[top]Tips & Strategies

- There are no difficulty related trophies so you can play the game on the difficulty of your choosing.
- It's been said that playing on the higher difficulties increases your chances of unlocking coins but there is no concrete proof that it actually does.
- Specials () are a great way to thin crowds of enemies as well as deal damage to boss characters so use it often.
- In the middle of a combo you can press to a dash towards enemies and still continue the combo.
- After completing both the Main Log and Another Log you'll most likely not have all the coins unlocked, what you'll want to do is grind away for coins in either the Main Log's episode 11 or Zoro's Another Log episode 7 while trying to keep the max BEAT count possible.

[top]Cheats, Glitches, & Exploits

As it stand now We're running away! We stole some gold! trophy is glitched for every region game except North America and Japan. The North American version of the game was glitched originally but was fixed with a patch. As of now now no patch has been released for other regions.

Once you hit Level 9 with one of your characters go to any episode and choose to play it. Then four options should pop up, select the second option (Set Coins). On the left side of the screen you should see a bar with three slots where you can select coins that have different effects. At this point you should have atleast 3 of the 9 (the first 9 coins) necessary coins to form the Straw Hat Pirates skill. Put 3 of them in the bar and you should see it change from a white/grey color to a gold color as well as have the words Straw Hat Pirates underneath it. The trophy should pop as soon as you do this.

Straw Hat Luffy
Cleared the Main Log.

*Story related, can not be missed. 1 of 2 ending trophies

In order to get both ending trophies you will need to play the last episode of the Main Log 2 times. I recommend you go for Thank you for loving me first and then replay the level again to get Straw Hat Luffy since Thank you for loving me is the more tedious of the two ending trophies since it requires the most work.

Thank you for loving me Path
- In the territory you start off as Luffy conquer it and you'll switch to Boa.
- With Boa defeat the Pacifista without conquering the territory, doing this will unlock the gates to Territory J (bottom right).
- Head to Territory J and defeat only Sentomaru and not the Pacifistas. Doing this will switch control to Whitebeard.
- With Whitebeard conquer Territory D (it'll have a flag) and this will cause Kizaru to appear on the battlefield.
- Head back to Territory D and defeat Kizaru in that territory. After doing this you'll switch back to Luffy.
- Conquer that Territory you currently stand in with Luffy.
- Wait for about a minute or so for the commanders to appear (big red dots on the minimap). Defeat all of them without conquering any territories, this will cause all the gates to unlock.
- Head back to Territory J (bottom right) and wait for Ao Kiji.
- Once Ao Kiji appears defeat him, which will cause control to switch to Ace.
- Beat Akainu

Straw Hat Luffy Path
While playing as Boa defeat the Pacifista that appear with Sentomaru and/or conquering all the territories. I suggest you go ahead and conquer all the territories since chances are you'll still haven't unlock "100,000 vs. 10".

[top]
"100,000 vs. 10"
Defeated a total of more than 100,000 enemies.

Defeat a total of 100,000 enemies in the game. Enemies defeated in Episode 0 will not count towards the total. After completing both the Main Log and everyone's Another Log you'll probably only have a few thousand kills. You'll kill two birds with one stone while grinding away for the coins needed for We're running away! We stole some gold! in either episode 11 of the Main Log or episode 7 of Zoro's Another Log. Alternatively of you want to grind for kills with an infinite number of enemies play episode 15 of the Main Log, at some point during the level Mihawk will appear on the battlefield, defeat him which will then leave you with an infinite number of spawning enemies. Keep killing them until the timer reaches 10/15 minutes at which point you should then heads towards the end of the level and finish the episode. Using this method you can easily get around 500-1500 kills per run on this episode.
