Welcome to the newest installment of the Hitman franchise created by Danish IO interactive. The game’s protagonist, 47, is sent on a difficult contract by The Agency. Diana Burnwood, his former handler at The Agency has gone rogue and has exposed The Agency to the public. As a result, 47 is sent to eliminate Diana. Will 47 be able to carry out the contract? Or will 47, the unfeeling lab project, proof to have a will of his own?


Throughout this guide I’ll lead you towards the Platinum trophy. This guide contains many spoilers and will ruin the game for anyone trying to get this on their own. The mission walkthrough are divided into two separate parts. A written part created and formed with help from my own experiences during my playthrough of the game. The other part is a video part created by Seraphim17.

Go through all the singleplayer trophies in the Absolution campaign. Do a playthrough on ‘Hard' and remember to look out for Not Worth It and Faith Can Move Mountains trophies on your way. I would also recommend collecting all the evidence in your first playthrough.

Complete 100 challenges

For this trophy you need to complete 100 challenges. Throughout the game you’ll encounter 278 different challenges so this should be a breeze. All these challenges put a lot of fun into the game and they let you discover a wealth of different play styles.
You can find all the challenges in your notebook while doing a mission. From the notebook press twice to view the challenges for the specific mission. In the Campaign Menu under "Unlocks" you can keep track on your completed challenges.

Some challenges are level-specific like Killing two targets with one bullet or using a rookie as a human shield.

The Russian Hare
47 precision headshots using a sniper rifle

There are multiple ways to obtain this trophy. The easiest way however, is to either wait for the level "Death Factory" (11th mission) to unlock or play a featured contract made by IO Interactive.

In Contract mode pick “Quick Play”. Now select “Featured Contracts”. The first contract available takes place in “Factory Compound” and will grant you a 195,000 base payoff.

Take the sniper and proceed up the stairs and let the hunt begin. Simply take out all the enemies on the bridge and all the other reinforcements arriving. Restart the contract/mission 2-3 times and you should easily get this trophy.
You don’t actually have to complete the mission. You can simply just restart when you’re out of bullets.

Heavy Burden
Assassinate Diana Burnwood

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

This is the tutorial of the game and it’s pretty straight forward. As with all the other levels you can execute this in many ways. The first three parts of this level is really simple and really easy to go by, but the Mansion can proof a little difficult for first-time players.

Mansion Ground Floor

As stated before you have multiple ways to assassinate your target to get the Keycard. When entering the mansion walk up the stairs and subdue the guard leaning over the rail. Drag his body into the bathroom behind you and hide his body. On the table you’ll find sleeping pills. Take these. Move back down the stairs and into the kitchen. Make sure The Chef’s conversation with the guard is over before subduing him. Hide his body in the kitchen freezer. Make your way to the bar located left of the kitchen. If you’ve done anything right you have the option to poison the coffee. Go back to the kitchen and hide in the freezer until the target is in the adjacent room. When he’s alone sneak in and steal the Keycard. Find your way to the stairs and continue the mission. The rest is pretty straight forward.

Kingslayer
Assassinate the King of Chinatown

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

When you go through the doors and enter Chinatown walk straight forward. After passing The King’s pavilion turn right. Behind the wall you’ll see two vendors close to each other. One of these vendors is guarding some poison on a fish plate. She’ll eventually move and you can quickly steal the poison. The King will walk out of his pavilion and move towards a food vendor right of the exit point. At the stand you’ll have an option to poison the food. After poisoning the food use the adjacent hiding spot. After The King has been dealt with proceed to the exit point.

Chamber of Secrets
Locate room 899

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Terminus Hotel
When you reach the street from the alley turn left and you’ll have the option to go down in a cellar. In the cellar you’ll find a broken pipe and at the end of this pipe you’ll have the option to climb the ledge with
Take the wrench and sneak up the stairs without killing anyone. Be sure to throw the wrench in an opposite direction to distract the guards at the top of the stairs. Now move left and enter the room with the checkpoint symbol. Here you must use the disguise on the table. Move along and locate the elevator. Call it and enter.

Upper Floors

When you step out the elevator turn right twice and climb out the window at the end of the hallway. Outside on the ledge move left and climb down to pass the fans. Enter the room and grab the keycard on the counter. Be sure not to get spotted.
Go back to the elevator and this time you need to go left. You’ll see a guarded door with a keycard mechanism next to it. Continue down the hallway and use the radio. The guard in front of the door will check the situation. Meanwhile unlock the door with the keycard and go up the stairs.

Subdue the guard patrolling next to the bear and dump his body. Disguise yourself with the guard disguise near the body dump and take the gasoline can. In front of the elevator you’ll see two guys. Find the hiding place with the pamphlets and wait until they are gone. Change cover to the left and in the arch of the door a guard will appear. Distract him with the gasoline can and sneak right behind him. Down this corridor you’ll find room 899 and the trophy will pop.

Catch a Ride
Enter the train in the train station

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Burning Hotel
From the starting point of this mission, locate the window in the burning suite and climb out. Follow the ledge around and climb the stairs. Now proceed through the level without getting spotted. You can use objects like the wrench to distract the guards.

The Library

This part of the mission is pretty hard to explain. It requires a lot of trial and error to find the right path and the right timing.
Climb down the ledge and move left quickly climb down before getting spotted and change cover to the left. There will be a enemy right in front of you looking in the opposite direction. In front of this enemy there is a body dump. Subdue/kill this enemy and hide his body, then disguise as the officer. Make your way to the exit point by hiding and using instinct. It’s all about finding the path that will let you use as little adrenaline as possible. After passing the last officer, go up the stairs and through the broken staircase and you’ll have the option to jump to the ledge. Cross the beam without releasing the chandelier and exit the library.

From here run away from the helicopter and after the roof-gap jump, crawl through the vent in the room. Stay hidden by changing cover with all the way to the entrance.

Shangri-La

Sneak through the weed plantation without being spotted. Follow the two police officers after the checkpoint symbol and at a point they’ll turn left. Here you’ll see a guard in front of a door that leads to a disco. Distract him and slip unnoticed inside the room. Turn on the music and quickly sneak out the door you came from. Go back the way you came from and hurry to the elevator. Don’t run though. All the guards will be distracted and you have the opportunity to call the elevator and entering it before the guards will be back.

Train Station

When exiting the elevator turn left through a door. Take cover and subdue the officer and disguise as him. Dump the body and continue on. Look out for the SWAT team, but once they are out of sight sneak out the double doors and enter the crowd. If you stand still it’s harder for the enemies to spot you. Go down platform A and instead of going up the stairs at the end, turn right and slide along the ledge of the control room. Climb in the window and go up the stairs. Subdue the guy in the room and dump his body. From there activate the train signal. Move to platform B and wait for the train to arrive. When possible enter the train and finish the mission.

Forepost
Assassinate Wade's men

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Courtyard
Grab a bottle close to the homeless guy at the starting point of this level. Continue on and throw the bottle down the hallway where the two police officers are chatting. While they are investigating the broken bottle take out the guy in the left hallway. Disguise as him and dump his body in the hiding place at the end of the hallway. Before going up the stairs, remember to activate the checkpoint in the room to your left. You’ll now reach the courtyard. Pick up the bottle and continue on to the left while hiding behind police cars. There will be on guy at the end who you’ll have to distract. After distracting him, quickly climb down the ledge and you’ll be able to pick the lock without being spotted.

The Vixen Club

If you’re wearing the police officer disguise you can walk right into the club without anyone being suspicious. Go inside the club and locate your target. Wait a few moments until your target is going for a lap dance. There will be a guard outside the booth so be sure to grab an object to distract him with. When you’re inside the booth you must wait for the dancer to exit before killing your target, but you’ll have very limited time. At the same time make sure you don’t get caught by the bodyguard outside. There is a room with a body dump next to the booth, but every time I tried to move the body the stripper saw me. Simply leave the target on the floor since no one will enter there again. Go to the checkpoint marker and wait for the bodyguard to leave so you can sneak in unnoticed. Be careful with the guys beneath the stairs. They will spot you if you don’t distract them. When up the stairs, simply pick the lock to continue.

Dressing Rooms

This is pretty easy. From the starting point go left and take cover. To pass the guards you must use the ‘Change Cover’ option or you could use instinct. Follow the hallway and when it splits up, turn right. There will be a stair here with a guard patrolling. He’ll continue on and lean up against the door you want to go through. Another guard will also be watching the top floor, but after a while they’ll both leave and you’ll have the option to sneak in. Check the answering machine and you’ll continue to the next part of this mission.

Derelict Building

It’s hard to explain the exact path you want to go here so I’ll leave that to the video. Your main goal however is to reach the checkpoint at the bottom of the broken staircase. From here climb the ledge and find the dead stripper body. Dump the body over the railing and proceed down the hallway to your right. When all the police officers are gone you can safely drop down and continue to your right. Wait for the guy up the stairs to go down and check underneath the stairway. Simultaneously look out for the other guy at the stairway since he needs to go up the stairs before you make your move. When no one’s watching go up the stairs and subdue the guard up here. Continue along the ledge and move on to the next part.

Convenience Store

Climb down the top of the building and drop down on the ledge. Be sure not to be spotted by the guy in the building when you pass the windows. Go across the beam and instead of climbing down, simply continue along the ledge. Jump in the window and subdue the cook. Disguise as him and hide his body. Go down the stairs and make sure not to be spotted by the two cooks in the kitchen. Down the stairs proceed left and find the valve in an adjacent room. You have to be very careful not to be spotted by the cooks in the store. Turn on the valve and from this room continue straight forward until you find some fireworks. Lit the fireworks and quickly move on. Use instinct to make sure you won’t get spotted. Locate the exit point and continue on.
Disguised as the chef this is really easy. Just run up to the door you need to pick to proceed. The cops won’t care about you, but they will if they see you picking the lock.

Chinese New Year

When reaching the crowd walk left until you see a stairway leading down an alley. There will be a vent down there you can climb through. On the other side steal ‘Birdie’s File’ and go back through the vent. Now go to the opposite corner of the map to find your second target. Instead of taking the main path you can hop in through a hole in the wall. Kill your target and quickly drag him to the dumpster. Dispose of his body, but first proceed when the guard stomps his cigarette and gets out of your way. Now you’ll need to locate the alley in which two cops were located in “The King of Chinatown”. The alley contained a car and a staircase. Find this alley and witness your third target shooting a chef. When he walks away you can kill him by dropping the debris, hanging in the alley, onto his head.
Locate the exit point and exit the mission.

All Bark and no Bite
Assassinate Wade

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

The Orphanage

The first part of this mission is 47 carrying the girl. There’s nothing much to it, but when you reach the elevator you need to hide behind some curtains. When the guards are gone continue into the elevator.
When the two guards are gone climb up into the hallway and continue all the way down. You’ll find a knife in the small room. Throw the knife as a distraction and continue down the hall. Go into the infirmary and pick up the syringe. Here you’ll also pick up the first fuse. Before exiting the infirmary make sure the patrolling guard doesn’t see you. When clear, take out the guy who’s watching the stairway. Disguise and hide the body in the closet. Continue down the stairs and locate the vent after the checkpoint. Climb through the vent and take cover. Change cover behind the different counters and sneak in unnoticed and pick up the second fuse. Go back out on the hallway you just came from and kill the guard. Make sure to hide his body. Now you’ll really be tested. Pick up an object and sneak into the room with the third fuse. Hide behind the counters in here. Throw a book into the hallway you just came from and quickly make your way to the fuse. Use instinct if necessary. Now make your way back to the starting point without being spotted. This can be a little tricky, but with instinct and objects to distract the guards you should be fine. From the elevator shaft go right and down the stairs. Pacify the guard in the hallway and hide his body in the closet. Use the Fire Extinguisher to distract the guards and pick up the last fuse. Quickly go to the room where you can place the fuses and pull the lever. Job’s done.

Central Heating

In the first room simply point-shoot the three guards. In the next area you’ll see three guards. When the guard closest to you starts moving, follow him and climb up the walkway in that hallway he enters. On the walkway go all the way to the end, but be careful, the guards are able to spot you. Go through the door and a boss fight will start. Instead of walking into the point-shooting duel you can simply go around one of the control panels and turn off a valve. Climb the vent and turn the valve once again. Wade will walk right into it and he’ll be eliminated.

The Bartender Always Knows
Approach the bartender

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

In this level you have the option to start a bar fight. You can do this by crushing a bottle into another guest’s head, or by pulling the lever in the restroom. You can also take the more silent way by subduing the police officer in the restroom and disguise as him. Then crawl through the vent. Go out the door and turn left. Whenever you’re close to being spotted, use instinct and cover to hide. When you reach the bartender the level is complete.

Signature Weapons
Acquire the Silverballers

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

This mission requires you to get your Silverballers back. You can do this multiple ways, but the easiest method is winning the shooting competition. If you beat her score of 471 you’ll get the weapons right away. If this method is too difficult for you, you can sneak into the old man’s office. You’ll do this by entering the vent behind the Duck Shooters Field adjacent to the Weapon Store. Climb the vent and wait for him to enter the office. Either subdue or kill him and take the notebook he drops with
Open the safe with the combination and take the key. Go back to the Weapon Store and unlock the showcase. Walk out the door and the mission is complete.

Like Stealing Candy From a Baby
Pacify Lenny the Limp

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Streets of Hope
You’ll see your target right in front of you when you start this mission. Gavin will though go away from the car after about 30 seconds and move on to a veranda. Climb through the window and wait for Gavin to proceed. Follow him and take him down behind some cars. You don’t have to hide the body since no one will find it here.
Go back to the starting point and locate the shop opposite of the bar. Turn on the radio in here and sneak behind the counter and up the stairs. Wait for Tyler to enter and when he looks out the window take him down and hide his body. When going back down the stairs pick up a bottle to distract the woman in the shop. Go out the door closest to the counter, and in front of you, you’ll see a garage. To the left of this garage you’ll spot an alleyway. If you go down this it will not be considered trespassing. Continue down the alley and walk into the garage to the left. Here you’ll find a checkpoint. Grab an object and proceed up the stairs. Throw the object to distract the police officers and sneak out to the right. Your last target will come by here eventually. Simply hide in the closet and wait for him. Take him down and hide him in the closet and move on to the exit point. The cop in front of the exit point won’t bother you. He’ll not turn around at any point.

Barbershop

Go past the bench and climb down. Take an object and throw it at the wall where the two officers are standing. Quickly climb the ledge next to the dumpsters and go through the window. Take down the sheriff outside this room and drag him into the closet. Remember to disguise as him. Proceed downstairs and take out the second target in the little room adjacent to the TV-room with the pizza. Hide Luke’s body in the container in the same room. Next to this container there is a Lighter Fuel. Pick this up and proceed to the cellar. The cellar is located behind the barber saloon. Down here you can swap the Lighter Fuel with some Hot Sauce. This will take care of the other target. Now go back to the Barber saloon and find the Barber disguise on a small desk. When wearing this disguise Lenny will automatically come to you. When he’s in place choose the option to “Pacify Lenny” and the mission is complete.

Not Worth It
Leave Lenny in the desert

This is a really easy mission and trophy. In the mission “End of the Road” you have the option to either kill Lenny or leave him to his fate. When you get control of 47 simply go to the car door and leave the area without dealing with Lenny. Pling! One really easy trophy.

Step Into the Light
Exit the mines

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Dead End
Start of the car alarm and take down the incoming guard. Take his disguise and proceed to disable the cameras. Climb out the other window and continue towards the Backup System. There can be some difficult points, but as long as you use instinct, distractions and cover you should be just fine. Don't climb into the window to soon or you’ll be spotted. Instead wait for the two guard’s conversation to end. Climb in and disable the Backup System.
The next part is pretty tricky. You need an object to distract some of the guys and when some of them are busy try to sneak around to the exit point by using blend. When you reach the door unspotted you can continue to the next part.

Old Mill

This is the easiest part of the mission. Sneak up the stairs and disable the power. Everyone will be distracted. Continue on, but instead of going down the stairs towards the guards, climb the ledge. Find cover behind the tree fence. If you do not hide here, the guard on the second floor will spot you. Wait for him to be all the way down and continue along the ledge. Climb down and sneak up the stairs and go out the door.

Descent

When you reach the window don’t pull the guy out. Just wait for him to leave or climb down. You’ll eventually come to a door. Pick up an object to distract the guards. Enter the cave room and use blend to reach the stairs on your left hand. Go down the stairs and activate the checkpoint.
Continue down the next set of stairs and wait for the guards to open the keycard door. Quickly follow them through the door. All the guards will meet up and not far from them there will be a hiding spot. Start hiding there and wait for everyone to go. There will though be one guy left smoking. You can’t really distract him therefore use your instinct to blend in, and walk right in.
In the next part you’ll see two guards. Follow them, but be sure not to be spotted by another one else. Eventually they’ll stand still at a rail. Right of them you’ll see a switch. Pull the lever and sneak down the stairs and start the generator. When the elevator arrives walk into it and get ready for the next part.

Factory Compound

Since you’re already disguised as a guard you can simply cross the bridge using instinct, but you can also climb down the ledge of the bridge and save some adrenalin. After the bridge turn right to activate a checkpoint. Now go all the way to the left. There will be two guys patrolling in this area. One of them is stationary and the other one walks around the house. Take down the stationary guard or sneak past him. Instead of climbing the building on the right, turn left. You need a keycard to open the door. In this room you’ll find a squirrel disguise. Jump in the suit and you’re able to go almost everywhere you please. Now go to the opposite part of the map, where you’ll find a guy in a striped suit. Get his attention by setting of the car alarm in the garage. Take him down and hide his body in the adjacent courtyard. With his disguise you are able to enter the lobby and take the elevator with no problem.

A Heavy Blow
Assassinate facility leaders

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Test Facility
Find the keycard and unlock the door. Activate the fire alarm to lure one of the guards out. Pacify him and enter the Interrogation Room. Kill the guard and the ‘prisoner’ to collect his disguise. Take the stolen files and open the secret door to proceed.
When you get of the lift, turn right. Follow the path all the way down to the end until you see a guard talking to a facility scientist. The scientist won’t see you since he’s looking in the opposite direction. Climb the stairs and you’ll see your target almost right in front of you. Take him out on the walkway and quickly proceed into the room he was heading for. Use instinct round the corner and go down the staircase. Disable the security in this room and proceed back up the stairs. Use the same path as before to reach the exit point.

Decontamination

Locate the showers and turn the valve in there. This will distract some of the facility scientists. Hop through the window where the guards are watching TV and find the vent in the adjacent room. Climb out the vent and proceed right to find the door to the next part.

R&D

Go in the first set of doors and find the door in the corner. Go down the stairs and subdue the guard and use his disguise. Go back up the stairs and out the double doors and continue down. In the next room your first target will be. You don’t have the time to kill him now so you’ll have to wait for him to come back. In the room there’ll be a guard so use blend to come around him. In the far right corner of the room you’ll have the option to start a robot arm. That will distract the scientist. When your target enters the room and the explosion has been set off, the target will go into the box. Quickly distract the scientist by starting the robot arm, and quickly go to the panel he was at. When the target is inside, activate the bomb chamber and get the hell out of there. Continue down the stairs until you reach the button. The staircase splits into two, but you will need to go down the right arm. Sneak all the way around until you see a valve not far from two scientists. Turn the valve and equip your silenced Silverballer and shoot the doctor in the head. As the panic spreads call the bridge. Wait in the room a little longer and when possible, start crossing the bridge. After playing Dr. Ashford’s Log and sabotaged the two power supplies walk out the door to end this mission.

Faith Can Move Mountains
Defeat Sanchez with your bare hands

This trophy requires you to kill Sanchez by fighting him. Therefore you need to be disguised as the wrestler called The Patriot. His disguise is found in the ‘Patriot’s Hangar’. Sneak behind the trailer and turn on the generator. Hide until one of the managers is investigating the situation. Kill/subdue him and take his disguise. This makes it a lot easier to deal with the guards. I killed all in the Hangar and took The Patriot’s costume. Go knock the door and you’ll be able to pass. Go down the corridors and into the arena. Fight of Sanchez with (repeatedly) and and after multiple punches he’ll fall to the ground. Go to the exit and acquire your Silverballers before exiting the level.

The Killing Fields
Eliminate the Saints

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Parking
What I did was to shoot the ‘Saint’ in the parking lot from cover. Then went back in the room with the 47 disguise and hid there until the enemies and the Saint on the first floor walked towards my location. Take them all out and disguise as a guard and go towards the checkpoint. Save here. Now sneak past the guard on your left hand and continue around the bus. Take some explosives and toss out in the middle of the parking lot. When enemies are near, detonate the bomb and pick up another explosive. This time throw it towards the entrance to the garden and detonate. Use instinct to enter the garden and hide behind all the barriers of tree. Use cover and instinct to reach the entrance. Distract the guards and take them out with a point-shooting. When clear pick the lock to the entrance and continue on.

Reception

Hide until Dijana Radoncic moves to the starting point. Kill her and hide her body. From here walk outside and find cover at the steering wheel on the wall. Wait for the guard to pass, sneak behind him and pick up the bottle close to the barbecue. Distract Agnija Radoncic with the bottle and kill her. Drag her body to the hiding place in the corner. To exit the motel, go back to the starting point and crawl through the vent. Climb out when it’s clear and proceed out the door. Go straight forward, but look out for the guard standing there. Use instinct to get around him. Subdue him and hide his body. Wait until the guards who are close to the exit split up before you sneak out.

Cornfield

Sneak up to the scarecrow and disguise yourself. Now you’ll have to use the crop field. Take out all your targets from inside the cornfield and quickly move away from the scene. The last target will be surrounded by enemies, but as they walk out in the field subdue them one after one and shoot the remaining enemies with a silenced weapon. When there is no enemies left around you pick up the phone and proceed to the next mission.

Jailbird
Gain access to the jail

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Courthouse
When the mission starts turn around and walk out in the hallway. Turn right and go up the stairs. Locate the library and wait for one of the police officers to go out. Go through the door the police officer in the library isn’t watching. Take cover behind a bookshelf and take him out with your silenced Silverballer. Quickly get ready for the Court Usher to enter. When the door is closed, shoot him and quickly drag him into the nearby closet. Don’t disguise as him yet but hide since two officers will enter the library shortly after dumping the corpse of the Court Usher. When the scene is clear, disguise as the Usher and walk downstairs. Go through the Court Room and since you have no keycard go to the storage room. You’ll find a vent in the corner. Enter the vent unseen and crawl through it. Don’t exit the vent until both officers who are guarding the door are gone. When the hallway is clear, exit the vent and pick the lock.

Holding Cells

Sneak down the hallway and take a right. In this room there will be one guard. Distract him with an object or shoot with your Silverballer to get him to look away. Subdue him and drag him into the closet. Climb through the vent and make sure not to exit before the patrolling officer is out of sight. Distract the two officers with an object or your Silverballer and while distracted use + to perform a point-shooting execution. Quickly pick the lock and proceed to the prison.

Prison

In this next room I went a little brutal. I took out all the cops. I took out the guy in the hallway and quickly performed a point-shooting execution on the three guys in the cell. The other cops were coming and I took them out one after one. After shooting all of them open the gate by pushing the button in the control room.
After opening the gate shoot the guy in the room with your silenced Silverballer. If you subdue him or snap his neck the other guy will come running. Hide his body and continue down the corridor. Wait for the cop to proceed and when he’s out of the way, climb the stairs. Up on the walkway you must sneak or you might be spotted. When no one’s watching slide down the stairs and sneak up to the prison cell. You have to shoot the lock open with your silenced Silverballer. If you use this, the guards won’t be alerted. Now pick the lock.

Hour of Reckoning
Approach the church

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

County Jail
Break free from the chair and start the fire alarm. Go back to the chair and hide. When the guard is fixing the alarm subdue him and hide him in the corridor container. Go right and take the metal pipe and then continue in the opposite direction. Take out the guard in the following room and dump his body. Save at the checkpoint and go back in the room with the cell phone guard. Proceed through the vent and before exiting make sure the cop in the room is facing away from the vent exit. Subdue him and dump him in the closet. When you go through the next door you have to be quick. Pick up the two Silverballers and unequip them fast. Now rapidly return to the previous room. From here take the other door and walk along the counter. Don’t search cover. Just duck and walk quickly to avoid getting spotted by the cops in the other room behind the glass. Quickly press to escape.

Outgunned

Go down to the pillars and hide. You’ll need to take the left way around so wait for the guy between the cars to walk away. When he’s gone throw your metal pipe besides the car on your left. A guard will check it out. Now quickly proceed to the stairs behind that guard and climb it. Go down the other stair and save at the checkpoint. Pick up a bottle and throw it to distract the guards. Pick up the knife and continue around. When some crates block your way further go out in the open using instinct and cross the road. Two men can be found here talking next to an arched doorway. They will go away eventually. Proceed further up the streets to some guards talking behind a crashed car. Cover behind some crates and wait for them to go away. Scale the cover and cross the street once more, and then proceed through the exit.

Burn

Continue along the hallway and down the stairs and when reaching the smoky room keep left. To Heavy Troopers will come out the doorway. Simply wait until they are gone and go inside the next room. Go towards the Trooper facing away from you and climb the stairs. Continue along the walkway and climb down at the end. Throw the hammer to distract the guard and simultaneously pick up the screwdriver. Quickly climb the second stair and climb down the on the other side. Now you’ll have to wait a bit until one of the Troopers has done his routine. When he’s gone walk all the way to the door, but be careful not to be spotted at the Troopers on your left hand. Quickly open the door and search cover behind the barrels. Equip the screwdriver and kill him with the throw. Proceed out the door. Subdue the man outside and dump his body in the dumpster. Go up the stairs and pick the lock to continue the mission.

Hope Fair

You start on the same floor as a Trooper. Let him do his business and wait until he’s gone. Go down the stairs and out the door and walk up on the stage. Continue all the way down to the exit point on the left side. There may be some tricky spots so look out. At a point you’ll find a guard standing. Wait for him to leave and thereafter scale the cover. Move along and you’ll see two guards talking while having a smoke. Wait for them to leave and simply use Instinct the rest of the way to the door. After breaking the door Hunt Skurky down in the church and point shoot him with and perform the execution with You need to be quick, but it’s not hard at all.

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

This trophy doesn’t really require any information. Simply change your suit in the fitting room and walk out the door again. It is good however to see 47 in his signature suit again, because now it’s time to kick some serious ass.

Destroying Something Beautiful
Assassinate Layla

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Blackwater Park
Go past the two officers talking and into the garden. A guard will actually enter the garden right in front of you, but it’s important that he can’t. Therefore shoot the wall behind him to distract him, and go subdue him. Disguise yourself, but do not move his body. It’s too risky. Continue on through the garden and you’ll see two officers close to a gargoyle. They are however easy to sneak behind. Without being spotted make your way to the electrician house in the far end corner. Since you’re disguised as a police officer there will be no one suspecting you for being an imposter. Move along and enter the room to the left. Here you’ll find a janitor. Subdue him and take his outfit and climb through the vent. On the other side, look out for the patrolling janitor. He will at some point stand still and you will be able to sneak past him. Go up the stairs and enable the checkpoint.
Stand outside the security office and wait for a possibility to override the retinal scanner. When you find your window quickly get it done and use instinct to get out again. Another way is to kill one of the officers outside the security office, and almost everyone will be out of the office. Either way you choose to do this, you can now enter the elevator and move on to the Penthouse part of this mission.

The Penthouse

A great method for this is to run to cover by the door and open it. This will distract a guard who’ll investigate what’s going on. But the guard can’t be the girl. It must be one of the heavy troopers. If you can’t figure out how to do this you can try with another disguise such as the agents with the suits. There are a lot of those however so there’ll be a lot of blending in.
Now follow Layla and wait for her to enter the Panic Room. She’ll ask her guards to leave her alone. That’s your chance. Enter the panic room and a cut scene will trigger. When it’s done eliminate Layla and pick up the phone. Now it’s time to take Dexter out!

The Final Countdown
Assassinate Blake Dexter

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Blackwater Roof
This mission can really be a pain, but learning the AI’s patterns helps a lot.
Start off with killing the guy looking down the roof by pushing him over. Quickly find a hiding place before the next guard arrives. Equip your Silverballer and eliminate the guard standing close to the edge of the roof. Disguise as him and dump the body over the edge. Move on and find cover at the next window-pyramid-thing. There will be a guard standing in front of the staircase. Use instinct to move around him. Up the stairs you’ll find a checkpoint. Activate it and move on. You can actually move around all these guys without killing anyone. Even though it’s tough you can follow the guy in the middle and proceed to the door in the far right corner. There’ll be three guards here, but with instinct you can walk right past them and enter the room. Shoot the lock of the door and climb the stairs. Wait for Dexter to turn around, and then go kill him.

If you’re having trouble with going through the roof without being spotted you can try shooting your way through. There are three groups of guards after the checkpoint. There are three in front of the door, two in front of the minefield and on the right side you’ll have a bunch of guards. Use instinct to point-shoot the group to your right. This will alert some more guards. Take those down as well. Now the last group of guys will come. The best thing you can do is to kill them, but you can try to sneak past them. You’ll have to hurry though. It is also possible to go through the minefield. Simply use instinct to reveal where the mines are located. After the first set of mines you’ll climb a ladder. There’ll be two crates to your left. Take cover here and scale the cover. Now climb down the ledge and use instinct to locate where the mines are. Climb up on the roof and up on the helipad, and take down Dexter for good.

A Personal Contract
Assassinate Travis

This trophy is story related and cannot be missed.

Cemetery Entrance
Take the sniper rifle and make as many stealth kills as you can without alerting the guards. Go down the stairs and pacify the first guard you see and disguise as him. Get rid of the bodies if you can. Keep right and sneak past some of the guards. Use cover and instinct whenever necessary. You can break the line of sight by slaloming through the tombstones in the cemetery. When you reach the door you need to pick it so it’s important that you have 10 second window before attempting to continue on.
If anything fails you can just shoot everyone left. That’s what I did the first time.

Burnwood Family Tomb

This part of the mission is really tricky. The best way to do this is to obtain the Decontamination disguise. It’s located all the way in the back of the map.
Go down the stairs and take the first path to the left. You’ll see a guard facing in the opposite direction. Go right of him and follow the building around. You’ll have the option to turn right at a point, but keep going forward until you see the next path leading right. Go down this path and up the hill you’ll see two heavy troopers. They’ll start walking so grab an object and distract the guard. They’ll split up and you can walk past them. You’ll find the disguise on some crates. Now there’s only one person who can show you as an imposter. Vicky will leave the center of the map and so will the Decontamination guy. Follow Vicky until she notices you. She’ll start following you. Go back to the center with the tombstone and once she’s under the tombstone cover, push the button on the crane. Now go to the exit point to move on to the next part.

The Crematorium

Follow the road up a bit and then turn left. Look out for the mines placed on several tombstones. You’ll see a staircase. Don’t go up here. Instead climb the ledge. One of the enemies will come towards your location. Climb up as soon as he passes you, and pacify him quickly. You’ll find a dog bone which you can use as a distraction. Sometimes both targets will come towards the location. When one of the enemies is investigating the situation shoot him with a silenced weapon. It needs to be a headshot. The other enemy will come running. Either point-shoot him, or kill him in any other way you like. Just be careful not to trigger a mine. When all three targets have been dealt with, find the explosives and arm the door.

Absolution
Complete Hitman: Absolution on any professional difficulty

There are 5 different difficulties in Hitman: Absolution which all are divided into two categories: Enhanced and Professional.

To unlock this trophy you need to complete the entire game at any professional difficulty.
‘Hard’ is not that hard at all if you are an experienced Hitman player, but ‘Purist’ should prove challenging to even the best players. However ‘Hard’ is pretty doable for most players and if anything proves too difficult, please refer to the particular mission guides for help.

Jack of All Trades
Collect all play styles

This trophy requires the player to collect 20 different play styles. Throughout the game you’ll probably collect a bunch of these, but if you still miss some of the play styles after you finished the game, use the following guide.
All these play styles can be collected on EASY. You’ll get prompted with a message during the mission if you completed a play style.

Warning: The play style “Pitcher” seems to glitch for some people. Please refer to “Pitcher” before continuing with other play styles.


Down below I’ll list the play styles and how to collect these the easiest way:



For this one you need to perform stealth kills with syringe. The syringe can be encountered in the 6th mission “Rosewood” in the infirmary on the first floor and can also be found in the 12th mission “Death Factory”. Kill multiple people with the syringe to unlock this play style.




This is pretty straight forward and you’ll most likely get this before the end of the game. This play style require you to hide multiple pacified/killed bodies in any body dumps.
You can achieve this in the “Dexter Industries” mission in the Old mill part of the mission. Simply subdue all 5 enemies and put them in the closet and the containers.




Again a play style you most likely will collect during the game, especially if you like this weapon as much as I do. Simply commit fiber wire kills to unlock this play style.




Reaper Man is achieved by getting kills with point-shooting. Simply start “The King of Chinatown” and start point-shooting by holding + just keep executing people until the play style unlocks. If you run out of instinct before it unlocks, simply shoot The King to receive more.




This is just like the Sandman trophy. You need to commit choke-holds by sneaking up behind enemies and subdue them with
Keep doing this and you’ll achieve this in no time.




For this funny play style you’ll need to find your inner samurai and commit kills with the Katana. The Katana can be found in the fifth level “Hunter and Hunted” in a shop, but can also be found in the 18th level “Blackwater Park” in 'The Penthouse'. On the top floor you'll find a room with lasers and in a weapon display to the left, you'll find the Katana.




For this you must commit kills with any type of explosives. In the level “The King of Chinatown” grab a Gasoline Can and disguised as a market-vendor place it inside The King’s pavilion. Get to a safe distance and equip your Silverballers and shoot the Gasoline Can. Booom! ‘Dynamite Harry’ unlocked.




For this play style you need to commit kills with any revolver. I got this on the “Birdie’s Gift” level using the Mustang Snub. You actually need quite a lot of kills, but it will unlock eventually.




For this you need to commit kills with bottles. Load up the “Welcome to Hope” mission and start a bar fight. Now find and equip a bottle and walk up and press on people to knock them out.




For this to unlock you must commit kills with bare-handed combat. Simply start “The King of Chinatown” and start killing civilians with without having anything equipped. After about 7 kills you’ll unlock the play style.




The way I got this play style was with the tomahawk in “Welcome to hope”. Take the tomahawk from the dartboard to the left of the bar and swing away! I got this after 7 kills. You can also do this with the axe in "The King of Chinatown". The axe is located in the far right corner of the map, not far from the drug dealer's apartment.




Again this is a pretty easy play style to achieve. You need to perform stealth kills with a knife. I did this in “The King of Chinatown” level. I found a knife and took out some police officers. After multiple kills ‘Brutus’ unlocked.




You can use multiple weapons for this one. You could use wood clubs (golf clubs) or a baseball bat. A great place for this is in the “Welcome to hope” mission in the bar. Take the baseball bat from the restroom and kill the cop in the toilet and about 5 people outside and the play style should unlock.




Playing on easy will grant you this play style in no time. You simply need to take a certain amount of damage before finding cover. ‘Tank’ unlocks when you have only little health left, without dying.



Warning: Obtain this play style as the first thing before doing the other play styles. This play style can glitch.

This is a pain. It has glitched on two of my accounts. The way I got this was to kill 5 enemies with lethal throw-kills without anyone spotting the dead bodies or you doing the kill. I got it in the “Run For Your Life” level in the library since you start off with the folding-knife.

On my other accounts this didn’t work. Therefore I tried getting kills with different throwing weapons and figured after several hours that I needed kills with the following weapons:
  • Syringe – Found in “Redwood” in the Orphanage
  • Axe – Found in “The King of Chinatown” in the north-east corner of the map not far from the drug dealer’s apartment.
  • Knife – Found in “The King of Chinatown” at a fish stand.
  • Screwdriver – Found in “Terminus” in the basement.
  • Cleaver – Found in the “Hunter and Hunted” mission. The cleaver is found in a kitchen in a store.
  • Folding knife – Found in “Run For Your Life”. You simply spawn with this.
  • Scissors – Found in “Run For Your Life” and “Shaving Lenny” where it is found in Cougar’s Nest.
One of these methods should unlock the ‘Pitcher’ play style. If not, the only option is to delete your save file and start over.




For this play style you need to eliminate enemies with silenced handguns. Equip your silent Silverballer and sneak up behind a henchman. You’ll see an option to “Eliminate”.
I got this in “Shaving Lenny”. Load up the ‘Barbershop’ checkpoint and go past the bench and climb down quickly. Throw a bottle in the alley and take down the first guard by sneaking up behind him and press
Go inside and sabotage the power. A guard will come soon. Take him down as well. Move on until you see the counter. Turn left into the hallway. Find cover and throw a bottle in the same hallway you’re in. A guard behind the counter will soon enter the hallway. As he’s investigating the broken bottle, eliminate him and ‘Spook’ will unlock.




This one requires the player to conduct kills via accidental means. The place I got this was in the “Hunter and Hunted” level in which you easily can perform multiple accidental kills.
The easiest way to obtain this however is to load up "Countdown" on Hard. Through the fog you'll see a guy looking down the roof windows. Wait for a second enemy to appear behind him and this guy will go to the edge of the roof. Now simply push both guards down with and 'Jinx' should unlock.



The "Dexter Industries" mission of this game is perfect for this. You must kill 5 enemies with a sniper rifle without reloading and all kills must be headshots. You’re not allowed to miss. Load up the 'Factory Compound' checkpoint and take down the first guard. Without reloading kill the three guards on and around the bridge and finish the massacre off by shooting the guard smoking in the window to the left. After this headshot massacre is done the play style will unlock.



Simply kill people with shotguns. A great place to do this is in the Welcome to Hope” mission. In the restroom you’ll find a vent to crawl through. On the other side you’ll find a shotgun. Return to the restroom through the vent and start the bar fight and begin opening fire at the police officers and the ‘civilians’ in the crowd.



For this play style you’ll need to take hostages and knock them out. An easy way to achieve this play style is to play the second level of the game “The King of Chinatown” grab some civilians with a weapon equipped and knock them out. Do this until the play style unlocks.

It's All in the Wrist
Achieve a lethal throw kill

In the level Run for your life you’ll spawn with a knife in the library. From the starting point of the mission, climb down the ledge. Follow the walkway till the end and on the main floor you’ll see a police officer. With the knife equipped aim at the officer with
When you see a red circle around the officer’s head throw the knife with to perform the lethal throw kill.

Information is Power
Collect all evidence

Throughout the game you’ll find evidence. It’s often hidden in plain sight and finding all the evidence in one mission will grant you a completed challenge. This trophy is pretty straight forward and you don’t even have to find all the evidence in one playthrough. Every time you pick up new evidence the challenge stats will track it.
There are 45 pieces of evidence to collect. After obtaining the last piece of evidence the trophy will unlock. Down below is a video guide showing the exact location of all the evidence.

Note: You can collect all the Evidence in level select when the game is completed. You must******** play on Normal difficulty however since Easy won't save your progress.

Contain a situation gone bad

Go to Contract mode and Create a Contract in the "Terminus" mission. There will be a car outside the hotel. Trigger the car alarm and wait for a man to come out. Simply take him out with any silent weapon and make sure that there are no witnesses. If you did anything right, the trophy will unlock.

Set for Life
Earn 1 million contract dollars

This trophy sounds like a grind, but the truth is that you’ll be able to get this during 4-5 contracts and most likely less. Some contracts will grant you a base score of up to 350,000 and by completing bonus objectives your score will be notably higher.

The only important thing to mention is that playing the same contract won’t grant you any money unless you do better. If you for instance complete a contract and earn 235,000 dollars and play the same contract one more time and improve your score to 275,000, you’ll only earn 40,000 on this contract.

But it’s easy to make money. You can even make your own easy contracts to complete and earn some quick money this way.

In the spoiler box below I’ve made two very easy contracts which will grant you a base score of 235,000 each

Self-improvement
Buy an upgrade

To buy upgrades go to Unlocks in the singleplayer menu and choose Safe House. From here you’ll have three options. The only thing you can upgrade is your weapons. Open Weapons and choose your Silverballer. Pick the empty upgrade slot and buy an upgrade after your liking. The cheapest upgrade is Extra Clip I’, Heavy Slide I’, Skeletonized Hammer I’ and Weighted Barrel I’ which all cost 90,000 $.

First Contract
Complete the Create Contract Tutorial

This trophy is pretty straight forward. When you enter the “Contracts” menu you’ll see the “Tutorial” option. From here on you got two options. For this specific trophy you want to choose “Creating Contracts”. Now you’ll make your first contract after a quick tutorial. You can make a very easy contract by killing the vendor named Chan Hsu. He’s located all the way in the back of “The King of Chinatown” map. He’s fortunately partly hidden behind some crates. Take him down with your Fiber Wire, dump him in the dumpster and make your way to the nearest exit point behind three Chicago Police Officers.

The trophy will pop when you exit the door.

Blood Money
Complete the Play Contract Tutorial

This trophy is pretty similar to First Contract
Go to the Contracts Menu and select “Tutorials”. This time Choose “Contract Basics”
Simply finish the contract by going through the three steps: Eliminate, Escape, Payment.

Sneak past all the guards except the one outside of the tennis court. Subdue him and hide him in the container. Proceed down the stairs and equip your silenced silverballer. From cover take aim and shoot the target and try to escape as quickly as possible. Remember you can’t escape if guards are on high alert.
If you succeeded the trophy will pop just after you end the contract.

True Potential
Unlock a technique

This trophy will come eventually without even trying. When you finish a mission you’ll end up at the overview screen. If you’ve unlocked a technique you’ll see a message telling you that a technique such as Chameleon I, Chameleon II or another technique have unlocked. Bam! Easy trophy!

Play a contract created by a friend

This trophy is pretty self-explanatory. You need to play one of your friends created contracts. You don’t even have to complete the contract.

Competitive Spirit
Create a contract competition

Getting this trophy requires you to create a contract. After you go through your chosen exit point you’ll proceed to the overview screen. Press “Continue” and “Create Competition”
Choose one of your friends. It doesn’t matter if your friend has the game or not, but you need at least one PSN friend. After choosing one or more friends you have the option to “Continue”.
After agreeing to the terms of the warning message the trophy will unlock.

Contender
Participate in a contract competition

Find a friend using this thread: The Official Hitman: Absolution Boosting Thread
Your friend need to create a contract and at the end of the contract choose "Create Competition".
He'll find you at his friends list and challenge you to beat him in the competition. You don't even have to win. When you accept the challenge, Contender will unlock.

One With the Shadows
Escape attention from crimes

To obtain this trophy you must lose all attention from enemies. A good way to do this is to shoot every human being you see around you until enemies will be on high alert. You’ll be prompted with guards being “Hostile”. Now find a closet, dumpster or another hiding place making sure no one sees you enter.
You can also choose to hide right in front of your enemies by disguising yourself. Again just make sure that your enemies won’t see you while doing so.

Silent Assassin
Achieve the rating: Silent Assassin

To unlock this trophy you’ll have to get the “Silent Assassin” rating. This can only be done if you haven't been spotted and killed your target silently.

In the mission “The King of Chinatown” you have the option to poison The King’s food.
When you go through the doors and enter Chinatown walk straight forward. After passing The King’s pavilion turn right. Behind the wall you’ll see two vendors close to each other. One of these vendors is guarding some poison on a fish plate. She’ll eventually move and you can quickly steal the poison. The King will walk out of his pavilion and move towards a food vendor right of the exit point. At the stand you’ll have an option to poison the food. After poisoning the food use the adjacent hiding spot. After The King has been dealt with proceed to the exit point.

When you reach the overview screen the trophy should pop.

Inconspicuous
Remain undetected in a whole checkpoint

Whoops
Achieve your first accident kill

This is my favorite part of the game. The “accidents”.

You can do this very easily in “The King of Chinatown” by going to the exit point and hide behind the pallets. Equip your Silverballers and wait for The King to urinate on some scooters. Above him you’ll see some rubble on a pallet. Drop it on him by shooting it and this trophy will pop.

Another place to achieve this is in “Terminus”. After riding the elevator you can find an exterior fire-escape stair set outside the DJ’s window. Climb the stairs and follow the ledge to a window. Here a henchman will look out. Simply pull him out the window and he’ll drop dead

Blend in successfully

This is a really easy trophy and you’ll already be able to unlock this in “The King of Chinatown”. This trophy require you to ‘blend in’ and you’ll be able to do this simply by using the “Hide” option with
You can get this in any point of the game where you see a “Hide” option. Some will though require you to be in a certain disguise such as the ‘hide’ option in “Terminus” where some of the hiding spots will be related to the “Electrician disguise”.

Rocksteady
Execute a point shooting with 3 kills

I did this in “The King of Chinatown”, but it is possible in every level as long as you have 3 people close together and have enough instinct left. You will be presented to point-shooting in the prologue where you slow down time and mark four enemy heads with skulls. This will not grant you the trophy however. You will first be able to do this in the second mission “The King of Chinatown”.

To perform a point-shooting hold down and press
Time slows down and you can tag enemy heads. Now tag three heads and perform the execution and this trophy will unlock.

Under Wraps
Hide a body

I would be very surprised if anyone completed the game without unlocking this trophy. It’s pretty hard to miss.
The only thing you need to do is to kill or pacify an enemy and with the body in front of you use to drag the body to the nearest hiding place. Hiding places can be anything from dumpsters to closets, but every single mission has several of these. Dump the body with and this trophy will unlock.

Note
: You will not be able to unlock this trophy during the prologue. The first possible place to do this is in the second mission “The King of Chinatown”

Sandman
Subdue a person

This is another pretty easy trophy that you most likely will get during your first playthrough. Simply sneak up behind an enemy with nothing equipped and you get the option to “Subdue”. Press several times and the enemy will pass out.

Note
: You will not be able to unlock this trophy during the prologue. The first possible place to do this is in the second mission “The King of Chinatown”
