[top]Introduction

Dungeon Siege III is the third installment of the Dungeon Siege series, however, it's said to be nothing like the previous games. So for those out there looking for a similar experience OR those that want something new, keep this in mind.

Dungeon Siege's story opens in a land known as Ehb with a Legion home of Lucas Montbarron is being attacked by a woman named Jeyne Kassynder who betrayed the legion 30 years prior due to thinking that they killed the old king(who is known to have been an asshole anyways). So she's set to wipe out the entire legion and you are trying to flee at this point. Your character will meet an old legion scout guy named Odo who then tries to convince you to build an army up and go after Jeyne. So you have to rebuild the legion and then take her out and save the land of Ehb. Your journey will venture your through a nasty deadly forest full of spiders and werewolves, through dirty old crypts with witches and skeletons, off down into a mine to save a queen who is not very bright-minded at all, and various other ill-fortuned places.. and then hopefully make it to Jeyne.

[top]Roadmap

Writing roadmap as if the person was playing each playthrough for the four different characters and not using another player's game join-in for the trophy. You can do that and if so, ignore most of this roadmap. For quickest platinum, find a friend online or in boosting thread that has a file on Hardcore difficulty near the end and join them for that battle. Also, use same file on casual if need be for the other characters. Simply play each character until they level up to 20 for those trophies and complete the game doing other trophies yourself.
  • First simply play through the game with one of the characters and do everything you can. Try and complete all sidequests, the main quest, leveling up to max level with a character, most choice based missions, etc. You will get all story related trophies and some just from simple choices. During this playthrough you could try for the influence party members trophies and the defeating bosses a certain way(like Rajani and not healing during fight). You can use any playthrough of the game for the online trophies such as Fellowship of the Ding, Military Intelligence, Jinx, Helping Hand, Party of Four.
  • Next simply play through as a different character, playing on the hardcore difficulty if you want and this time choose to do the opposite of what you did the first time. Few more trophies but this is necessary unless you play online and jump into a game with someone else near the end for the character completion trophies and difficulty trophy. You still need to play through with each character until they reach level 20 so yeah.
  • Third playthrough, simply play as a third different character and try to wrap up as much as you can through collection of other trophies. Again least have to play till level 20 if don't get online in a party and complete the game.
  • On the last playthrough, play as the fourth and final character you have neglected this whole time and probably just play on casual to get to 20 fast and without problems. From there just try to get anything else you have missed to this point and should have your platinum without much hassle.

[top]Glitches and Tips

NOTE: Alot of people say some trophies are glitched but they simply have a specific completion method that you have to do. A little misleading, but not glitched. Trophies are Merchant of Ehb and The Enduring Champion so keep in mind when trying to obtain these trophies.

Glitches and tips here come from Minarum.
For the level up trophies and the beat the game trophies with certain characters. You can join people online that are level 19, and when you level up you will get the level 20 trophy for the character you're playing. Same with beating the game in a co-op game online. Same goes for the hardest difficulty trophy and Perfectionist.

Maximum Charisma and Circle of friends - At the very end of the game, when the chapterhouse is burning, there will be a save point followed by 2 double doors leading outside to the East Forest. Everytime you open the 2nd double door, whoever your companion is will gain influence. Just save and reload the game, and keep doing that for the Maximum Charisma and Circle of Friends trophies.
Oh and don't underestimate evading and standing there blocking. It will use up a little bit of focus to get hit repeatedly with attack and just blocking, but you'll take almost no damage in doing so either. Keep in mind if get in a tough spot, like fighting Rajani without healing OR using default gear. Proves a life saver.

[top]Trophies

[top]
Dungeon Siege III Platinum Trophy
Collected all Dungeon Siege III trophies.

Acquire all other trophies in Dungeon Siege III and you will obtain this one.

[top]
Sacred Meeting
You spoke to the Radiant Youth in the Mournweald.

Story related. You will recieve this trophy when Odo sends you into the forest traveling to a place called the Mournweald for a ring of Lucas ancestors. Once you get the ring and leave, you'll be approached by a image of a kid you will then talk to you and send you out of the Mournweald before it eats you soul.

[top]
Trial by Fire
You defeated the archon, Rajani.

Story Related. On your journeys, you will have to fight a warrior of Jeyne Kassynder's, named Rajani. She is a bitch and uses some badass spell attacks as well, so be careful. After you defeat her, you will receive this trophy. Also, note, you will be given a choice as to whether to kill her, send her on her way to tell a message to Jeyne, and couple other options that result the same way. These options merely affect the final few clips of the game's ending and if Rajani shows up at select intervals in the game. Nothing major changes due to these events however.

[top]
Through the Murky Mire
You survived a journey through the Eastern Swamp.

Story Related. Once you have spoke with Odo and defeated Rajani, you next task will be setting up a new legion headquarters so to speak. This will be the Grand Chapterhouse. To make it here you will need to go to a place known as Stonebridge, which happens to be on the other side of a damned swamp. Expect lots of spiders, bugs, slug demons, and various other ungodly critters. . After you journey through the swamp and save the legion soldiers gathered within, you will achieve this trophy.

[top]
Stonebridge Alliance
You forged an alliance between Stonebridge and the 10th Legion.

Story Related. For this trophy, you will have to go to Stonebrige and meet with a group of rich bastards, known as the Meisters. They hate the Legion it seems but claim innocence from the murder of the Legion here 30 years prior when Jeyne was off gallivanting through killing everyone then. Anyhow, they will send you on several different missions from ridding a crypt of some bandit guy to helping stop a cyclops strike .gif" border="0" alt="" title="O O" class="inlineimg" />... and eventually catching the "Dapper Old Gent" who is terrorizing the town due to the history of betrayal. There are four guys that send you on quests, one being the mayor who sides with majority and one guy that already pledges allegiance anyways. So do the three different missions for these other guys and win vote of alliance with Stonebridge. One will not vote for you based on choices at cyclops strike task so be advised.

[top]
Long Live the Queen
You broke the siege of Glitterdelve and saved Queen Roslyn.

Story Related. For this trophy you will need to go down into the mines and save the Queen. She is being attacked from creatures within the mines AND from Jeyne Kassynder's army. Just help do all you can here in their tasks of destroying certain paths throughout the mines and then face Jeyne(you will not fight her). She will unleash a Warbeast on you. Once you defeat it and you will achieve this trophy.

[top]
Aspire to Victory
You stormed the Spire and defeated Jeyne Kassynder.

Story Related. For this trophy, you are nearing the end of the game and need to attack out after you have saved the queen and formed all your alliances you can. With your army of automatons and soldiers, you will attack the heart of Jeyne Kassynder's base and army to put an end to her. Simply make your way through and up to her and ofcourse defeat her. Be given a choice on what to do with her once you do, same as with Rajani. Affect the ending a little bit, but have fun.

[top]
Welcome to the Winner's Circle
You have restored the Legion and saved the land of Ehb.

Story Related. Complete the main story line quest and you will receive this trophy.

Toggle Spoiler

[top]
Guardian of Ehb
You have completed the main quest as Lucas.

For this trophy, you simply need to complete the main storyline as the melee character, Lucas.

[top]
Fiery Judgement
You have completed the main quest as Anjali.

For this trophy, you simply need to complete the main storyline as the melee/spell fire witch lady, Anjali.

[top]
Lock, Stock, and Invocation
You have completed the main quest as Katarina.

For this trophy, you simply need to complete the main storyline as the ranged gunslinger awesome chick, Katarina. She's Lescanzi.

[top]
The Calculus of Victory
You have completed the main quest as Reinhart.

For this trophy, you simply need to complete the main storyline as the old geezer Reinhart, who is some beast-ass mage guy.

[top]
Worthy of Legend
You completed Dungeon Siege III at the highest difficulty level.

Complete Dungeon Siege III on Hardcore difficulty and you will achieve this trophy. Play from beginning to ending on Hardcore difficulty setting. NOTE: You CAN NOT change difficulty during the game or it will not count. You can join into someone else's game that has been playing on Hardcore and complete and achieve the trophy.

[top]
We Are Legion
You have gathered a full party of Legion descendants.

Missable Trophy. You will achieve this trophy just simply playing through the game and freeing captive comrades throughout, unless you actually tell them "NO DON'T JOIN ME" like an idiot or something. Based on who your main character is decides how soon or late you get this trophy.
Reinhart is in Stonebridge, met during the trials of the Meisters.
Anjali is in the first cave you go into to fight the witch bitch.
Lucas is in cave leading to Royalists.
Katrina is met heading towards the swamp during game.

NOTE: The characters order will be slightly altered depending on who your character is AND if you are playing co-op or not.

[top]
Show Off
You've paraded about in nothing but rare items.

You will acquire this trophy by naturally equipping your character with nothing but rare gear. This is the orange and blue gear you will acquire later on in the game. It popped late for me, but every piece of gear is required to have something rare equipped into.

[top]
Perfectionist
You completed your quest, plus all other secondary quests in the game.

Missable Trophy. 100% complete the game with any character doing every side quests you find and complete the main quest.

List of All Side Quests

[top]
Maximum Charisma
You achieved the highest possible influence with one of your companions.

Missable Trophy. During dialogue choices that make a decision, try and find selections that influence a certain character. Certain phrases give influence gains to different party members, however, note that the party member must be selected and out when you choose what to say. Save often and tinker with this as you play as I don't have a recollection of what all to choose. May be able to post later.
Here are some tips to help make decisions until a later time comes .

Anjali is more fair and for justice with most choices. Tends to be a little less remorseful
Lucas is more for queen and nobility. Also seemed to have more bitter, evil-like choices
Katarina is same way but more greedy than Lucas.
Reinhart is more kind and for justice similar to Anjali. Little more forgiving than Anjali.

[top]
Circle of Friends
You achieved at least one level of influence with all three of your companions.

Missable Trophy. Same as with Maximum Charisma, except you much have one level with all of your companions. Work on this from time you start playing with the first ones you get to join you and switch after you get atleast one level. Some bosses affect level double the percent normal, so keep in mind. If you aren't playing as Reinhart, you'll have to wait till Stonebridge or Co-op to get him to join for his level. Easy to obtain the trophy right there in Stonebridge.

[top]
View From The Top
You have achieved the maximum level.

To acquire this trophy, simply play through the game, doing all quests and killing everything you can to max level up your main character. Level 30 is the max level for this game and you will need to grind for a bit most likely near the ending just before the final battle, in the forest. There you will face off against fallen archons and deformed monstrosities. Simply run from one end to the other grinding until you manage to reach your level.

[top]
Merchant of Ehb
You sold over 100,000 coins worth of items.

Missable Trophy. Throughout all your playthroughs (you need four atleast anyways) just sell everything you come across that you don't need anymore and you will eventually achieve this trophy in one of them maybe. Known that you'll most likely get the deed before the trophy pops, so just keep on selling things and eventually come by end of the game. Simply sell a ton of rare expensive gear as you get it and repeat during same game sitting(don't quit or load up a game or anything).
TIP: Minarum suggested simply selling stuff, re-buying it back and then selling it. Just keep repeating with alot of high value gear and should pop in time. Estimated at about 5-10 minutes he said, just dependent on the value of items sold.

[top]
Rajani's Rival
You bested Rajani without needing to heal yourself.

Missable Trophy. For this trophy, you'll need to beat Rajani without healing yourself. Start by playing the game on casual and be as high level as you can when you face off with Rajani, who is an archon like Anjali. You and your party member will probably die repeatedly, so just keep reviving them and hope they return the favor for you and don't use any defensive healing abilites as these will disable obtaining this trophy. Be careful of any other healing or abilities that restore health during the battle.. Do note that your character can die and be revived as many times as you want and it doesn't count against you here in this battle(granted your co-op player or the computer will run over and revive you in time).

"Tip From DarkAlmasy"
Quote Originally Posted by DarkAlmasy View Post

[top]
Archambaud's Anathema
During your fight against the Dapper Old Gent, you destroyed 50 of his automatons.

Missable Trophy. In Stonebridge, once you've done all the Meister's tasks and went into the crypt and defeated the bandit there, you will come back to the town being destroyed by automatons. Make your way through them all, paying attention to their attacks as you're gonna have to fight a ton of them later. Get to the Meisters and chase the Gent.

Now during the battle with him, there are several shields that appear and come from these little generators sitting around the area. Around the generators are more shields and contraptions that are spawning automatons. Lucky for you, they aren't that bad here... just don't get close. Keep your party member revived and keep killing till you hit 50 or more. You will have to keep count as the trophy will not pop until you actually defeat the Gent and carry on with the story. Destroy the machines that spawn when you want a break, hit gent when shield goes down and repeat until all shields are down permanently and all generators and machines are destroyed to finish the battle.

[top]
Moment of Solace
Force Jeyne to flee before defeating her handmaids.

Missable Trophy. During your fight with Jeyne, simply defeat her before defeating her handmaids. Avoid them and you may have to play on Co-op to achieve this trophy so your companion doesn't try and kill them all. Dodge about and try to lure Jeyne away from the other handmaids and get few attacks in then. If you happen to accidentally kill one before she's defeated.. simply reload and try again.

[top]
Flawless Victory
You defeated the reborn god without needing to be revived by a companion.

Missable Trophy. Defeat the final boss, the Reborn God without being revived by your companion. Keep trying and reviving your companion doesn't hurt, so get them killed before you do and just stay healing constantly.

[top]
I Could Do This Blindfolded
You defeated a major opponent using only your default equipment.

For this trophy, defeat the first major opponent you can with only your standard equipment. Which is the stuff you can never sell. Not sure what counts as major but may have to do this on Rajani Or another boss if seems easier later on in the game. Just have to start with default gear and use nothing but until the boss is dead. Again, constantly evade about like a mad man and block. Let your partner do most of the work and keep them revived if you can and hope they don't prance about and keep fighting while you're dead instead of reviving you.

[top]
Enduring Champion
Over your career, you have sustained at least 100,000 points of damage.

Suffer over 100,000 damage throughout the course of the game and you will receive this trophy. Like Merchant of Ehb, you will receive deed before acquiring the trophy most likely so keep playing until it pops. You can acquire this even after dying as the damage possibly carries over for the total accumulation. Tip from Minarum says it doesn't, but people have had it work both ways.

TIP: Again from Minarum, but you must endure the 100,000 damage without dying or it will restart. Makes sense really. Suggested to just tank in the East Forest near the end if you have to or somewhere like that and just keep killing things and taking damage as much as you can without dying until trophy pops. Helps if you're trying to level up there as well. Just save often so in case you die, you either don't lose all levels in loading earlier file OR have to restart the damage taken.

[top]
Of One Mind
You have agreed on dialogue choices 20 times in one session.

Missable Trophy. Play online or with a friend offline and just choose the same selections during dialogue options and you will achieve this trophy.

[top]
Rivalry
You have disagreed on dialogue choices 20 times in one session.

Missable Trophy. Same as with Of One Mind, just play online or with a friend ... However you need to select opposite dialogue options each time for 20 conversations.

[top]
Party of Four
You were part of a four-player party that completed the game together.

For this trophy, you will need to play online and complete the main story line together as a full group. Shouldn't be too difficult and possibly can join a game right before the ending and complete and it count as completing together. Confirmed this works.

[top]
Jinx
You were part of a conversation wherein four players were all in agreement as to what to say.

For this trophy, play online with a group of four people and everyone must agree to the same dialogue options. Similar to Of One Mind, but more people and only need to do this once. Some boosting will probably be necessary for this trophy.

[top]
Military Intelligence
You were part of a conversation wherein four players were all in disagreement over what to say.

Same as Jinx, just get a game going online with four people but everyone must disagree on what to say in one of the dialogue options.

[top]
Helping Hand
While joined to another player's game, you used an empowered Defensive Ability to assist the party.

Play online and the joining player has to use an empowered Defensive ability (Holding R2 button and using one of the defensive skill abilities) that assists the party. Simply need to coordinate this trophy a little bit with boosting to ensure it works correctly, but as long as you have leveled up your character's abilities so that you maxed one out, and it has become available for the empowered version, you are set.
NOTE: You need one of the empowered orbs(sometimes they take 2-3 so keep in mind) to use an empowered version of an ability. These orbs are found and collected from defeated enemies.

[top]
Fellowship of the Ding
You took part in a level-up while in a four-player game.

Join into a four player game and get a level up while playing and you will achieve this trophy. Just grind or complete quests until you are near leveling and then try to join into a game online.

[top]
Nerds Hate Sunlight
You and a friend of played for three hours in one session.

Play either offline with a friend or online with a group and simply play for over three hours together and you will achieve this trophy.
NOTE: YOU MUST CONSTANTLY BE PLAYING FOR THE TROPHY TO POP. You CAN NOT let the game sit for a time as it will register as resting and not count for three hours of play. You can take a break and come back but must be 3 hours in same session of actual game playing time. The old rubberband trick on the controller will work for this if you wanted to set the characters to run in circles if you have extra controller but no way of co-op play.

[top]
Maximum Bro Fist
Playing co-op as Lucas and Reinhart, you defeated a boss.

Play online or offline with a friend and defeat a boss while playing as Lucas and Reinhart. This trophy is the same as "Two Girls, One Boss" so at the point where you battle Rajani, make sure you keep that in mind to be playing co-op with the two guys.

[top]
Two Girls, One Boss
Playing co-op as Anjali and Katarina, you defeated a boss.

Play online or offline with a friend and defeat a boss while playing as Anjali and Katarina. I got this trophy when I defeated Rajani, so she counts as the first boss(no other bosses counted until this point).

[top]
Archon Adept
You reached level 20 as Anjali.

Play the game until you reach level 20 as Anjali to achieve this trophy.

[top]
Guardian Legend
You reached level 20 as Lucas.

Play the game until you reach level 20 as Lucas to achieve this trophy.

[top]
Two Perfect Tens
You reached level 20 as Katarina.

Play the game until you reach level 20 as Katarina to achieve this trophy.

[top]
Epic Scholarship
You reached level 20 as Reinhart.

Play the game until you reach level 20 as Reinhart to achieve this trophy.

[top]
Lescanzi Ally
You ceded control of Gunderic Manor to Leona.

Choice Related. During the Gunderic Manor sidequest, near the end simply let Leona have the manor as she wishes to obtain this trophy. Affects the ending cutscene of the game slightly.

[top]
Legion Caretaker
You decided that Gunderic Manor should remain in Legion hands.

Choice Related. As with Lescanzi Ally, during the Gunderic Manor sidequest, at the end of the quest line there, Leona wants the manor. Simply tell her no it's Legion's and she will understand. Affects the ending cutscene of the game slightly.

[top]
Royalist Ally
You have shown unwavering support to the Crown.

Missable Trophy. When you finally rescue the Queen in the mine, she will ask that you spare Jeyne and will talk to your party. Simply agree completely with her at this point and you will acquire the trophy. You don't have to keep your word either, so keep in mind if you want a certain ending or path later in the game.

[top]
Liberator
You freed all the prisoners in the Spire.

Missable Trophy. During the assault on the Spire during the game, simply free all the prisoners locked inside the dungeon (quest Dungeon Siege-side quest). Fitch doesn't count so you can let him rot if you'd like to. They will all be locked up in a hallway like together, so kill jailer and free them all to achieve this trophy.

[top]
Loremaster
You have discovered 60 lore entries in one adventure.

Missable Trophy. For this trophy, read all the secret little texts sitting about everywhere you go and you will eventually read 60 and obtain this trophy. There are about 70-75ish total so can miss a few, but they will begin to add up.
