Thorough
Obtain all 40 Titanium bolts

Obtain all 40 Titanium bolts
Titanium Bolts are big well-hidden shiny bolts, which you can find around the game. They give you access to skins. Below is a list of all 40 Titanium Bolts:
Toggle Spoiler
Please note that not every bolt can be obtained on the first visit to some planets. I will note, when all the necessary gadgets have been acquired.
Florana:
1) You'll reach a point where you have to do a very big jump close to a vendor. Instead of sticking the jump, fall along the building. There will be another floor you can enter where this will be located.
2) In the "Path of Death" there will be some sets of wooden trap platforms, that fall when you land on them. In one of these sets, there will be a stone platform. When standing on this stone platform, look to your right, to see it.
Starship Phoenix:
1) Awarded for completing all VR Training challenges.
Marcadia:
1) At the big area with the broken bridge, go from the entrance straight ahead and look for a walljumping spot. Jump those wall, to reach a hallway, where this Titanium Bolt lies.
Starship Phoenix:
2) Awarded for getting all tokens on the first Vid-Comic.
Annihilation Nation:
1) Pick the challenge "Heat Street". You will come to a point where there is lots of green laser turrets and a red robot going from side to side. On the platform behind that red robot is the Titanium Bolt.
Starship Phoenix:
3) Awarded for getting all tokens on the second Vid-Comic
Aquatos:
1) You'll come to a diving section. After that, you'll have to fight an ugly big monster. After that you'll have to press a button to let Skidd through. Skidd will make a bridge. Jump down from the bridge and continue straight ahead to find this one.
2) As soon as you enter the second diving section, turn 180 degrees, to see this one.
Tyhrranosis:
1) When you obtain the buggy, you'll have to destroy four turret, by destroying their generators. One of the generators will be inside a building. The titanium bolt can be found behind that building.
Starship Phoenix:
4) This one is unmissable. The Helga's VR Gadget Course, has now been unlocked. At the end of the course you'll get this Titanium Bolt.
Daxx:
1) You will have to obtain the Charge Boots first. These Charge Boots can be found by instead of swinging over the river, go up the grassy path. At the end of the segment will the Charge Boots be found. Now swing over the river and take the left path. You will at some point on this path, use the Hacker to get inside a building. One of the doors in the first room wont open. Go to the next room and find a little alcove (a sniper stood on it). On this alcove is a button, that opens the aforementioned door. It doesn't stay open forever though. Use the Charge Boots to get through the door. On the other side of the door, there will be some snipers. Kill them all and the Titanium Bolt should be easily seen in this area.
2) After defeating the Helicopter Boss, and seen the Courtney Gears music video, don't hop on the taxi yet. Instead look to your right to see a few Hypershot platforms. Go through this little course to find this Titanium bolt.
Annihilation Nation:
2) After defeating Scorpio for your first time, and meeting Courtney Gears again, you can pick a gauntlet challenge called: "Maze of Blaze". While progressing through this challenge you'll come to a part where you're on a small bridge, and there is two robots shooting lasers at you from two different ledges. Defeat them and jump on the left ledge. From there you can jump to a ledge with this Titanium Bolt.
Starship Phoenix:
5) Awarded for getting all tokens on the third Vid-Comic.
Obani Moons:
1) On the first moon (with the satellites and the lasers), drop down to the lava level. Explore that level until you have found a a cave with force field with the Titanium Bolt inside and a green Hypershot switch. Activate the Hypershot switch and hurry to the cave get the Titanium Bolt. You need to have the Charge Boots for this (you can get them on the planet Daxx).
2) While on the second moon, you'll use a jump pad to get on top of a building. Go over the bridge, but stop halfway, and drop down to get this Titanium Bolt.
Holostar Studios:
1) As Ratchet, you will come to a part where you have to use the Hacker to get an elevator working. In the next room go up the tribunes to the right of the entrance.
Blackwater:
Nothing
Obani Draco:
Nothing here either
Zeldrin Starport:
1) Ignore Qwark's ship and proceed through the level. Not far from start do you have to climb a ledge. At the top there is a little sideroom to the right, with this Titanium Bolt.
2) Not that far from the other one is a room with gears on the wall. Jump on the unbreakable boxes to reach a ledge. From there long jump to the other ledge.
Starship Phoenix:
6) Awarded for finding all of the tokens on the fourth Vid-Comic.
Metropolis:
1) In the very first building you enter jump up to the window on the left and break it. Proceed straight through the next building and use the Hypershot to get this Titanium Bolt.
2) You'll come to a point where you will have to fight two green guys and a dropship. You should really be going left, but try to look to your right. There is small ledges on the building. Jump on them to attain this Titanium Bolt.
3) In the optional missions, pick almost any challenge (aircraft challenges should be good). On one of the big towers is a gravity ramp with this Titanium Bolt.
Complete all of the optional missions on Metropolis, and we now have all the gadgets we need to get the rest we missed on the other planets.
IT'S BACKTRACK TIME!!!
Marcadia:
2) Go to Lab. In here you'll come to a part with a bridge, that makes chime sounds. A little after that you should see a very thin gravity boots wall. This does not really lead to anything but the ceiling. Move through a few other rooms and see another thin gravity boots wall. Here is another laser. Direct it to the...uhm... laser thing... and go back to the first gravity boots wall. Now a laser has appeared here. Redirect the laser into the other laser thing, and the door right next to you should open. Guess what's inside....
3) At the end of the Lab level, there is a big gravity boots wall. Go up that wall.
Aquatos:
3) Continue through the level again. After the very first bridge that Skidd extended for you, you will be in a small circular room in this room you will find a Hacker puzzle. Complete it and use the elevator in the newly opened room. This elevator will lead you to the bolt.
4) Go to the sewers. Look on your map. With your newly acquired Map-O-Matic you can see the whole sewer system, including the secret paths. Find the most northern path on the map. The titanium bolt is there. You need to find a secret path (only available with Gravity Boots).
5) This one is hard to describe, so bear with me on this one. Stay in the sewers. Look at the map again. The big grey line is the massive river, that goes through sewers, while the circular lines going over it, is the bridges. You may not know this, but the sewer system has 3 "floors", but there is only bridges on the two lower floors, except for two. From the left to right, bridge number 6 and 8, have 3rd floors. You can access these bridges in two ways. Either by going there manually, or by going to the leftmost bridge. On the leftmost bridge is a teleporter, that automatically gets you to the third floor of bridge number eight. Now that you are on one of the two bridges, you'll notice some Hypershot targets. Swing them to get to the other bridge, and this Titanium bolt will be halfway there.
Tyhrranosis:
2) Remember the mission, where you had to destroy four turrets? Good, one of the paths to a turret was through a cave. Go through the cave again, and you'll soon see a Hypershot target. Get across the gap to find this Titanium Bolt.
Holostar Studios:
2) At the place where you park your ship, you should be able to see a gravity boots wall. Use it and complete the little course to find this Titanium Bolt.
3) Go for the last Titanium Bolt again, but when you come to the spiralling magnetic floors. Try jumping to the other one to get to an even more secret location. Follow the path to obtain this Titanium Bolt.
Let's continue the game from here.
Crash Site:
1) At the very start, locate the gravity wall, and walk on it to find this bolt.
Aridia:
1) Pick the fifth and last mission ("X12 Endgame"). Your objective is to infiltrate the building in front of you. Don't do that though. Stay in the main area, and locate the big bridge. On the sides of the big bridge is gravity boots walls. Walk on them, and go under the bridge for the Titanium Bolt.
2) Later in the fifth mission you'll come to the red base. As soon as you see it, look to your right to see a gravity boots wall. Walk up the wall and follow the path for this Titanium Bolt.
Starship Phoenix (The last time):
7) Awarded for finding all token on the fifth and final Vid-Comic.
Qwarks Hideout:
1) Go on the path, that leads to the PDA. You'll soon see this Titanium Bolt in plain sight. Getting to it, is a bit tricky. Jump from a higher gravity wall ledge, and just hope, that you'll make it.
Koros:
1) You'll come across a point where you have to climb a lot of black crates. Get to the top and jump to the ledge to your left (there is an in-game trophy here). Jump over the fence, and get the Titanium Bolt.
2) In the immediate area after the black boxes. Locate a path to your left. Go behind one of the buildings there to find a ladder. Climb it to find this Titanium Bolt.
Command Center:
1) Upon completing the first Thyrraguise related puzzle. Use the elevator and then drop down the ledge to the left for the final Titanium Bolt.

Skill Master
Attain All 30 Skill Points

Attain All 30 Skill Points
Skill points are certain "events" you have to go through. It usually requires you to something in a very specific way or doing something extremely well. It's hard to explain, but below is a list of all of them. Please note, that they have to be achieved on certain planets. Getting skill points unlocks novelty unlockables.
All Skill Points:
Florana:
All Skill Points:
Toggle Spoiler
Florana:
Stay Squeaky Clean
This one is awarded for completing "Path of Death" without taking a single hit. There are few enemies to worry about. The thing you need to focus on is the traps. Get comfortable with their patterns. The real horror comes in form of falling rocks. There is no pattern here, so just do your best to stay out of their way.
Starship Phoenix:
Monkeying Around
Poor monkey. You'll have to hit Scrunch with the wrench. Scrunch can be found running around on the Ship's deck, after the first visit to Annihilation Nation. Your best bet is to make him run in one direction, and then you run in the opposite direction, and when Scrunch gets close, duck and throw the wrench.
Strive For Arcade Perfection
This one is acquired when, you've found every single token and health upgrade in the Vid-Comics. Please refer to "Strive for Arcade Perfection
" for a guide to all tokens and health upgrades.
Beat Helga's Best Time
First you need to unlock Helga's gadget course. After that, you need to beat the course in less than 50 seconds. This is completely impossible the first time through because of the Hacker puzzles, but if you try again, all of the Hacker puzzles stay completed, so you just need to worry about the Hypershot parts. This really isn't that bad, but get use to the course. There is also a few places, where you can use the charge boots if needed.
Turn Up the Heat
This one is simple. Near the end of the game the Infernox Armor is available for purchase for a million bolts. Buy it to get this Skill Point. This is the only Skill Point I recommend to get in challenge mode, where there are more bolts to get, since 1 million bolts is quite expensive.
Set A New Record For Qwark (Ep. 1)
You'll have to beat the first Vid-Comic in a mere 2:40 minutes. The first one is actually the hardest. There is two ways to do it.
1) Do it all normally and get a really close photo finish.
2) Instead of waiting on the big elevator, walljump it.
I took the second option, and beat it in 2:25. Walljumping the elevator part can be tricky, and you pretty much have to nail the other parts of the level. Also remember for the boss, you don't have to shoot, so punch it while waiting for ammo. The rest of the level, however, is very straigh forward and simple. Just don't fall off any platforms.
Set A New Record For Qwark (Ep. 2)
Now it's time to speed run the second stage. There is no boss battle in this one, but you'll have to make it in 2:10 this time. This time though, there really isn't a trick to it, but the time trial is not that hard either. I did it on my first try. Just keep moving forward. Ignore all of the enemies, that are not blocking your path. The jumping sections may require some practice.
Set A New Record For Qwark (Ep. 3)
Third time's a charm. Beat the third episode in 1:50 or less. There are very few enemies in this. There is two sections you need to focus on. All of the damn conveyer belts that gets in your way, and the part where you need to kill a certain amount of flying robots to open a door. This last section is fastest done, by moving the analog stick up, and just fire away. This time challenge is probably the easiest.
Set A New Record For Qwark (Ep. 4)
Let's give the fourth episode a whirl. This is the longest time trial. You need to complete the level in 4:45. This is the second hardest time trial. There is four parts to this level.- Jumping section. There is no other way around this. Practice, practice, practice. If you get really fast at this part, you don't have to wait for any of the platforms.
- Bus section. This section is kinda scripted, and can't be improved. Try not to take any hits though.
- Fighting section. Just pass up on all of the beehives. You have to kill those insects that forms a circle though. Three times with the bomb weapons should seal that deal. This is the section that can make or break your speed run, so get comfy with it.
- Boss battle. Good 'ol Dr. Nefarious up to his old tricks. If you have picked up many health upgrades, don't be afraid to make relentless assault. Just shoot and punch him until he falls. If you have low health or just not many health upgrades, you need to be both fast and tactical.
Set A New Record For Qwark (Ep. 5)
Two minutes for the last one. This one is kinda already on a time limit, but you should still hurry up since dying is annoying. There are very few enemy sections, and therefore you'll have to practice the jumps. Be ready for the ice blocks, that blocks your path. This one is all about skill. Just keep trying, since there are no exploit or trick to this.
Marcadia:
Reflect On How to Score
You'll have to kill 25 enemies with the Refractor (the gadget you obtain in the lab). Just direct the laser at the enemies to kill them.
Annihilation Nation:
Lights, Camera, Action!
Destroy 5 cameras. This can only be done in gauntlet challenges. There are a lot of floating cameras around. Destroy 5 to obtain this "Skill" Point.
Bash the Bug
You'll have to beat Scorpio with the Wrench only. Scorpio first appears at your second obligatory visit to Annihilation Nation. Try go behind him and Hyper-Strike (
+
) him. Beware of the flamethrowers. You may want to wait, until you have more Nanotech.
Be An Eight Time Champ
Complete all 8 Gauntlet challenges. These are not hard at all, but not all 8 Gauntlet Challenges can be unlocked on the first trip to Annihilation Nation. See "Annihilation Nation" guide under the "Additional Guides, Lists and Extras" section.
Flee Flawlessly
Don't get hit on a Gauntlet Challenge. Easiest done on "Heat Street". Get used to the patterns of the fire traps. Use a strong weapon on the enemies.
Aquatos:
Search for Sunken Treasure
There is two diving sections. The first has 7 sets of crates, the second 6. To destroy these sets of crates, touch the explosive ones and swim away. Destroy them all for the Skill Point.
Hit the Motherload
There is no way around it. Find all 101 sewer crystals for this one. Two of them you get automatically through the level. The Gravity Boots are required for this. You get them in Blackwater. I strongly recommend getting the Map-O-Matic, by completing all optional missions in Metropolis. The Map-O-Matic marks all Crystals on the map (as diamonds). Find them, get them and bring them back to the Plumber.
Tyhrranosis:
Be A Sharpshooter
Snipe 10 Tyhrranoids in the towers. You need the Flux Rifle for this one. You can buy at the vendor for 75000. In the big main area, there is a few towers, with three Tyhrranoids in each. While having the Flux Rifle equipped, aim (by pressing and holding
) and shoot ten enemies.
Daxx:
Bugs to Birds
You need to transmorph 15 Floranian Blood Flies into ducks. You can buy the Qwack-O-Ray from the vendor for 200000 around the time you get to Aridia. The flies can be found on the path to the Charge Boots.
Obani Moons:
Get to the Belt
On the first moon (the one with lasers and satellites), press
. You can now rotate the moon. Look at the asteroid belt. Some of the asteroids have flat surfaces. Next locate the talles tower of platforms. Get on the tallest platform and use the jump pad to get on the flat asteroids.
Blackwater City:
Bash the Party
Kill 20 enemies with the Wrench only. Easily done on the first mission. Just bash away the small Tyhrranoids, and Hyper-Strike (
+
) the bigger guys.
Holostar Studios:
Feeling Lucky?
Well do ya, punk? Around the level you will find a few slot machines. Hit them with the Wrench to make them spin. If you get three "bars" you get the Skill Point. This may take some time, and the slot machines can detonate, so you'll have to kill yourself to make them respawn.
Metropolis:
2002 Was A Good Year In the City
A throwback to the original R&C. There is a blimp with a Qwark symbol flying around the city. Destroy it.
Crash Site:
Aim High
Kill 10 Skreeducks. They are the pterodactyl-looking creatures, that flies around the crash site. Use the Flux Rifle for maximum effect.
Suck It Up
Kill 40 enemies with the Suck Cannon. Suck up those small robots and shoot them at the larger ones. I'm not sure, that if you die, it will reset, but leaving the planet and coming back, does not reset the number.
Aridia:
Zap Back at Ya'
There are these big robots controlled by Tyhrranoids that zaps laser at you. Use the Refractor to reflect the laser to kill other enemies. Try to kill the laser enemies last. Kill 10 enemies in total. This can be done easily on the first mission.
Go for Hang Time
You need to have an air time of 2 seconds in the car. This can be done on the third and fourth mission. There is this giant rock ramp, that makes this easy.
Qwark's Hideout:
Break the Dan
Just like in R&C 2, there is a hidden snowman. On the path to Qwark get to the very first laser turret (after a Hypershot part). Instead of continuing through the level though, look your right. There is two walls close together over the water below. Jump in the gap and wall jump the walls. Don't glide, because then you wont be able to wall jump. At the top of the wall are the snowman. Give him a good hit, with your Wrench.
Koros:
You Break It, You Win It
BREAK EVERYTHING!!!... okay maybe not everything, but break a lot. If you've snatched the Bolt Grabber V2 on Zeldrin Starport, it makes it a lot easier. Hyper-Strike (
+
) everywhere, until you get the Skill Point.
Command Center:
Spread Your Germs
Eww... Use the Infector to infect 30 people. Really easy actually, especially with a V5 or higher. I think that dying on this one does not reset your amount.

Get all the Omega Weapons including the Rhynocerator

Get all the Omega Weapons including the Rhynocerator
Weapons are an essentiel part of the R&C universe. Weapons can be upgraded by using them a lot. When a weapon has upgraded to level 5, you can't upgrade it further until Challenge Mode, where you'll have to buy the sixth upgrade for a heavy sum of money, and then you can continue upgrading to level 8. All weapons needs to be in level 8 to get this trophy (with the exception of the RY3NO, which can only be upgraded to level 5). Below is a list of all weapons.

Friend of the Rangers
Complete every battle mission

Complete every battle mission
Battle missions are those missions you get on dropships. They involve those robot allies, you're with every once in a while. Some of them are optional some of them are story related, but for this trophy you need to complete them all. Below is a list of all missions:
Toggle Spoiler
Marcadia (These are all story-related):
Secure the Area:
Very basic. Just help the rangers shoot the different enemies on the screen. After a few waves it's over. If you're about to run out of helath, there is two health boxes behind the circular platform, you start on.
Air Assault:
Pretty much the same deal, with the exception that you can't let all of the robots die. Run around and protect them.
Turret Command:
This is probably the hardest Marcadia challenge. You will be steering a turret. The turret is pretty powerful, so try shooting down the drop ships, before they drop enemies. Keep the robots alive, because if they die, all of the enemies will be shooting at you, and that's bad.
Under the Gun:
Wonderful, just wonderful! Now is the turret broken. Keep the three robots alive for the 2 minutes it takes for them to repair it. Keep close to them and let the other robots take care of the rest.
Hit n' Run
We now have to set up 5 other turrets. You do that by using your wrench to rotate the screws. Be careful before doing so, because you can't attack while doing this, so clean the immediate are of enemies. The more turrets you set up, the easier it gets, since the turrets are pretty powerful.
Tyhrranosis (These are optional):
Assault On Kavu Island
Very basic mission. Dodge the missiles and kill the enemies. Crank the bolt to open the bridge, where there will be more enemies waiting. Kill them all to complete the mission.
Dogfight Over Kavu Island
You'll be flying the plane. It's pretty easy to control. There is a lot of enemies to destroy. Priortise the dropships, since they do the most damage.
Operation Thunderbolt
Another flight mission. Kill all of the enemies. Priortise the rocket launchers and the dropships though.
The Final Battle
First there is a few easily disposable enemies. When you get to the red base there is a surprise. TWO MEGA TURRETS! These have no mercy. Agents of Doom V2 are very helpful to dispose of them.
Blackwater (These are story-related):
The Battle of Blackwater City
Pretty simple. Just keep the enemies away from shooting your base. There is a good chunk of Rangers to keep you alive as well. If you're having trouble use the Lava Gun, it helps.
The Bridge
Incredibly easy. There is some bad guys coming from a force shield to a relatively small platform, that you are standing on. There is actually very few powerful enemies, and two health boxes if needed, so fire away.
Counterattack
This is pretty tricky actually. First defeat the four enemies by going around them and shoot. Then the hard part comes. Two turrets are fully blasting bullets at you. If you have Agents of Doom V2 or higher you can use them to shoot the turrets while you just concentrate on dodging the bullets. If not, find your strongest weapon and strafe while shooting.
Metropolis (These are optional):
Countdown
Very easy mission. Destroy all of the green machines. The mission is timed, so just focus on the green machines, and ignore everything else. They are marked with green on your mini-map.
Urban Combat
A tricky mission. Just have the Lava Gun, Annihilator and Rift Inducer in handy. Battle through a good lot of waves. It's kinda ordinary though.
Tower Attack
I'm not even sure you can fail this, unless you are actually trying to fail it. Defeat all the enemies. Go for the rocket launchers first though... for convenience sake.
Air Superiority
Destroy a lot of dropships. They are fast and can hurt a lot, but they're still pretty easy to dodge and kill. You just need a good aim.
Turret Command
Short, but tricky turret mission. There really is nothing I can give you, except go for the dropships first.
Aridia (These are story related):
The Tunnels of Outpost X12
Veeeeeery basic missions. Fly past the missiles. Kill enemies. Advance.
Ambush In Red Rock Valley
A flying level. You'll have to destroy every enemy and protect the ranger in the middle. Priortise dropships and laser-shooting enemies from the others.
Assassination
Probably the hardest mission in the game. Kill all of the big green laser-shooting enemies. Just be careful of what you're doing and remember to pick up any health you see. Strafing is very helpful too. Use
Reclaim the Valley
Here you need to turn some bolts to capture some waypoints around the main area. Just be sure, that there is no enemies around. Use the car to easily get around.
X12 Endgame
You've done this before. Get to the red base, and kill the two turrets. There is a dropship in the mix, but strafing gets you a long way so... yeah. Save some Agents of Doom and Annihilator ammo for the turrets.

Biobliteration
Defeat the Biobliterator to complete the game

Defeat the Biobliterator to complete the game
This is the second and last phase of the final battle... and boy is it a joke. Let me tell you how to beat it.
Jump in the plane. Fly up to a fitting height. Fly right while shooting. That's it. Fly right and shoot. You can try to avoid his missiles, but that's not really necessary. If by any VERY small chance you're getting low health with the plane. Land it and use the car to drive to another one.

Nefarious No More
Defeat Dr. Nefarious in the Final Battle

Defeat Dr. Nefarious in the Final Battle
This is the first phase of the final battle, and it's actually pretty hard. Dr. Nefarious has several attacks up his sleeve:
- He clones himself. The clone will then charge at you. Walk either to the right or left to avoid.
- He fires two sets of... laser I guess. The only way to dodge this is to jump over them. This is the best part to attack Dr. Nefarious.
- He throws bombs that makes shockwaves you have to jump over.
- Missiles that marks where they land. Pretty difficult to avoid actually.
- A big laser. This one is easy to dodge though.

Issue 5: The Shaming of the Q
Toggle Spoiler
This one is a bit different. Because of the rising ice water, there are not many hard to find tokens. There is actually only two red tokens and the health upgrade, that you have to go out of your way to get. The rest can be seen in plain sight, if you are a bit observant. Here they are:
- Red token 1: After destroying your first iceblock, jump over the spikes and get on the higher raised platform. Instead of continuing further jump to the ledge to the right. Wall jump the wall to the right of that ledge to get to this red token.
- Health upgrade: After the first red token, there will be a tower. After climbing up the tower, you'll come to a room with a red token in plain sight. After that another tower. At the top of that tower, the paths will be split in two. Take the path to the left for the health upgrade. Immediately kill yourself, since there are tokens on the right path.
- Red token 2: After destroying two ice blocks directly in a row. You'll see another iceblock. Do NOT destroy it. Jump on the first ice "pillar", and then jump on the ledge to the left.

Use the Lava Gun or Rift Inducer here. In between round 34 and 66 there are Sleeping Gas rounds. Use a weapon you're comfortable here. Instead of continuing through the level though, look your right. There is two walls close together over the water below. Jump in the gap and wall jump the walls. Don't glide, because then you wont be able to wall jump. At the top of the wall are the snowman. Give him a good hit, with your Wrench.

These missions are necessary for getting a titanium bolt. These missions, can be found by going to the hallway to your quarters, and then turn right on Starship Phoenix. These are all pretty easy and can be completed as soon as you arrive to the Starship Phoenix for the first time, with those 3 or 4 weapons you have. Here is a rundown of the robot enemies you will be fighting:
There are three types of robots. One robot will have a flamethrower, which makes them hard to get close to, but is totally defenseless from ranged weapons. One robot has a metal boxing glove, and he can punch you with it, though with short bursts making them easy targets. The lasts throw bombs, though where the bombs lands are marked, so it's easily dodgeable.
Here is a rundown on the challenges (I'm sorry if these came out of order):
Warm Up:
The first challenge and very easy. You will be on a circular field with 5 small waves of robots. Kill 'em all, by preferable using the Shock Blaster or the Nitro Launcher.
Don't Look Down:
This time it's six rounds. And be careful, because after the first wave, the spaces between the four outer main pieces of the floor will disappear, after round 3 the main center piece will disappear, and after the fifth round both of them will disappear.
Speed Round:
You'll have a minute to complete 2 waves of robots. To make it go faster, when a wave start, find the two robot-spawning tubes that are close to each other, and fire a bomb from the Nitro Launcher between them to take out two tubes of robots in one swoop.
The Shocker:
In this round you'll have to destroy 3 waves of robots only using your Shock Blaster. Your Shock Blaster will probably be one of your most upgraded weapons, so this should cause no problems.
Hot Stepper:
There is nothing special about this round. Just survive 8 rounds of robots and disappearing floor tiles. You may run out of ammo for one of the weapons. Luckily there is ammo crates around the field.
90 Seconds Slayer:
You have a minute and a half to defeat 3 waves of robots. Use the same trick as in the "Speed Round" challenge to do this faster.
Wrench Beatdown:
Probably the hardest VR challenge. You'll have to dismantle 3 waves of robots by only using your Wrench. The boxing glove- and bombrobots shouldn't be a problem, though to safely defeat the flamethrower robots, throw your Wrench by pressing and holding
and then press
.
Nerves of Titanium:
The last showdown. There is no special rule to this fight, but you'll have to make your way through a whooping 12 waves of robots and disappearing floor tiles. You'll have to use more than one weapon and get the ammo crates to complete this challenge. When all robots have been defeated, a Titanium Bolt will apear in the middle of the field. Grab it to end the challenge.
[top]Annihilation Nation Challenges:
Toggle Spoiler
1st set of challenges:
Toggle Spoiler
Gauntlet Challenges:
Heat Street:
This has the simple premise of you having to go from point A to point B. Avoid the traps and enemies. The green laser turrets can also be defeated.
Crispy Critter:
There is a lot more of falling platforms so get ready to run'n'jump a lot. Other than that it is the same old same old.
Pyro Playground:
This one is a bit tricky solely because of the part with the pistons moving back and forth. You'll have to carefully jump on them without falling down in the lava. This may require a few tries.
Suicide Run:
There is not much suicide here. There is a bit more fire, than there used to be, but overall this one is very beatable.
Arena Challenges:
Practice Challenge:
A simple ten rounds of enemies. If you have some okay leveled up equipment this should be really easy.
Robot Rampage:
A twelverounder. Now there is spinning blades, fire traps and electricity on the floor, which you carefully have to navigate through, without stepping on the traps.
The Terrible Two:
It's two minibosses. The guy has two attacks. A morph-looking beam he can shoot. Just jump over this one. He also fires A LOT of missiles. Where these missiles land is marked, but there are so many, it's hard to avoid. The girl also has two attacks. A jumping attack, where she jumps and lands on her butt so she emits shockwaves. Jump over these. SHe also gets close to you and swings her whip. Also jump over these. I would to kill them with the N60 Storm V3 or higher.
Two Minute Warning:
The two minibosses in two minutes. If you have the N60 Storm V3 or higher, and you constantly shoot at them, you should be in no trouble.
90 Seconds of Carnage:
You got one and a half minute to complete six waves of enemies. Use the Nitrogen Launcher for quick kills. Also use the N60 Storm.
Onslaught:
You have 2 minutes to defeat nine waves of enemies. Try to distance yourself and use the N60 Storm to take many of the enemies in the beginning out. In the last three or four waves use the Nitrogen Launcher to dispose of the last of the enemies.
Whip It Good:
Six waves with only the Plasma Whip. If you have a weak Plasma Whip (V2 or lower), there is no way, that you have ammo enough for this. Instead jump over the enemies, when they are in a little group, so they hurt each other. Then kill the remaining enemy. This is a bit tricky manuvuer, but it's definitely doable, and more sensible than having to come back later.
Hydran'n Seek:
You need to use the Soitting Hydra to take out 4 waves. You don't really need to use the "Jump-Over-Enemies" technique for this one, but try to lock on the enemies behind other enemies, for multiple hits with one shot.
Championship Bout:
24 ROUNDS!!! Yup. There is four things you need to notice.
1) The turret that pops up in the middle of the arena. Avoid it and use it to your advantage.
2) The Heat Armor Power-ups. Use them wisely.
3) The Timed Rounds. Use the N60 Storm or the Nitrogen Launcher here.
4) The minibosses returns in the very last round. Have some N60 Storm for this part.
This challenge is long and tough, but if you can do it, you get 15.000 bolts.
2nd set of challenges:
Toggle Spoiler
Gauntlet Challenges:
BBQ Boulevard
Story related. There really isn't anything new here, except for the tank. If you have the Agents of Doom, you can defeat it from safe distance. The end to this challenge is a bit tricky as well, so be careful and save up some good ammo.
Maze of Blaze:
Nothing new... yet again. There is a few tricky flame spots, but other than that, there really isn't anything to this challenge. Note, that this challenge contains a hidden Titanium Bolt.
Cremation Station:
Same old, same old. Jump, shoot and glide to win. There really is nothing to be afraid of in this challenge.
The Annihilator:
The last Gauntlet Challenge. There is only one really tricky part, and that's with the four robots shooting lasers and turning. Use either the Plasma Whip or the Nitrogen Launcher here.
Arena Challenges:
Scorpio:
Story related. This is a boss fight. Scorpio has two attacks. Saw blades that come after you, which can easily be jumped over, and flamethrowers, where you have to be more careful. You can stay pretty far away from him and shoot him with long ranged weapons and jumping over the saw blades, so you don't have to worry about the flamethrower.
Ninja Challenge:
There is actually not that many ninjas in this challenge. The ninjas are pushovers, but this challenge contain very few ammo boxes, so be careful with the trigger finger. There is also a Fire Suit power up at wave 8. The ninjas are actually very useful when infected by the infector. Survive all 12 rounds to win.
Counting Ducks:
In this challenge your health is a ticking time bomb. Your health decreases automatically, and you'll have to fight your way through 6 waves of enemies before dying. There are no health boxes in this challenge so pull out a long ranged high leveled gun, and kick some butt quickly.
Cycling Weapons:
There is 16 rounds in this challenge which is quite a lot. In this challenge you have infinite ammo, unfortunately you do not decide which weapons you can use. You get offered one of your weapons with very limited ammo, and when that ammo is up, you get a new weapon. Use the weapons you are comfortable with, and just waste the others, and you should be fine. The spinning turret is in the last two waves,
One Hit Wonder:
For this challenge you need to defeat 8 small waves without getting hit once. Recommended weapons are Shock Cannon, N60 Storm and Lava Gun. There is a single wave with a lot of those small spinning robots. Use the Plasma Whip to destroy them easily.
Time To Suck:
6 waves with only the Suck Cannon. If you're Suck Cannon is V3 or above, you shouldn't have any trouble, if not, the old make-the-enemies-hit-each-other trick should come in handy. Just suck up the small robots and fire them at the big guys.
Naptime:
Your health decreases automatically and you have to fight Scorpio. Take out the big guns - Lava Gun, Spitting Hydra and N60 Storm, and make this quick. It's actually not that hard.
More Cycling Weapons:
You have cycling weapons against Scorpio. Just waste all of your shortranged weapons (maybe except the lava gun), and hit him with the good weapons, especially if you have a highleveled N60 Storm.
Dodge The Twins:
This is pretty difficult. If you have a really good weapon in your hands, you can hit them without attacking you before they switch, with the exception of the most difficult part of the battle. You will be shooting at Helen, while Gary shoots missiles at you. These missiles can be a real pain to dodge and may cause failure, but once you've dodged them, the rest of the fight is easy.
Chop Chop:
Use the Disc Blade Gun only. Even though it's really good, the Disc Blade Gun does not have much ammo, so use it wisely, or make the enemies hurt each other accidentally.
Sleep Inducer:
A good Rift Inducer can get you through this painlessly. Just put them in the middle and everything should be alright.
The Other White Meat:
This one is actually pretty easy too, since the Qwack-O-Ray doesn't use ammo. It's good to have it leveled up though, since it's not that powerful of a gun.
Championship Bout II
Another 24 rounder. Here with Sleeping Gas and Switching Weapons rounds. The same point in the first Championship Bout (except the timed rounds one) goes for this one as well. This one is actually easier than the first one, because of your better armory this time.
Qwarktastic Battle:
The Qwarktastic Battle has you up agains 100 rounds of torture. If you're lucky you still have a few Nanotech upgrades left that restores your health. You can get 3-5 of those in this loooong battle. Remember to strafe and have some good boss-related weapons for round 50 and 100 since that's where the two bosses are. A fully upgraded Plasma Coil, Annihilator, Lava Gun, Agents of Doom, Disc Blade Gun, Turret Glove and ESPECIALLY Rift Inducer works wonders. In between the first 33 rounds there will be timed rounds. Use the Lava Gun or Rift Inducer here. In between round 34 and 66 there are Sleeping Gas rounds. Use a weapon you're comfortable here. Don't worry you'll get your reduced health back after the rounds. In the last rounds there are Switching Weapons rounds. Here there are no strategy except for just waste all of the crappy ammo. Good luck.

[top]In-game Trophy Guide:
Toggle Spoiler
There are in-game trophies to be found/acquired. These can be viewed on Starship Phoenix in the room adjacent to the VR training room. There is a total of 15 trophies. There are two types of trophies. 9 trophies that can be found around the game, and 6 that requires you to do a certain deed. Below is a list of all of them. Notice that only 7 of the 15 trophies needs to be acquired to get the platinum, but I've listed them all anyways. If you acquire all trophies, you can visit the Insomniac Museum.
Ratchet (On Florana):
There is two big building you enter on the main path. Before grinding down from the second building look at the right side of the building. There are some ledges on the side of the building. Jump over the ledges to find this one.
Big Al (On Tyhrranosis):
There is this mission where you have to destroy four turrets. There is a rocky path with a minor pool before it, that leads to one of the turrets. On this path there are two Tyhrranoids on two different stone pillars. The trophy is on the stone pillar furthest away from the nearby building.
The Plumber (On Daxx):
Go to the room where you got the charge boots. Before jumping down, the trophy can be found on a ledge to the left.
Clank (On Holostar Studios):
You need to complete the planet once to get Clank again. Go through the level again until you get to a elevator powered by a Hacker puzzle, you've already done. Ride it up, but don't go inside. High-jump to an upper ledge over the elevator.
Scrunch (On Metropolis):
When you get to checkpoint on the planet turn 180 degrees and smash the window on the ledge above to find this one.
Dr. Nefarious (On Crash Site):
After the first big robot, there is a ledge to the right with a few medium-sized robots. It's on that ledge.
Qwark (At Qwark's Hideout):
Right before the Clank section and Qwark's chamber. It's in one of those small circular rooms the Qwark-bots spawns from.
Courtney Gears (On Koros):
When you get to a lot of black metallic crates you need to climb to proceed, get to the top and jump to the ledge to the back and left. In the circular room behind the glass is this one.
Lawrence (On Mylon):
You'll at some point have to use a Hacker to open a door. Before doing so, look at the raised platforms in the area you've just traversed. On one of them is this trophy. You can climb the raised platforms with the ladders on the side of them.
The rest of the trophies requires you to do this:
- Find all Titanium Bolts
- Acquire all Skill Points
- Complete all Ranger missions
- Acquire maximum nano (200)
- Fully upgrade all weapons
- Complete all Annihilation Nation challenges
