Players: 1-4
Online Play: Yes
Online Trophies: 1 (Get Connected)
Cheat Codes: None
Cheats Affect Trophies: N/A
Time to Platinum: 4-6 hours

Guide Note:

All of these trophies can be earned by playing the game casually by yourself or with family and friends in a short amount of time. Because this is a trophy guide, however, I have outlined tips to get them all in a much faster time frame, involving changing game settings to shorten the time, and by using a guest player as player two. With the exception of Boggle, which requires two controllers for two people, all trophies can be obtained with one controller to control two people.[/CENTER]

Games Master
Awarded all trophies.

Earn all other trophies in the game and you'll have this shiny platinum trophy to add to your collection.

Beginners Luck
Scored a hit on your first turn.

This is for Battleship. Using a guest player, set up the ships in an easy to remember order (all left to right, or top to bottom). Now you'll know where they are and you can take them down with ease. Play Salvo game mode using this method and you can earn the following trophies as well: Destroyed, Iron Bottom Sound, Make Every Shot Count.

Sunk your opponent’s destroyer before any other ship.

Refer to Beginner's Luck trophy. Remember where the destroyer is positioned and aim for it first.

Iron Bottom Sound
Sunk all of your opponent’s ships in Salvo within 4 turns.

Refer to Beginner's Luck trophy.

Make Every Shot Count
Sunk a ship longer than 3 units without missing in Battleship.

Refer to Beginner's Luck trophy.

Sea Commander
Won 20 games of Battleship.

The game mode doesn't matter. Choose a guest user to play with you and use the method described in Beginner's Luck. Repeat this for 20 games and you should get the trophy in about 25-30 minutes.

Boggle Beginner
Won a game of Boggle.

Choose "Custom" game and change the round time to 0:30. Find at least one word to win. Doesn't get much easier than that.

I Call Fives
Finished a game using only 5-letter words.

Choose "Word Hunt" from the Boggle menu. The entire word list will be displayed on the right-hand side during play to make things easier. Find at least one 5-letter word to unlock the trophy.

Portal Pro
Won 10 games of Boggle with Portal Cubes turned on.

Choose "Custom" from the Boggle menu. Go to "Settings" and make sure that "Portal Cubes" are enabled. Simply play 10 games with this setting and the trophy is yours. Change the round time to 0:30 to speed things up.

The Mighty 8
Spelled an 8-letter word in Boggle.

Choose "Word Hunt" from the Boggle menu. Since the entire word list is displayed for you, all you need to do is find one 8-letter word and enter it in.

Mind Boggling
Won 50 multiplayer games of Boggle.

If you have an extra controller, this trophy can be earned in about a half hour. Choose a guest user for player 2 and choose any game mode for Boggle. Change the settings so the round time is 0:30 and start playing. Let player 2 sit idle; find at least one word during the time limit and you've got yourself a win. Repeat until you reach 50 wins.

If you don't have an extra controller, you'll have to get this trophy by playing online. The problem with that is there aren't a lot of people online, so finding matches could be difficult if you don't have a boosting buddy.

Note: If you play multiplayer games while going for the other Boggle trophies, then those wins will help contribute toward this trophy, which makes it less time consuming.

Power Chip Collector
Won a game of Connect 4 using all of the Power Chip types at least once.

The Power Chips can be tricky to learn, and the AI doesn't leave much room for error, even on Novice difficulty. To make life simple, play against a guest player. Set yourself up all over the board, making sure to include the Power Chips in your layout. Once you're set, start connecting until you get the win, and the trophy.

Grid Lock
Finished a game with a draw by filling the whole board.

I got this by playing against the AI and raising the difficulty a couple notches. They play smarter this way, and aren't susceptible to common "traps" and baits, making it quite easy to finish with a draw.

Alternately, play against a guest and take turns filling the board, avoiding any Connect 4's. Not hard.

Cleverly Connected
Won a total of 10 games of Connect 4.

Play against a guest. Have the guest disperse their chips in random areas, making sure not to interfere with yours. On average it takes around 12-15 seconds per round this way, so you should get the trophy in a little over 2 minutes (including animations, etc.)

Won 4 single player rounds of Connect 4 in a row!

This has to be done against the AI. Set the difficulty to Novice if you'd prefer less of a challenge, and simply win 4 rounds in a row.

Note: If you know you're going to lose a round, quickly pause the game before the round ends and choose to restart. This won't affect your streak, and you continue playing toward earning the trophy.

Connect 4 Master
Won 50 games of Connect 4.

Refer to Cleverly Connected trophy.

Sorry! Starter
Won one game of Sorry!

Sorry! can be quite a long game even with just 2 players, let alone 4, so I recommend choosing only 1 opponent for time purposes. You can also play against a guest, but the AI isn't that bright on Novice difficulty, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Rainbow Dancing
Won a game of Sorry! after moving one pawn from each team back to the start zone.

I got this trophy after playing a full 4-player game with bonus cards enabled. Doing so earned me this trophy as well as All Out Defensive and Master of the Cards. You send your opponents back to the start zone either by landing on them, or using a Sorry! or Wipeout bonus card. Focus on hitting at least one pawn from each team and you'll get the trophy, so long as you win.

All Out Offensive
Moved 2 pawns from every opposing team back to the start in one game.

Same idea as Rainbow Dancing, except you need to make sure 2 pawns from each team get sent back to their start zone. You'll probably get this by playing normally, but you can keep track of who you've hit if you're worried at all.

Friendly Competition
Won a total of 5 games of Sorry!

Play at least one 4-player game to get the previous two trophies, and then continue by playing four more 2-player games. Not hard at all, but because Sorry! can be a long-ish game, it might take a bit of time.

Master of the Cards
Used all the Sorry! Bonus cards in one game.

This can be done against any amount of opponents, but I found the frequency at which some bonus cards appear varies depending on how many people are playing. For example, playing a 2-player game I was able to obtain and use only 3 of the 5 bonus cards. Wipeout and Steal would not appear no matter what. I then played a 4-player game and every card was appearing regularly. Below is a list of the bonus cards, and what they do:
  1. Freedom - Releases one pawn from their start zone from every team.
  2. Wipeout - Sends all players who are the furthest from their start zone, back to their start zone.
  3. Sideswipe - Allows you to move all the way to the opposite corner of the board, taking out any opposing players and sending them back to their start zone.
  4. Steal - Take one card from any opponent. You can choose any card, but you cannot see their value.
  5. All Change - Swaps all cards in your hand for a new set.

Fast Sliding
Won at Sorry! Sliders in under 5 minutes.

This trophy's almost impossible not to get if you're playing against just one opponent. Any more than that and you'll probably go over 5 minutes. Don't waste time during your turns and you should be good.

Novice Slider
Won one game of Sorry! Sliders.

This trophy and Fast Sliding kind of go hand in hand. Set the difficulty to Novice and you should have no problems. Otherwise, play against a guest and have them purposely mess up every shot, ensuring you a guaranteed win.

Ice Man
Used the Ice Pawn 10 times.

For this you need to make sure Battle Boxes are enabled (check the game settings). Every power-up you grab is random, so there's no guarantee when you'll get the Ice Pawn. The amount is cumulative, however, so just keep playing games until you reach the magic number.

Slider Shark
Won 20 games of Sorry! Sliders.

Refer to Novice Slider trophy.

Slide Time
Played Sorry! Sliders for over an hour.

Talk about an easy gold trophy. If you don't get this while you're going for the other trophies, then start up a game and simply let it sit there when it's your turn. After one total hour has passed, finish the game in progress and the trophy will unlock.

Get Connected
Played any game online.

The only reason this trophy can be a pain is because there's hardly anyone ever playing online. If there are, they seem to have connection issues. Your best bet is getting a friend to join you for a quick game (Connect 4 is the fastest). The trophy will unlock after one full round has been played.

Changing Rooms
Customized the Family Game Room.

From the game select screen, press the button to bring up the options and then choose to edit your game room. Pick any item that you have unlocked a new item for, and change it. Simple.

Professional Player
Totaled 3 hours of play time.

This trophy will come naturally as you're getting the other trophies. If you're curious, you can check your total play time from the options screen and choosing to view your awards.

Full House
Won all the trophies for Connect 4, Boggle, Battleship, Sorry! and Sorry! Sliders.

This is kind of like a mini platinum. Once you have earned every game-specific trophy, this trophy will unlock immediately afterward. Note that Changing Rooms and Get Connected do not count toward the requirement, so you can technically leave those two until last and still get this trophy.
