[top]Tips & Strategies

Always remember, Practice Mode is your best friend. The key to truly mastering a character, getting down their combos, memorizing their moves and abilities, and just getting good and familiar with the game overall. Also, the game has a great tagging/un-tagging Special Moves/combos system where you can have the input for the desired combo or Special Move show up onscreen. Also, another great way to practice is online practice, which is essentially the same exact thing except your practice opponent is someone on your friends list, which helps greatly in getting good against other players. When having trouble, the answer is practice mode.

[top]Cheats, Glitches, & Exploits

A very cheap and frowned upon yet extremely effective method of getting wins online (Only necessary for Ranked Matches, which cannot be boosted) is to play as Deathstroke, get as far away from your opponent as possible, and simply spam his gun attacks, mainly his machine gun. This strategy is so effective because there is literally almost nothing the opponent can do (Unless they're also Deathstroke). Due to Deathstroke being widely known only for this, there are high chances of your opponent either quitting or also choosing Deathstroke. A way to get around this is to press , and select hidden cursor. This will make your character choice hidden to your opponent. Note that while effective, this method is a sure way to piss off other players so expect a lot of hate-ridden messages. This method can also be used in offline matches against the CPU but is nowhere near as effective. Here's a list of all of Deathstroke's gun moves and which direction each move fires at:

[top]Roadmap

Step 1: Complete the tutorial
Whether you're an expert at fighting games or not, you'll need to play through the tutorial to earn yourself Learning is Fun.

Step 2: Play through Story Mode
Story Mode is only a couple hours long and will help you get a feel for the game and certain characters. You'll earn Almost There, Sidekick and Justice For All. If needed, replay certain chapters in order to get Mini-Master.

Step 3: Practice Mode
Practice Mode allows you to get to know any characters and stages which will help you greatly in Battle Mode. You'll need to enter practice mode to earn Practice Makes Perfect.

Step 4: Battle Mode
Once you've practiced, work towards Rise to the Top and Top Rung. If you're a high enough level by now, you'll be able to unlock the rest of the Battle types and be able to earn Ultimate Battler. When playing through Classic Battle with each character make sure to perform all their Special Moves, Meter Burn, and Super Moves as well as performing a 10 hit combo so you can easily obtain Feel the Burn, Metahuman, Heavy Hitter, and Superhuman!.

Step 5: Online/Multiplayer
Next you should head to online mode and work towards all the online trophies. Note that Go Sit in the Corner, Groundbreaking, and Throwdown! can be done with a second controller and do not have to be done online. Breaking Records, Over the Top, Beginner's Luck, Buddy System, I Voted!, Overthrown, and Streak Ender can all be boosted if needed. The only online trophies that cannot be boosted are Lucky Break and Holy Knockout Batman!.

Step 6: S.T.A.R. Labs Missions
Next up are the S.T.A.R. Labs missions. Getting 3 stars in every mission is extremely difficult and time consuming but unfortunately it's needed for the platinum. Grinding though the S.T.A.R. Labs missions will earn you World's Finest, All Star, It Has Begun, I Conquered All and Overachiever. By the time you're done you'll likely be high enough level to unlock Cosplay, Gonna Need More Closet Space, and Hoarder.

Step 7: Grind/Misc. Trophies
Most likely, the last trophy you'll receive is The Hero We Deserve. The trophy takes hours of gameplay to get and is one giant grind. Thankfully, offline play counts towards the trophy and working towards any miscellaneous trophies you may have missed such as Tourist, Arkham City Lockdown, Around and Around We Go, Around the World, FINISHED, I Can Back it Up, Iconic Representation, Looking Good!, Only a Real Master, Perfect Aim, Statistical Advantage, The Caped Crusader, True Marksman, Unstoppable Force, and Wrecking Ball will help you get closer to getting the trophy.

Complete Classic Battle with all characters

Classic Battle is basically identical to other fighting games' Arcade Ladder (Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter). Unlock most of the other Battle Modes in the game, it is unlocked as soon as you start the game. You will face 9 randomly selected characters on the roster before facing Regime Superman. The 9 random opponents gradually get harder to beat, regardless of selected difficulty. Superman will take less than regular damage and do extra damage. If you lose a fight you can simply select "retry" and and retry whatever fight you were on with no repercussions. Every time you lose in a fight the fight will get easier and easier. After completing Classic Battle Mode with a character you'll unlock a unique Icon and Background related to that character, as well as a unique ending. The endings can be re-viewed in "Archives". You will be asked to choose a difficulty when selecting your character. Both "Easy" and "Very Easy" are extremely easy can be completed with a character you have no experience with, most likely. You must complete Classic Battle Mode with all 24 characters in Injustice.

For more information on interactions and a full list of every interaction in the game see Around and Around We Go. Go Sit in the Corner

Mini-Master

Mini-games are short interactive sequences that occasionally occur before fights in Story Mode. Most of them consist of quick time events and are fairly simple. [top]
The Hero We Deserve
Reach Level 100

In Injustice, leveling up is done by gaining XP. XP is earned by completing matches in absolutely any game mode. You gain Bonus XP by doing various different activities in the match such as hitting your Super Move, having perfect rounds, and using environmental objects in the area. This trophy is a gigantic grind and will likely be the last trophy you get if not one of the last. You should go for all other trophies before this, since they will all help gain you XP. It reportedly takes 50,796,671 XP to reach level 100, with level 90 being the halfway point. There are XP Multipliers that can help you gain XP faster (See Hoarder). Once you're done with everything else and are ready to grind for this trophy, the fastest way to get XP is to boost against a second controller in offline Versus mode. Set the Match Time to Unlimited in the main menu settings, choose a gadget character (See Around and Around We Go), and repeatedly use an environmental object that does not break after use. You get 50 XP for every time you use it. This is the fastest way to do this and having a turbo controller can certainly help with this, if you can position yourself and your opponent to a position where you stay in the same spot after every use of the object.
