- New players should play on at least Varsity level, seasoned players should play on at least All-American or higher. If you are having trouble and are new to football you can earn trophies on Freshman.
- If you are playing Exhibition games for trophies set yourself up as one of the good football programs such as Alabama and USC and make the CPU the bad teams such as Texas State, UTSA and UMASS
- Playbooks are very important. Do you like to play with Florida but hate their wide open style of play and constant shotguns? After you pick your team you can pick any playbook on Offense and Defense so make sure you pick one that suits your gameplay style.
- This is a sports game and as with every sports game there are several effective ways to get the trophies. I have listed the strategies that I feel for work best for a wide range of users but what works best for you might be different. If you find an alternate strategy that works well, please list it here and as long as its not completely changing the game of football, I will add it to the guide

Pick up 20
Break off a 20 yard run (excludes Co-Op).

Break off a 20 yard run (excludes Co-Op).
There are several plays that work well for this trophy. I personally like to run plays out of the I-twins, running to the side of the field that is wider. The plays I have found that work best are Options and the Counter. The option gives you a choice with the ball and the Counter provides excellent blocking. If you run either of these out of twins and the defenders do not both go to one side this means that they are in a zone and use the right stick to quickly audible your run to the opposite side for less defenders at the point of attack. Once you break a run for 20 yards or more the trophy will unlock.
If you are having trouble with this trophy, play an exhibition game as either USC, Alabama, or another high ranked team and make the computer UMASS or UTSA or a very low caliber team to make this easier.

Go for Broke
Complete a pass for 50 or more yards (excludes Co-Op).

Complete a pass for 50 or more yards (excludes Co-Op).
This trophy is easier than it sounds and you will probably get just by playing throughout the course of your dynasty. You don't have to throw a deep pass for this to work. As long as the Pass play goes for 50 or more yards you will receive the trophy. I personally like the Slip Screen Play for this trophy because its easy to catch and if you run it from the I-twins and catch them in man coverage all the speedy corners will be on the wrong side of the field and it should be an easy run for your RB against the slower LBs. Also pay attention to the coverage if they blitz the screen pass a lot of times they will leave open the receivers that are going deep. The receivers are meant to be a decoy to run off the opponents but if they leave them wide open just toss the ball to them to get some easy 50 yards. Another good play for this trophy is any play the receivers run a Corner patter. If you catch the defense in a man coverage it,s an easy completion.
If you are having trouble with this trophy, play an exhibition game as either USC, Alabama, or another high ranked team and make the computer UMASS or UTSA or a very low caliber team to make this easier.

Up the Gut for the Score
Score a touchdown handing off to the fullback on a triple option play (excludes Co-Op).

Score a touchdown handing off to the fullback on a triple option play (excludes Co-Op).
For this trophy you must use a playbook that has a Triple Option as one of its Option plays. You can find these in several playbooks, just look for the playbooks that are either Run Balanced or Option based offenses. Wait until you get close to the goal line, inside the 5 works best, and call the Triple Option. When you snap the ball, hold the

Keep 'em Honest
Gain 200 rushing yards and 200 passing yards in the same game (excludes Co-Op and Road to Glory).

Gain 200 rushing yards and 200 passing yards in the same game (excludes Co-Op and Road to Glory).
This is a pretty easy trophy to obtain follow the simple rules of selecting teams if you are playing an Exhibition game. You must have 200 yards passing with all your players and 200 yards rushing with all you players. This doesn't have to be all with one or two players, it is cumulative for the entire team. Once you have this many yards for rushing and passing you will receive this trophy.
If you are having trouble with this trophy, play an exhibition game as either USC, Alabama, or another high ranked team and make the computer UMASS or UTSA or a very low caliber team to make this easier.

Unstoppable
Win a game by 35+ points on Heisman difficulty (excludes Co-Op).

Win a game by 35+ points on Heisman difficulty (excludes Co-Op).
This will definitely be the most difficult trophy in the entire game. There isn't a lot of strategy I can give you on this one, completing this trophy will rely only on your skills in this game. The computer is very difficult on the Heisman Difficulty Level. On Defense, I recommend using Man Coverages as they will pick apart your Zones fairly easily. If you are a heavy blitzer on Defense you will want to tone it down a bit for the Heisman difficulty because they will often throw to the open area of the field from the blitz. On Offense, TAKE CARE OF THE BALL! You will need to beat the CPU by 35 or more points for the trophy so you can't just play it slow and run out the clock with a ball control offense. Use a Heavy Passing attack and you should be fine. You can extend the Quarter length to make the game longer if you need more time. You can do this at any time during your Dynasty, just head to Dynasty House Rules and change the difficulty when you have a game against a desirable opponent. Make sure you change your settings back to the level you want to play on when you are done .

Recruiting Strategies while Playing your Dynasty
When you start go to preseason recruiting and then SPARQ top 100. Any player with a green dot next the them is interested in your school and will be easier to recruit. You want to sign as many 5 star and 4 star prospects as possible. After you fill your board, start your season. Go to your recruiting screen and then your recruiting board.Click on a player and then click on offer scholarship. For the first couple of weeks just concentrate on getting everyone on your board scholarships and occasionally players will sign just from the offer. After everyone is offered a scholarship you will then prepare for visits. At the beginning of each week press the
and reorder your prospects by interest. Click on recruit for your school and then click call prospect. Here's where you must make your tough decisions, how much time to spend with each prospect. I would say to spend about 30 minutes with each prospect in the top rankings as long as they are 5 star and 4 star prospects. Now it's time to decide your pitches, if you have an A+ or A rating then click on the option to find their interest. The interest will range from Most to Very Low. If their interest is low, but you have a good grade, you can try to sway their importance level by moving the cursor down to the option to sway their interest and pressing the
. You want to try to get 3 very highs or most for importance matched to your As and A+s before they come for a visit. Now you can also offer up to 3 promises in your FIRST season. If you are playing be careful what you promise because if you don't deliver you will lose respect from future signings. If you aren't playing offer whatever to try to sign as many in the 1st season as possible. You can also steal points from other schools. Always check the comparison and if you have a high grade in something important to the prospect and a rival school is not rated well choose the option to compare against another school to take away some of their points. At the end of each week simply sim your game because we are concentrating on recruiting not playing.Once a prospect is ready, schedule a visit and it will ask you to choose up to 3 activities. Choose the ones that match the importance with your school rating to try to woo your prospect to your school. After he has visited if he hasn't signed don't forget to still call him even if it's a quick call to keep his interest. If you lose players go back to the board and add more.
At the end of the season follow the same procedure except you can promise things to your prospects. Offer them whatever you want including winning National Championships in their first year because you aren't actually playing. At the end of the final week in the off season if you end up ranked 1st in recruiting you will obtain this trophy.
Now you can earn this with any school, BUT the easiest school to do this with are high prestige, high ranking schools. I recommend using either USC or Alabama for this trophy.
If you are having trouble you can also go into your Dynasty House Setting and change the Recruiting level down to Freshman to help you in signing more recruits.
You can get this at the same time as the
Dual Threat Coach trophy and this trophy won't unlock until after you have completed Signing Day in the Offseason.

High School Champ
Play and win the High School Championship Game in any state.

Play and win the High School Championship Game in any state.
Start a Road To Glory mode game and follow the setup for your player. You can set up any position you want, but I recommend a scrambling quarterback because you have the option to run or pass on every down and the ball will always be in your hands on Offense. Once the setup is complete it will start you on your high school team in a playoff tournament. There are 3 playoff games before the championship game. You must win all three games to qualify for the championship and then you must win the final championship game for the trophy.

Become a 5-star prospect in Road to Glory Mode.
As you are playing through your HS season you will earn Recruitment Points for everything you do in the game. The better you play and more stats you accumulate for yourself, the more points you will gain. The easiest positions for RTG are QB and RB as you can get an insane amount of points. For this trophy you will need to get 1,000 Recruitment Points by the end of your HS career including Playoffs. You WILL NOT gain any recruitment points for Simming the games, so I suggest at least playing until you have hit 1,000 points to get your 5 stars before you start your simming to finish off the HS portion. If you are having trouble getting to 1,000 points, you can play on Freshman and earn more points.

At the end of your Road to Glory high school season you will be asked to select which college you wish to attend. The better you play through your high school championship run does have an impact on this. When you are selecting a school it will tell you your projected place on the depth chart such as starter or 2nd string. The better you play means the bigger the school that will project you as the starter in your first season.
Now that being said, you can just select a school that puts you as the start to get the trophy, but I suggest heading to a school that puts you at 2nd string. After you have completed the Position Battle to become the Starter you will unlock this trophy at the same time as the

For this trophy select one of the schools that has you at 2nd string on the depth chart. In the first week use the practice time to gain the necessary points to hit the next level as represented by the meter that fills up at the bottom of the screen after each play that you run. I believe its about 400 points. Once you have filled up that blue meter, you can't gain any more points so Quit Practice and then Sim the current game to the next week.
In week 2 you should now have the Position Battle option instead of Practice. head into the Position Battle and complete the necessary points to become the starter and the trophy will unlock. If this is your first RTG mode you will also unlock the

Earn my Trust
Reach the max coach trust in Road to Glory Mode.

Reach the max coach trust in Road to Glory Mode.
Once you have finished your High School career in Road to Glory and have chosen your College to attend, you can begin working on your Coach Trust. Coach Trust is earned in either Practice or in the weekly games based on your performance on the field. Everytime you either gain yards or get a TD you will notice that you will gain points on the meter that fills up after each play until you hit your goal. On that note, you will also lose points for Yards Lost, Fumbles, Interceptions thrown and Sacks taken if you are a QB. Once that meter hits the target number, you will have to head into the next week of gameplay and use the Coach Trust tab to advance to the next level.
Now personally I recommend playing the Practice Mode to get the points that you need and then Simming through the game to get to the next week, but that's because I absolutely hate playing RTG. You will need approximately 10 weeks to max out the Couch Trust if you manage to hit the goal every single week. Once you have hit the max goal, you can quit the practice early and it won't effect your points. If for some reason you don't max out the week playing Practice, you can always play in the game until you hit your goal number and vice versa.
Each level you unlock will give you more abilities in the game, depending on your position, if you are really into RTG and want to play all the way through it.
If you set the RTG difficulty on Freshman at the start of your HS career you will gain Coach Trust points faster.
Below are the levels you must hit, in order, to Max out Coach Trust and the amount of points you will need to finish that level and start the next one. I am starting with 2nd as that's is the position I recommend starting at to finish the RTG trophies the quickest. There is a 3rd string at the very bottom, but I don't recommend starting there and thus I won't be listing it

Recruiting Strategies while Simming your Dynasty
This is the biggest pain in the ass trophy in the entire game. Once you get this trophy the rest of the game is all downhill to the platinum. These are the guidelines that I recommend you follow to make this quick and easy.
- 1. Set up your Dynasty
- Select either USC or Alabama: You don't have to use either of these, but you HAVE to win the National Championship and these are the best two teams in the game and the start at #1 and #2.
- Set up your Recruiting Board: You can either do this on the preseason or at the beginning of week 1. Either way DO NOT let the CPU set your board up for you. Head into the SPARC top 100, and head straight down the list adding any 5 star prospect that has a Green Dot next to their name that signifies their interest level in your school. Once you get to the 4 star prospects, head back up to the top and add head straight down the list adding any remaining 5 star prospects you haven't already added to fill your Recruiting Board at 35.
- Change your Recruiting Settings: This is very important, otherwise the CPU will add a bunch of 3 star recruits during the season and mung up your recruitment. Head into the Strategy tab under Recruitment and turn the CPU assist to OFF for filling the recruiting board. Make sure you leave the settings to ON for CPU assist on scholarships and home visits.
- Turn off Auto Save: This is very important also, otherwise you will end up having to reset everything up. Head into the Dynasty House Rules and turn off the Auto Save.
- Save your Game: Now that you are set up, Manually Save your game so you can restart from this point, without having to reset things up again.
- 2. SIM to Week 5
- At the end of Week 5 check your Win/Loss record and your rankings. If you haven't lost at all you will be either at #1 or #2 if you used the teams I recommended. If this is the case, Manually Save your save file on a separate save file so you can start at Week 5 if things don't go your way later. Don't save over your beginning of the season save as you may need this later. If you have lost a game, exit the Dynasty Mode and reload your previous save from the beginning of the season.
- Add to your Recruiting Board: Check your Recruiting Board, and if you have lost any players to other schools, remove them from your board, then had back the Top 100 and head down the list, adding the best players available.
- 3. SIM to week 10
- At the end of Week 10 check your Win/Loss record and your rankings. If you haven't lost at all you will be either at #1 or #2 if you used the teams I recommended. If this is the case, Manually Save your save file over the Week 5 save file, so you can start at Week 10 if things don't go your way later. If you have lost a game, exit the Dynasty Mode and reload your previous save from the beginning of Week 5.
- Add to your Recruiting Board: Check your Recruiting Board, and if you have lost any players to other schools, remove them from your board, then had back the Top 100 and head down the list, adding the best players available.

- At the end of Conference Championship Week check your Win/Loss record and your rankings. If you haven't lost at all you will be either at #1 or #2 if you used the teams I recommended. If this is the case, Manually Save your save file over the Week 10 save file so you can start at Conference Championship Week if things don't go your way later. If you have lost a game, exit the Dynasty Mode and reload your previous save from the beginning of Week 10.
At this point, head into your Recruiting menu and check the Top Classes tab. You should be in either #1 or #2 in Recruiting. If you are in either of these spots, it's ok to proceed. If not, I recommend restarting from an earlier file.

Reach a coach prestige of A+ with a created coach in Dynasty (Coach Contracts on).
This sounds harder than it actually is to get. The first step for this trophy is to head to the Dynasty tab and start a new dynasty. When you pick your team make sure you select the option to Create a new Coach instead of using the team's existing coach. Go through the Create a Coach process, then sign with your team and begin your season.
Now you need to raise your Prestige up to an A+. The easiest way to do that is to take a crappy team to the National Championship and win. The convenient part of that is, there just happens to be a trophy for doing just that. When you take either Texas State, UTSA or UMASS to the National Championship and win to get the

This trophy will require you to have an Online Pass to be able to unlock. So, if you rented this game with the hopes of a juicy platinum, you will have to purchase an Online Pass from the PS Store.
From the Main Menu, head to Online Dynasty which ISN'T part of the Online Menu for some reason, and is instead sitting next to the Offline Dynasty menu. Once you are there, press the
to join an Online Dynasty. Now you will enter the search menu to find one of your liking. Simply leave everything as default and click Search to pull up all Online Dynasties available. Once you are there, press the
button to head over to the Protected Tab and use the sort function to pull up all the Dynasties that don't require a password to join.
Now that you have your choices, join one that ISN'T in Week 1, that way you are assured some Dynasty Wire news. Select whatever school you want and sign your contract as the existing coach. You do NOT have to save when prompted for this trophy. Once you are in the Dynasty Main Menu, click on the first tab which is the Dynasty Wire tab, then head to any of the news on there and add any comment you want to the story and the trophy will unlock after you are done.

Win a game without scoring an offensive touchdown and gaining less than 200 yards (excludes Co-Op).

Win a game without scoring an offensive touchdown and gaining less than 200 yards (excludes Co-Op).
One of the easiest trophies in the game. Start up any Exhibition game, or Dynasty if you want to do it while playing your other games, and in the Settings change the quarter length to one minute. Once you have done that when you get the ball, waste then entire half running the ball down the field, either first or second half, and at the end of either half kick a FG to take a 3 point lead. The half you don't have the ball, make sure you stop the computer from scoring any points. If you happen to get the ball twice, make sure you just 2 waste out time without getting too many yards and without scoring again. As soon as the game ends, the trophy will unlock.
If you are having trouble with this trophy, play an exhibition game as either USC, Alabama, or another high ranked team and make the computer UMASS or UTSA or a very low caliber team to make this easier.

Unlock 5 attributes on a single scouting session.

Unlock 5 attributes on a single scouting session.
The Scouting feature has been modified in this year's game and the improvement is much better for the Scouting option. At the beginning of each week you will receive 3 hours of scouting time. During the recruiting, you will notice that the majority of the players on your recruiting board have a white dot next to the phone icon by their name. This white dot signifies that they can be scouted. Also at the top of each player's profile you will see the percentage they have been scouted. Scouting them will unlock their exact attributes for all the important skills that you will want to know to get the best recruits. Some of the abilities can even be higher or lower than projected and the recruitees overall score can increase or decrease based on this. This is much better than recruiting a running back thinking he is fast and then once you have started the next season find out he has 80 Speed >:F.
For this trophy, head to any recruit that has 0% for his scouting completion and scout him for a full hour. You can probably get it at less % and with less time, but why take chances. As long as you unlock 5 attributes during the scouting session, which you will if he is at 0%, the trophy will unlock.

Win the Heisman with Carson Palmer.
New to NCAA 13 this year is the Heisman Challenge. The Heisman Challenge combines the somewhat boring gameplay of the RTG mode with the ultimate experience of playing as a Heisman Trophy winner at the height of their career in your quest to win the Heisman. In addition to this new mode, they have also added "Reaction Time" to this game mode which is a new feature this year. During the play press and hold the

Intercept a pass while using Reaction Time.

Intercept a pass while using Reaction Time.
This one is not nearly as tough as it sounds and is much easier than the Interception trophy for 2011. You can only earn this trophy playing in RTG mode. Once you have entered RTG mode, I recommend using a CB, but you can get this with a LB or Safety if you prefer. After your setup, I recommend just putting the game on Freshman difficulty as the only goal is to get the Interception. If you feel like playing all of RTG with a corner, then by all means put it at a different difficulty.
Now it's game time! Unlike last years game, you CAN NOT get this trophy by simming! You must play the game because you have to use Reaction Time while getting your interception. Now it's just a waiting game, you might get this in the first game, or it might take until the 5th game just depends on when they throw the ball in your direction. The good news is your defender will cover on his own, you don't need to control him to chase his receiver he is supposed to cover. He will also drop into his zones for zone coverage all on his own. Once a pass gets thrown your way, wait for it to get close as you will only have a few seconds of Reaction Time, and then hold the

Welcome to the Club
Win the National Championship in year 1 of Dynasty with either UMASS, UTSA, or Texas State.

Win the National Championship in year 1 of Dynasty with either UMASS, UTSA, or Texas State.
This is one of the most difficult trophies in the game. UMASS, Texas State and UTSA are all new to division 1 football this year and its most definitely reflected in this trophy. To earn this trophy you must win the National Championship with one of these three teams at the end of Season 1. Texas State is probably the best of the 3 teams but that still isn't saying much. Follow my tips below to make this easier to help you on your path to earn this pain in the ass trophy.
- Step 1: Setup
- The first thing you need to do is set your team up and to do that you will need to choose your team.

Texas State Bobcats
Conference WAC Prestige ★ Offense 67 Defense 65 Overall 65 Key Players - #18 Xavier Daniels FS 82 Overall
- #2 Darryl Morris CB 77 Overall
- #17 Shaun Rutherford QB 76 Overall
- #20 Terrence Franks HB 75 Overall

UTSA Roadrunners
Conference WAC Prestige ★ Offense 66 Defense 63 Overall 63 Key Players - #45 Drew Johnson LE 80 Overall
- #8 Eric Soza QB 78 Overall
- #44 Steven Kurfehs MLB 76 Overall
- #1 Kam Jones WR 75 Overall

Texas State Bobcats
Conference MAC Prestige ★ Offense 61 Defense 61 Overall 60 Key Players - #44 Perry McIntyre MLB 77 Overall
- #27 Darren Thellen SS 75 Overall
- Now that you have picked your overly spectacular team, the season will begin. If you were smart and planned ahead, your Dynasty Team will also be your favorite team and you will unlock the
Dream Job trophy. - In the Offseason menu, after setting up your Recruiting Board head into the Custom Schedules tab.
- All three of these teams play in absolutely horrible divisions, so your level of opponents in division play will actually hurt you in the rankings.
- Go to all of your games that don't have a lock on them, and change them to teams that are in the Top 5. If you can't find one in the Top 5, make that week an Open week and go try on a different week. You will only get 4-5 extra teams to add because of the locked schedule and you need to make these games count.
- If you cant find Top 5 teams to add in these weeks, get the highest teams you can find but DO NOT go out of the Top 10 unless it's the first game or two of the season.
- You can make the tough games Home Games, if you want but by the end of the Schedule setup you need to have your Strength of Schedule at an A or higher.
- The first thing you need to do is set your team up and to do that you will need to choose your team.
- Step 2: Gameplay
- This next part depends on your gameplay. If you are having trouble on the difficulty you are playing on, LOWER THE DIFFICULTY!
- You CANNOT lose any games during the season, otherwise the chances of you making the National Championship game will be about as good as Boosh scoring with a lady. If you think you are going to lose, make sure you start the game over and don't end the game and let it Autosave or you will most likely have to start over.
- Finally, try and beat the CPU by as much as possible, especially against weak teams. If you are playing a school that is 0-8, even if they are better statistically, and you only win by a TD or so, it will most likely hurt your rankings! This is college...run up the score

- Step 3: End of the Season
- You need to be at #1 or #2 before the last game of the season or you might as well start over. If you have achieved this, you will most likely get an invite to the BCS National Championship. If you do, simply win the game and the trophy will unlock.

Don't Run Home to Mama
In Dynasty, convince a homesick player to stay at your school instead of transferring.

In Dynasty, convince a homesick player to stay at your school instead of transferring.
Of the two Players Leaving trophies you can earn in the offseason, this one is the pain. To unlock this trophy you will need to convince a "Homesick" player to stay at your School instead of transferring to a different school in their hometown. This ONLY takes place during Dynasty mode during the Offseason in the Players Leaving menu. to help you with this, I will list out a strategy that will work for this trophy. This strategy is what I used, and your own strategies may be different.
- Select Air Force as your user controlled team: There are several schools that will work for this, but at the end of year 1, Air Force has a Freshman QB that likes to get homesick so this will be our go to team for this. Now you can either create a coach, or use the existing coach, but you need to not get fired at the end of the season and the Created Coaches seem to get fired less. Also I found that changing schools causes different players to leave, so let's just set this up right to begin with.
- SIM to the end of the Season: At the end of the season, if you get FIRED start over, if you don't proceed to the Coaching Carousel in the Offseason.
- SIM to Coaching Carousel: Once you get to Coaching Carousel, head into My NCAA and shut off the Autosave in the System Settings menu. Then manually save a new file for your game before proceeding to Players Leaving.
- SIM to Players Leaving: Now check the Players Leaving board. If your friendly Freshman Homesick QB ISN'T there, reload your save from Coaching Carousel and try again. Every time you SIM from Coaching Carousel to this point you will get new players. Once our Homesick Player is there, head back out and manually save on a new file again. We save on a New File in case we happen to mess up.
- Convince our Homesick Player to stay: Select the best pitches, you will have to use all three. It should be, Start 9 games, throw 500 passes and run 200 times. Offering anything less than that will cause him to leave. At the end of the final pitch he will decide to either stay or leave. If he leaves, don't stress out, simply reload your save and try again. I can assure you that even if it seems like no matter how many times you offer he will always leave, I can guarantee you that it is completely random. I offered him about 12 times until he finally stayed. Once he finally stays, the trophy will unlock

No Regrets
Convince a player to stay for their senior year using only one promise to get their degree.

Convince a player to stay for their senior year using only one promise to get their degree.
Of the two Players Leaving trophies you can earn in the offseason, this one is by far the easiest. At the end of any of the offseasons you play in your Dynasty, head to the Players Leaving week and you will view the list of players leaving. In this list, look for any Juniors leaving for the Pro Draft, click on one of them and choose the first option "To stay in school to get your degree" to try and convince them to come back for their Senior Year. If they agree, the trophy will unlock.
This can be done at the same time as earning the
Dual Threat Coach trophy since you will have to play through this point in the Offseason to earn this trophy anyway.

Go Ahead, Ask me Anything
Earn a minimum of 75 recruiting points on a Prospect Choice topic.

Earn a minimum of 75 recruiting points on a Prospect Choice topic.
One of the easiest trophies in the game if you are playing your Franchise as a good team. During any of the weeks of your Dynasty, head into the Recruiting tab and head to any prospect. Pick at least a 10 minute call and the very first choice will say Player's Choice. This means the Prospect will talk about any of the topics on the board that he wants to talk about. You will automatically get a 25 point boost for letting the player choose so you will only need to get 50 more points from the call. Because of this you will only need to get an Above Average or so from the player matched up to a C+ for your school rating to unlock this trophy. If you are recruiting someone from a pipeline state you will also get a small bonus for that as well. Obviously the better your school and the more A, B and C ratings you have the easier this will be to earn.
You're best strategy is to start off every phone call with the Player Choice until you unlock the trophy. With a good school you will probably earn this on your first player.
