[top]Tips & Strategies
- The trophies in this guide are listed in XMB order.
- Trophies do not unlock if you are only playing the trial version. You must buy the full version, including the unlock code, and have it installed in order to earn trophies.
- You can boost all of these trophies in private matches. To find the new maps, pick "Private on Extra Content Maps" from the Simulation Category option in your Custom Match settings. Note that your partners all need to have this DLC installed for you to all play on the new maps.
[top]Cheats, Glitches, & Exploits
While you're welcome to attempt all of these trophies in public, competitive matches, they can all be boosted in private matches. While you can have more people involved, you only need a minimum of two players for all trophies except for
Restrained Violence, for which you need a minimum of three players and
Carnival, for which you need four. See the trophy descriptions below for more information.

If you haven't yet, go to the PSN Store to purchase and download the Multiplayer Pap Pack Add-On content. The DLC is 750mb download and install. Once the install completes, just fire up the the game, get into the Multiplayer section, select Custom Match, and notice the new categories: "Extra Content Maps" and "Private on Extra Content Maps". This is where you can go to get access to the new maps.
Once you're all set, attack the six trophies below in any fashion you see fit.
Carnival is the most difficult trophy to obtain because it's tough to find a Wanted match in Siena, but even as such, it is still a piece of cake to boost in a private match, provided you have a minimum total of four players.

Carnival
Stay blended for 3 minutes during a Wanted session in Siena (Multiplayer).

Stay blended for 3 minutes during a Wanted session in Siena (Multiplayer).
You can boost this trophy in a private match. You need a minimum of 4 players for Private Wanted.
To blend, find a group of stationary or mobile NPCs and notice the silvery shadow on the ground where they stand/walk. Get into that silvery shadow and notice your character's outline turns a similar color as a peculiar sound plays. You are now blended. Note that hiding in leaf piles, haystacks, and bushes does not count.
You do not have to be blended for three consecutive minutes, just three minutes total for the session to pop this trophy.
Getting into a match took me quite a while for some reason. It seems like, when the servers assemble a new player group, you start with Dyers each time. That doesn't make much sense, but that's what seemed to be happening. So what you can do, if you don't have three others to boost with in a Private match, is just get into any Wanted match you can, then hope that Wanted - Siena is one of the candidates you can vote for at the end of the match.
If you're going to boost this trophy in a private match, get three other people and host a Custom Match. Choose Private On Extra Content Maps as the category, Wanted as the Mode, and Siena as the map. Just get in a blend group and stay there until this trophy pops.

Wild Rage
Perform 3 Stuns without dying in Jerusalem (Multiplayer).

Perform 3 Stuns without dying in Jerusalem (Multiplayer).
You can boost this trophy in a private match.
To stun, tap the
button near your pursuer, particularly when you're close enough that the
icon appears above their head.
Getting three consecutive stuns without dying in a public match can be a challenge, but you can use abilities like Smoke Bomb, Charge, and Mute defensively to make it easier. Advanced players won't have much difficulty here.
If you're boosting this in a private match, you only need a total of 2 players. Start a Manhunt match, be sure to pick Jerusalem from the "Private on Extra Content Maps" Simulation Category, and punch each other in the face, without killing, until this trophy pops.

Restrained Violence
Obtain 5 Kill Assist bonuses during a session of any Team Mode in Dyers (Multiplayer).

Obtain 5 Kill Assist bonuses during a session of any Team Mode in Dyers (Multiplayer).
You can boost this trophy in a private match.
Team Modes include Manhunt, Artifact Assault, Chest Capture, and Escort.
To get a Kill Assist bonus, you need to lock a target that one of your teammates then kills. To lock, hold
and point your crosshair at your target. When the unlocked icon appears above their head, release
. Also, watch for high-profile or reckless targets, whom the game identifies for you by showing the unlocked icon and the
icon above their head. When that happens, just tap
to get an easy, instant lock on your target. Keep the lock on long enough (keep them in your line of sight) for a teammate to get in and kill them, and you'll earn the Kill Assist bonus.
If your teammate locks a target and you kill them, this also counts as an assist bonus. So if you have one partner and you work together five times to bring down your target, you will both earn this trophy.
5 Kill Assist bonuses sounds pretty high and if you only have a few players on each team, you will need to work fast. If you have large teams, this gets a little easier.

Straw Hat
Perform 2 kills from haystacks during a session in San Donato (Multiplayer).

Perform 2 kills from haystacks during a session in San Donato (Multiplayer).
You can boost this trophy in a private match.
Killing from a haystack is quite simple. Just hop into a haystack, leaf pile, or bush, then kill your target. You will hit your target more reliably if you make good use of the lock (
) feature. Also note that you can kill your target even when they're pretty far away from the haystack. Look for the
icon to appear above their head. This lets you know they're close enough to be killed.
If you're boosting this in a private match, you only need a total of 2 players. Start a Manhunt match, be sure to pick San Donato from the "Private on Extra Content Maps" Simulation Category. As the hunter, get in the same area of the map and find a haystack, leaf pile, or bush, and hop in. Have your partner stand close, then kill him. Do this twice to pop this trophy.

The Spice of Life
Obtain 2 Variety bonuses during a session in Firenze (Multiplayer).

Obtain 2 Variety bonuses during a session in Firenze (Multiplayer).
You can boost this trophy in a private match.
Two Variety bonuses in one session implies Variety and Greater Variety. To pop Variety and Greater Variety, you must earn five and ten unique bonuses, respectively. Kill, Contested Kill, Honorable Death, Aerial Kill, Variety, and Greater Variety themselves do not count as bonuses.
This will be easier in a team mode as there are quite a few more bonuses you can earn than in Free for All mode. In particular, if you play Simple Deathmatch, there are only 16 bonuses that you can earn, and if you play Training Ground by yourself, there are only 8. Do not fret as earning Greater Variety is pretty easy, and it's much easier this go-round than it was in AC: Brotherhood.
Again Kill, Contested Kill, Honorable Death, Aerial Kill, and the Variety bonuses themselves do not count.
If you're boosting this in a private match, you only need a total of 2 players. Start a Manhunt match and be sure to pick Florence (Firenze) from the "Private on Extra Content Maps" Simulation Category. While hunting, make sure to earn Reckless, Discreet, Silent, and Incognito, plus Acrobatic Kill, Grab Kill, Hidden Kill, and Focus. If you have it, use Poison. Then while hiding, get Stun and that makes 10 bonuses, giving you Greater Variety and this trophy.
superT offers tips for earning this trophy in Training Ground:
Note that Aerial seems to count in Training Ground. It does not however count in Simple Deathmatch.

Toggle Spoiler
I made an ability set with poison and animus hack as a perk.
Then i got these bonuses.
1.focus
2.silent
3.incognito
4.discreet
5.reckless
6.hidden kill
7.aerial kill
8.acrobatic kill
9.poison
10.animus hack(because my kill counter has reached 9 i can kill a target using animus hack from a distance)
So 10 bonuses and 2 variety bonuses with only 1 player (self) in the training ground with the right map.
Note that Aerial seems to count in Training Ground. It does not however count in Simple Deathmatch.

Up and Down
Perform 5 Leaps of Faith during a session of Assassinate in Imperial District (Multiplayer).

Perform 5 Leaps of Faith during a session of Assassinate in Imperial District (Multiplayer).
You can boost this trophy in a private match.
Performing a Leap of Faith is as simple as climbing onto a semi-tall or tall structure and diving off into a haystack or leaf pile, accompanied by a swan dive reenactment to the tune of an Eagle's cry. Basically, look for a haystack or leaf pile, climb the nearest structure, and dive off, landing in the haystack or leaf pile.
The swan dive animation is not a requirement for a Leap of Faith to count, though. In fact, you can find a leaf pile with a short wall next to it and just hop from the wall into the leaf pile five times to earn this trophy.
Running around the map climbing up and diving off buildings is a terrible strategy for scoring well, but at least you can get this trophy by playing like an idiot.
If you're boosting this trophy in a private match, get a partner, choose Imperial as the map from the "Private on Extra Content Maps" category, and set the mode to Assassinate. Just jump off of something and land in a haystack, leaf pile, or bush to pop this trophy.
