Collectible Trophies: Yes. It's a LEGO game. There are minikits, red hats, and gold bricks to collect/earn. Much time will be spent earning these items. In addition, you'll need to use Jack Sparrow's compass to find 8 hidden items in every level.
Missable Trophies: None due to level select.
Equipment Required: Two controllers.

[top]Tips & Strategies

  • During gameplay you can switch to other characters on the screen by tapping . If there are multiple characters about, face the one you want to switch to and then tap .
  • Check your progress towards fulfilling a level's requirements by pausing with . In the bottom-left of the screen you'll see how many of the 10 ships in bottles (minikits) you've earned. In the bottom-right, top-middle, and top-left you'll see how many hidden compass items you've found, what % of True Pirate status you've reached, and how many studs you've earned during this playthrough of the level, respectively. Note that the minikits and compass items are cumulative totals while the studs and True Pirate progress bar are not.
  • When hunting for studs, go out of your way to find blue and purple studs as they are worth 1,000 and 10,000, respectively. They are commonly hidden right up against walls and boxes, in blind corners and right up against your TV screen.
  • Using Jack's Compass - In every level of the game there are 8 items you can find using Jack Sparrow's compass. Any version of Jack can be used for this. To use his compass, hold down and use to highlight what it is you want to find on the 8-option quick-select. Follow the mini hurricane and blue ghosted footprints until you find what you're looking for. Some items may only be found in certain areas within each level. This is a useful component of the game and it is not difficult at all to find what you're looking for, so I will not be listing all eight compass items for each level.
  • Searching for characters to buy: all characters you can purchase must be unlocked during Story Mode. After you complete Story Mode, every character in the game can be found in the hub. This includes the dock area on the right, the main dock, the beach nearer the screen than the main dock, the area on the left, both taverns in the area on the left, and Tia Dalma's hut on the far left of the area left of the main dock.

[top] Roadmap

Step 1: Complete All 20 Story Mode Levels (in Story Mode). - The game offers five chapters for each of the four Pirates of the Caribbean movies, for a total of 20 levels. Your goal is to plow your way through every level, which will do several things including:
  • Unlock all levels for use in Free Play.
  • Unlock the characters you use in each level for use in Free Play.
  • Help you start chipping away at the pile of gold bricks and studs you must earn.
  • Make you somewhat familiar with each level.

Having said that, don't waste your time trying to explore areas you can't access yet. Every level will have some semi-hidden areas that your Story Mode characters can't access due to lack of specific abilities.

Note: After you complete Port Royal (Film 1, Chapter 1) you'll be given a choice of paths to take through Story Mode. You can choose whichever path you like, but the game will be most enjoyable if you play through all the films in order.

Step 2: Buy a nice collection of red hats and buy Blackbeard. - As soon as you can, buy the "Treasure x2" Red Hat, especially if you aren't done with Story Mode yet. Go for the treasure multipliers, maybe the treasure magnet, "always double treasure", or even the ship-in-a-bottle minikit detector. Also pick up Extra Toggle and use it on every level.

Step 3: Complete All 20 Levels in Free Play. - You will need to play 50-95% of every level over again in order to do the following:
  • Collect all 10 bottle minikits for each level - I've listed their locations under Hoist the Colours!. Any minikits you earn on a level stay earned -- you will not have to recollect them if you visit a level another time.
  • Find all 8 compass items for each level - I haven't listed their locations because all you need to do is make sure you periodically check for items using Jack's compass.
  • Get True Pirate status on each level. With treasure multipliers, this is a piece of cake. I've written the requirements for True Pirate status in the brief walkthroughs I've written below.
  • Toggle through all the "Extra Toggle" characters in each level. At the start of each level, with the Extra Toggle red hat on, just hold and cycle through everybody until you get back to the beginning, then proceed with the level.


Step 4: Mop Up the Miscellaneous Trophies. - You might not have unlocked all of the specific trophies at this point, so do so now. For example, you may need:
  • To high dive from the Maelstrom.
  • To buy all red hats.
  • To wear all red hats and play a level.
  • To complete Port Royal with a total of zero studs.
  • A few other actions, all related to separate trophies. See the individual descriptions below.

Yes, there are cheat codes. No, they do not disable your trophies. So far I've only found codes that unlock characters. There are codes for unlocking red hats (the equivalent of red bricks in previous LEGO titles) out there and I have found some of them, but they don't seem to work. If you're interested in the cheat codes, you can find them here.

The Curse of the Black Pearl
Complete the Film 1 story

This trophy is story-related and it cannot be missed.

Overview: Film 1, "The Curse of the Black Pearl", offers five chapters for you to complete. Once you complete all five of these chapters, this trophy will pop. I will provide some details about and a brief walkthrough for each chapter below. Note than in Story Mode you just want to focus on completing the level and not worry about collecting everything.

Chapter 1 - Port Royal
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (3 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 120,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Switch to Mr. Brown. Approach the big broken cog and hold when prompted to rebuild it. Move a little to the right and hold to fix the glowing-red machine. Move farther right and hold to raise the cog.
    2. Go back to the left, behind the sleeping mule, and grab a carrot out of the box. Get close to the mule's head and feed him the carrot when prompted. Hop on the mule's back with and ride it over to the crank below the cog on the left. When prompted, hold to turn the crank and trigger a quick cutscene.
    3. Now you'll fight Jack Sparrow. Switch to Will Turner, run up to Jack, and tap repeatedly until Jack loses a heart. When he breaks the pull-cart, rebuild it and climb the wall to get to the ceiling, then attack him again. Now just follow him around and keep attacking until you defeat him and trigger a cutscene.
    4. In the prison, run to the right until the cell door collapses. Pick up the bone and go back to the left to give it to the dog. Switch to the dog and run left. Go through the small orange-brown crawlspace to appear on a ledge. Push the glowing bench off the ledge and switch back to Will Turner.
    5. Pick up the bench and place it on the green pad in front of the cell holding Jack. Jump on the left side of the bench to open the cell.
    6. Switch to the dog and go right. Go into the cell with wiggling pieces and dig the spot to find a turn-crank. Pick it up with Jack or Will and run to the right. Place the turn-crank on the left winch and hold to begin raising the door. The other character will help you.
    7. Once outside, run to the bottom-right of the screen and press to hop on the barrel. Roll to the back-middle of the area, onto the gold floor-plate. Hold in forward to keep rolling until the door opens. Defeat the enemies and run through the door.
    8. Come down towards the screen, switch to Jack, and stand in the compass spot. Hold and follow the cyclone and blue footprints to a series of consecutive compass spots. Repeat this until a pile of wood appears in the sand. Use the dog to dig it up and use Will or Jack to assemble the pieces into a walkway.
    9. Go back to the entrance to this area and hop on the barrel there. Roll it to the right, across the walkway you made, and keep going right until you come to a gold floor plate. Roll onto it and keep rolling to open the exit. Take the exit.
    10. Run away from the screen, under the bridge, then to the right. Hop in a barrel and walk into the ocean. Head away from the screen and walk into the cage to ascend.
    11. Hop out of the cage and out of the barrel. Go to the lower area to claim a turn-crank piece, then go back to the upper part of the area to complete the winch. Turn the crank, hop on the platform, and climb the rope. Swing to the left and interact with the gray thing. Jump onto the zipline, turn the wheel, and escape!



Chapter 2 - Tortuga
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (2 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 150,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. As soon as you start, run to the back-left of the area and get one of the torches from the gate. Come back towards the screen and light the red/black cannon. Aim with and bust down the gate. Go through the exit.
    2. In the next area, find two brown wagon wheels and reattach them to the horse-drawn cart at the back-right. Find the green apple by the fountain in the middle of the area and feed it to the horse. Hop on the horse and pull the cart to the left, then take the newly-exposed exit on the right.
    3. In the next area, go into the pig-pen on the right and smash the tan/gray box. Reassemble the pieces into a bench and grab the turn-crank. Place it on the winch on the right and use it to raise the water pail.
    4. Jump up and grab the green-handled ladder to pull it down. Climb it and pick up the water pail on the right. Carry the pail over and set it on the green floor-pad on the left, then use Will or Jack on the gray spigot to fill the pail with water. Return to the right, set the pail of water on the green pad, and watch the cutscene.
    5. Switch to Mr. Gibbs and head to the front-left of the area. Repair the glowing-red cogs to open the exit. Take it.
    6. Use Mr. Gibbs to repair the mechanical furnace door opener and open the furnace. Grab a torch and come towards the screen. Through the gate and on the right, find and ignite the barrel of fireworks, then go down the stairs.
    7. Go to the back of the area and use Jack's compass to find a dig spot. Go left and pick up the shovel, then dig the spot to reveal a gun. Go back to the left and destroy the barrel to reveal a new crew member who takes the gun from you.
    8. Switch to Marty and go through the orange-brown crawlspace on the left. Shoot the silver object to open the door in the ceiling. Take out the enemies and shoot the silver cage, then climb the ladder to get to the next area.
    9. Use Mr. Gibbs to repair the glowing-red structure on the left, raising some chandeliers. Jump to the right-most chandelier, shimmy to the left, and jump to the next one. Continue until you get on the balcony, then take the exit on the right.
    10. Fight off the enemies harassing the lady and destroy the cabinet at the back of the room. Keep smashing it until you get the red jewel. Give the jewel to the lady so she joins your crew.
    11. Switch to Anamaria and double-jump (, ) to grab and close each of the blinds at the back of the area. Notice the multi-pastel-colored areas on the floor. Defeat the enemies and take the exit on the left.
    12. Once outside, use Anamaria to swing across the green bars on the left then follow the balcony around to the left and towards the screen. Push the brown crate off the ledge, then hop down and put the music box on the green pad a little farther back in the area. Go through the doors that open.
    13. Slide the brown crate to the left, across the checkered floor until the lady jump spot appears. Jump up and make your way around the balcony and defeat all the pirates, causing the parrot to return to his master.
    14. Return to the beginning of the level (follow the objective marker) and hop in the longboat to trigger a cutscene and complete the chapter.



Chapter 3 - The Black Pearl Attacks
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (3 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 87,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Right at the start, take out the enemies and use Mr. Gibbs to repair the glowing-red cannon. Hit to ready the cannon then aim at the sliver hatch on the other ship and hit to fire a cannonball to take it out. Back out of that cannon (hit ) and do the same thing for the adjacent cannon. Go down the hatch that opens.
    2. Go ahead and use the two cannons that are already available to take out two more of the silver hatches. Then, find the wooden pillar with a net and multi-colored foot-holds on it in the middle and climb up it. Climb across the ceiling on the left to knock some pieces down. Grab the turn-crank and head a little to the right and towards the back to find where that piece goes, then turn the crank to open the window. Grab a torch, ready and fire the cannon, then place the cannon on the green swing behind you.
    3. Find and destroy two crates that are sitting awkwardly on top of toolboxes full of blue and white pieces, then climb both spots on the ceiling (there is another one farther to the right and at the back of the area) to release more bits. Stack all the pieces and carry each set over to one of the green floor pads on either side of the machine that now has the cannon on it. Reassemble the pieces onto both pads.
    4. Notice the black parts on either side of the machine holding the cannon. Push one away from the cannon to begin to raise the cannon and one of your mates will assist you. Go to the left and climb the ladder that appeared.
    5. Go to the right, pick up the cannon, and place it on the nearby stand. Grab a torch, ready the cannon, blast the last grate, free Jack, and watch the cutscene.
    6. Go left and smash the tan/gray crate to find some blue and white pieces. Use them to complete the checkered floor and push the box down the hole. Drop down.
    7. Go right and put a barrel over your head. Drop down again and walk left. Step on one brown switch to lower the gate, then step on the green switch to the left to adjust a terminal. Switch to another character up top and push the machine on the right of the walkway into the terminal on the left so it locks.
    8. Without the barrel, drop down the hole and swim to the left, then through the gate that opened and claim your pirate booty.
    9. Back up top, walk across the brown plank and head left. Smack the monkey, then head farther left to the compass spot and hit to ascend to the crow's nest. Smack the monkey again, then attempt to follow him to the right. Jump off the plank and grab the chain, yanking down a crate.
    10. Drop to the bottom and carry the crate over to a green pad and set it down, then rebuild the pieces into part of a crank. Switch to Mr. Gibbs and repair the glowing-red barrel pad, then hop on the barrel on the right of the screen and roll it over to the pad. Roll it on the pad and keep rolling until the longboat comes up and dumps another crate onto the deck.
    11. Place the crate onto the other green pad and rebuild the pieces to complete the crank. Push on the green plate to turn the crank until a platform unfolds. Switch to the lady and jump up onto the platform, then onto the green bar, then onto the rope. Climb the rope straight up, walk out onto the plank, and smack the monkey again. Drop down and smack him one last time.
    12. If necessary, approach the right of the screen to force the cutscene to trigger.



Chapter 4 - Smuggler's Den
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (2 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 70,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Right at the start, use Jack's compass to find a banana. Grab a banana and take it to the monkey on the left. Climb the tree to get to him if you have to. Follow him around and press when prompted to trade him the banana for a shovel, then return to the right.
    2. Use Jack's compass to find the skull, which turns out to be an entrance to the den. Whack the lock to break it and drop in.
    3. Use Elizabeth to jump to one of the ropes and hang there while Jack grabs the other one, raising part of a bridge.
    4. Use Jack to find a barrel and roll it on the barrel pad near the rock with dynamite on it, raising another section of bridge.
    5. Go to the end of the partial bridge and double-jump across with Elizabeth. Go to the back right and smack each treasure chest in front of each of the skeletons, causing them to either drink rum or give you a turn-crank. Carry that turn-crank back towards the bridge and place it on the crank. Turn it to raise the last part of the bridge.
    6. Switch to Jack and use his sword to lower part of a bridge from the ceiling. Jump onto it with Elizabeth and climb out to escape.
    7. Trophy Note: - The Green Flash should pop when you get outside.
    8. Use Jack's compass and find the Spyglass. Use it. A Weather Eye on the Horizon should pop. Focus on Norrington in the blue shirt and keep the glass focused on him until you trigger a cutscene.
    9. Trophy Note: - After the cutscene, take just a second to jump in the water and get eaten by a shark, earning you Here There Be Monsters.
    10. Come to the front of the screen and smash everything you can find. Reassemble all the pieces into a catapult. When the door to the rum closet shatters, reassemble those pieces too. Place the firewood projectile onto the green pad of the catapult and turn the gold wheel to let 'er rip.
    11. Drop down the hatch on your island and watch the dynamite explode. Reassemble the pieces into a reflecting dish, then move left. Turn the crank on the left so the first dish reflects the light up and to the right, then turn the crank on the right until the second dish reflects the light directly to the left.
    12. Continue left and come towards the screen to find more pieces. Reassemble then and spin the dish until it points towards the back-left of the area, destroying a barrel and freeing more pieces. Move over to the pieces.
    13. Reassemble the pieces into a plank and walk up it to the left. Grab the firewood and do back down the plank. Place the firewood in the elevator to move it, exposing a gold dish. Pick up the dish and head to the right and place it on the green mount on the wall in the back.
    14. Come towards the screen and spin the rotating dish so that it now reflects light onto the dish you just mounted on the wall, then take the stairs at the back and exit the underground.
    15. There should be two bundles of firewood there that you can place on two of the green plates near the campfire. Do so and reassemble the pieces to make the fire bigger. Move to the left and find the firewood that you sent up the elevator. Carry it over to the fire and throw it on in a similar fashion to trigger a cutscene and end the level.



Chapter 5 - Isla de Muerta
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (3 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 50,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Right at the start, head left and use Jack on the crank to raise the bridge. Switch to Elizabeth, cross the walkway, go left across the bridge, grab the turn-crank part, and return to the right. Place the part to complete the crank and turn it to raise a bridge.
    2. As Elizabeth, hop down to the left and double-jump from the flower spot to reach a green bar. Flip your way across the series of bars, down to the small island, and jump up to grab one of the ropes.
    3. Switch to Jack, cross the newly-raised bridge, and hit at the zipline to get to the small island. Jump up and grab the other rope to open a new path.
    4. Go forward. While staying in the light, defeat all the enemies, then reassemble their pieces into a wheel and turn it to raise a bridge.
    5. Cross the bridge and grab the torch, switch to the other character and spin the wheel again, then switch back and cross the second bridge. Light the cannon and take out all three silver "+" grates to open the path.
    6. Move forward, stand in the compass spot, and use Jack's compass to find the brown box with a light in it. Use the shovel at the back to dig up the box pieces and reassemble them. Place the box on the green mount on the left.
    7. Smash the small treasure chest on the left to find a reflecting dish and mount that to the rotating stand nearest the screen, then spin the stand so the light shines back and to the left, onto the tip of the other stand. Go to the back, grab the second dish, and put it on the stand. Spin it so the light shines on the gold skull on the right, opening the path. Go forth and watch the cutscene.
    8. Barbossa can only be damaged when his hearts turn red. Keep fighting him until he retreats from the light, exposing him to weakness. Continue to attack until you take away one of his hearts. He'll call in reinforcements, so go back to the light on the middle platform and defeat them like you did before.
    9. Defeat all the enemies and reassemble their bones into a makeshift barrel. Hop on it and use it on the barrel pad on the left to raise part of a walkway.
    10. Fight Barbossa just like you did the first time until he loses a heart and retreats to higher ground. Go to the light on the right platform and take out his cronies and toss their pieces onto a net on the right. Throw Will's hatchet at the flower icon to expose a rock you can use as a step. Climb up and go left, then push the caskets into the skull's mouth, revealing another part of the walkway you started working on earlier.
    11. Fight Barbossa again using the same strategy until he's hurt again. Go to the light on the left platform, take out his baddies, and use their pieces to as holds on a wall you can scale. Climb the wall, then the ceiling to the right, and then push the caskets into the wall again.
    12. Your walkway is complete! Go up to Barbossa and start wailing on him. Soon he'll fall off the platform, into the darkness, and you can finish him off.
    13. But wait! He's not done yet. Chase him down the cavern and avoid the spike pits. When he pauses and you can't seem to hit him, grab one of the shiny coconuts and throw it at him, stunning him. The monkey will jump on you so switch characters and smack Barbossa. Repeat this until his hearts are gone again and the level and film 1 are complete!

Dead Man's Chest
Complete the Film 2 story

This trophy is story-related and it cannot be missed.

Overview: Film 2, "Dead Man's Chest", offers five chapters for you to complete. Once you complete all five of these chapters, this trophy will pop. I will provide some details about and a brief walkthrough for each chapter below. Note than in Story Mode you just want to focus on completing the level and not worry about collecting everything.

Chapter 1 - Pelegosto
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (0 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 70,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Move left and right to start swinging your cage. Eventually your rope will break and you'll start rolling. Race to the right and up until you come to rest on a blue pressure dish. When the exit opens, take it and drop down.
    2. Smash all the crates in this area then take the exit on the left to go back up. Climb the net at the back and head to the left.
    3. Pause on another pressure dish to open the exit and continue left. Climb the net on the wall, go to the right, and get in the water wheel. Hold to the left to spin the wheel and raise two ramps. Cross the ramps and continue to the right.
    4. Get in the big spinning wheel and ride it up. Get out, go right, and get in the small water wheel. Spin it until the bigger wheel to the left rotates enough that you can get inside it. Roll in and wait for your partner to spin you around, but keep pressed forward since you'll need to get into the big wheel in the background. In the 2nd wheel, hold backward so you can climb into the third big wheel.
    5. Exit the third wheel and go up to the left. Head right through the mini village and roll onto another pressure dish, exposing the exit.
    6. In the next area, just roll your way down for a while until you fall through a bridge and trigger a cutscene.
    7. In the next area, use Jack's compass to find a bone, then give it to the dog. Use Jack's compass again to find a crate, then switch to the dog and dig it up. Carry it to the back and put it on the green pad.
    8. Cross the stream and use the dog to dig up some wood. Reassemble the wood into a walkway, then come towards the screen and go right to find another crate. Carry it to the green pad on the left of the stream and reassemble all the pieces to complete climbable wall.
    9. Climb the wall and use Mr. Gibbs to repair the zipline mechanism.
    10. Jump onto the mechanism, then jump up and zipline across the stream. Drop down, then jump up and grab the green vine to release a boulder. Drop into the water and head to the back of the area. Hang out by the locks on the wall until natives throw spears at you. Dodge if you can, but either way they'll weaken the wall. When all three green lock-type things are destroyed, the wall will break and you'll make your escape to the Pearl.



Chapter 2 - A Touch of Destiny
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (4 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 50,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Right at the start, notice the two goofball pirates need stuff. Use Jack's compass to find the eye. Grab the shovel to dig up the chest and smack the chest to find the eye, then give it to Ragetti. Use Jack's compass to find the gun, smash the box it's in, and take it to Pintel.
    2. Grab the undead monkeys cage and put it on the green pad on the raft. Turn the wheel on the raft to sail down the channel.
    3. Large vines will ensnare the raft. Climb onto the walkway on the right and smash all the barrels to reveal dynamite. Pick up a nearby torch and light the dynamite, then get back on the raft and continue on.
    4. When the raft won't go any more, hop out and switch to Will. Throw his hatchet at each of the three targets in the river to reveal bouncy pads. Grab a torch and bounce across the pads to the other side. Smash the barrels there and light the dynamite, then use Mr. Gibbs to fix the mechanism.
    5. Ride the raft to the end and hop out. Go around the corner, bounce on the pad and get to the next level, then fix the broken wheel mechanism. Spin it three times total to get the monkey's cage off the raft, over to the dock, and down onto the green pad.
    6. Carry the cage down the walkway and set it on the green pad on the catapult. Use a character with a sword on the sword crank on the left, then switch to Will and throw a hatchet at the flower icon to launch the monkey across the river.
    7. Notice the vines relaxed their grip on a rope? Hop down and pull the rope to raise a bridge. Cross the bridge and the one after it to get to the monkey cage.
    8. Carry the monkey cage down a ways and set it on the next green pad. A huge alligator takes it downriver. Hop across the crates then use Jack on the zipline to reach a new platform. Push both heavy crates off the sides to raise two walkways across the river.
    9. Cross the walkway at the back and use Will to throw a hatchet at the flower icon, raising another bridge. Take it into a new area.
    10. In the new area, run to the right and somewhat towards the screen until you begin the alligator fight.
    11. The natives will toss food and bombs down to you. When the alligator begs for food, throw a bomb into his mouth to damage him. Hurt him three times to win the fight.
    12. Hop across the alligator pieces and retrieve the monkey cage. Go up the walkway on the right and put the cage on the green pad.
    13. Head to the right and use Jack and Will on the sword cranks. Grab the turn-crank piece and carry it back to the monkey cage. Put the piece on the crank and turn it to raise a bridge. Hop onto the monkey cage and roll it across the new bridge. Roll onto the roll pad and keep rolling until the bell rings. Go inside the hut.
    14. Jump up and pull the two ropes to open a door to the upstairs. Go upstairs and climb the wall in the back to get up and knock all the pieces off the ceiling. Reassemble them into a checkered path and smash the boxes on the right to get a crate-type thing. Push it down the path and use a character with a sword to open the hatch, then push the object down the hole.
    15. Drop down and reassemble the pieces into a chair and repair the tabletop. Hop into the new chair and use the magnifying glass. Look in the lower-left of the screen to find a ship, then watch it closely and follow it up and to the right until a cutscene plays.



Chapter 3 - The Dutchman's Secret
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (3 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 80,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Go up the stairs and to the right, away from the screen. Push the green pad to rotate the crank until pieces drop down. Return to the start and reassemble the crew member, then hand him is broom.
    2. Use Will's sword on the sword crank by the stairs and reassemble the green pieces. Stand in the new item and hit to transport to the upper-left. Smash the basket and reassemble the pieces into another crew member. Return to the start.
    3. Grab one of the lanterns on the deck and take it to the back-right of the area. Point the light at the purple plant so it hides, then use the green transport goo to get to the upper deck. Switch to Will, climb the mast, then walk to the right and toss a hatchet at the little icon to release more crew member pieces. Reassemble the third crew member to get to the next area.
    4. In the next area, find the hole in the middle of the floor and drop down. Go left and pick up the lantern. Use it to scare away the large purple tentacles, namely the one guarding the barrel. Hop on the barrel and use it on the barrel pad on the left to break a chain.
    5. Go to the right and use the green goo transport to go through the wall. Spin the wheel once and go back through the goo. Go up the ladder.
    6. Go to the left and use Will on the sword crank, then use Bootstrap to push on the green pad and open the door.
    7. Back outside now, follow Davy Jones into his quarters. Switch to Bootstrap and go through the green transport good. Use him on the sword crank, then switch to Will and push the wheel to the right. Spin it once, then switch back to Bootstrap.
    8. Make your way to the back and to the left, then come back towards the screen and use the second sword crank. Go back through the goo.
    9. Your goal now is to get to the middle of the room and put the clam-topped crate on the green pad. Use the wheels on the left and the right to raise a set of steps you can use to get to the top. There are many combinations that will work. You do not need four steps in a straight line. You can cross diagonally from one step to another with a little jump, even if you're holding the music box. Get to the green pad and set the music box on it to relax some of the enemy vines.
    10. If pirates attack, jump up and pull the chains to seal off their exits.
    11. Stand on the blue square and watch as your partner leaps to the other one. Then come back, go right, and stand on the purple square and your partner will follow suit. Now switch characters and jump onto the pink one, and marvel as your partner jumps great distances to follow suit again, unlocking the grid. Approach Davy Jones.



Chapter 4 - Isla Cruces
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (2 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 90,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Use Jack's Compass to find a banana and give it to Pintel. Use the compass to find all the chests except the one at six o'clock on the quick-select and dig them up. Find a shovel in the front right and back right of the first beach area.
    2. Digging chests will lead you to find pieces of a catapult. Reassemble the catapult. Use Elizabeth on the green bar on the tall tree on the right and use the coconut that falls as ammo.
    3. With the catapult pointed at the nearby beached ship, fire. Go in the new hole with Jack and walk the plank to the second beach. Use the compass to find the last chest and get eaten by the crab.
    4. Aim the catapult at the crab and hit it twice with coconuts to defeat it. Dig the spot under it and smash the chest to find what you were looking for and trigger a cutscene.
    5. Grab some studs until Jack finishes riding the pig, then smack him to hurt him, causing him to flee and drop some pieces. Reassemble them into a sprocket and carry it to the right. Set it on the green pad and use a sword on the sword crank to turn it.
    6. Snag the hammer from the toolbox that appears and use it to repair the mechanism on the stairs of the building, opening a door. Go through the door.
    7. Throw Will's hatchet at the flower icon to lower one ramp. Go up and use your sword on the sword crank to lower the second ramp and go up that too. When you're up it, it will raise up into a third ramp you can use.
    8. Jump and grab the green bar to pull a ladder down, then climb the ladder and hop over to the right and smack Jack again.
    9. Once you're on the outside ledge, grab the torch and climb the net, then go back left and light the fuse.
    10. Go back in the building and chuck Will's hatchet at the flower icon, then climb the ladder and go back outside.
    11. Keep following and smacking Jack until you get another cutscene.
    12. As soon as your on the rolling water wheel, just wait for Jack to come around and then smack him to free him. Hop onto one of the rotating platforms and get inside the wheel, then smack Jack. Repeat this 2x more until Jack is on top of the wheel too, then just keep smacking him until you get another cutscene.
    13. On the third beach, you have quite a fight on your hands. There are blue enemies and there are enemies with other colors and hats. Take out all five "other" enemies to finish the level. Be quick about it, as if you defeat one the other crew members will reassemble him.



Chapter 5 - The Kraken
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (4 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 25,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Go a little left and pick up the dynamite crate. Put it on one of the green pads.
    2. Go left and towards the screen. Smash a closet and reassemble the pieces into another dynamite crate, then add it to one of the green pads.
    3. Grab a torch and light the cannon on the left. Shoot off all four purple suckers on the Kraken's tentacle. Go all the way to the right, light that cannon, and shoot off all three purple suckers on another tentacle.
    4. Switch to Marty and shoot the silver chain to release a third dynamite crate. Add it to the last green pad.
    5. A new tentacle comes in on the left and dislodges some green and red bits. Reassemble them into a lever then use Mr. Gibbs to repair both mechanical levers. Push the green side of one of them and wait for one of your mates to help you by pushing the other lever, raising the dynamite.
    6. Go up the stairs and go left. Use Marty to shoot the flower spot, revealing a new dynamite crate. Carry it over and put it on one of the green pads.
    7. Spin the gold wheel in the middle twice then go through the small orange/brown crawlspace at the back (with Marty) and push a new dynamite crate all the way to the right and out the hole. Carry it over and add it to the green pad.
    8. Go up the stairs on the left...but wait! They collapse! Reassemble the green and red pieces into two levers and turn them just like you did earlier in this level, raising the dynamite up. Exit via the stairs on the right.
    9. On the main deck, push the green lever again until a piece breaks off of it.
    10. Switch to Jack and go the back-right of the screen. Use the zipline to get up, then climb the ladder, then climb the mast, then zipline over to the left and drop down. Walk out on the plank towards the bottom right of the screen and cut the rope.
    11. Switch to Gibbs and climb up the rope, then repair the broken mechanism.
    12. Resume turning the green levers. When you're force to look at the cannon, take the hint. Grab a torch, light the cannon, and fire it at the net full of dynamite.
    13. After the cutcene you fight the Kraken. When it spews junk, toss a piece back at it to hurt it, then hide behind one of the crates so you don't get sucked into it's mouth. Hurt it three times like this.
    14. Quickly get to the middle of the deck to avoid the smashing tentacles. When it lifts one, grab a torch and run up the other tentacle. Light the dynamite and jump down to damage it. Hurt both tentacles this way.
    15. Trophy Note: If you can stand it, you can just set the controller down and let the Kraken suck you in 10 times, earning you Hello, Beastie.
    16. Resume your first strategy, throwing bombs at the Kraken to defeat it.

At World's End
Complete the Film 3 story

This trophy is story-related and it cannot be missed.

Overview: Film 3, "At World's End", offers five chapters for you to complete. Once you complete all five of these chapters, this trophy will pop. I will provide some details about and a brief walkthrough for each chapter below. Note than in Story Mode you just want to focus on completing the level and not worry about collecting everything.

Chapter 1 - Singapore
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (0 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 55,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Right at the start, go up and to the left. Notice the fish market guy wants a fish. Hop down below and destroy the big crate to get a fish and give it to the guy. As Elizabeth, jump from the flower spot and grab the green bar. Go right and jump up to the zipline to go for a ride.
    2. Head back and to the left to find a sword crank by a bridge you can't use. As Elizabeth, go farther left and stand in front of the chains with green bars attached to them. Just wait and Barbossa will raise them for you so you can swing your way across. Do so. When you get across, cut the chain to unfurl the bridge to Barbossa can cross.
    3. Smash through the door at the back. Use the sword crank and your partner will help you. Go back down and take the new path that appeared.
    4. Go down the stairs and hop in the boat using . Row just a little to the right and jump out onto the dock.
    5. Solve the large blue/green marble puzzle at the back. Spin the gold wheel to toggle which locks are in place, either blue or green. Push on the blue/green lever to spin the puzzle clockwise or counterclockwise. Solve the puzzle to open the exit.
    6. In the sauna, push both populated hot tubs forward by pushing on the green levers. Then approach Sao Feng to trigger a cutscene.
    7. Back outside, find the gun to the right of the puzzle door and give it to the guy in the hat, Tai Huang. Use Tai's gun to shoot the flower icon in the back on the roof and give the carrot to the sumo wrestler on the left, Tattoo Pirate. Use Tattoo Pirate to pull out the stairs on the left and get your last crew member.
    8. Defeat all the baddies and take the exit on the right.
    9. Use Tattoo Pirate to unfold the bridge and cross the stream. Use Tai's gun to shoot the bullseye on the left and release the large crate. Use Tattoo Pirate to carry it back across the bridge and put it on the green pad. Reassemble all of the pieces into a pull-cart. Push the cart down the path and push it up against the wall. Keep pushing until it explodes and the exit opens.
    10. Cross the bridge to the right and use Tattoo Pirate to place the large firework on the green launchpad. Grab a torch on the right and light the firework.
    11. Run down the path on the left and continue around to the right, taking out enemies as you go. Switch to Tai and shoot the bullseye on the ship, lowering a walkway. Cross it to make your escape.



Chapter 2 - Davy Jones' Locker
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (5 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 45,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Use Jack's compass to find the purple flower and give it to the mule on the left.
    2. Use Jack's compass to find the blue water and boat, then use Jack's compass to find the rubber ducky and give it to Imaginary Jack (Spade). Use Imaginary Jack (Spade) to dig the bow of the ship out of the ground and watch the crabs put it in place.
    3. Use Imaginary Jack (Pistol) to shoot the bullseye on the ship, lowering a net you can climb. Climb up and walk down the plank to the right and push a new Jack off the ledge. Use Jack's compass to find the peanut. Smash it and give it to Imaginary Jack (Bomb).
    4. Use Imaginary Jack (Bomb) to destroy the silver objects in front and behind the ship component on the left, then reassemble all the pieces into wheels and a track. Jump on the mule and use it to pull the ship part into place.
    5. Walk up the ramp to the ship and push the green lever to raise anchor. Run to the front of the ship and jump up to grab the rope, triggering a cutscene.
    6. In the next area, drop down the hatch and to the right. Use Marty's big gun to take out the silver gate, freeing a crew member. Grab the turn-crank while you're here.
    7. Go left and shoot the bullseye to release the big crate. Carry the big crate towards the screen and to the left and put it on the green pad. Reassemble the pieces and add the crank piece to it. Turn it to free Tattoo Pirate.
    8. Go down the hatch to the left of this area and go right. Use Marty to go through the orange/brown crawlspace and push the brown barrel to the left down the track. Blow up the red barrels in your way and push the brown barrel until it locks into place. Use Barbossa on the sword crank to wake up Mr. Gibbs.
    9. Go up to the main deck of the ship and come all the way towards the screen. Bust down the hatch there to free another crew member.
    10. Shoot the main mast's silver chains with Marty to free Pintel and Rigatti.
    11. Go to the front of the ship and grab a torch, then ignite the barrel on the right to defeat the octopus and free another crew member.
    12. Climb the chain by the main mast as Barbossa, then use the zipline to reach another mast, then use the sword crank to lower the silver cage. Switch to Marty and shoot the cage.
    13. Shoot the cannon that Tia Dalma is struggling with, then get to the bow of the ship and shoot the wheel that Will Turners is sleeping on until he flies off.
    14. Jump back onto the chain and swing back and forth to collect a nice handful of blue studs and complete the level.





Chapter 3 - Norrington's Choice
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (4 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 90,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. As Norrington, go up the stairs and head left. Use the sword crank to expose a second chain and jump on it. One of your cronies will jump on the other, raising a crate and exposing a hatch. Drop down.
    2. Go to the left and drop down again. Grab a torch, go right, scare off the purple tentacles, and drop down again.
    3. Start pushing the object on the checkered floor down the path. When you can't go any more, spin the nearest gold wheel to open the path. Move the mechanism farther down the path. When it gets blocked again, spin the wheel at the back to free the way. Move it some more. Spin the wheel in the front again, then put the mechanism in it's place.
    4. As a red guy, go left and grab the sword on the column. Use it on one of the sword cranks. When your partner helps you, the exit opens. Take it.
    5. Pick up a torch on the right and ignite the barrel by the cell to free your compatriots.
    6. Fight your way up to the 2nd level and go left. Use Tattoo Pirate to rip the wall apart, then use torches to light each of the triple-guns.
    7. Once outside, use Elizabeth to jump up to the right and work your way down the side of the ship. Spin the gold wheel to raise the rowboat, then switch to Tai Huang and shoot the bullseye.
    8. Switch back to Elizabeth, jump up, grab a torch, scare away the purple tentacles, and continue around the ship. Jump up and slide down the zipline.
    9. Use Tattoo Pirate to pull the four handles on the escape vessel to trigger a cutscene.




Chapter 4 - The Brethren Court
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (1 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 20,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Go down the dock, through the water, and use the sword cranks on the left to find a crate. Smash it and reassemble the pieces into a statue to let one of the court members in.
    2. Run all the way to the right of the area and find another court member. Solve the nearby puzzle to get a brown piece. Spin the wheel to rotate the puzzle 90 degrees and pull the chain to reverse the direction the puzzle spins. Carry the brown piece to the right and use it to complete the mechanism there, then use the sword crank to help the court member get inside.
    3. Go back to the left and get in the silver cage elevator. Go to the right and use Jack's compass to find the turn-crank piece, then attack it to the crank on the right. Turn one while your partner turns the other, raising the boat and rescuing the court member.
    4. Jump down and go farther left. Wall-jump up the red/white checkered walls and pull the chain, then hop out. Go right and do the same for another set of walls. Go left to the dance floor and jump up to grab one of the chains.
    5. Pick one of the ladies and watch which squares she jumps on, in sequence. Repeat after her and your partner will repeat after the other one. Do three little dances and the court member will go to the meeting.
    6. Jump all the way down and go all the way left, through a door. Come out and go right up the walkway to find another court member by a cannon. Pick up the cog and put it on the pad on the left.
    7. Use Jack's compass to find a torch and ready the cannon. Shoot the two locks off the chest to help the court member.
    8. Drop down one level and come towards the screen, out on a thin walkway to grab a shiny item. Put it on the green pad in the back. Push the crate on the left into the wall and get a new piece, then add it to the green pad. Use Jack's compass to find the third piece and complete the green pad to help another court member.
    9. Take the nearest brown elevator up and make your way up and to the right, up a spiral staircase. Join the court members in their efforts on the globe thing by using one of the sword cranks while your partner uses the other. Go through the door that opens and watch the cutscene.
    10. In the next area, exit on the left and smash the treasure chests in front of all three skeletons to get a bone. Go back to the right area and give the bone to the dog. Switch to the dog and return to the left. Dig the spot and go down.
    11. As the dog, go through the crawlspace on the right and jump up and grab the chain on the ceiling to open the door to the cage. Pick up the pirate code book and carry it back to the meeting. Put it on the green pad on the table.





Chapter 5 - Maelstrom
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (2 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 40,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Go left up the stairs and smash the crate there to find one of the 9 pieces of 8. Put it in the bucket in front of Calypso.
    2. Go to the middle of the far side of the ship and look through the spyglass. Spot a court member and watch her until she fires another of the 9 pieces of 8 at you. Add it to the bucket.
    3. Go to the right and smash a chest to find an umbrella. Take it to Ragetti and trade him for his false eye. Add the eye to the bucket.
    4. Go to the right and up the stairs. As Will Turner, throw a hatchet at the flower spot to release a rope. Climb the rope and jump off. Walk out on the far side of the mast and grab the item. Jump down to the main deck but be careful to recollect the item. Add it to the bucket.
    5. Return to the mast but this time zipline down to the left. Grab the torch and light the fuse on the cannon. Jump down and add the hot dog to the bucket.
    6. Go to the right and pick up a torch. Jump in the rowboat on the near side of the ship and scare off the purple tentacle. Grab the croissant and climb the net on the left. Add it to the bucket to trigger a cutscene.
    7. Go to the right and up the stairs. Spin the wheel three times so the crate crashes on the deck. Reassemble the pieces into a cannon, grab a nearby torch, and ready the cannon. Fire it at the brown wood pieces on the far ship. Take out the chunk on the far right and exit the cannon.
    8. Go left and up the stairs and smash everything. Reassemble the pieces into another cannon and use it to take out the chunk on the far left of the enemy ship.
    9. Reassemble the pieces in the middle of the deck into a wheel and spin it to raise a boat that washes the crabs away. Use this third cannon to take out the middle chunk on the enemy ship and trigger a cutscene.
    10. In the next scene, just wail away at Bootstrap Bill until he's dead. Reassemble him, then take control of him and go through the green transport goo. Pick up the lantern and jump down to the main deck. Use the light to scare off the purple tentacle, then slide the treasure chest to the left.
    11. Switch to Jack and use the compass spot to ascend to the crow's nest. Jump off the left side of the nest to land on a thin walkway and battle Davy Jones. Smack him once so he flees.
    12. Follow Jones down and smack him again. Switch to Bootstrap and go through the goo. Jump over Davey's shockwaves and smack him again. Follow him around the ship, switch to Jack, and use the compass spot to ascend again. Drop down and smack Davy.
    13. Follow Jones to the middle of the ship and use the compass spot again to go up. Jump onto the mast and smack him. Go out on the walkway on the left and jump onto the rope. Climb the rope to the top, jump off, and smack Davy one last time.

On Stranger Tides
Complete the Film 4 story

Overview: Film 4, "On Stranger Tides", offers five chapters for you to complete. Once you complete all five of these chapters, this trophy will pop. I will provide some details about and a brief walkthrough for each chapter below. Note than in Story Mode you just want to focus on completing the level and not worry about collecting everything.

Chapter 1 - London Town
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (0 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 65,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Fight your way to the left and take out the guards at the end with the guns. Grab a gun and shoot the flower icon on one of the windows, then use Jack to zipline up. Go to the back of the ledge and jump up to grab the rope. Pull it to release a chandelier. Turn around and push the statue off the edge, then jump down.
    2. Push the statue to the left and use it to get onto the chandelier. Jump off towards the mural wall at the back-right of the room and land on the ledge. Jump to the rope on the right and land on the next platform. Take the exit.
    3. Go left and down the stairs. Run down the big hallway and destroy everything you can. Reassemble all the pieces into a cannon and take out the statue. Take out the three bullseyes in the distance for extra studs. Jump out the window.
    4. Once you're outside, go left and climb up the pipe. Shimmy to the right and up the net and jump up and grab the zipline to slide down.
    5. Walk across the beam and use Mr. Gibbs to repair the sword crank and use Jack's sword on it. Walk around the ledge to knock down the ladder for Jack to climb up.
    6. Jump out onto the first rope and then to the second. Wait there until your partner is on the first rope so the path ahead of your forms. Then make your way to the balcony on the right and cross the brown beam to get back left. Jump on the zipline to get to the street.
    7. Make your way from cart to cart, you really can't go wrong here. When you see two flower icon targets, pick up pieces of coal and throw it at them.
    8. In the next area, take out a few of the cronies and smack the impostor Jack. Bust down the door he puts in your way and smack him again. Go to the right and get on a barrel. Roll it over and onto a barrel pad at the back to free an elevator. Get in, go up, and go left to find Impostor Jack. Smack him again. Jump down and hop onto one of the red levers by the fireplace. When your partner is on the other, the fireplace periodically spits out hot embers. Impostor Jack should be rolling circles around you, so just give it a sec and you'll burn him. Smack him one last time.



Chapter 2 - Queen Anne's Revenge
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (3 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 65,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Go to the right and use the sword crank to drop items from the ceiling. Reassemble the pieces to complete the walkway and push the dynamite crate down the path until it can't go any farther.
    2. Use Jack's compass to find a crate full of bombs. Grab a bomb and go back to the right. Place it under the hammock with items on it and silver hinges. Switch to Serum and play the man a song so he joins your crew.
    3. Get another bomb and use it to drop the hammock nearest the bomb crate. Use Jack's compass to find an egg and bring it to the new crew member.
    4. Switch to Garheng and pull the heavy door of the cell in the middle. Take the fried egg to the guy in the cell.
    5. Use Salaman to repair the mechanism near the dynamite crate then grab a torch and light the dynamite. Reassemble the pieces into a ladder and climb out, but be ready for a fight.
    6. Go left and smash the gray barrel. Light it with a torch and go through the hole. Switch to Garheng and pull the heavy door off the cell. Go all the way to the right and hop on a barrel. Roll it into the newly-opened cell and roll it on the barrel pad so the window closes, revealing a skeleton. Grab a torch and light the fuse, then go up the stairs to get to the main deck.
    7. Go to the left of the ship and destroy the white fixtures in both corners. Reassemble the pieces to complete the sword crank pieces, then use the sword crank to open a water jet.
    8. Switch to the other character and ride the jet up. Grab the chain and climb up. Grab the gun and shoot the flower spot, then jump across the swinging platforms to the other mast. Smash the crate there to knock pieces down onto the deck. Drop down and reassemble them into a zipline. Switch to Jack and use the compass spot at the zipline to ascend to the top of the mast, then use the sword crank to expose another zipline. Slide down it.
    9. Drop down a little and use Jack's compass to find the red fireworks thing. Jump back up and grab a torch, then light the fireworks. Jump up again and grab the turn-crank piece, then attach it to the crank at the bottom and turn it until Will is at the bottom. Smack him a few times to free him from his bonds.



Chapter 3 - White Cap Bay
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (1 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 60,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Smash the rowboat to bits and reassemble the pieces into a crate. Push the crate off the edge. Use Jack's compass to find a crate, then a shovel. Use the shovel to dig the sand castle up and then smash it. Pick up the crate and carry it across the crate you pushed in the water. Switch to another character and use the sword crank to raise a bridge, then switch back to the character with the crate and cross over. Continue across the boards and set the crate on a green pad.
    2. Reassemble the pieces into a ladder. Go to the right and use Angelica to jump to the green bar, then double-jump to the left. Go left and use the crank to raise the ladder. Switch to Garheng and use him to pull the heavy door off its hinges.
    3. Go inside and go up the outside stairs of the tower. Grab the torch and use it to light the fuse, then go back down and repair the mechanism. Push the green lever so the pipe on the left carries the fuel. Go back up and light the same fuse again.
    4. Go back down and spin the brown wheel, then push the lever in the middle so the fuel goes up the second pipe. Go up and light the fuse on the new lamp.
    5. Go back down and push the lever so the fuel goes in the third, right-most pipe. Spin the brown wheel so the fuel can flow up. Go up and light that lamp too.
    6. Stand in the spot in front of the eyepiece and look through. Find the mermaid on the right and follow her until the cutscene plays.
    7. Exit the lighthouse and drop down. Find the mermaid on the left. Switch to Angelica and defeat the mermaid, then switch to Jack and go to the right. Zipline up. Go left and spin the wheel, bringing you the dynamite. Place it on the green pad and hop down. Use your compass to find another dynamite crate. Carry it over across the boards and put it on the green pad by the zipline on the left. Go back to the right and zipline up again.
    8. Spin the wheel twice to get the second crate up and put it on the other green pad. Reassemble the dynamite on the wall and light it to destroy the lighthouse.



Chapter 4 - A Spanish Legacy
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (3 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 68,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Go left and push the big crate all the way to the right down the checkered path. Go to the back left of the area and use the sword crank to get another crate. Push it to the far right down its path as well.
    2. Reassemble the pieces in the front left into a ladder and climb to the next level. Go to the back and climb the net. Climb the ceiling towards the screen to knock down tiles. Reassemble them into the checkered floor.
    3. Destroy the crates on the right and reassemble the pieces into the other checkered floor. Go to the back left and hop on the barrel. Roll to the right and onto the barrel pad. Roll there until the piano drops to the path, then push it all the way towards the screen.
    4. Return to the back left and smash the gold crate. Reassemble the pieces into a hard and push it all the way towards the screen.
    5. Smash the chest the comes out from under the bed and put it on the green pad by the bed. Look through the spyglass. Look to the lower left and center on the guy behind the horse. Follow him across the screen until the cutscene plays.
    6. Make your way across the walkways and debris in the river and go forward until the gate closes in front of you. Switch to Barbossa and toss a poison frog at the guard on top of the gate. Go through the gate.
    7. Destroy everything under the tents at the back. Put the plates and cups on the table and put the turkey on the rotisserie. Rotate the turkey using the crank until it's cooked and then set it on the green plate on the table. Smash the box next to the table and reassemble the pieces into chairs. Run to the right and jump up and grab one of the ropes while your partner mirrors you.
    8. Go left and onto the platform. Use the sword crank to rotate the cannon and switch to your partner. Grab a torch and ready the cannon. Destroy all four silver hinges and the brown board in the middle to take down the door.
    9. Smash everything on the right and left of the area and carry both boxes full of wood to the green pads and set them down. Use Jack's compass to find a third box and put it on the last green pad. Reassemble all the wood into a walkway and go across into the next area.
    10. Use Jack's compass to find the gold goblet and pick it up.
    11. Defeat the baddies and smack the Spaniard. He goes to a higher level and will throw a bomb at you. Quickly stand near one of the silver objects so his bomb destroys it. After one bomb he releases more guards and drops down. Smack him again and repeat this process for the other two silver pieces.
    12. Reassemble all the silver pieces and turn the crank to lower the tree. Put the two chairs on the tree. Don't worry about smacking the Spaniard to take away his last heart, you can't. Just hop onto the chairs and get out of there.



Chapter 5 - The Fountain of Youth
  • Compass Items: 8.
  • Minikits: 10 (0 can be earned in Story Mode).
  • True Pirate Stud Requirement: 65,000 studs.
  • Brief Walkthrough:
    1. Start hacking your way through the jungle. Use Jack's compass to find the spyglass. Switch to Angelica and double-jump to the green bar, then to a ledge. Take the shovel from the skeleton and drop down to dig up the spyglass. Smash the crate and reassemble the pieces into the spyglass, then carry it to the middle of the area and set it on the green pad.
    2. Look through the spyglass and watch the water go up the path. Go through the new exit.
    3. Make your way into the cave towards the screen and smack the big spiderweb on the right until all the pieces are on the ground. Reassemble the pieces into a heat lamp. Go farther into the cave and hop on a barrel. Roll it back to where you were and roll into the barrel pad to raise the heat lamp. Watch the quick cutscene.
    4. Come to the bottom-right of the screen and double-jump with Angelica from the flower pad to raise another heat lamp and melt another crystal. Move on down the cave.
    5. Use Jack's compass to find a black-topped crate. Switch to Angelica and dig the pieces. Reassemble the pieces and place the wheel on the mount on the left. Spin it to raise another heat lamp.
    6. Notice the bubbles in the middle. Get in them and float up to the ceiling and into the next area.
    7. Move down the bank on the right and watch the rocks collapse. Use Jack's compass to find the bombs and use one on the silver object. Reassemble the pieces into a ladder and climb up. Grab the mermaid statue and set it down below. Push the brown box on the right of the checkered path into the wall and push the other brown box into the water. Carry the statue across the path and place it on the green pad. Push it down to cover the geyser.
    8. Use Jack's compass to find the statue at six o'clock in the quick-select. Switch to Barbossa and toss a frog at the bullseye on top of the wall on the left, bringing down a skeleton and a shovel. Use the shovel to dig the statue and reassemble the pieces into a mermaid. Slide it down the path to cover the geyser.
    9. Cross the pillar that falls over and watch the cutscene.
    10. Try to avoid Blackbeard's magic and when he drops down, get in close enough to attack him. Keep trying to hit him until you stun him. Watch the short scene.
    11. Take the silver cup to the mermaid. Wait until Blackbeard drops down again and then attack. When you stun him, switch to the mermaid (Syrena) and make sure she has the silver cup. Approach Angelica and hit to get her to drink from the cup.
    12. Stay below and dodge Blackbeard's magic and the crates he throws. Eventually he'll throw a crate of bombs. Grab a bomb and hit him with it so he comes down to sword fight with you. Attack again, stun him, and use Syrena to revive Angelica a little more.
    13. Dodge Blackbeard's giant hands just like you have been doing and wait for another bomb to hit him with, then attack, stun, and heal Angelica again.
    14. Repeat the process once more to finish Blackbeard and end the story.

Take What You Can
Collect all Gold bricks (Single Player Only).

There are 85 Gold Bricks in total. You earn them by:
  • Completing any of the 20 chapters in Story Mode for the first time.
  • Earning "True Pirate" on any of the 20 chapters.
  • Collecting all the ships-in-bottles (minikits) in any of the 20 chapters.
  • Finding all hidden items using Jack's compass in any of the 20 chapters.
  • Collecting all 50 minikits in each of the 4 film sections.
  • Completing "The Ride", the secret level that unlocks after you've got the first 84 gold bricks.


Collect all 85 gold bricks as described above to pop this trophy.

Complete the game to 100% (Single Player Only).

Here are the things you need to do to complete the game to 100%:
  • Complete all 20 levels in Story Mode.
  • Collect all 10 minikits in each of the 20 levels, in Free Play mode.
  • Find all 8 compass items in each of the 20 levels, in Free Play mode.
  • Achieve True Pirate status in each of the 20 levels, in either Story or Free Play mode.
  • Find and purchase all 20 red hats.
  • Unlock and purchase all characters except the custom characters.
  • Complete "The Ride", the secret level that unlocks when you collect 84 of the 85 gold bricks.


Do all of these things and you'll pop this trophy.

Here There Be Monsters.
Get eaten by a creature in deadly water

There are multiple places to earn this during several chapters of the game. One example is during Smuggler's Den -- the fourth chapter of film 1. While you're destroying pieces in order to have materials to build the catapult, wander a little too far into the water and get eaten by the shark. This trophy will pop shortly after.

If you missed that opportunity, look for other chances. You can tell that you're in deadly water if the music changes as you toe the water.

Believing In Ghost Stories
Unlock all the cursed Black Pearl crew characters (Single Player Only).

You will need to look for these characters around the hub and purchase them after you unlock them in Story Mode. At the end of the 20 levels of Story Mode, you will have unlocked every character in the game. When searching for characters in the hub, keep in mind to search the main dock, the beach nearer the screen than the main dock, the area on the right of the main dock, the area on the left of the main dock, and the two taverns in the area to the left of the main dock.

Characters who pass you and are blacked-out may be purchased, otherwise you already own them. Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the to appear, giving you the choice to buy him/her/it or not. In that case, it seems that attacking the character in question helps this process, but it might just be a waiting game. Be careful not to kill that character though as they won't respawn in that spot. Be wary of using Blackbeard as he deals one-hit kills.

Here are the locations, descriptions, costs, and requirements for the Red Hats. There are 20 red hats in the game. Red Bricks are essentially cheat codes and they do not disable trophies.

Note: these are listed in the same order you see them in "extras".

Red Hat 1 - Disguises - All characters where funny glasses, a fake nose, and a moustache.
  • Requirements: 8 Gold Bricks; 25,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the right, through the gold gate. Grab a torch and climb the rocks around and to the right ton find a dynamite barrel on the edge of the cliff. Light the fuse and you'll find this red hat.


Red Hat 2 - Fast Dig - Characters dig up objects much faster.
  • Requirements: 24 Gold Bricks; 50,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the left, through the gold gate. Go all the way left to find gold pieces. Reassemble them into a barrel pad. Hop on a barrel at the back and roll it onto the pad until the bridge appears. Cross the bridge and go right to find this red hat.


Red Hat 3 - Fast Forge - Characters repair glowing-red objects much faster.
  • Requirements: A character with a hammer; 8 Gold Bricks; 75,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the right, through the gold gate. Go all the way to the right to the end of the pier. Repair the glowing-red mechanism there to find this red hat.


Red Hat 4 - Extra Toggle - Allows you to cycle through other extra characters in Free Play.
  • Requirements: A character with explosives; 12 Gold Bricks; 100,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the left, through the gold gate. Find the silver locked gate on second floor of the first building and destroy it to find this red hat.


Red Hat 5 - Fast Build - Characters assemble LEGO objects much faster.
  • Requirements: 32 Gold Bricks; 125,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the right, through the gold gate. Find the gold pieces near the tower and reassemble them into a crate. Smash the crate and reassemble the pieces into an elevator. Spin the wheel to fire up the crane and get in the elevator. Go into the hole in the tower to find this red hat.


Red Hat 6 - Character Treasure - Allows you to collect studs from defeated enemies.
  • Requirements: 16 Gold Bricks; 150,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go left through the gold gate. Go left and into the stone building with the targets on either side of the entrance. Use a character like Marty to destroy the three silver kegs at the bar to reveal this red hat.


Red Hat 7 - Fall Rescue - The wind saves you from falling to your death.
  • Requirements: 12 Gold Bricks; 175,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the left, through the gold gate. Shoot the three targets on the first building to reveal a red hat.


Red Hat 8 - Treasure Magnet - Allows you to collect studs from farther away.
  • Requirements: 16 Gold Bricks; 225,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, jump off and swim towards the screen. On the left side of the beach, build and then destroy the gold sand castle to reveal this red hat.


Red Hat 9 - Breathe Underwater - Allows all characters to stay underwater indefinitely.
  • Requirements: A character with explosives who walks underwater, like Jacoby; 250,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, switch to Jacoby (or someone with his skills) and jump into the water. Blow up all three silver locks and chains on the dock supports to get this red hat.


Red Hat 10 - Regenerate Hearts - Heals you over time.
  • Requirements: 24 Gold Bricks; 275,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, jump in the water and swim towards the screen to the beach. Find the gold pieces on the right and reassemble them into a sand castle, then destroy it to find this red hat.


Red Hat 11 - Red Hat Finder - Shows you where the red hats in the hub are.
  • Requirements: 8 Gold Bricks; 300,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the right, through the gold gate. Use Jack's compass to find the red hat. Chop all the plants that sprout to find this red hat.


Red Hat 12 - Minikit Bottle Finder - Shows you where to find ship-in-bottle minikits.
  • Requirements: 400,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, jump in the water and swim towards the screen to the beach. Find a big crab and chase him around until he stops. Hop on and ride him for a bit, then POOF the red hat appears.


Red Hat 13 - Extra Hearts - Gives you two extra hearts.
  • Requirements: 500,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, jump in the water and swim towards the screen to the beach. Use Jack's compass to find a shovel, then bombs, then blow up the silver objects in the water on the left. OR use a character who can walk underwater and has explosives, like Jacoby, to blow up the silver objects in the water on the left. Then get out of the water and spin the wheel on the left to raise the walkway. Use a lady character to double-jump up to the ledge and get your red hat.


Red Hat 14 - Always Double Treasure - Doubles the amount of studs you collect.
  • Requirements: 12 Gold Bricks; 600,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, walk left and build the gold pieces into a gate. Go through it. Walk to the back of the area and pick up a torch. Light one of the cannons and take out the three targets in the water to reveal this red hat.


Red Hat 15 - Invincibility - Your characters never take damage.
  • Requirements: Blackbeard; 24 Gold Bricks; 1,000,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the left, through the gold gate. Go all the way left to find gold pieces. Reassemble them into a barrel pad. Hop on a barrel at the back and roll it onto the pad until the bridge appears. Get a second barrel and roll it across the bridge, onto the other barrel pad. Keep rolling until the door to Tia Dalma's hut opens. Go inside and find the black/red chest at the back-left of the first floor. Use Blackbeard to open it and find this red hat.


Red Hat 16 - Treasure x2 - Doubles the value of every stud you collect.
  • Requirements: 500,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, jump off and swim to the beach in the foreground. Jump on all five stumps in quick succession to reveal this red hat.


Red Hat 17 - Treasure x4 - Multiplies the value of treasure you collect by 4.
  • Requirements: Blackbeard; Syrena or Phillip; 12 Gold Bricks; 1,000,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the left, through the gold gate. On the left side of the first building (it's a big building) hold as Blackbeard to get through the red/black gate. Go inside and break the aquarium with Syrena or Phillip to find this red hat.


Red Hat 18 - Treasure x6 - Multiplies the value of studs you collect by 6.
  • Requirements: 12 Gold Bricks; 1,500,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the left, through the gold gate. Find the well on the left and repeatedly smack the three silver objects around it. Keep doing so until you find this red hat.


Red Hat 19 - Treasure x8 - Multiplies the value of studs you collect by 8.
  • Requirements: 24 Gold Bricks; 2,000,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the left, through the gold gate. Go all the way left to find gold pieces. Reassemble them into a barrel pad. Hop on a barrel at the back and roll it onto the pad until the bridge appears. Get a second barrel and roll it across the bridge, onto the other barrel pad. Keep rolling until the door to Tia Dalma's hut opens. Go inside and smash the cage at the front to find this red hat.


Red Hat 20 - Treasure x10 - Multiplies the value of treasure you collect by 10.
  • Requirements: 32 Gold Bricks; 2,500,000 Studs
  • What to do: From the main level-select dock, go to the right, through the gold gate. Find the gold pieces near the tower and reassemble them into a crate. Smash the crate and reassemble the pieces into an elevator. Spin the wheel to fire up the crane and get in the elevator. Make your way to the very top of the tower and look through the spyglass. Spot the guy on the island, watch him for a while, and you'll find this red hat.

The Best Pirate I've Ever Seen.
Complete Port Royal in Story without dying

This trophy is very easy to pop. You might even get this on your first time through Port Royal. If you get low on hearts, be extra careful to defeat enemies before they hurt you so that you can gain hearts by battling them.

DAVEYHASSELHOFF confirms that you cannot use the Invincibility red hat for this trophy.

However, you can use Extra Hearts, Regenerate Hearts, and Fall Rescue.

The Worst Pirate I've Ever Seen.
Complete Port Royal in Story with zero studs.

This trophy is actually pretty annoying to pop. Do your best to collect as few studs as possible. What you want to do is play through 99% of the level, right up until the point where you zipline down to the ship as Jack. DO NOT TURN THE WHEEL YET as that ends the level. Right at the end, on the series of multi-tiered docks and on the zipline down to the wheel that ends the level, you really need to collect every stud that is nearby. Why? Because you don't want them in your path when you're about to exit the level. Grab all the studs on the path to the zipline and on the zipline, but don't spin the wheel.

Hit to switch to the dog, jump in the water, and dive by holding . Keep holding until you drown. Do this repeatedly, many, many times, until you're completely out of studs...until your stud total says "0". Then switch to Jack, climb up, zipline across, and if you get to the wheel and your stud total is still ZERO, spin it to end the level and pop this trophy. If you found more studs while trying to make your escape, repeat the drowning process and try again until you are at the wheel with ZERO studs. Ding!

"Brethren Court" is the fourth chapter of the third film. Simply complete this chapter to pop this trophy. If you're having trouble, see At World's End for a walkthrough.

A Pirate's Life For Me.
Test any custom character.

Testing a custom character simply means switching your character, either while at the hub or during Free Play, to a character named "Custom A" or "Custom B", etc. Hold and pick one of the characters named "Custom" something on the bottom row towards the right. Shortly after your character changes into a custom character, this trophy will pop.

You can go into Tia Dalma's hut (all the way to the left of the hub) and go up stairs to customize your custom characters if you like.

You Filthy, Slimy, Mangy Cur!
Complete all the Guard Dog levels

This trophy is story-related and it cannot be missed.

A "Guard Dog" level is simply a level in which the dog is one of the characters you can control (during Story Mode). If you're playing through the story in order, you'll pop this trophy when you complete chapter 4 of film 3.

Try Wearing a Corset.
Do 5 lady backflips in a row

To do a backflip, switch to a lady character and attempt to jump backwards. Tap away from the back of the character and at the same time to do a backflip. At some point, while you're navigating the hub area, switch to a lady character and to five consecutive backflips to pop this trophy.

What Do You Want Most?
In any level use only the compass to find all it's secrets in one go, alone

The guidelines for earning this trophy are a little unclear, but to be safe, use these:
  • Use only Jack's compass to locate the items; be careful not to find one on your own.
  • When finding an item, keep using the compass all the way to the red "X" appears on the ground and the item appears.
  • Make sure to collect all eight items, even if you've found them in previous runthroughs of a level, all during the same runthrough of the level.
  • You don't have to use the items you find. When the tally at the bottom right (2/8, for example) changes, you've gotten credit for finding an item.


Keep in mind that some compass items are hidden in areas you can only access during Free Play mode.

You can earn this trophy by finding all eight compass items in the hub. It saves you the trouble of accidentally finding them during a level.

Hoist The Colours!
Sail all the minikits in the hub.

Every level in the game has 10 minikits, for a total of 200 you need to find for this trophy. BE CAREFUL that when you're ready to leave a level, you pause and choose "Save and Exit", otherwise your progress will be lost.

Once you collect all ten minikits for a level, you can "sail" them in the hub. Exit to Port, be sure to "save and exit", and go to the docks on the far right side of the hub. Find the symbol on the piers that corresponds to the level you've got 10/10 minikits on and shoot/smash the bottle to put a ship in the water. Hop in and take it for a ride!

The game only lets you have five ships in the water at one time, but that's okay. Just take them all for a real quick ride and this trophy will pop.

While collecting these, you'd be wise to finish getting all of your compass items in each level too. I have not listed them as it is very easy to find them all so long as you remember to check Jack's compass frequently.

I'm listing the locations of all of the 200 ships-in-bottle minikits below, by chapter.

Parley!
Unlock all characters (Single Player Only).

To see the full character list, hold in the hub or during Free Play. On the bottom row, spot the icons for Custom A through Custom J. Those spots will remain blacked-out, but you will need to unlock and purchase every other character in the chart to pop this trophy.

A nice handful of characters will be given to you during Story Mode and you will not have to purchase them.

The majority of the characters in the game will be unlocked as you progress through Story Mode, but you will need to look for these characters around the hub and purchase them after you unlock them in Story Mode. At the end of the 20 levels of Story Mode, you will have unlocked every character in the game. When searching for characters in the hub, keep in mind to search the main dock, the beach nearer the screen than the main dock, the area on the right of the main dock, the area on the left of the main dock, and the two taverns in the area to the left of the main dock.

Characters who pass you and are blacked-out may be purchased, otherwise you already own them. Sometimes it takes a few seconds for the to appear, giving you the choice to buy him/her/it or not. In that case, it seems that attacking the character in question helps this process, but it might just be a waiting game. Be careful not to kill that character though as they won't respawn in that spot. Be wary of using Blackbeard as he deals one-hit kills.

And Really Bad Eggs.
Play as all the Extra Toggle characters

"Extra Toggle" is one of the red hats you can purchase. The effect isn't that obvious and you can toggle to other characters during Free Play anyway. However, this red had allows you to play as characters other than those in the character-select list. Only a small few of them actually give you some advantage, and none are more useful than the characters that are in the character-select list, but you can still play as them if you want.

On each level, make sure the Extra Toggle Red Hat is On, and just hold until you cycle through everybody You don't have to use the characters for anything, they just need to make an appearance. If you go through the levels in order, this trophy pops during chapter 4, film 4 unless you missed somebody. If you only need this trophy, load up a level, cycle through until you're sure you've seen everyone, then save and exit.

Unlock all the Jack Sparrow characters (Single Player Only)

You will need to look for these characters around the hub and purchase them after you unlock them in Story Mode. Wind In Your Sails.
Hit a flying parrot on Smuggler's Den

Smuggler's Den is the fourth chapter of the first film. On the main island, a parrot flies around perpetually. Find a coconut (use Jack's compass if you can't find one on your own) and pick it up. Hold , move the reticle over to the parrot, and let 'er fly. It may take a few tries, but when you connect with the parrot and it falls to the ground, this trophy will pop as your reward.

Pieces of Eight
Reach 888,888,888 studs

You actually do need to have 888,888,888 at one point in the game to pop this trophy -- it is not cumulative. This is actually a piece of case as once you start unlocking treasure multipliers, collecting more and more treasure becomes more and more efficient.

At max, if you have every treasure multiplier and "double treasure", you'll have a multiplier of 7,680. Just plan on buying new treasure multipliers as you become able to access and afford them and you'll earn this trophy without even thinking about it. As in, before the end of Story Mode, you should be able to buy the x2 treasure multiplier and the "double treasure" multiplier, if not more. Also, feel free to take some time and destroy everything you can find in the hub to rack up nice piles of treasure. At the very least, you'll reach 888,888,888 while you're replaying all levels in Free Play to collect the minikits and find all the compass items.

Did Everybody See That?
High dive into the Maelstrom.

Notice that chapter 5 of film 3 is titled "Maelstrom". During your fight with Davy Jones, you'll get to a point where he only has one heart left. At this point you can get to the highest point you've yet reached on the ship. When you're there, wait before finishing him. Head away from the screen and grab the purple stud. Then, dive off the edge into the ocean to pop this trophy. You can earn this trophy even if you're using the Fall Rescue red hat.

There's The Jack I Know.
Get True Pirate in all levels (Single Player Only)

You earn "True Pirate" status in a level by collecting a certain quantity of studs, or treasure. Typically the amount you need ranges between 50,000-80,000 studs, but there are a few exceptions. If you want to earn these distinctions in Story Mode, you will need to earn almost every stud in the level (aside from those in areas you can't reach until Free Play), and even then it might be close. Save yourself the hassle. Since you will indefinitely be replaying every level in Free Play anyway, and since you'll have at least one treasure multiplier unlocked by the time you move on to Free Play mode, don't bother going for True Pirate on levels during Story Mode. Depending on how many multipliers you have turned on, you can earn True Pirate status on a level in Free Play without even moving from the starting position.

I have written out walkthroughs for every level of the game in the four film-story related trophies above. In each section I have listed the number of studs you need to collect for True Pirate status, so please reference those trophies.

Finally, to check your progress towards achieving "True Pirate" on a level, pause the game during that level and look at the top of your screen. The gold stud bar will be filled out a certain amount. This amount shows you what percent of True Pirate status you have achieved on that level.

Aye-Aye, Captain.
Play a level in co-op.

This trophy is a piece of cake. Get to the hub. Fire up a second controller and press to add it to the game. Pick a level you like...Port Royal is a good, easy, quick choice. Simply complete the level with both controllers in the game to pop this trophy.

Sea Turtles Mate.
Ride on all types of animal in the game.

To pop this trophy, find and ride on each of these creatures:
  • Crab - beach of the hub, more
  • Horse - story-related
  • Goat - story-related
  • Mule - story-related
  • Pig - Tortuga, more
  • Sea Turtle - Smuggler's Den Free Play - break the big ice cubes on the hidden island in the back left
  • Snail - The Dutchman's Secret Free Play - while you're getting minikit below deck
  • Spider - Fountain of Youth - in the cave, all the way to the right


Ride on this crazy assortment of creatures and pop this trophy.

Gents, Take a Walk.
Walk on the sea bed with all possible characters

When the water is more than a few feet deep, characters will either sink or float. You need to walk on the sea floor in water deeper than your head with all characters who sink. They are:

  • Clanker
  • Clubba
  • Crash
  • Davy Jones
  • Grapple
  • Gunner
  • Hadras
  • Jacoby

You can just jump off the main dock in the hub and switch to the first character in the list, sink to the bottom, walk around just a bit, and switch to the rest of the characters in the list one by one to pop this trophy. Note that you must do this all in one sitting, without turning off your system or quitting the game.

I Am a Bad Man.
Play a level with all Extras turned on (Single Player Only)

Extras are simply the red hats. Turn all of them on and load up any level. Shortly after the level starts, this trophy will pop. See You May Throw My Hat for more details about how/where to find the red hats.

Fight to the Bitter End.
Defeat 100 enemies.

This trophy will pop during natural gaming.

The number of enemies you defeat is a cumulative total no matter what mode you play and no matter if you repeat a level in Story Mode. There is a 99% chance you'll pop this trophy before you finish your Story Mode playthrough. There is a 99.99999% chance that you'll pop this trophy by the end of your Free Play playthrough.

If you are the one-in-a-billion who managed to save this trophy for last, just replay any level you like and take out all the baddies you can. This trophy will pop for you in no time.

Five Lashes be Owed.
As Jimmy Legs, whip Will Turner 5 times.

You unlock Will Turner after you complete Port Royal, the first level of the game. You do not need to buy him in the hub.
You unlock Jimmy Legs after you complete "The Dutchman's Secret", chapter 3 of film 2. You need to find him in the hub and buy him for 15,000, unless you'd prefer to use the cheat code.

The easiest way to get these two guys together is to get to the hub. As any character, hold to bring up the quick-select, which in this game allows you to choose from the entire list of characters, not just a small subset. Using this method, make one character Will Turner and the other character Jimmy Legs. As Jimmy, whip Will 5x to pop this trophy.

Fire!
Fire 100 cannonballs.

This trophy will pop while you're working your way through Story Mode and Free Play Mode. If by some chance you need only this trophy for platinum, you can replay your favorite level or you can just use the cannons in the hub. From the main level-select dock, go through the left gate and head away from the screen to find a couple of cannons. Shoot them as much as you want until this trophy pops.

You're Off the Edge of the map.
Highlight the secret 6th point on all 4 level select maps (Single Player Only).

Each of the four films has their own map on the main dock in the hub. You use these maps to select the levels you want to play. After you complete the fourth level for a map in Story Mode, a skull and crossbones appears on the map. After you've completed all four films in Story Mode, go up to each of the four maps and move the cursor over the skull and crossbones -- these are the secret points. In one sitting, without turning off the ps3 or quitting, move the cursor over the skull and crossbones for each of the four maps to pop this trophy.

Hello, Beastie.
Get eaten by the Kraken 10 times.

You fight the Kraken during the fifth chapter of film 2. During the fight, the Kraken will alternate between spewing items and sucking in items. Let it suck you in and eat you 10 times to pop this trophy.
