[top]Tips & Strategies

  1. Play/Watch 358/2. You will need to finish this to obtain Card Master Sora. You will also need to have a save file for Reverse/Rebirth. This will help you obtain the secret cards.
  2. When leveling up, choose Sleights when they are available. This will help you obtain Sleight Master
  3. When you don't have a sleight available to get when leveling up, switch between HP and CP. The CP are your card points. The more you have, the more cards you can add in your deck and higher valued cards you can add.
  4. Organize your deck to have an assortment of Attack, Magic and Item cards. This will make it so you have Sleights available to use.
  5. Use your first run on Beginner to obtain most of the miscellaneous trophies.
  6. When opening doors, watch what cards you use. Different cards have different *powers*.

Undefeated
Clear the game without using a continue.

This can be done with either Sora or Riku

This can be tricky if you don't have a good deck or choose to not go to a save portal before a boss battle.

To not use a continue, you must not lose in a fight. If you do you will be given the option to continue or to go to the title page. You do NOT want to hit the continue. If you saved before you died, just go to the title page and restart from your last save. This can get annoying if you did not have a good save because this means you might have to do the whole town over in which you died in. You will also lose the levels your grew as well as the cards you found and sleights you learned.

To avoid losing progress but still going about not using continues, have a good deck for the little fights and make sure before a boss fight you travel back through the doors to the Entrance Hall and save.

[top]
Veggie Master
Get a score of 150 points or higher in the Veggie Panic mini-game.

You will find the Veggie Panic guide in 100 Acre Woods. You will come across Rabbits house (it has a garden in front) and when you go to the back of the house you will run into Rabbit. He will ask you to help him sort out his veggies.

You will have six chances to miss one of the pumpkins or cabbages before you fail the mini game.

Hit to hit the pumpkins to the right and hit to hit the cabbages to the left. Sometimes you will run into huge veggies and in front of them will be carrots. Hit the carrots with and then continuously hit to throw the keyblade at the giant veggie. Pooh will also occasionally walk onto the field in which case you will need to hit when prompt to hit the veggies away from Pooh. The veggies start coming slowly at first but as time goes on they start to get a bit faster, so it because a bit more complicated to hit them away.

Getting to 150 is annoying and will take a few tries and some practice,

[top]
Ace Pilot
Get a score of 500 points or higher in the Balloon Glider mini-game.

This mini game is also in the 100 acre woods. Right after you meet up with Rabbit and do the veggie panic mini-game, you will walk a bit more to see some balloons on a log, Hit to accept the game.

Press to fly up and release to lower yourself. Use the right analog stick to control the balloons. You have to go around and up the tree to collect all the coins lying around. If you watch the coins, they occasionally make an arrow to show you when to go up or over.

If you happen to pop all your balloons and branches or bees, the game is over. You can, however, collect more balloons as you are flying up but you can only have a total of 3 balloons at a time.

There is no time limit here, so take your time while collecting the coins as you make your way up and around.

There are exactly 500 coins in the mini game says so when you first start it up so I don't see how you can get the "or higher part" but I can only give you the fact that I got every coin in the first run through and had exactly 500 points on the dot. I even had to float down and get some i missed

[top]
High Jumper
Get a score of 120 points or higher in Tigger's Jump-a-thon mini-game.

This mini-game comes after the Balloon mini-game. You will come to an area where there are 4 tree stumps and Tigger is bouncing around. This game is a lot like Simon-Says. You have to copy each bounce that Tigger does. Use , , and in the order that Tigger does it. The combo will get pretty big, so I hope you have a good memory.

If not, what I did, since it wasn't timed, was I wrote it down and just added the next few bounces to the end of the list.

[top]
Sky Diver
Get a score of 2,000 points or higher in the Whirlwind Plunge mini-game.

This mini-game comes after you have done the Tigger game. As you proceed forward, you will come to a well. Jump into the well and it will shoot you up into the air. During this game, you a free falling from the sky holding onto Pooh. You have to collect the coins while dodging objects. In the beginning of the free fall, it's pretty simple and there isn't that much debris for you to hit into. As you get further into the fall, you will run into a few trees flying in the air. If you let go of Pooh due to you hitting an object, move up to Pooh and press . During the time you are not holding onto Pooh, you can not collect the coins. To dodge the objects, press over with the analog stick and .

[top]

Bee Buster
Clear all 70 bees within 1 minute and 40 seconds in the Bumble-Buster mini-game.

This is the final mini game you will come across, and it comes right after the whirlwind plunge. You will be given several different keyblade attack cards as well as a wind card and honey card. The honey card will heal Pooh as he is getting stung by the bee's but be careful because as he is healing you can't attack.

The keyblade cards will attack the bee's of course, but they will also use their own cards so be careful they don't break your cards. The wind card will blow the bee's away.

As long as you use all your attack cards, followed by the wind card, this shouldn't be to bad. Pay attention to Poohs health though, because if it runs out, it's game over.

You need to get rid of all 70 bees in 1 minute 40 seconds, so have some sort of little strategy.

[top]
A Slumber to Remember
Clear Sora's story mode

Story related. Can't be missed.

You will receive this trophy once you have completed Sora's playthrough. It does not matter what difficulty you complete it on. The trophy will pop once you have beaten the final boss and the credits come rolling in.

Record Keeper Sora
Collect all Jiminy's Journal entries.

There are four different entries you need to fulfill in Jiminy's journal. The entries are
Card Master Sora
Storyteller Sora
Character Professor Sora
Mini-game Maniac Sora

Not all of these are easy to obtain.

Storyteller and character professor are pretty much story related in the sense that as you play through the story you will unlock each entry in the journal.

For the mini game entries, all you have to do is make sure you play the mini game in Monsto and all the games in 100 Acre Wood. There is no way to not do these, so these are basically story related as well.

The hardest one is going to be the Card Master one. Here you will need to collect cards such as attack, world, map, enemy, friend, summon, item and magic. For the most part, most of them you will get along your journey. The one that will give you the most trouble will be the attack cards and especially the enemy cards.

For the enemy cards, you need to wait for the enemy to drop their card at the end of the fight. The chances of this happening is about 2% or less.

***Tips for enemy cards***
  • Enemy cards can be obtained when you defeat a certain enemy last in battle. So if you need a Bandit, make sure he is the last enemy you defeat.
  • Teeming Darkness, Looming Darkness and Almighty Darkness are three good map cards to use to increase the drop rate of enemy cards a bit.
  • Black Room, White Room and Teeming Darkness are three good cards to use when aiming for Black Fungus, White Mushroom and Barrel spider. The ONLY time you will encounter the Black Fungus and White Mushroom are with the cards.

Collect all D Report entries.

There are three different entries you need to fulfill in the D-report. The entries are
Card Master Riku
Storyteller Riku
Character Professor Riku

All three are basically obtainable as you play through Riku's story. Unlike Sora's, you don't need to wait for the enemies to drop their cards to collect the enemies cards. You simply just have to battle each type of enemy at least once.

The story entries will all be obtainable automatically as you complete the story for Riku. Same as with the Character entries.

Novice Deck Builder
Edit a card deck for the first time.

Go into the start menu and go to review decks. Simply go into edit deck and try out the editing deck process. When you back out the trophy will pop.

[top]
Expert Deck Builder
Edit a card deck 500 times

Through out the game you will find yourself editing your deck quite a bit. I'm not sure if you will get to do it 500 times, but you will always be switching it up as you add new cards when you upgrade your cp, or as you add higher level cards and take out the low leveled ones and so on. You will simply just need to go into the Start menu, go to review decks, then over to edit. Do this 500 times and the trophy will pop.

[top]
Premium Card Maker
Make 20 cards become Premium Cards.

While you are fighting Heartless, you will notice sometimes they drop a *P* card. This card is "access" to the premium room. This is basically a big roulette table of all your cards that's spinning. When you hit it will stop on a card and which ever card it is, it will become premium. You can also use a Premium card key to open a door and it will give you more of a chance of getting the *P* card. You have to make 20 premium cards, so you must access this roulette table 20 times. Do not get it confused with just the Card Roulette as this just gives you World cards to open doors.

[top]
No Escape
Clear the game without fleeing from a single battle.

This is pretty simple. Whenever you are in a battle, if you go to the side it will have a gauge that will slowly empty. When the gauge is gone, you will have successfully ran from a battle. Best way to avoid this, stay away from the sides. Stick to the middle whenever you are in a battle so that you don't accidentally flee. When you have completed the game, if you have not ran from a single battle, the trophy is yours.

Level Master Sora
Max out Sora's level

Sora's max level is 99. To grow to a new level, you must defeat enemies to gain the XP. At first, it won't be to hard to gain the XP and level up, but you will notice as you get higher up, rising a level gets more difficulty due to how much more XP you need. You will need to go back to levels and farm enemies.

To gain a lot of XP, I would suggest playing some of the later levels over as they give out more XP then the lower levels in the beginning.

[top]
Card Breaker
Break an enemy's card 1,500 times.

The number on the cards range from 0-9. 1 being weak and 9 being strong. The cards with *0* are special. No matter what card the enemy throws out, if you use a *0* card, you will break theirs. BUT if you use your *0* card to soon, the enemy can break it with any card they play. The *0* card is very powerful if used last but basically pointless and useless if used first. If you and your opponent use a card at the same time, the higher card wins. When you use a card of equal or higher value of your opponent, it is called a *Card Break*.

So as you are fighting with enemies, watch the bottom of the screen and when you see an enemy card, look at the number. Depending on the number of their card, you need to throw out one of equal or higher value to break theirs. Do this 1,500 times for the trophy.

Sadly there is no way to keep track, but if you keep doing it every chance you can, it really shouldn't be to hard.

When you use Stocked cards, it will most likely, all the time, break the enemies card.

Stocking Cards
You can assemble 3 cards and use them all at once. This makes the attack much more powerful then using one at a time. The sum of all three cards you stocked becomes the value. This value is usually very hard to match and break and deals a lot of damage.
-If you stock three cards carefully, you will be able to use special moves called *Sleights*. Sleights come in different varities and they each have their own unquie card combination.

***When you stock cards, the first card you pick will disappear. It will not return till the end of the battle.***

[top]
Tightrope Walker
Replenish HP when you have less then 5% HP

This could be considered luck based. Your healthy has to be real low, just about all gone. When this happens, use a recovery card to recover your health.

**May also work if you are not in battle and collect the green healing orbs from breaking and/or hitting items around the worlds**

[top]
Interceptor
Strike an enemy before entering a battle 150 times.

For this trophy, you must be the one to initiate the battle with the enemy. This means, before the enemy touches you, or you touch an enemy, you have to swing and make contact with the swing. Just walking up to them and touching them does not count or if you are in mid swing and they hit you it does not count. The attack must be what starts the fight. You will know if it was the attack because when you enter into the fight, their health will be lowered and/or they will be in a daze and not attack right away.

[top]
Duel Master
Win 100 duels.

Duel System
Show the same valued card as the opponent's and press to start. Break all the enemies cards to execute a sleight. You will need more then 8 cards.

So basically, as you are battling enemies, try to match the value of one of your cards to your opponents. This will activate the duel, so you will need to press to stat the duel. Once the duel has started there will be a time limit depending on the difficulty of the opponent. You will have a certain amount of time to beat the opponents cards with your own. If successful, you will preform a sleight to hit the enemies. If you are to slow, you will become dazed for a short period allowing the enemies to attack you.

Sometimes you will need to only match 3 cards, sometimes 5 cards and sometimes more.

Try to be fast about it, you can just spam until a card breaks the opponents, as you will get all the cards back in the end.

[top]
Battle Card Collector
Obtain over 300 battle cards.

Battle cards are your keyblade cards. Throughout the worlds you will continuously find Keyblade cards from objects you hit. Collect 300 of them for the trophy.

A good way to get this is when you are working towards the Moogle trophies. As you are buying cards from the Moogles you will be getting Keyblade cards as well.

[top]
Moogle Mogul
Get over 10,000 Moogle Points.

Moogle Points are the red orbs you find when you break or hit objects around the world. All you have to it hit everything you can and search for these red orbs. There are plenty throughout each world, so it's not incredibly hard to do, but it can get a bit boring to keep searching.

[top]
Regular Customer
Use over 20,000 Moogle Points at Moogle Shops.

Moogle Points: are the little red orbs you find either from enemies, breaking things throughout the worlds or hitting objects in the worlds.

Moogle shops: You will need to first make sure you have a Moogle Shop card. If you do, when you are going to open a door, instead of using a card with a number, go over to the blue cards and select the Moogle shop card. Go through the door to see the Moogle there. They will give you a free pack when you enter the first time.

There are only so many packs of cards in the shop at a time. If you buy one, it will then become sold out.

The shop is not only a place for you to purchase packs of cards, but you can also sell some of your cards if you do not want/need them. You sell them for Moogle points to use towards the store.

Getting to spend 20,000 can be a bit annoying especially since you can buy one pack after another, after another and so forth. So you will need to leave and come back several times, or use a different shop card to open the shop some where else.

[top]
Room Creator
Synthesize 300 rooms.

Even if you open every door in every world you will not get this trophy.

The first thing you will want to do is save your game. This way, once you get the trophy, you can reload the save and have all your map cards back. Find an easy world such as Traverse Town or one of the earlier worlds. Go in and out of the door several times, using a card to open it.

You can even go up to a door you have already opened, and press to use a different card on it. I am not 100% sure if this works, it's still a look into thing.

[top]
Treasure Hunter
Open 10 chests from hidden rooms.

As you are fighting enemies in each world, you will notice that sometimes you come across a card called *Key of Rewards*. Find the door to which this card opens and fulfill the requirements to open it. Inside the room is usually a lot of health orbs in breakable objects and a treasure chest on top of a platform.

Open up 10 rooms and open each of the 10 treasure chest in each room.

[top]
Ace Striker
Hit an enemy with an object

After you pass through the first door, you will learn that certain objects that are labeled can be picked up when you press . Pick up the item and wait till you find a heartless and throw the object at them with . If it connects, the trophy will pop.

[top]Bosses

Traverse Town
Boss: Guard Armor
There are three parts to this boss you will need to hit and destroy. These parts arethe Armored Torso, the Gauntlets, and the Hammerlegs. Attack each part until it is destroyed and when you have destroyed the last part, he will fall. This isn't an incredibly hard fight, just when you are going go in for an attack, jump up for the torso and arms.

Halloween Town
Boss: Oogie Boogie
If you pay attention to the center of the screen at the bottom, you will see Oogies card. You must break his card with a card or stocking of cards at least 3-4 times. When you have done this, the bars in front of Oogie will come down, giving you a chance to go up and get some hits it. Make the hits count as he will eventually jump and knock you on the bottom platform again. When he does this, you will need to break his cards again and wait for the bars to drop. Try to do it in a decently fast manner because sometimes he will recover a bit of his health.

**Remember, if you are stocking your cards, watch how many times you do this. The first card in the three will NOT come back to your hand till the END of the fight. So if you keep stocking you may run out of cards.

Agraba
Boss: Genie Jafar
If you look around you will see the parrot flying around the arena with the lamp. Jump to one of the highest platforms and focus on the bird. Make sure there is no Jafar card up as you won't be able to hit the bird unless you break the card. Keep running around and avoid Jafars attacks while focusing on the bird. Keep hitting the bird every chance you get until he is defeated.

Olympus Coliseum
Boss: Cloud
Because Cloud uses a lot of different Sleights when he is stocking cards, you will want to lock onto him. This makes it easier to dodge out of the way when he comes in for an attack. Continue to watch the bottom center of the screen to see his cards and try to break them and then go in for an attack. His attacks are powerful so it is very wise to try and dodge them all.

Boss: Hades
He is just a bit more difficult then Cloud. Much like Cloud, Hades uses a lot of stocking thus using a lot of different Sleights. Again, it is easier to lock onto him to make it easier to avoid. Watch the bottom center of the screen to see his cards and match them and break them. A good time to go in for some good hits is when he reloading his cards, so watch the right bottom corner and when you see him filling up, run over and throw out attacks. Just keep repeating this and he will eventually fall.

***Do NOT use fire attacks against Hades. This will help him recover his health.***

Monstro
Boss: Parasite Cage
While the Flower thing sits upon one platform, you have 4 platforms that go around. Don't stand on one for to long as it will sink down. When you get close to the Flower thing, start laying out attacks. If you have a Mickey card, use it as it will make one big platform for you to be on to make it easier to lay out a lot of attacks.

Wonderland
Boss: Cards
You just have to defeat the numerous cards that are attacking you. Use your card to deck to weild out different attacks to defeat them.

Boss: TrickMaster
You will start on a table, in which you do not need to stay upon it. This boss isn't that hard to beat nor is it to powerful. As long as your deck has good cards, generally over 5, you should have no problem. Magic cards seem to work well too. So keep unleashing your card attacks on him and you will have him defeated with no problem.

Castle Oblivion Hall - Exit hall 6F(after the final world from the first set)
Boss: Larxene
This is tough. Her moves are fast and powerful, especially when she stocks cards. Lock onto her and try your best to avoid her attacks when possible. Have strong cards in your deck and only stock when you need too. Electric attacks (lightning) will help her recover, so chose your attacks carefully.

Between floor 7F and 10F
Atlantica
Neverland
Hollow Bastion
100 Acre Wood

Atlantica
Boss: Ursula
In order to actually cause damage to Ursula, you have to hit her four tentacles first. Once all four are off the platform, you can then hit her with some attacks. The magic cards seem to work best with her as well as playing a mickey card.

Exit hall after 7F
Boss: Riku
Riku is fast and uses strong cards. You want to make sure your deck has a lot of cards with a value over at least 7 if you want to break his attacks. Once his attacks are broken you can lock onto him and go in to get some shots in yourself. You want to be fast as well as dodge his attacks. Stocking cards also come in good use, but remember, stock to many and you may run out of cards.

Riku Bosses

Hollow Bastion
Boss: Malefiecent Dragon
With the set deck you are given, this fight isn't at all hard. Just keep throwing out attacks and if she happens to play a high leveled card, just stock 3 cards. This will break her card and allow you to hit her.

Floor B12F Exit Hall
Boss: Ansem
During this fight, it's basically a tutorial on how to use the Duel System.

B11F Entrance Hall
Agrabah
Monstro
Neverland
Traverse Town

Agrabah:
Boss: Jafar-Genie
With Riku, the fighting system is basically the same as Sora. In order to defeat the Genie, you have to attack the lamp while counting and avoiding the Genies attacks. For some strange reason, it seems to be a bit harder to hit the bird with the lamp then it was for Sora. You will also need to stock a few times to counter some of the genies attacks. The fight itself is not to difficult, more annoying then anything.

Monstro
Boss: Parasite Cage
With Riku, the fighting system is basically the same as when you played as Sora. In order to defeat the Parasite Cage, you will need to jump from platform to platform and hit the Parasite Cage when you are close. Unlike with Sora, this is incredibly easy. You can stand right next to the Parasite Cage and continue to throw attacks out. Don't worry about your health to much as every so often the Parasite Cage releases some Green Orbs for you to pick up.

Exit Hall B10F
Boss: Vexen
This will be your first *hard* fight. Vexen is fast, powerful and has a sheild for his guard. You can't hit him with his sheild up, unless it is from the back which is a little hard to get to. You will want to wait till you either break a card, or break a Sleight of his with a sleight of one of your own. If you break enough cards, you will go into dark mode which makes your hits a lot more powerful. When in dark mode, just keep attacking.

Neverland
Boss: Hook

Traverse Town
