[top]Introduction

Meet Naughty Bear, a sociopathic teddy bear out for revenge and stuffed with evil intentions. Striking terror in the hearts of all bears, Naughty Bear lets you scare the stuffing out of your victims before you impale them on your machete. Filled with tons of mischief and over-the-top cartoon violence, this one of a kind adventure game is built on an innovative AI foundation that makes this game hours of fun for gamers of all levels.

[top]Tips and Strategies

The game of Naughty Bear is a fun slant on going around and killing other guys because this time you're the title character and you have good reasons to be angry with the other bears.

When you begin, you'll start off playing the story (or mission) mode but as you work your way through the seven Episodes you begin to unlock additional challenges that have specific rules to follow.

______________________________

Main Story Mode

In this part of the game you task is simple - kill the other bears!

However, the more creative you become leads to higher and higher amounts of naughty points (score) which in turn unlocks bronze, silver, gold and platinum cups which are needed for other trophies.

The best way to achieve better scores is to vary your tactics. There are several different weapons lying around so try not to use the same one twice. Also, breaking and sabotaging objects in the game increases your score. I also found that one of the greatest ways for quick score increases is to hit or kill a bear in full view of many others as you get good points for being seen being naughty.

You will probably find that in a typical playthrough you manage enough points for bronze or silver cups anyway but might have to go back and redo some parts to earn the higher scores necessary for gold and platinum cups.

______________________________

Friendly Challenges

Friendly challenges are unlocked as you progress through the game. They then exist as challenges 1-2, 5-2 and 6-2.

The special rule here is that you're not allowed to kill any of the other bears by direct means (you can't just hit them) but you CAN still use traps to injure them and to perform ultra-kills (running up behind them when they're trapped and pressing ).

______________________________

Insanity Challenges

Insanity challenges are unlocked as you progress through the game. They then exist as challenges 1-3, 3-3 and 7-3.

The special rule here is that you have to drive each bear insane. This can be quite tricky on some of the harder levels but the easiest way is to either sabotage devices or lay traps. When a bear comes along (to either fix the broken item or gets trapped) run up behind and press for a super scare. Doing this a couple of times with each bear will make them go insane.

It doesn't matter if the bears begin to kill themselves so long as you don't kill them directly.

______________________________

Invisible Challenges

Invisible challenges are unlocked as you progress through the game. They then exist as challenges 3-2 and 6-1.

The special rule here is that you must try no to be seen at all which can be quite hard. If you DO get spotted more than five times you will fail the challenge and must start over.

The best way to tackle these is to leave them until later in the game when you've unlocked a costume that allows you to move among the bears unnoticed. Also, sticking close to the trees (or in them) works very well.

The E.L.I.T.E. Mahoney costume is fantastic for these challenges as it lets you be unnoticed and also comes equipped with a silenced pistol so you can simply stand in the trees and shoot them from range.

______________________________

Killer Challenges

Killer challenges are unlocked as you progress through the game. They then exist as challenges 1-1, 2-3, 3-1, 4-3, 5-3, 6-3 and 7-2.

The special rule here is that you must kill every bear.

These are by far the easiest type of the challenges because if you haven't been killing bears so far you've been playing the wrong game. In fact by the time you start replaying some of the challenges you'll probably me a master at many different ways of sending bears to their fluff-filled graves.

The only thing to be cautious of is not to try and do too much at once, i.e. pick off the bears one at a time especially on levels that include cops, soldier bears etc.

______________________________

Speed Challenges

Speed challenges are unlocked as you progress through the game. They then exist as challenges 2-2, 4-2, 5-1 and 7-1.

The special rule here is that you must finish the whole challenge (all areas not just the first one) in under the specified time limit. There will be a countdown timer shown on your screen so you always know how long you have left.

Some of these can be a little bit tricky but the key is to remember that you DO NOT need to kill every bear. You only need to accrue enough points in each section to move on to the next area.

______________________________

Untouchable Challenges

Untouchable challenges are unlocked as you progress through the game. They then exist as challenges 2-1 and 4-1.

These are by far the most difficult of the normal challenges, especially when you're trying to get a high enough score for the gold or platinum cup. The special rule here is that you must avoid being hit at any point. If you get struck just once, either by a melee attack or shot by a gun you will fail the challenge and must start over.

The secret to beating these challenges is patience as you're not against the clock.

Stick to cover as much as you possibly can, only venturing into the open when you're sure the coast is clear. Try to target one bear to work on and uses sabotages and traps as much as possible. If your target bear runs away into a building, DO NOT follow him as there's almost always other bears in the buildings who'll hit you and end your challenge.

If this happens, either switch your attention to another bear that's easy to pick off or bide your time and wait it out in the bushes until your target bear comes outside again.

______________________________

Top-Hat Challenges

Top-hat challenges are unlocked as you progress through the game. They then exist as the fourth challenge available for each episode, e.g. 1-4, 2-4 etc.

These are usually very difficult challenges as these "special" events allow all of the other bears to very overpowered weapons (usually rayguns) capable of causing you a lot of damage very quickly.

The best way to beat the top-hat challenges is to leave them until you can do them using a costume which allows you to have silent movement and walking amongst the bears unnoticed. The Master Miyagi costume works particularly well here.

Once you've got your costume selected, try to take out any bears that are quite close to cover - that way if you get hit you can escape into the sanctuary of the long grass quickly.

[top]Trophies

Naughtyrificness!
Got all the trophies in Naughty Bear.

This trophy is a pretty difficult platinum to achieve but not impossible.

If you've waded all the way through this guide you should be able to get 90% of the trophies quite easily and almost certainly it'll be the ones relating to the gold and platinum cup requirements, Oh my GOLD!!! and Nutter!!!!! and the highest score one, Naughtiest Naughty Club that you'll get last.

Stick at it and hopefully one day you'll be the proud owner of one of the less common platinum trophies around.

Good luck!

[top]
Come Out and Play
Completed the First Episode and got a taste at Naughtiness.

This trophy unlocks as you play your way through the story mode of the game. To achieve it, simply complete the first episode, The Party.

It is a very easy trophy to achieve but once you start your path of destruction the bears will call for help form the police. The police, once they arrive, can be killed in much the same way as the other bears but they carry a handgun so staying in cover is advisable.

For this trophy it is only necessary to complete the main story part of each episode, NOT the additional challenges though they will be necessary for several other trophies, explained later in this guide. However, if you wish to save time and feel confident enough, getting the ironic kill trophy, Party Thrasher! (killing Daddles with the disco turntable) and a secret trophy, Maximum Security (getting all police on the island) can be done during this episode.

[top]
Vote Naughty: Don't get Killed
Completed the Second Episode.

This trophy unlocks as you play your way through the story mode of the game. To achieve it, complete the second episode, Top Teddy.

It is a fairly easy trophy to achieve but this time your main nemesis, Chubby, has called in some ninjas to protect him. Again the ninja bears can be killed in just the same way as normal bears BUT they are apparently "smarter, faster and deadlier". Also, ninja bears can follow you into the surrounding grass so it is advisable to try to kill off them first.

For this trophy it is only necessary to complete the main story part of each episode, NOT the additional challenges though they will be necessary for several other trophies, explained later in this guide. However, if you wish to save time and feel confident enough, getting the ironic kill, Drowning Politics! (killing Chubby with the disco toilet) and a secret trophy, Harakiri (getting all ninja bears to kill themselves) can be done during this episode.

[top]
Got your Privacy back
Completed the Third Episode.

This trophy unlocks as you play your way through the story mode of the game. To achieve it, complete the third episode, Big Ted is Watching.

It is a fairly easy trophy to achieve but this time your main target, Cozy, has called in the army to assist. The soldier bears can be killed in just the same way as normal bears BUT they often stick together in groups and they wield a potentially very damaging weapon, the Oozy. A good strategy is to pick off the army bears one by one as early as possible.

For this trophy it is only necessary to complete the main story part of each episode, NOT the additional challenges though they will be necessary for several other trophies, explained later in this guide. However, if you wish to save time and feel confident enough, getting the ironic kill, Watch THIS Cozy! (killing Cozy with the cabin's television set) and a secret trophy, Give me Peace! (destroy all bird cams) can be done during this episode.

[top]
The Moans have Stopped
Completed the Fourth Episode.

This trophy unlocks as you play your way through the story mode of the game. To achieve it, complete the fourth episode, Night of the Living Ted.

It is a fairly easy trophy to achieve but this time you won't be the only bear with intentions of killing off the other as you're joined by a series of Zombears. These zombie bears can be killed in just the same way as normal bears BUT they arise from the ground nearby a recent death and can often be difficult to spot in the dark onscreen conditions. A good strategy to stick to is to wait around just after making a kill to see if a zombear rises from a nearby spot.

For this trophy it is only necessary to complete the main story part of each episode, NOT the additional challenges though they will be necessary for several other trophies, explained later in this guide. However, if you wish to save time and feel confident enough, getting the ironic kill, Keeping a Cool Head! (punish Nibbles with the cabin's fridge) and a secret trophy, Death Race (kill all bears before the zombears do) can be done during this episode.

[top]
Oily Moily!
Completed the Fifth Episode.

This trophy unlocks as you play your way through the story mode of the game. To achieve it, complete the fifth episode, The Oil Baron's Ball.

It is a fairly easy trophy to achieve but this time your main target, Trembles, has brought with him some B.E.A.R.'s (Bear Emergency Action Response) to protect him. These B.E.A.R.'s can be killed in just the same way as normal bears but they are armoured and therefore have more health, taking longer to kill them off. A good strategy is to pick them off one by one in view of the others for more points but if they gang up, run away and return.

For this trophy it is only necessary to complete the main story part of each episode, NOT the additional challenges though they will be necessary for several other trophies, explained later in this guide. However, if you wish to save time and feel confident enough, getting the ironic kill, Trembles' Energy Problem (killing Trembles with the cabin's power box) and a secret trophy, Elite Chumps (kill all the B.E.A.R.'s with an object kill) can be done during this episode.

[top]
Threat Terminated
Completed the Sixth Episode.

This trophy unlocks as you play your way through the story mode of the game. To achieve it, complete the sixth episode, R153 0F R0B0-B34R.

It is a fairly easy trophy to achieve but this time your main target, Fluffy, has built himself an army of robot bears. The robobears can be killed in just the same way as normal bears BUT they have a very powerful melee attack (their fist) if you stand close to them. A good strategy is to use traps, sabotages and range weapons such as guns to kill them off.

For this trophy it is only necessary to complete the main story part of each episode, NOT the additional challenges though they will be necessary for several other trophies, explained later in this guide. However, if you wish to save time and feel confident enough, getting the ironic kill, Gear Head! (killing Fluffy with the factory's conveyor belt) and a secret trophy, Rebellion! (get the robobears to kill their master, Fluffy) can be done during this episode.

[top]
Get off my Planet!
Completed the Final Episode.

This trophy unlocks as you play your way through the story mode of the game. To achieve it, complete the seventh and final episode, When Aliens Attack.

It is a more difficult trophy to achieve as this time your foes are two-fold, the aliens who are armed with very powerful rayguns and some ninja bears that, like before, can follow you into the surrounding woodland. So long as you stay out of sight of the aliens, killing the ninjas should be your priority. After that, the aliens cab be picked off easily using standard techniques (traps, scares etc.).

For this trophy it is only necessary to complete the main story part of each episode, NOT the additional challenges though they will be necessary for several other trophies, explained later in this guide. However, if you wish to save time and feel confident enough, getting the ironic kill, Hot as the Sun! (killing Sunbeam with the campfire) and a secret trophy, Disintegration! (kill all the aliens using the raygun ultra-kill) can be done during this episode.

Shiny!
Got either 28 Bronze, 16 Silver, 8 Gold or 4 Platinum Naughty Cups.

This trophy is actually very easy to get, but could take a reasonable amount of time as you must get either 28 bronze, 16 silver, 8 gold or 4 platinum cups. Getting bronze cups is very easy but it means completing all 28 main missions and challenges. Realistically you are likely to get quite a lot of silver and gold cups along the way without really trying so you'll probably get the trophy long before the end of the game.

Throphilific!!
Got either 28 Silver, 16 Gold or 8 Platinum Naughty Cups.

This trophy is actually quite easy to get, but could take a reasonable amount of time as you must get either 28 silver, 16 gold or 8 platinum cups. Getting silver cups is fairly easy but it means completing all 28 main missions and challenges. Realistically you are likely to get several gold cups along the way without really trying so you'll probably get the trophy a little before the end of the game.

[top]
Oh my GOLD!!!
Got either 28 Gold or 16 Platinum Naughty Cups.

This trophy is actually quite difficult to get, and WILL take considerable time as you must get either 28 gold or 16 platinum cups. Getting gold cups is not extremely difficult but it means completing all 28 main missions and challenges with highly respectable scores.

Be aware that you are likely to have to go back and re-do a few of the challenges to get yourself a gold or platinum cup. This will be one of the last trophies you unlock, along with Nutter!!!!! before you get your platinum trophy.

To help you understand how close (or far) you are from achieving the necessary scores, I've put together the following chart. It is only a guideline but IS accurate to within about 25,000 naughty points.

Nutter!!!!!
Got 28 Platinum Naughty Cups.

This trophy is actually VERY difficult to get, and WILL take a huge amount of time as you must get 28 platinum cups. Getting platinum cups is very difficult on each mission and challenge AND you must complete all 28 main missions and challenges with exceptionally high scores.

Be aware that you are likely to have to go back and re-do a lot of the missions and challenges to get yourself the necessary platinum cups. This will be one of the last trophies you unlock before you get your platinum trophy.

To help you understand how close (or far) you are from achieving the necessary scores, I've put together the following chart. It is only a guideline but IS accurate to within about 25,000 naughty points.

Multi-Millionaire Club
Scored a Total of 10 000 000 Naughty Points.

This trophy is achieved by accumulating a total of at least 10,000,000 Naughty Points. As you're playing your way through the story mode you will get this trophy easily, probably after about your fifth or sixth mission (story or challenges).

Freak Club
Scored a Total of 25 000 000 Naughty Points.

This trophy is achieved by accumulating a total of at least 25,000,000 Naughty Points. As you're playing your way through the story mode you will get this trophy. Assuming you score quite well on each mission you complete, it will typically be achieved somewhere between fifteen and twenty successful missions (story or challenges).

NOTE : If you fail in any story or challenge mode you WILL NOT get the points you had accrued up to that point. They only add to your total on successful completion of a mission.

Scored a Total of 75 000 000 Naughty Points.

This trophy is achieved by accumulating a total of at least 75,000,000 Naughty Points. As you're playing your way through the story mode you will get this trophy. Assuming you score well on each mission you complete, it will typically be achieved around about the time you complete each main story mode and challenge for the first time throughout the game.

NOTE : If you fail in any story or challenge mode you WILL NOT get the points you had accrued up to that point. They only add to your total on successful completion of a mission.

Naughty Club
Scored a Total of 100 000 000 Naughty Points.

This is where the score accumulation trophies can begin to get hard.

This trophy is achieved by accumulating a total of at least 100,000,000 Naughty Points. As you play your way through the story mode and associated challenges you may possibly reach this total score anyway, depending on whether you achieved good scores in each individual challenge.

However, if you have done everything in the game and didn't get 100,000,000 points (it is likely you won't have got this many naughty points) you will need to look in the mission selection menu to see which modes/challenges you scored least on (identify any bronze cups first followed by silver cups) and replay them to accumulate a bigger score. For tips and advice on ways to improve your score, see the Oh my GOLD!!! and Nutter!!!!! sections of this guide.

NOTE : If you fail in any story or challenge mode you WILL NOT get the points you had accrued up to that point. They only add to your total on successful completion of a mission.

Naughtiest Naughty Club
Scored a Total of 250 000 000 Naughty Points.

This trophy will almost certainly be a one you have to go back after completion of the main game and work hard to achieve. It will probably be one of the last you achieve before getting your platinum trophy.

It is achieved by accumulating a total of at least 250,000,000 Naughty Points.

Assuming you've completed everything in the game and didn't get 250,000,000 points (frankly I'd be shocked if you did) you will need to look in the mission selection menu to see which modes/challenges you scored least on (identify any bronze cups first, followed by silver and gold cups) and replay them to accumulate a bigger score.

Again, Malicepoo has offered a slice of his wisdom:

Full Wardrobe
Unlocked All the Costumes.

This trophy will almost certainly be a one you have to go back after completion of the main game and work hard to achieve although you will achieve quite a lot of the costumes as you play through the story mode. It is achieved by acquiring every unlockable hat in the game, of which there's 31!

As you unlock them, take a look at the stats for each one as some costumes make the completion of missions and challenges much easier!

Outlined below is the complete list of costumes and how to get them. It is spoilered as it takes up considerable space:

Party Thrasher!
Ironic Kill: In Episode 1 or its Challenges, Punish Daddles with the Disco's Turntable!

To unlock this trophy you must carry out a specific kill type on a specific bear BUT it can be done during any mode relating to Episode 1 - the main story mode or any of the killer, insanity, friendly or top-hat challenges.

In this case, the bear to be punished is Daddles, a lime green coloured bear wearing a party hat. The simplest way to achieve the trophy is to sneak towards the front entrance to the disco and when no bears are around run inside and sabotage the turntable by pressing . Immediately then turn around and run into the patch of grass so you can watch to see who comes inside.

Eventually a bear will come along to repair it. If it happens to be another bear either run in and scare them away with the button or allow them to fix the turntable and just sabotage it all over again. If Daddles comes to fix it, run in behind him and hit to get yourself the turntable kill and achieve this trophy.

Drowning Politics!
Ironic Kill: In Episode 2 or its Challenges, Punish Chubby with the Disco's Toilet!

To unlock this trophy you must carry out a specific kill type on a specific bear BUT it can be done during any mode relating to Episode 2 - the main story mode or any of the untouchable, speed, killer or top-hat challenges.

In this case, the bear to be punished is Chubby, a brown coloured bear wearing a top hat. The simplest way to achieve the trophy is to make your way into the disco's bathroom (room on the right of the turntable area) and sabotage the toilets (there are three which hugely increases your chance of getting the trophy) by pressing . Immediately then hide in the locker in the same room.

Eventually a bear will come along to repair it. If it happens to be another bear either jump out of your hiding place and scare them away with the button or allow them to fix a toilet and just sabotage it all over again. If Chubby comes to fix it, approach behind him and hit to get yourself the toilet kill and achieve this trophy.

[top]
Watch THIS Cozy!
Ironic Kill: In Episode 3 or its Challenges, Punish Cozy with the Cabin's Telly!

To unlock this trophy you must carry out a specific kill type on a specific bear BUT it can be done during any mode relating to Episode 3 - the main story mode or any of the killer, invisible, insanity or top-hat challenges.

In this case, the bear to be punished is Cozy, a bright red bear wearing a light blue helmet. The simplest way to achieve the trophy is to make your way into the television room and sabotage all the televisions (there are three which hugely increases your chance of getting the trophy) by pressing . Immediately then, climb out of the nearby window and hide in the bushes nearby, facing the window you just came through.

Eventually a bear will come along to repair it. If it happens to be another bear either jump out of your hiding place and scare them away with the button or allow them to fix a television and just sabotage it all over again. If Cozy comes to fix it, approach behind him and hit to get yourself the television kill and achieve this trophy.

Keeping a cool head!
Ironic Kill: In Episode 4 or its Challenges, Punish Nibbles with the Cabin's Fridge!

To unlock this trophy you must carry out a specific kill type on a specific bear BUT it can be done during any mode relating to Episode 4 - the main story mode or any of the untouchable, speed, killer or top-hat challenges.

In this case, the bear to be punished is Nibbles, a turquoise bear wearing a chefs hat. The simplest way to achieve the trophy is to make your way into the kitchen (largest room in a group of three that are almost square in shape) and sabotage the refrigerator by pressing .

If Nibbles comes to fix it, approach behind him and hit to get yourself the fridge kill and achieve this trophy.

NOTE - If you're doing this trophy during the main mission mode, Nibbles almost always starts in the kitchen conveniently looking in the fridge. However, there are army bears there as well so you MUST be wearing a costume that prevents you being seen to get the trophy quickly.

[top]
Trembles' Energy Problem!
Ironic Kill: In Episode 5 or its Challenges, Punish Trembles with the Cabin's Power Box!

To unlock this trophy you must carry out a specific kill type on a specific bear BUT it can be done during any mode relating to Episode 5 - the main story mode or any of the speed, friendly, killer or top-hat challenges.

In this case, the bear to be punished is Trembles, a pale lavender coloured bear wearing a cowboy hat. The simplest way to achieve the trophy is to make your way to the corner of the wooden shack facing the car and sabotage the power box (it's on the outside and red in colour) by pressing . Immediately then, hide in the bushes nearby, facing the power box.

Eventually a bear will come along to repair it. If it happens to be another bear either jump out of your hiding place and scare them away with the button or allow them to fix a television and just sabotage it all over again. If Trembles comes to fix it, approach behind him and hit to get yourself the power box kill and achieve this trophy.

Gear Head!
Ironic Kill: In Episode 6 or its Challenges, Punish Fluffy with the Factory's Conveyor Belt!

To unlock this trophy you must carry out a specific kill type on a specific bear BUT it can be done during any mode relating to Episode 6 - the main story mode or any of the invisible, friendly, killer or top-hat challenges.

In this case, the bear to be punished is Fluffy, a purple bear wearing a construction hat. The simplest way to achieve the trophy is to make your way to the long building with the giant cooking pot in the middle. Go into the left room where you'll find two conveyor belts running. Sabotage them both by pressing . then climb out of the window and hide in the bushes nearby, facing the room.

Eventually a bear will come along to repair it. If it happens to be another bear either jump out of your hiding place and scare them away with the button or allow them to fix a television and just sabotage it all over again. If Fluffy comes to fix it, approach behind him and hit to get yourself the conveyor belt kill and achieve this trophy.

Hot as the Sun!
Ironic Kill: In Episode 7 or its Challenges, Punish Sunbeam with the Campfire!

To unlock this trophy you must carry out a specific kill type on a specific bear BUT it can be done during any mode relating to Episode 7 - the main story mode or any of the speed, killer, insanity or top-hat challenges.

In this case, the bear to be punished is Sunbeam, a yellow bear wearing an aluminium foil hat complete with red flashing light. The simplest way to achieve the trophy is to make your way to the straight to the campfire without causing any disturbances. Hide in the bushes nearby, facing the fire and wait.

Eventually a bear will come along to warm themselves on the fire. If it happens to be another bear either jump out of your hiding place and scare them away with the button or allow them to warm themselves and move on. If Sunbeam comes to use the fire, approach behind him and hit to get yourself the campfire kill and achieve this trophy.

NOTE - This trophy is only marked as being more difficult to achieve than the other ironic kills because it relies more on pure luck. Sunbeam MIGHT come along within a minute but then again may take ten or fifteen minutes to arrive.

Maximum Security
Secret Mission: In Episode 1, get the Entire Police Force on the Island.

This is a very easy trophy to achieve during the story mode in Episode 1.

In simple terms, once the bears get a bit worried they will call for help from the police so all you have to do is start scaring the hell out of all bears (hitting a lot to scream Boo! works wonders) and very quickly one or more of them will head to a telephone and call for assistance. Two police bears will come to the island. You can then set about killing all of them (normal and police bears alike) before heading through to the next area.

At this point, hunt down and kill Daddles first as the whole mission is failed if he escapes then, once again, starting randomly hitting to scare the rest of the bears into calling for backup. Once the next two police bears arrive on the island the trophy should unlock.

[top]
Harakiri
Secret Mission: In Episode 2, get the 4 Ninja-Bears to Kill Themselves.

This trophy can be achieved during the story mode of Episode 2 but is quite a tough trophy to get simply because the ninja bears can (and do) follow you into the bushes so they're hard to hide from.

However ... your first task is to sneak up on any ninja bear present and scare him with . Hopefully he'll get spooked enough early on to call for help. If not, run away then go and scare him again. Soon enough he WILL call for others to help out and some more ninja bears will arrive. This is where it really gets tricky!

Your task now is to, one by one, scare the hell out of the ninja bears forcing them to the point of suicide. Try to stick to working on one ninja bear at a time (quite hard as they all look the same) and particularly work on one that is quite separated from the rest. All being well a few quick Boo's will drive him insane.

Repeat this process with each of the other ninja bears but be sure not to hit them with any weapons as this will negate the trophy. Eventually, once all of the ninjas have gone bonkers and topped themselves the trophy should unlock.

Give me Peace!
Secret Mission: In Episode 3, Destroy Every Bird-cam of the Level.

This trophy can be achieved during the story mode of Episode 3 and is pretty easy to achieve assuming that you manage to get yourself a gun during each of the levels.

The bird-cams can be a bit tricky to spot (even though they're bright blue) and the don't often land on the ground. This is your first clue that the easiest way to kill them is to look for them on rooftops. When I did this trophy I actually carried out the normal story mission first (dealing with the bears) and afterwards picked up a gun and went bird-spotting. Without the distraction of any bears running around it doesn't take too long to find them.

In total there is one in the first section, three in the second area and three in the third so you need to kill all seven bird-cams for the trophy to unlock.

Death Race
Secret Mission: In Episode 4, don't let Zombears Kill other Bears! They're Yours!

This trophy can be achieved during the story mode of Episode 4 and is another tough cookie to beat.

By their very nature, zombears (like their human counterparts, zombies) will attack any living thing which unfortunately for you means ALL other bears. To get the trophy you must get all the bear kills and not let a zombear get a single one!

There are two possible strategies to consider here:

Strategy 1 - From the very beginning make ONLY killing the zombears your priority. Ignore all other bears, even if they take a swing at you and concentrate on getting to each zombear before it can do any damage.

Strategy 2 - Run around looking for any zombears that have attacked a normal bear. Once you find them simply join in, effectively "stealing" the kill from the zombear.

Both strategies have their advantages and disadvantages and I know players who've had success using each technique. If you try one and have no luck, try the other one and eventually you'll get the trophy to unlock.

Elite Chumps
Secret Mission: In Episode 5, Kill Every B.E.A.R with an Object Kill.

This trophy can be achieved during the story mode of Episode 5 and is easier that some of the previous secret trophies.

An Object kill refers to making all of your kills without using either handheld weapons or scare techniques. This sounds difficult but it isn't really hard to master.

In simple terms, you must use the other, fixed objects in the game for your kills. These include barbecues, power boxes, television sets, toilets, fridges, campfires etc. The best strategy is to make your way around sabotaging each and every object that can be. From here on, keep your eye on the top right of your screen as the game will show you when a bear is attempting to fix a broken device. Also, a red arrow on the ground will guide you towards them.

Simply stay out of view as much as possible and take out each bear as they go to fix all the sabotaged objects.

Rebellion
Secret Mission: In Episode 6, get the R0B0-B34RS to Kill their Master, Fluffy.

This trophy can be achieved during the story mode of Episode 6 and is marked as being more difficult as a specific costume is required, therefore a second playthrough will be necessary to go back and achieve this trophy.

While playing through the standard mission of Episode 6, you must get a high enough score to get the gold cup. Doing this will unlock the robot costume for you to wear - meaning that the robot bears think you're one of them.

Once achieved, replay the mission wearing the costume and start to attack normal bears in full view of the robot bears. They will respond by joining in with you, attacking the bears and eventually killing them, including their master, Fluffy.

Disintegration
Secret Mission: In Episode 7, Destroy Every Alien-Bear with the Raygun Ultra-Kill.

This trophy can be achieved during the story mode of Episode 7 and is not particularly difficult though using the same weapon throughout will reduce your chance of getting a very high score at the same time.

While playing through the standard mission of Episode 7, you must firstly get hold of a raygun. The easy way is to start wearing the alien costume (if you have it) otherwise look around on the map for one lying on the ground.

Once you have one you simply need to hunt down each alien and get the finishing kill using the raygun. The best way to do this is to lay beartraps on the ground and hide nearby. Let them get caught in the trap then run out and scare them with but DO NOT hit as that will kill them with a neck break and fail the mission. Once they're out of the trap they'll be badly injured and limping. You can then run up behind them and when the prompt allows hit to use the raygun and get the kill.

Twin Fight
Costume Shenanigan: Kill Cop Gordon with the Cop Gordon Costume by the Revolver Ultra-Kill.

This trophy can only be achieved by replaying Episode 1 and is marked as being more difficult as a specific costume is required, therefore getting it takes a while.

Firstly, to unlock the Cop Gordon costume you need to achieve a gold cup score on each of the Challenges 1-1, 1-2 and 1-3 (see Oh my GOLD!!! for details on the scores needed) and then go back to replay Episode 1 while wearing it. This comes equipped with a revolver gun.

Once there, stir up the bears in any way you like so they call for backup then head down towards the jetties where the boats arrive and wait nearby in the trees. In total four cop bears can come to assist so Cop Gordon could be first or last.

Once he arrives, lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the gun and get the trophy.

Chain of Command
Costume Shenanigan: Kill Colonel Ketchup with the Captain Naughty Costume by the Oozy Ultra kill.

This trophy can only be achieved by replaying Episode 3 and although a specific costume is required, it is likely you'll have got it during a standard playthrough.

If not, to unlock the Captain Naughty costume you need to achieve a bronze cup score on each of the Challenges 3-1, 3-2 and 3-3 and then go back to replay Episode 2 while wearing it. This comes equipped with the Oozy.

Once there, identify Colonel Ketchup. He's fairly easy to spot as he's the only army bear wearing a flat hat and sunglasses.

Once found, lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the Oozy and get the trophy.

Evil Resident in Bearcity
Costume Shenanigan: Kill 4 Cops in One Level with the Zombear Oodoo Costume by the Bone Ultra-Kill.

This trophy can be achieved by replaying Episode 1 and is marked as being more difficult as a specific costume is required, therefore getting it takes a while.

Firstly, to unlock the Zombear Oodoo costume you need to achieve a gold cup score on each of the Challenges 4-1, 4-2 and 4-3 (see Oh my GOLD!!! for details on the scores needed) and then go back to replay Episode 1 while wearing it. This comes equipped with the bone.

Once there, stir up the bears in any way you like so they call for backup then head down towards the jetties where the boats arrive and wait nearby in the trees. In total four cop bears will come to assist.

Once they arrive, for each one lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the bone and get the trophy. Repeat this for each cop bear.

Probing New Technologies
Costume Shenanigan: Kill R0B0-PR1M3 with the Emperor Xoon Costume by the Raygun Ultra-Kill.

This trophy can be achieved by replaying Episode 6 and is marked as being very difficult as a specific costume is required, which can only be acquired by completing all of the Episode 7 challenges.

Firstly, to unlock the Emperor Xoon costume you need to achieve a gold cup score on each of the Challenges 7-1, 7-2 and 7-3 (see Oh my GOLD!!! for details on the scores needed) and then go back to replay Episode 6 while wearing it. This comes equipped with the Galactic Raygun.

Once there, identify R0B0-PR1M3. He's fairly easy to spot as he's the only robot bear with a red visor over his eyes.

Once found, lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the Raygun and get the trophy.

Chi Vs Voodoo
Costume Shenanigan: Kill Oodoo with the Master Miyagi Costume by the Ninja-To Ultra-Kill.

This trophy can only be achieved by replaying Episode 4 and is marked as being more difficult as a specific costume is required, therefore getting it takes a while.

Firstly, to unlock the Master Miyagi costume you need to achieve a gold cup score on each of the Challenges 2-1, 2-2 and 2-3 (see Oh my GOLD!!! for details on the scores needed) and then go back to replay Episode 4 while wearing it. This comes equipped with a Ninja-to.

Once there, identify Oodoo. He's fairly easy to spot as he's the zombear wearing the strange bone and feather headdress.

Once found, lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the Ninja-to and get the trophy.

Assassin's Assassination
Costume Shenanigan: Kill Miyagi with the E.L.I.T.E. Mahoney Costume by the Silenced Pistol Ultra-Kill.

This trophy can only be achieved by replaying Episode 2 and is marked as being more difficult as a specific costume is required, therefore getting it takes a while.

Firstly, to unlock the E.L.I.T.E. Mahoney costume you need to achieve a gold cup score on each of the Challenges 5-1, 5-2 and 5-3 (see Oh my GOLD!!! for details on the scores needed) and then go back to replay Episode 2 while wearing it. This comes equipped with the silenced pistol.

Once there, identify Master Miyagi. He's fairly easy to spot as he's the ninja bear wearing the traditional oriental triangular straw hat and carrying a samurai sword.

Once found, lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the silenced pistol and get the trophy.

Noisy Vs Silent
Costume Shenanigan: Kill E.L.I.T.E. Mahoney with the R0B0-PR1M3 Costume by the Power-Fist Ultra-Kill.

This trophy can only be achieved by replaying Episode 5 and is marked as being more difficult as a specific costume is required, therefore getting it takes a while.

Firstly, to unlock the R0B0-PR1M3 costume you need to achieve a gold cup score on each of the Challenges 6-1, 6-2 and 6-3 (see Oh my GOLD!!! for details on the scores needed) and then go back to replay Episode 5 while wearing it. This comes equipped with power fist.

Once found, lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the power fist and get the trophy.

Vengeance!
Costume Shenanigan: Destroy Emperor Xoon with the Naughticorn Costume by Hornification.

This trophy can only be achieved by replaying Episode 7 and is not as difficult as some others listed earlier. You still need a specific costume but if you're at this point in the game you should easily have already unlocked the Naughticorn costume.

If somehow you haven't got the Naughticorn costume you need to achieve a total score of over 100,000,000 points. If necessary go back and replay any missions or challenges that you got poor scores on. Once unlocked, go back to replay Episode 7 while wearing it. This comes equipped with it's own unique unarmed attack called Hornification.

Once there, identify Emperor Xoon. He's fairly easy to spot as he's the alien wearing the helmet with a yellow eye shield.

Once found, lay a trap and attract him into it (standing the other side of the trap and shouting Boo! with usually works). Once he's trapped, run out and scare him with and hide until he gets out. He'll now be badly injured so simply sneak up behind him and wait for the kill prompt then hit to kill him with the Hornification attack and get the trophy.

Truly Invisible!
Challenge Challenge: Finish an Invisible Challenge Without Being Seen Once.

This trophy can realistically only be achieved by going back after you've unlocked a costume that allows you to move without being noticed. The ninja costume (see Full Wardrobe) for silent movement is a good choice.

Once you've decided on a costume, your aim is to stay in the trees as much as possible and only come out to sabotage objects when you're certain no bears are around. Then, when one comes to fix it, dash out and get behind him for the object kill.

Also, if you have a gun you can shoot bears from the safety of the long grass to get yourself some easy points while moving them away from you.

Finally, for this trophy you only need to accrue enough points to move on to the next area so don't worry about getting bronze, silver cups etc.

[top]
Fistful of Rage!
Challenge Challenge: Finish an Untouchable Challenge Without Using a Weapon.

This trophy can be done at the same time as the previous one, Truly Invisible as the same tactics should really be used here. However, some of you may choose to do it separately as it's a bit easier to get.

The only real difference is that is doesn't matter if a bear sees you at some point but once again the way to get the trophy is to go around and sabotage as many objects as you can (barbecues, power boxes, coolers etc.). Don't bother to pick up any weapons lying around and be careful not to melee attack with your fists.

Once you're done sabotaging, just wait for the bears to come to fix the devices and finish them off with an object kill.

However, only target one bear at a time and again don't attack in the presence of others as you MUST NOT get hit at all or you will fail the challenge. Once you've killed a bear, go back to the trees for safety before considering your next target.

Killin' with Style
Challenge Challenge: Finish a Killer Challenge Without Killing with a Weapon.

This trophy is very similar to the previous one, Fistful of Rage! as the same tactics should really be used here.

The only real difference is that is doesn't matter if a bear hits you at all but again the way to get the trophy is to go around and sabotage as many objects as you can (barbecues, power boxes, coolers etc.). Don't bother to pick up any weapons lying around and be careful not to melee attack with your fists.

Once you're done sabotaging, just wait for the bears to come to fix the devices and finish them off with an object kill. This trophy is very easily done on challenge 1-1.

[top]
Merciful
Challenge Challenge: Finish an Insane Challenge with Every Bear Still Alive.

This trophy is pretty easy to achieve so long as you don't get carried away and start hitting bears.

The aim is to drive all of the bears insane which is quite easily done by sabotaging objects (you should be used to this by now) but this time when they come to repair it, use to do a scare on them. Be very careful not to press or you will fail the challenge. Add a few standards Boo!'s ( again) to this and you'll quickly drive the bears insane.

An insane bear is easy to spot as he will have the appearance of small white bubbles around his head. When you've driven a bear insane, leave it alone and work on the others until you've got them all mad.

[top]
Trap-tacular!
Challenge Challenge: In a Friendly Challenge, injure every Bear.

This trophy is another fairly easy trophy to achieve and is best done using challenge 1-2.

The easiest way to make a bear injured (limping instead of walking or running) is to trap them then scare them. Therefore your priority is to find a beartrap as early as possible and then lay it in a place near to a bear. Stand on the other side of the trap and hit to shout Boo! As soon as he hears this he'll run towards you, straight into the trap.

Once the bear is trapped, go behind him and use again for a super scare. You will now find that when he gets out of the trap he's seriously injured. Repeat this process with all the other bears but be careful not to hit any of them at any point.

[top]
Tight One!
Challenge Challenge: Finish a Speedrun Challenge with 1 Second Left to the Timer.

This trophy is actually far easier to do than it sounds.

The simplest way to achieve it is to do any speed challenge in the normal manner, working your way to the last section. Once here, again kill bears as you normally do in any way you like but once the timer gets down to the last 30 seconds or so head to the door and stand next to it so that the option to go through, is lit up.

Watch the clock carefully and as soon as it hits 1 second, press to finish the speed level with only 1 second left and unlock the trophy.

Leader of the Pack
Multiplayer Madness: Finished First in a Multiplayer Match and Shouted: "HAZELNUT!" at the Losers.

This trophy can, and should, be done in conjunction with the other multiplayer one, Gloriosity!. In essence you simply need to find another online player and beat them in the online game which basically involves you destroying their statues. The trophy title is a little misleading as you don't actually have to shout anything to get it to unlock - just win.

The simplest way to do this (and the reason I gave it a very low difficulty) is because you can easily find a boost partner by visiting the relevant thread, here:

http://www.ps3trophies.com/forums/na...ng-thread.html

Once you have yourself a boosting partner, simply agree who will win first and then do the decent thing and let your partner win so you both get two easy trophies. When it's your turn to lose, just stand there and do absolutely nothing so that your partner can get both trophies at once.

Gloriosity!
Multiplayer Madness: Finished an Assault Match Without Losing a Single Unibear Statue.

See Leader of the Pack above.

[top]
Unibear!
Killed or POP! a Unibear.

In many respects this ought not to be a difficult trophy to achieve. After all you simply have to kill any Unibear that appears during the game. However, they only appear very rarely!

When a Unibear appears, you will receive an on-screen alert informing you of its arrival. As Unibears only stick around for about 10 seconds it is essential that you stop whatever you were doing and try to get the Unibear as fast as you can until you have the trophy unlocked.

Assuming you catch up with one of these rare bears, you can either kill it with whatever weapon you're holding at the time or "Pop!" it, which basically means scare it to death.

Once again, Malicepoo has helped out here:
