Sephiroth as a Bronze? that's just mean, I remember him as one of the hardest boss fights for ps2. I 100% this game back in the day and it took forever, looks like I will have to buy this one soon and redo the past.

    Nice guide

They made all optional bosses bronze. That's why; plus, he's much easier if you play on beginner, a difficulty that wasn't in the original PS2 American version of the game.

Does anyone know where the various stones are dropped? I have the guide and they're not listed. I can't get past 11 items sythesized.

There's a typo in the Undefeated trophy. The last sentence says "Once you have completed the game and viewed the final credits you will receive this trophy as long as you haven't changed any characters armor." This sentence belongs under the Unchanged Armor trophy.

I'm on my normal playthrough, just got finished with the Guard Armor battle and since it's been 10 years since I've played this game, I've forgotten a few things, so if anyone can remind me:
    1) Can you purchase the lower ranked shields and staves (Stout Shield, Smasher, Morning Star, Warhammer, etc.) when the higher ranked equipment is available (Wisdom Staff, Grand Mallet, Onyx Shield, Adamant Shield)?
    2) Do you need to have all the shields and staves to unlock Master Defender and Master Magician or can you sell off the weaker stuff as you get stronger equipment?
    3) Once you complete Monstro, you can't go back to Monstro, correct? Or is it my memory?

EDIT: I've figured out my first and third question, but have read conflicting stuff on the Master Defender and Master Magician trophies. Some places say that you can sell the stuff after you obtain it and others say it all has to be in your inventory at the same time.
