This is the first mission of the game. After the opening cut-scene, you will be asked to find five memory chips that have fallen into enemy territory. This mission also acts as a tutorial so it’s really just your basic mission in which you get to the objective, take out any enemies in your way, and pick up the objective. Just keep following the tutorial until you get to a big gap between buildings and objectives. To get to the other building use the slingshot technique (grapple but parachute before the grapple is finished) and then you might have to walk a ways or grapple your way up the hill. Now continue the tutorial until you get to a point where you must chase an enemy that has run off with the chip. To follow him, use the slingshot technique along the gondolas until you get to the other side. Continue until it tells you to grapple to the chopper.
Once you grapple to the chopper you will hang from underneath until you get to the next base. She tells you to hang on and clear off the roofs but you can also just jump down and do it from the ground. The last chip is right in front of two mounted guns. To get by them just grapple behind them and shoot the guys in them from behind. Now grab the last chip.
Finally, reinforcements come and you must destroy two SAM sites so the chopper can pick you up. To destroy them, get up on to the roofs and from there, shoot any enemies you need to and destroy the two SAM sites with gunfire or preferably grenades. Once the area is clear, the chopper picks you up and the mission is over.

The second mission takes place right after the first mission when you finish watching some cut-scenes. You will start out in front of a casino in which your target (Blaine) is being held. Out front there will be a healthy amount of enemies to take out but you can easily get past them with patience and headshots. As you move up you will also be alerted of a demolition enemy who throws grenades at you. Find him and kill him as quick as you can but don’t get to close right away because he drops grenades where he dies. When all enemies from the front of the casino are killed you will get new objectives and these are bombs that you need to defuse.
Grapple your way up to where you see the objectives and there will be some enemies to take out. When you get to the bomb press to start defusing and follow the button sequence before the time runs out. When this bomb is defused, move to the next one and repeat. When all bombs are diffused, a chopper will come for you. To eliminate the chopper quickly don’t bother shooting it down. Instead, grapple to it and hijack it.
Now you will be shown where Blaine is and your goal is to get to him before he dies. To do this, simply fly over the sky-walk that he is in and jump out of the chopper.
Now after a cut-scene you have to defend Blaine's car as it drives to his home. You can either shoot out the tires of the vehicles so they stop following you or you can hijack them. It's much easier to stay on top of his roof and shoot out their tires because eventually there are too many vehicles to bother hijacking them all.

First you are tasked with rescuing a man who knows the location of the white tiger. Once, you get over to the destination grapple into one of the towers (preferably from the air to escape notice). If you made it without notice you can take out one of the 3 snipers before they spot you. Either way take them out fast because depending on the difficulty you are playing on they can kill you quick. When they are killed finish off the people in the courtyard below. Your objective will then bring you to a radio you use to call the executioner and your target out of the building. Now when the executioner comes snipe him out and get to your target fast. Follow RIGHT behind him or if you can predict his path just in front of him and protect him. When you make it to the motorcycles, this part of the mission is done.
Now just follow him on the motorcycles for a while before he spots an ambush and needs to be protected. Simply fight these guys off and you will continue again. Don't do what I did and just jump off the motorcycle because then it will explode and you will have to grapple and parachute after him the rest of the way. Follow him until you get to a little fort. When you get here I suggest going on the roof and picking people off one by one from as much cover as you can find. There is also a health station near the beginning of this section so wait until you need it to use it. Once you take out the main target in the area your objective will update but be careful for more lingering enemies. From your target you will receive the location of the White Tiger.
Now a chopper will come. Grapple up to it and hijack it to fly to the next objective. You will now meet with the White Tiger and find out his real identity and purpose. Now all that is left is to follow him around and protect him from the government soldiers that appear. He will give you a nice big machine gun so even on hardcore this shouldn't be too hard. When another cut-scene starts the mission will be over

When you start this mission you will be given some explosives and a chopper to fly a long way to the marked base. If you fail the mission don’t worry you won’t have to do the flying again. When you reach the base, four new objectives will appear that you have to destroy. There is no particular order you have to go in so here are just a few things to help.
When you get to certain bases, Sheldon will radio telling you about special enemies that are there but unlike stronghold missions they are not marked when they are spotted. At one objective, there are two mounted machine gun stations. To take out these either grapple to the building and drop down behind them or snipe their heads. You don’t have to take both out but I suggest it and also jump on their guns to take out the rest of the enemies. At another base there is one guy with a rocket launcher. He is usually on a rooftop so find him and take him out. At another base there are a few snipers but you can pretty much keep rolling to dodge them.
At all bases what you want to do is kill some of the men outside but also just to get inside as soon as possible. Once you get inside there are usually only 2-3 guys to take out. If you get behind the objective inside the building you should be protected from cover. Now just plant the explosives (switch from grenades to them by pressing ) and detonate to destroy the objectives but don’t stand too close or you will take damage. If you run out of the explosives, the grenades work well too. Once the objective is destroyed you will still hear shots outside but just get to a point where you can see the outside and launch yourself out and parachute away from the area.
When you destroy all four objectives it will task you with going to the base. When you get to the door, they will send three ninjas (yes ninjas) at you. Just roll around and aim for the head to take them out quickly. Once they are dead you find out that your target is no longer in the base so you have to get to her. To do so, run off the cliff and dive down until you get close to the ground. Now just parachute and grapple to travel over the ice after the cars. When you get close enough to the target car simply hijack it like you would any other vehicle.

This mission is actually quite fun because you are tasked with taking out three different guys, on three different rooftops, using three different methods. The first guy is pretty simple. From his stage he will throw explosives at you and from the ground his henchmen will come at you. There is a nice little stairwell on this roof that if you get into will protect you from his explosives (I did this even on hardcore and it happened to me but I wont guarantee it). When you can pop out from the stairs without danger from the boss or his henchmen, take him out with headshots. If he is close to death, don’t worry about his buddies because once the target is dead, the objective is complete. THIS IS TRUE FOR ALL THREE TARGETS. After a cut-scene, you will get a new target.
Grapple to the helicopter to move to the next roof. Once you land on the roof get to a spot on one of the sides that will allow you to get behind a wall to protect yourself from your target and his henchmen. When Sheldon flies over and fires on the tank, the tank will shoot at him and leave your target exposed. With a 4 star assault rifle and all headshots I was able to take him out in two fly-overs (on hardcore). Don’t forget to watch for his henchmen, as they like to sneak up on you. After another cut-scene, you will get the last target.
Since the helicopter is now gone, get to the next roof by using an object on the current roof to slingshot yourself over (slingshot is when you grapple to something and press parachute before you finish grappling). When you get close to the next roof don’t actually land on the roof but instead grapple to the lower windows where you can see something inside. In here there will be a handful of enemies to take out before you are free to take out both suite doors with grenades. When he moves to the roof he brings out the weirdest attack of all three targets. When his lasers find a place they seem to stay there and not follow you so once they beam down, stop and fire at his head. This one is the hardest with the combination of lasers and his henchmen. When he is finally down, the mission is completed.

Once you start this mission, you will be told you must pick a faction that you want to help you out. Which you choose doesn't matter for anything other than whose voice is in your ear as you progress in the mission. Even on hardcore I found this last mission really easy if you are good at evasion tactics. Before starting the mission also make sure you are stocked up (bring explosives) because once it starts, you can't call in the black market at all.
Right at the beginning of the mission you can push your guys forward enough to come into contact with enemies but once you do, back off and let them take out the enemies for you. They are pretty damn good fighters and it helps you conserve health and ammo. Once you get to the door that explodes as you approach you may not have many men left but you won't need them from here on out. Your next objective will be to take out 3 AA guns and the easiest way to do this is to grapple up to them once you spot them, run over to them and place two explosives, grapple away to somewhere safe and detonate. Even on hardcore this worked for me as long as you get up and plant the explosives fast and deal with any enemies by the AA guns fast. After this your objective will change and direct you to open the doors to the fortress.
Make your way over there and synchronize with your buddies and the doors will open and present you with a new objective. When you run down the hallway simply aim at the floor on the other side of the tunnel and slingshot your way into the air and across the room. Once you make it to the objective a cut-scene will play. When this ends a chopper will come down into the dome but IGNORE IT. Instead run to the ledge and grapple straight down into the middle of the lowest level. Here there will be 4-5 guys to take care of. Do this quick because if you don't, more enemies will come and make it harder for you to hack the terminal. Once you are free from gunfire hack the terminal and the voice in your ear will tell you to get out of the dome because it is set to self destruct (cliche I know). Once you make it to the entrance (guarded by two more enemies) the mission is over.

This mission will start right after the last so you don't have to cause anymore chaos to unlock it. Like the last mission, I found this one quite easy even on hardcore. The first objective instruct you to get to an oil field. Get a boat or a chopper and start heading there. As you get closer you find out that OMG ITS A NUCLEAR SUBMARINE and Sheldon lets you know that your "bird" is no match for it (even if you are in a boat 
). Anyway make your way to the sub and get ready for the only tough part of this mission.
As you make your way to the sub, 3 choppers will come at you and make pretty short work of you if you linger too long. My advice is to grapple up to one of them and hijack it. Because the sub deck has 4 SAM stations on it you might not last long in the air but start shooting at the SAM stations as soon as you can and if they shoot you down hijack one of the other choppers. As soon as all of the SAM stations and choppers are taken care of, use your current chopper to take out as many enemies on the deck as you can or just hop down and take them out on foot. When they are all taken out you can now hack the door panel to get inside. A cut-scene will now play before the final boss fight.
Panay is really not very hard at all as last bosses go as long as you avoid his rockets. Also, do not try to get up to the platform where he is standing under any circumstances. If you go up there, mini turrets unload on you and it's also hard for him to miss you from that range.
To take him out stay behind the two pallets full of wood as they offer great protection and are not breakable. From behind the pallets, first take out the ninjas (yes more ninjas) as fast as you can. Whenever you see Panay fire his rocket launcher at you simply roll away with 
because the burst fire is so close together that if you roll once you dodge all of his shots. When you take care of the ninjas, and when he is not shooting at you, aim for his head and fire away. Make sure you aim for his head because shots to the body do virtually nothing. He will send two more waves of ninjas at you, each coming in greater numbers, as you get his health down low. When you get his health bar down to zero, a cut-scene will play and you will be taken to a rather fun but easy finale.
From the rocket that you start on hop to one of the side rockets with 
. This will make it easier to jump between rockets once they start dropping off. Now all you have to do is take shots at Panay until he drops off the side of the rocket. While he is trying to climb back up, press 
and complete the button sequence to disarm the bomb. After the bomb is disarmed use to jump to the next missile. Repeat this for the other two missiles (other than the one he is standing on). When all three are taken out, you can now press to jump to the rocket he is on. This will trigger the final cut-scene and the story missions are now over.
Congratulations and continue to enjoy the game in Mercenary Mode.

Hardcore can be a bit or a pain but its not impossible hard. The difficulty trophies do stack so you can start the game on Hardcore mode. So helpful little hints to beating the game in this difficulty are:
Always keep moving
Use your grapple and your parachute to keep on the move and away from mass groups of enemies. Don't forget to roll when being shot at to quickly dodge the rounds.
Theres always a helicopter when you need one
There are helicopters everywhere if you know where to look and 90% of them are armed so make an assault from the air if the objectives call for an assault.
Keep your distance
Don't just jump right into a base and expect to complete the mission. Keep back and try to find a way in that looks a little less protect or use a rocket launcher and just take out your target from a distance
Don't be afraid to run away
When your health gets low, or your heat gets too high for you to handle, don't be afraid to use your grapple and parachute to slingshot your way out of trouble. If you're low on health go grab some and if your heat is the issue evade it and come back. Don't try to stick around and complete the mission if you are on the verge of death. This will only lead to aggravation and it won't take you long to get away from the action, regroup, and renew your assault. While agency missions won't be as easy to escape from, this method works well for location completing and faction missions.

There are exactly 9 stronghold takeovers in this game. 3 for each faction compete missions or cause chaos to unlock the next one. When you unlock a stronghold takeover one for each faction will unlock so 3 total so you only have to unlock a stronghold 3 times. Just protect the factions guy and kill the stronghold commander to complete the takeover.

This is one of those trophies that you don't have to work for. Whenever you destroy something that belongs to the Panua Goverment its counted as a sabotage. i.e. Fuel Tanks, Guard Towers, Fuel Barrels, Radio Masts and Generators. You will get this without even trying.

When you find a colonel he will always have a handful of elites around him so it's best to approach him from a direction that you can get a long shot from. Take out your sniper rifle or assault rifle and aim for the head. Once he is killed its best just to make your way out of the area. If you shoot at a colonel and don't kill him, they sometimes disappear for a while.

Challenges consist of races. Some are car, some are plane and a few are boat races. They are all ranked by difficulty from 1-3 stars. Even with the 3 star races, very few of them are actually difficult. In between missions just get some down and you should get 50 done before long. You can check how many challenges you have completed in the stats menu on your PDA.

You would think this trophy would be super hard but really its super easy and you will barely have to try for this one. There are 2700 resources across the map. Above your map on your HUD you will see a signal bar that will guide you to a resource item. Keep walking and as it gets stronger your getting closer. When the Signal starts flashing your close to the resource and a white arrow will show up on your HUD guiding you to the item.

This trophy is very easy each faction has items scattered across the map that you need to collect. When you open up you map in your PDA you will see blue dots. These will be you faction items collect 150 of them and the trophy is yours.

The easiest way to do this is to get a plane and fly low over any buildings you see. If you want to coordinate a little better open your PDA and all the white dots are areas you have explored yet so just fly over them really low and you will discover the location.

This trophy is easily done on some of the smaller villages and bases. For this trophy you need to destroy all Panua Goverment Facilities and Find all Resources in the Town/Base. These include Fuel Tanks, Sam Sites, Radio Towers, Generators, Weapon Parts, Vehicle Parts, Armor Upgrade, Money Stashes. I suggest using a helicopter and destroy everything in the town then fly around and collect the resources. Some of the smaller towns have only 1 thing to collect and 2 things to destroy so just stick with the small ones and you will have it in no time.

To attach an enemy to your car you aim at the enemy and then grapple AND HOLD THEM them by pressing and holding and then turn your aim to the car and let go of . This one can be a bit tricky. For this trophy you are going to want a chopper that is capable of lifting a car. Now use your grappling hook to tether the car and the chopper together. Get in the chopper and find a group of enemies (biggest groups hang out around colonels and propaganda trailers). Now drop low enough with the chopper so that the car is touching the group and go forward and hopefully crash into and kill as many enemies as possible with the car. You can keep track of wrecking ball kills by looking in the stats menu on your PDA.

This one is easier than it sounds because you have an easy way to get an enemy up into the air attached to your left arm. Aim at an enemy on the ground and press and you will shoot them with a grapple and pull them in the air. This will give you time to shoot them a few times but you may need to do this a few times to get the kill. Repeat this 30 times. You can keep track of your juggler kills by looking in the stats menu on your PDA.

This one is pretty self explanatory. When you get heat on you jump in a vehicle and hit your enemies as hard as you can to kill them. Repeat this 30 times. You can keep track of your road kills by looking in the stats menu on your PDA.

You can use the sniper rifle to do this one or use your zoom function to easily get headshots. If you just run and gun, the auto aim will just place the reticule in the enemies chest and this will not work. To use the zoom function on any gun just click

You can concentrate on doing this right off the bat like I did but you really don't have to. Even after making sure I got headshots on every enemy, I still get about 1 headshot per 3 kills.

This can easily be done on most sabotage missions but if you happened to miss it later in the game you will do a mission for the Ular Boys called "Holy Smoke" Each time the enemy waves advance on you there are groups of 10 to 15 with very small intervals before the next advance so you will easily get it during this mission.

This trophy can be easily done on the "Oil for Blood" Stronghold mission for the Roaches. Enemies will come in 5 to 10 man groups and will be far enough away to easily takeout using the assault rifle and zooming in. Just be sure to hang back behind your guys so you can stay out of the range of the enemies while picking them off. You should get this trophy right before the stronghold commander shows up.

This is the first place I found to get this and its actually within the first like 10 minutes of the game. When you grapple the chopper to move to the next area, go past the last memory card, kill the guys in the machine gun turrets and use one to do this...
One thing the video misses is right before it starts I had destroyed some stuff where I'm shooting at the beginning of the video.

To Hijack a vehicle you much grapple yourself onto it and kill all the passengers. When the passengers are all gone you will hit to enter the vehicle. You will then have to go through a button sequence to get the driver out. Once hes gone the Hijack will be complete. You will find yourself doing this a lot with helicopters responding to the chaos you create. You can keep track of your hijacks by looking in the stats menu on your PDA.

Everytime you get airborne when driving a vehicle you get a stunt point. 1 Stunt point per jump. The best place to farm these stunt points are on the south west island near the town of Kampung Gunung Merah there are a bunch of giant ramps that are one after another just make sure you upgrade one of your agency vehicles so it has alot of armor.
You also receive stunt points for driving at a high rate of speed for extended time with the high speed sports cars. I first discovered this in the Garret Traver-Z. Find a long stretch of interstate (around Panau City is best) and just cruise. Once you get up to speed you should receive a stunt point for every 5 seconds of driving fast.

Mercenary mode is simply what the game is called once you finish the story missions. Your completion rate goes up in this game for pretty much everything you do whether it be destroying property, doing missions (faction, agency, or stronghold takeover) finding new locations. Also make sure to not only FIND locations but also to COMPLETE them. To do this destroy every piece of government property and find every weapon part, vehicle part, money stash, or armor upgrade in the location. You can check your completion rate every time you save your game or in the stats menu.

The key here is finding a mountain that is not too steep but more of a gradual incline. You also need to climb it at an angle because if you try to climb it straight on your more likely to touch down.

The blimps in this video are on the eastern side of the map. If you open your world map they are a pretty big object in the middle of a bunch of islands (Coordinates: X: 29584 m | Y: 11435 m). Just take a plane or chopper over there. IMPORTANT: Make sure that you JUMP off and don't just fall off the blimp. You will know you jumped and didn't fall if it keeps track of your distance as you fall. Press

There are more than 30 bridges in the game so you will easily get this one done. Just find a river and follow it with your plane going under each bridge you see along the way. When you fly under one that you haven't gone under before it will be counted as a bridge limbo. You can keep track of your bridge limbos by looking in the stats menu on your PDA.

Go to any airport and find an airplane then just fly it as low as you can over the water for 30 seconds very easy just watch out for boats when you do this.
