I actually retrieved the no assistance needed trophy by doing stay sharp.
i first did stay sharp and got all 3 stars but then i did it again alone to get the 50/50 trophy so i used two of my controllers did 17 kills each and by the end of it i got both the 50/50 and no assistance needed
maybe you can get it that way oh and i didnt finish stay sharp quick either i took my sweet time

on the trophy birdie there is a esay way to get it.

pick the map dome, all you need is 5000$ to when the coppers come and the air support are inside the big bulding so there is i where you wanna be you can just go and buy two predators and then just take them down, you don't need to do it on round 6 if you don't have money to do it ( stand somwhere there it's no window over you so will it be esay) hope this help

No you do not you just have to buy everything atleast once in all of the games you play.

I can confirm this method works for both trophies.

I had the same problem as you do. I tried Terex's method and it worked no problemo. You just need two controllers and do the first mission. If you haven't gotten 50/50 yet you can also do that at the same time.

I did the Strike! Trophy on the mission "Mind the Gap." Before the part where the helicopter shoots the giant cylinders that roll down and crush the enemies, throw a grenade at the group. The checkpoint is right before the helicopter is called in support, so if you fail, you can just kill yourself to try again. It will take a few tries but eventually you should get it.
