Acquire Poseidonís Rage Story Related and Cannot be Missed.
This is the first ability and probably the first trophy you will earn in the game. In the first level, the Aegean Sea, after changing ships using the rope you will eventually drop down below the deck and find a blue flame with a shining icon in in the air. When you walk into it you will earn the Poseidon Rage ability. This is my favorite ability in the game, and the second most powerful one. It's works perfectly on big groups of enemies, and when upgraded you can keep pressing
to deal more damage to enemies. This is also the best ability to use when you have to get Hitman
and Hitman 2
, but about that later. The ability is selected when you hit
and then press
Acquire Medusaís Gaze Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This is the second ability Kratos will earn during his adventures. Medusa's Gaze is achieved by defeating Medusa, in the Gates of Athens section of the game, quite quickly after you enter Athens, you will get through a room full of boxes with a camera in eagle view. After you got through that room, drop down and step into the Green shining light, and a cutscene will commence, where Medusa will appear. She is the same as all the other gorgons you will need to face, just a bit tougher. Block or dodge the tail hits and use Poseidon's Rage to quickly finish her off. When she is using the green light ability, dodge it as you will turn into stone and have to shake out of it, or she will destroy you. After dealing a load of damage to her, the circle will appear over her head, so hit
and complete the few timed events. After thats done, you will rip her head off and get the Medusa's Gaze Ability.
You have to select it by pressing the
on the keypad and then press and hold
in order for it to work. The ability is most useful against Minotaurs, the rest of the enemies are better of taken out differently. Remember Gorgons are immune to this ability, so I suggest using Poseidon's Rage on them instead.
Acquire Zeusí Fury Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This is the third ability you will gain in your quest, which is found in the Rooftops of Athens part of the game. After you have fired the giant crossbow through the door, and then walked through you will find the yellow icon of a Lightning Bolt in yellow flames, and you'll receive Zeus' Fury. The ability can be used to defeat enemies from a distance, like a long range spell. It is later used to kill a coward guard who doesn't want to turn a lever in order to let you pass. It's a good ability to use on archers when they are a distance away, and they will help in attacking enemies from a distance. Also it uses the least amount of Magic bar.
The ability is selected by pressing the
keypad and then used by pressing and holding down
to shoot enemies. The enemies that are shining by the purple-like light are the ones that are targeted when shot. You can switch targets by moving the right stick.
Acquire Blade of Artemis Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This is the alternative weapon you will get. After entering Pandora's Temple, and getting the lever, spinning it until you find the new door with the flame in, where afterwards you're set on a task to complete the Challenge of the Atlas to unlock the next ring. At the beginning of it you will walk through the shining ray with the logo of the weapon. This weapon is slow and has less combo's but is really effective against many enemies. The best example are Undead, Sirens, Gorgons or puppy Cerebrus. The weapon is activated by pressing
simultaneously, and I recommend using it for some of the battles with multiple enemies. Upgrading it will also help, but on that in the Seeing Red
Blade of Artemis
Acquire Army of Hades Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This is the last, and by far the most powerful of the abilities you will get during your quest to defeat Ares. This one is achieved after defeating Pandora's Guardian within the Challenge of Hades. He is the huge Minotaur boss with armor on that requires you to remove and then shoot 'logs' at him in order to defeat him. You will get Army of Hades straight after the battle when you are told to continue forward inside the Challenge of Hades. The ability deploys a group of dark shadows that attack nearby enemies and usually defeat them, leaving you nothing to do during a battle (usually). This, combined with Poseidon's Rage is pretty much an instant killer to the enemy. To activate it you need to press the
keypad, and then press
where Kratos will perform an animation of bowing down and waving his blades to release the 'Army of Hades'.
Army of Hades
Win the first Minotaur fight Story Related and cannot be Missed.
You will find your first Minotaur fight when you're on the Gates of Athens section, you will take an elevator upstairs after leaving the boat and then, you will meet a set of Minotaurs in your way. They're main weakness is the Medusa's Gaze but at that point you do not have the ability, and will have to defeat them using standard methods and Posiedon's Rage, which works just as well. You will need to dodge their axes quite a bit, and attacking them from the front isn't too great as they can block your attacks. Also they will smash their axes into the ground at some point, creating a mini-wave that can be avoided by jumping over it or remaining in the air. Continue dodging and attacking the Minotaur until when prompted hit
and you will initiate a sequence where you will have to repeatedly hit
in order to stab the Minotaur into it's throat. These are one of the more frequent monsters you will encounter on your quest, but using Medusa's Gaze will make it much easier, as they will freeze and can be smashed with a good
combo, or any other well damaging attack you can think of. After defeating the 3-4 of them the trophy will appear.
Win the first Satyr fight Story Related and cannot be Missed.
The most painful enemy in the game, but you will not have to meet it until you get out of the Rings of Pandora, towards the Cliffs of Madness. After taking the elevator to the next level from the center of the Pandora's Temple and walking a bit, there will be a cutscene of a Satyr leaning against a wall then jumping down in style to fight
. Satyrs have a double bladed staff of some sort that they use as a weapon, and use it quite well... They will block the majority of your attacks, unless put off guard, and they will launch you across the map or into your death with their stupid staff. The key thing is to notice, as the weapon will go a bit blue before they are making their attack. Counter attacks and Poseidon's Rage are the best for them. I also like to launch them into the air and then hit away as that's when they are very weak! They can also hit you when they're getting back up from the ground. You can also press
when close enough to their death, that will be the finishing move. If not you and the Satyr will press against eachother with your weapons, where you must in a quick succession press
Roll Over Ö and Die
Win the first Cerberus fight Story Related and cannot be Missed.
After you get out of the water within the Challenge of Poseidon, you will face a cutscene where a small Cerberus pup will turn into a Huge three-headed Cerberus that you will need to face in order to win. Not only that, he will have a huge amount of little Cerberus pups around, which if not taken care of quickly, will turn into a huge one. I find the best strategy is to ignore the big guy, and just run up and
or use the Blade of Artemis to quickly dispose of the little guys. That way once there is only one or two spawned you can finish the group as a whole using Poseidon's Rage, and eventually very little of pups or even none will be spawning, meaning you can kill off the Big Guy. There are many other strategies that could be used, but that seemed to have worked the best for me. Also when a
appears above the big ones head, you can do it to take out one of it's 3 heads. Make sure to also dodge the fire blasts, as overall they can turn out deadly.
Donít They Ever Shut Up!
Defeat the Desert Sirens Story Related and cannot be Missed.
The Sirens appear in the Desert of Lost Souls part of the Game. When you enter the desert and finding the first Siren near the door to the first Horn, you must defeat the Siren. It's not too difficult, just make sure you dodge it's attacks, but the Sirens are more of a dodge and hit enemy, where they will attempt to dodge most of your attacks. After the first is low on health you are prompt to hit
. After you do, Kratos will snap their necks and release the blue soul to fill a slot in the insignia on the door.
Next you will need to walk around the desert and locate 2 more Sirens. It shouldn't be difficult to find them, they will be singing, and so if you hear their unique voice, go towards it until it gets louder, and you find the siren. The following two will spawn additional two Minotaurs to aid themselves, but you are not required to kill those. Again same as with the first, defeat the Siren then hit
to release the soul and open the door.
After sounding the first horn and getting to the second you will encounter another lot of Sirens, this time they will be combat hungry and you will have to defeat them, in order to pass. They are not too difficult to defeat and shouldn't cause much of a problem.
After defeating all of the above Sirens the trophy should pop, when you attempt to sound the second Horn.
Beat a Dead Horse
Complete the Centaur sacrifice to Hades Story Related and cannot be Missed.
During the Challenge of Hades you will have to get a statue to sacrifice blood to open a door. You will need to kill Centaurs in two purple circles until they disappear. You will need to kill four of them in the circle, and you as well as them have to be in the circle for it to count. After you killed four in one of the rings, do so in the other, and after you have killed 8 centaurs in total, a cutscene will commence where all the old centaurs will disappear. Then the trophy will pop. It's not too difficult to kill the centaurs but the only problem is they attack in big groups, so Poseidon's Rage is perfect for this.
Complete the Spike Room Box Puzzle
Story Related and cannot be Missed.
I found this puzzle fairly annoying, and it has to be done to go further in the story. While in the Cliffs of Madness, you need to get two necklaces, and one of which is the Necklace of Aphrodite. In order to get it, you will need to get through a room with many holes in the floor. The Objective is to pull the lever, and get the box to the other side of the area in order to be able to reach a ledge at the top, in order to retrieve it. It's not easy, the timer is fairly quick so you need to time your pushes and make sure you jump quickly. Expect failure, as most likely that when you do it, you will be a couple seconds off from jumping or reaching the ledge. Keep calm, frustration will not help in here. Also do not use the exploit, as it will not grant you the trophy.
After you pull the lever, push out the box a little bit until you can go on the other side of it. Then do so and kick it as far as possible(hold down until Kratos cannot go any further) and quickly run towards it. Go to the side of the box thats towards the screen, and then do another charged push, but to almost full extend. After that quickly run up and manually push the box towards the ledge. Then you should have just enough time to run up, jump on and grab the ledge before the blades extend. The box should be where the majority of the blood marks are, in order to be in an accessible distance, as right by the wall might not work (you will probably run out of time).
Rockiní the Boat
Complete the Sex Mini-Game Missable Trophy!
After you retrieve the Captain's Key from the stomach of Hydra, in the Aegean Sea portion of the game, you will go back to a door that was previously locked, and enter it. You will get a cutscene of zombies killing Kratos and other things happening. Afterwards you will appear in a bedroom with two women on the bed. Jump on it and click
to do one of the God of War infamous sex mini-games. This requires you to press different buttons or move the left analog in different directions, which is shown on the screen. After you do that you will get the trophy. Don't go too far forwards without doing this as you will not be able to go back. It's one of the missables of the game, but difficult to miss if you play it right.
Donít Leave Her Hanging
Rescue the Oracle with 10 seconds to spare Missable Trophy!
Another Missable trophy that you will come across. When you have followed the harpy that took Oracle, at the end of the Athens part you get to a point where Oracle will fall and be hanging by the rope. You will have to push two statues on top of eachother in order to get to a climbable area. Once you're on the Climbable area, another cutscene will happen, where you see the Oracle barely hanging on. In order to get the trophy, you must get onto the big plate, that the statue of Athena is holding, and then jump towards the rope with Oracle on. This should easily be possible, but make sure you're being precise on the wooden walkways and timing your jumps well on the ropes. You should easily do it with around 20 seconds to spare, but for the trophy you need to do it before the 10 seconds left on the timer. If you go below that, just restart checkpoint, or drop down to the ground, which will kill you.
Get the Ball Rolling
Complete the Challenge of Atlas Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This is the first of the 3 Challenges inside the Temple of Pandora. The Challenge of Atlas begins after you have received the Blade of Artemis. In order to succeed you need to complete a few tasks inside the area.
Shields of Zeus and Hades:
This is the first part of the Challenges, as you are tasked to retrieve two shields, one belonging to Zeus, the other to Hades, to open a door inside the Challenge of Atlas, and in order to advance. The Zeus one is fairly simple, you need to get the cart full of rocks near the stairs of the weird door, that turns when you stand on the button, and charge kick the chest towards the button, then quickly roll inside past the door. This will take a few tries, but shouldn't be too taxing. After that continue to get the shield. For the other, the one of Hades, go back to the starting room and head upstairs, until you get to a lever (make sure to defeat everyone). It will cause a rope to drop down, which you will use to slide down below through the crevice in the ground. After that you need to get through until you reach the shield and get it, where afterwards there is a sliding wall coming towards you, and you need to defeat a lot of enemies to get the red demon wall to go away. Here is the best place to get 200 Combo, so make sure you get Hitman 2
here. Just use Poseidon's Rage as well as
(air) to get out of here.
Now go back upstairs and open that door using the two shields...
Saws, Trap-floors, Cranks... But Can Atlas even Lift?
You will go past a saw-blade room, which I suggest you ignore for now. It can be done later, as firstly you need to obtain a switch handle. Continue to the left, where you get outside. Continue until you reach a church like building with the trapdoor-floor. Here you will need to quickly defeat the bunch of enemies in order for the floor to stop and you to access the switch. Use quick techniques, and make sure to hit
over the Siren heads when you can! This shouldn't be too difficult, but can cause a problem, as Sirens are very good at dodging.
From here, you need to quickly turn the two switches and get through the door. This can be annoying but you will need to time your jumps well, as getting hit by a saw will drop your chances a lot. Afterwards quickly get through the door. Make sure you move diagonally as this is the best way to avoid the saws.
Final part is very easy, you reach an Atlas Statue, defeat the few enemies and then get up, to turn the handle. When you turn it the statue should move and lastly throw the ball, opening you an exit to outside, where you will need to rip a head off a dead Architect in the coffin. Before going out don't forget to pick up the Muse Key from behind the statue in order to help get Key to Success.
Rip off the head, and head down the newly found stairs, back to the Circles of Pandora...
Trophy will pop after Atlas throws his ball...
Complete the Human sacrifice
Story Related and cannot be Missed.
You will come to the Human Sacrifice part during the Challenge of Poseidon, where you will come to a steep uphill and a lot of cages hanging on the roof, with soldiers in. Pull the lever and one will drop down. What you now need to do is push it forward, up the hill, and let the rocks hold the cage, if you need to take out the enemies. This shouldn't be too difficult, but if you don't put your cage blocked by the rocks, it will go back down to the bottom, which can be annoying as also enemies will respawn again. The latter part is the most annoying as enemies will respawn a lot. After you're done, just put it onto the button which will make the sides roll out, and pull the lever. Enjoy the grill...
You can get this in the Challenge of Poseidon, when swimming through the underwater depths you will come across a creature known as a Nyad. They do not fight you, and if you swim up to it and press
it will grant you a reward (one gives a Phoenix Feather!). The first one will be in plain view, so just kiss it and get the trophy! They will be blue like ghost creatures swimming around during the Challenge of Poseidon.

Free yourself from the depths of Hades
Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This is one of the last story trophies you will get, after you get out of Hades, the trophy should pop. This should be after the cutscene where the 'mysterious gravedigger' drops you a rope to get out, and you appear back in destroyed Athens.
Zero Health= Bronze Trophy
Open a Health Chest when your health meter is already full Very Difficult to Miss, but still Missable!
You will need to open a Green Health Chest, while in full health! This is a very easy trophy, and can easily be attainable early on in the game as there will be weak enemies and lots of chests. You have to make sure your health is full, then open the chest, and the trophy will pop. Not much to say here other, as it will come naturally.
Green Health Chest
Get a 100 Hits Combo Very Difficult to Miss, but still Missable!
This should come naturally in many area's of the game... but see Hitman 2
for a good place to get it. For this one I'd say when you get Poseidon's Rage, is the first place you can easily get this without trying.
Getting My Ass Kicked
Die enough times to get offered Easy Mode Missable!
Very easy trophy, but you need to start on Normal or higher difficulty. You will probably get this naturally, but you can just die 5 times on the first lot of enemies you meet, then switch to easy and complete the game
You have to die on one checkpoint five times for it to offer you easy mode, and of course this is missable if you're an elite who never dies on God of War.

Itís the HUGE One
Retrieve the Captainís Key
Story Related and cannot be Missed.
You will get this trophy upon beating the Hydra and getting the key from the Captain from inside the main head in the Aegean Sea part of the game. It will pop right after the cutscene that occurs inside the head. The Hydra heads are not too difficult either, the two smaller ones you have to beat up until they fall over then crush them with that harpoon thing floating in the air by the rope, that you can jump on, and the bigger one will trigger multiple sequences until there is no more mast left, where you stab its head fully into it.
Take the Bull by the Horns
Defeat Pandoraís Guardian Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This battle occurs at the end of the Challenge of Hades section, where you are near the huge door. After you go up to it, the giant Minotaur covered with Armor who will jump at you. You need to defeat his armor with the bolt logs then when he is armor less, shoot one last log thing from the back of the room at him. I suggest you stay at the back on the platform. The first part he will run up and throw attacks at you, dodge those and hit back. After a while he will retreat back and repeat the same thing. Do the same as last time until he runs back and curls down with a
over his head. This is your call to run up, do the stuff, then go back up, fire the bolt log thing at him, destroying his armor. You will now have to repeat the above two more times, until he is Armor-less. Thats your call to do the final part of the fight, where he will do the same, go back to the back, and then thats where you shoot him one last time, to end him once and for all
Story Related and cannot be Missed.
The fight with Ares is your final battle in the game, and also the most epic one
It's known as the most Epic Moment from the God of War Saga, according to Playstation, so play it right
The strategy is to block his attacks, and counter with
, as well as use magic where applicable. I will go through a Stage by Stage guide here
Here you are freshly increased in size after opening the Pandora's box. Your goal is to deplete Ares' life to 0 and then finish him off with a final button sequence. The best thing is to Block and Dodge his attacks, and then counter with your own attacks, and use magic if you have to. You will eventually receive some of his health after a few successful hits on him. After you are done with this part, do the button sequence, but remember if you only do the first button, let yourself get thrown off, and then keep doing it you can do the Infinite Red Orb exploit, which I cover in
Seeing Red trophy description. After the fight watch the cutscene, and prepare for Stage 2!
After the cutscene, you should notice you are sucked into the otherworld plane that Ares put you into. Your goal is to defend your family from Kratos Clones, which are evil versions of you. They are weak, but they come in great numbers, so watch out! Your best bet is unleashing Poseidon's Rage and Army of Hades at them, and then bolting out the ones on the flying platform behind everything. When your family is low on life you can offer them your own life to heal them up. This part is the most difficult as many Kratos' come at you, and eventually you run out of magic. The enemies give a little bit of it, but not enough. After you're done, another cutscene will commence.
This is where you are powerless, and can only rely on that crappy sword. Your life and Ares' life are joined, and its a lot like a tug of war, where the winner is the one to get their life over to the other sides end. Your best bet here is to block all his attacks, then when he is laughing/shouting in your face, hit him a couple of times with
. Sometimes a clash will happen where if you mash
you will take a load of his life over to you. The only move you can't block is when he flies up and back and causes some rocks to hit together to form an explosion that will kill you if you're within it. When he does it quickly dodge out before the rocks hit you. This can be the most annoying part, as a lot of patience is involved, and don't risk using
's as they take too long and he will hit you before you can block. After you have defeated him, watch the cutscene.
Obtain the head of the Architectís wife
Story Related and cannot be Missed.
This will pop after you get the second head from inside the Architects Tomb, after the Cliffs of Madness section of the game. After you fight a load of cyclops, open the three gates, and go inside and see the cutscene. Finally then go behind the chair and rip the Architects Wife's head off, afterwards the trophy should pop.
The Power to Kill a God
Retrieve Pandoraís Box
Story Related and cannot be Missed.
You will get this after you have got out of the architects tomb and enter the room with the three statues, where you pull the handle back from the ball to reveal the magical Pandora's Box! Just drag it out and then a cutscene will play where you get the trophy.
Get a 200 Hits Combo Missable!
This trophy is a second part of one of the bronze trophies called Hitman
. This time you need to get a 200 hit combo, which is very easy to achieve throughout the game, and there are many points you can get those at. I will only list 3 of the best ones, but if you have any better please comment and I will add them in
The place I got it at is in the Challenge of Atlas, when you get the Shield of Hades and the wall starts coming towards you. This is the best place to spam Poseidon's Rage and get the 200 hit combo, as there are more than enough enemies, and I hit a good 800 hit combo here, so it should be easy. There is not much else to say than
and get that combo to over 200.
Another location is before that, but you need to time it right. When you get into the beginning area, before where you chose to go either down to get Shield of Hades or to the side to get Shield of Zeus, many enemies will spawn. Wait until they are fully spawned and use Poseidon's Rage. If you time it right, the next lot will spawn and you will be able to get those as well, without breaking the combo. This can be attainable here, but there will be Medusa's spawning and they can be annoying in this instance.
The last location is during Stage 2 of Ares fight, where you can Poseidon Rage + Army of Hades the mass of Kratos Clones that are attacking your family. This should easily net you over 800+ combo too, if done right
This is the last hope, so if you fail here, kill yourself or restart from checkpoint.
Of course it is also easily attainable in the speed run when using Dairy Bastard, as I have managed to go over 2000 when doing that.
Legend of the Twins
Watch the ĎBirth of the Beastí Treasure
This is unlocked after the game is complete. Once you complete the game on any difficulty, head to the treasures section and find the film "Birth of the Beast" and watch it. It's not very long, and quite interesting considering you might want to play God of War: Ghost of Sparta. You can't skip it, but then it's not too long, you can always go do something else while it's playing though I do not recommend that. Easy
Max out all Weapons and Magic Missable!
For this trophy you need to max out all your upgrades
It's rather easy to do, and should come naturally throughout the game, but if you still feel worried about it, do the Infinite Orb Glitch. If you open majority of the red orb chests, and explore further you should be able to have most your upgrades done before the fight with Ares, and he gives a lot of Red Orbs too. You will want to kill all the enemies too and make sure you upgrade it as you go so that you know how much left you need and its easier to go through the game
Also you can just easily get it on your speed run when using Dairy Bastard, as you will have infinite magic and can easily defeat all the enemies. Worked for me, as I managed to max myself on the speed run too

Do the first button, but skip the second and he will throw you back giving you 1,000 free Red Orbs. Do this until you have enough, but you will also get 4,000 for doing it all correctly, and more red orbs for doing Stage 2 and 3 correctly
Shouldn't be too difficult
Prepare to be a God
Beat the Game on any Difficulty Story Related and cannot be Missed.
The final trophy you will get after you complete the story. The Main game isn't too difficult and you should aim to do it either on Normal or Easy difficulty. You must start on Normal or higher to get Getting My Ass Kicked
, but afterwards you can switch to easy. I suggest you try finish the game on Normal as there isn't much difference and you can get a feel of what the Challenge of the Gods will be like. After you complete the game you should gain many unlockables, in order to get those couple of trophies left. Afterwards I suggest you also do the speed run. The Game ends when you sit on the Chair, and the credits roll...
You Got the Touch!
Climb the Spiked Column in Hades without taking damage Missable!
This trophy can be achieved near the end of the Hades section. There are two pillars with many steel spike swords coming out that you have to climb in order to get up. I recommend doing it on the first one as it is much easier. You will take a lot of tries on this as you will need to practice the way it rotates and where the right gaps are. Each pillar is split into different sections that rotate. I suggest taking it much slower, but if you think you can do a jump up to get some more space, hit
! I suggest you practice out to find the route first, and if you get hit, just hit start and restart checkpoint. This way you can then try again. Make sure you do so though or the trophy wont pop, if you by any chance hit the blades! Any hit to the blades will result in a fall to the bottom, so you will know when you hit it. I do not recommend doing the second, bigger pillar, as it is far more annoying to do. Remember you can also climb down a bit if you have to as well as to the sides, but don't go too far to one side or you will find it more difficult to dodge the blades. It's not really that difficult but can easily get frustrating.
Iíll Take the Physical Challenge
Complete the Challenge of the Gods
Challenge of the Gods is the special challenge found inside the Treasures section in the Main Menu. It's unlocked upon completing the main story on any difficulty and can be quite a challenge to some, but easy to the others
The only problem I found with them is that you can't quit with the challenge being saved and you will start back from #1, meaning you have to do them all in one go
You can die and only restart the same challenge you die on, so don't worry.
You will need to push all of the enemies on the platform, down into their demise. You cannot kill them, as it will count as a failure to the challenge. The best thing to do is run into them and press
, which causes the grabbing animation to be performed. The grab will fail, but the enemy will be pushed back, and doing so you can push them all back
Remember you have a time limit so be quick about it and get them off the ledge!
Alternate Video Help
There are many platforms here, and your goal is to take out all the archers and the soldiers on the platforms, while defending against infinite number of harpies. The best thing to do is use Army of Hades and the
(Air) Attack on the ones in the big platform, while the archers on little platforms can be taken out with a simple dash (
when running)! Charging the
(Air) attack, also known as Lance of the Furies ingame, can be used to push them off the platform to their death
I found this fairly possible in the time limit.
Destroy all the pots within the time limit. Fairly easy, I went into the circle, did a
(Air) attack, fully charged, then took out the rest just using single
attacks. This can be a bit annoying with having one or two left to do, but it can easily be managed within the time limit.
This is an annoying challenge, as you have to take out the Minotaurs without killing the soldiers. There is no time limit for this, so you can take as long as you need to. The Minotaurs can harm but not kill the soldiers. The best strategy for me was go into the air and hit
over the Minotaur heads. This way you can hit them, but not the soldiers. Another good strategy is to use Medusa's Gaze but only on the Minotaurs, then smash them up without killing the soldiers. There are 6 Minotaurs to be defeated.
This is one of the most annoying challenges, as you have to fire a huge crossbow into a bunch of undead, without hitting normal soldiers. It's all about timing and learning how the crossbow shoots. If you look on the right there is a bit cracked away, and I always bulled back
and pull back on the
to fire the crossbow, which should now hit the undead that was on the cracked section. The ones behind it will not be damaged, as one shot will only take out one and the bullet will die out. Again if you find an easier method, then use that, it's all about trying it out to see how it works.
You have to get to the last platform, jumping across moving platforms with archers shooting at you. This one is fairly easy but remember the archers arrows are explosive, hence they will remain in the ground until the explode. The ones on the platform you can simple ignore or rush into, if you ignore they cannot turn around to shoot you, but they might try push you off.
You cannot get hit. You need to keep using Lance of the Furies
(Air) and throw them up using
as well as use some air moves like
(Air), occasionally when you feel you have some space. Keep dodging and avoid them at all costs. I have found it that also blocking attacks will frequently fail you for the challenge, so blocking cannot be used
This challenge is one of the most annoying in the lot.
Defeat all enemies. A lot of Gorgons here, so lots of dodging is suggested.
+ :x and
do great work here, as well as
(hold). I also used Lance of the Furies (As you know by now
[Air]) frequently as I found it that it chucks many of the gorgon off and kills them but then the flaw is you can get frozen in the air and killed. It happens frequently, so only use it if none of the gorgons are using
their Gaze on you.
Kill all the Cyclops within the time limit. I found this one of the easier challenges, as you can just go into the air and kill them off. Just watch out for the satyrs that come at you.
Those Satyrs pissed me off a lot...
(Both Air) for this challenge.
You are on a tiny platform in order to defeat enemies and raise the platform till you can jump to the next one! This is the toughest challenge yet, as you will face two Satyrs
and a trio of small Cerberus. The best thing is to chuck them into the air and wack away. This means
to chuck them into the air. The Satyrs are weak then, and thats the only way they wont block you. Cerberus are weak anyway, so you can just hit
to kick them off. Stay in the middle of the platform, and have all enemies on one side is good. Also frequently Block and Evade enemy attacks, as it will save you and try not to get thrown out of the platform by a Satyr. After the platforms are similar height, jump over. Make sure to jump and not to fail the challenge by missing the big platform

Beat the game in under 5 hours on any Difficulty Missable!
This is probably the last trophy you will get, and I suggest you do it on a second playthrough. You have to make sure you complete the game from start to finish in under five hours (for geeks it's 300 minutes). When beginning your second playthrough on easy, please make sure to select the Dairy Bastard costume, as it grants infinite Magic and will save a LOT of time during the combat sequences. I suggest you do everything the fastest possible, just run, keep running and if its your second playthrough, you know exactly what to do! Many battles are avoidable so just skip them and continue on. Also by rolling around and rushing (using
forward and then hit
to do the Hermes Rush) you will save much more time when going through. On some area's you still have to take it careful and slow as you need to be precise. Cutscenes and being in the
pause menu does not add to the time. Being in the upgrade menu does add to the time, and if you feel you messed up, restart the checkpoint in order to go back to the time record last time on that checkpoint, so dying will only go back to your first time reaching the place.
My times during the gameplay (hh/mm):
Defeated Hydra: 00:19
Saved Oracle: 00:58
Begin Challenge of Atlas: 01:23
End Challenge of Poseidon: 01:53
End of Challenge of Hades: 02:29
Architechts Tomb: 02:54 (+ got lost
Mt Olympus: 03:44
I could have easily finished earlier, but I made a few mistakes along the way, though even then I still easily made it. You should be able to achieve a time between 2:40-3:50 easily, as there is not much problem along the way. As long as you still have some time to kill Ares, it'll be okay
The trophy will pop when the credits roll.

Collect all of the Muse Keys Missable!
The Muse Keys are special keys that you have to collect to open a door inside the Rings of Pandora. That door will grant you the final upgrade in Magic and Health, and is accessible by spinning the outer ring of Pandora until a golden door is found. To make the door accessible, you need to find 2 out of the 4 available Muse Keys. The Muse Keys are available in the following locations:
- Challenge of Atlas: As Mentioned earlier, this one is found behind the statue of Atlas at the end of the Challenge of Atlas part of the game. It's the easiest to get, so I suggest you don't miss this one
- Challenge of Poseidon: When you get to the point where there is a room that spins, showing different Red Orb Chests, that eventually get spiked, continue on and then step outside. You need to climb up and get to a ledge. When you get up the ledge, you're supposed to go left, but turn RIGHT and go to the end, and find the second Muse Key!
- Challenge of Poseidon: When you're underwater and see the second Nyad, turn left at the path that splits and then go into a room where you swim up and defeat a bunch of enemies. There is a breakable wall at the back that hides this Muse Key. Of course if you found the two above, it will only contain Red Orbs.
- Challenge of Hades: When you've walked across all the beams and reach the part where you're about to finish by sliding down a rope, turn right and follow another beam (yes you're tired of them now...) to find a chest containing the last Muse Key! Of course if you found two of the three before this, it's just red orbs
