[top]Tips and Strategies

  • All trophies are in XMB order
  • Ac3 has added several new weapons to the mix for this new game, the most efficient being the Tomahawk. Connor's Tomahawk skills are incredible in this game, with the counter move he can block any melee attack and has some great finishing cutscenes with the tomahawk - hidden blade combos.
  • The Longbow has been added to replace the Crossbow as your silent ranged weapon in this game, and while cool, it isn't very effective from long range.
  • Poison Darts and Smoke Bombs are just as effective as they were in previous games.
  • Trip Wire Bombs I seldom used, but are good for creating ambushes as they explode when any enemy runs through their proximity radius.
  • The Rope Dart is effective for starting battles for up in trees and is useful in combat for stringing together kills as it pulls enemies towards you.
  • Combat has been changed in this game and you no longer need to focus on an enemy by pressing the to prepare to counter. The game still has all the counter moves and chain kill system in place and once you get used to the combat, you will most likely enjoy it more than the combat in the previous games.
  • Enemies have two stages of attack in battle. They will either get a red arrow over there heads, which means a melee attack is coming, or they will get a yellow arrow signifying an attack from a gun. All the melee attacks can be countered by pressing the when you see them start to take a swing, then afterwards use the corresponding button to finish the Counter of your choice. is disarm, is kill and is to use your secondary item in the combo. If it's a yellow arrow, press the to grab a nearby enemy to use him as a shield, if one is available.
  • Some enemies cant be Counter - Killed until they have been disarmed first.
  • The enemy Muskets in the game can be picked up and used after they have been dropped.
  • Hunting is new to this game and while you will have a brief tutorial, let me tell you the most effective way to hunt. Get your ass up into a tree, toss out some bait, and then use an Air Assassination to take down the animal you are hunting. Remember you must skin your kills or you risk Desynching.
  • In the Frontier, hold the to free run up in the trees.

[top]Homestead Income and Crafting

Gone from Assassin's Creed are the days of purchasing Landmarks, then having your income from them deposited into your bank account. In AC3 you have to earn your money. You can earn money in AC3 by looting chests and guards, pickpocketing, catching couriers....if you can find one...and from selling good to stores. The most effective way to earn money out of all of that is through selling to stores. Now I have devised a plan that will get you all the money you will possibly need for the game, so you don't ever need to stress out about it. You can start doing this during the game, but it is most effective AFTER the main story and once you have finished all Myriam's Homestead missions.
  • Preparation:The first thing you need to do is to finish Myriam's Homestead Missions. Now you need to have 3 Land Convoys constructed AND have purchased the extra slots to carry more items in the convoys.
  • Make sure all the Forts are Liberated and all the districts Liberated in New York.
  • Now head to your ledger and purchase the following supplies from Myriam:
    • Bear Pelts x10 - Total Cost £2400
    • Beaver Pelts x10 - Total Cost £1600
    • Deer Pelts x10 - Total Cost £1200
    • Total Investment - £5200

  • Now head to your convoys and load up the first convoy with 9 Bear Pelts going to Rhinelander's Sugar in New York
  • Now load the second with your last Bear Pelt and 8 Beaver Pelts
  • and finally your final convoy with the last 2 Beaver Pelts and 7 Deer Pelts
  • You may have more of any of these pelts simply from your animal hunting in the Frontier, but lets assume for this example you only have what's purchased.
  • You will receive the following return on your convoys:
    • Convoy 1 - £11,232
    • Convoy 2 - £7,904
    • Convoy 3 - £6032
    • Total Profit after initial Investment +£19,968.00

  • You can repeat this every 15 minutes or so, from any ledger at any General Store to get enough money to buy anything you could possibly need in the game.

[top]Desmond's Assassin Journey by IGN

This is it, the final Assassin's Creed to tell us Desmond's story. Whether you have been present since Desmond first hopped into the Animus and started reliving memories as Altair, or this is your first time popping in an Assassin's Creed game to see what the fuss is about, it has been a long journey. IGN has compiled this short video below to relive the story that has been told over the course of the previous 4 games so you can get up to speed on what has happened if you haven't played the previous games, or just to relive the important key points in the story if you are a veteran of the series. AC3 may be completely new in terms of a new setting and assassin, but it is still Desmond's Journey...

Warning!!! Major Spoilers for the first 4 AC games in the video!!!

[top]Official Reviews

Assassin's Creed II - by: Gotakibono

Overall: 8.5/10
Assassin's Creed II is a great sequel and improves on the first entry in the series in almost every possible way. If you liked the original game then you're going to love this game. Even if you hated the first game, you may find yourself enjoying this game. In saying that, I'm still not finding myself falling hopelessly in love with the series, even with all the notable improvements staring me in the face. I'm looking forward to seeing where the series goes from here. It may one day coalesce into the all-conquering game that it certainly has the potential for. Until then, this is one massive step in the right direction for the series. Click here to read the full review.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood - by: Curse

Overall: 8.0/10
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a strong game, based on the foundations provided by its predecessor, with improvements to gameplay and another fantastic story added. It might not be a must have for everyones collection, but it provides a key part to the Assassin's Creed story, and adds an interesting online mode. Click here to read the full review.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations - by: Curse

Overall: 8.5/10
Based on the thrilling story left behind by the other entries in the Assassin's Creed franchise, Revelations is one hell of a game and one that I'll be going back to spend plenty of time on. It's left me dying for more once again, and at this rate I don't see how or when the Assassin's Creed hype train will be slowing down. Click here to read the full review.

Assassin's Creed III - by: JackAttack

Overall: 9.0/10 Brilliant
Assassin's Creed III is the definitive Assassin's Creed experience. The gameplay is as tight as it's ever been, the story and setting are wonderful, emotional, and easily come to life, and there's much fun to be had in playing the multiplayer and admiring the game's beauty. If you can get past the small nuances, you'll find that Assassin's Creed III is a game easily enjoyed, and one that is rich in content.Click here to read the full review.

Assassin's Creed III: Liberation - by: Kid_Loser

Overall: 7/10
The game is fun, but falls short on many fronts. The overall single-player can be fun once you get into it, but it doesn’t have too attracting of a story and it is rather short. The mp is also very skippable, and is something you will probably not come back to ever, once you’re done with it. It may be the first AC game on the Vita, but I certainly hope they come back next time with a game much better than this. It may be a bit of a disappointment and not be the Vita’s savior, but it is still worth checking out at some point. Click here to read the full review.

An Extraordinary Man
Complete the Encyclopedia of the Common Man.

In Sequence 6 you will receive the first of your Homestead Missions from Achilles. For this mission he asks you to investigate the activities of the Artisans who have settled in the Davenport Homestead so that it can be recorded into the Encyclopedia of the Common Man. Sounds easy right? It's a complete pain in the ass. To do this you need to hold down the while targeting one of your Artisans until it records them doing an activity. Problem is, not all of the activities they do can be recorded. For every Artisan that is settled you must record three different activities to complete their set. Try and do this whenever you come back to do new Homestead Missions throughout the game, otherwise you will be left with a huge grind at the end.

Use your Eagle Vision mode by pressing the to see if they are doing a recordable activity. If the Artisan has a Gold Aura, they can be scanned. Unfortunately it will be gold even if they are doing an activity that you have already scanned from them. Below is a list of all the Artisans and their scannable activities. Once the Encyclopedia is complete, the trophy will unlock.

Name Occupation Scannable Activity
Big Dave Blacksmith Forging Metal, Horseshoeing, Sharpening Tools, Splitting a Log with the Lumberers, Unloading his Cart, Adding a new Metal Ring
Lyle White Doctor Playing Bowls near the Inn, Talking to Myriam and Norris on the road by his house, Reading a Newspaper on the bench by his house, Taking measurements with Ellen, Picking Herbs
Warren and Prudence Farmers Baking bread, Beekeeping, Feeding the Chickens, Shoveling Hay, Making Butter, Milking Cows, Plowing a Field, Plucking a Chicken, Processing Flax
Myriam Huntress Cleaning her Musket, Trading Pelts, Roasting Hare, Sharpening Tools, Skinning a Deer, Setting a Snare Trap
Oliver and Corinne Innkeepers Butchering a Pig , Changing Bottles, Changing Kegs, Crushing Apples, Shoveling Hay, Hanging out behind the bar, Roasting Deer, Taking Measurements with Ellen, Stomping Grapes
Godfrey and Terry Lumberers Playing Bowls near the Inn, Inspecting and Loading Lumber, Reading Newspaper, Sawing, Sharpening Tools, Splitting a Log, Unloading their Cart
Norris Miner Filling his Lantern, Mining, Repairing a Beam in the Mine, Sharpening Tools, Sifting Rocks at the Stream
Ellen Tailor With a Client, Trading pelts, Sewing, Taking Measurements
Lance Woodworker With a Client, Inspecting the Fence of the Inn, Planing Wood, Repairing a Beam, Sawing, Sharpening Tools, Inspecting his Folding Chair

Patent not Pending
Craft one of Franklin's inventions to decorate your Manor.

All of Franklin's Journals have been scattered around Boston and New York. You will encounter a couple of these early on in the game, and they are a pain in the ass to catch, but I recommend waiting until later in the game to work on this. After Sequence 4 you can buy a Page Map from the General Store for £5000 which will unlock all the Page Locations on the map. For every 4 pages you collect, you will unlock one of Leonardo's Inventions for Crafting. For this trophy you simply need to craft ONE of the inventions listed below.

House Party
Recruit any of the Artisans and see them settled on the Homestead.

There are a total of 10 Artisans to find amongst the three major locales and even at Davenport Homestead. These Artisans serve as your income for the game. The Artisans will create supplies for you which you can then use to sell through and and naval convoys at the General Stores in the game. They will also have side missions to complete throughout the main story that will improve the quality of their work and give you access to new items they can craft. You can also combine the items they gather to create some of the best items in the game. This is essential for completing Franklin's Inventions as well as completing the Delivery Requests. For this trophy you only need to find your first Artisan. The first one available is the Woodworker, but if you don't feel like going out of your way to rescue him, you will recruit one to stay at the Homestead as a main story mission in Sequence 5 - Memory 4: The River Rescue

Original Gamer
Win a game of Fanorona, Morris and Bowls on the Homestead.

AC3 adds new games for your *cough* enjoyment *cough* . Gone are all the easy somewhat fun games of the older AC games and replace with a bunch of irritating lame ass games, with a cheating CPU. You can find games all over, in every location, but for THIS particular trophy you must play AND WIN one game in these three games at the Homestead, getting DRAWS will not count for this trophy. You are given the option to place bets as you start these games, but I have noticed that the CPU is harder to beat the higher of a bet you make, so I recommend not betting anything if you are having trouble with a particular game.

Fanorona
Fanorona is available inside the Manor, during or after the story. This is the MOST irritating game of all the three games. In this game the object is to clear out all the other pieces from the opposing player. To clear out pieces you can either move your piece towards or away from the enemy pieces along the lines of the board. If you move to an adjacent square of an enemies piece, you will take all the enemy pieces in the direction you moved on that line until you hit either an open space, or the edge of the board. The same goes for moving away from an enemy piece. Now for the tricky part, Chaining. Chaining is what kills you in this game. Once you move your piece, after taking the enemy pieces, if you can perform another capture move from your new position you can chain together another capture. YOU can continue doing this until you have no open capture moves to take. How this kills you is that Achilles can seriously take out 3/4 of your pieces in one move if you aren't careful. When the pieces start getting low, you need to try and stay away from the edges as it is a death sentence if you get cornered. Try and corner Achilles with some pieces on each side of him, while being careful to not move into a space where he can take you. If you don't have enough pieces, he will generally just move back and forth in the same spot so you cant get near him so it is key to try and keep as many pieces alive for the end of the game as possible.

9 Man Morris
Nine Man Morris is available inside the Inn and isn't nearly as irritating as Fanorona. The object of this game is to get three of your pieces in a row, which are called "mills". Once you get three in a row, you can take one of your opponents pieces. You can win by blocking your opponent so he has no available move, or by getting him down to only two pieces left. The easiest way to win this game is to create "traps". A trap is when you can move one of your pieces back and forth in and out of your mill allowing you to take one of his pieces with every other turn. If you can create a "double mill trap", it's even better as every move back and forth into each mill will take an opponents piece. I recommend starting out taking both diagonal outside corners. then taking either the corresponding corner connecting the two possible mills to create your first trap. After that, work on blocking the CPU from any potential mills they may be trying to make. He likes to be funny and plant his pieces around the board trying to get yours out of place so that when you run out of pieces he can move his into place and you can't block him. Once you run out of pieces, make sure you strategically take his pieces while moving back and forth into your mill, make sure he doesn't have two piece together that aren't blocked at any time because when you get him down to 3 pieces, he will enter, Flying Mode. In this last desperate effort, he can move his pieces anywhere on the board, into any open spots he wants to move them into. If he has two pieces together when this starts, he can completely ruin your game and take you down from blocking your mill from across the board, then moving into his own mill and taking one of your crucial mill pieces.

Bowls
Bowls is located on the side of the Inn and unlike the other two is only an Intermediate Game. This one IMO is the easiest of the games and is very easy to win even at £100 bet. Either player will toss out a marker, and then you will take turns tossing out round balls to see whose closer to the marker. You can rack up multiple points on this if you can get several of your balls around the marker that are all closer than the opponents. You have two shot selections for this game, Lob and Normal. The Normal shot is perfect for knocking your opponent's ball out of the area. This might not get your ball close, but it will push his ball away giving you a better shot on your next throw. Lob Shots are great for precise tossing as they don't move very far from the land point. After your shot selection, you must press the to select your accuracy. The smaller the blue circle, the more accurate of a ball you will throw. I like to toss out the marker as close tot he wall as possible, then you can use the wall as a backboard to get really close shots to the marker.

9 Mens Morris: Nine Mens Morris Web Game
- Select "guru" difficulty (click the VII at the bottom of the icons on the left)
- select "swap sides"
- choose to go first on AC3, mimmick the website's move, then input Ollie's move EXACTLY for your move on the website.
- rinse, repeat
* I have yet to lose using this method, and I've done it, like, 6 times. I think a draw is still possible, but it hasn;t happened to me yet.

Fanorona, aka "Dammit, Ubisoft, why did you put this cheap, stupid, unfun crap in this otherwise awesome game?": Fanorona
- go to the "options" tab, leave everything alone, except you should click "white pieves start @ top of board," "multiple captures okay on first move," and "long move log format," then click "ok"
- go to the "level" tab, click "three-ply fixed depth search," then click okay
- go to the board tab, and set up the game in AC3, Achilles should go first.
- Now, replicate his first move on the website, this is a little clunky, but on this website, for single piece captures, you click the piece you want to capture, so you have to pay EXTREMELY close attention to Achilles's moves and what pieces he takes, because you could easily wast a lot of time if you mess up; for multiple piece captures, you click and drag your piece with the cursor; if Achilles doesn't capture all the pieces he can, replicate his moves, but when he stops with a capture left on the board, click the "pass" button to end the turn.
- this is where this one gets really clunky, because the sim doesn't show you it's move, i.e., the move you need to replicate, it just shows the results; go to the "move log" tab, and under the "computer" moves heading, replicate the moves as described in the move log. To read the moves, imagine the Fanorona board labelled as columns A-I (left to right), and rows 5-1 (top to bottom); an example move is: f3-e3 x d3; this means you need to move your piece from f3 to e3, and capture Achilles's d3. It's clunky, yes, but I haven't found a better Fanorona sim.
- Rinse, repeat.
* This one is a little more prone to draws. I played a total of three games against Achilles using this sim, and the first two were draws, and the third I eventually one, but only after turning down Achilles's offer of a draw twice. I'd say if Achilles offers a draw, decline twice, and if the sim is stuck in a repeating loop of moves, creating a stalemate, then accept the draw and try again. It will work, eventually.

If you are as completely frustrated with the cheap, infuriating AI on these games, try these. It worked for me, and I have the Original Gamer trophy to show for it. Hope this is helpful!

Bring Down the House
Explore Fort Wolcott.

For this trophy, you only need to find 1 of the Peg leg trinkets, and then give the Trinket to Peg Leg on the dock by the Aquila. Once you do that you will unlock this mission when you board the Aquila. Fort Wolcott is very straightforward. You only need to be sneaky. Avoid the guards and use Silent takedowns as you are moving throughout the Fort to get the the cells. In the last area, use your corner kill to take out the two guards on the upper walkway, then take the two guards on the bottom from behind with a Double Assassination or with Poison Darts, then inspect the area for the map.

After you receive the map, you need to take out the guards that attack then high tail it out of there before the timer expires. The running is straightforward, but when you get to the room where you are ambushed by guards, you must take them all out to continue. After that, it is a straight shot to the end of the area.

For a video walkthrough of this level see the video below.

Kidd Gloves
Uncover the mystery of Oak Island.

For this trophy, you must find 24 of the Peg leg trinkets, and complete all the Captain's Kidd missions below to have all the pieces of the map which you can receive from giving the Trinkets to peg leg on the dock by the Aquila. At the bottom of the missions below is a video walkthrough of the final level for the trophy.

For the locations of the Peg Leg Trinkets, please see the Completionist trophy below

[top]Captain Kidd's Treasure Missions

  • Memory #1 - Fort Walcott
    • Unlock Requirements: Give Peg Leg 1 Trinket
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Perform 3 Ledge Assassinations:
There are plenty of opportunities in this memory to perform Ledge Assassinations. If you are new to the Assassin's Creed series, a Ledge Assassination is when you are hanging from any ledge, and Assassinate the enemy as they get above you. If you are having trouble seeing the enemies, use the Eagle Vision to make things a little easier.
      • Limit health loss to 33%:
The only time this is an issue is at the end, just remember to Counter - Kill and don't go running into the fire.
      • Achieve a kill streak of 3:
You will have two chances to get this on your way out. Once when you find the map, and another when you drop into the room with all the guards.

  • Memory #2 - Dead Chest's Treasure
    • Unlock Requirements: Give Peg Leg 6 Trinkets
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Perform 3 running assassinations:
After the chase sequence begins, there will be three guards trying to shoot you as you are running. Simply run at them and while holding the to sprint press the to perform a Running Assassination.
      • Stay within 40 meters of your target:
Keep running while holding the to keep up with the asshat. If you fall behind restart the checkpoint to retry.
      • Kill the target before he reaches the cave:
At the very end of the chase, it will look like you've lost the target as you are climbing up the broken ship, but then as you slide down the other side, he will jog by underneath you. At that moment look at him and you can perform an Air Assassination to take him down.

  • Memory #3 - The Ghost Ship
    • Unlock Requirements: Give Peg Leg 14 Trinkets
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Do not fall into the water:
This spans the beginning of the area and after you have found the map. It's ok for the water to splash on you, but you can't fall into the water while climbing out of the boat.
      • Reach the Octavius within 1 minute:
Once this starts, simply run across the ice in the water while holding down the to reach the boat. You don't need to be at the top of the boat, you just need to reach the Ice the boat is resting on to finish this challenge.

  • Memory #4 - The Mad Doctor's Castle
    • Unlock Requirements: Give Peg Leg 24 Trinkets
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Reach the assailant's location within 1 minute:
After investigating the clues that allow you to watch the initial shooting, use the stuffed bear on the side of the room to climb up to the second floor, and head over to the edge of the room. Now use the beams to cross over to the other side of the room which is the shooter's location.
      • Solve the riddle within 1 minute:
This is the clock puzzle, you can investigate the clocks if you want, but the time you need to enter is 5:50 to proceed.

  • Memory #5 - Oak Island
    • Unlock Requirements: Complete all 4 previous Captain Kidd Missions
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Solve the riddle within 5 minutes:
Use your Eagle Vision, to locate the clues in the area, then use the left and the right sticks to align the images with the landmarks on the ground to finish the riddle.
      • Do not use any ranged weapons against animals:
You know why this is here, because these wolves are a pain in the ass. Unlike the normal animals, you only have a second to counter these asshats. Want to make this easier, climb up into the trees and perform an Air Assassination on them as they get below. This will save your health as well
      • Limit health loss to 30%:
Use the method above to take out the wolves.

All Washed Up
Complete all Naval Missions aboard the Aquila.

Naval Battle is something new for the Assassin's Creed series, and unlike the Assassin Den Defense game, this one is actually quite fun. You will gain access to the Aquila, the ship that is badly damaged near the dock at the Homestead, after you have completed The Hard Way main story mission during Sequence 5. This mission gives you a tutorial on the basics of Naval Warfare and navigating. After you have finished that you'll be able to complete Naval Missions, which are represented by a Templar symbol on your Naval Map and also Privateer Missions which are represented by an icon that is sitting on a Naval Trade route. For this trophy you simply need to complete the 4 Naval Missions in the game. Below we will go over Naval Tips and Strategies and below that the four Naval Missions to help you unlock this trophy.

Naval Tips and Strategies
  • Aquila Controls:
    • The left stick will turn the Aquila and the right stick will control the camera, exactly the same as the game.
    • Use the to increase your speed by opening more sails.
    • Use the to decrease your speed by closing your sails
    • Use the to order your crew to brace for impact. This is useful for avoiding enemy vessel cannon fire and for taking cover from giant waves.
    • Use the to fire the deck mounted Swivel Guns. Hold down the button until the aiming reticule is on the desired ship target and turns red then release to fire a precision attack.
    • Use the to fire your ship's cannons. Hold the button down until you have some ships crossing your path, then release to fire.
    • Use to change between your ammo type for your cannons.

  • Aquila Upgrades: The Aquila has several upgrades that can be purchased to make the Naval and Privateer Missions much easier. I recommend getting at least some of these before working on finishing all of the missions that way you have the most feared Ship in the Atlantic. All the upgrades can be purchased by interacting with the log book on any desk where you can find a Harbormaster. You can also find one at the pier in the Homestead next to Captain Faulkner.
    Upgrade Price Description
Wooden Hull Reinforcements £13,000 Increases your ships defense against all attacks
Iron Hull Reinforcements £25,000 Adds an extra block of damage reduction for your ship before the ship starts taking real damage. Available AFTER you purchase the Wooden Hull Reinforcements
Extra Cannon £2,500 Adds an extra cannon on each side of the ship for improved firepower
Heat Shot £19,000 Wraps every cannonball in flames to cause massive damage to enemy ships and light them on fire.
Grapeshot £17,000 Changes the cannonballs into smaller cannonballs. Similar to turning every cannon into a massive shotgun for close combat blasts.
Improved Rudder £11,000 Greatly increases the Aquila's response time for cornering, even at Full Mast
Piercing Round £9,000 Increases the firepower of the Deck Guns, giving them farther range as well as increased Damage.
    Naval Ram £8,000

    Toggle Spoiler

  • The Aquila will turn tighter at Half Mast or even at a Full Stop than it will when you are at Full Mast. Remembering this can be especially helpful in avoiding running aground or if you need to turn tight in battle.
  • When you pull along side an enemy ship with cannons, there will be a highlighted red area on the water showing their line of fire before their cannons start blasting. If your ship passes through that line press the to take cover.
  • If you are in rough waters, there will most likely be Rogue Waves. These are represented by an orange line on your mini map, and can cause good damage to your ship if they hit you. Just before the wave hits the Aquila, there will be a bell rung on the ship, once you hear that, press the to take cover.
  • Rogue Winds are very strong and can easily blow you into the rocks in narrow passages. Switch to Half Mast when you get hit with these to correct your course.
  • Holding down the cannon fire button will concentrate your fire to a more specific area. Try holding the button down until an enemy vessel is in range to maximize the damage.
  • Enemy Vessel Overview:
    • Gunboat: These are the smallest of the enemy vessels. They have two sails and deck guns. These aren't worth wasting money spent on cannonballs, simply take them out with your Deck Guns.
    • Schooner: These are just a touch bigger than the Gunboats. They have 3 small sails and usual come straight at you. These can do considerable damage as they fire Grapeshot at you, but can be easily dispatched with your Deck Guns if they are upgraded.
    • Frigate: These are the smaller of the two larger enemy vessels. They have cannons and deck guns and can fire more rapidly than you can. They will have a weak point at the front of the ship if you can cause enough damage to reveal it.
    • Man of War: These are the larger of the two larger enemy vessels. They can cause massive damage with a very large arsenal of guns. Use Heat Shot to take them down faster, or use a Chain Shot to take down their main mast to make them immobile making for easier attack runs on them. They will have a weak point at the front of the ship if you can cause enough damage to reveal it.

Naval Missions

  • Memory #1 - The Chase
    • Unlock Requirements: Complete Sequence 5
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Limit the ship's damage to 50%:
This objective is a pain, as you must keep the Merchant Vessel above 50% health. If that wasn't bad enough, the asshat that is driving thinks it's a race and wants to be in front which makes all the gunboats in the area go straight for him. I recommend waiting until you have the piercing rounds so you can take the Gunboats down from long range with the Deck Gun. Below I will map out their spawn points to help in this run through the passage.
        1. The first set of gunboats will appear to the left of the starting area, about 4-5 of them
        2. The second set will be up around the rocks on the right side after the small open area. There will be 2 of them.
        3. The third set appear almost at the same time as the second set, but they are farther away on the left side and are less of a thread so take them out after the set on the right.
        4. The fourth set will be up around the rocks on the left side.
        5. The final set is directly in front of the passageway you want to go through. Try and get close enough to have a good shot before firing to so you don't get stuck in a reload with two of them firing at the merchant ship.

      • Use a mine to eliminate a gunboat:
After the first set of mines, there is a gunboat next to a mine on the left side, near some rocks just begging to get blown up.
      • Limit damage from the Fort's mortars to 50%:
Once you have the Iron Hull Reinforcements and the Heat Shot, this is a breeze. Simply stay out of the strike area when the mortars open fire. Their strike zone will be the water that looks to be boiling with all the grapeshot that has been shot out there, and use your heat shot to take the Mortars out quickly. The faster you take them out, the less possible damage they can do to you.

  • Memory #2 - The Rescue
    • Unlock Requirements: Complete Sequence 6
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Limit damage from rogue waves to 25%:
You can hear the Rogue Waves coming and you will see an orange line on the minimap. Whenever they get close someone will ring a bell, this is your cue to press the to cover against damage.
      • Make no more than 2 missed shots:
Plan your shots carefully so you don't miss the enemy while firing.
      • Destroy 2 Frigates by firing at their weak points:
Use focused shots to expose the weak points of the bows of 2 of the Frigates, then use your Deck Guns to take them out.

  • Memory #3 - French Involvement
    • Unlock Requirements: Complete Sequence 7
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Limit damage to La Belladonna to 50%:
Take the enemy out quickly so the Belladonna doesn't take to much damage.
      • Sink more enemies than La Belladonna:
If your Aquila is upgraded this will be very easy. Also take out the smaller boats with your Deck Gun to pad your total.
      • Kill the Officer within 1 minute:
Compared to the other chases, this is really easy. Simply chase down the officer and avoid the rest of the enemies to take him out quickly after you board the enemy ship.

  • Memory #4 - Biddle's Hideout
    • Unlock Requirements: Complete Sequence 8
    • Optional Objectives:
      • Take out the Men of War within 3 minutes:
There are 2 Men of War here that you need to take out. As long as you have the Heat Shot, you have more than enough time to complete this task. Make nice runs to maximize your damage on each Man of War. If you are really having problems, use either the Grape Shot, or the Chain Shot
      • Destroy the Randolph's mast with a single broadside:
Very easy, pull up right next to the Randolph and use a concentrated shot with your Chain Ammo to take out the Mast in one run.
      • Kill only Biddle:
Once you board the Randolph, Biddle will be to your right. Avoid everyone else and just take him out to finish the mission.

For each one you complete, you will remove 25% of the risk associated with your Naval Convoys along that particular trade route. There are a total of 12 missions and none of them are too terribly difficult, but are all enjoyable. I recommend waiting until the Aquila is fully equipped before going back to finish off the missions needed for the 100% Sync for these.

There are a total of 3 districts in BOTH New York and Boston. To Liberate a District, you must first complete the Liberation Missions associated with the district, then you need to find the Assassin recruit in the area and talk with them. Once you have finished the Liberation Missions, you will have one final Liberation Recruitment Mission with your new Assassin to take down a Templar in the area. After you have finished taking down the Templar, the Assassin will join your posse and the District will be free of Templar Control. For this trophy you only need to complete three of the districts in EITHER of the cities, but you must complete both cities to achieve platinum int he game.

Monopoly Man
Send a convoy to Boston, New York and the Frontier.

To complete this trophy you will first need to Craft 3 Land Convoys. For this you will need Lance the Woodworker recruited, Oak Bark and Oak Lumber. Once you have three convoys, you must then find at least one General Store in each territory. Now I strongly recommend waiting until you have cleared out the Forts in these areas, so the convoys will be safer. Once you have achieved all of that simply toss at least one item in each Convoy and send one to a store in each location for an easy trophy.

Head in the Cloud
Find all pivots and sync the Animus to the Cloud

This will appear when you enter Boston for the final Epilogue mission after the main story of the game. You will be given a brief, not so descriptive tutorial on HOW syncing and the pivot points works, but it can be rather confusing so I will try to give a much better explanation on how to do this. I recommend working on all your other leftover tasks for the Completionist trophy BEFORE working on this, as you are bound to find some of the Pivot Points just from the exploring you have to do to finish off that trophy.

Each Pivot Point you find, will unlock an Animus Hack to make the game easier, BUT These Hacks will disable trophies!!!
  1. You must be connected online to work on this trophy!
  2. The Pivot Point Locations are random for everyone, and are based on where the Pivot Points are located in the AC3 games that your friends are playing from your PSN list, this is why you have to be online.
  3. You will now have a new Sub Menu in the menu for the game when you press . Head into the Animus Synching submenu and head to the Pivot Points submenu. Now, you can see your available Pivot Points and what Pivot Points you need to find. If you move the cursor over the Pivot Points, it will tell you where they are located.
  4. Hopefully you listened to me and waited until you had finished almost everything so you have more Fast Travel Locations available and this will be a lot easier. Fast Travel to a location on the outside of the map. Head to your Pivot Point submenu and press the on an available Pivot Point and then you will be taken to the map. Press the again to place the pivot in your location.
  5. Now head to another location on the outside of the map and place another Pivot Point. The two Pivot Points will form a line and you will get a Green highlighted area on one of the two sides of the line. This Green Area is where the Pivot Point is located that you need to find.
  6. You can now place as many Pivot Points as you want to narrow down that green area to help you find a smaller location to search for the Pivot Point. The more Pivots Points you have to plant, the easier this is going to be.
  7. As you are exploring the green area, keep an eye on your minimap. As you approach the Pivot Point, you will see a small white square with a white dot in the middle Icon. It looks like a smaller version of the custom marker square with a dot in the middle. First time I saw it I thought, what the hell is this Icon for? It won't appear on your main map, only your minimap. This is the location of the Pivot Point.
  8. Continue doing this method until you have found all of the Pivot Points in your game. Remember you can pick up the Pivot Points you have placed, by heading to your Animus Synching menu, then heading to the map, and then pressing the to pick them up as you hover the cursor over them. Once you finish an area, take all the Pivots with you to the next map.

Once you have found all the Pivot Points for your game, return to the Animus Synching sub menu, and a quick program will run synching you to the cloud and the trophy will unlock.

So, I done some research and found that if you're under 50 people in friends list it will work properly. I went back to my XMB done some deleting to only 47 friends in list, loaded game back up and BAM. Worked like a charm.

Once you have acquired all the items for the delivery, head back to your contact to complete the delivery request and receive a small monetary reward. The majority of the items to be delivered can be acquired from hunting, but some of them will take clever Crafting to complete. I recommend waiting until you have finished collecting all the chests so you have all the recipes to work on finishing these. Below is a list of all the Delivery requests and when the missions are unlocked.

Assassination Contract Missions
Assassin Missions will begin appearing after Sequence 5 of the main story. They will have a bullseye logo on the main map of the game. Head to these markers and you will find a Citizen Mission for a group of Assassinations. After accepting the mission all of the targets on the map will be marked with a bullseye logo, similar to the Courier Missions. This is a little glitchy as a couple times, I had to accept the Assassination Contracts more than once for it to register and update my map with the targets. Once you get close to the target, they will get marked with a red dot over there heads. Finish all the Assassination Contracts listed below to complete this Citizen Mission group
  • Boston Assassination Contracts: Available after Sequence 6
  • New York Assassination Contracts: Available after Sequence 9 - Missing Supplies Memory
  • Frontier Assassination Contracts: Available after Sequence 5 - Boston's Most Wanted Memory

Forts

There are a total of 7 Forts in the game that need Liberating. When you find the Forts, you will first need to get inside. Once inside the Forts, prepare for a large battle as there will several Redcoats and the Forts are always restricted areas. Once inside the Fort, you will need to accomplish three tasks:
  1. Kill the Fort Captain: The Fort Captain needs to die, in whatever gruesome manner you seem most befitting if his nature.
  2. Blow Up the Powder Reserve: Every Fort has a Powder Reserve, which is mercifully marked on your map. To blow them up, you can either grab a nearby explosive barrel toss it over near it and shoot it, or you can approach the Reserve and press the to toss a lantern inside igniting it, then get away from it before it explodes.
I have actually encountered a fairly large game crash...not sure if its just mine, or what. Occasionally when liberating the forts, when you pick up an explosive barrel, and turn to face the Powder Room, the entire screen goes one solid color and the audio goes crazy. You can still pause the game and the screen is normal for that, but when you unpause it doesn't change back. If you leave the Animus, when it loads in present day as Desmond the entire screen is another color but you cant see anything. Quitting out to the main menu does nothing, first time I did that, it reloaded all fucked up and I was quite concerned I would have to start over.

To fix it, you have to completely exit the game, and completely reload it and it puts you back at the save point before all that happened. Fortunately Ive only noticed it during Fort attacks, but it has happened to me twice at two different Forts

  3. Lower the British Flag: Once you have completed the previous two objectives this will activate on your map. Find the flagpole and press the to lower the British Flag and raise the Colonial Flag, then watch the British leave....also don't forget to grab the chest in the Fort as it will usually have good loot.

The Forts were meant to take the place of the Wolf Lairs, but are much faster to conquer and not nearly as impressive IMO. Once you get past the initial wave of Redcoats, taking the Fort is a piece of cake. Once you have Liberated a Fort, you can use the fort as a Fast Travel station.

Boston Forts
  • Fort Hill This will most likely be the first Fort that you find, it is located on the right side of the map of Boston. You can walk right in through the front doors.
  • Fort Independence This Fort is located on the bottom left of the city, near the swamp area. You can walk right in through the front doors.

Frontier Forts
  • Fort St. Mathieu This is located on the bottom right of the map, near the exit to New York. You will need to enter this fort by climbing the cliffs on the ocean side.
  • Fort Monmouth This is located on the bottom left corner of the map. You will need to get inside through the back door near the pier
  • Fort Duquesne This is located on the upper left corner of the map...almost as far as you can go. Use the tree branches to get inside of the fort.

New York Forts
  • Fort Washington This is located on the left side of the map, on the water. You will need to use some crates on the backside that are on the pier to scale the wall to enter.
  • Fort Division This is on the upper right area of the map. You can enter through the front door.

[top]Liberation Missions

Liberation Missions will begin after Sequence 6 - Memory 3: The Angry Chef. You will help Stephen Chapreau Liberate Boston Central district and after that you may begin Liberating the remaining Districts for both cities. All Districts must be Liberated for this trophy. Once you have complete the base Liberation requirements, you will receive a special mission, which I have made Green, that you perform with your potential Assassin recruit. Once you have complete each mission you will unlock a new assassin and their abilities.

South Boston
  • Defeat Escorts:
For this mission, you need to defeat a party of Redcoats that are escorting conscripts to signing up. There are three groups of these located in the South Boston area.
    1. The first one is located in the Southern part of the South Boston district, near where the roads all converge into one road to head out of town.
    2. The second one is located near the northern part of the district, near some houses by the large open fields.
    3. The final escort mission is in the far north part of the district. Almost where the land starts to jut out into the ocean.

  • Kill Conscription Agents:
These Conscription Agents are pursuing civilians on horseback. You can take them out from a distance with your pistol for an easy kill.
    1. The first agent is almost directly in the middle of the district, closer to the water than he is to the Central District.
    2. The second one is just north of the first.
    3. The final agent is in the far north part of the district. on the road where the land juts out into the water.

  • Martial Law:
This is the Final mission to Liberate this district. Head into the Restricted Area and blend in with the crowd. Then use the Marksmen Ability to take out the main Templar to finish this district

North Boston
  • Protect Merchant:
Take out the enemies that are trying to bully the Merchants. I recommend coming in fast and taking out the ringleader with a running attack or air attack. He will try and get away as the battle starts and if he does you will fail the mission.
    1. The first one is located on the right side of the map, near the Old Brewery.
    2. The second one is located north of the first one.
    3. The final mission is located on the Northern left part of the map, near the ocean..

  • Free Captives:
The captives will always be held in a Stockade, and are always inside of a restricted zone. You must deal with the enemies in the area before freeing the captives.
    1. The first one is located on the bottom left portion of this map, near the fields.
    2. The second one is located almost dead center of this district. If you put a marker in the middle and go to it, you will find this.
    3. The mission is located in the upper right part of the map, somewhat near the water..

  • Gangs of Boston:
One of the easier ones, head towards the Restricted Area, then use the Bodyguard Ability to call your assassins and they will escort you to the target for an easy kill.

North New York
  • Beat up Merchant:
Beat up the Merchants, you must use your fists, so that the starving orphans can grab some dinner
    1. The first one is located on the left side of the district, near the boundary to West New York, which is the third Horizontal road.
    2. The second one is located on the right side, Almost in the middle of that half of the district.
    3. The final mission is located on the right side, just north of the second Merchant.

  • Defend Farmer:
The farmers simply want to tend to their fields, but have killed a Redcoat. You must protect them from the reinforcements.
    1. The first one is located on the left side of the district, near the boundary to West New York, which is the third Horizontal road.
    2. The second one is located north and slightly to the right of the first one
    3. The final farmer is located on the right side near the bottom part of the district, near the boundary to East New York.

  • Prevent Evictions:
Prevent the Redcoats from evicting families in the district
    1. The first one is located on the left side of the district, near the boundary to West New York, which is the third Horizontal road.
    2. The second one is located north and to the right of the first and pretty much in the middle of the area.
    3. The final family is once again north and slightly right or the second.

  • Hoarding Provisions:
Head to the designated area, then use the Lure Ability with your new recruit to Lure the other guards away leaving an easy kill on the Templar for you

West New York
  • Carry Sick Civilian:
Find the sick civilians and carry them...ew.... to the nearest mobile clinic....on a funny side note, when you are carrying the women you can see up their dresses, apparently they noticed this too as they were smart enough to give them panties
    1. All three are located right on the middle of the district, around the clinic. One to the left, once below and one to the right of the clinic.

  • Put Down Rabid Dogs:
Nothing worse than Rabid Dogs. Find these asshats and put them down before they infect more people.
    1. The first one is located in the block at the very southern tip of the district.
    2. The second and third dogs are located right next to each other in the middle of the District, near where the Mobile Clinic is for the sick civilians.

  • Burn Infected Blankets:
Some people have collected some smallpox infested blankets and are hoarding them....again ew. Find them and interact with them to light them on fire.
    1. The first one is located near the border to East New York, in the middle of the area. Just north of a Sick Civilian.
    2. The second is located in the North part of the District, near the border for East New York.
    3. The third is located in the north part of the District, on the road to the far left, be the ocean

  • Protect the Clinic:
This is the final mission to Liberate this district. Use your new Ambush Ability when you see the Redcoats appear on your map, and then take out all the attacking soldiers to protect the clinic.

East New York
  • Beat up an Officer:
There are three officers that you must find and beat the crap out of to finish this. To do that, take out all the Redcoats that are patrolling with them, and all the Redcoat reinforcements that arrive afterwards.
    1. The first one is located in the upper right part of the District. One street to the left from the Waterfront.
    2. The second is located one street to the right from the border to West New York, in the middle of the District.
    3. The third is located South and slightly to the left of the second officer.

  • Prevent an Execution:
Find the firing line that is about to execute the party of civilians and take out the Redcoats
    1. The first and second firing lines are both located in the upper left part of the district
    2. The third is located just south of both of these two and slightly to the right.

  • Plant False Documents:
This one is a pain, you need to follow the civilian without being seen until he stops. Once he stops, you can hold the when standing near him to plant the documents on him.
    1. The first one is located on the south right side of the area, near the pier
    2. The second and third are located almost directly to the left of the first.

  • In the Wolf's Lair:
Head to the marked area and use the Escort Ability to gain access to the ship and assassinate your target.

[top]Assassin's Guild

You must recruit all 6 Assassin's into your guild by completing all the Liberation missions in the previous section. Each Assassin that you recruit will give you a new ability in battle. Once you have recruited them, you need to start leveling them up the the rank of Assassin at Level 11. It will take 1100 EXP points per Assassins to reach level 11. The easiest way to do this is to send them on Liberation Missions. Hold down the to open up the Assassin's Guild menu, then press the to head into your missions available. The entire Eastern seaboard is available. The States in red are under British Control and need to be Liberated. Each state also has a difficulty ranking for the missions. You must proceed through the missions one by one for each state, no skipping ahead to other missions in the state you are looking in at that time. To really have a good shot at completing these I recommend waiting until you either have 3 Assassins, or are at level 4-5 from calling them for use in Combat. Unlike the previous AC games, these Assassin's cant be killed in battle, they can only be injured on missions, so if a missions has a very low percentage for completion, you won't have to worry about finding a new recruit. Once each state is Liberated, it will turn blue and you will receive a bonus to your completion percentage from each bordering state on the state you are performing the next missions for, which can be quite helpful on these 3 star difficulty states. ONCE EACH STATE TURNS BLUE, new missions will still get added even though its Liberated, so remember to always check back to see whats available. Below is a list of all 6 assassins

Assassin Name Assassin Location Assassin Ability
Clipper Wilkinson Boston South Marksmen: All available Assassins open fire on the target and up to five of his supporting minions. If there are still enemies alive after the initial sniping, the Assassins will engage the remaining enemies in Combat
Duncan Little Boston North Bodygaurd: All available Assassins assemble behind Connor and follow him around. Any enemy that enters the red alert notification is assassinated by one the Assassins. After the target is killed, the Assassin responsible leaves. This continues until all Assassins have performed a kill
Dobby Carter New York North Lure: One available Assassin will Lure all guards in the vicinity of the target away, allowing free passage into areas that are heavily guarded.
Jamie Colley New York West Ambush: Use the circle on the ground when you activate the ability to place an ambush point for one Assassin. Any enemies that enter this circle will be assassinated
Jacob Zenger New York East Covert Escort: A group of available Assassins appears in British Uniforms and Escorts Connor through his locations by blending him. Once Connor breaks the group, all Assassins present engage in battle
Stephane Chaphreau Boston Central Stephane will be unlocked during the story and provides two abilities to start with.
Assassinate: The most basic of abilites, one Assassin = one dead marked target
Riot: One Assassin causes the crowd to Riot causing a diversion by taking all available enemies in the area away to deal with the Rioters

Fast Travel Network

The Fast Travel Network has returned for AC3, but they have made some changes. Instead of having to renovate a Fast Travel station by spending money to gain access to a new Fast Travel point, you know enter what is essentially a maze and have to solve puzzles to open the exits to the area. Both cities in the game have their own series of tunnels and exits that will make it faster to get throughout the town. Each exit is different and there are 3 different puzzles to solve to unlock the exits. The first is a simple lockpicking puzzle that you will have a tutorial for during the game. The second is a Latch puzzle in which you use the left and right sticks to turn the latches on the edge of the door. Once all the latches align facing inward the exit unlocks. The final puzzle is a Magic Lamp puzzle. A lamp illuminates on the doorway and you must put the proper symbols on the four markers to unlock the door. There is always a journal in the rooms to tell you what symbols go where, and I will give you the solutions below. Once each exit has been unlocked, you can Fast Travel to each on in town AND in the Underground to make finding new ones easier. The names of each exit can be seen by moving the cursor over each Fast Travel Station while you are underground. Also be sure to light the candles that are placed on the walls to light the tunnels making navigation easier.

Boston
  • Green Dragon Tavern:This will be unlocked during the main story of the game and will be used as a reference point for this walkthrough.
  • North Port:This will be unlocked during the main story of the game and will be used as a reference point for this walkthrough.
  • Old North Church:From the North Port, head straight into the tunnels in front of the exit. Head left at the first and second intersections. Now head right at the third and fourth intersections and you will find the exit.
  • Crown Coffee House:From the North Port, head left from the exit, then take another left at the first and second intersections. Follow the path and take a left at the third intersection and a right at the fourth. Finally take a left at the fifth intersection to find the exit and a Lamp Puzzle.
    • Magic Lamp Solution:
      • Top: Globe
      • Left: Cross
      • Right: Ship Steering Wheel
      • Bottom: Scales

  • Beacon Hill: From the Green Dragon Tavern, head to the left. At the next area, complete the gate puzzle by going through the hole below the gate and coming up on the other side to open the latch and continue. Follow the path and at the red wall, use a Powder keg to blow it up creating a quicker route to the Crown Coffee House exit, then proceed to the right. At the next intersection hang a right and continue to the next open area. Drop down the hole, and use the beams to proceed around the room to get on the other side of another Latch puzzle. Then proceed through the tunnels. From here it's a straight shot to the exit.
  • King's Chapel: From Crown Coffee House, Head straight until you get to the intersection from the wall you blew up and take a left. Now take your first left and then take out the guys in the open area and proceed through the tunnels. Take a right at the next intersection and you will find the exit.
  • Fort Hill: From King's Chapel, head to the right into the unexplored tunnels. Now take your first left, then take a right and you will be in a major intersection. We will call this Main Intersection A as several exits branch from here and I want a good reference point. If you look above the doors, they should all have signs saying what exit is down each path. Take a left to head towards Fort Hill. Take your first, second and third rights down this passageway and you will be in a large room. At the end of the walkway, is a locked gate. Climb the wall to your left, while jumping from side to side to avoid the water, and climb over the side of wall up top until you can drop down on the other side of the gate to unlatch it and continue. Now it's a straight shot to the exit.
  • South Commons: From King's Chapel, head back to Main Intersection A, then head through the door in the right that says South Common above it. In this next area, head into the tunnel below and climb back up on the other side of the gate to unlatch the gate and grab your lantern. Now place the Lantern in the elevator on the right side of the room and use the wheel to the right of it to move the lantern to the second level. now climb the wall up through the opening to the second level. Leave the lantern where it is and slide under the wall. Follow the course ahead of of you to get on the other side of the gate and unlatch it. Now grab your lantern and continue. After you have completed this puzzle, take the next right and then take out the interlopers in the next area. Continue until you get to a path that's boarded up with a hole in the middle of the boards. Shoot the Powder Keg through the hole and then turn right and follow the path through the blown up wall and then to the exit to find another Magic Lamp.
    • Magic Lamp Solution:
      • Top: Crown
      • Left: Feather
      • Right: Vitruvian Man
      • Bottom: Mason Symbol

  • East Fields: From King's Chapel, head back to Main Intersection A. Now head straight through the passageway to explore the tunnels you haven't entered yet. Take your first right, then take out the people below. Proceed down the tunnel and take another right and you will be in a room with an exit on the right and a door ahead of you on the other side of some water. Put down the lantern, and jump over the water to reach this exit.
  • Boston Gate: From East Fields, you should start back on the other side of the water, instead of by the door. Head to your right through the opening you haven't been in yet. Take a left at the first intersection, then take a right at the next one and you will end up in a room with a vagrant. Take him out and then take your next two lefts as you head down the passage and you will end up in a blocked passage. Shoot the keg on the other side of the boards to blow up the passage and reach the final exit.
    • Magic Lamp Solution:
      • Top: Mason Symbol
      • Left: Female Symbol
      • Right: Male Symbol
      • Bottom: Scales

New York
  • South Market Street: This will be the starting point for this Underground Network as it is the only exit available when you first enter the map.
  • Old Dutch Church: From South Market Street exit, take your first right, then take a left and at the next intersection go go right and take out the asshat in the next area. Proceed through the tunnel, and head straight through the nest intersection, then turn left at the one you arrive at just after that. Then proceed forward to a large intersection that will be referred to as Main Intersection B. Here you turn left and will find the exit.
  • Bowling Green: From Old Dutch Church, head to Main Intersection B, and take a left. Take your next left and follow the main path until you hit another intersection. Go straight through this intersection and you will find another asshat just begging to meet your tomahawk. Take him out, then continue through the tunnel and at the next intersection turn right and follow this path to the exit.
  • Brewery: From Old Dutch Church, head to Main Intersection B, then go straight into the unexplored tunnel. Turn left at the next intersection, then head straight through the one after that and you will be in a room with a left and right passageway. Go to the right and you will end up in a large room. In this room use the wooden beams to climb up to a higher path, grab the new lantern, and proceed. Take a left after leaving the large room and then use the Powder Kegs to blast open the exit to the Fast Travel Station.
  • North Dutch Church: From Old Dutch Church, head to Main Intersection B, then go straight into the unexplored tunnel. Turn left at the next intersection, then head straight through the one after that and you will be in a room with a left and right passageway. Go Left this time and then take your next left at the next intersection and you will will end up in a room with an asshat. Take him out and head into the tunnel. In this tunnel head left at the intersection and you will arrive at Main Intersection C. Take a right here and you will reach the exit.
    • Magic Lamp Solution:
      • Top: Pyramid with Eye Symbol
      • Left: Cross
      • Right: Scales
      • Bottom: Clown Head

  • City Hall: From North Dutch Church, head to Main Intersection C, then go straight into the unexplored tunnel. Follow this path until you reach a locked gate. Head to the left around the rocks and at the end of the tunnel put down your lantern and climb the wall. At the top of the wall, backjump over to the ledge, and head around the corner. Leap to the right to the other ledge then jump over the other side of the ledge you are hanging from. Backjump to the other wall, then climb down to the bottom. At the bottom, jump to the right over to the other wall, move to your left, and then climb up and backjump to get on top of the wall. Now you can drop down to get behind the door. Unlatch the door and grab your lantern and continue. At the next intersection turn left and then go straight through the next two intersections to reach the exit.
  • St. Paul's Chapel: From North Dutch Church, head to Main Intersection C, then go straight. Go through the now unlatched door and at the next intersection turn right into the unexplored tunnel. At the next intersection, turn right and you will be in a door with a locked gate. Climb the wall on your right, turn around and shoot the Powder Keg on the ledge across from you to reveal a hole in the wall. Climb through this and drop down to open the gate. Now you have a second gate to deal with. Climb the wall above the gate to reach a ledge above, then jump across to another ledge across from you. From here you can safely shoot the Powder Keg above the door and proceed through another hole to drop through. After recollecting your lantern, head down the passage to your right, then take your next right to reach the exit.
    • Magic Lamp Solution:
      • Top: Sun
      • Left: Male Symbol
      • Right: Mason Symbol
      • Bottom: Scales

  • Trinity Church: From North Dutch Church, head to Main Intersection C, then go straight. Go through the now unlatched door and at the next intersection turn right. At the next intersection, go straight and into an elevator/latched door puzzle. Use the wheel to lower the first walkway, then climb over and unlatch the gate. Then move your lantern to that area and put it down so you can see. Now jump over the second gate, and into the water on the other side. Climb out of the water, and use the wheel nearby to lower the second walkway allowing you to unlatch the door and grab your lantern and proceed to the exit.
    • Magic Lamp Solution:
      • Top: Pyramid with Eye Symbol
      • Left: Eagle
      • Right: Crown
      • Bottom: Mason Symbol

  • East Countryside: From North Dutch Church, head to Main Intersection C, then go right. Go straight through the next intersection and follow the long passageway until you reach a wall climb/waterfall puzzle. Once you have reached the top of the wall, drop back down and unlatch the gate and proceed through the tunnels. At the next mini intersection turn right, then take your next right. Take your next left and then head straight through the next intersection. At the final intersection take a left and you will find the exit.
  • Presbyterian Church: From East Countryside, head back through the tunnels until you reach the Mini Intersection, then take a right. Take your next left and then head straight through the next intersection. Head around the corner and you will end up at this exit.
  • West Countryside: From Presbyterian Church, turn left and head down the unexplored tunnel. Take a left at the first intersection and you will end up in a room with a couple asshats at the end of the passage. Take them out, then proceed through the tunnels. Go straight at the next intersection and you will end up in a room with the final exit for the Underground

Feathers

The Feathers have returned in AC3 and are just as easy as the they are in AC: R. The Feathers are ONLY located in the Frontier so you don't have to search everywhere for them. You can purchase a Feather Map for all 4 districts in the Frontier for £2500 a piece at the General Store This will unlock every Feather on the map. I'm not going to do a text write up on them as you can see them all. They are almost always up in trees, and if you head to your map, and place a waypoint marker on the Feather you are currently hunting you can follow the onscreen indicator directly to it. If you can't figure out how to get one of them stand near the tree it's in and follow the branches backwards until you find a way up to them, then free run to the Feather.

Treasure Chests

Treasure Chests have been in every single AC game. The only difference in this one is that they are required for a trophy. Some of the chests you find will be unlocked and some will be locked causing you to use your Elite Lockpicking Skills to break into the chest. Like the rest of the collectibles you can purchase all the maps for the Chests in all the available areas from the General Store for a total of £13,000. In the towns, the chests will almost always be guarded by a group of enemies, so you will need to take them down before picking the lock. Some of the chests only have a Guard Dog watching them, but if they see you, they will alert the enemies to your presence. In the Frontier, you will find some chests near buildings, but others will be in caves. If you reach a chest marker with a down pointing arrow, check around the area for a cave entrance to get down to the Chest.

Almanac Pages

All of Franklin's Journals have been scattered around Boston and New York. You will encounter a couple of these early on in the game, and they are a pain in the ass to catch, but I recommend waiting until later in the game to work on this. After Sequence 4 you can buy a Page Map from the General Store for £5000 which will unlock all the Page Locations on the map. For every 4 pages you collect, you will unlock one of Leonardo's Inventions for Crafting.

Peg Leg Trinkets

Peg Leg Trinkets are new to the series. There are 25 of these little gems spread throughout every area. much like the rest of the collectibles there is a Trinket Map available in the General Store for £3000 that will unlock all the Trinkets on the map. At certain intervals, you can turn these Trinkets in to Peg Leg who is located directly in front of the Pier for Aquila in Davenport Homestead and he will give you a letter from Captain Kidd which will unlock a Captain Kidd Side Mission. You must give him 24 of them to unlock all the missions and complete this set of missions, not sure the reason for the extra trinket. The Trinkets will always be found inside of a small box at the locations marked on the map.

Complete 50% of the Progress Tracker entries.

The DNA Tracker can be viewed by pressing the button and heading into the DNA Tracker tab. You will receive Tracker completion percentage for basically everything in the game. You should have no problem completing this trophy well before the end of the game without putting very much effort into it. As soon as your completion percentage for story mode hits 50% this trophy will unlock.

For a complete breakdown of what counts towards this trophy, please see the Completionist trophy above.

Spit Roast
Perform a double assassination using a musket.

You can find Muskets all over Boston and New York. You can either beat the crap out of some Redcoats and take one of their guns from them OR you can find a weapon rack, which are usually located near the ships on the pier and grab one. Once you have one, you need to get your status back to Incognito, you won't be able to do this with a high notoriety level or during battle. Once you are ready, walk around and find two Redcoats that are talking to each other, you shouldn't have a problem doing this as they are all over, especially by the docks. Walk up behind one of them and press the to perform a musket assassination that stabs the first Redcoat in the back. While the musket is stabbed into his back, press the to shoot the musket which will hit the Redcoat that was facing the one you are stabbing to kill both of them and unlock the trophy.

Circus Act
Kill 15 guards with a single cannon shot.

This trophy can only be unlocked during Sequence 10 - Memory 3: The Battle of Monmouth. This is the only part of the game where you are in control of a cannon. In this Memory, you will be controlling the cannon while keeping the advancing Redcoats from overtaking your position. The Redcoats will advance in Platoons of 8, so you must take out 2 Platoons with a single shot, The bad part is, they are spaced fairly well so it can be difficult to take out two full Platoons with one shot. It is easiest to do this right at the beginning of the battle, before the Platoons start advancing. Aim straight down the road, all the way to the back where they are all standing and fire off a cannonball and you should hit enough of them to unlock this on the first shot. There is some lag in the trophy BUT you have an optional requirement of taking out 2 Platoons with a single shot. So if this turns blue saying you completed the objective, the trophy will unlock a few seconds after. If not, you can reload and try again, or continue trying to get it before the battle is over..

The Rope Dart is a blade attached to the end of a rope that can be used to hang enemies or to pull them towards you. There are 5 different attacks that can be performed with a Rope Dart but the one you need to focus on for this trophy is the Predator Move. To perform a Predator Move, make sure that Rope Darts are your active secondary weapon, then climb up into a tree near some Redcoats. Now get one of them highlighted, and press the to hit them with the Rope Dart. Once you have hit them, press the left stick away from the target, to drop out of the tree hanging your enemy in the tree for the Predator Kill. Complete this 5 times and this trophy will unlock.

Prince of Thieves
Loot a convoy without killing any of its guards.

Convoys will appear on the Frontier near the end of the game. I'm not sure exactly how early in the game they start appearing, but I personally didn't see any until I was very late in the game. When you get in range of a Convoy, you will get an onscreen prompt to take out the Convoy. they can appear anywhere in the frontier, but they will always be on the MAIN roads. I've often found them near the villages and the Forts. Once you find a Convoy, it will always be a restricted area around the Convoy, so don't go roaming over there with some delusion that you are going to casually sneak in and take people out. This being said, this trophy is very easy as long as you don't overthink it. Simply switch to your fists, and use Counter - Takedowns , to take out the entire escort. Don't use Counter - Disarms , as these will disarm and kill the enemy with their own weapons the majority of the time to take them out. As long as you take them all out with your fists, the trophy will unlock after you loot the convoy of its goods.

Block a firing line 5 times by using a human shield.

You will first be introduced to avoiding Firing Lines in Sequence 2 - Memory 5: Infiltrating South Gate. Whenever you see a yellow triangle over the head of one of the Redcoats, it means they are about to fire a Musket or Pistol at you. When you see this press the when you are standing near any enemy and Connor will grab them and use them as a human shield to block the incoming fire. This works on all guards except the grenadiers, who just punch you aside when you try, and then you get shot. You CAN reload the checkpoint after the tutorial and keep repeating it until you get the trophy, BUT with all the objectives you must to to get the Completionist trophy, you will more than likely finish this just through normal gameplay. As soon as you finish 5 firing line blocks with an enemy as a shield the trophy will unlock.

Jagers, are the elite forces of both the British and apparently the US troops in the game. The Jagers will not appear until you have reached Notoriety Level 3, and then they will be out in full force to bring your ass to justice. They always have a sword and will very cleverly also throw Bombs at you.... damn Jagerbombers . To complete this trophy, simply raise your notoriety, then beat some Jager ass. They have to be taken down with a Counter - Disarm , followed immediately by pressing to combo them to death. if you wait too long on the combo after the disarm, they will counter you and reacquire their weapons. I recommend disarming them while using your fists, to work on the Challenge for killing them with their own weapons at the same time. You must take out 10 of them WITHOUT LOSING YOUR NOTORIETY OR DESYNCHING to acquire this trophy.

Have a Trainee reach the Assassin Rank.

The Assassin Brotherhood is back in AC3. You must recruit all 6 Assassin's into your guild by completing all the Liberation missions for the Completionist trophy. ONCE EACH STATE TURNS BLUE, new missions will still get added even though its Liberated, so remember to always check back to see whats available. .

Although you have to upgrade all 6 Assassins to the Assassin rank for the Completionist trophy, you only have to upgrade 1 to this rank for this trophy. Each level you acquire for your assassins will unlock new attacks for them to use in combat as well. Below is a breakdown of the levels and what it unlocks.

Exchange undamaged pelts at all different general stores.

There are a total of 9 General Stores in the game. The Stores won't appear on your map until you actually go into one of them or get right in front of the door. There are 3 in Boston, 3 in the Frontier and 3 in New York. For this trophy you will need to visit all 9 stores and sell at least one Pelt from Connor's inventory at each one that is in undamaged condition. An undamaged pelt can only be obtained by killing a wild animal with a bladed weapon such as your hidden blade or your tomahawk OR by catching a small animal in a Snare Trap. Once they have been killed, skin them and obtain your pelt. If you use a pistol, you wont get an undamaged Pelt.

Boston General Stores
  1. This one is located in Central Boston, near the Crown Coffee Entrance Fast Travel Station. You will encounter this during the main story playing as Haytham.
  2. The second is located in North Boston, north of the Old North Church Fast Travel Station.
  3. The Final store is located in South Boston. Head to the East Fields Fast Travel Station, which is located by the waterfront near the border of South and Central Boston, Once you are there, head to your map and zoom in. Now head to the left with the cursor until you hit the second street At this street, follow the street up until a street connects to it from the right side. Place your marker here and run over there to find the store.

Frontier General Stores
  1. Head to the Harbor at the Frontier. Now go to your map and zoom in. Go north with the cursor and you will see a river. Follow this river up until you see a road cross over it. The store is on this road, in the buildings to the left of the bridge that crosses the river.
  2. For the next one, head to your map and head to the Hunting Regions section, which is the top Icon. Find the Concord Hunting area in the middle of the map, now find where Concord, Diamond Basin and Valley Forge all meet. The store is in the Concord area, just to the right of where those two Hunting areas meet together with Concord, in the buildings there.
  3. The Final store is located in the Lexington Hunting area. It is almost right in the middle in the upper half of the section, to the left of a Tavern

New York General Stores
  1. The first store is located directly south of the South Market Fast travel Station, in the Southern portion of the East District
  2. From the last store, head into your map and zoom in. now head north and you will immediately see an intersection. Take the path that heads North on the left side and follow this road until the road opens up into a square. The next store is on the right hand side of the entrance to this square.
  3. Now head back to the first store and follow the road that leads north on the right side. At the second to last intersection before the road heads out into the countryside you can find the final store

Abstergo Entertainment
Reach level 20 in the multiplayer mode.

AC3, much like Revelations, only requires you to get to level 20 to finish off the online mode of the game and doesn't force you to grind it out to level 50. I recommend playing either Manhunt or Wanted MP maps for your online grind, as this seems to be the most efficient way of gaining EXP. If you are playing Manhunt remember the score that it shows is your total team combined score not your individual score! So if you see your team getting 9,000 don't get excited and think that you are getting 9,000 exp points. You will only get what you have contributed to the score. So if the 4 of you COMBINED have 9,000, but you have only contributed 1,000 exp points, that's all you will get credit credit for in exp points.

Now that being said, don't be one of these n00bs you see running all over the map non-stop. They may get more kills than you, but odds are they are only getting 100-200 points per kill. Take your time and be strategic and get a higher exp point amount per kill. Make sure you pay attention to your perks and abilities you will unlock as you progress in level and equip the streak bonuses to gain more exp.

To get to level 20, you will need 127,300 experience points. A decent average is about 3,000 per game and each game takes 10 minutes. At 3,000 per game it will take you about 7-8 hours to get to level 20. At the end of each game it will show your progression and on your main MP menu if you go press the or to get to the Progression tab, you can see where you are at and what you need for each level and the unlockables per level.

Self Boosting on Wolfpack
Sounds strange right? Well with a small investment you can actually boost this trophy to level 20 playing by yourself. With the addition of Erudito Credits you can purchase some Abilities early in the game that you would normally have to wait until you are at a much higher level to unlock. First thing you must do is purchase enough credits to be able to unlock Poison and Smoke Bomb, These will make getting higher kill scores easier and thus getting farther into the game. Now unlock a Kill Streak modifier to get extra bonuses. I prefer the Silent Streak Bonus as it gives you +250 for every 3 silent kills in a row you make, which are very easy in this game mode. Now that you have your abilities, start up a Wolfpack game by yourself. Don't be afraid to sprint around in this mode, as it isn't with a bunch of people. Use the sprint to get near your opponent, then approach slowly. I recommend always trying to go for the Hidden, and Focus bonuses on every single kill and use your Poison ability every time you can to get an added bonus. Once you get up to Sequence 7, you will start getting multiple enemies in the same vicinity. This is what the Smoke Bombs are for, when you get close, drop a Smoke Bomb to disorient both the targets, allowing for an easy Multi Kill, without the other enemy getting a chance to Stun you. The higher level you can get, the more points you can get. I was able to finish all 25 levels playing by myself with proper use of these abilities and received 12,000 EXP points. only took about 20ish minutes to finish all 25 levels, so it is very effective if you are good at it and don't feel like trying to play with a bunch of asshats that are sprinting around all over the map.

Multiplayer Tips and Strategies from Assassin Trainee JackAttack
The Assassin's Creed III multiplayer experience is exceptional, but difficult and harsh to newer players who lack experience either with stealth games or previous Assassin's Creed multiplayer outings. This (somewhat) brief guide is directed at players who have troubles getting into the multiplayer and doing well, covering the basics of how to succeed and become a Master Assassin.

Progression:
Firstly, it's imperative that you progress with a conservative mindset in terms of how you spend your earned credits. While they are an infinite resource, saving up from the get-go will allow you to distribute credits when needed.

While it may be tempting to buy up on costumes, new weapons, and the like to customize your character's aesthetics, it is not recommended to do so until reaching level 25. In addition, no new abilities should be bought until level 22. This will make these first few levels very difficult and you will not likely do exceedingly well. If you'd like to speed up the process without having to worry about doing poorly in a competitive environment, you can use Davey's aforementioned Wolfpack self-boosting method to boost levels.

Upon reaching levels 22 and 24, purchase Smoke Bombs and Poison respectively. If you'd like to further your utilities, you can also buy a new ranged weapon or two, and outfit yourself with better kill streaks, loss bonuses, and perks. Smoke Bombs and Poison are the two most recommended abilities I can offer you, and should be used indefinitely. More cunning assassins can choose other abilities such as Decoy if they want an extra challenge.

Offense:
Assassin's Creed III's multiplayer is all about keeping a low profile as you assassinate your targets, and you're rewarded with significantly more points for pulling off higher quality, stealthy kills. There are multiple ways to rack up a high kill score, all of which revolve around achieving different bonuses.

A meter on your HUD will show what kind of profile you're currently in. Keeping your target in your line of sight while keeping a low profile increases the meter from Discreet, to Silent, to Incognito. A discreet kill gives an added 150 points, a Silent kill grants 250 additional points, and the best of 'em all, an Incognito kill gives an added 350 points to your kill score. Whenever possible, go for the highest score possible by remaining in low profile. Running will reveal your presence to your target and will also give you the poor Reckless bonus, which grants a mere 50 extra points.

Other bonuses that you can rack up include Focus, Hidden, and ability-specific ones. It's possible to get well over 1,000 points in a single kill by combining multiple bonuses together, which can easily increase your lead or bring you into a position to further strike.

As an example, I often use the strategy of staying hidden within a stationary group as my target lurks towards me. When he gets nearby, I drop a smoke bomb, wait for the Focus and Incognito bonuses, and then Poison him. The kill will achieve over 1,000 points every time.

Additionally, it's highly recommended to go for Variety points. Every different bonus you do in a match grants a variety bonus, which triggers when you do 5, 10, and 15 different actions for an extra 200, 400, and 600 points respectively. It may be worth it to go for one Reckless kill in order to get a variety bonus that grants you an extra 400 points on that kill. Racking up these can give you the slim advantage you need in the match leaderboard.

Defense:
Balancing going out to hunt your target while also needing to play defensively is difficult, though when in doubt it's better to go for an offensive kill than it is to attempt to play defensively against a pursuer. Playing defensively is all about outsmarting your pursuer by keeping a low profile and surrounding yourself with duplicate AIs that look like you. It's highly suggested that the Blender perk is always kept on once purchasable so that you can always create a duplicate of yourself whenever you blend in with groups.

The only way to effectively get rid of a pursuer is to stun him, which is done by clicking the square button as he gets into range. If you truly beat him to the button press, it will result in a stun that grants you 200 points. If you press the square button at the same time as your pursuer, the tie will always be in favor of the pursuer, but you will get 100 Contested Kill points for your efforts, and also reduce his kill score. Always go for stuns whenever you are able to locate your pursuer as it's the only form of defense you have.

Smoke Bombs are the ultimate defensive aid. While they also have offensive uses, Smoke Bombs are primarily a defensive item that can be used to momentarily stop your pursuer as he gets nearby. If he attempts to attack as you throw down your Smoke Bomb, you will instead dodge the assassination attempt, allowing you an easy stun. It's also possible to throw the Smoke Bomb from afar by holding down the respective ability button, allowing you stop your pursuer in his tracks before he even gets close enough for a chance at a kill.

While an obvious oxymoron, the best way to be on the defensive is to be cautious, but at the same time aggressive. Use blend groups to stay inconspicuous and to fool pursuers, but when you see a chance to stun, never pass it up. Ambushing pursuers as they turn corners for easy stuns as you catch them off guard is a great tactic.

Hopefully this short multiplayer guide has helped those in need of some quick tips. The Assassin's Creed III multiplayer experience is incredibly deep and a ton of fun, especially when you become a master of the multiplayer gameplay.

Hunter/Killer
Reach sequence 10 in a map on Wolfpack multiplayer mode.

Wolfpack Mode is a new mode that was added to Aassassin's Creed online mode in the game. The object in this is to score enough points, to get to the next Sequence before the timer runs out. For this trophy you need to reach Sequence 10 in one session. I'm not going to too in depth on this as Master Assassin ONUOsFan has given us his expert tips for this trophy

One thing to note, that isn't in the walkthrough below is that you CAN play this mode by yourself, and it's very easy to reach Sequence 10 even alone.

Expert Wolfpack Tips from Master Assassin ONUOsFan
Wolfpack is the cooperative multiplayer mode introduced for the first time in Assassin's Creed III, in which you work with a team of 2-4 players to take down groups of enemies, earning points based on both the quality of your kills and the coordination of your team. The enemies you're going after are all NPC's, so if you don't like playing against idiot roof-runners in the competitive MP, this is the mode for you, since all of the MP trophies in this game except for Winning Team can be earned here.

At the start of each sequence, each person on the team will be assigned a target to kill. Sometimes all of your team's targets are together in one place and look the same, and other times they are different personas scattered around the map. You want to use your compass to find your target as quickly as possible, and if targets are grouped together you need to communicate with your teammates to make sure you are not targeting the same enemy. The target picture at the top right of the screen is also helpful for this, since it will show a blue triangle for each teammate who is assigned that target. If there is more than one triangle, you and your teammates are going after the same person. You can press or on the D-pad to switch to another target.

Once you are each in position to kill your target, you want to kill them all at the same time, or as close to it as possible, because you get multipliers when your kills are close together. Get high-scoring kills if you can by using focus bonuses, killing while hidden, etc, but your main focus needs to be on keeping the multiplier up.

Simple enough, right? But here's where it gets tricky: you're on a timer. You need to get a certain amount of points as a team to move on to the next round before your time runs out or the game will end. Each time you get to a new round some time is added to your clock, but if you don't move quickly enough your time will run out. Additionally, the point totals needed to finish each round increase as you progress, and the enemies get progressively more intelligent and start using powers like smoke bomb and bodyguard against you.

There are also random NPC's that will pop up during the game and that will give you bonus time for killing them. These are easy to spot because they have a timer icon over their head, along with the amount of bonus time you'll get for killing them.

One final part of this mode is the sync-kill round. These will pop up a few times during the game and will award you with massive amounts of points if you do them right. To successfully perform a sync kill, you need to get your whole team to the target group (they will all be standing around together), and have each teammate press to lock onto a DIFFERENT enemy. If you lock onto the same one, it won't work, and if anyone kills an enemy or the enemies notice you before you all get locked on, you'll fail the sync. Once every teammate is locked onto a different enemy, the game will go into slow motion and you'll see a little meter at the top of your screen that quickly counts down, and you'll need to quickly press before that meter runs out. If you do, you'll get to watch a fun little cutscene where your team takes out all of the opposition in a fancy synchronized kill.

All that being said, getting to level 10 in Wolfpack to earn this trophy is exceedingly easy since you can do it on any difficulty level. As long as you play with others who are willing to take their time and coordinate, you'll knock it out in no time. The added bonus is that you can earn a ton of XP in Wolfpack - once you get to the point that you can get to level 25 consistently, you can earn around 15,000 XP in one 30 minute game.

Winning Team
Be on the winning team at the end of a multiplayer game session.

There are three Team Based Game Modes on AC3. There isn't a lot of strategy I can give you on this one as it mainly comes down to how your team plays. I do recommend playing Manhunt as it is generally the more popular game and will have more traffic and opportunities to get into games quickly. Simply be on the winning side of any of the three games listed below and the trophy will unlock at the end of the game. That being said, if you can get on a good team for Artefact Assault I think its an easier game to win.
  • Manhunt: In this game mode you, and your team both take turns as the Hunters and the Hunted. When you are playing as the Hunted you can earn bonus points for Blending with one or more of your teammates continuously. Using abilities to create look a likes can also help out greatly in this game mode especially during blending. When you are on the offensive, it is generally better to roam around with a team mate, that way if one of you kills a civilian or gets stunned, the other assassin can take out the target.
  • Artefact Assault: This is essentially capture the flag. Have two players as the runners, and the remaining two teammates, if you have them play as defense. The runners will take turns grabbing the Artefact and running it back to base creating a continuous relay of scoring for your team.
  • Domination: To win Domination you need to capture waypoints, and then hold those waypoints as you try and take new ones. This can be most irritating as the enemy team can take back the waypoints and isn't a game I recommend for this.

The ability to customize my character didn't unlock for me until I had finished 2/3 Training Simulations. It might be that it was unlocked at Level 6 as that's what level I was when it became available, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with your completion of the Training Simulations. On the main menu, press either the or to get to the Customization tab. From here customize your Emblem, Title and Avatar and the Trophy will unlock. Unlock a hacked version of one of the Abstergo videos in the story quest.

There are three Hacked versions of videos that can be unlocked before and just after you hit the trophy for level 20. Each of them requires you to finish certain challenges within the game to unlock the video. Once you have unlocked the video the trophy will unlock, even if you are in the game. I personally recommend going for the first Hacked Video as it seems to be the easiest to unlock of the group and you can farm the requirements simply by playing Wolfpack Mode until Sequence 8 and then losing and waiting for the next match to start, but you can unlock any of these below for the trophy.

Abstergo Dev Diary 1_Hack
  • Unlocks at Level 1
  • Challenge: The Enduring - 25 Multi Kills
  • Challenge: Bird of Prey - 20 Aerial Kills

Clean Future_Hack
  • Unlocks at Level 11
  • Challenge: The Conquistador - Take over a zone occupied with at least 2 opponents 5 times
  • Challenge: Silent Master - Receive a Focus Bonus

Abstergo Dev Diary 2_Hack
  • Unlocks at Level 21
  • Challenge: The Sagacious - Stun and Kill two different enemies with 7 seconds 10 times
  • Challenge: The Cleaner - Use wipe and kill a target or stun a pursuer 5 times
  • Challenge: The Unseen - Receive a Hidden Kill Bonus
