[top]Tips & Strategies
First and foremost I highly recommend that you play this game through the first time alone and with one character as much as possible. Getting to know the battle system of either E'lara or Caddoc and upgrading only one talent tree can save you hassel in the later stages of the game. Furthermore, I would recommend you play this first attempt on the normal or easy difficulty setting as these do not effect trophies and higher difficulties can lead to increased frustration before you have the crystals required to upgrade certain skills.
Second, learn how to use battle magic to empower your partner. Simply put when you switch to a battle magic spell (not weapon magic) you can hold down the cast button (R1) to empower your ally instead of casting the spell. Not only is this necessary for a trophy, pump YOU up, but it will allow you to take cover and avoid damage while your teammate dishes out some damage. Magic refills (blue bottles) seem to be easier to find than health bottles in the heat of battle so take advantage of this.
Third, take your time and look around. There are secrets and collectables hidden all over the place. Although I would recommend not worrying to much about any of them on your first play, collecting as much as possible will still get you closer to the 100,000 gold needed for Gold Finger

[top]Roadmap
Playthrough 1:
- I recommend initially playing as E'lara, she tends to make things easier and you can play on a harder difficulty to really get enjoyment and challenge out of the game before going back and collecting everything. During this playthrough DO NOT drink the sleg and feel free to collect anything you want. Ensure you kill all bosses as E'lara and try to use the ice skill to freeze enemies so that Caddoc can shatter them. If you play on a high difficulty setting you may get the 20 revives during this go as well.
Playthrough 2: Note: DO NOT HIT NEW GAME +!!!!!!!!!!! (It erases your data)
- This time play as Caddoc and pay close attention to the collectables guides. I would lower the difficulty so you don't get caught up fighting instead of finding items. Kill all 6 bosses as Caddoc, also make sure to use his skills to throw enemies into the air so E'lara can destroy them to obtain that trophy. Cleanup anything you have missed and don't hesitate to restart sections under "adventure".
Cleanup Step:
- This is where you will obtain anything you missed by clicking on specific chapters. You'll also collect gold (for the 100,000g trophy) and be building the crucible levels.

Piddlin' in the Porridge
Adventure Mode - Finished a game where one player drank the Sleg

Adventure Mode - Finished a game where one player drank the Sleg
A major component of the story mode in this game revolves around a mysterious liquid known as "Sleg". Major / long drawn out encounters often happen around vats of this liquid and the option to drink it to empower your character comes up with a "O" prompt. In order to get this trophy simply press the "O" prompt to drink the Sleg whenever you have the chance. You will need to do this on a separate playthrough then Above the Influence.

E'lara has a skill called "Arctic Arrow". In order to obtain this trophy simply use this skill to freeze enemies (R1 when equipped) and let Caddoc smash them into pieces. This works best with multiple weak enemies or spiders. Enemies with a shield will take more hits to freeze.
Upgrading this spell will give it an area of effect and allow for easier freezing of multiple enemies. Freeze and smash 50 for this trophy.

Shatter the shields of 50 enemies

Shatter the shields of 50 enemies
E'lara has a battle magic named "Arcane Burst". This arrow strike when used (R1 when equipped) will often shatter enemy shields. It becomes more of a sure thing as you level the ability up and is extremely useful later on in the game. Simply use this ability anytime you see an enemy with a shield and you should get this trophy within your first E'lara playthrough.

Kill at least 3 enemies with one explosion

Kill at least 3 enemies with one explosion
The easiest and more efficient place to obtain this trophy is on the crane in Chapter 2. You'll want to play as E'lara and when Caddoc begins to lower you down wait for the enemies to amass before shooting the explosive barrels, you should obtain this trophy if you get enough of them at a time. Alternatively if you do not prefer to do this on the elevator there are multiple spots in chapter 6 that offer opportunities to kill enemies en mass with explosive barrels and other points scattered throughout the game in general.

Kill 20 enemies using explosive barrels

Kill 20 enemies using explosive barrels
Simply kill 20 enemies by shooting or if you're suicidal meleeing an explosive barrel. You should get this without trying but if you come up short reload the elevator in chapter 2 or the end parts of chapter 6 to quickly knock enemies out with barrels.

Adventure Mode - Perform a Spell Link with your companion 20 times during the game
The most difficult part of this trophy is finding out what "Spell Link" entails. All it means if that you have Battle Charged your partner while you yourself are already battle charged. Do this 20 times and the trophy will pop. Similarly if you battle charge your partner and then they return the favour you will also get this trophy. You can tell if you have successfully spell linked as the character will have a floating skull around them afterward which will attack enemies.

Adventure Mode - Battle Charge your companion 50 times during the game
Battle Charge is an ability that can be activated by switching to a battle magic spell and holding down the cast button (R1). This will empower your ally and allow them to do greater amounts of damage for a short duration. Collecting Dragons Tears (see Don't cry little dragon) will allow you to increase the duration and effectiveness of Battle Charge. Simply activate your ally's charge 50 times to get this trophy.

Unlock 1st piece of Crucible content
You unlock crucible content by collecting gold, you need 100,000 to collect all crucible content. The best way to make gold is to create a crucible level with 9 waves of 100 skeletons and give yourself as many negative effects as possible (No HUD, lower mana regen, etc). You can make ~10,000 per match which takes about an hour.
Alternatively many people swear by fighting waves of tribal soldiers and using explosive arrow to take them down. I also found fighting the 2 scythed powerful tribals that give 150gold each and taking them down by using ice arrow to be effective.

You need to complete a crucible level with 25 rooms for this trophy. I would recommend making the 25 room level yourself, you can fill it with skeletons and use the clearing as a method of making gold. You can also make a dungeon with the bare minimum of enemies per room and finish this quickly.

Kill 20 Wargar before the crane platform gets to the bottom in the Dungeons of Dyfed

Kill 20 Wargar before the crane platform gets to the bottom in the Dungeons of Dyfed
This occurs in Chapter 2.3 and I would recommend not worrying about the trophy until you come back to this area. You will need to be E'lara to complete the objective but playing online with someone using Caddoc and shooting with their crossbow as well can make it easier. Employ the barrels and line up your shots and its relatively easy to accomplish. I believe the crane takes 30 seconds to lower, so 1 enemy every 1.5 seconds is your goal here.

In act 4, Llyr, you will come across a section of the map where you go from a burning building to an aqueduct. As you begin to walk along the aquaduct you will be bombarded with burning ballista fire. Hold down "X" to run and escape the incoming fire and you will get this trophy.

Trick the Minotaur into destroying all the pillars in the Arches of Fire section in Llyr
The "Arches of Fire" section of Llyr is more helpfully known as Chapter 4.3. Also apparently pillars mean wooden beams and not large brick or concrete structures like are littering all the areas of the game. So when you start this chapter, and I would recommend doing this on playthrough one if possible so you don't kill the minotaur to soon, taunt the minotaur into running through all the wooden beams in the area where wargar are fighting it.
If you find it keeps dying before you can finish just load up multiplayer with an idle 2nd character on split screen.

If you want a change of pace you can play online with someone else and use their characters and still retain the gold you collect. By far I found the crucible method the easiest yet one of the more boring.

Hello Nurse!
As E'lara, defeat the Infected at the end of Chapter 1

As E'lara, defeat the Infected at the end of Chapter 1
As E'lara in any fight you generally want to use cover and your bow to take down the enemy. The fight against "The Infected" is a perfect example of this. I would recommend staying in the cover you originally end up in and picking off any enemies that hit ground level with your bow while also taking pot shots at "The Infected".
Using the "Arcane Burst" skill also inflicts large amounts of damage on any strong enemy are you progress through the game, use it here. When the enemy starts walking around the courtyard don't be afraid to use the "X" button to tumble out of the way of incoming attacks. Grab the nearest cover and let loose with another volley. Continue this strategy and "Battle Charge" Caddoc when he has melee range to end this battle quickly.
Once you defeat "The Infected" while in control of E'lara the trophy will pop.

As Caddoc, defeat the Infected at the end of Chapter 1
Most battles as Caddoc employ a chase and bash strategy. Use your crossbow to take out the enemies lining the walls and when the Infected jumps down simply run up and melee it when you have the chance. Use your shield to avoid blows and the "X" button to tumble out of the way if need be. In dire circumstances hide and let E'lara pound for a bit. Battle charging her can make this quite a bit easier.

As E'lara, squash the spider god while holding Caddoc’s hand in Chapter 2
This battle begins with you needing to run, hold "X" to run and take off towards the original left of the screen. Rocks will tumble down allowing you access to more tunnel. Enemies will run towards you at this point, ignore them as best you can and continue towards a 2nd rock wall. When this wall comes down you will see 2 ballistas. Jump on one and aim for the spider.
Eventually you will see a pillar above the spider that peaks your attention, at this point focus fire on the pillar instead and eventually it will come down and end the fight. Once you finish the fight the trophy will pop as you switch to chapter 3.

Kill the assassin at the docks in Chapter 3 as E'lara
The key to this fight is to take out the Assassin's staves whenever she distributes them around the arena quickly or else they will inflict heavy damage. I recommend tubling and running while shooting with your bow until they are disposed of. After this keep moving but use the auto-aim to inflict pain on the Assassin while you do so.
Continue this strategy and "Battle Charge" Caddoc when you get the opportunity and you will end this fight with relative ease. The trophy will pop between chapters.

As E'lara, send the demon in the library back to hell at the end of Chapter 4

As E'lara, send the demon in the library back to hell at the end of Chapter 4
There are two important things to note when taking on the Library Demon at the end of Chapter 4:
1. Make sure you have an upgraded Arcane Burst before coming into this battle, it inflicts massive damage on the demon when it's shields are down.
2. Whenever the demon goes into a red haze with bodies floating around it you must SHOOT THE BODIES FIRST to remove the barrier. If you are using auto-aim it will aim for the demon, ignore this and shoot the bodies.
If you have the above 2 points down this battle is relatively easy. Take down the demon's shield and then pound it with normal arrows or Arcane Burst. Caddoc in "Battle Charge" will also help when the shields are down. The trophy will pop between Chapters.

This battle is similar to the Spider Battle at the end of Chapter 2. Begin by going down the stairs in front of you and taking cover from the Dragon's Fire. Take up shot at one of the ballistas on either the right of left and shoot the dragon. Have Caddoc run around Battle Charged and destroy all the skeletons as they will become a pain later on in the fight. Once you take a shot you probably want to escape to cover until the dragon unloads and then head back to the ballista.
Continue this until the dragon rises into the air and then finish him off with a last shot from the ballista. The trophy pops between chapters.

Defeat Annuvin as E'lara

Defeat Annuvin as E'lara
Defeating Annuvin as E'lara really requires little thought. You need to shoot the demon in the chest and lower it's health to a static point before it begins using the pillars around it for regeneration. Once it does this you need to fire on the skeletons and give Caddoc room to knock the pillars over one at a time. After each pillar falls you can lower Annuvin's health by another quarter until finally the last pillar and the final boss of the game will fall.
In terms of strategy, keep the skeletons off Caddoc and stay back unless you need to advance for health or magic vials. When Annuvin separates his hands, duck in cover to avoid the blast that is coming. In general Caddoc will take his sweet time but when you see him on a pillar go all out to keep him there unhindered. As normal "Battle Charging" your ally is a worth goal in this scenario.
After you kill Annuvin the trophy will pop.

Defeat Annuvin as Caddoc

Defeat Annuvin as Caddoc
Since the AI is a little stupid most of the time this battle seems to be more difficult as Caddoc then E'lara. You need to shoot Annuvin in the chest until he relies on his pedestals for power. When you see him connected to one of these pillars with a white light, run to that pillar and hit "O" to initiate a button mash of "X" to knock the pillar over. Continue this until all the pillars are gone and then burn Annuvin down with the crossbow to finish this fight.
