Used the boosting to get to 35 online wins (crashing at turn one AFTER my mate) but not only did i not get the trophy, i went backwards on race wins!! I had 10, (and the trophy to prove it!) now i have 7! So ive basically won 37 races but lost 30 of them.
You can actually get the coop championship in one season. Try to stay close to each other in the championship at the the last couple of races, and then have one person of the 2 turn off autosave and SAVE his profile on a external flashdrive. After one wins his season and trophy, reload the profile and let the other person win. I've tried it and it worked with me and my partner.
Regho, does only one person need to do the external backup? For example, if I did this with you, we would get to the last race in Brazil tied in points. Now, you make the external backup and I win the championship. Then, you restore your save and I can help you still, or do I also need to do a backup? Thanks.
LFBlacklabel, that is right. The coop season only has 1 save slot. So, if I made a backup before Brazil and you won the first season, I will reset my save. This means my coop save is before Brazil now and yours will be at the end of the season. Now the person with the backup will load up a coop session, when you join it asks: 'This will overwrite your current season. Continue?', select 'yes' and you are good to go!
In short, only one person needs to replace his profile and save with the backup ones and he is the one who loads up the coop session. Hope this helps out!
