[top]Tips & Strategies

Maximizing Your Kizuna Rush:
  • It's easy to think the best method for earning "!" KO's is to fill a Crew members Kizuna gauge use it and then finish with a Special Kizuna Attack, but this is not always the case.
  • By pressing during a Kizuna Rush you can turn off the Rush without resetting your Crew members gauge to 1.
  • This means it will take you less time to refill the gauge and basic Kizuna attacks will be available to you without refilling the first bar of the gauge.
  • You can also start combos away from enemies, strictly for the purpose of getting to the point where you call in your Crew member for an attack.
Sanji has a problem with the Ladies:
  • If you try to pick Sanji in a level where a female enemy may be run into a message will come up warning you that Sanji cannot attack female characters.
  • This is almost true, Sanji can attack them, he just can't damage them.
  • If you use Sanji on these leaves you have to use Kizuna attacks and Rushes to hurt these characters, however even your Kizuna will be at half power since Sanji will just throw up his hands and spin in circles.
  • So as much as it may pain you if your a Sanji fan he may not be your best bet.
Breaking Guards:
  • Your dash action, done by pressing , has functions other than just getting you out of the way of an attack.
  • For example, when a Strong Enemy cross their arms in front of themselves a silverish glow will appear in front of them to show they are blocking. Attacking them during this and they will break your combo stunning you.
  • However, if you dash out of your combo and hit them head on you can cause them to drop their guard and at times a stun sign will then appear over their head and you can attack to stun them instead.
  • You can also use the dash to immediately begin running.

[top]Roadmap

- Step 1. Set sail and play through the Legend Log.
  • The first thing you want to do is head out to sea with the Straw Hats and experience their legendary story.
  • You can play through on Normal or if you want a bit more challenge and want to knock it out early, try the Hard difficulties. The difference in challenge is not much, so either one will work for your maiden voyage (though you do get more Beli on Hard.)
  • Play the Episodes and try to complete all the Treasure Events you can, while noting the ones you need to go back to.
- Step 2. Explore and Conquer the Dream Log
  • Now that you've got your feet wet and few extra characters to trade off being, go explore the Dream Log.
  • You can use Beli to level up weaker characters if you need/ want to for use on harder islands or just move around to the different scenarios.
  • Aim to S-Rank every island and if you don't then replay it for the experience to you and your Crew members, they'll need it later.
- Step 3. Clean up and/ or Nightmare Log
  • Once you're done with the Legend Log and Dream Log you will have completed all the required game modes, but there is a third mode that becomes available after clearing the Dream Log.
  • Nightmare Log is significantly harder than the Dream Log, as all the islands now have a Level recommendation of 100 and Bounties jump to 105.
  • If you need to earn some Crew experience you can replay Dream Log islands or try these harder locales for a small experience bump.
  • Also head back to the Legend Log and clean up any Treasure events or Hard difficulty play through if you didn't do them in Step 1.
- Step 4 Enjoy your new Platinum trophy.

Episode 1: ROMANCE DAWN

Legend Diary: MinimumRuns 1

-Complete ROMANCE DAWN.
-Receive an S-Rank for KO's, "!" KO's, Completion time, and overall evaluation.
-Complete all treasure events (2).
Treasure Event 1. Defeat all the Marine Captains before they can reach Nami.
  • Shortly after you rescue Zoro, or before if you take too long, a message will appear notifying you that Nami is sneaking around stealing the Marines' treasure.
  • A couple of Captains will then spawn to investigate (you will know which ones they are by the ? over them on the map).
  • Race over and defeat these Captains before they get close to Nami to activate this event.
Treasure Event 2. Destroy all the Morgan Statues.
  • The statues are located in a room in the northwest (upper left) corner of the map.
  • They are mostly in pairs of two except for a single statue just by the entrance to the room.
  • When you hit them you will know they have been destroyed by a small cloud of smoke appearing.
  • Destroy all 13 statues to activate the event.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty
-Get 600 "!" KO's in this Episode.
  • Try to limit the number of territories you take control of before rescuing Zoro to leave more enemies for trying to achieve this on such a small level.
-Defeat Morgan using a Special Kizuna Attack.
  • Before going to face Morgan at the end of the battle make sure that Zoro's Kizuna gauge is full.
  • Beat on Morgan until his life is below 25%, then activate your Kizuna Rush with Zoro.
  • The lower Morgan's health the better your chance of success is.
  • Once the Kizuna Rush is activate, press to activate your Kizuna Special Attack.

Let's go! "The Grand Line"!
Complete the First Chapter of the Legend Log.

The First Chapter of the Legend Log contains five Episodes and covers the Crew's first Pirate encounter through their first meeting with the Marines.

Episode 1: Buggy the Clown
Legend Diary: Minimum Runs 2
-Complete Buggy the Clown
-Receive an S-Rank for KO's, "!" KO's, Completion time, and overall evaluation.
-Complete all treasure events (2).
Treasure Event 1. Use Zoro to quickly gain control of enemy territory, without taking (any) damage.
  • This is the slightly harder of the two Treasure events for this Episode.
  • While playing as Zoro you need to take control of the Evacuation Shelter, East Artillery Square, and Front of Pet Shop without taking any damage.
  • For the most part as long as you are aggressive the basic enemies should not pose an issue, though watch your back to be sure.
  • The Pirate Captains and Territory Leaders may be a little harder to dodge as they can strike through your attack, if this is an issue use Zoro's combo to perform the Raven Nest and get above ground where they can't touch you.
  • Avoid Alvida until after the Treasure event has happened just to be safe.
Treasure Event 2. Use Luffy to track down Buggy without leaving allies in a tight spot.
  • You must be playing as Luffy.
  • After defeating Alvida for the second time and removing her Hero buff, Buggy will order an all out attack and open the gate to his location.
  • Before advancing on to finish Buggy off make sure Nami and Zoro are in allied occupied territories and there are no enemies advancing toward them.
  • Once they are safe proceed to Buggy and the Treasure event will occur just after you start fighting.
-Complete this Episode on Hard Difficulty.
-Defeat Buggy using a Special Kizuna attack.
-Clear the Episode without any of the Villagers Fleeing.
  • As soon as this Episode starts run straight ahead to the enemy occupied territory called "Evacuation Shelter".
  • Assist the Villagers in capturing the territory and Buggy will begin a cannon barrage on it.
  • Quickly move to capture the "East Artillery Square" (north/ up from first square) and the "Front of Pet Shop" (southwest/ down and to the left of Evacuation Shelter).
  • Watch the mini map to keep tabs on the villagers and if any say "Attempting to Flee" run over and enter the green circle around them to restore their life.
  • Finally Alvida will appear from the south with two Pirate Captains from the north, all will start advancing on the Evacuation Shelter. Defeat them and the Villagers will be out of trouble for the rest of the Episode.

Episode 2: Captain Kuro of the Thousand Plans
Legend Diary: Minimum Runs 1
-Complete Captain Kuro of the Thousand Plans
-Receive an S-Rank for KO's, "!" KO's, Completion time, and overall evaluation.
-Complete all Treasure events (2).
Treasure event 1. Battle Kuro with Usopp.
  • This description is a little misleading, you CAN NOT be Usopp for this event.
  • You can be anyone else.
  • When Kuro appears in the village find Usopp and wait for him to engage Kuro before you join the fight.
  • Once you and Usopp are fighting the Treasure scene will occur.
Treasure event 2. Perform Usopp's Strategy Successfully.
  • You need to do two things to ensure Usopp's Strategy is successful.
  • Keep the enemy from entering the Village and make sure Usopp reaches whatever location he is heading for.
  • Simply beat back the enemies and if you see a cluster in his path go clear them out. Usopp will do the rest of the work.
-Complete this Episode on Hard Difficulty
-Defeat Kuro using a Special Kizuna Attack
-Clear the Stage without a Villager fleeing
  • Unlike the previous Episode the Villagers in this Episode will be engaged in combat in some small part for most of the battle.
  • The best thing you can do here is keep an eye on the mini map and periodically check the Army Info tab of the pause screen to see if they need assistance.
  • Just like before if you see a message they are "Attempting to Flee", find the Villager in peril and tag his green circle to boost his health and fill you Kizuna gauge.

Episode 3: The Don's Offer
Legend Diary: Minimum Runs 1
-Complete "The Don's Offer"
-Receive an S-Rank for KO's, "!" KO's, Completion time, and overall evaluation.
-Complete all Treasure events (3).
Treasure event 1. Stop Don Krieg's first attack
  • After you defeat the first waves of enemies Don Krieg will order in reinforcements, as well as himself to attack.
  • Defeat him before he chooses to fall back to unlock this Treasure scene.
Treasure event 2. Defeat Mihawk
  • See Legend Diary note about Mihawk below.
Treasure event 3. Initiate Sanji's Strategy without losing control of territory.
  • From the beginning of this battle you will see three territories with ? on them.
  • Your job is to protect these three locations from the enemy while advancing toward Don Krieg.
  • If anyone moves into them clear them out, then once it is safe start clearing out enemy territories.
  • Once you have engaged Don Krieg he will retreat and start a poison barrage, hurry to engage him once more and stop the barrage.
  • If the three territories are under your control at this point the Treasure scene will occur.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Don Krieg with a Special Kizuna Attack.
-Defeat Mihawk
  • Early during this Episode Mihawk will begin to advance.
  • If you are not playing as Zoro (Zoro is only available for this Episode in Free Log), then Zoro will go to engage Mihawk.
  • If you are trying to defeat Mihawk you need to get to him before he fights Zoro.
  • Once he engages Zoro for a bit a cut scene will happen in which Zoro loses to Mihawk, Zoro and Mihawk will both retreat following this event. Mihawk will reappear to complete this scene if he is defeated before it happens.

Episode 4: Arlong Park
Legend Diary: Minimum Runs 2
-Complete "Arlong Park"
-Receive an S-Rank for KO's, "!" KO's, Completion time, and overall evaluation.
-Complete All Treasure events.(4)
Treasure event 1. Use Sanji to perform the first strategy within the time limit.
  • You must be playing as Sanji for this event.
  • The first strategy is to eliminate three Fishmen Captain's advancing on the Villager's.
  • The game does not specifiy how long the time limit is for accomplishing but the question marks will disappear off the Captain's should you take to long (they disappeared after one minute thirty seconds).
Treasure event 2. Protect all the villagers.
  • See last Legend Diary note for this Episode.
Treasure event 3. Use Zoro to defeat Hatchan twice.
  • You must be playing as Zoro to complete this event.
  • Hatchan will first begin to advance shortly after you begin to institute Nami's plan to take the enemy territories on land from behind.
  • You will need to capture the Guardhouse first and upon doing so Hatchan will head that way to confront your army.
  • After you defeat him here he will retreat and respawn once you have destroyed the three switches that open the way to Arlong.
  • He will appear in the West Central Canal Fort upon your arrival there.
  • Defeat him again to advance and complete the event.
Treasure event 4. Track down Arlong without any of the Straw Hat Pirates fleeing.
  • This is much like the Villagers event, you do not need to hover over any of the Straw Hats, just be proactive in keeping an eye on the mini map for flee messages.
  • If you see one of the Straw Hats moving toward a larger group of enemies it may be wise to dash over and assist them in whittling their numbers down.
  • The event will occur once Arlong's middle health bar falls.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Arlong using a Special Kizuna Attack.
-Clear stage without a Villager fleeing.
  • Much like Episode of 2 for this Chapter the Villagers appear from the beginning of the fight and stay near the top of the map where the battle starts.
  • Once again this comes down to being proactive about clearing out enemies, especially big mobs with Captains and watching for the "Attempting to Flee" message.
  • As long as you keep an eye on the action going on up top and come back to help them clear out when reinforcements drop in you shouldn't have much trouble here.

Episode 5: The Legends Begins

Legend Diary: Minimum Runs 2
-Complete "The Legend Begins."
-Receive an S-Rank for KO's, "!" KO's, Completion time, and overall evaluation.
-Complete all Treasure Events. (3)
Treasure event 1. Use Zoro to battle Tashigi.
  • You must be playing as Zoro.
  • When Tashigi appears in the northeast corner of the map move up and confront her.
  • The scene will occur mid battle.

Treasure event 2. Use Luffy to battle Alvida
  • You must be playing as Luffy.
  • About halfway through the stage Buggy and Crew will arrive to join the fray, Alvida will be with him.
  • She appears at the south end of the map and Sanji will head that way to aid her (because that's what Sanji does).
  • Run down and beat Alvida for the event and so she doesn't attack Sanji.

Treasure event 3. Destroy the lightning rod, and block Buggy's progress.
  • This is misleading, there are actually three lightning rods for you to dispose off.
  • One in the middle of the map and two off to the eastern side.
  • Attack them and they will disappear in a puff of smoke.
  • When Buggy appears the lightning rods will become vulnerable and ? will appear on them.
  • When the ? appear on them destroy all three to see a scene where Buggy and his Crew decide to take the long way around to avoid getting zapped.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Tashigi with a Special Kizuna Attack
  • Note that Tashigi is NOT the boss of this battle, as such she is weaker and only has the single health bar.
  • This means it is easier to KO her, so make sure not to KO her early before you can hit the Kizuna attack.
  • You can activate Kizuna Rush once you start to face her, weaken her through that and then fire off the Special Attack just as the bar is nearing depletion for a solid chance at finishing her off here.
-Defeat Smoker with a Special Kizuna Attack

-Complete all Treasure Events. (2)
Treasure event 1. Use Luffy to battle Wapol within the time limit.
  • You must be playing as Luffy.
  • This first event is really dependent on how fast you take care of the first few parts of this battle.
  • As soon as the battle starts, deal with the four Pirate Captains advancing just north of your starting location.
  • Immediately after swing south and take out the two Captains there.
  • Now head back to Drum Castle and defeat the Lapahn quickly.
  • Finally move to the northwest corner of the map and wait for Wapol to call for the advance.
  • Capture the territory that opens and move south capturing each territory along the west side of the map, this will open a path to Wapol.
  • You have close to ten minutes to accomplish this before he moves away, so there is not a huge rush but don't waste too much time.

Treasure event 2. Protect all the Lapahn.
  • After you defeat the first Lapahn, Chopper will convince them to assist you.
  • They will appear on the west side of the map and help open a path to Wapol if you are not taking over the territories fast enough.

-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty
-Defeat Wapol with a Special Kizuna Attack
-Clear the stage without a Villager fleeing.
  • By this stage this is probably second nature to you.
  • The Villagers will appear as soldiers to help you in your fight against Wapol from the start of the battle.
  • Check the pause screen and watch for notifications when they are in trouble or need aid and move to assist them.
  • On the up side these Villagers are a little heartier than some before and can take a fair bit of fighting, just back them up when they need it.

  • Take over any one of the territories and when the gates open ignore the Mission to capture the other two and make a beeline for Miss All Sunday in the northeast/ upper left corner of the map.

  • Take up her idea and rush to deal with them quickly, the scene will occur after.

Treasure event 2. Defeat the mysterious intruders.
  • The mysterious intruders in question are Burgess and Marshall D. Teach.
  • They will arrive just after you have proven your strength to Bellamy's men and they retreat to find him.
  • Teach and Burgess will spawn with their crew to the lower southeast side of the map.
  • To clear this event you must be both Teach and Burgess, and to do this YOU MUST beat Teach first.
  • If you beat Burgess first Teach will retreat without the scene occurring.

  • This is not a hard number of Kizuna KO's to achieve and is easily reachable while going for the S-Rank.
  • Limit the number of Special attacks you use, non Kizuna Specials just kill lots of enemies you could use other ways.
  • Limit Kizuna Specials, instead leave the Kizuna Rush going till the bar nearly depletes then press to turn off the Rush and save the Kizuna gauge for that crew member so you don't have to work as hard to refill it.
-Defeat Bellamy with a Special Kizuna Attack

  • From here take the passage leading directly to the middle of the map where Robin is about to be ambushed.
  • Help Robin fend off the Sky Captain then immediately head back to Chopper before hooking down and around to the first passage below the Alter where Nami and Sanji are also being attacked (Nami's attackers appear after Robin's so you can't deal with them first).
  • Though no official timer shows up you have about a minute before the ? disappear.
Treasure event 2.Defeat all the Sky Captains attacking the Going Merry within the time limit.
  • This event occurs just after Nami, Robin, and Chopper begin heading out to look for the City of Gold.
  • Eneru will appear on the map and then order an attack on the Sacrificial Alter.
  • At this point 2 Sky Captains will appear, one from the north and one from the south each advancing toward the alter.
  • You need to move fast and defeat both in less than a minute. Once the ? disappear over the Captains time is up.
Treasure event 3. Block Eneru's actions and track him down.
  • This event occurs after the Straw Hats reach the Ruins and a cutscene occurs showing Eneru powering the Mamragan.
  • Eneru will appear either north of the Ruins, south of the Ruins, or in the middle of the map.
  • Wherever he is, you need to get to quickly, and defeat him before he has a chance to fire at the Straw Hats attempting to flee to the Going Merry.

-Complete this Episode as Luffy
-Clear the Episode without the Engineers calling reinforcements.
  • It says Engineers, but this is really the Workers, and this piece has two parts.
  • First, while you try to take control of the front of Iceburg's Mansion the enemies will begin commenting on how strong the Crew and will attempt to send a Messenger for reinforcements. Take out the Messenger each time he appears.

  • Defeat the five Captains before the conversation about naming the ship finishes and you will have time to spare.
Treasure event 2. Defeat Aokiji
  • A bit of fair warning here, the first time going through this (especially if you're playing on Hard difficulty) Aokiji is tough.
  • He takes little damage at times, but dishes it out well.
  • Dash, dodge, and make liberal uses of Specials and Kizuna against him.
  • Aokiji will appear as Usopp is advancing toward the Crew.
  • Aokiji makes a large sweeping advance over the battlefield, so he's easy to avoid if you choose to.
  • If you do go after him remember to watch out for your Crew and Derelict Island, as you don't want to lose either of them while off fighting.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Clear the stage without the Panty Thief getting away
  • Actually you want the Panty Thief to get away, or at least to get away from Franky.
  • Once the Thief appears you need to protect him and clear a path so he can make his way to the Straw Hats ship.
  • You'll also have to fend off Franky a few times.
  • If the Panty Thief does die it's okay, as he'll just pass Franky's briefs to another member of the family, but you want only one guy to make the whole run for this one to be yours.
-Defeat Coby twice.
  • The first time Coby appears it will be in the South as ??? (You will discover ??? is Coby upon arriving), head down and knock him out on your way to stop Garp's barrage.

  • If no ? appears as you get to him you took too long and a Captain has already fled.

Treasure event 2. Use Brook to unify the Crew without leaving anyone in a pinch and battle Oars.
  • You must be playing as Brook.
  • This is a little tricky since you cannot see where you are on the map while trying to locate the members of your Crew.
  • When the level starts it will be you and Luffy together.
  • First thing to do is turn left and eliminate the Zombie Captain ahead of you, then keep going forward to find Robin.
  • After rescuing Robin take out the two Zombie Captains that appear behind you, then go through the gate to the right of where Robin was standing.
  • Defeat Moria's doppleman to advance.
  • Once the gate opens go through and turn left to find Zoro.
  • Then turn back around and go back following the curve of the path to find Sanji.
  • Directly in front of Sanji is another gate, go through it to find Usopp.
  • At this point Perona will mention going after Chopper, who is up ahead.
  • From Usopp go through the gate on your right then hook around the wall and go straight ahead to find Franky.
  • From Franky turn right and kill the Zombie Captains advancing on Chopper. Needless to say Chopper is standing right in front of you.
  • Now turn right to find Luffy fight Perona and her Zombies, help him defeat them and you're free of the maze.
  • Nami is not in the forest maze.
  • Now just follow the gameplay of the level until you face Oars while protecting the Sappers and the event will occur after.
  • Note: If there is no ? on Oars you missed someone in the maze and need to restart for this event.
Treasure event 3. Defeat Kuma
  • Just after you help Franky reconstruct the bridge Perona and Nami (there she is) will appear in the northwest corner talking about treasure.
  • Defeat Perona and a scene will play out where Kuma arrives.
  • He drops in right where Perona spawned.
  • Kuma is pretty easy to defeat as he has the the weaker one full health bar, but he does have a lot of ranged and close attacks that can disrupt your combo attempts so try to get around behind him for a better chance to attack him.
Treasure event 4. Block Moria's Strategy.
  • The strategy here is referring to finding the real Moria as opposed to one of his Dopplemen.
  • After you take care of Kuma go up the stairs right next to the territory he spawned in.
  • Oars will drop in just to your right.
  • Go defeat him and Moria's dopples will spawn.
  • Continue down the path you were on to get to Oars and defeat the dopple Moria there, this is the real Moria and will unlock the scene.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Moria using a Special Kizuna attack.
-Clear the Stage without the Pirate Captains or Engineers fleeing.
  • You'll encounter the Pirate Captains just after finding Robin in the maze to begin the stage.
  • The Engineers (Sappers) show up to help you rebuild the bridge once Oars destroys it.
  • There is no trick here, just keep these guys alive.
  • When fighting Oars along the Sappers path use Special Attacks to take him down quickly, before he can hurt them and watch that they don't get swarmed by enemies or Moria's clones later on.

Treasure event 1. Use Nami to defeat all the Marine Captains within the time limit.
  • Play as Nami.
  • This is right at the very beginning of the battle.
  • There are six Captains right around your starting area.
  • Take'em out quick and the scene will appear right after.
  • You have plenty of time to do, as I was able to stand around and let Luffy and Law defeat them and the ? were still there.

Treasure event 2. Defeat Kizaru and Sentomaru before they rendezvous.
  • Kizaru and Sentomaru appear after the Pacifistas start appearing.
  • Kizaru appears on the east side of the map, while Sentomaru appears in the middle of the map (you only need to defeat one of them for the scene).
  • At this point neither of them is very hard to take down, so you just need to dash over and defeat one then run over and defeat the other.
  • If you're worried about them reaching each other take over a few of the territories between them and it will slow down their movement toward each other.

Treasure event 3. Help Law's strategy succeed within the time limit.
  • Near the end of the battle, Law will return just as two Pacifistas show up to block you from reaching the exit.
  • You need to lure the Pacifistas to the West Robber Woods and then defeat them, so Law and remove them to to far side of the map.
  • This only becomes difficult if you wait to long to go get the Pacifistas and they begin following around other Crew members, then you'll have to force them to pay attention to you and might accidentally KO them forcing for you to wait for them to reactivate.
-Complete the Episode of Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Kizaru using a Special Kizuna Attack.
-Clear stage with Law maintaining a certain amount of life.
  • Law appears twice in this Episode.
  • He first appears at the start of the Episode and will retreat after the Pirate Captains around you have been KO'ed.
  • The second time he appears is near the end of the battle when he shows up help you deal with some Pacifistas.
  • In both occasions just stay near Law till he completes whatever task he's there for.
  • Take out the enemies around him quickly and he won't take much damage.
  • You need him to stay over 75% health, which is a little hard to see on his health bar but this is really isn't difficult if you just act as his bodyguard.

Episode 2:The Underwater Prison Impel Down

-Receive an S-Rank for KO's, "!" KO's, Completion time, and overall evaluation.

Treasure event 1. Use Ivankov to approach Crocodile while he's battling Minotaurus.
  • You need to be Ivankov.
  • This is near the start of the battle.
  • You will reach a door barring your advance, Ivankov will suggest getting someone stronger to open it, namely Crocodile- who at this point is fighting Minotaururs.
  • Head over to help Crocodile and the scene will appear.

Treasure event 2. Quickly gain control of territory captured by Mr. 1.
  • This is a little misleading, what you actually need to do is take over the territory that Mr. 1 is captured in so he joins your Crew.
  • Once Crocodile is with you use his power to break through the door to Level 4 and then head southwest to find another door Crocodile can smash.
  • Open this and pass through the hall to the Punishment Chamber.
  • Liberate this territory and eventually Crocodile will make his way over here to activate this scene.
Treasure event 3. Release all the prisoners.
  • After Crocodile helps you get through the first door, Buggy and Mr. 3 will show up and suggest freeing the prisoners to help distract the guards.
  • To do this just go with Buggy whenever he moves to free the prisoners, defeat the Captains guarding them to get the keys or wait for Mr. 3 to use his wax powers to create a key and free the prisoners.

Treasure event 4. Gain control of the Control Room faster than Mr. 2's strategy.
  • After you clear the area with Hannyabal, Teach, and Burgess you will reconnect with Ivankov and Mr. 2.
  • Mr.2 will then take on the form of Magellan and head for a control room.
  • Ivankov will suggest another path through a door Crocodile can open.
  • Open the door and advance to the territory down that path.
  • Liberate the territory before Mr. 2 can take control of the other control room and the scene will unfold.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Magellan with a Special Kizuna attack.
-Defeat Minotaurus four times
  • This is easy to miss if you forget to keep going back for him.
  • Once Minotaurus spawns he'll head straight for Crocodile, so go help him.
  • Once you defeat him he will stay where he is till he recovers and begins advancing again, go defeat him again.
  • Once you get to where Mr. 3 is trying to hold Magellan back you need to make sure to fall back and help him, as well as take out Minotaurus once he wakes up.
  • The big one here is to make sure you have defeated Minotaurus four times BEFORE you start the final advance at the top of the map.

Treasure event 1. Use Ivankov to defeat Kuma.
  • You need to playthrough as Ivankov and use him to confront Kuma.
Treasure event 2. Use Luffy to battle Smoker after getting close to Hancock.
  • You need to playthrough as Luffy.

  • After she leaves go find Smoker and the scene will play out after he takes about 25-50% damage.
Treasure event 3. Use Buggy to battle Mihawk.
  • You need to playthrough as Buggy and confront and defeat Mihawk.
Treasure event 4. Use Jimbei to defeat Moria.
  • You need to playthrough as Jimbei and confront and defeat Moria.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Kuzan using a Special Kizuna Attack.
-Defeat all strong enemies.
  • The strong enemies are all the named characters on the opposing side, Moria, Hancock, Smoker, etc.
  • The only condition here is you CANNOT play as Luffy to achieve this, the reason is because when you approach Hancock to fight her she will retreat as opposed to fighting Luffy.
  • If any of the named enemies retreat without you facing them you will need to restart the battle and try again.

Episode 4:The War's Conclusion
A Note about this Episode: This is one of the more difficult Episode to manage your way around, especially at harder difficulties, mainly because when you are dropped in the battle is already in full swing. More than any other Episode before and almost any after (except the final Episode) it is important to keep an eye on the map to see when your allies may need you to assist them. This Episode is about moving quickly and defusing situations before allies get trapped in places you can't save them from.

Treasure event 1. Use Hancock to battle Sentomaru.
  • You need to play as Hancock.
  • The event will occur just after you start doing damage to Sentomaru.
  • He's in the territory alone on the west side of the map.

Treasure event 2. Defeat Doflamingo.
  • From where you start in this battle Doflamingo is just ahead of you through the archway to the far right.
  • Once you approach him the ? icon will appear to prompt a treasure event.
  • Then it is just a matter of taking him down for the scene to occur.
  • If Crocodile flees before you defeat Doflamingo this scene cannot be unlocked.

Treasure event 3. Defeat the Marine reinforcements attacking Whitebeard.
  • When you approach Whitebeard he will be in the middle of a battle with Akainu.
  • Upon your arrival Akainu will beat a quick retreat and order his men to defeat Whitebeard.
  • At this point a group of Marines will drop in with four captains among them.
  • Defeat the Captains to unlock the scene.
  • If you do not approach Akainu he will eventually retreat on his own and the same events will occur.

Treasure event 4. Defeat Garp within the time limit.
  • This is one of the easiest treasure events to miss because the time limit on it is very strict.
  • You have less than five minutes from the START OF THE BATTLE to pull this off.
  • As soon as the battle starts charge forward to the gate Coby is guarding at the top of the map.
  • Defeat Coby and the Marine Captains with him to open the gate.
  • As soon as it opens dash through and up the steps to get to the area called Front of Gallows.
  • Capture this area and Garp will drop in.
  • If a ? appears on him you still have time to defeat him for the event.
  • If no ? appears or it disappears mid fight you took to long and have to restart.
  • When going for this event ignore everything else in you path UNLESS Whitebeard is attempting to flee.
Treasure event 5. Defeat all the Marine reinforcements gathered in front of the gallows.
  • After you rescue Ace pretty much all Hell breaks loose.
  • After Moria arrives and Sengoku orders a full attack a scene will play with Whitebeard issuing a final order to his men.
  • After this the ? will appear indicating you need to defeat the five Marine Captains advancing from the southwest and capture the Central Square territory.
  • Once you do all this the treasure scene will play out.

Treasure event 6. Defeat Sentomaru as he heads to the escape point within the time limit.
  • For this event to occur you cannot be playing as Luffy.
  • Once Luffy defeats Akainu this battle ends for him, but if you are playing as someone other than Luffy or Ace the battle continues.
  • With Akainu down Kizaru, Sentomaru, and the Pacifista will reappear on the battlefield.
  • From where you fought Akainu turn around and head south to find Sentomaru and the Pacifista, defeat them quickly and the scene will play out.
  • The ? on Sentomaru won't even appear till after Kizaru starts his laser attack so you have a little time to get to him.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Akainu with a Special Kizuna attack.
-Defeat all the strong enemies.
  • Just like in Episode 3 this refers to every named character on the opposing side of the battle.
  • This does not mean you need to defeat every enemy commander just the named characters.
  • Doflamingo, Sentomaru, Coby Garp, Akainu, Moria, Aokiji, Kizaru.

Treasure event 1. Reach the Thousand Sunny with Nami, without letting Sanji get petrified once.
  • While you are trying to get all the Crew back together at the ship Nami will appear to make her way there.
  • Join up with her and clear her a path so she moves forward before Sanji can met up with her.
  • There is a group of two Captains who will attempt to ambush Nami along the path, other than that is it fairly straightforward.
  • If Sanji does he will turn temporarily to stone.
  • After Nami arrives Sanji will go after Robin before finally heading for the ship and turning to stone no matter what.

Treasure event 2. Evacute all the battleships before the battleship bombardment begins.
  • This event occurs after the Thousand Sunny has begun moving to the opposite shore to pick up Zoro and Brook.
  • You will need to split time defending the South Inlet where Zoro is and opening up a path for Hancock to progress toward the two ship icons on the east side of the map.
  • Once she reaches each one she will convince them to set sail away from the island thus stopping them from joining the bombardment.
Treasure event 3. Defeat all the Pacifista.
  • This event occurs during the boss battle with Sentomaru and is very easy to miss.
  • Sentomaru appears with three Pacifistas.
  • Defeat the three Pacifistas first to trigger the event.
  • If you happen to defeat Sentomaru first, the Episode ends and you cannot go after the Pacifistas.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Sentomaru with a Special Kizuna Attack.
-Clear the Episode with Hancock of Perona fleeing.
  • Perona appears just as the battle begins chasing Chopper.
  • You need to defeat her to save Chopper, but after that she will join up to help you fight.
  • Hancock will appear just after Sanji to help you.
  • To accomplish this treat them just like any member of the Crew you don't want to see flee, watch for them to be in trouble and move to assist them when needed.

Treasure event 1. Capture the territories and block the enemy strategy.
  • Shortly after reuniting with the Crew you will enter the main plaza of this map.
  • To the east two territories will be marked with ? indicating they need to be taken over to activate this scene, and the next one.
  • The Northwest Fort Square will activate this scene.

Treasure event 2. Capture the territories and block the enemy strategy.
  • See Treasure event 1.
  • For this scene capture the Southeast Fort Square.
Treasure event 3. Battle Hody without any of the fishmen fleeing.
  • As the events of Treasure events 1 & 2 are going on you will notice four Fishmen in the main square with you.
  • These guys must stay alive until you confront Hody in the final battle of the Episode.
  • Watch for them attempting to flee, take out the Captains and mobs around them and make sure they don't get cornered and you should be okay.

Treasure event 4. Capture the territories and block the enemy strategy.
  • Much like Treasure events 1 & 2 this event and event 5 are linked.
  • Once Hody moves to the upper northeast corner of the map two territories will open up to replenish his ES one in the north and one in the south, for this event take control of the territory in the north.

Treasure event 5. Capture the territories and block the enemy strategy.
  • See Treasure event 4.
  • This event relates to you capturing the territory in the south.

Treasure event 6. Battle Hody without replenishing ES once.
  • This event is all about taking over areas quickly and making your way to Hody as fast as possible.
  • Once Hody retreats to the northeast for the final fight he will call to his allies to bring him ES, which allows him to keep using Water Shot over the map.
  • Unless you have a second player and both go different ways there is no way for you to take out the Transport Commanders from the north and east before one reaches Hody.
  • So you need to get to Hody first.
  • Breakthrough the enemy territory on the east side of the map near where an ! has pooped up.
  • Once you take over the territory destroy the switch the ! is marking, this will open a path to Hody.
  • Book it to him before the Transport Commanders reach his area and the scene will play out.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty.
-Defeat Hody using a Special Kizuna Attack.
-Clear by escaping from Ryugu Palace on your own.
  • For this event you must be playing as Zoro, Usopp, or Brook.
  • Instead of starting the battle in the normal spawn point you will start captured by the enemy in the northeast corner of the map.
  • Defeat the enemies around you and force them to release you BEFORE the Crew can mount a rescue to clear this.
  • You'll know you did it when you join with the Crew and Luffy remarks about you escaping on your own.

Treasure event 1. Rescue Sanji before defeating Vergo.
  • At the beginning of the battle Sanji is trapped in a room to the south.
  • Second Laboratory and capture it to free Sanji.
  • After doing this you can head east to rescue your other allies and Vergo will appear unless someone has already spawned him.
  • Defeat Vergo for this scene.

Treasure event 2. Use Zoro or Tashigi to track down Monet within the time limit.
  • You must be playing as Zoro or Tashigi.
  • This event refers to finding Monet AFTER Caesar has closed off the first part of the map.
  • Head to the northeast corner of the map and Monet should appear as you get there.
  • The time limit on this is a little tight so don't worry about the mission asking you to save the Marines, you can do it afterward.
Treasure event 3. After freeing all the Marine get Smoker and Vergo together.
  • You CANNOT be Smoker for this to happen.
  • This happens after the first area is destroyed.
  • You need to defeat the four Gate Guards holding the four Marine Captains prisoner.
  • Once this is done find Law and Smoker who should be advancing toward the SAD Production Room.
  • Aid their advance and when they get there Vergo will show up triggering the scene.
Treasure event 4. During Law's Strategy defeat Caesar more than once.
  • This happens when you enter the last area of the map, but keep in mind you will only have a ten minute timer from this point on.
  • Law will offer a strategy to open a pathway and free some of your allies.
  • Wait for enemy units and Caesar to appear on the east side of the map and head over to defeat Caesar, once you do he will disappear and reappear in one of several places.
  • Track him down one more time before you head to the Northwest Engine Room.
  • DO NOT capture the Northwest Engine Room before you defeat Caesar twice or you will miss the chance to do this.

Treasure event 5. Chase down Caesar with Luffy without letting the Marine Captain flee.
  • You need to be Luffy for this one.
  • This happens in the last area of the map after Law's strategy goes into effect.
  • Make your way up to Caesar with is hiding in the northwest territory of the map.
  • Since the map is fairly small at this point you really shouldn't have to worry about the Marine Captains but you can better insure their safety by taking a few moments to eliminate any of the opposing commanders you see along your way to Caesar.
-Complete this Episode on Hard difficulty
-Defeat Caesar using a Special Kizuna Attack.
-Clear the stage without allies fleeing from Land of Death.
  • As you make your way through this map Caesar will attempt poison you and your allies slowly taking out parts of the map.

  • Bellamy appears after you have defeated a few of the Marine Captains with Sanji and Zoro in the south end of the map.
  • The territory you need to capture is up in the northwest corner of the map.
  • If you let Law, Caesar, and Nami fight a few of the Captains that ambush them along the way it will give you more time for this.
  • You need to have Bellamy down and the territory under control prior to Law attempting to return Caesar to Doflamingo.

Treasure event 2. Defeat all the Pirate Captains aiming for the Flame-Flame fruit within the time limit.
  • Just after you are ready to go after the production facility a conversation will occur in which the enemies will mention a fight for the Flame-Flame fruit in the Colosseum in the center of the map.
  • Luffy will insist on heading that way.
  • Go to get the fruit from the Colosseum and a large group of enemies will appear from all directions with Four Captains leading them.
  • Defeat the Captains for the event to occur.

Treasure event 3. Defeat Teach within the time limit.
  • After Burgess leaves with the Flame-Flame fruit you will have to turn your focus back to destroying the SMILE factory.
  • Teach will appear in the territory off to the northeast above the factory and send out his crew to help Doflamingo and defend the factory.
  • After you defeat his men a second wave will appear and the door to Teach will open.
  • Move up and quickly defeat Teach for the scene to occur.

The Dream Log contains 83 islands that can be completed in almost any order. This trophy will occur once you have cleared any five of the islands.

Complete 15 or more islands in the Dream Log.

The Dream Log contains 83 islands that can be completed in almost any order. This trophy will occur once you have cleared any fifteen of the islands.

If we meet now, the promise will change, Luffy.
Complete the Dream Log.

To earn this trophy you only need to make your way through the Dream Log until you reach Shanks guarding the path to the Final Island. Once you defeat Shanks a scene will play and you will be congratulated for finishing the Dream Log.

You will still be able to go back into the Dream Log and clear the other islands of replay them to earn a better rank.

Shanks battle is no more or less difficult than any of the other Strong enemy battles and you will also unlock Shanks as a playable character for completing this island.

[top]
People's dreams never die!!!
Complete the "Final Island" in the Dream Log.

As you playthrough the Dream Log you will begin to notice that all roads lead to Red-Haired Shanks who stands on the fourth to last island. Defeating this island unlocks Shanks as a playable character and allows you to move to the next island in the chain.

The three islands after Shanks grow progressively harder, but not by much till you reach the last island "True Pirate Warriors."

The final island has a recommended level of 100 but honestly you can do it significantly sooner than that if you prepare right.

I cannot overstate how useful the Skill Ship Doctor's Wisdom is here as it will allow you to run away if needed while regaining health at a steady rate, the more upgraded the better.

Captain's Wisdom is also useful for filling your Special attack gauge without need to defeat enemies and giving you a nice safety net of having the big attack ready if you need it.

Other than these two you really can equip anything else you think might help in a pinch, though Grit, Brute Strength, Hero Body, and Miraculous Body can all be helpful at times.

For the Final Island you will Have to fight all the Straw Hat Pirates:
  • 1st Nami & Robin
  • 2nd Usopp & Chopper
  • 3rd Brook & Franky
  • 4th Sanji & Zoro
  • Then you will face the trio of Luffy, Ace, and Sabo.
  • As each new group drops in the previous territories will reactivate to send in more enemy reinforcements.
  • Finally all the members of the Straw Hats as well as Ace and Sabo will spawn at one time in the center of the map for a huge battle royal finish.
Now you will be given one ally Crew member to use Kizuna attacks with, it is critical that you keep them alive and move to help them if the attempting to flee notification comes up.

Move fast in taking out the enemy officers so you don't lose to much life, use your Special attacks when you need some breathing room, and be liberal in Kizuna usage and you should be able to take down the last island without too much trouble.

See You At The Top
Get an S-Rank Results Evaluation for a single episode.

Earning an S-Rank in any Episode of island comes down to three factors.

1. Number of KO's earned in the battle.

2. Number of "!" KO's earned through Kizuna attacks, Kizuna Rushes, and Kizuna Special Attacks.

3. Time in which it took you to complete the battle. (cutscenes, dialogue scenes, and treasure event scene do not factor into this time.)

In the Dream Log islands there is a tab on the pause menu that says player evaluation and tracks these three stats for you as well as showing you what is required to advance or in the case of completion time demote your rank.

All the Dream Log island except for the Final Island have the same criteria for S-Rank.

KO's needed: 2400
"!" KO's needed: 1200
Completion time: Faster than 18 minutes. (The Final Island gives you 30 minutes to complete it and still earn an S-Rank)

The Legend Log Episodes have nothing to indicate the exact statistics needed to earn an S-Rank but at the bottom right corner of the map there is a KO counter and above it a "!" KO counter. There is also an indicator telling you what your current rank would be if you were to finish the Mission at that exact moment.
As you move through each Episode use these counters and indicator to help you earn your S-Rank.

Rise to the top!
Achieve 100% Legend Points in a single episode.

Previously in this guide I listed all the requirements in each Episode for completing the different parts of each particular Episode's Legend.

You can check the Legend on the pause menu as well as on the confirmation before setting sail into an episode.

Each Legend for the episodes is in nine pieces while the Dream Log has an eight piece Legend that covers all the islands.

All the Legends can be done over multiple runs, so if you want to try going for different Treasure Events in different runs or do one aiming for your S-Ranks while another for your Hard play through that is perfectly fine.

The only thing that you have to do in one run is earn the KO, "!" KO, and Completion time S-ranks in one battle to get the middle tile piece for earning all three in one battle.

Below are the eight requirements to earn the Legend Log pieces for the Dream Log Legend:
  • Piece 1: Complete 25% of the islands in the Dream Log.
  • Piece 2: Complete 50% of the islands in the Dream Log.
  • Piece 3: Complete 75% of the islands in the Dream Log.
  • Piece 4: Defeat 3600 enemies over any number of battles in the Dream Log.
  • Piece 5: Get 2400 "!" over any number of battles in the Dream Log.
  • Piece 6: Defeat all the Strong enemies on the islands in the Dream Log.
  • Piece 7: Complete the Final Island in the Dream Log.
  • Piece 8: Get an S-Rank evaluation result on all the islands in the Dream Log.

We... know everything in all of history...
Complete the entire Gallery.

This is undoubtedly the last trophy you will earn on your way to the platinum. It is also the most time-consuming and will require a fair bit of grinding.

The gallery is divided into seven tabs and each one must be completed to 100% before the trophy can be earned.

The first tab is the Character Glossary:
This tab is automatically filled as you play through the Legend Log and encounter the last few entries in the Dream Log. Normal progression and making sure to clear ever island will make sure this tab is full by the time you finish the game's two modes.

The second tab is the Terms Gallery:
Much like the first tab this one also automatically fills as you progress normally through the games. There is nothing in either of these tabs that will require you to go out of your way while playing through.

The third tab is the Event Gallery:
Here is the first tab that will require a little effort on the part of the player. As you playthrough the game you unlock separate tabs in the submenu of this gallery. One for each episode as well as an Other tab. To fill the events you must complete each Episode, every Treasure Event in each Episode, and then purchase each event from the Beli shop after completing the Episode.
The entry of Other is a little different, there are five entries to this spot.
-The first scene is the Opening which will be unlocked from the time you start the game.
-The second scene is titled "The Next Generation" and is unlocked by defeating Shanks on his island in the Dream log with any character in the game.
-The third scene is "A Worthy Opponent" and is unlocked by defeating Shanks on his island (after resetting it for him to be standing on it again) while playing as Sabo.
-The fourth scene is "A Splendid Pirate" and is also unlocked by defeating Shanks on his island but this time while playing as Luffy.
-The final scene is the Staff Roll that will play upon completing the Dream Log, the final island of the Dream Log, and the final Episode of the Legend Log.

The fourth tab is the Music Gallery:
As you finish each Episode music from important events will become available in the Beli Shop, there's is nothing overly special need to unlock any of the music for this tab, just playthrough the game and finish all the Treasure events to unlock each piece for purchase.
The fifth tab is the Treasure List:
There are two sub tabs for this area of the gallery, Coins and Skill Poster.
Coins are discussed in this guide under the entry There's just so much! And it's scattered everywhere!
Skill Posters are listed in this guide under My Bounty is 400 Million Beli?!
You DO NOT need to earn all of the Skills for this tab, just unlock all the Posters for viewing.
The sixth tab is the Crew Gallery:
This is the most difficult tab to fill and will require you to achieve Crew Level MAX (5) with every playable and non-playable named character in the game.
Details and tips for leveling Crew members is listed under the entry You're All My Family.

The final tab is listed as Check Legend:
Under this tab is a giant poster of Luffy surrounded by scenes of all his adventures through the game. To finish the poster you need to complete all Episodes in the Legend Log, all Episode Legend Diaries (which are listed under their respective Chapter trophies), and earn an S-Rank on all the islands in the Dream Log to finish out the Dream Legend Diary (listed under If We Meet Now, the Promise Will Change, Luffy.

Complete all the entries for all seven tabs to get the Gallery to 100% and earn the hardest trophy for this game.

Nice, Zoro!
Unleash your first Kizuna Attack.

You will be able to use this once you have your first Crew member with you and have raised their Kizuna gauge to at least Level 2. If you are playing through the Legend Log first this will be available shortly after rescuing Zoro, and being notified his is "In".

Once you have defeated enough enemies to raise your chosen Crew members Kizuna gauge to Level 2 begin a combo against the enemy. Whatever button you choose to use, either or , to end the combo will determine the attack your Crew member will use. (Typically is a close combat attack, while is typically a ranged attack) Once you have ended the combo press the button you last pressed in the combo one additional time, the game should slightly appear to slow and go black and white for a half second as your Crew member leaps in to deliver an attack.

Congrats you have activated a Kizuna Attack, any KO's earned from this attack will be credited as both normal KO's and "!" KO's.

[top]
No sweat, Captain!
Unleash your first Kizuna Rush.

This is possible to do in any battle where you have at least one Crew mate "In". If you are playing through the Legend Log first you will have your first opportunity to work for this just after you rescue Zoro in "ROMANCE DAWN".

Once you have a Crew mate "In" or available to assist you you will see their face in the upper left corner of the screen next to an empty gauge. This is the Kizuna gauge, as you hit enemies it fills up as they hit you it empties (however it can never empty passed the level it has passed until you use a Kizuna Rush or that Crew member goes "Out").

At Level 2 Crew members can begin to assist in combo for Kizuna attacks.
At Level 4 or MAX as symbol appears prompting you to press . Doing so will activate Kizuna Rush mode.

During a Kizuna Rush all KO's count toward KO and "!" counts, and you have the ability to press to activate a Special Kizuna Attack that does a straight line of massive damage in front of you.

To earn this trophy fill a Crew mates Kizuna gauge to MAX and press , the trophy will pop shortly after.

[top]
Save me, Sniper King!
Unleash your first Hero Power.

If you start off off playing through the Legend Log your first chance to earn this trophy is in the Episode "Buggy the Clown."

At different points in the battle one of your Crew members may be granted the chance to be a Hero character. When this availability is active you will see a small portrait of the chosen Hero in the bottom right of the game screen.

To activate this character's Hero power select them among your available Crew member and begin to fill their Kizuna gauge.

After the gauge reaches MAX continue to fill it WITHOUT activating your Rush mode. A hot pink overlap will cover the MAX gauge, once it is fully covered you will see a larger portrait of the character appear on the left side of the screen with a small Hero word in the bottom corner of it. Then a message will appear telling you their Hero power is active and what it does.

The trophy will appear as soon as the power activates.

[top]
...Hey, cook. gimme a hand for a few seconds.
Change Crew members for the first time.

You will be able to earn this trophy once you have at least two Crew members available to you for assistance.

If you are playing through the Legend Log first the first chance you get to earn this trophy will be in the episode "Captain Kuro of the Thousand Plan."

Simply press either or to cycle through the Crew members available to build Kizuna for. The trophy the pop as soon as you change to the next member in the list.

We're a team, aren't we?
Increase one character's Crew LEVEL to MAX.

See You're All MY Family for information on building up Crew Level for different characters in the game.

[top]
You're All My Family
Increase 20 or more character's Crew LEVEL to MAX.

Though you only need to get 20 characters to Crew Level MAX (5) for this trophy you will need to get all sixty-four (64) of them up to complete the Crew Gallery entry of the Gallery.

You can raise a characters Crew Level in only two ways;
1) Play as that character.

2) Play with that character actively "In" your Crew. Characters in your Crew can be used for Kizuna attacks and the amount they gain Crew experience from this is directly proportional to how much they are used and the number of "!" KO's you earn in any given episode, though all Crew members you used in an Episode or could use will receive at least a small bit of experience just for tagging along.

Since it is far easier to level up playable characters than non-playable ones make sure to use those you can't play as as often as possible for their Kizuna attacks.

In the Spoiler below is a list of all non-playable characters in the game and what events you may be more likely to see them join in as a member of your Crew. When you select a specific event looking for a specific Crew members and they are not there simply back out and set sail again to see if the Crew line-up changes a bit.

All characters have an equal chance of appearing as members of Allied Forces.

My bounty is 400 million Beli?!
Obtain 20 or more Skill Posters.

Skill posters are obtained in one of two ways;

1) Unlocking a playable character

2) Defeating a character in the game whom you do not already have a skill poster for.

Depending on whether you choose to do the Legend Log or Dream Log first you may earn the Skill Posters in almost any order, the only exception is Red-Haired Shanks whose poster can only be earned by defeating him on the second to last island in the Dream Log.

A group of random (future playable) characters will appear as Strong Enemies occupying islands in the Dream Log and these characters can only have their Skill Posters obtained by clearing their island and defeating them, these are not the same as Bounty Characters who appear randomly and move around to different islands in the Dream Log.

Below is a list of all the characters in the order they appear for their Skill Posters so you can check whose Poster you have unlocked and what characters you still need to defeat/ unlock:

Row 1: Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky
Row 2: Brook, Buggy, Mihawk, Smoker, Tashigi, Crocodile, Eneru, Lucci
Row 3: Garp, Perona, Moria, Kuma, Law, Jimbei, Ivankov, Magellan
Row 4: Hancock, Marco, Ace, Whitebeard, Kizaru, Akainu, Teach, Kuzan

You've grown into a fine man. That hat looks good on you...!
Obtain 20 or more Skills.

Every Skill poster in the game has a list of one to three different Skills that can be earned from that poster by completing different task. These task can range from a certain number of KO's while playing as the character, leveling up and character's Crew Level, defeating a foe "x" amount of times, or a few other things. Completing these tasks will reward you with the respective Skill upon completion of that level or the next level you play for task already completed but not available at time they are completed.

There are a total of 152 Skills that can be earned in the game.

Two important things to understand about earning Skills.

1) Skills must be earned in the order they appear on the Skill Poster, you cannot move on to a new task until you have completed the one above it.

2) Upgrades of Skills cannot be earned until the weaker versions of the Skill have already been acquired. Example; Nami's first Skill to learn is Cat Burglar +, this Skill cannot be earned until AFTER you have earned Cat Burglar, which is the first Skill on Alvida's Skill Poster.

Upgrades of Skills will replace the weaker version once they have been earned and do not require you to stack equip them.

It is important to check either here, in the Gallery, or under the Skill Poster tab to know which Skill you still need to acquire and from which characters to earn your Skills in the most expedient manner.

Below is a list of all the characters, in their Skill Poster order, along with the Skills they offer, in order on Poster, what each Skill does and how to acquire them. Skills with a * before them are those that may by especially useful to you as a player. Combo Enhancement are usually the most effective combo of the character under which they are listed.

***Note: When it list that a you must use a Character's Special Kizuna Attack "x" times in battle, this refers to that character being the active member of your Crew who's Kizuna Level you increase to MAX, then activate, and then use your Crew attack while under the effects of the Kizuna Rush.

***Note: If you raise the Crew Level of a character high enough to earn a Skill before that Skill is available to learn you will have to wait till after the completion of a stage following earning the prerequisite Skill. You will then unlock the next level of that Skill regardless of whether the needed character was in the completed level.

There's just so much! And it's scattered everywhere!
Obtain 100 or more types of Coins.

There is a grand total of 241 coins in the game.

Coins 1-64 are character coins. These are earned by playing as, teaming with the character on the coin in your Crew, or defeating the character listed on the coin. Defeating a character with a Special Kizuna attack will yield more coins than a standard defeat. You will have no difficulty collecting the coins in this level through normal gameplay.

Coin number 65 is for the monster Oars and can ONLY be obtained by earning at least a 70% completion of the Legend for the Level Adventures on Ghost Island. You will not have to earn anymore Oars coins once this is done you are rewarded with all the Oars coins you will need for all characters that have a spot for them.

Coins 66- 241 are all considered Rare coins and each have there own criteria for earning them. Rare coins can only be earned once. But may be used among all characters who need them.

These coins are listed below with how to earn them, this information can also be found in the Gallery of the games.

Coins that require the defeating of a Strong enemy are referring to enemies standing on their own islands, unmoving, in Dream Log.

Coins referring to Bounty enemies refer to random enemies that may appear or can be purchased to appear in random places on the Dream Log map and move around once you complete a battle. These enemies will disappear if not encountered after a few battles. These battle also have a 10 minute time limit with only a few mission within. Bounty enemies are NOT considered strong enemies, once you stop getting coins from Bounty enemies stop pursuing them unless you just want to fight them.

Coins referring to defeating Strong enemies after clearing the Dream Log have a very small chance to drop without clearing Dream Log (very small though defeating Shanks on his island but that is where they have the best chance to drop). These coins can be earned by completing the final island of the Dream Log to reset the Strong enemies on the map or by facing Strong enemies on the Nightmare Log map.

Every battle in the Legend Log has two rare coins that can only be earned by achieving 80- 100% of that battles Legend piece. These are awarded without fail and only need to earned once. Legend percentage carries to all playthroughs.

Coins referring to a character's Crew level can be earned by playing as or teaming with to raise that character's Crew Level to the desired Rank.

I'll only grow stronger.
Break through one Character's growth limit.

Whenever you select a character a sub menu will come up that includes the option "Use Coins". In this menu you can use coins earned through different battles to upgrade Life, Attack, Defense, the number of bars in the Special Gauge, and the available Skill point your character can use. These upgrades are added on top of the normal Leveling up bump your character receives from experience points.

If you press down after the Skill Slot tab you will be taken to a second upgrade page. Here you will find the coin slots for unlocking alternate Special Attacks, two slot Special attacks and some alternate costumes for the character.

Press down once more to be directed to the final upgrade page and the one referred to in this trophy the Break Level Limit tab. Here you will see slots for a group of rare coins that need to be collected and placed in order to allow you to level your character passed Level 50.

There is no set way to earn the coins on this page in any particular order. Depending on the character some can be earned from Strong Enemies in the Dream Log, some from Bounties in the Dream Log, and a few have special criteria for earning (such as clearing a certain percentage of the Legend Diary in a particular Episode). All of the level breaks also have at least one coin that states it cannot be earned except by beating s Strong Enemy AFTER the Dream Log is cleared, this is only half true. Though these coins have a much higher drop rate after clearing the Dream Log, there is a small chance they will drop when you defeat Shanks on the third to last island in the Dream Log.

If you get one of these coins from Shanks hopefully you can get the rest to break that character's level and earn the trophy as well as prepare for the Final island of the Dream Log.

See There's just so much! And it's scattered everywhere! for information about earning specific coins.

Lay your life on the line and come with me!
Unlock all Characters.

There is no secret for unlocking any of the characters in this game. Playthrough and clear the Legend Log as well as all the islands in the Dream Log and all the characters will be yours. You may do this in either order though less are unlocked from the islands than the Legend Log. Also since the island inhabitants are somewhat random (they won't be members of the main crew initially but may be other Captains) you may want to see if a particular favorite is hiding among them in case you want to try to unlock them early on.

I'll take you all on! Even tens of thousands of 'ya!
Defeat over 100,000 enemies.

This trophy is cumulative over all games modes through the course of the game. Many of the stages will see you easily defeating a few thousand enemies and with the grinding needed to complete the gallery you will come across this in normal playthrough.

As expected of Luffy's Crew...
Defeat over 10,000 enemies using Kizuna Attacks.

This trophy is cumulative across all game modes and refers to both standard Kizuna attacks and Special Kizuna attacks. Since you will be using both to build up your "!" KO's for rank and Crew leveling this trophy should come about in normal gameplay.

If you need a description of how to perform Kizuna attacks or Special Kizuna attacks see Nice, Zoro! and No Sweat, Captain respectively.

He Certainly Is A Legendary Monster!!
Defeat over 10,000 enemies using Special Attacks.

The Special Attacks referred to in this trophy are those done using the gauge directly under your health bar.

With the the exception of Robin's two bar Special Attack (which targets only a single enemy) all the Special Attacks in the game target a large sweeping area in front of you and are excellent at building up your Crew's Kizuna gauge. Just use your Special Attacks as you normally would or in situations where you need to clear out enemies for an escape or open a running path and this trophy should come fairly easily in normal gameplay.

If you do end up accomplishing everything else in the game and still need to earn this trophy try replaying the last island in the Dream Log or last Episode in the Legend Log, both have a larger than normal group of enemies.

You Possess The Most Fearsome Power...!!
Defeat 300 enemies using a single Kizuna Rush.

Though at first this may sound like a slightly difficult trophy it is really very simple and almost impossible to miss. That said there are two fairly surefire ways to go about getting it done.

1) Activate a Kizuna Rush just before trying to take over an enemy territory with full life/ resources, hammer away at the enemies till the rush dies off or if your worried you might need a few extra KO's launch a Special Kizuna Attack just before the bar depletes to grab a few extra KO's.

2) Wait for enemy reinforcements appear in a level and rush them. As soon as you can see the bulk of the units line them in front of you and Activate the Kizuna Rush followed by a Special Attack. Most reinforcement drops are over 300 enemies so if you get most of them in front of you and hit them you will easily score over 300 KO's.

If he wasn't capable of that, we'd have to have a new Captain.
Defeat 1,000 enemies in a single battle.

This trophy is almost impossible not to earn on your first battle. Every encounter in the game has thousands of foes running around the map and at time your KO count can get almost as high as 10,000 on some levels.

If by chance you are having difficulty getting this trophy try going into enemy territories and beating up the enemies until the control bar (which shows essentially how much life the enemy territory has) gets about three quarters low. Now leave the territory and go to another then return. The territory will have gain back some control and spawned more enemies for you to KO.

He's already got... such a trustworthy Crew.
Use Kizuna Attacks of 3 different Crew mates in 1 battle.

In the Legend Log your first chance to earn this is in the Episode "The Don's Offer", but it can be earned in any battle where you start with or once you recruit three Crew mates.

To earn the trophy you will have to raise the Kizuna gauge for all three Crew mates to at least Level 2 and then deliver at least on Kizuna Attack (combo add-on) for each of them.

The trophy will appear after the third member has launched their attack.

[top]
I can't do anything right, so I need the help!
Unleash 20 or more Kizuna Attacks in a single battle.

As mentioned before once you have a Crew member whose Kizuna gauge is Level 2 or higher you can start using them for Kizuna attacks by double pressing the last button of your combo string to summon them in.

You need only summon them 20 times to earn this trophy and will probably earn it in the first battle you play through.

I'll be your "Legendary Hero"!!!
Use Hero Power at least 100 times.

This trophy is cumulative across all game modes.

How to activate Hero powers are explained in Save Me, Sniper King! Simply activate different Crew members Hero powers 100 times and the trophy will pop after the last one kicks in.

Don't underestimate the potential of my crew!
Unleash a Special Bond Attack with four Crewmates.

This trophy can be earned in any battle in which you have four active Crew members "In" on your Crew list or Kizuna gauge list.

If you are playing through the Legend Log first you best chance early on to earn this is in the Episode "The Legend Begins". If you are playing through the Dream Log first you will need to do a few missions in your battle to try to recruit your way to four Crew members.

Even though you need four Crew members for this trophy you can begin to lay the ground work from the beginning of the battle.
  • As soon as the battle starts begin filling the Kizuna gauge of your first Crew mate.
  • Once their gauge reaches MAX move to the next Crew mate, repeat till you have four Crew mates at MAX.
  • Now you will need to unleash a Kizuna Rush with three of the Crew mates.
  • You will notice after each Crew members Rush is done a handshake symbol will appear next to their picture.
  • This indicates they will assist the next Crew member with their Kizuna attacks.
  • You can use the Kizuna Rush as soon as you fill each characters gauge but be careful about racking up to many kills early on and not having enough enemies to fill the gauges of your third of fourth Crew mate.
  • Once the Rush has been activated you can play till it runs out or active a Special Kizuna attack to immediately end the Rush.
  • After you have three other characters with the handshake symbol beside them activate the Kizuna Rush for the four and final member. W
  • hile in Rush Mode press to be joined by your four Crew mates for a huge Kizuna Special Attack.
