Roadmap
The order in which you should obtain the trophies
The order in which you should obtain the trophies
Below is an outline of the order in which I think you should go about obtaining all the trophies in this game. It is not vital that you follow the roadmap in it's entirety, as a game like this does not require you to do things in a certain order. Depending on your skill in the FPS genre, you may choose to do it in a completely different sequence. It is possible to combine steps 1 and 2, and you may wish to do so if you believe you can achieve all of the things outlined below in a single playthrough.
That being said, this is the route I believe you should take in order to achieve the platinum trophy in the easiest way and in the shortest amount of time:

That being said, this is the route I believe you should take in order to achieve the platinum trophy in the easiest way and in the shortest amount of time:
.
- 1) Complete the game on Very Hard.
This step is for you to familiarise yourself to the levels, sequences and objectives, as well as getting this difficult trophy out of the way. This may seem strange to recommend playing on the highest difficulty first, but then once you have beaten the game on this difficulty, you will be closer to achieving the platinum trophy.
. - 2) Complete the game on Very Easy.
In this playthough you will be focused on acquiring all the collectibles (Newsbots and Electroflies), and earning the story based trophies which don't come through natural progression. These will involve you achieving certain optional objectives whilst playing the game, and due to their sometimes challenging nature, you should earn these whilst playing on this lower difficulty level. You should also focus on performing all of the 131 possible Skillshots in the game, tracking your progress using the select menu.
. - 3) Earn the Anarchy and Echo multiplayer trophies.
After completing the story trophies, you should work on the multiplayer trophies in the game. I would recommend doing both of these together, and not focusing on one at a time. Good luck, this could prove to be a challenge, but once you have completed these, you will almost be finished.
. - 4) Collect all the remaining trophies.
You may be left with a few miscellaneous trophies, refer to the trophy guide to understand how to unlock these remaining few trophies, and then you will unlock your well deserved platinum.

Tips on how to acquire all the trophies in Bulletstorm
- The trophies are listed in XMB order.
- The difficulty based trophies DO stack, therefore you will unlock all lower difficulty trophies for completing it on the highest level of difficulty.
- You can "reload last checkpoint" to retry the optional campaign trophies if you fail to earn them the first time around.

Destructive Beat
Complete the Campaign on Very Easy or Easy Difficulty

Complete the Campaign on Very Easy or Easy Difficulty
In order to unlock this trophy, you need to complete the campaign on Very Easy or Easy difficulty. You shouldn't find this level of difficulty too pressing so don't worry about being over cautious.
Please read the tips and comments I have provided in the description for Blood Symphony
if you are finding this difficulty really hard, or need general advice on how to successfully complete the campaign.

Violent Melody
Complete the Campaign on Normal Difficulty

Complete the Campaign on Normal Difficulty
To acquire this trophy, you must complete the campaign on Normal difficulty. At this level, you shouldn't really be challenged beyond your capabilities, and there are only certain areas of the game which you may find testing. I wouldn't recommend playing on this difficulty level if you are somebody who thinks they are a skilled gamer, as you won't be presented with a hard enough challenge, and you could instead spend your time playing on a higher difficulty.

Complete the Campaign on Hard Difficulty

Complete the Campaign on Hard Difficulty
In order to unlock this trophy, you need to complete the campaign on Hard difficulty. This level of difficulty could present you with a challenge, and you may struggle with certain sections of the game. That being said, you shouldn't find it too difficult at this level.

Blood Symphony
Complete the Campaign on Very Hard Difficulty

Complete the Campaign on Very Hard Difficulty
Very hard difficulty is the highest level of difficulty in the game. I recommend playing on this difficulty first if you are trying to achieve the platinum trophy.
Here are some tips and information that will aid you in completing the campaign at this level of difficulty:
.
- This difficulty is not as challenging as the highest level of difficulty in many other games. There will be parts of the story which will provide you with a challenge, but in reality, you shouldn't be too pressed if you have played other games on the highest difficulty level before.
- By earning this trophy you will unlock the trophies for completing it on all the other difficulty levels as well.
- Although there is no cover system in the game, you will need to utilise the crouching feature efficiently in order to complete the game at this difficulty. There will be times where you find yourself under fire from all sides, and unable to effectively navigate through the situation, take cover and re-evaluate your sorroundings. Look for some environmental kill opportunities and the continue.
- After you unlock the thumper ability for the leash, make sure you always keep a fair amount of charges to use it, as it will become your most useful tool when you get into tricky situations.
- Look for hidden ammo and then spend your Skillshot points on charged ammo, that way you can get stronger abilities and won't have to spend all your points on restocking your guns.
Once you've completed all 7 acts and watched the final scenes of the game, this will unlock.

Major Malfunction
Destroy 50% of the Newsbots in the Single Player Campaign

Destroy 50% of the Newsbots in the Single Player Campaign
Newsbots are located throughout the single player campaign. You may unlock this trophy through natural progression of the game, if you are the sort of player who likes to explore every location and room within a game. You may need to acquire this in another playthrough if you feel like just playing the game quickly in the first instance.
Please see Total Malfunction
for all the locations of the Newsbots and where you will find them in the single player campaign.

Destroy all Newsbots in the Single Player Campaign
There are a total of 28 newsbots in the single player campaign. You will most probably be very close to acquiring this trophy simply through natural progression. The Newsbots in the campaign are very easy to locate and destroy, and you will be prompted when you are approaching one. As such, it is simpler for you to watch the video below and decipher which ones you may or may not require in order to unlock the trophy. You cannot "farm" this trophy, as with the Nom Juice related ones, because all the Newsbots are individual and assigned a position within the campaign.
They are distributed throughout the 7 acts of the game, and the video guide below will help you locate them.

Destroy 50% of the Electroflies in the Single Player Campaign
There is a total of 21 Electrofly swarms in the game. They are swarms of blue electric flies that are located throughout Stygia. You don't need to "collect" them, but you do need to destroy them all. You destroy them by simply focusing your view upon them and shooting, but you have to be within a certain distance before the swarm will be counted towards your total.
You will probably earn this trophy through natural progression, but please see Pest Control
below for a complete video walkthrough and explanation of how to find all the Electroflies.

Drink at least 20 bottles of Nom Juice in the Single Player Campaign
You can earn this naturally through playing the game, if you decide to live up to Grayson's nature as a drunken space pirate, but if you find that you have not earned the trophy by the end of the game, it is possible to get this trophy by "farming" the disco location in Act 2 - Chapter 1.
.
If you would prefer to unlock the trophy in a more "legit" way, check out the video below for a walk through to all the Nom Juice locations in the game.
.
- Drink the two bottles of Nom Juice at the beginning of the checkpoint.
- Pause the game and then retry from last checkpoint.

Execute at least 10 Headshots before you find the first DropKit
In order to unlock this, just make sure you aim for headshots at the beginning of the game, during the prequel. Slowly proceed through the prequel, aim in and then take the shot. It's not a tragedy if you don't earn the trophy on your first playthrough, because you can just start a new campaign or replay the Prequel and try hard to kill the first 10 enemies with headshots when you start again. If you are playing normally, you might still get this trophy, as you have ample opportunity to earn it in the opening stages of the game. After acquring the leash, you will have a small space of time to earn this before you find the dropkit. If you were struggling to get headshots before you get to the leash, try again now and slow the enemies down with leash and kick combo.
To save time and frustration later on, focus on getting these headshots right at the beginning, so you can earn the trophy and move on to the more difficult ones.
If however, you don't manage to unlock the trophy, you can replay the prologue via chapter select, on Very Easy difficulty, and this shouldn't be a problem for you.

Kill the enemy inside the airborne helicopter in the park
In Act 4 Chapter 2 you will come to a point where you are chasing the plant that has taken Ishi, a helicopter will arrive and in order to unlock the trophy you have to kill the enemy inside. I recommend using a charged sniper rifle, that way you can explode the bullet if you fail to get a direct impact. If you fail to unlock it on your first attempt, you can reload the last checkpoint and start over.

Kill all enemies while escaping from the collapsed building
This is a very easy trophy and you may unlock it without even trying. Whilst escaping from the collapsed building, you will meet two enemies. In order to acquire the trophy, all you have to do is make sure you kill both of these enemies and still make it to the escape pod within the 30 seconds.

I Might Be Late
Kill all enemies during the sprint to the jumpship

Kill all enemies during the sprint to the jumpship
You will unlock this trophy in Act 7 Chapter 1. A two minute timer will pop up and you will have that amount of time available to reach the jumpship. In order to acquire the trophy you will have to kill every enemy whilst on route to the jumpship. I recommend using the Penetrator, as you will get one hit kills with it, and will save time. You may find it easier to use the charge shot of the PeaceMaker carbine though, so feel free to go with which ever weapon you feel is best.
You should be able to make it on time, as two minutes provides just enough of an opportunity to make it through. Refer to the video below in order to see all the enemies you need to kill. Be sure to remember to kill the enemy who hides behind the bar, and also remember to kill the enemies on the final pier which are not shooting at you.

Skillshots are probably the most important feature of the game. Bulletstorm focuses on using Skillshots to distinguish itself from the plethora of other first-person shooter games. While it is possible to play Bulletstorm like a normal FPS and simply kill the enemies regularly, it is far more rewarding to use Skillshots.

In order to unlock this trophy, you need to perform all 131 possible Skillshots. Below is a list of every Skillshot which relates to how they are laid out in the Skillshots checklist in the game, how many points it is worth, and some advice as to how you can unlock them:
Thanks to SniperFox for the help in compiling this list!
Some general tips when it comes to maximising the amount of Skillshots you perform:
.
- Utilise your environment, as a significant proportion of the Skillshots are based on environmental moves and attacks.
- Change weapons often, as if you continue to use the same weapons throughout the game, you will not be able to perform the weapon-based Skillshots.
- Keep checking your progress in the Skillshots part of the select menu, so you don't keep repeating the same ones.
- Be creative!
Some notable information:
.
- In order to see whether or not you have completed the Skillshot, you will need to access the Skillshot menu. If the name of the Skillshot appears then you have earned the Skillshot, even if the tick does not appear next to it.
- You can die, and your Skillshots will still count, and on top of that Skillshots carry over to separate playthroughs/chapter select.
- In total, there are 131 skillshots in the game.
- This can be broken down into 3 categories: 42 general Skillshots, 70 weapon-based Skillshots and 19 secret Skillshots.
- The 42 general Skillshots are subdivided into two sections.
- The 70 weapon-based Skillshots are subdivided into seven sections, 10 Skillshots for each weapon.
- The final 19 secret skillshots are in one category.

- The points awarded for each Skillshot are shown by the numerical values aligned to the right.
- CHARGED: refers to the way in which you charge your weapon to use it's secondary capability.

Earn 2,000 points or more at once

Earn 2,000 points or more at once
This is a fairly easy trophy, but if you fail to earn it through natural progression of the campaign, there are a couple of locations where you can get it with very little difficulty.
The easiest way to earn it is in the second Echo map, "Hideout". After you kick one of the low barriers against the wall to proceed, you will come to an open area and instantly be under fire. All you have to do is shoot one of the red barrels, this should set off a chain reaction, and your trophy will unlock.
You can also earn the trophy in Act 7 Scene 2 fairly easily. Just go into the room shown in the video below, and use your thumper ability of the leash and you should chain more than 2,000 points.

Very simple trophy. Just play three different Echoes to the end and you will unlock this. It is not dependant on score or performance in any way, just play three Echoes. You will unlock this if you are trying to achieve the platinum as you will have to play all of the Echoes, multiple times, in order to do so.

Each of these 14 Echoes has a required point threshold minimum that needs to be met in order to clear it with 3 stars. Consistent use of skillshots, environmental skillshots and thumper use will raise your scores quickly. If you find a primary weapon isn't working well for you on a certain map, switch it out and try another. A bit of trial and error, and you'll have all of them sorted out in no time.

This isn't too difficult, and you should earn this whilst going for the Supernova

If you are still struggling then play on "The Mall", which has the highest number of enemies of all the levels, and you should have more luck.

Finish an Echo round without executing a single Skillshot

Finish an Echo round without executing a single Skillshot
The most obvious way to get this is to just shoot between the chest and the waist with your PeaceMaker Carbine, and you will earn +10 Skillpoints per kill. However, there is an incredibly simple way to earn this trophy, and that is on the Echo map "Downtown". All you need to do is run from the start of the Echo, straight to the end, which will take you around 30 seconds. Bypass all enemies, and make sure that you don't accidentally kick or slide them into the environmental hazards.

- Make sure you progress through quickly, the time bonus is crucial if you are going to get enough points!
- When you get to the fallen elevator, make sure you kill all 3 'waves' of enemies that come down.
- Try and get as many different skillshots as you can on the individual enemies, such as 'trip wire', 'rear entry' and 'surgeon'.
- Remember to recharge your thumper and ammunition when you reach the dropkit, by leashing it and then unleashing.

Have a total of at least 150,000 points in Echoes Mode's total high score

Have a total of at least 150,000 points in Echoes Mode's total high score
This might come through natural progression, whilst you are trying to earn the Supernova
trophy. If you are really accomplished player and you have no problems with getting combos and using a wide variety of skillshots, then you may find that you will get over 150,000 points just by earning 3 stars on each of the first 14 levels.
This is the best case scenario, however, and you may not. The problem will be that you are required to get an average of over 10,000 points per level, which can be difficult. Some are not, and you will get a huge number of points fairly easily, but others are terribly difficult to get this amount.
If you have activated your online pass, you will have access to an additional 6 Echo maps. This is excellent for you, and you will be able to unlock the trophy by just playing 2 or 3 of these additional maps, as the total is cumulative and the 150,000 will be well within your reach. If you don't have the online pass activated, as you rented the game or bought it used, then you should purchase it or just try and get over 10,000 in each map.

Defeat a miniboss in Anarchy mode

Defeat a miniboss in Anarchy mode
This trophy is very easy. When you reach round 6 of any Anarchy map, a Chaingunner will spawn, and every other round after that there will be multiple minibosses. Whenever you kill one you will earn the "Bossed" Skillshot, and the trophy will unlock once you unlock this. On your road to level 65 in Anarchy mode, you will kill hundreds of minibosses, so don't worry, this will come via natural progression of this multiplayer mode.

Achieve a score of at least 50,000 as a team in Anarchy mode
In order to unlock this trophy, you will need to score a total of 50,000 as a team, in one wave. Therefore, this needs to be done in the final wave, as the amount of enemies significantly increases, allowing you the chance to earn more points.
Below is a video containing a viable option to acquiring this trophy, but you may find that other methods are preferable to you. Remember that team Skillshots are key, and without them, you will not be able to unlock this trophy.

Team Player
Complete 200 team challenges in your career in Anarchy mode

Complete 200 team challenges in your career in Anarchy mode
This will come naturally through your progression to level 65 in this particular game mode. You will often encounter team challenges, at a rate of around 2 or 3 per wave in the early round up to about 5 or 6 in the final rounds. You will net 500xp each for completing a challenge, and it will contribute towards your overall wave score.
The key to these are sliding, kicking and leashing. You will find success if one of you lines up the opponent and slides into him, raising him into the air in front of the environmental challenge, and then the other takes the opportunity to kick the enemy into the hazard. Practice makes perfect with these, and of course microphones and communication will help you a great deal as timing is crucial to succeeding.

Achieve level 65 in Anarchy mode

Achieve level 65 in Anarchy mode
Nothing fancy here, what you need to do is achieve level 65 in Anarchy mode. This is no easy challenge, it will take you around 20-30 hours of playtime depending on your skill level, and you are required to earn 1,700,000xp in order to earn the trophy.
You can play in both private matches and public matches, and your level will carry over between these game modes. You can also earn experience if your playing solo, however, I would recommend playing in teams of 2 or more, because that will mean that you can earn the team based skillshots. These provide you with more personal xp, but it will also give you a higher team wave score as both members will be contributing to the total.
Good luck, you'll need it.

Perform every Anarchy environment Skillshot

Perform every Anarchy environment Skillshot
In order to obtain this trophy, you have to perform all 13 of the special Anarchy environmental Skillshots. Below is a complete list of the Skillshots you need to perform in order to acquire this trophy.
You can actually earn every single one of these by yourself in private matches, so you don't need to boost or anything for them. They are also all pretty straight forward.
Meatspin - Send an enemy into the revolving door on Grand Central. ( There's a revolving door in the plaza on the Grand Central map. Just send an enemy flying into it for this shot. )
Man Crush - Crush an enemy with the car press on Junkyard. ( Easy - just kick, leash, or slide an enemy into the car press on the Junkyard map. Note that it HAS to be you that sends them there, otherwise it doesn't count. )
Dead Rock (3 Skillshots)
Feeder - Get an enemy eaten by the Maneater on Dead Rock. ( IDENTICAL to the single player version. Just get an enemy into the maneater's line of sight, and enjoy. Not that YOU have to cause the enemy to be eaten. It doesn't work if they just walk in front of it. )
Blood Fountain - Send an enemy into the fan on Waterworks. ( There's a spot in the center of the map - with toxic waste and a fan. This is where you want to try and send the enemies. However, I think it also counts if you just send them into the streams on the ground as well. )

Make A Wish - Send an enemy into the Fountain on Grand Central. ( The fountain is in the same area as the revolving door. Simply knock an enemy into the water in it. )
Midnight Express - Cause an enemy to be hit by the train on Grand Central. ( This one can be pretty hard. You have to time it pretty well. The train can be found on the upper walkway of the plaza ( The area with the fountain. ). Kick an enemy off the walkway and into the path of the train as it passes by. You have to make sure the train hits them! )
Flattery - Crush an enemy with an elevator on Grand Central. ( This is, again, in the plaza. The area is surrounded on two sides by elevator shafts. Simply kick an enemy into one with an active elevator in it - then leash the elevator down onto them. )
Junkyard (2 Skillshots)

NOM NOM NOM - Kill an enemy with the giant dinosaur skull on Dead Rock. ( Kick an enemy into the giant skull - it'll chomp down on them. Like above, YOU have to send them there. )
Not In Kansas - Send an enemy into the tornado on Dead Rock. ( Just kick or leash an enemy into the electrified tornado on Dead Rock. )
Power Plant (1 Skillshots)

Ground Chuck - Send an enemy into the Grind Wheels on Power Plant. ( This is easiest to do if you stand between two wheels, and kick the enemy towards the side that has the exposed bars on it. )

Royal Flush - Send an enemy into the water from the leaking pipes of Waterworks. ( There are a few pipes around the map that are pouring "water" straight down. Send an enemy into one of these streams and this should be yours. Like many other skillshots here, YOU have to be the one to send them in. )
