Glitched Trophies:
Finish What You Start seems to have some issues registering. [top]Tips & Strategies
- All trophies are listed in XMB order, making it easier for you to navigate through the guide.
- While there are no online trophies you might find it easier to play with another skilled player when going for
Leave it to the Pro. Check out The Official Resident Evil 6 Boosting Thread and team up! - Even though this game is an action shooter, ammo is scarce in Resident Evil 6. However, the game features a large variety of melee attacks. Make sure to learn how to chain your shooting and your melee attacks together for some nice combos. Looks awesome and saves loads of ammo. Shoot an enemy a couple of times until it staggers, then finish it off with a nice Coup de Grāce animation.

- Always be prepared for random quick time events and for some frantic wiggling of the left stick of your controller. This seems to be a key element of the game design.
- You have to collect the weapons with both characters if you want to use them with both. Example: You decide to play the second chapter of Chris' campaign as Piers, because you want to get that trophy and that one darned serpent emblem. You'll collect the shotgun in this level with Piers. If you switch back to Chris for chapter 3 he won't have the shotty. You will find tons of ammo for it though.
Unlike in RE5 there is no way of swapping stuff with your partner, so... well. - In coop, all items are there for both players. If Player A grabs the shotty, it will still be there for Player B. Same counts for the emblems though: Both players will have to shoot them to collect them.
- If you decide to play coop on your first run make sure that both players complete the entire chapter. If you join the game in the middle of a chapter you won't obtain the trophy for the completion of it. If you get disconnected the host has to quit the game, re-invite and continue from the last auto-save. You'll lose some progress but both players will get the trophy for the chapter completion. Thanks to flyingturk for the info.

1. Step: Beat the entire game on Amateur or Normal
While professional difficulty is available right from the start in Resident Evil 6 there is really no reason to make your life miserable by starting the game on the hardest difficulty. If you want a challenge go ahead and do it; the difficulty trophies stack and you can get all of them out of the way at once. However, you'll need a shitload of skill points on your journey to plat for
Mad Skillz anyway, so beating the game twice is by no means a waste of time.

RESIDENT EVIL Platinum Trophy: Complete the entire game on Amateur and Normal. If you decide to follow my roadmap you'll get 70% of the trophies out of the way on your first run. Make sure to save some skill points to buy infinite ammo for your weapon of choice after you've beaten the game. Proceed to step 2 and beat the game on pro. After that, all that's left to do is clean up and some grinding for skill points. Easy as pie.
1.1. Leon's Campaign*
*Of course you can play the first three campaigns in a different order. However, I'd recommend starting with Leon since you can obtain a vast amount of misc trophies in this campaign.

1.1. Leon's Campaign*
*Of course you can play the first three campaigns in a different order. However, I'd recommend starting with Leon since you can obtain a vast amount of misc trophies in this campaign.
Chapter 1:
- Complete the chapter to obtain the story related trophy
Gone to Hell. - after you've beaten the chapter you should purchase your first skill for
One is Better Than None. I highly recommend getting Item Drop Increase first. - You should have collected more than enough titles to unlock
Titular Achievement from the main menu. Also get
Check Out My Dogs while you are at it.
- On the cemetery there is a good opportunity to earn
Bob and Wave. - Once you've solved the puzzle in the cathedral go for
I Prefer Them Alive. - If you are playing with the AI I recommend going for
Down, Not Out while you are in the catacombs. - Near the end of the chapter there is a good farming spot for
Give A Little Push and
Silent Killer. - Complete the chapter to obtain the story related trophy
Buried Secrets.
- Complete the chapter to obtain the story related trophy
Get on the Plane. - During this or the next chapter
Zombie Massacre will unlock. - If you've collected all the Serpent Emblems so far you can unlock
They're not ACTION figures! from the main menu now.
- You might want to farm some Coup de Grace kills at the very beginning of the chapter for
Finish What You Start, since this trophy is a bit glitchy. - Complete the chapter for the story related trophies
Bit Trouble in China
- Start the chapter with Helena and go for
Stuntman. At the end of the chapter you'll earn the story related trophy
The Trouble with Women.
Chapter 1:
- Start with Sherry or you won't be able to obtain the third Serpent Emblem in this chapter! While you are playing with her you should go for
High Voltage. At the end of the chapter you'll earn the story related trophy
Money Talks.
- Complete both chapters for the story related trophies
A Revolting Development and
Let's Blow That Joint.
- If you want to get both all Serpent Emblems and the special character related trophy in this chapter you'll have to start it twice. First, start the chapter with Sherry and shoot the first Serpent Emblem (see
Heirlooms for its location). After this is done, quit to the main menu and restart the chapter with Jake. Make sure to earn
Hard Choice before finishing the chapter for the story related trophy
Still On The Run.
- Nothing special in this chapter. Simply complete the campaign to earn the last story related trophy
See You Around.
Chapter 1:
- Complete the first chapter for the story related trophy
Rescue the Hostages.
- There are two very good reasons to play with Piers in this chapter: One is the second serpent emblem which can only be obtained by Piers, the second it the trophy
Bring the Heat, which can only be obtained while playing as Piers. Complete the chapter for
Tragedy in Europe.
- Complete the chapter for the story related trophy
After Her!. You should also have gotten
J'avo Genocide by now. If you haven't, stop being a pacifist.
- This is one of the few chapters you'll have to complete twice. The very last emblem can only be obtained while playing as Piers, while it is almost impossible to obtain
Flying Ace with an AI jet pilot (it's not impossible though, if you get extremely lucky and the AI dodges every missile the trophy will unlock). Even if you played with a human partner only one of you would be able to shoot the emblem. At the end of the chapter you'll obtain
There's Always Hope.
- Complete Chris' campaign and a trophy with the fitting name
Duty Calls will unlock.
Chapters 1, 2 and 3:
- Complete first three chapters for the story related trophies
I Spy,
Counterintelligence and
This Takes Me Back.
- Make sure to obtain
Sneaking Around before finishing the chapter for the story related trophy
Ada's Demise.
- Complete the final chapter of Ada's story line for
What's Next?. If you were playing on normal you'll also unlock
Green around the Ears and
Normal is Good. If you decided to play on Veteran or Pro right away you'll even unlock 3 or all 4 of the difficulty trophies. If you were playing on amateur you'll only get the bronze one now... but three of them at once after having beaten the game on pro.
2. Step: Beat the entire game on Professional
- Professional is a joke with the right skills equipped. Race through the game, clean up and trophies you may have missed and after you've completed every chapter on pro you'll be awarded
Leave it to the Pro and all other difficulty trophies you might still have been missing. - Check out your progress for
Weapons Master in the Weapons section of the Records menu. If you don't want to have too much clean up work to do later now is the time to plan ahead. - Chances are that you also got
B.O.W.s Are Ugly during this run. If you haven't don't worry, you'll get it in the next step at the latest.
3. Step: Clean up and Skill Point Farming
- There shouldn't be much left to clean up really. If
Covered in Brass didn't already unlock you should at least be really close by now. Play some rounds of Agent Hunt and Mercenaries for some easy new medals. - Start farming Skill Points. If you enjoy Mercenaries, play Mercenaries. Otherwise use the method described in the trophy description for
Mad Skillz in this guide for some fast and easy skill points. Eventually you'll unlock this golden gem. Proceed to step 4.
4. Step: Platinum

Follow your marker until you meet the professor. He is going to tell you that he's trying to find his daughter. Being Leon Kennedy you offer to help. You'll find his daughter, but she won't last long. She is gonna turn in the elevator. Get rid of her and continue. You have to find your way outside. This section is pretty straightforward. If you are unsure where to go just press
to display the Objective Display Marker.
Once outside, you'll find your escape gate locked. Hunnigan will redirect you to another hallway. Try to open the door at its end and you'll trigger an alarm. The noise will attract a shitload of zombies. Fight them off until Hunnigan has hacked the alarm system. You can shoot the fire extinguisher sitting on the bench for some massive damage. Once the door is open get the keycard and leave the area. Ignore the metal detectors and just cross the room. Outside on the street press and hold
to sprint and jump over any obstacles. You'll find a car. Get inside and start searching for the keys. You'll find it in the sun visor. Follow the QTE promts to start the car and escape.
After a short cutscene you'll continue your journey through the subway tunnels. Keep following your Objective Marker and avoid being run over by the subway trains. You'll come to a locked subway train. To open it, boost Helena to its roof. Make your way through the train, then place a remote mine in front of the closed shutter before helping the lady to open the door. Kill some zombies, then leave the subway area for the streets.
You'll come to an apartment with some dead people watching the news. Trying to leave you'll find the back door locked. Get the key, kill the zombie, leave the area and don't forget to pick up the shotty.
You'll meet your first screamer. Say hello and shoot its throat. After that, you'll get separated. You'll have to boost Helena over a gate so she can unlock it for Leon. Fend off the zombies until she is done. Follow the path until you get to a gas station. Help them as good as you can, after some time an army vehicle will crash into the gas station. You can shoot the gas all day long - it won't explode until some wisecrack has told you it might be a good idea to shoot the gas.
That's RE6, the game does the thinking for you.
You and your bunch of survivors will end up in a gun shop. The owner isn't exactly happy to see you because you got a million zombies chasing you. He'll lock the door to the second floor. Keep killing everything that looks braindead until it's quite enough for him to let you in. On the second floor, another horde of zombies will attack the group. Keep fending them off until the Japanese kid manages to close the shutters, then leave the area. You'll be introduced to your first Whopper. Yummy! Kill him, then keep fighting off all the enemies on the rooftop until your party will be able to escape using the fire ladders.
In the bus keep shooting at the Whopper's head until he drops down. Otto the bus driver will run him over, ending chapter 1 of Leon's campaign.

Best place to crash your bus after a zombie apocalypse? A graveyard!
Follow the path until you get to a gate. The key is in a nearby shed, unfortunately a dog runs off with it. Hunt that bitch down to get the key, then open the door. Boom! Separated.
Keep following the way markers to reunite. There are a couple of screamers around, kill them for juicy skill points.
The survivors in the church turn out to be real pricks; they won't let you in even though there would have been enough time. You'll have to fend of a couple of waves of enemies before they'll let you in. Halfway through some genius even has the brilliant idea to ring the church bells. Get some skill points while you are at it; after a set amount of time they'll let you in eventually.
Once inside, approach the altar. The passageway is closed, you'll have to solve a 'puzzle' to open it. All you need to do it to place two madonna statues. The first can be found near the altar, the second is in a chest on the second floor. Boost Helena up so she will unlatch a ladder for Leon. Placing both statues will open a door on the first floor. Pull the lever in the room behind it; some statues will start shooting bolts at you. Keep zig-zagging through the room to avoid being hit and switch them off with
when you are near them. Same thing in the next room. After that, you'll have to light up some dishes with your laser pointer. If you are having trouble locating one of them, simply press
. Capcom really seems to think gamers are rather dumb. However, grab the first statue, then head outside and shoot all five church bells to open the gate to the second one.
Place both statues to open the passage way behind the altar. Whoohoo! Boss fight time! Lepotitsa's favorite attack is farting blue smoke out of his 1000 assholes. Keep away from him and keep attacking him with your heaviest weapons (Sniper Rifle and Shotgun are recommended here). As soon as he kneels down, run up to him and melee his ass. Be quick about it and you'll be awarded
I Prefer Them Alive.
You'll come to an holding area. The code to exit the first cell block is 210, to open the door between the second cell block and the interrogation room punch in 021. At the end of this section you'll find another door. Open it with 201 to exit the holding area. Next thing you'll have to cope with is a switch 'puzzle'. Again, the game is telling you exactly what to do. Lower one switch after another, press
if you can't find the way.
Welcome to the mineshaft area! If you are playing as Helena all you have to do is to carry your sister. Leon's job is to protect the ladies. At the end of this passage it's boss fight time again! After a short fight Debby will crush the floor, separating Leon and Helena. Make your way down to the bottom to fight her. Aim for the glowing parts of Deborah's tentacles. When she jumps up to the upper walkway shoot the barrels when she is near them. After you have dealt a set amount of damage she will writhe on her back and a single tentacle will emerge from here. Use a melee attack on that ugly thing for some heavy damage. After some time, Deborah will smash the floor again and the final part of the chapter begins.
Whoohoo! Mine-carting! If you are playing as Leon it's your job to get the cart going. While fighting Debby in the mine cart try to stay at the back of the cart. To avoid the obstacles you might want to pull the left stick back and press
so you gonna lie on your back for the fight. Of course you have to stand up to shoot the explosive barrels on the track. At the end of the chapter you'll need to shoot the glowing part of Deborah's tentacle in order to rescue Helena. If you are playing with Leon you'll have to rescue Ada first though.

Complete the entire game on Professional
The difficulty trophies in Resident Evil 6 stack, so you could start playing on pro right from the beginning to get all four difficulty trophies at once. However, I wouldn't really recommend doing this, unless you're looking for a challenge. Two reasons:
- The difficulty you are playing on doesn't affect the skill points you'll receive and you'll need a shitload of skill points for
Mad Skills anyway, so playing the game twice doesn't hurt. - While the game is tough on pro if you don't have unlocked and levelled certain skills it becomes a walk in the park with a good combination of skills. So unless you are a fan of action shooters with a notorious lack of ammo beat the game twice to avoid frustration.

Customize your dog tags

Customize your dog tags
To customize your dog tag go to Play Game in the Main Menu and select Dog Tags. You can change the Template, the Emblem and the Title. You will be awarded your first new template for completing the first chapter of the game. The emblems are basically the trophy images. Earned a trophy you are particularly proud of? Put it on your dog tag if you don't have anything better to do. Titles are awarded for a number of different in-game achievements (see
Titular Achievement below). Just change something on your dog tag and leave. The game will auto-save and you'll be awarded an easy bronze. Why not put it on your dog tag right away?

Earn 10 different titles
Titles are in-game achievements in Resident Evil 6 which can be used to customize your Dog Tags. There is a total of 135 titles in this game and they can be earned for almost everything: Walking, dashing, helping or receiving help, melee attacks, head shots, kills and so on... Youll get 10 titles in no time, probably while playing the first chapter. However, the trophy won't unlock right away. You'll have to check out your titles in the Dog Tags option in the Play Game menu.

Purchase one skill

Purchase one skill
Right after the first chapter (not the tutorial) you'll get the opportunity to spend the skill points you've collected on some awesome new skills. While it is completely up to you which skills you wanna buy I'd highly recommend going for the Item Drop Increase as early as possible. The reason is that this will not only increase the amount of bullets dropped but also the amount of skill points you'll get.
Right after you've bought your first skill the trophy will pop.

Max out all the skills that allow you to level up

Max out all the skills that allow you to level up
The good news is: You do not need to buy all the skills in order to achieve this trophy. Just as the trophy description says, you'll just need to buy and max out all the skills that allow you to level up. It's pretty easy to determine which skills are needed for this trophy: If it says 'Level ...' after the skill name you need it.
This being said you still need a total of 954,000 skill points to buy everything you need for this trophy. If you are really good at The Mercenaries you'll find it pretty easy to rack up skill points in this game mode. However, if you suck at Mercenaries or if you simply can't be arsed to play it there is another good farming spot. Choose Chris' chapter 5 via chapter select, then run through the beginning of the chapter until you get to the circular room with the countdown. Pull all the levers and kill the B.O.W. for tons of skill points. Difficulty doesn't affect the skill points awarded, so it's recommended to do this on amateur. Once you are done, open the door and skip the cutscene. You'll notice the little typewriter icon in the upper left corner. This means your 20k skill points are being saved.
Quit the game, rinse and repeat. One run takes about 8 minutes, so you can get up to 2,500 skill points per minute using this method.
Here are all the skills which are relevant for this trophy:

Use a stealth attack to take down five enemies
To perform a stealth attack you have to approach an unsuspecting enemy from behind and press
once you are near enough. If everything went as planned you character will perform a melee attack which will instantly kill your opponent. You don't even need to sneak for that, I got a lot of 'stealth kills' randomly, while I was mashing the melee button in crowded areas. However, the easiest way to obtain this trophy is to farm stealth kills. This way, you can get both this trophy and
Give a Litte Push done pretty quickly and easily.
There are two very good spots for this. The first one is near the end of the second chapter of Leon's campaign. Down in the catacombs you'll come to an area with a some rope bridges. There is gonna be a rather inattentive zombie on the very first of these bridges. Run up to it and press
to throw it off the bridge. This will count as both a stealth kill and as a 'little push'. Restart from the last checkpoint, rinse and repeat until both trophies unlock.
If you should have missed this opportunity there is another one at the beginning of the first chapter of Chris' campaign. About 15 in you'll come to a set of metal stairs with an enemy who has his back turned to you. Conveniently enough he is standing next to the railing. Sneak up to him and throw him off the stairs, reload your checkpoint and rinse and repeat until you got both trophies. Credits for this second location go to PowerPyx. Perform a coup de grace on ten enemies

Perform a coup de grace on ten enemies
This trophy might be a bit glitchy. Many people reported that, according to their dog tag titles or their Weapons section in the 'Records' menu, they got way more than the required number of Coup de Grāce kills but still no trophy. Actually it should be pretty simple: You are supposed to finish off an enemy with a melee attack. However, a lot of this finishing moves don't seem to count for this trophy. I got it randomly towards the end of Leon's campaign, after I had executed dozens upon dozens of Coup de Grāce kills throughout the game. However, PowerPyx found a strategy that works. Right at the beginning of chapter four of Leon's campaign you will have to fight another Lepotitsa. Shoot it until it kneels down and perform a normal melee attack with

Counter an enemy's attack three times in row

Counter an enemy's attack three times in row
Obviously you'll need an attack to counter to begin with. Wait for an enemy (preferably a zombie, this doesn't seem to work with J'avo) to attack you. Once it swings you'll get a quick time prompt. Press
at the right moment and your character will perform a counter attack. If you've killed your enemy with your counter attack, which is most likely gonna happen after the first or second counter attack, simply counter another enemy. After the third counter the trophy should unlock. If it doesn't, add a fourth or a fifth counter, some people have reported some issues with this trophy. A good place to attempt this is the graveyard in chapter two of Leon's campaign. There is a nice video walkthrough by PowerPyx in the spoiler box below, showing you how it's done.

Defeat an enemy while dying, then recover without any help

Defeat an enemy while dying, then recover without any help
Just like in RE5 it is possible to help a dying team mate. However, when you are dying in Resident Evil 6 the game also offers you the opportunity to save your own ass! If you are out of health the final blow will knock you to the ground. You'll hear your heartbeat pounding in your ears while your life force is slowly leaving you. However, your survival instinct is still intact. Press
to ready your weapon and keep defending yourself. You'll notice a red bar in the middle of the screen. Keep defending yourself without getting hit until this bar is full and voilį - you just cheated death!
The easiest way to get this trophy is with a human partner (or with a second controller
). The AI will constantly be coming to your rescue, spoiling every opportunity to earn this trophy. If you want to obtain this trophy with an AI parter you can do two things: You could buy a skill for 100 skill points which prevents your partner from helping you. The skill is called 'Lone Wolf'. However, if you don't want to waste your skill points for a totally moronic skill like that you can just wait till chapter two of Leon's story line. Helena will be carrying someone, making it impossible for her to help you. Find a couple of enemies, let them knock you out, then crawl away and shoot them until you've recovered. You must kill at least one of them in the process to meet the trophy requirements.

If you check out your titles in the Dog Tags option in the Play Game menu you'll notice that they have stars on them. That's the rank of your title. To level up a title you simply have to perform more headshots, dashes, zombie kills, awesome death and so on and so forth. To check your progress simply select a title. Some of them are hidden though, so you'll get something like ??? 10/30. :S The maximum level of a title is rank four, so once you have you see 4 stars on one of your titles you'll be awarded this trophy. You can take this literally by the way, you have to check out your titles for this trophy to unlock. I had about 10 titles at rank 4 when I got the trophy.
While it is possible to 'boost' some of the titles (like awesome deaths for example) this is a total waste of time, since you'll have dozens of them at rank 4 through normal progression in the game in no time. So unless you are really desperate for another *ding* just keep playing and enjoying the game and you can be sure that the trophy will unlock once you re-visit the Dog Tags menu after 2 or 3 campaigns.

They're ACTION Figures!
Collect 3 figures

Collect 3 figures
In order to unlock figures you have to collect Serpent Emblems. See
Heirlooms below for a complete guide for all 80 Serpent Emblems. To check your progress, select Special Features
Collections from the main menu. There you are gonna find jukeboxes for the different story lines. Each has a table with 6 rows and 5 columns. The first 5 rows represent the 5 chapters, the first 4 columns represent the serpent emblems in chronological order. You'll be awarded a figure for every row or column you complete. So you will get a figure if you found all four Serpent Emblems in the first chapter of a story line and you will get a figure if you found the first emblems in chapters 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5. If you have found all the emblems in a campaign you'll be awarded one extra figure. Still with me?
If you are following the collectibles guide in the description for
Heirlooms you'll meet the requirements for this trophy after the third chapter of any given story line. However, the trophy won't pop right away. The game wants you to check out your treasures first. Go to Special Features
Collections in the main menu. If you've unlocked at least three figures at this point you'll hear that satisfying *ding* again.

Defeat 20 enemies with the Hydra using a quick shot

Defeat 20 enemies with the Hydra using a quick shot
The Hydra is Helena's shotgun, so you'll have to play with her in order to obtain this trophy. To perform a quick shot with it you'll have to press
and
simultaneously. Helena will shoot from the hip, sometimes pretty awesome kill animations will be triggered. A good place to farm quick shot kills is chapter 5 of Leon's campaign. Escape from the gas until you'll come to a 'coop-door'. Do not open it yet but stay in this corridor. Zombies will keep respawning; execute them with quick shots until the trophy unlocks. This shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes. If you have enough skill points I recommend buying and equipping the Shotgun Shell Pickup Increase so you won't run out of ammo too quickly.

Take down an enemy 50 meters away with a headshot using the thermal scope

Take down an enemy 50 meters away with a headshot using the thermal scope
Piers' Anti-Material Rifle (one of his default weapons) is the only weapon with a thermal scope in the entire game, so you'll have to play with him in order to obtain this trophy. The beginning of the second chapter of Chris' and Piers' campaign is perfect for this. Right at the beginning of the chapter move back as far as possible and then look out for the snipers near the bridge in the distance. Aim and press
to switch on the thermal scope. You'll see the enemy in white. BOOM! HEADSHOT!
BOOM! TROPHY! If you should screw up, just reload the last checkpoint.

Defeat ten enemies with a stun rod charge attack
You'll have to play with Sherry in order to unlock this trophy, since she is the only character in the game who has this weapon. To charge the stun rod, press and hold
and
. After a couple of seconds you will see some sparks of electricity. Your rod is now fully charged.
Release it on a nearby enemy to roast it. A good place to go for this trophy is the first chapter of Jake's campaign. There are two reasons for that: 1. You'll have to play as Sherry anyway or you won't be able to obtain the third Serpent Emblem and 2. the enemies in this chapter are relatively easy to kill, making it easier to obtain this trophy.

Defeat 500 zombies

Defeat 500 zombies
Nothing more to add really. Unless you are on a speed-run you will get this trophy through natural progression. Just keep killing zombies and the trophy will pop eventually. We are talking about the good old zombies here, you know, the 'Braaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaains' kind of guys. J'avo and B.O.W. do not count towards this trophy. There are thousands of zombies waiting to be killed in Resident Evil 6 so this really shouldn't be an issue. I got the trophy at the beginning of the third chapter of the Leon campaign, which was the first campaign I played.
You always check your progress under Records in the main menu.

J'avo Genocide
Defeat 500 J'avo

Defeat 500 J'avo
Basically the same as
Zombie Massacre above. The only difference is that you'll have to kill J'avo instead of zombies to earn this trophy. You'll find tons of J'avo in Edonia and Lanshiang. Unlike zombies they are capable of speech, so they can communicate and organize their attacks. They can also use weapons. J'avo are able to regenerate severed limbs. However, more often then not this regeneration will result in gruesome mutations of the limb(s) in question. The result is a variety of possible mutations, ranging from spider-like creatures to flying moth-like enemies. Long story short: Kill 500 of those bastards and you'll be awarded another trophy.

Defeat 100 enemies that have come out of a chrysalid

Defeat 100 enemies that have come out of a chrysalid
Particularly unlucky victims of the C-Virus will at some point enter the chrysalid state; they will freeze in place and a semi-transparent cocoon envelopes them. Inside this cocoon, the J'avo will undergo a further mutation. After a certain time the new creature will hatch from its cocoon. The result is a 'perfect mutation' which comes in different varieties. There are the quickly moving Strelats, the slow but powerful brutes called Napads, the flying Mesets and the incredibly annoying insect swarm creatures called Gnezdos. All of them have one thing in common: They drop a huge amount of skill points.
So if you shouldn't get this trophy on your first playthrough you'll most probably get is while grinding for
Mad Skillz.

Rescue two female survivors at the cathedral

Rescue two female survivors at the cathedral
After solving the little puzzle in the cathedral you'll be introduced to your first ... . This kind of enemy basically has assholes all over its body, and from time to time it will fart blue gas, turning the survivors in the cathedral into zombies. In order to rescue them all you have to do is to kill that thing as quickly as possible. Use your best weapon (I'd recommend the shotgun) and confront it near the altar. Pump lead into it until it's pulp. Simple as that. I recommend doing this on easy difficulty as it might take you too long to kill that thing on normal or above.

Pilot the VTOL without getting a scratch on it

.
Piers will take care of the anti-aircraft guns, all you have to do is to get them into his field of vision. Concentrate on flying that damn jet. Try not to crash into the helicopters or the ship and do a barrel roll with
whenever prompted. While you are doing this keep one eye on the health status of your jet at all times! If you should see it glowing red this means you got hit. In this case restart the last checkpoint immediately! After all the anti-aircraft guns have been destroyed you'll have to protect Piers and shoot incoming enemies. As far as I know you can't damage your jet in this part of the level, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious.
The trophy will unlock once the final cutscene of this chapter starts.

Note: It was brought to my attention that it is actually possible to obtain this trophy while playing as Piers. If you are extremely lucky the AI will dodge all missiles and the trophy will unlock. This is highly unlikely though, since the AI sucks at piloting that jet. Thanks for the info to Thembones.

Shoot the helicopter pilot with a Magnum at point-blank range

Shoot the helicopter pilot with a Magnum at point-blank range
You have to play with Jake to obtain this trophy! You don't need the Elephant Killer (Magnum) for it though. If you don't have it, Jake will magically produce one and shoot the pilot nontheless. You'll come to an area with mutated J'avo and a helicopter. While Chris and Piers are fighting the chopper it will drop some enemies once in a while. This is what you are waiting for: Grab one of the ropes the J'avo were using to climb down and climb up. Once you are on top shoot the pilot right in the face for the trophy.
Note: If you take too long Chris and Piers will shoot down the helicopter and a cutscene will be triggered. If you should see that cutscene before getting the trophy then leave the game immediately! Otherwise the damn auto-save feature will save your progress and you would have to start the chapter from scratch.

Sneaking Around
Get through the aircraft carrier's bridge area without being noticed

Get through the aircraft carrier's bridge area without being noticed
This is in chapter 4 of Ada's campaign. Make sure to save some non-explosive bolts for your crossbow before going for this trophy, as you will have to stealth-kill a couple of enemies.
The relevant section starts after the short cutscene where you encounter Chris and Piers (and Chris yells: 'Ada, stop!'). Follow the path until you are outside, then make sure to stay out of the spotlight. Once you are back inside again just crawl through the vents while Chris and Piers are fighting underneath you. Leave the vents, follow the path and sneak past the insect swarm monster. Jump out of the window and 'escape' from the search light again. This time around it's a bit more tricky, there are a couple of obstacles in your way and you have to hide behind stuff. Make sure to press and hold
so Ada will run and jump over obstacles automatically. Luckily you triggered a checkpoint when jumping out of the window. If you screw up, simply reload your last checkpoint. Back inside, shoot the enemy in the head with your crossbow and climb up the ladder. Upstairs you'll find more vents. Shoot the cockroaches that are roaming them so they won't notice you later. You are almost there. After the cutscene, go back inside and take the stairs down. There will be an enemy patrolling the next area; stealth kill him with your crossbow. Use the elevator down. The trophy should unlock once you leave the area for the heli pad.

Earn 150 different medals

Earn 150 different medals
The good news is: You do NOT have to obtain 150 different medals in story mode to earn this trophy. You can obtain medals throughout the campaigns, Agent Hunt and The Mercenaries and they will all count towards this trophy. There is a total of 264 different medals which can be earned in Resident Evil 6: 175 in story mode, 45 in Agent Hunt and 44 in The Mercenaries. This means there is absolutely no reason to go out of your way for this trophy. You should have well over 100 medals after you've beaten all four campaigns. If you didn't start on Professional you'll have to beat the game again anyway, earning a couple of new medals on your way. If you still didn't earn the trophy at the end of you second run just play a couple of rounds of Mercenaries or Agent Hunt and you should be good.
You can always check your progress: Select Play Game in the main menu, then go to Dog Tags and check your Titles. From the first page of titles (the default title Resident Evil should be in the upper left corner) press
four times and you should see a title called 'Decorated Agent' in the middle of the top row, telling you how many different medals you've earned in the campaign. Press
twice from here for 'Decorated Mercenary', press
once from here for 'Decorated Hunter' (note: you might have to earn at least one medal to unlock those titles, so if you haven't played a single round in those game modes you won't find the titles here). Just do the math and see how many medals you are still missing.
The guys over at the Resident Evil wiki compiled a complete list of all medals in Resident Evil 6. Check it out if you are curious about a certain medal.

Collect all the serpent emblems

Collect all the serpent emblems
Yay, B.S.A.A. emblems all over again!
This time around they are called Serpent emblems, but they are blue and you'll have to shoot them in order to 'collect' them, so it's basically the same. There is a total of 80 Serpent emblems hidden throughout Resident Evil 6, and when I say hidden I mean it. Some of them are really hard to find, so it's good to have a guide.
There are 4 emblems in every chapter, so there are 20 emblems each in Leon's, Chris', Jake's and Ada's campaign. If you should have missed an emblem no worries, you can get them via chapter select. You don't even have to make it to the next checkpoint. Once you have collected a missing emblem you can quit the game at once.
As always we have both, a brilliant video guide brought to you by PowerPyx and a detailed written guide for those who prefer a text. Both are hidden in the spoiler boxes below.

. After this cutscene leave the room, turn the first corner and run down the hallway to the blue door at its end. Look out for an emblem on one of the shelfs.
. You'll come to a junction, the streets left and right are blocked with cars, busses and trucks. On the left there is an emblem sitting on the hood of one of those cars.
Anyway, as soon as the cutscene is over look for the emblem on a scafolding. It's in the direction the bus was heading before. Run to the end of the roof and shoot the emblem before the bus starts moving again.
