[top]Tips and Strategies

-DON'T KILL YOURSELF is the best advice I can get. This game is meant to take 12+ weeks and it is meant to get you into shape the right way. Don't overdo the game just to get the faster.

-Make sure your heart monitors are on right. The little man should be pointing down, if they are not on right the moves won't recognize.

-If you are having trouble with a certain exercise rewatch the training videos. Remember the game is trying to teach you to the workouts right so do the move in the same rhythm as your instructor and don't go to fast.

-On the days you don't have a workout scheduled do one anyways and work on the grinding trophies then.

-You can adjust the date on your PS3 so that you can skip ahead in the programs.

1. Set up your profile: This is done as soon as you start the game. After this is complete you will get Ready To Go

The next 2 steps can be done in any order

2. Complete Cardio Kick Start Program: This is a 3 week program that consists of 4 workouts a week. When you complete week 3 you will earn Cardio Kick Start Don't forget to fill in your journal entries every day to earn Dear Diary , Survey Says and Staying Active

Finally if you can do the whole workout without missing a day you will earn Trend Setter and Perfect Attendance

3. Complete 9 Week Program: The 9 Week program consists of 4 workouts a day for 9 weeks. When this is completed you will earn Phase 1 Complete Phase 2 Complete and Phase 3 Complete You will also be working on grinding out all the "complete 1000..." trophies.

4. Clean Up: This is where you will burn the rest of the calories needed and grind out all the "complete 1000..." trophies. Just keep doing custom workouts until they all pop.

I ranged about 130-300 calories burned a workout session. Just do both the 9 week program and Cardio Kick Start Program and if you still need to burn off calories just create some custom workouts while going for the grinding trophies and you will eventually get it.

After completing both the Cardio Kick Start Program and 9 Week Program you should have 48 workouts (4 a week for 12 weeks). Just keep creating custom workouts while grinding for the other trophies and this will unlock after 100. Remember a workout can consist of a single exercise.

This is done in either in Full body or Lower body: and then pick one of the lunge exercises.

This is done in Fully body or Lower body: then pick one of the squat exercises.

OK there are a lot of these grinding trophies so instead of just writing variations on how to get them all I decided to just to put them all under this one.

Even after completing both Cardio Kick Start and the 9 Week program you will probably need to grind these to 1000 (everyday you may do 10 of the exercise). This can be done by just creating a workout with the exercise you want to grind that day (please don't overdue it you don't need to kill yourself for a platinum).

To check your progress go to the main menu and select Journal, Fitness Tools and then My Milestones. This will show you how many of each exercise you have completed, simply hit 1000 and the trophy is yours.

Complete 101 Exercises

This will be done while completing both programs. You complete about 25 exercises a workout so just do 4 or 5 workouts and this will unlock.

Goal Getter
Complete 3 goals with over 80% completion

Similar to GOAL! but now you just need 80% of all 3 goals. Just complete that weeks workouts and it should unlock. If you are still missing some do an extra days workout and grind it until you are at 80%.

These reset every week so make sure you grind to unlock.

Complete 5 scheduled workouts in a row

When completing the Cardio Kick Start Program or 9 Week Program just don't miss any workouts and after 5 this will unlock. You cannot turn the ps3 clock back (it didn't work for me).

If you miss this on one play though just get it when you complete the other.

Complete a Multiplayer Workout

YOU NEED TWO HEART MONITORS

For this trophy you need to have two EA Active 2 heart monitors but you don't need to have two people. I tried it and it works to simply attach two sets on your arms and legs and complete the workout at that way.

To do this quickly select My Workouts, Workout With a Friend and then Create Custom Workout. Do whichever workout you want (you only need to do 1) but you might as well select one that you need to grind for the 1000 completed.

After the workout is complete you will earn this trophy and if you haven't already you will also get Making it Mine

Complete a workout with 100%

You need to complete every exercise in a workout. When you are completing the Cardio Kickstart Program or The 9 Week Program you will probably get this on the first day. Just donít skip any exercises.

Complete a Fitness Program without missing a workout

Like Trend Setter you just can't miss any workouts. With this one though you have to complete the whole program to unlock the trophy and not just 5 workouts. If you miss a workout simply try again on your other play through.

Completed 50 unique exercises

These need to be different exercises. So Follow the Leader (med) and Follow the Leader (short) count as 2 different exercises.

You will get this going for the program trophies so don't worry too much about this one.

Getting Results
Complete first Fitness Tracker Report

Once you start your second week of working out you will be asked to complete the Fitness Tracker Report. Here you can update you weight and do a heart rate test. If you don't want to do the test just take the trophy and run.

Cardio Kick Start
Complete the Cardio Kick Start Program

There are two types of preset workouts, The Cardio Kick Start and The 9 Week Program. Select Cardio Kick Start and then set up your workout schedule.

The Cardio Kick Start program consists of exercising 4 days a week for 3 weeks. Each day will consist of a plethora of different exercises to build cardio training. Just complete the three weeks (try not to miss any days so you get Perfect Attendance and Trend Setter ) and this will unlock.

If you do miss a day you will have to complete it to get the trophy. Go to Program History and find any days with a red X beside them, then just complete the day.

You can cheat at this though by changing the date on your PS3 so that it skips to the end of the program. Then you can take off all but 1 exercise from the workout and just complete that. This means you only have to 1 exercise per day and you can do all those in 1 day.

When starting a workout program you have 2 choices to make, you can either do Cardio Kick Start or a 9 Week Program. Choose the 9 week program and then set up your workout schedule (pick 4 out of 7 days you will workout) Every Phase lasts 3 weeks (12 workouts) so you will earn a trophy after each of these Phases (Phase 1 Complete + Phase 2 Complete ). After you complete the last workout of week 9 you will earn the trophy.

Making it Mine
Create and complete a Custom Workout

There is a lot of grinding to do in this game so you will probably get this at some point in the game. I got mine when going for the Workout Buddies trophy.

Simply go to My Workouts, then choose Workout On My Own or With a Friend, and then Create Custom Workout. You can do as many exercises as you want but just make sure to complete it. After you are done the trophy will pop.

Just complete a Workout, a Lifestyle and Nutrition Survey and a Other Activities Survey for one day and this will unlock

From the main menu select Journal, then Lifestyle & Nutrition Survey. Answer the 10 questions for the survey and save. Do this for 5 different days.

Each workout consist of about 20-30 minutes of exercise. so by doing both the Cardio Kickstart Program and The 9 Week Program you should have this trophy. If you still have not received it just create your own workouts until you have reached 24 hours.
