[top]Roadmap

  • Step 1 - Play 50 episodes of the Game Show - Play 50 episodes of the Game Show and you'll earn the majority of the trophies in this game. At first you want to play with specific goals like beating the computer in Sorry! Sliders and Yahtzee Bowling, scoring a Yahtzee, and scoring 28 points or more in Scrabble Flash (all required for trophies) but later on you can just play for speed and purposefully lose all games to make Game Shows go faster.
  • Step 2 - Clean Up - Now you'll want to finish off trophies related to versions of the games that weren't in the Game Show, like knocking two Sumo Sliders into the Sorry! zone in Sorry! Sliders Sumo! or firing 10 balls in 35 seconds or less in Connect 4 Basketball - Speed Shot. Also, you will want to have another person to help you get 30 Bop It and Bop It Extreme Commands in a row.

Hit 10 Bop It! commands in a row without missing

In Bop It!, the announcer calls out commands that you must execute. If you are too slow to execute the command or you hit the wrong button, you fail that command, but are not necessarily out of the game yet. If you fail too many more than your opponent, you lose.

Their are five commands in Bop It!
  • Bop It -
  • Pull It - pull back/down on
  • Twist It - rotate clockwise
  • Kick It -
  • Whack It -

At the beginning of the game the commands are spoken and displayed to you at the bottom of the screen. As you progress through the game, the commands stop appearing at the bottom of the screen, so you'll need to memorize the buttons that each command requires.

Execute 10 commands in a row correctly without failing to pop this trophy. If you play with a second player and they get 10 in a row, you will earn this trophy.

Bop It! Master
Finish 25 games of Bop It!

Bop It games during Game Shows and individual Bop It games played outside of Game Shows both count towards this trophy. You do not have to win 25 games, just complete 25 games to pop this trophy. You are required to finish 50 plays of the Game Show on your way towards Super-Star! and each episode of the Game Show forces you to play Bop It, so there's no need to grind this trophy.

Hot-Shot
Won a game of Connect 4 Basketball against the Computer Player in under :45 seconds

Each game of Connect 4 Basketball is a "best of 3" series. This means you need to win two rounds to win the game. To do this in under 45 seconds against the computer, you will need to play Speed Shot so you can shoot faster and you will also need to be accurate.

At the beginning of each round, you are aimed perfectly at the center column, so don't touch unless you have to. If the computer shoots on top of you, go for a horizontal line rather than a vertical one.

Be accurate and consistent in your movement of the stick. You want to move it perfectly straight back and then perfectly straight forward, otherwise your shot may not land where you want it to. I like to rotate my controller 90 degrees clockwise and focus on moving from left to right since that works better for me.

You will need to win each round in four shots without missing in order to be fast enough to pop this trophy. It may take a few tries. Beat the computer in a game of Connect 4 Basketball in under 45 seconds to pop this trophy.

Strong Arm
Shot at least 100 balls, lifetime total, in all Connect 4 Basketball games

Your shot tally is a cumulative total across every play of Connect 4 Basketball, whether you're playing in a Game Show or not, or whether you're playing Speed Shot or not. Unless you're leaving the controller idle, you will shoot a minimum of 8 shots every time you play Connect 4 Baskteball. Since you are required to finish 50 plays of the Game Show on your way towards Super-Star! and each episode of the Game Show forces you to play Connect 4 Basketball, so there's no need to grind this trophy as you will have a minimum of 400 shots under your belt before you reach platinum.

Flawless Victory
Won a round in 4 shots in Connect 4 Basketball

Be the first player to make a line of 4 balls in your color to win a round of Connect 4 Basketball. To pop this trophy though, you'll need to ONLY use four balls to make your line. This means you can't get blocked and you can't spend any extra balls blocking your opponent.

Speed Shot
Shoot 10 balls in under 35 seconds in Connect 4 Basketball

You absolutely need to play Speed Shot to have a chance at this trophy.

Your strategy here is to prolong the game as long as possible while shooting as fast as possible. You must prevent your opponent from winning while simultaneously ensuring that you don't inadvertently win in the process. At the beginning, shoot as quickly as possible, then move into a blocking strategy and try not to accidentally win, all while continuing to shoot as fast as you can.

I like to rotate my controller 90 degrees clockwise and focus on moving from left to right since that works better for me.

You will need to prolong a round of Connect 4 Basketball (Speed Shot) long enough for you to fire 10 balls. Do this in 35 seconds or less and the trophy is yours.

Quick Thinking
Created 7 words in one game of Scrabble Five-Letter Flash

In Scrabble Five-Letter Flash, you are forced to make only 5-letter words. You start off with a jumbled set of 5 letters. Once you make a 5-letter word, you're given a new set of letters.

The game lasts about 60 seconds so you need to be fast. A good strategy is to continually move tiles around rather than just staring at them as this can help you think of words to play. If you're struggling, use Google to find an anagram builder or a Scrabble helper program and pause the game each time you get your next set of tiles. Ask the program what to do, unpause and enter your word, then pause when you see your new tiles.

Those who enjoy Scrabble will have no trouble with this. Make 7 5-letter words in the time limit to pop this trophy.

Created 50 unique words in Scrabble Flash (lifetime)

Your unique word tally is a cumulative total across every play of Scrabble Flash, whether you're playing in a Game Show or not, or whether you're playing 5-Letter or not. Unless you're leaving the controller idle, you will make a minimum of 5 words every time you play. Since you are required to finish 50 plays of the Game Show on your way towards Super-Star! and each episode of the Game Show forces you to play Scrabble Flash, so there's no need to grind this trophy as you will undoubtedly have at least 100 unique words under your belt before you reach platinum.

High Score
Scored 28 points or higher in one game of Scrabble Flash

A game of Scrabble Flash ends when one player accumulates 25 or more points. This implies a unique strategy then if you want to get to 28 points.

The plan is to get to 24 points then score a 4 or a 5 point word, all before your opponent scores 25+ points. If you hit 25, 26, or 27 points, the game will end and you will not get a chance at 28 points. So you must target 23 or 24 points and play a 4 or 5 point word so you pass 25 and make it all the way to 28 in one word.

Since you have to play Scrabble Flash during each of 50 Game Shows, you will have plenty of opportunities to grab this trophy. If you don't manage it, just replay the Scrabble Flash minigame independently and keep trying. As you're scoring points, keep one of your 4 and 5 point words until you have 23-24 points, then play it.

Score 28 points or more in a game of Scrabble Flash to pop this trophy.

Scrabble Flash Veteran
Earned 1,500 total points (lifetime) in Scrabble Flash

This is one of the few trophies you might not earn on your road to 50 Game Show finishes. Since a game of Scrabble Flash ends at 25 points and you must play one during each of 50 Game Shows, you're likely total Scrabble Flash points at the end is only 1,250. If you come up short, replay the Scrabble Flash minigame independently in order to get your cumulative points total up to 1,500.

Reach a lifetime total of 1,500 points earned in Scrabble Flash to pop this trophy.

Denied!
Knocked an opponent out of the five-point zone in Sorry Sliders or were knocked out

The 5-point zone is the very center of the target, the red bullseye. If any part of a slider is touching the 5-point zone, that slider is considered to be "in" the 5-point zone.

Watch for your opponent to land in this zone, then knock them out, plain and simple. When you do, this trophy will pop.

Sorry... Not!
Finished a game of Sorry Sliders where the opponent didn't earn a point

This trophy takes a bit of planning. Though you may earn this while playing against the computer, that's highly unlikely, so you'll want to fire up a second controller and play the multiplayer version.

Sorry! Sliders comprises a best-of-3 series, so you need to win two rounds to win the game. For this trophy, you need to win two rounds without letting your opponent score a point in either round.

Your first goal is to score with player 1. Then you can just purposely miss every shot for both teams for the rest of the game. Move your character all the way to the right, then aim all the way to the left, then give your shot the absolute minimum amount of power necessary for the game to send the slider down the alley. The slider will stop shortly after bouncing off the wall. Just repeat this process until the game is over.

If you correctly follow this method or one like it and win without letting your opponent score in either round, you'll earn this trophy.

Sorry Sliders Sumo!
Played a game of Sumo Sliders in which two Sumo Sliders were knocked into the Sorry zone

Though the description doesn't say it, you must knock two Sumo Sliders into the Sorry! zone in the same round of a game. This can be frustrating and the computer AI will not intentionally help you, so you'd do well to fire up a second controller and play the multiplayer version.

The Sorry! zone is the green zone on the edge of the target zone that is worth zero points. If any part of a Sumo Slider is touching the target zone, they are not in the Sorry! zone. You must be able to see green between a Sumo Slider and the target zone in order for them to be in the Sorry! zone.

Which two controllers, spend all of your effort trying to get two Sumo Sliders into the Sorry! zone in the same round. A bit of luck is involved here. Keep at it and when you succeed, you'll pop this trophy.

Sorry!
Won a game of Sorry Sliders against the Computer Player

Sorry! Sliders comprises a best-of-3 series. Win two rounds to win the game. Score more points than your opponent to win a round.

Playing against the computer, try to knock your opponent's sliders out of the target zone and leave yours in, ensuring you score points and they don't. After a while you will develop a bit of dexterity with such that you can call on a powerful or weak shot as necessary.

The physics in this game are quite accurate, so you can think of this almost like a game of billiards. If you hit a slider dead center, that slider will receive all of your energy causing it to move as fast as you were and you will come to a stop. If you barely graze the side of a slider, it will barely move and yours will change direction and continue moving almost as fast as it had been. Use these things to your advantage when you go to muscle your opponent out of the target zone.

If you don't manage this while playing 50 episodes of the Game Show, just replay the Sorry! Sliders minigame independently and with the proper combination of skill and luck, you will win and earn this trophy.

Won a game of Yahtzee Bowling against the Computer Player

Like every other game, winning a game of Yahtzee Bowling requires you to win two rounds out of three.

I do not believe there is any strategy at all to how you roll the ball down the lane so long as you knock over all of the pins every time.

To win a round of Yahtzee Bowling, you must have a better set of 5 dice than your opponent. The dice set hierarchy is similar to that of poker. For example, three-of-a-kind beats two-of-a-kind. For a full scoring reference, click here. You have one main roll and two re-rolls during each round. The strategy is fairly simple. If you have a poor hand, you want to keep the best dice you have and re-roll the others. If you have a strong hand you may only want to re-roll one die or none at all.

You will no doubt win at least one of the 50 games of Yahtzee Bowling you'll be required to play, but if you don't, just replay the Yahtzee Bowling minigame independently. Beat the computer at a game of Yahtzee Bowling to pop this trophy.

Dead Eye
Knocked over every pin with one throw in Yahtzee Crazy Bowling Lane

In Yahtzee Bowling Crazy Lane, three additional pins are placed in the lane, bringing the pin total to 8. This trophy requires you to knock over all 8 pins with one roll. You will want to adjust your position and launch angle such that you can roll the ball into the nearest pin and the wall it's closest to, sending the pin down the lane to take out one of the three in-lane pins while the ball caroms off the ball and take out the other in-lane pin, eventually culminating in a giant mess of pins that have all been knocked over.

Play the Yahtzee Bowling Crazy Lane version outside of the Game Show. Knock over all 8 pins with one ball to pop this trophy.

Yahtzee!
Got Yahtzee

A "Yahtzee" occurs when you have five of a kind--when you have all five dice showing the same number.

In Yahtzee Bowling you get one roll and two re-rolls. After your first roll, keep whichever dice you have the greatest number of and re-roll the rest. For example, if you have 1-1-3-4-5 after your first roll, keep 1-1 and re-roll 3-4-5. Then repeat this process for your third roll. Then repeat that process in every round of Yahtzee Bowling until you pop this trophy.

Yahtzees aren't tough to come by so you'll earn one in no time, giving you this trophy.

Knocked down over 600 pins in Yahtzee (lifetime total)

Each game of Yahtzee Bowling comprises 2-3 rounds. Each round comprises as many as 3 rolls. In each roll, you can knock over as many as 5 pins.

If you play an average of 2.5 rounds of Yahtzee Bowling per game and you play 50 games (which you will do in order to get Super-Star!) and you re-roll all 5 dice at every opportunity, that's 1,875 pins you'll knock over. This means you will not have to worry about farming this trophy.

Once you have knocked over 600 pins, this trophy will pop.
