[top]Introduction

Now that the series has been axed, you have one last opportunity to enjoy the series. That being said, there is not much more. The game has a lot to be desired. So log this one into your queue, it not worth the $40. Never the less an easy platinum.

Now for the storyline. The characters are all there, except what happened to Charles Westmoreland? He looks different. Everyone else looks good. Lol.
You play Tom Paxton, an agent sent in undercover to determine the reasoning behind why Michael Scofield got himself sent to prison. The game play is based on stealth, you have to sneak around past guards, janitors, service technicians and spotlights to accomplish certain quests that earn you respect through-out the yard. Other than your normal quests and sneaking around you have trophies dedicated to fighting. Several fights will pop-up during the game, the rest you need to search out Jeremiah King to get set-up for some underground fights. This is where you will make your money. These all can be farmed out at the end of the game or during if you prefer.

[top]Tips and Strategies

The story line is linear which takes you from point A to Point B, there is no deviation other than talking to Jeremiah King (Mr. King) for underground fights. As long as you follow the X on the mini-map, you shouldn’t have any problem with this game. There are no time limits or timed events, just a straight forward game.

[top]Roadmap

My recommendation is to work through two playthroughs. You obviously need to complete the game on Shark. So start out on Shark. It is not that difficult. Now the reasoning on the two playthroughs is the trophy Invisible - . It is next to impossible to try and accomplish this on Shark, in my opinion. Run your second play through on Guppy and go for the Invisible - trophy and your clean-ups.
So let's start out on Shark:
Chapter 1:
Here you can easily tag approx. 25% of your trophies during the first chapter. You have your storyline trophies which include Guacamole with Lord, Initiation, Quid Pro Quo, Birds of a Feather, The Rat Hunt is On, Blood Red Tiles, and Metal Twister. During the first chapter game play you will also pick up Stalker and Monkey. You can also work on Swole and Bloody Knuckles while you are out in the yard. Next get set-up with Jeremiah King for some underground fights. Here you should easily earn Fighter, First Blood, Pugilist, Unbruised, Untouchable, The Best Defense... and Insult to Injury. You may even want to try Ninja or even All Inked Up. It will seem like you hit the jackpot with all these trophies popping up.
Chapter 2:
Back to normalcy, just a couple of storyline trophies in this chapter they are Burglar, Enabler and Massive Overdose.
Chapter 3:
Storyline trophies in this chapter are Locksmith. Here is another chance to visit Jeremiah King for some underground fights. Also hit the heavy bag to beef up.
Chapter 4:
Storyline trophies in this chapter are Shock and Awe, In the Crazed Mind's Eye, Built for Rough and Tumble and Brutally Chained.
Chapter 5:
No storyline trophies in this chapter.
Chapter 6:
Storyline trophies in this chapter are Hard Boiled, Inside Job and Man with the Plans.
Chapter 7:
Only Storyline trophy in this chapter is Matador
Chapter 8:
Storyline trophies in this chapter are Company Policy, Guardian Angel, and Tunnel Rat
Chapter 9:
Storyline trophies in this chapter are Everything and the Sink, Unfinished Business and Early Retirement.
After you complete chapter 9 you should also have earned Indefinite Furlough, The Great White,
Clean-up on Shark:
Clean-up and farm out the following: Ringer, Doesn't Play Well with Others, Mogul, and Lightning Reflexes. You can re-visit Chapter 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7 for your underground fights.
2nd Run through on Guppy:
Do a complete run through and work on Ninja, if you haven't got this one, and Invisible.

There are two missions that require stealth that you need to do for chapter one. Your first quest, C-notes' mission of retrieving his meds and the last and longest mission is the retrieval of Abruzzi’s letter and returning back to Abruzzi.
There have been some complaints about this and Invisible - trophy, and I will explain quick and easy what needs to be done. Once you have been seen (which means you see "press to continue") press the button and quit the game and reload. It will take you back to the beginning of the stealth save point. Following this method the trophy will pop-up. If you chose to press to continue and/or restart before you were caught, the trophy will not pop up. If you quit the game and reload any other way other than using the button the trophy will not pop up.
I have tried several games using several methods involving the first chapter and using the button is the only way the trophy will pop-up other than a perfect run through the chapter.

[top]
Locksmith
Successfully lock pick or unscrew five doors or grates without being spotted.

Story-related and cannot be missed. You will easily run across 5 doors/grates though out the game. This trophy should pop-up sometime in chapter 3.

[top]
Pugilist
Don’t get knocked out in five consecutive fights.

Very easy trophy and can be earned in the first chapter. Talk to Jeremiah King and take on Soda-Pop. Fight him 5 times in a row without getting knocked out and the trophy is yours. If by chance you get knocked down rapidly press “X” button to get back up. As long as you are not knocked out you can easily earn this trophy.

[top]
Initiation
Arrive in Fox River.

Story-related and cannot be missed. This most likely will be the second trophy you will earn. Once you are directed and arrive at your cell the trophy should pop up.

[top]
Quid Pro Quo
Complete the first quest to retrieve C-Note’s drugs.

Story-related and cannot be missed. Your first quest, basically follow the commands and you should have no problem earning this trophy.

[top]
Birds of a Feather

Story-related and cannot be missed. In Chapter 1, when Lincoln walks out by the yard and you see Michael, go up to talk to him. The trophy will pop-up.

Story-related and cannot be missed. In chapter 6, once you complete the quest for the blueprints the trophy will pop-up.

[top]
Matador

Story-related and cannot be missed. In the beginning of chapter 7, you need some quick cash to move into Scofield's cell. You see Jeremiah King and have a fight set up with Bellick. When you win the fight the trophy will pop-up.

[top]
Company Policy
Mannix arrives at Fox River.

Story-related and cannot be missed. In the beginning of chapter 8 Mannix arrives at Fox River. You will receive this trophy shortly after the cut scene with Abruzzi and Mannix.

[top]
First Blood
Beat your first opponent in underground fights.

During the first chapter about halfway through you will meet Jeremiah King. Talk to King and get set up for the underground fights. Choose "Soda Pop", as he is the weakest on the list.

Win a match flawlessly in underground fights.

Once set up with Jeremiah King you can always find him and enter the underground fights. You can find him during Chapter 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7. Take on Soda Pop and you should have this in no time. Use a barrage of (punches), as this will not allow him to get a punch off and you should have this in no time. If he does get a punch off try again. It works.

[top]
Ringer
Defeat 50 enemies in underground fights.

Can be done during any difficulty. Contact Jeremiah King and set-up to fight Soda Pop 50 times if you want to. You can find him during Chapter 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7.

[top]
All Inked Up
Get tattoos for all six locations on your body.

You need to talk to Jeremiah King to get your tattoos. All six tattoos will cost $1500. Your lower arms will cost $100 each, $200 each for your upper arms, $400 for your chest and $500 for your back. You do have a variety of tattoos to choose from. After getting all six tattoos the trophy will unlock. You can re-visit Chapter 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7 and talk to Jeremiah King.

[top]
Swole
Lift weights for at least 10 minutes (accumulated).

You can easily do this for 10 mins. during the first chapter. Set yourself up and rapidly press to raise the bar and move your left joystick left/right to level the weights out. However, the weights really will never fall so leveling is not necessary.

[top]
Bloody Knuckles
Punch the heavy bag for at least 10 minutes (accumulated).

You can easily do this for 10 mins. during the first chapter. However, you will need to go back to the heavy bag 2-3 other times to beef yourself up. There are 3 commands you need to watch and listen for:
C’mon punch it –
Punch it –
Block –
You can't quit the heavy bag and come back and expect to upgrade right away. They make you wait. So you can start out in the first chapter, come back in the 2nd, 3rd or 5th, and you should be able to max out easily by the 7th.

[top]
Doesn't Play Well with Others
Beat up more than 100 people on Shark.

This also is an accumulative total including the ones you fight through out the game.

[top]
Untouchable
Win a match flawlessly in underground fights on Shark.

Once set up with Jeremiah King you can always find him and enter the underground fights. You can find him during Chapter 1, 2, 3, 5 and 7. Take on Soda Pop and you should have this in no time. Use a barrage of (punches) this will not allow him to get a punch off and you should have this in no time. If he does get a punch off try again. It works.

[top]
Mogul
Earn $5000.

This is an accumulative total, you do not need this all at once.

[top]
Indefinite Furlough
Finish the game on any difficulty.

Finish all 9 chapters on any difficulty. Which means you can finish the game on Guppy, Fish and/or Shark.

[top]
The Great White
Finish the game on Shark.

Complete all 9 chapters on Shark difficulty.

[top]
Invisible
Complete every chapter without being seen.

There have been some complaints about this trophy. I will explain quick and easy what needs to be done. Once you have been seen (which means you see "press to continue") press the button and quit the game and reload. It will take you back to the beginning of the stealth save point. Following this method the trophy will pop up. If you chose to press to continue and/or restart before you were caught the trophy will not pop up. If you quit the game and reload any other way other than using the button the trophy will not pop up.

Tip added from Simula67 - I can verify firsthand that when you see the "Press to continue" message, if you press , then select "Exit to Main Menu", then select "Continue Game", you will still get the trophy. This will save people a ton of time rather than having to restart the game so often, especially on the annoying parts like the spotlights.
I cannot verify this I no longer have the game. If any one else can verify this credit will be given.

[top]
Lightning Reflexes
Successfully perform 50 reversal moves in fights.

A reversal move is a counter move. As your opponent starts to swing press . If you were successful then usually a , or prompt will appear. Quickly respond. If you press the appropriate button in time a quick little cut scene will appear and you have successfully completed a reversal move. Now go out there and do that 49 more times.

[top]
The Best Defense
Win a fight without blocking.

Very easily done, just do not use . Can be done in the first chapter and in the underground fights against Soda Pop.

[top]
Insult to Injury
Win a fight using only reversal moves and finishing moves.

See "Lightning Reflexes" trophy above. You can not throw any punches, so try and counter and watch for your reversal buttons to appear. When you are successful then watch for your finishing button ().
