[top]Tips & Strategies

  • All trophies are listed in XMB order. This will make it easier to navigate through the guide.
  • If you are looking for Boosting Partners or Online Players, be sure to check out The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Boosting Thread.
  • If you are looking for boosting Plays for Plays, be sure to check out The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Play for Play Thread.
  • All of the trophies in this game are also tied to in-game Pins, which makes it very easy to track your progress. When you first access your pod computer, click on Me, then click on Pins at the bottom of the page. You can scroll through several pages (Play - Story, Play - General, Create and Share) of pins to find the ones that relate to trophies and see your progress.
  • Many of the online trophies will not unlock right away, even if you've done what is required to earn them, so don't panic. This is because the statistics are stored on the LittleBigPlanet servers, so your game won't register them until the server updates and sends back the information. Typically, this won't take more than a couple of minutes.

[top]Roadmap

There are two distinct ways to tackle this game - one for those of you who are creatively minded and like to make and publish your own levels, and another for those who just want to play the game and don't have the slightest interest in being creative.

Roadmap for the Creatively-Inclined
  • Story Mode - Play through the entire story, getting all prize bubbles and acing every level (including 10 in a row for Aces in Spades). This will get you all story-related trophies, along with a bunch of items to use in your creations.
  • Create Mode - Go through all of the tutorials and then get creating. If you're serious about making good levels, you should have no problem spending 24 hours in Create Mode, and you can get all of the other creation-related trophies along the way, as long as you have made at least one decent level.
  • Community Action - In this step you'll just be playing and rating a bunch of community levels to get all of the trophies related to this part of the game. Be sure to use the Dive In function from time to time, look for new levels to rate, and get your versus wins along the way.
  • Clean Up - If you have any miscellaneous trophies left to knock out, finish them now.

Roadmap for the Not-So-Creatively-Inclined
  • Get started - Play the story long enough to get access to the other game features. If you don't have or choose not to import a LittleBigPlanet profile, you'll have to defeat the boss of Da Vinci's Hideout before you will have access to the Community and Create Mode. If you do import a profile from LBP, you just need to get through the introduction levels.
  • Create and publish a level - Follow the instructions in Community Spirit to get your first level published and then sign up in The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Play for Play Thread to start earning plays. Be sure to check back every day for new people who need plays on their levels and will play your level in return.
  • Start the grind to 1440 - Get in the habit of having LittleBigPlanet 2 running in the background while you're watching TV or doing anything else that would allow you to be pushing buttons on your controller at the same time. If you have a turbo controller, this can be overnight or while you're away from home. See 1440 Minutes of Create for more information.
  • Story - Play through the entire story, getting all prize bubbles and acing all levels (including 10 in a row for Aces in Spades).
  • Community - If you've been playing levels from the Play for Play thread every day, you should have a good amount of plays, time and Yays/Boos built up by now, so use this step to finish those and anything else you need to do to earn the community trophies, such as diving in and rating new levels.
  • Clean Up- Finish up any miscellaneous trophies you have left and finish off your 24 hours in create mode if you haven't already. Just an idea: if all you have left is time in Create Mode, try actually creating something - you might even like it!

[top]
Ace Story Mode
Ace every level in story mode

To ace a level, you need to make it from beginning to end without dying. You'll know when you've aced a level because the scoreboard will say "No Lives Lost" and you'll see the spade symbol. For most levels, you'll want to do this after you've already been through it a few times and gathered all of the prize bubbles, so that you can ignore them completely while trying to get the ace. Just play slow and smart and you should have no trouble acing most of the levels in the game, although there are a few that will be tough.

To earn this trophy, you'll need to ace all of the 30 main story levels in the game. See the story mode trophies above for the full list of levels. You do not need to ace mini-games, score challenges, etc, to earn this trophy.

[top]
Aces in Spades
Ace 10 different story levels in a row

This one can be tricky. To earn this trophy, you need to ace 10 of the 30 Main Story Levels in a row. Which levels you play and the order in which you play them are immaterial, but you do have to do 10 different levels in a row without dying. If you die in any level or hit and choose Quit or Replay at any point, your count will reset. You can play levels you previously aced, but you cannot play the same level more than once during the streak.

Again, you can check your progress toward this trophy by looking at the associated pin on the Play - Story page.

Note: The first 10 story levels are not necessarily the easiest, so wait until you are done with story mode and pick 10 levels that you are comfortable with before trying for this trophy. Start with the harder levels first to minimize repeat plays of the easier levels.

I got this trophy playing the following levels which I was comfortable with:
  • 1) Rookie Test - Da Vinci's Hideout
It's almost impossible to die on this level, just be sure to use the Sticker at the beginning of the level.
  • 2) Grab and Swing - Da Vinci's Hideout
It's almost impossible to die on Part 1 of this level and Part 2 isn't too hard either if you don't do anything stupid by the electric floors.
  • 3) Gripple Grapple - Da Vinci's Hideout
This level is a bit more difficult than the previous 2 levels are there is much more electricity in this level. However, if you go through it slowly, it shouldn't be a problem at all as well.
  • 4) Bravery Test - Da Vinci's Hideout
This level shouldn't be too difficult as well. The only tricky part is after you got shot away with the cannon and have to go zig-zag through the platform with electric floors, luckily this part isn't very long, so this should go relative easily.
  • 5) Final Test - Da Vinci's Hideout
The Boss Level of the Da Vinci's Hideout World. This is a really easy boss and if you take your time for this level and don't try to rush, you should be able to ace this level without too many problems.
  • 6) Runaway Train - Victoria's Laboratory
This is a really short and easy level and the only thing you can mess up in this level are the few jumps from platform to platform.
  • 7) Kling Klong - Victoria's Laboratory
The Boss Level of the Victoria's Laboratory World. Another easy boss to ace if you know his moves. There are 3 parts in this level and the boss will change his attack every part. In the first part of this level he will shoot electric waves through the floor. You can easy avoid these by jumping over them. In the second part of this level he will shoot bouncing electric balls at you. If there is nothing from with your insight you should be able to easily avoid the balls. The last part is probably the trickiest part of them all. The Boss will shoot 3 horizontally beams of electric through the room, 1 at the top, 1 at the middle and 1 at the bottom of the room. Be sure to grab you cake and get up on the platform in the air as he can't hit you there. If he is already shooting the top electric beam just wait untill he goes down to the middle and while he is moving to the middle jump on the Bounce Pad to the platform.
  • 8) - Fowl Play - The Factory of A Better Tomorrow
The Boss Level of the The Factory of A Better Tomorrow World. This level is really easy to ace, as you need to ace it in order to pass the level. The only thing you need to do is run away for the giant chicken. Don't slow down by going through the higher platforms as this will loose you time and you will have more chance to get crushed.
  • 9) Avalon's Advanced Armaments Academy - Avalonia
The level were you ride through the level using the animal machines. If you take it slow and go back to a checkpoint every time you got damaged (so you will get full health back), this should be an easy level to ace.
  • 10) Up And At 'Em - Eve's Asylum
This is a really short level and there are only a few tricky parts where you can get damaged but overall this is a really easy level to ace.
  • Extra) Pipe Dreams - The Factory of A Better Tomorrow
This is another really really easy level to ace, don't care for the Sackbots and just run straight to the end of the level.

For those of you who are so inclined, there are two tricks you can use to make this easier:

Method 1 (recommended):
1. After you ace your first level, hit and go to Settings > Profile > Back Up Profile.
2a. If you die in a level, go to Settings > Profile > Import Profile and reload your save. This will overwrite the fact that you just died.
2b. Every time you successfully ace another level without dying, repeat step 1. Make sure you check your pin first to ensure that the game did register another ace!
3. Rinse and repeat until you get to 10 aces in a row.

Method 2:
Any time you die in a level, quickly pause the game, hit and quit via the XMB so that the game will not register the death. When you restart the game, your ace streak should be intact and you can pick up where you left off.

Prize Collector
Collect 50% of all Story prize bubbles

Prize Bubbles are the larger of the two types of bubbles scattered around the LittleBigPlanet world, and contain stickers you'll need to access new areas in certain levels or items you can use as you create your own levels. Simply find half of all of the prize bubbles in the game's story mode to earn this trophy. You should easily get this before finishing the story for the first time, even if you're not really trying all that hard.

Scroll down to the end of this guide or click the links below to see written and video walkthroughs for all of the prize bubble locations by level.

Prize Bubble Location walkthroughs by area:

Note1 : There are prize bubbles that you have to find in main story levels, and bubbles in many of the side levels and score/survival challenges, which are earned by finishing the level with a certain score. All of them count toward this trophy.

Note 2: There are several areas that require more than one player to retrieve the prize bubbles. Most of them can be done by one person using multiple controllers, but you may not have multiple controllers or you may find yourself needing help for some of the trickier spots. If that is the case, head over to The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Boosting Thread to find partners to help you retrieve them. Here is a list of all of the areas that require more than one player:

Toggle Spoiler

[top]
10 Story Versus Wins
Win 10 story mode versus games against at least one other player

To earn this trophy, you'll need to win 10 story mode versus games against at least one other player. You can do this with two PS3 controllers by playing the first versus game "Block Drop" in the Da Vinci's Hideout 10 times, winning with player 1 each time. Each game only takes 1:00, so you will get this trophy pretty fast.

If you don't have two controllers, use The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Boosting Thread to find partners to play with.

[top]
Multiplier 5x
Score a 5x multiplier in a story level

You need to score a 5x multiplier in any story level, so all of those million-bubble levels out in the community can't help you this time. This can be done pretty easily picking up multiple Score Bubbles or Prize Bubbles in a row - each time you get 5 bubbles in a short period of time, your multiplier goes up by one, so you'll need to get 25 bubbles very quickly to get this trophy.

A good level to get this trophy on is "Tower of Whoop" from Da Vinci's Hideout.

[top]
Multiplier 10x
Score a 10x multiplier in a story level

This one is exactly the same as Multiplier 5x above, but you'll need to get 50 bubbles in a row instead of 25.

You can also get this one pretty easily in "Tower of Whoop."

[top]
Scoreboard 50%
Place in the top 50% of players in the online scoreboard

Although the trophy description doesn't say it, you have to place in the top 50% on the online scoreboard for a Story Level to earn this trophy. This isn't really all that hard, but the easiest place to get it is right at the beginning of the game. If you play "Rookie Test" in Da Vinci's hideout, try to get all of the multipliers when Da Vinci is teaching you about them and get all of the prize bubbles in one playthrough (it doesn't matter if they're empty - you'll still get the points), you should be able to get this and Scoreboard 25% pretty easily.

[top]
Scoreboard 25%
Place in the top 25% of players in the online scoreboard

See Scoreboard 50% above.

[top]
Monster Masher
Kill 20 monsters in Story levels

As easy as it sounds - you just need to accumulate 20 monster kills in Story Levels by popping their "brains" - the little bubbles attached to them at various points. You should get this trophy during the second level or third level in Victoria's Lab, or even in the first level if you replay it a few times.

[top]
Mortal Coil Shuffler Extraordinaire
Accumulate 20 deaths in one Story Level

To unlock this trophy, you simply need to die 20 times in one Story Level - an easy way to earn a trophy for the people that aren't so good in LittleBigPlanet 2. Find a place where you can easily die and which is near an infinite checkpoint (nearly all of them in the first few levels are infinite).

Note: If you are playing cooperatively, this does have to be 20 deaths by one player, not a combination of everyone's deaths.

[top]
Dive in 25
Dive in to and play 25 random levels with other players, and don't immediately leave

Any time you are in the Community section, you'll see an option at the top called "Dive In." When you choose this option, the game will search for random games and players to match you up with and then throw you into a level.

To earn this trophy, you need to choose this option and be placed into a level, then stay there for around 10 seconds before leaving. You don't have to stay until the end of the level, although you might as well, unless you've already earned U Know U A Playa.

This should be a simple enough trophy - unfortunately, it's proving to be pretty frustrating for most people because of issues with the game's servers and the way this function works. Frequently, you'll end up getting stuck in an infinite loading screen, having a request to join time out, having someone refuse to let you join their game, or getting randomly dropped into someone's pod instead of a level.

The best strategy for this seems to be to narrow your search down to lists with very few players in them, because then the game will give up after 30 seconds and just put you into a level by yourself, which eliminates the issues with joining a game but still gives you credit for a play. Under Community, go to "More" at the bottom, then "Lucky Dip" at the far right of the screen. This list is almost always empty. Click on Dive In on this page, and you'll be very likely to get the "Time's Up - Launching Level" message after 30 seconds. Do that 25 times and the trophy is yours.

Note: If you do get dropped into a level with someone else and stay for multiple levels with them, or they choose to replay the level, the game seems to count this as multiple plays toward this trophy, but if you're in a level by yourself, replaying doesn't count.

[top]
Play 25 Community Levels
Play 25 unique cooperative community levels

Although the trophy's description doesn't specifically say it, you must play and complete 25 cooperative (not versus) community levels to unlock it. This shouldn't be a problem, as you'll need to play way more than 25 levels to earn U Know U A Playa anyway. Just head over to your community section and find some good levels to play until you get there.

[top]
Play 75 Community Levels
Play 75 unique cooperative community levels

As you might guess, this one is exactly the same as Play 25 Community Levels above except that you have to complete 75 levels instead of 25. Even so, this one will come in due course as you're working toward U Know U A Playa. An easy way to get this trophy fast is to go to "Community", "Text Search" and use search tags as "Empty", "Finished", "Nothing" and you will get a lot of levels with an instant finish.

[top]
Actually Quite Good
Place in the top 25% of players in 5 community level scoreboards (with at least 50 other players in them)

To unlock this trophy, you'll need to place in the top 25% of players in 5 different community scoreboards (with at least 50 plays). Your best chance to get this trophy is to play the "Cool Levels", because they have a ton of plays on them, and generally speaking, the more plays a level has, the easier it is to get in the top 25%.

Just concentrate on getting as many multipliers as you can, getting through any races quickly and not dying, and you should find this to be a fairly easy trophy to earn.

[top]
Play 5 Versus Levels
Play 5 unique Versus mode levels

You can search for Versus Levels by hitting when you're on any of the Community search pages and choosing Versus from the pre-set list of available filters. Play 5 unique Versus Mode Levels and the trophy will unlock.

[top]
25 Online Versus Wins
Win 25 online Versus mode community levels online against at least 1 other player

For this trophy, you need to accumulate 25 wins in versus games against at least one online player. You cannot go into an empty game, nor can you use multiple controllers - this actually has to be done against a player who is not on your system. Use the method outlined above to find versus levels and then choose the option to join players already in the level when prompted. Once you're in the game, all you have to do is win.

Like Dive in 25 above, however, this can be an exercise in frustration because of the current state of the LBP servers and the way the matchmaking in this game works, so the recommended method to earn this trophy is as follows:

1. Go to The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Boosting Thread to find a partner.
2. Get together in game, in one of your pods.
3. Use the method outlined above to find a versus level (The 'X' Game is a good option, if you can find it, because it is only :30 long) and join it together.
4. Play the level together 50 times without exiting (choose Replay each time you finish), alternating wins however you see fit.

Note: This is another one that won't pop right away, so unless you actually keep track of how many wins each person has, you'll probably end up playing the level several times more than you need to, but that may still be easier than keeping track because you shouldn't have to wait more than a couple of minutes for it.

[top]
U Know U A Playa
Spend 5 hours playing community levels

Depending on how you attack the community levels you need to play and rate for other trophies, this may be the most time-consuming of the online ones. To earn it, you have to be actively playing community levels for 5 hours, which means 5 hours in levels, moving around and pushing buttons. Time spent searching for levels does not count, and you can't just enter a level and leave your PS3 on to rack up time.

As tempting as it may be to try to get some of the other trophies out of the way quickly by entering levels and leaving them right away, that will not help you in the slightest for this one, so try having a little patience and finishing every level you play (unless you get stuck in one of those annoying ones that doesn't seem to go anywhere or have a way out) until you have this one out of the way. If you don't, you may end up having all of your other online trophies done and having to randomly play more levels to finish up your time.

If you do find yourself in a situation where this trophy is all you have left and you don't want to actually play levels for some reason, you can enter a community level and then just press repeatedly while watching TV or doing something else - just make sure the level you are in is one that you can just stand in without getting killed or having time run out. If you have a controller with a turbo button, you can do the same thing and tape the button down so that you don't have to press it yourself. Rubber-banding your analog sticks does not work - you have to be pressing buttons.

[top]
A Game A Day Keeps The Doctor Away
Play LittleBigPlanet 2 every day of the week

To earn this trophy, you simply need to play LittleBigPlanet 2 at least once on every day of the week. In this case, just turning on the game and getting to your pod counts as playing - you don't actually have to do anything beyond that. You don't have to play seven days in a row, nor do they have to be in any particular order. As soon as the game registers that you have played at least once on any Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the trophy will pop.

If you're going for this trophy normally, playing seven straight days is the fastest way to get it, but if you miss a day, just be sure to keep track so that you can play on that day the next week. If you play from 11:00 pm to 1:00 am, that would count for both days - you don't have to load up the game from scratch on each day.

This is driven by your PS3's clock, so for those of you who are so inclined, you can manually change the clock six times (you'll have to quit and reload the game in between each change) to get this one out of the way. Don't forget to reset it to the correct time after your last change.

[top]
Who Needs Breakfast
Play before 9am

Very simple: the first time you play LittleBigPlanet 2 in between the hours of 12:00 AM and 9:00 AM you'll earn this trophy. This can be starting the game between those times or playing past midnight on a given night - it will register while you're in the game.

If you have trouble finding time to play in the early hours or just don't have any patience, this is driven off of your PS3's clock, so you can change it manually and then load the game to unlock this trophy.

[top]
Just... One... More... Go...
Play after 9pm

Just like Who Needs Breakfast above, except that you must play between the hours of 9:00 PM and 11:59 PM. Once again, if the clock passes 9:00 while you are playing, this trophy will pop.

If you are not a night person or just want to get this out of the way, this is driven off of your PS3's clock, so you can change it manually and then load the game to unlock this trophy.

[top]
Grapple Hooked
Create a chain of 4 players grappling each other

For this trophy, you'll need to have four people playing in a level that has the Grappling Hook in it, and then you'll need to establish a chain where one person hits to latch on to a grapple point, a second player aims at them and hits to grab them with their grappling hook, and so on. All four players must be off of the ground - you can't just stand in a line and do this.

You can easily get this in Gripple Grapple in Da Vinci's Hideout - just find a spot where there is plenty of room under the grapple point, and have everyone push up on to shorten their ropes to make it easier.

This will be very difficult to do by yourself, even with four controllers, so if you don't have any friends or family that want to come over and help you out, head over to The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Boosting Thread to find a few good partners.

[top]
Turbo Slapper
Slap more than one player at once

As the description says, you need to slap at least two sackpeople at one time to earn this trophy. You slap in LittleBigPlanet by holding down and then quickly swinging your arm with (or and to slap someone on the other side).

The easiest place to get this is in your pod. If you have three controllers, just turn on the second and third and don't move them at all - leave them where they pop in, then move to one side or the other with controller #1 and let them have it.

If you don't have three controllers, you can once again look for help in The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Boosting Thread.

[top]
Snappy Dresser
Change your costume

When you start up LittleBigPlanet 2 for the first time you will have to play an introduction level, during which you will have to change your costume. Open your Popit with and choose "Customize Character". Choose a basic outfit either "Sebastian" or "Sofie," then hit to go to the next tab and choose a "Material" for your Sackboy, and after that the trophy should unlock.

If you miss this in the Introduction, you can do it at any time by following the steps above or picking any combination of material, head piece and body piece.

To enter Create Mode, go to Me > My Moon and click on one of your existing levels or an empty spot on the moon. From there, you must be actively creating (moving and pressing buttons) for a total of 1440 minutes (24 hours) to earn this trophy.

If you're one of the people that loves the creative side of this game and is going to create levels anyway, you'll get this trophy in due time, and it will probably be a joy for you to get it.

If you're not one of those people, read on:

When the description says active, it means active: to earn this trophy, you must be pressing buttons in Create Mode for a total of 1440 minutes. You cannot put yourself in create mode and just leave the PS3 on, movement alone does not count as time and neither does moving/spinning an object, so you can't rubber band one of the analog sticks and walk away. Anything that involves bounce pads or anything else that would keep your sackperson in motion will also not work, because it would involve taking the level out of Create Mode and putting it into Play Mode, and the game is looking for inputs from your controller.

The only foolproof method of adding to your time is to be pressing buttons, so if you want to help yourself toward this trophy without actually creating anything, you need to get into create mode and repeatedly press to open and close the popit. Sounds mind-numbingly boring, right? Well, it is, but the good news is that there's no need for you to be watching your sackperson open and close their popit over and over again, so you can just hold your controller and push the button while you're watching TV or doing something else. The other option, if you have a turbo controller (a controller that automatically repeats button presses when you hold it down), is to fix the button in place with tape and/or another object and let the controller do the button pushes for you - that way you don't have to be involved at all, and could even leave your PS3 on overnight and/or while you're not at home to rack up time.

Be sure to check your Create pin regularly to make sure you're doing things right and adding time to your total.

Community Spirit
Publish a level to the Community

To earn this trophy, you simply need to access any level you've created in your Moon and publish it by pressing and then clicking on Publish.

To save time, follow this method to earn this trophy along with Custom Badger, A Series of Tubes and Step Into My Arena:
  • 1. Go into the My Moon page of the Me section.
  • 2. Click on an empty circle to create a new level.
  • 3. Hit to bring up your popit menu, go to the Tools Bag and hit to scroll all the way to the last page. At the top of this page, under gameplay, change the mode to Versus.
  • 4. Hit and go up to Edit Details, highlight the level badge/icon at the top of the page (next to the name) and click on it. Choose any item from the menu that comes up to put an image on the level badge.
  • 5. Go over to the far right of the page you are on and check the box that says "Sub-level."
  • 6. Hit to back out of that page and then click on Save, then Return to Pod.
  • 7. Hit on the level you just created and choose Publish, then hit Publish again on the next page, choose a location for your level and click to publish it.
  • 8. Go back to My Moon and click on another empty circle to create another level.
  • 9. Open your popit menu and go to your tools bag once more. This time, go to page 3/7 and the section called "Level Kit." Choose Level Link and place one in your level by pressing .
  • 10. Press on the Level Link, then in the menu that comes up, and then choose the level you just published.
  • 11. Exit the popit and then hit start again. Go to Edit Details and type in a name for your level.
  • 12. Save the level and Return to Pod.
  • 13. Hit on the level and hit publish twice to publish this one.

The trophies will pop up as you're publishing the two levels, and by the time you get to the end of this process you should have all four of them.

Keep in mind that you'll need to have at least one level published for 50 Unique Players and Long Term Publisher, so if you don't plan on doing any more, you can use the second one you created for both of those.

[top]
50 Unique Players
A level you published was played by 50 unique players

The trophy description says it all on this one - you need to accumulate plays by 50 different players on one of your published levels to earn it.

If you are planning on creating levels and going for this normally, the best way to get plays is to either make a really good level that people will rate highly, making it more likely to come up in searches for highly rated levels, or to make a level based on a popular movie or game so that people will find it as they are searching via text. Using the second method, it doesn't matter as much how good the level is because you just need someone to try your level for it to count as a play - they don't have to finish it.

If you're not planning on making levels and/or you're having a hard time getting plays, head over to The Official LittleBigPlanet 2 Play for Play Thread, read the instructions and sign up to give help to people in the same boat, and receive help for yourself in return.

Do not just sign your name in that thread and leave without helping other people out - that's not cool.

Long Term Publisher
A level you've created has been published for 7 days

Simply publish a level and leave it published for 7 days to earn this trophy. This one is driven by the LittleBigPlanet servers, so there's no quick out that you can get by changing your PS3's clock. See Community Spirit above for more information on publishing a level.

Good news for experienced creators from LittleBigPlanet: if you have a level from the first game that is still published, you will get this trophy as soon as you fire up the game for the first time, as long as you import your LBP1 profile and your level has been published for more than seven days.

A Series of Tubes
Use Level Link to link two of your published levels together

A new feature in LittleBigPlanet 2, the Level Link allows you to create a portal from one of your created levels to another, completely different level.

To earn this trophy, you'll need to first publish a sub-level, then create a level link to it from another level that you subsequently publish. See Community Spirit above for more detailed instructions.

[top]
Custom Badger
Create a custom badge

When you create a level in LittleBigPlanet 2, you have the option to modify the "badge" - the image displayed on the circular doorway into your level. You do that by clicking on the badge in the Edit Details screen for any level and choosing an image. After you've chosen an image for the badge, save the level and publish it and this trophy is yours.

See Community Spirit above for more detailed instructions.

Step Into My Arena
Publish a Versus Mode level

Another new feature in LittleBigPlanet 2, Versus Mode allows you to create and play levels that pit you against 1-3 other players in various types of mini-games. To earn this trophy, you'll need to create a Versus level (you'll find this option under "Gameplay" in the last page of the Tools Bag in your popit menu) and publish it.

See Community Spirit above for more detailed instructions.

Teacher's Pet
Watch all tutorials, take a gold star, go to the top of the class

There are 52 Tutorials that are accessed from the Tutorials page in the Me section of your Pod's main menu. Some of them are unlocked as you progress through the game, but you have the option to unlock them all from the beginning by scrolling down to the very bottom of the list and clicking on "Unlock All Tutorials."

From that point, you don't have to complete any of the tutorials. For the video ones, just hit as soon as they start, and for the ones that take you into a tutorial level, just hit to pause the game and select "Leave Tutorial." Do this until all 52 tutorials have check marks by them and the trophy is yours.

Note: If you plan on creating levels, you will want to actually finish all of the tutorials because they will teach you techniques that you will need, and because you will receive several items at the end of each that you can use in your creations.

40 Yays or Boos!
Give 40 positive or negative votes on community levels

Playing Community levels is not only one of the coolest parts of the LittleBigPlanet experience, it's also a necessary part of your hunt for the platinum trophy. Every time you exit a level - either after completing it or when you choose to leave by pressing and returning to your pod, you will have the option to give the level either a Yay! or a Boo! rating, basically indicating whether or not you liked it. You give a Yay! by clicking on the happy sackperson and a Boo! by clicking on the sad one. Do that 40 times and this trophy will unlock.

You can only give a Yay! or Boo! to a level one time, so you will need to access at least 40 different levels to get this one done. You don't actually have to finish any of them, but you do have to at least start them because you don't get the Yay!/Boo! choice until after you are in the level, and you might as well be in the habit of finishing the levels to build up time for U Know U A Playa.

[top]
160 Yays or Boos!
Give 160 positive or negative votes on community levels

Obviously, this is exactly the same as 40 Yays or Boos!, except that you have to do it 160 times. This is something you should get easily as you're working through the other Community-based trophies in this game, as long as you Yay! or Boo! every level you play. However, if you're impatient or you get all of the other trophies done and still need this one, you can just enter and immediately leave levels, rating them as you go, until you get this out of the way.

If you go that route, use the "short" filter when searching for levels. Even though you don't have to play them, short levels load faster than longer ones, so you'll spend less time waiting.

[top]
Journalistical
Write a review

After playing a level, you're given several options. One of them that you'll see on the right hand side of the screen is "Review". When you click on it, it will show you several existing reviews and at the top of the page there is a "Leave your own Review" option. Click on this, write something in the box and save it, and the trophy will pop.

[top]
Paparazzo
Upload a photo using either the PS Eye camera or the in-game camera tool

Open your popit and go to the Stickers Et Decorations. Go to the "My Pictures Page" and hit on any picture you find there. One of the options listed there is "Upload." Click it and the trophy will pop.

If you just started playing the game and there are no pictures in your popit yet, you can take one by clicking on the camera icon in the menu from anywhere in the game. There are also several areas in story or community levels where your picture will be automatically taken as you're performing some kind of action.

[top]
The Voterator 5
Rate 5 brand new community levels (less than 10 plays)

To unlock this trophy, you need to give a Yay! or Boo! rating to 5 levels that have each been played less than 10 times. The easiest way to find new levels in your Community screen is to go to "More" at the bottom and then choose "Newest Levels" under the Even More section on the far right side. You can see how many plays a level has by looking at the number next to the little sackboy icon in the level's information.

Once you enter the level, hit start right away, rate the level and hit Return to Pod to make sure the level doesn't pass 10 plays while you're in it. If you're doing a bunch of these in a row, you may want to back out and go through the search screen after every couple of levels as well, because the play counts won't update on your screen right away and you want to make sure you're not accidentally playing levels with more than 10 plays.

[top]
The Voterator 50
Rate 50 brand new community levels (less than 10 plays)

Just like The Voterator 5 above, except that you have to do it 50 times instead of 5. If you're trying to knock this out all at once, be sure to back out and re-search every few levels as noted above so that you don't waste time playing levels that won't count.

[top]
A Dip in The Stream
Play a level from your Recent Activity Stream

When you first open the Pod Computer, one of the options in the menu is "Recent Activity," and it will be full of the most recent things you've played (including anything you may have played in LittleBigPlanet). Just click on one of those levels and as soon as it starts loading the level, the trophy will pop - you don't have to actually play the level.

Uber Prize Collector
Collect 100% of Story prize bubbles

Prize Bubbles are the larger of the two types of bubbles scattered around the LittleBigPlanet world, and contain stickers you'll need to access new areas in certain levels or items you can use as you create your own levels. To earn this trophy, you'll need to find every single prize bubble in the story portion of the game.

There are prize bubbles that you have to find in main story levels, and bubbles in many of the side levels and score/survival challenges, which are earned by finishing the level with a certain score. All of them count toward this trophy.

Scroll down to the next section of the guide for written and video walkthroughs of every prize bubble, level by level.

Note: There are several challenges where you earn prize bubbles simply by killing enough enemies, surviving for long enough, or finishing a race with a fast enough time - there is no reason to discuss those, so this guide only contains walkthroughs for bubbles that need to be found in levels and for challenges that require a specific strategy to get through.

See Prize Collector above for more information.
