[top]Tips & Strategies

  • The trophies in this guide are listed in XMB order.
  • You can boost all of these trophies in private matches.
  • SirDrRoger confirms that you can earn these trophies even if your competitor(s) (or boosting partner(s)) do not have the DLC.

[top]Cheats, Glitches, & Exploits

While you're welcome to attempt all of these trophies in public, competitive matches, they can all be boosted in private matches. While you can have more people involved, you only need a minimum of two players for all trophies except for The Vulture, for which you need a minimum of three players. See the trophy descriptions below for more information.

Some people have reported minor frustration with getting Pirate's Bravery to pop in Wanted. Two things here: first, your bodyguard must actually stun your pursuer, and second, if this doesn't pop, switch to another mode like Manhunt or Steal the Artifact.

Some people have reported that The Juggernaut won't pop unless they get three Charge kills in the same match. While this wasn't the case for me, it may be for you. If you're having a hard time getting it to pop, try to get three Charge kills in one match, and just boost it if you have to.

[top]Roadmap

If you haven't yet, go to the PSN Store to purchase and download the Multiplayer Characters Pack Add-On content. The DLC is a small and fast download and install. Once the install completes, just fire up the the game, get into the Multiplayer section, and notice that four new characters have unlocked.

If you haven't already, go into the Abstergo Store (or one of your non-default Abilities Sets) and purchase Bodyguard, Hidden Gun, and Charge. NOTE: You will need to be MP level 15 or higher to purchase Bodyguard, 17 or higher to purchase Hidden Gun, and 20 or higher to purchase Charge. Purchase these abilities and assign them to abilities sets. Next, familiarize yourself with the appearances of the four new characters.

Once you're all set, attack the four trophies below in any fashion you see fit. The Vulture is the most difficult trophy to obtain, but even as such, it is still a piece of cake to boost in a private match, provided you have a minimum total of three players.

Stopped Dead
Obtain 3 Hidden Gun kills during a session of Steal The Artifact as The Corsair (Multiplayer).

This trophy can be boosted in private matches.

You must be level 17 to unlock the Hidden Gun. Once you are level 17, buy the Hidden Gun in the Abstergo Store or in one of your non-default Abilities Sets, then assign it to an ability set.

Get into a Steal the Artifact Match, use the Corsair (shown in the spoiler below) as your avatar, and select an abilities set that provides the Hidden Gun. Wait for an opponent to pick up the artifact, making them a target on your compass. Track them down and lock them with . Then hold either or (whichever button your Hidden Gun is assigned to) until your character successfully aims at your opponent, then release the trigger to fire and kill them. Do this three times in one match to pop this trophy.

Steal the Artifact matches last for ten minutes and require a minimum of four people to start a public, competitive match. If you want to boost in a private match, you will only need a total of two people. If you're boosting this trophy, just have your opponent meet you in a mutually agreed upon location after they nab the artifact, then shoot them. Rinse and repeat until this trophy pops.

The Vulture
Obtain 5 Ground Finish bonuses in Manhunt during a session as The Brigand (Multiplayer).

This trophy can be boosted in private matches.

Earn a Ground Finish bonus by running up and kicking your target right after another Templar kills them. When another Templar kills your contract before you do, you have about six seconds to get to the scene of the crime and hit to earn a 50pt Ground Finish bonus.

In public, competitive matches of Manhunt, a good strategy is to get your contract in sight, then play it cool and stay defensive until someone else kills them. Then run in and claim your 50pt "oh so close" prize. In Manhunt, you play as a hunter for five minutes and a target for five minutes, so you will only have five minutes on "offense" to get your five Ground Finish bonuses, which is not a lot of time, so move fast.

To boost in a private match, you need a total of three people since you will need to follow your teammate around and have them kill the opponent so you can earn your Ground Finish bonus.

Whichever strategy you choose, make sure to select The Brigand (shown below) as your avatar and work fast to get five of these bonuses in one Manhunt session to pop this trophy.

Pirate's Bravery
Use the Bodyguard against your pursuer as The Privateer (Multiplayer).

This trophy can be boosted in private matches.

You must be level 15 to unlock the Bodyguard. Once you are level 15, buy the Bodyguard in the Abstergo Store or in one of your non-default Abilities Sets, then assign it to an ability set.

Any time someone is trying to kill you, they are your pursuer. So if there are contracts on you in a Wanted match, or if it's your turn to hide/evade in Manhunt, or if you are carrying the artifact in Steal the Artifact, then you have a pursuer, and maybe a few of them.

Play as the Privateer (shown below) and start a match, being sure to pick an ability set that offers the Bodyguard. In a public, competitive match, stand in a blend group (group of NPCs) and listen for the whispers to know your pursuer is near. Watch behind you to see if they are behaving rashly and are identified by the game as being notorious, making them easy to spot. When they approach, or even a little before, hit or (whichever button Bodyguard is assigned to) to deploy a makeshift buddy to take out your pursuer. Do this just a single time to pop this trophy.

Some people have reported minor frustration with getting Pirate's Bravery to pop in Wanted. Two things here: first, your bodyguard must actually stun your pursuer, and second, if this doesn't pop, switch to another mode like Manhunt or Steal the Artifact.

If you're playing in a private match, start Manhunt and when it's your turn to hide/evade, meet your buddies in a mutually agreed upon location, then launch a bodyguard at them to take them out.

The Juggernaut
Perform 3 kills using the Charge as The Gladiator (Multiplayer).

This trophy can be boosted in private matches and you can even earn this trophy by yourself in the Training Ground.

You must be level 20 to unlock Charge. Once you are level 20, buy Charge in the Abstergo Store or in one of your non-default Abilities Sets, then assign it to an ability set.

You do not have to earn three Charge kills in the same session; your Charge kills are cumulative over your entire online career.

Start up a match and play as the Gladiator (shown below). Be sure to choose an ability set that offers Charge. When you are the Hunter, identify your targets and get near them, then hit or (whichever button Charge is assigned to) to kill them. Kill a contract with Charge three times to pop this trophy.

If you want to play in a private match, just meet your buddies in a mutually agreed upon location and, when you're the hunter, kill them. Rinse and repeat until this trophy pops.
