[top]Tips & Strategies

  • Explore the levels. There are often SaberSense chips and extra lives hidden in vents, around corners, and under platforms.
  • Destroy boxes and crates. There is health, ammo, and SaberSense chips inside of them.
  • Each time you encounter a new enemy, scan it to learn it's weaknesses and to work towards you Intelligence Expert trophy.

[top]Trophies

[top]
100% Complete!
You have unlocked every other trophy.

After earning the 44 other bronze, silver, and gold trophies, the platinum trophy will be awarded.

[top]
G-Force Trainee
Completed game on "Easy" difficulty setting.

Finish the game on any difficulty to earn this trophy. If you play on easy, I would try to beat the game in under eight hours so you earn the G-Force Rapid Response Agent trophy. This can be hard to do on your first playthrough, and it's nearly impossible to do if you want to collect all the data disks. See G-Force Rapid Response Agent for more information.

[top]
G-Force Recruit
Completed game on "Normal" difficulty setting.

Finish the game on any difficulty Normal or higher to earn this trophy. You will probably want to play on a harder difficulty so you can earn this trophy, as well as the ones for the harder difficulties.

[top]
G-Force Agent
Completed game on "Challenging" difficulty setting.

Finish the game on Challenging or above difficulty. This is the highest difficulty available at the beginning. If you beat the game on a higher difficulty, you will receive all the trophies for beating the game on the lower difficulties as well. So this is a good difficulty for a first playthrough (unless you think you can beat it in under eight hours on easy your first time around.) In this playthrough, I would also recommend collecting all the Silver Data Disks.

[top]
G-Force Special Agent
Completed the game on "Special Agent" difficulty.

Beat the game on any difficulty to unlock the Special Agent difficulty setting. Then beat the game again on Special Agent to receive the trophy.

[top]
Distinguished Service Medal
Completed game twice.

No glitch for this one, just beat the game twice. If you want to get the platinum in the two playthrough minimum, your first playthrough should be on Easy where you just pound through the game in less than eight hours for the G-Force Rapid Response Agent trophy and ignore the Silver Disks. Your second playthrough should be on Special Agent difficulty, since you need to beat the game once to unlock it anyway. On your Special Agent playthrough, you can go for all the disks and pick up any trophies you did not earn on your less than eight hours run.

[top]
G-Force Rapid Response Agent
Completed game in under 8 hours (on any difficulty setting).

I would recommend doing this on easy, although that could mean a third playthrough depending on how you go at it. You can play through the game your first time on easy, and try to get this trophy if you think you can handle the challenge, but that would mean you ignore most of the data disks and a few other trophies. It also can be hard beating the game in under eight hours on your first time. You have to beat the game twice anyway for a platinum, but one of those times has to be on the Special Agent difficulty setting, and that would be a pain in the ass to beat in under eight hours.
Every time you save your game, it will show you how long you've been playing. You can also view this if you quite the game and go to the Saved Data Utility on your XMB. Hover over the saved game file, and your playtime will be displayed.

Playing through the story, you will receive this trophy after the battle with the Torch (flashlight?) and finding out that the virus did not work.

[top]

Playing through the story, you will receive this trophy after shutting down both of the shuttles and taking the lift thing to the next area.

[top]
Mission Accomplished: "Assembly Lines"

Playing through the story, you will receive this trophy after stopping the plant from making more appliances. Go towards the exit, get on the lift, and a waffle iron will send you off course. That's when you'll get the trophy.

[top]
Mission Accomplished: "Chip Manufacture"
Progression.

Playing through the story, you will receive this trophy after destroying the two machines that are making the chips. This is done by using the motion sensor laser.

[top]

[top]

[top]
Mission Accomplished: "Clusterstorm"
Progression.

Playing through the story, you will receive this trophy after overloading Clusterstorm's core with Mooch.

[top]
Silver Data Disk Discoverer
Collected 50% (25) of all Silver Data Disks in the game.

A couple levels in you will be able to buy Data Disk Maps at kiosks. Always buy these in every level, as well as just the plain Map. They are very cheap, and won't break the bank at all. These maps are basically your in-game guide for obtaining the disks. Make sure to check your map to see the disk locations. Pick up a disk how you would any other item. There are some disks that only Mooch can reach, so make sure to fly around and look for vents and alternative ways to reach the disk.

[top]
Big Spender
Spent more than 10000 SaberSense chips at kiosks.

Kiosks are basically vending machines for upgrades, weapons, health, and supplies. This is where you spend the SaberSense chips you have picked up from fallen enemies, inside boxes, and scattered throughout levels. Approach a kiosk and hold to activate it. More upgrades will become available as you collect Silver Data Disks. Assuming you are going for the Master Agent and Tooled-Up Agent trophies, you will receive this trophy on the way.

[top]
Wealthy Agent
Accumulate more than 5000 SaberSense chips.

To receive this trophy you have to had 5000 SaberSense chips on you. This means you cannot spend them at the kiosk until you've reached the 5000 mark. The total number of chips you currently have is displayed in the top left corner of the screen directly under your health bar.
I would recommend holding off until 5th or 6th level to get this. Around that time, you should have a few weapons with some decent upgrades. Just continue playing through the game and only spend your chips on the maps and disk locations for a level or two, and you should receive this trophy in no time. After receiving the trophy, spend those chips to upgrade your weapons!

[top]
Tooled-Up Agent
Purchased all new weapons and weapon upgrades (excluding ammo capacity).

Collect SaberSense chips as you go through the levels. The chips can be found out in the open, hidden in corners and corridors, in containers, and from fallen enemies. Use the chips at kiosks to buy new weapons and upgrades. Gold disks, which are story related, unlock new weapons and upgrades for those weapons. For this trophy, all you need to do is buy all the weapons, and the two upgrades (one for the NanoHacker, and one for the Cluster Rifle.) Assuming you have already purchased all the weapons, and the one upgrade available to you, you will receive this trophy in the Satellite Center Basement (the level right after the FBI headquarters) after collecting the gold disk and buying the NanoHacker upgrade at a kiosk.

[top]
Master Agent
Fully upgraded character with all possible weapons and upgrades.

Collect EVERY SaberSense chip as you go through the levels. And I mean EVERY ONE. Go out of your way to search for them, because you'll need them all. The chips can be found out in the open, hidden in corners and corridors, in containers, and from fallen enemies. Use the chips at kiosks to buy new weapons, weapon upgrades, ammo capacity upgrades, health upgrades, and upgrades for Mooch. Gold disks, which are story related, unlock new weapons and upgrades for those weapons. Silver disks, which are not story related, unlock ammo capacity upgrades, health upgrades, and upgrades for Mooch. For this trophy, you need to collect all of the Silver and Gold Data Disks to unlock everything you need to buy at the kiosk. Instead of spending your hard earned chips on the maps at the kiosks, use this guide Silver Data Disk Locations - Xbox360Achievements.org. Since you need just about EVERY CHIP IN THE GAME to buy all the upgrades, this should make things a little easier on you. Buy upgrades as you go, and once you have acquired all of the disks, all of the upgrades will be available to you at a kiosk.

[top]
Combat Trainee
100 enemies defeated.

Anytime you encounter an enemy appliance, kill it. Most of the time you have to in order to progress through the story anyway. Press to use your Electro-Whip, which is great for close quarters combat. Or, hold and tap to fire with one of the guns you have equipped. I would recommend trying to kill as many enemies as you can without the whip, as there are trophies awarded for killing enemies with specific weapons.
Assuming you kill most of the enemies you see, you will receive this trophy early on in the game.

Assuming you kill most of the enemies you see, you will receive this trophy around the Distribution Center level.

Combat Veteran

Assuming you kill most of the enemies you see, you will receive sometime around the second RDV sequence.

[top]
Plasma Gun Expert
Defeated 100 enemies with Plasma Gun.

Select the Plasma Gun by pressing (slot it's assigned to when you first get it,) then hold to aim, and tap to fire. Try killing as many enemies as possible in the beginning of the game with the Plasma Gun, as they are fairly easy to defeat.

[top]
Cluster Rifle Expert
Defeated 100 enemies with Cluster Rifle.

Select the Cluster Rifle by pressing (slot it's assigned to when you first get it,) then hold to aim, and tap to fire. This is the second weapon you receive, and it it noticeably weaker than the Plasma Gun, however its one advantage is it's higher rate of fire. Don't bother trying to take out the toasters with the Cluster Rifle until you upgrade it's ammo capacity at a kiosk, unless you want to weaken them first with one of your other weapons. This weapon works great for the CPU fans and the optical mice though. Once your ammo capacity is upgraded, you can pretty much take out anything near the beginning of the game with it, so just keep using it on your enemies until you are awarded for your efforts with the trophy.

[top]
Flame Thrower Expert
Defeated 100 enemies with Flame Thrower.

Once you are able to buy this weapon, do so. Equip it by holding , , or and selecting it from your menu. This can be a bitch to get since you get the weapon so late in the game, and the ammo capacity for it sucks. My suggestion is just stick with it. Buy ammo for it if you have to, and use it on as many enemies as possible.

[top]
Freeze Gun Expert
Defeated 100 enemies with Freeze Gun.

Once you are able to buy this weapon, do so. Equip it by holding , , or and selecting it from your menu. To earn kills for this trophy, fire the weapon while aiming at an enemy, and hold the trigger until the enemy freezes. Then, hit the enemy with your Electro-Whip. The best enemies to do this on are the CPU fans. But anything small will work too. Don't bother trying to freeze the larger enemies, as it will take way too much ammo, and you probably won't be able to kill them before they unfreeze.

[top]
Shot Bolter Expert
Defeated 100 enemies with Shot Bolter.

Once you are able to buy this weapon, do so. Equip it by holding , , or and selecting it from your menu. It's a great weapon for close up, think of it as a shotgun basically. It can annihilate enemies in a few hits, and some of them in one. Keep killing appliances with it throughout the game until you are awarded the trophy.

[top]
Incendiary Charge Grenadier
Defeated 50 enemies with Incendiary Charges.

After you encounter a microwave, you will discover that how they attack you is by sucking up a CPU fan, microwaving it turning it into a kamikaze CPU fan, which then runs toward you and explodes. After it explodes (or if you shoot it first) it will drop a incendiary grenade. Pick up the grenade with and throw it into the microwave to kill it. Before you do this though, use the grenades to kill the other CPU fans. There are a few times in the game when you can do this, but there is one location where it is much easier. Check out the video for more info.

[top]
RDV Pulse Cannon Expert
Defeated 50 enemies with RDV Pulse Cannon.

When in the RDV, press to fire the Pulse Cannon. The great thing about the pulse cannon is that you have infinite ammo. Shoot as many enemies as you can.
There are two sequences in the game where you are driving the RDV, and between the two of them there are more than enough enemies to kill. If you are having trouble getting this trophy, just loose all your lives while in one of the RDV sequences and let it load the sequence for you again. The kills you made before will carry over.

[top]
RDV Homing Missile Expert
Defeated 50 enemies with RDV Homing Missiles.

When in the RDV, hold to activate the Homing Missiles. Hover your target over enemies and let go to fire. You can lock on to multiple enemies at once. If you are running low on Homing Missile ammo, shoot open boxes and drive near them to pick up ammo.

[top]
NanoHack Expert
Defeated 50 enemies using NanoHacked enemies.

Once you are able to buy this weapon, do so. Equip it by holding , , or and selecting it from your menu. To hack an enemy, aim at them and hold . Once the enemy is hacked it will turn a purple/blue color, and attack the other appliances. It only stays hacked for a short while, at times ammo for the NanoHacker can be scarce. Don't bother hacking an enemy if the only other enemies around are the same, unless you want to weaken the other enemies with a few shots first. Some good enemies/situations to hack are as follows:
  • Coffee makers
  • Weaponized vacuums (the one with the flash works best)
  • Headphones vs 2 or 3 optical mice
  • Water coolers vs small ground enemies
  • Toasters vs ground enemies
  • Soda coolers
  • Fire extinguishers

[top]
Sharpshooter
Achieved an average hit rate of at least 80% with projectile weapons.

To earn this trophy, you must complete the game with a 80% hit rate or higher with your projectile weapons. So basically everything except the Electro-Whip. Aim. Don't go all willy-nilly with you guns. Just make sure you can hit your target before you fire. This can be something you earn on your first playthrough.

[top]
Marching Agent
Walk more than 20km with Darwin.

You will receive this trophy during the game without trying assuming that you don't fly everywhere on your jet pack (yes, I know it's cool, but don't you want the trophy?) What's great about this trophy, is that the game considers driving the RDV walking. I actually earned this trophy during the 2nd RDV sequence.

[top]
G-Force Wings
Fly more than 2km with Mooch.

You should receive this trophy without even trying, assuming that you are going for the data disks. There are lots of places only Mooch can go, and if you explore the levels you should get this no problem. If however you near the end of the game and you have not yet received the trophy, just fly around with mooch for a bit until you do.

[top]
Intelligence Expert
Scan 100 items in the game.

This trophy is awarded after scanning 100 DIFFERENT items in the game with the Saberlizer. To scan an item, select the Saberlizer and hold to aim. Hover over a scannable item (they will be a kind of blue/purple color and the Sabelizer will lock onto them) and hold to scan the item. Anytime you see a new type of crate, give it a scan. Whenever you meet a new enemy, give it a scan. Scan doors, door panels, vent covers, health pick up, ammo pick up, extra lives, kiosks, computers, basically anything you can interact with. Just don't bother scanning identical items more than once. Do this throughout the game, and you should probably receive the trophy somewhere inside the FBI headquarters.
