[top]Tips & Strategies

-Quick Time Events, a go-to for a lot of recent games, and pretty much a staple now for the Resident Evil Games, return once again in Resident Evil 6, and if you thought Resident Evil 5 had a lot of QTE's, then RE6 will change your mind on that. This game requires your full attention, because QTE's pop up every few minutes, and even on Amateur difficulty, missing a couple of these can really deal significant damage to you.

-The AI partner characters in this game are SOOOOOO much better than Resident Evil 5's Sheva character. The AI in Resident Evil 6 will stick much closer to you, fire a lot more frequently and a lot earlier at enemies, as well as their aim being better. Just because these improvements are there, doesn't mean that the AI are as good as another player now; I'd actually say they're only half as good. All trophies for this game can be unlocked in solo mode, or in local split screen, but for the easiest road to the platinum, I would highly recommend playing online with another player. Visit the Resident Evil 6 Official Boosting Thread to find a co-op partner

-With the addition of the campaign mode "Agent Hunt", players can now join other people's games and play as a creature, which can then go and attack the players playing as characters such as Leon, Chris, etc. I would highly recommend turning this off. There's nothing more frustrating than trying to find out where that Serpent Emblem is only to be stabbed in the back by some other player who's sole purpose in the game is to kill you and reset your progress a bit. It'd be even worse when playing on Professional difficulty.

-Speaking of Professional Difficulty, I have put in the road map that you can play on this difficulty right from the start, HOWEVER, you have been warned. Professional difficulty in this game is not as hard as Resident Evil 5, but you will be starting the game out with no weapons, no ammo, and no other items in your inventory. Items collected from previous playthroughs will remain in your inventory across all future playthroughs, until they're used. Also, by playing on a lower difficulty first, you can take more time to find emblems, search for skill point chests, and even look away from the screen at this guide without dying in half a second. Plus you can build up your skill point collection on a lower difficulty to then purchase infinite ammo for any weapon of your choosing.

-Now, having infinite ammo in a horror game is not a good thing at all because it ruins the experience. However Resident Evil 6 is so much more an action game rather than a horror game, so feel free to purchase these skills. When you purchase a skill for an infinite ammo weapon, you must then equip the skills in your skill tree in order to be able to use them. Please see the trophy Mad Skillz below for more details on how to equip skills.

-When playing co-op, weapons will be available for both players to pick up. This is somewhat different for items such as ammo, herbs and skill points. If an enemy that was killed drops 100 skill points on your screen, it might be shotgun ammo on your partner's screen. Same goes for any items found in broken boxes. One thing to note about this, is that if an enemy that is killed drops an item, the enemy will drop an item for both players, even if it's different on the screens.

-Press to bring up your objectives marker/current objective.
- brings in the in-game menu where you can change your skill sets/adjust game settings/compare stats with other players/restart from the beginning.
- to aim, to melee, + to fire your weapon.
- brings up your inventory menu, and tapping in this menu will switch from your items inventory to your weapons inventory. The D-Pad / is used to fast-switch weapons, and the D-Pad / fast-switches items such as grenades and first aid sprays.
-Certain weapons have different ammo types, such as the Grenade Launcher. To fast-switch ammo types, press and hold and then tap .
- or when held will make you run, and while running, tapping/holding will make you slide tackle, and tapping will make you perform a ram attack. will switch camera shoulders
- when held will bring the Partner menu, where from here you can give praise, diss, and give orders to your partner, as well as locate where they are

[top]Roadmap

Step 1: Complete the Campaign
It doesn't matter which characters' campaign you do first. Thanks to the v1.03 patch, Ada's campaign becomes available to play right from the start, but I would HIGHLY recommend you play her campaign last, as it explains A LOT of what happens in the other campaigns that doesn't get explained. For this play through, I would highly recommend just playing on Amateur, as it will make any non-story trophies much easier. Enemies take more damage from you, and deal less damage to you. Ammo is more abundant as well, which is going to be really helpful since you start out with no good weapons and no skill sets.

Step 2: Complete the Campaign on Professional

If you did end up playing on Professional difficulty for your first play through, you can skip this step.
If you did NOT play on Professional for your first play through, now is the time to do so. If you don't feel comfortable with the skills you have unlocked, or you want to get infinite ammo for a weapon, do some skill point farming first. Even though professional difficulty is pretty easy, especially when playing with a player-controlled partner, it still can be a bit of a challenge. Choose a skill setting that works for you and your play style, and don't forget that you can have up to 8 different skill trees, so customize all 8 in a different way. You can change these in game, so if the situation calls for a skill that you have in a different skill tree, you can easily switch them out by pressing and then scrolling to the Skills submenu, which will tun allow you to view each skill set. Press when you've found a skill set that you want to equip when the cursor is highlighting that skill set.

Step 3: Clean Up Trophies/Mercenaries
If you have any trophies that you missed while playing the campaign after Steps 1 & 2, then now is the time to go back and get them. Thanks to the v1.04 patch, you now have a more advanced Chapter select, with options now looking like Chapter 1-2. Use the guide to check which trophies can be obtained at which Chapter-Section, so this way you don't have to replay the entire chapter, just that one little section.

Also during this Step you should be focusing on getting skill points. Mercenaries is a pretty good place to farm these skill points, however there are certain points in the campaigns that grant even more skill points, often in a lesser amount of time. Check the very bottom of the guide for the Skill Point Farming section.
**NOTE: Mercenaries is totally optional, as there are no trophies that can only be unlocked in this game mode. It might make a few things easier, such as earning titles, skill points and getting weapon kills, but all 3 of those things can be done just as well, if not better, in the campaign.

Step 4: Platinum

Enjoy this shiny new platinum!!! Care to join me in a Plat Dance?

Ada's Campaign Note: As mentioned above, the patch update v1.03 for this game, Ada's Campaign becomes available to play without having played any of the other campaigns prior, which was a requirement before the patch. In order to play this campaign without playing the other campaigns, you must have the patch data installed onto your HDD. Also, if you do not have the v1. patch data installed, you will not be able to play Ada's campaign in co-op mode, local split screen or online, because the Agent character will not be available to be either AI-controlled or player-controlled. When playing on professional difficulty, it's best to have a human partner playing with you instead of an AI partner, but in Ada's campaign, you won't have any partner, so it's highly recommended that you download the patch.

You will always be playing as Leon in this section. If you're starting a new game from scratch, meaning you've never played this game before, you will need to play the prologue before starting anything else campaign related.

Leon's campaign is the "scary" one of the game. Since Leon was there in Raccoon City during the zombie outbreak, it seems fitting that his campaign's main enemies are zombies. Each chapter takes only about an hour to complete, maybe a little less if you run past all the enemies and skip all the cutscenes.

This trophy will unlock once you reach the score screen that tallies up your score based on your actions during the campaign, i.e. Accuracy, Completion time, Number of deaths, etc.

Leave It to the Pro
Complete the entire game on Professional

This game is pretty easy to complete, even on Professional difficulty. Playing with a human partner, rather than an AI partner, makes it even easier. Each chapter takes about an hour or so to complete, 5 chapters per character campaign, so you're looking at about 20 hours for one play through. It was rare that my partner or I died during our Professional difficulty play through from enemy damage. The only time we died numerous times was during Chris' campaign, where we had to flee the giant creature's hand that was destroying all the platforms. With the right skill set selected, and using the right weapons, and then combine those two factors with a human partner, you shouldn't have any problems at all on Professional.

As I said in the Tips & Strategies section, playing the game on a lesser difficulty will be much more beneficial to you than starting out on Professional, as you will have better skills unlocked and all the weapons ready to use, including any and all items you had from previous play throughs. You're going to need the skill points anyway, and there is no difference on skill point pick ups from playing on Amateur to playing on Professional.

Depending on your play style, you may want to change up your skill trees a bit. I personally switched between Firearm LV3/Defense LV3/Unlimited Shotgun Ammo and Firearm LV3/Defense LV3/Unlimited Assault Rifle Ammo, depending on which character I was using, and which weapon version they had. Whatever you choose, I would highly recommend always having Defense LV3 equipped, as it reduces all damage you take by 50%.

I have provided a Professional difficulty video guide for each chapter, in each individual story trophy above. All video credit goes to DJJOKER1989

Check Out My Dogs
Customize your dog tags

This trophy can be done at any point after you have completed the tutorial. You will need to go to the game's main menu, choose Play Game and then choose Dog Tags. You will need to change either the Template, Emblem or Title and then return to the previous menu after saving your current dog tag.

[top]
Titular Achievement
Earn 10 different titles

Titles are earned during the campaign/Agent Hunt/Mercenaries, and go on your dog tags for extra customization. You will earn 10 different titles after finishing a couple chapters. To get titles, you must do certain things like crawl on your back for XX meters, kill XXX number of J'avo, quick shot XX enemies, earn XX head shots, etc etc. Some of them are fairly simple and can be done in a couple seconds/minutes, others may take a few hours and numerous chapters to earn. Some titles also have different levels, represented by a star count. When you level up a title, it does NOT count as getting a new title.

Every once in awhile, go back to the game's main menu, choose Play Game and then Dog Tags, and from there you can see all the titles you've earned. Once you're in this menu and you've earned more than 10 titles, the trophy will unlock.

Please see the trophy Rising Up below for specifics on a few different titles.

**Note: You may need to reveal each title before the trophy unlocks. If titles have a gold star over them and nothing else, you will need to reveal it. Highlight it and press

One Is Better Than None
Purchase one skill

At the end of each chapter for every campaign, whether you're playing solo or co-op, you will be taken to the Skills menu before continuing to the next chapter. From here all you need to do is save up enough XP, which you get from fallen enemies, to purchase any 1 skill. I would recommend purchasing skills with levels to them before any other skill, so you can have less of a grind towards the trophy Mad Skillz.

The skill point pick ups look like these. The bigger the pick up is, the bigger the XP reward is.

Please see the trophy description below for more details on skills.

[top]
Mad Skillz
Max out all the skills that allow you to level up

Everyone loves to grind for trophies right? No? Well too bad, because this one will take you a long time. There are various places that skill points can be farmed pretty quickly, and without farming, you're looking at playing 2 playthroughs and a few additional chapters to reach the full amount of skill points you need to unlock this trophy. Which leads to what that amount is... 954,000. Yeah, bummer. You may need to purchase other skills in order to help you get through the game, such as Unlimited Ammo, which will only add on to this number. I do highly recommend you purchase at least one Unlimited Ammo skill however, for the Professional difficulty play through.

On No Hope difficulty, which is unlocked via the v1.04 patch, and is a lot harder than Professional difficulty, skill point values are doubled. So instead of skill point values ranging from 50 to 10,000, they now range from 100 to 20,000.

Below is a video guide on how to equip skill points, each skill point pick up value, as well as some more recommendations on equipped skill sets:

The skills in red are ones that I would recommend saving to purchase until later because they aren't as useful or they don't come in handy too often. Feel free to purchase and unlock these skills in any order you want. "Field Medic" is gray because it's a skill that can only be used while playing solo with an AI controlled partner.

Silent Killer
Use a stealth attack to take down five enemies

To perform a stealth kill, you need to walk up behind an enemy that is unaware of your presence, and you need to tap when the QTE appears. Stealth kills are always 1-hit kills. There are many places throughout all 4 campaigns that have enemies just kind of lulling about where you can easily sneak up behind them, but as soon as you alert an enemy, that enemy can no longer be stealth killed because it will keep coming after you.

If you want to get this trophy out of the way as soon as possible, what you can do is start playing Chris's Campaign (if you have already started it/completed it, go to chapter select and start on Chapter 1-3). Your objective on the left side of your screen will be "Get to the roof". You will be on a metal staircase, with 1 J'avo ahead of you and another farther up the stairs. For this one, since the J'avo are have a much easier time at taking notice of your presence, you need to pretty much bum rush the first J'avo and then immediately keep heading up the stairs to get the 2nd J'avo. If you don't manage to get both, that's fine, as long as you got the first J'avo (the 2nd J'avo will take notice of you most of the time before you can get to him). Reload the checkpoint and farm until the trophy unlocks.

Below is a video guide of the location mentioned and where each J'avo is located:

Finish What You Start
Perform a coup de grace on ten enemies

GLITCHED TROPHY

This trophy requires you to perform a signature melee move (basically a finisher move) to kill 10 enemies. To melee, simply tap when not aiming in with your weapon. THIS IS VERY DIFFERENT THAN JUST SIMPLY PERFORMING A MELEE HIT WITH . In order to perform a coup de grāce that kills an enemy, you must either:
A) WOUND that enemy to the point where they drop to their knees BUT ARE STILL ALIVE, or
B) stun the enemy using a flash bang grenade, quick shot or explosive device that knocks them off balance or stuns them.

will pop up like normal when you approach the enemy, but instead of doing a normal melee, you will perform a signature move that is specific to the character you're playing as. You can do this on any enemy, though the larger ones work a lot better for this as they will drop to their knees more than easier enemies such as zombies.

The above description on how to accurately perform a coup de grāce on an enemy should clear up any confusion there, but it is somewhat unrelated to why this trophy is glitched. If you check your titles in the Dog Tags section, you can see just how many of these things you have performed. For some people, the trophy pops once they reached 10, others it pops well after 10, and my cousin's popped after only performing a couple coup de grāce' because for some reason kills with the regular melee counted. This will unlock at some point, so just keep playing and performing coup de grāce' on enemies until it pops.

Bob and Wave
Counter an enemy's attack three times in row

GLITCHED TROPHY

Playing in co-op will make this trophy easier, because the AI characters will be shooting at all the enemies and will most likely kill them all before you get up to the full counter chain.

This trophy's wording is a bit weird. It reads like you have to counter a single enemy's attacks 3 times in a row, which there aren't many enemies that allow you to do that because of their low overall health. I personally got this trophy by countering a Bloodshot during Leon's Campaign. I countered the same Bloodshot 3 times. However numerous people have gotten the trophy by countering 3 enemies and their attacks. My cousin actually got this trophy by countering a zombie, and it died. So he moved on to the next one, countered it and it died, and then repeated the process for the third one and the trophy unlocked. Basically, unlike the trophy description, you do NOT need to perform 3 counters on 1 enemy, you can do them on multiple enemies.

Anyway, to counter an enemy's attack, you need to be really close to it, and once the enemy begins it's attack on you, you will have a brief second to tap counter the attack. If you time it right, you will dodge the attack and then attack the enemy while it's still finishing the attack that just missed. You can get this trophy done pretty much right away on the first 1/2/3 enemies you encounter, just be warned about doing it on Professional difficulty, as missing the QTE will result in taking massive, near-fatal damage. Missing the QTE or if another enemy hits you before you reach 3 counters in a row, you must restart the counter chain again from 0. I would recommend going for this on Amateur as enemies deal way less damage if you miss the QTE, and they take a lot longer to attack you, which is great if you get surrounded trying to counter.

**Note: There have been reports of this trophy not unlocking after performing 3 counters in a row, but seems to unlock fine if you add one or two extra counters, so that you have a total of 4 or 5 counters in a row. When going for this trophy, you might want to add in an extra counter or two just to be safe.

Here are two video guides showing you how to counter. The first one shows examples of each character's counter animation, as well as enemy-specific counter animations, while the second shows how to unlock the trophy.

Down, Not Out
Defeat an enemy while dying, then recover without any help

Dying, in Resident Evil 6 is like the "Bleeding Out" state in Call of Duty, the only difference being that you can actually get up without anyone else reviving you, just as the trophy says. While you're in the Dying state, you will have access to whatever weapon you went down with, and you can slowly crawl as well as do a slow sideways roll-over. At the bottom of your screen, you will see a thin black bar that will slowly fill with red from one side to the other. Once it has been fully filled with red, you will get up and live to fight another day. While in this state, your partner can come over to you and revive you using health herbs/sprays or by giving you a shot of adrenaline (which won't restore any of your health except for just enough to get you back up).

To unlock this trophy, you need to get at least 1 kill while you're in this dying state, and then get back up after that bar fills complete with red WITHOUT ANY HELP FROM YOUR CO-OP PARTNER, whether it be AI controlled or player controlled. Sounds easy, but while you're in this state, your movement and aiming is slowed waaaaaaay down, so even if theres only one enemy near you, you still might not be able to kill him in time. All it takes is just one hit from an enemy to finish you off when you're Dying.

It's best to do this trophy while playing with a human player who knows you're going to be doing this. If you're playing with an AI partner, they will most likely revive you before that bar has finished filling up (unless you have the "Lone Wolf" skill equipped). If you're playing with a random and don't announce that you're going to be doing this, they might and most likely will revive you before you can revive yourself.

Lifesaver
Help or rescue your partner ten times

This is a pretty easy trophy, especially if playing with an AI-controlled partner.

In order to "help or save" your partner, they need to be attacked and grappled by an enemy, which will send them into a quick-time event (if your partner is player-controlled). What you need to do is run over to them and press when near the enemy that is grappling them, and you will performa a melee move, freeing your partner from its grasp. You will know when your partner becomes grappled by an enemy because a circular symbol with the word HELP flashing in it in all caps will be displayed on your screen in the direction of your partner.

Weapons Master

For this trophy, you will need to get at least 10 kills with certain weapons, listed below, in any game mode. Once you get the 10th kill for the final weapon, the trophy will unlock. Certain weapons are only carried by certain characters, so you may need to go back and replay a chapter or two.

Give a Little Push
Knock ten enemies off a high place

This trophy requires you to push 10 enemies over ledges so that they fall to their death. There aren't too many of these located in the game, definitely not as much as enemies that you can stealth kill, but you shouldn't have a problem getting this trophy through natural gameplay.

If you find yourself short a few kills after you've finished all the campaigns, or just want to farm this as soon as possible to get it out of the way, please refer to the section of the game listed in the trophy description for the trophy Silent Killer above

Earn a level-four title

Going to back the trophy Titular Achievement, this trophy requires you to earn titles by completing certain actions in the campaign/Agent Hunt/Mercenaries modes. As mentioned in the description for that trophy, titles are customizable items for your dog tags, and you need physically check the Titles section in the Dog Tags menu for this trophy to unlock. Once you enter that menu and you have unlocked a LV4 title (represented by the title name along with 4 stars under it), this trophy will pop.

Some examples of LV4 titles are:
My Skills (Earn 200,000 skill points)
Enjoying the Scenery (Walk For 5,000 meters)
Rock Hard Buns (Traverse 500 meters on your backside)
Headshot Master (Make a headshot 1,000 times)
Zombie Hunter (Kill 3,000 Zombies)
J'avo Hunter (Kill 3,000 J'avo)

They're ACTION Figures!
Collect 3 figures

This trophy requires a few different steps in order to unlock:

Step 1: Find all the Serpent Emblems in a chapter.

Step 2: Repeat Step 1 twice more.

Step 3: Quit to the game's main menu, and choose Special Features. From there head over to the Collections menu.

Step 4: Once you're here, press on whichever character's jukebox you found all the Serpent Emblems in for those 3 chapters. You should see the figures there on the far right side of the jukebox. If they're not there, press the button on the farthest right square with the gold star in it. You may also need to hit the button on every other square that has a gold star in it in order for this trophy to unlock.

Step 5: Enjoy this trophy and that wonderful ding the unlocking makes.

Stuntman
Defeat 20 enemies with the Hydra using a quick shot

Most will remember the Hydra Triple-Barrel Shotgun from Resident Evil 5. In Resident Evil 6, the Hydra is a weapon that only Helena can get and use, so for this trophy you must be playing as Helena, in Leon's Campaign.

To perform a quick shot, you must tap both and at the same time while facing an enemy. The quick shot is basically shooting the gun after pointing it towards the enemy without really aiming. Quick shots aren't as accurate as aiming in with , and often don't do that much damage, only enough to stun the enemy, depending on the weapon in use. Since you need to kill 20 enemies using the Hydra, stick with just killing zombies. Get in close to them and pull off a quick shot and it should be a 1-hit kill; if it isn't, tap both and again.

Kills achieved through quick shots with the Hydra carry over between checkpoints, chapters as well as playthroughs, however you shouldn't need to grind this trophy as you can get it done on the first 20 enemies you come across.

Bring the Heat
Take down an enemy 50 meters away with a headshot using the thermal scope

This trophy requires you to play as Piers, because his Anti-Material Rifle is the ply gun in the game with a thermal scope.

There are hardly any places in Chris' campaign where there are enemies that are more than 50 meters away, but the best place to get this done, and also is where I got this trophy, is on the bridge in Chapter 2-2 while defending Chris and the other BSAA Agents. Chris will ask you to provide cover fire while he retrieves a wounded agent. From where you're located, stand as far back as you can, equip the Anti-Material Rifle, and aim in. Find an enemy that is the farthest away from you, and snipe him in the face. You must get a headshot for this trophy to unlock.

If this location doesn't work well for you, continue on in the same chapter to where Piers is on the bridge with Chris after they reunite. You will be tasked to defend a position at the end of the bridge. Again, back up as far as you can and aim in with the Anti-Material Rifle at a J'avo and get a headshot.

Zombie Massacre
Defeat 500 zombies

Just as the trophy states, massacre your way through 500 zombies. Zombies are found almost exclusively in Leon's campaign, however there are a few sections during both Ada's and Jake's campaign where there are zombies. You are 99.9% guaranteed to get this trophy without any farming during just Leon's campaign alone, so don't worry too much if your partners is racking up a few extra kills.

There's not much more I can say about this trophy, so here's a creepy zombie from this game:

J'avo Genocide
Defeat 500 J'avo

Just as this trophy states, create your very own genocide of 500 J'avo. J'avo are the main enemies found throughout both Chris' and Jake's campaign, and are more common than zombies in Ada's campaign. Like the trophy Zombie Massacre, you will not need to farm this one, as it will definitely come through natural gameplay.

Again, not much more I can say about this trophy, so feast your eyes on this appetizing sight:

B.O.W.s Are Ugly
Defeat 100 enemies that have come out of a chrysalid

First off, this is a picture of what a chrysalid looks like:

Now for this trophy, you need to defeat 100 creatures that come out of these things. These are found in all 4 campaigns but are found in abundance in Chris' campaign. However, after completing all 4 campaigns, you may still need to grind a little bit for this trophy. Chapter 5 in Chris' campaign is best to do this, and even better on Professional difficulty, as the chrysalids on the conveyor belts will spawn faster.

I Prefer Them Alive
Rescue two female survivors at the cathedral

This trophy can only be obtained during Leon's Campaign, Chapter 2-3

After you finally gain access to the cathedral and open up the fireplace using the statues, a very large enemy will come out, releasing a poisonous gas into the air that turns people into zombies in just a mere couple seconds. While the enemy is emitting this gas, the survivors that were in the cathedral will begin running around and panicking. To unlock this trophy, you need to kill the flatulent enemy before it kills off the female survivors. Zombies created by this creature. can also attack and kill others, so keep an eye on them Now, the trophy only requires you to save 2 (or more), and there are females in the cathedral to begin with. If any male characters die, or if all of them die, don't worry, you're only having to keep at least 2 females alive.

I got this on my first try without even realizing what I did, so it's not that difficult, especially if you're playing on Amateur and/or with skills that upgrade you weapon damage. I would highly recommend doing both of those, because it'll make this trophy super easy.

Flying Ace
Pilot the VTOL without getting a scratch on it

This trophy can only be unlocked during Chris' campaign, while playing as Chris, during Chapter 4-5. For co-op ONLY, if the player playing as Chris fills the requirements for this trophy, then both that player and the player controlling Piers will earn he trophy. Also as a note on the previous, if you play as Piers on solo, with Chris being controlled by the AI, it is still possible for you to earn this trophy as long as the AI can successfully avoid all incoming missiles, bullets from enemy helicopters and AA gun fire.

For this trophy, during the sequence where Chris and Piers are in a fighter jet trying to stop a missile armed with a warhead full of the gas that the creature from Leon's campaign farted out from launching into a city, you will need to avoid all incoming missiles shot from the carrier, as well as all AA gun fire and the helicopters flying the skies and their bullets. Use to do a barrel roll with the jet to avoid the missiles. The enemy fire from the AA guns are pretty easy to avoid without even trying. The helicopters will rarely fire on you, so your main concern with them is to avoid running into them, which actually is slightly harder than it sounds, as the jet controls aren't too good. Fly the plane around the carrier so that Piers can fire on the AA guns. While you're doing that, you as Chris can shoot down the helicopters.

This trophy can only be done in Jake's campaign, while playing as Jake. For co-op ONLY, if the person playing as Jake fulfills the requirements for this trophy, then both that player and the player controlling Sherry will earn the trophy.

During the scene in Chapter 4-2, where you and Sherri meet up in the firefight with Chris and Pierce, you will be facing a helicopter that's attacking you along with the J'avo. At one point, you and Chris will split up, both trying to take down the helicopter before the other pair. It's at this time that you, playing as Jake, will need to attack the helicopter with whatever weapons you have, but not too much. If you manage to damage it enough without killing it, and the helicopter survives Chris's attacks as well, it will then hover over the ground for a few seconds, at which point then Jake gets the :square: button prompt when standing next to a rope dangling from the helicopter to climb it. Even if you do not have the magnum handgun on you, Jake will magically produce one when he gets tot the top of the ladder, where he shoots the pilot's face off his head.

Sneaking Around
Get through the aircraft carrier's bridge area without being noticed

This trophy can only be obtained during Ada's Campaign, Chapter 4-2, and is best done while playing solo.

If you remember during Chris' Campaign, there is a sequence on the bridge of the carrier where you have to fight a bunch of enemies. This sequence during Ada's Campaign Chapter 4 is the same location, but takes place prior to Chris' arrival to the location.

The reason this trophy is best done in solo is because Ada's silent partner Agent is no longer there, and when you're trying to remain undetected, it's harder to do so when you have 2 players controlling 2 different characters.

Once you see Chris & Piers coming up in an elevator, you will need to remain undetected from that point on. The only difficult part about this trophy is the searchlight section, because the searchlight would often see Ada even though she was fully behind a barricade and there would be absolutely no way that she could've been detected. If this happens, or if you get spotted at any other point before the trophy unlocks, simply restart the checkpoint.

Below is a video guide of the entire sequence that you need to remain undetected and which enemies are where:

Covered in Brass
Earn 150 different medals

Medals are obtained for completing certain actions during the campaign, such as reaching a certain accuracy percentage, getting a certain amount of kills, finishing in a certain amount of time, etc. When you finish the campaign chapter, the next screen that pops up will be the screen that displays the medals you've obtained; the screen after that will be where you would purchase skills and arrange your skill trees.

Basically you need to obtain 150 DIFFERENT medals, which shouldn't be a problem if you play on Amateur difficulty, then followed by a second play through on professional. Try to kill enemies with different weapons/grenades, getting a certain amount of melee kills, as well as purposely completing the chapter in an excessive amount of time/getting a terribly low accuracy percentage by shooting a few clips at nothing, etc. There are a total of 175 different medals in the campaign alone.

If you find yourself somehow without 150 medals after playing 2 playthroughs of the campaigns, head on over to Mercenaries/Agent Hunt for extra medals. A couple playthroughs of either will reward you with the remaining medals you need. There are 89 total medals found in Agent Hunt and Mercenaries mode combined.
