[top]Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City DLC Trophy Guides

Echo Six Expansion Pack #1 - By: Dragoon_Thomas

[top]Tips & Strategies

Basic Tips
  • From the Main Menu, you can go into Records and keep track of MOST of you kill counts. CQC kills, and Incendiary Rounds kills will not show up in the records.
  • As far as weaponry goes. The basic weapons they give you are nothing better then the trash you brought to the street last week. I highly recommend saving up XP and buying the Samurai Edge handgun and either the Juggernaut Shotgun or Ravager Assault Rifle (depending on whether you like close up fights or fights from a safe distance).
  • Stay behind cover during gun combat at all times, even on the easiest difficulty you could sustain lots of damage in a single fight.
  • Keep your eye on the map for small rooms in hallways, they usually will contain an enemy or two and then a bunch of treats like ammo, herbs, data to collect and grenades
  • When playing on professional take your time (unless going for S+) and learn the environment. The difficulty isn't overly difficult even when going for the S+. You shouldn't have too many deaths altogether.
  • When you are in a jam, don't be afraid to skip sections of fights that are skipable by running to the next checkpoint, sometimes this may be the difference between you progressing (Or getting an S+) and throwing your controller through your T.V.
  • When playing co-op with a friend, if one of you guys are the medic you can spawn with a First Aid so if you are both low on health, throw a bullet through their head and revive them to get some free health when other health can't be found.
  • When playing as Bertha, use her brutal CQC kill on enemies for a 50/50 chance of a green herb to drop. Her brutal QC kill is followed by .

Gameplay Tips
  • Infection - When attacked by an infected enemy you may contract the T-Virus which will result in the rapid decline of your health and you need to cure yourself with an Anti-viral Spray which is rare to find and you can only carry one of it. Other ways involve using a Medic ability if she is on the team.
  • Cover - excellent for staying safe during gun fights. But you can still get shot at because part of your upper body sticks out of cover but the same goes for the enemy too.
  • Diving - You can dive by moving into the intended direction and then hitting also you can shoot your weapon while diving with .
  • Quick Draw - When zombies come close and surround you then you can use Quick Draw to quickly pull out your sidearm and shoot the enemy by aimply aiming with the right stick, you can also manually fire with
  • Tackle - You can tackle by pressing while sprinting. This will knock down enemies that are of your size and is a good method to break through a crowd of zombies.
  • Pistol Shots - Whipping out your pistol by pressing is a good idea when out of ammo, however when you are looking for just a few shots from it, hold down and it will auto aim at the nearest zombies.
  • Grenades - There are three types of grenades in the game; Flash Grenades, Frag Grenades, and Incendiary Grenades. Don't forget you have these and make sure you throw them into larger groups of enemies.

Online Gameplay suggestion Tips
  • When playing in Heroes mode it isn't a bad idea to get infected by zombies. This will actually make your health go down gradually but slowly and nothing else can damage you. Take advantage of this glitch to get more points while playing that mode.
  • When boosting online stuff with friends, the stage Apocalypse makes a great stage for getting stuff done. There are a few Hunters but Lickers aren't here. There is also very few stairs that any mode require you to climb.
  • When boosting online and using the Heroes game mode to boost plays, use Hunk and Jill Valentine as the players. They are the fastest members of their team and can shave off a quite a bit of time over the 98 plays.

Character Ability Strengths
:
  • Bertha - Bertha's passive ability First Aid Proficiency is a good help when playing on higher difficulties because she will be able to carry more health for them sticky situations that don't have much health laying around. Her Active abilities Pain Killer and Neutralize Infection are both great in their own way. Neutralize Infection would be good for players that find themselves getting infected a lot without having any sort of healing means while the Painkiller ability will help you get through certain spots in maps where you are surrounded by enemies. This ability will reduce the damage you take significantly depending on which upgrade you have.
  • Spectre - Spectre's passive ability Item Detection is a really big help for finding intel across the map, especially when trying for S+ rank. While this doesn't locate cameras, it will locate all other intel, laptops, healing items, and ammo. Spectre doesn't have very useful active abilities unless playing online or campaign co-op in which case Threat Scanner is a good one to show you and the rest of your team on their maps where enemies are located on the maps.
  • Vector - Both of Vector's passive abilities are really good for trying to make it through areas to checkpoints quickly and with very little attention from the enemies. His active ability Active Camouflage is another great ability for sneaking past enemies, however this will also help you if you are attacked by a large number of enemies, you can get a bit of distance between you and the enemies and activate this ability and most of the enemies should ignore your presence. However, this active ability won't help much against zombies if you are bleeding.
  • Lupo - All of Lupo's abilities are pretty much spot on in this game. She doesn't have any bad abilities, you will just need to know which abilities suit your style of gameplay the most. This is the only character that can fire off Incendiary Rounds, so keep this in mind as there is a trophy related to killing 103 enemies with these rounds.
  • Four Eyes - Four Eyes' better passive ability would be her Antiviral Proficiency. She will spawn from a death carrying a Anti-Virus Spray and can carry up to four of these when fully upgraded. Her best active ability would be the Attraction Phermone. While the Program Infected ability looks good, it doesn't last as long as it really should in order to do anything with it. The Attraction Phermone can be used to lure infected enemies away from you in order to buy time to heal a downed ally or find yourself from health.
  • Beltway - Beltway's Blast Armor would probably be his best passive ability. This will decrease the amount of damage taken by any explosive and will also reduce the chances of getting knocked down by them. His best active ability would probably be his Time Sticky Explosives. These things are really good for getting yourself out of a tight situation. If you find yourself running away from zombies and other enemies, throw a timed sticky explosive ahead of you on a wall or floor, or to the face of the pack leading zombie chasing your ass. Give it a few seconds and this will greatly slow down the rate at which these enemies are chasing after you, giving you that spare second to reload or save a partner to use as bait for the time being.

XP Grinding Tips

Once you have finished all of the other trophies in the game you may find yourself a little short in the XP area, making it difficult to progress towards buying all Weapons, Abilities, and Upgrades, so you may need to do a bit of grinding. The grinding in this game can become very stale, very quickly. There are two methods you can use to grind the XP away.

Option 1: Select Mission 5 on Casual Difficulty (For some reason this level nets out more XP on the easier difficulties) and simply complete the level. Take out ANY enemies you come across and don't skip any of them for any reason whatsoever. Collect as much intel as you possibly can whilst running through this mission and grab as many cameras as you can find along the way. It may get tricky not to die in certain areas of this map with all the Hunters and Spec-Ops but try to keep yourself healed up to the best of your ability; just blow through the level killing anything that twitches along the way. Overall you shouldn't have much, if any, trouble completing this on Casual difficulty with an S ranking. Your time may come somewhat close as the AI is worthless. Take out the Tyrants one at a time while the other Tyrant stays somewhat busy knocking around your teammates.

If you complete this within reasonable time and get yourself an overall rank of S or so you should be able to net about 16000 XP a clip playing this solo.

Option 2: Select Mission 7 on Casual Difficulty so that you won't get yourself completely overwhelmed when the time comes. Simply fight your way through the entire level until you get to the part where you need to make a Spec-Op bleed out to get the zombies to break through the barrier. Run up and make a zombie bleed out and try to avoid getting shot by Leon as this will cause a frenzy to crowd around yourself. Once the frenzy has begun and the barrier is broken, run back to the beginning of that area where you came out from between the parked train cars. When you enter the area again take your immediate right into the little alley where Leon can't get to you anymore and just sit there and camp out the zombie kills. Stay there until you have been playing the level for about 20 minutes or so. This will basically have bare minimum zombies spawning anymore and isn't really worth sitting there anymore and wasting a time bonus for an S rank. Once you are at that time, head up the ladder and defend Leon and complete the level with hopefully an S rank.

if you complete this without dying very many times in the end area and get an overall rank of about an S or so you should be able to net yourself around 15000-17000 XP at a clip.

When doing these missions co-op there really isn't much of a difference. However, if you are trying the Mission 5 method make sure the one who needs the XP takes out the Tyrants at the end of the mission. These enemies seem to give a great deal of XP especially if both killed by the same player.

[top]Cheats, Glitches & Exploits

Weapons, Abilities, and Upgrades Exploit

- There is an exploit in which you can obtain all of the trophies needed for the platinum without having to reach level 75, however you will not get to keep everything you may want but luckily this exploit can be exploited farther to leave you back how you started. For this exploit you will need a MINIMUM of 252250 XP. What you are going to want to do is head into an online Private Campaign Match on any map. At the character select screen purchase all abilities and all upgrades for each and every character to make all of the Abilities related trophies pop. Once the last one has popped, exit the game through the XMB menu before entering any maps and before exiting back to the Main Menu. Start up the game and head back into the same mode. You should have all of the XP you had before back at your disposal. Now purchase yourself every Handgun and every other gun that is purchasable. Once you have bought every single weapon and gotten all 3 weapon related trophies, quit out again through the XMB again before doing anything else and load up the game one final time and you should have all the XP back and all the XP "purchasing" trophies. Now feel free to spend your XP as you wish on whatever guns and abilities you want without having to worry about grinding XP at the end of the game.

[top]Roadmap

There are two different recommendations I can give out for a roadmap.

Recommendation #1:
  • Step 1: Complete the game on Easy or Normal Difficulty. This will give you an idea of how the game plays out and lets you learn some of the enemies and maps. Collect all the raccoons during this playthrough to save time later on.
  • Step 2: Complete the game on Professional through the Free Play option from the Main Menu. This will give you an idea of the difficulty in which you will need to perfect the level on. Take your time through this playthrough and try to find some secret places to save time and health by running past enemies to the next checkpoints.
  • Step 3: Use the Free Play options to work on each level one at a time on Professional Difficulty (Unless otherwise noted as a suggestion in the guide) attempting to obtain the rank of S+. This may take a few matches on each mission however with enough patients this trophy is quite reasonable.
  • Step 4: Complete the online trophies while going for the 98 Versus matches played trophy. Try to let the 98 Matches trophy be the last online trophy you need to complete the online portion of the game.
  • Step 5: Complete any miscellaneous trophies you may need to obtain still, if you have no miscellaneous trophies then skip this step.
  • Step 6: if you have not already received your platinum trophy it is because you still need to level up some more to finish buying any Upgrades, Abilities, or Weapons. Grind out the rest of the XP you may need for this and finish off those last few trophies for your new .

Recommendation #2 (recommended for more experienced gamers who want this plat faster)
  • Step 1: Complete each level one at a time on professional difficulty to learn the level fast and try to learn where the collectables are so you have a better chance to obtain the S+ Rank. Once you complete a level for the first time, keep replaying the level over and over attempting the S+ Rank. Once you obtain the the S+ Rank, make your way onto the very next mission. Continue this until the Campaign and S+ trophies are complete. Playing the levels one by one may be a bit more difficult but at the same time easier due to the fact you won't forget the level.
  • Step 2: Complete the online trophies while going for the 98 Versus matches played trophy. Try to let the 98 Matches trophy be the last online trophy you need to complete the online portion of the game.
  • Step 3: Complete any miscellaneous trophies you may need to obtain still, if you have no miscellaneous trophies then skip this step.
  • Step 4: if you have not already received your platinum trophy it is because you still need to level up some more to finish buying any Upgrades, Abilities, or Weapons. Grind out the rest of the XP you may need for this and finish off those last few trophies for your new .

Mr. Death
Get all Trophies.

[top]
Witness
Witness the beginning of the Raccoon City outbreak.

This is a Story Related Trophy and Can NOT be missed.

This will be the first story related trophy you will receive. This trophy is awarded upon completion of the first mission in story mode. Go through the mission normally practicing how to shoot through waves of enemies to progress until you get to the cutscene where you must guard the door outside of William Birkin's lab. After the door explodes you will need to take on a wave of spec op enemies. Once dispatched head up the elevator and continue through the corridors until you reach the cutscene that shows a G-Viirus infected Birkin. You will need to back up and shoot him in the eye on his right arm to get him to stop charging you. Keep backing up until it shows him smash the ceiling down. Then turn around and book it for the end of the hall and open the door. Turn around and keep him back by shooting him in the eye on his arm until the door opens. Head through the door and continue through the hallways until you encounter Birkin again, but be careful as there will be a few Spec Op enemies and infected dogs along the way. Once you encounter Birkin again move the analogue stick left or right depending on which way the action scene shows you to. Once you stand back up run towards the door on the opposite end of the hallway. Activate the door and turn around to keep Birkin at bay again. Once the door is open, head through and watch the mines on the floor as you run through this last corridor. Once you get to the other end you will trigger the final cutscene and end he mission. The trophy will unlock after the cutscene.

[top]
Corrupted
Complete the second mission of the U.S.S. campaign.

This is a Story Related Trophy and Can NOT be missed.

In this mission you will encounter zombies for the first time and they come in packs so be careful. Don't hesitate to use your grenades on a gang of zombies attacking together and keep your eye on the ammo counter because they tend to take most of it in order to get rid of all of them. You will start out in some sort of warehouse and then you'll exit to an alley where you will go up some stairs and keep following the objective on the map. After the 2nd door you will come across some zombies for the 1st time. The move on to the second room and clear it from zombies as well. Before you exit that area, turn left and there should be data to collect on left hand side of that hallway area. After the cut scene look under the stairs to find more data. Then you will enter city hall and fight some more zombies. After clearing them all make sure to search around for rooms that contain data. In the next area you will fight some Spec ops after fighting all the way through to the security room and clearing it, you will use a console to clear the first objective. Don't forget to pick the data and use the laptop in the room for some XP. After you complete the objective of finding and destroying all of umbrellas plans in the city archives you will come to the most annoying part of the level where you get attacked by hordes of lickers. There is plenty of them so keep moving forward towards the exit and shoot any that try to approach you. Also keep your eye on the ceiling as they will creep up on you and attack you from distance with their tongue. Lastly, Lickers on the ceiling tend to fall on the ground after getting shot at a few times and when they do they will stay completely still for a few seconds as if pretending to be dead but they will get back up and attack you again, so don't turn around thinking it is dead. Fire a couple of more rounds to finish it off and make your life easier. In this area you need to get the black card to be able to get out. after you do leave. you can use to go back to that first area where you encountered spec ops for the first time. Turn right from there and head down some stairs to open a one locked door and gain access to the contents inside.

Danger, High Voltage!
Complete the third mission of the U.S.S. campaign.

This is a Story Related Trophy and Can NOT be missed.

This mission can get annoying at times. You will face a variety of enemies here including the normal zombies and spec ops. There will also be two new enemies to join the group here, Hunters and zombies strapped with explosives. The Hunters take quite a bit of damage to defeat, however they only have one basic attack which is to run or jump at you and start swinging, so if you see this you can run and jump down onto the ground to avoid the swing. Make sure you attack these things from the front as they won't take much damage from behind.

As for the level itself it has a basic concept to it where you just mainly have to get through the mission normally. It doesn't really get too hairy until the end where you are planting the EMPs and activating the generators., however there is a mini boss fight against Nikolai. He will stand up in a building and shoot down from the windows and lob grenades. The best method to taking him out is to get really close to the windows, when you are really close he can't hit you with his gun but instead relies on his grenades which you can fairly easily sidestep. Take him out when he pops up in the window with grenades and your gun. He will take a certain amount of damage and call some zombies in. Take care of them fast and continue your strategy for Nikolai. He will take a certain amount more damage and call zombies again. Take those out again and then deal with Nikolai until you are told to proceed.

As for the final part with the EMPs. Each time you activate a generator a wave of spec ops will appear. If you are playing solo I highly recommend taking out all of the spec ops before activating a new generator otherwise you will have a really rough time with this. If you are playing it co-op and are rather quick you can swing around the right side and have your partner activate the first generator. Once it starts rising, run behind t to stay out of sight of the two spec ops. Once the first generator is up, take out the two spec ops. Plant the EMP and go down the stairs to the right while facing the generator. Turn to the left and activate the computer. Now head back to the first generator but throw some sort of grenade at the door that just opened because spec ops will start coming out of there. Now have player two run back towards the beginning of the level while you wait behind the first generator and have them take the path on the right while facing the map and have them shoot straight ahead to plant the second EMP on the generator (throwing a flash grenade will help them here also so they can blind their enemies and have more time for error. Once it is planted they have to turn completely around and activate the third generator. During this process you may be getting attacked by zombies and the few and far between spec ops, but once that third generator is up run and plant the EMP right away and the mission will clear. If your partner dies after activating the third generator do not heal them, instead just don't let their sacrifice go in vein. Also please note to be careful as Nikolai will be standing on the railing up top sniping down at you and your partners, however he can not be killed so don't waste your time attempting to defeat him here.

Rogue's Gallery
Complete the fourth mission of the U.S.S. campaign.

This is a Story Related Trophy and Can NOT be missed.

This mission can get a bit hairy at times. There are an assortment of new enemies in this level. The enemies include parasites, parasite zombies, zombies, and Tyrants. There are actually quite a few hairy spots in this level however it is still manage-able. The mission doesn't really start getting too hairy until you go down into the lab where you first inject the syringe into the unconscious Tyrants head. Once you do that the parasite zombies will start to appear. You don't really have to deal with these guys, as long as you extracted the virus from the Tyrant you can head straight upstairs to the elevator. Once you reach the elevator where the marker is located the Tyrant will wake up. These guys usually walk so they are rather slow, however they are known to charge and they run fast during this process. so just be ready to dodge if need be. You DO NOT have to defeat this Tyrant by any means. Instead simply run past him and go collect the three keycards needed to open the elevator. Once the elevator is opened run to it and head inside. The next room can get rather hairy since it is a rather small area and numerous infinitely spawning zombies will be appearing. Head into each of the two rooms and activate the items where the marker shows and head into the next room, only kill what you must to survive here. Keep going a little bit farther and you will encounter another Tyrant which shouldn't pose any threat at all since you can simply run past him into the next room. There shouldn't be any more problems until the end of the mission where you get to fight the ever-loving Nemesis, but here is the kicker, he is SIMPLE. To defeat the Nemesis the easy way simply stay on the platform you entered the room in. From there you can use an assault rifle or your pistol if it is a strong one to chip away at Nemesis' health. Stay out of his line of fire and stay near the infinite ammo crate. He will move from his original spot to the other side of the map once he is half health. There will spawn some Spec-Ops soldiers who will fight to take down Nemesis also, if you leave them alone, they will leave you alone. Stay on that platform and keep firing away at Nemesis until he is ready to get injected with the parasite. You will know when he is ready and as soon as he is ready book it towards him and inject him, you only have about 20 seconds which is more then enough time to get to him if you sprint no matter how far away you think he is. If he gets back up he will take more damage to be downed again so make use of the first time. After he is injected it will trigger a cutscene and you will receive this trophy.

[top]
Betrayal
Complete the fifth mission of the U.S.S. campaign.

This is a Story Related Trophy and Can NOT be missed.

This story mission isn't too bad with other players, however can become a pain to achieve in single player. This level will present itself with numerous Hunters, Spec-Ops, lickers and zombies. There are also two Tyrants you must defeat at the end of the level.

At the start of this mission you will start above a swarm of zombies, you can either go full barrel and go down into the pack and take them all out or you can lob a few grenades into the swarm to take some out prior to heading down. Head down and continue down the alley where more zombies will appear, most are blood frenzied so they are going to be faster and there will be others on fire. If you get infected there are a few Anti-Virus' on the floor. Continue down the alley and to your left where a single dog will spawn. Take him out and head up the platform to the left and into the building. Destroy the stuff on the desk at your objective and start making your way back out of the building. There will be a bunch of lickers that spawn in the hallway so take them out. Head through the door on the right and zombies will push through the door, take them out and onto the balcony where you will get confronted with more zombies and lickers. Take them out and continue out into the alley ahead where you meet up with Leon. he will run away and there will be a bunch of zombies that swarm you. Take them out and continue. Once you head through the garage door there will be even more lickers that come in quite a few waves. Once the game lags while fighting the lickers they are defeated. head through the garage door and run to the back side of the building to the left where you see a lone Spec-Op. This next part has quite a few Spec Ops, so try to stay back and take them out. On the roof opposite the gas station there are three snipers. take out the one in the middle because he will be the one shooting the most and doing a lot of damage. Don't go too far ahead because you will spawn the Hunters and if you do this before taking out the Spec-Ops you will have a lot on your plate. Take out the four Hunters and head through the alley way where you will meet a single lone Hunter. Take him out and move on. Once you get to the next area there will be more Spec-Ops and zombies, take as many as you can out and head towards the gas station and expect more Hunters to appear. Deal with them and as you head to the opposite side of the map where you came in, a garage door will open and more Spec-Ops will appear, deal with them or try to just run through the garage door. Once through you will will have to go through two hallways filled with zombies. Upon exiting the building go down the alleyway where you will be confronted with more Spec-Ops. Take them out and continue up and around the garden area. where there are more Spec-Ops. Take them out and head into the street where, you guessed it, more Spec-Ops will appear but in two different waves. Take them out and head into the open area but be careful because a crate will fall on you and there will be numerous Hunters, however this is the last time you will have to deal with these guys in this mission. Take them out and once they are all dead, the last wave of zombies and Spec-Ops will spawn. Take them out and continue forward into the parking lot with the overturned bus. Attempt to go through the door where you will be confronted with a Tyrant. Once you take out half of they Tyrant's health a second one will show up. Try to take focus on which one was the original and take him out first to make it easier on yourself. there is an infinite ammo box and several herbs around the area if needed. The Tyrant's don't have many different attacks so they are easily predicted and can be dodged fairly easy by running and diving away. Take out the first one and then focus on the one that spawned later on and take him down. Once he is downed head through the door to complete the mission.

[top]
Down in the Labs
Complete the sixth mission of the U.S.S. campaign.

This is a Story Related Trophy and Can NOT be missed.

For this mission you will start out in a train station. Make your way to the back of the train station and defeat all the zombies in your way. Activate the elevator button in the back by the forklift and more zombies will swarm you. Take them out and hop on the elevator, but make sure you grab a few grenades for the trip. While the elevator is going down, face the wall near the side you pressed the switch on to get the elevator going, and when you see the enemies below, lob a grenade in the middle of the room. Activate the elevator again and head down again, but this time head to the opposite side of the platform and do the same with a grenade, but this time there is a back room with zombies and parasites that will come from behind you. Take out the zombies quickly and then deal with the parasites. Continue down the elevator and at the bottom you will have a boss fight waiting for you. Head to the right side of the room and shoot an mines in the hallway ahead. Stay in cover and blind fire down the alleyway at any mines and barrels you can and at Ada Wong. When she flinches, move up to the second cover on the right and continue blind firing until she flinches again. Charge in and she willl run away when you get close. Head into the next room and on the walkway to your left Spec-Op soldiers will start shooting at you. Take them out and continue into a crate room and take out the few zombies in there. Head onto the elevator and start heading down. Midway down you will be confronted by lickers. Take them out along the way. Continue down the elevator and on your left you will come to a huge swarm of zombies with parasites coming in from the right, try not to let them combine, throw any grenades you have into the crowd of zombies. Head into the next room and take the door on your right. There will be three hunters but you don't need to deal with them right away, instead head up the ramp and past the hunters and down the ramp on the left and activate the door. It will take a few seconds to open so just defend yourself until it opens. Continue the mission until you get to the part where you first fought against Spec-Ops in the first mission, although this mission has you taking that route in reverse. Along the way you shouldn't see anything more threatening then zombies. Once you get into that corridor you will be faced with zombies and more hunters, head to the opposite side of the corridor and up to the door on the right side, Activate the door and wait for it to open. Once it opens, head inside and up the ladder to the next part. Once there you can simply run to the opposite side of the reactor room and head up the ladder. Once up top, run straight through the blood frenzied zombies to the left side of the room and activate the next checkpoint. At this part you will be in front of an elevator. Once on the elevator you will be confronted with three waves of enemies. The first wave is a boss fight against a Super Tyrant. Shoot him in the heart on his shoulder until he backs up to the edge. Unleash as assault of bullets on him to make him fall in. The second wave of enemies is lickers. Take them out and continue up to wave 3. Between waves two and three there will be fire coming out of the walls. Run from either side of the elevator to get away. Wave 3 consists of a Stronger Super Tyrant. This one is going to be a bit faster and stronger. He is going to be more aggressive and use a new variety of attacks such as lunging and roaring. Dodge any attacks that he may try to throw at you and take care of him like the first time. Once he is defeated you will get a cutscene and this trophy.

[top]
Died Trying
Attempt "The Rescue" and fail.

I highly recommend going for this trophy first unless of course you are attempting your S+ rank. What you want to do is load up End of the Line. Fight your way through the entire level up until the part where you climb up the ladder after making a Spec-Op bleed out to start a frenzy to open the gate. Once you get to the top you will be shown a cutscene featuring you, your team and Leon. During the cutscene it will make you make a selection, either you can choose to attempt to execute Leon or you can attempt to defend Leon.

For this trophy you are going to have to select Defend Leon S. Kennedy. Once the mission has loaded up you will be on Leon's team fighting two of your team members that are trying to execute you, your other partner, and Leon. This trophy is the easiest of the three ending trophies to receive. Simply run up to any of the enemy team members and just stand there. Let them or the zombies kill you. Once you have died you will be awarded this trophy for your "effort" and be brought back to the choice selection where you can choose again whether you want to Defend or Kill Leon. Now you can go for one of the two other "Endings" trophies.

[top]
A Hero Spared!
Attempt "The Rescue" and survive.

This trophy is a lot like Died Trying , only this time you are going to want to survive the final fight against your former team members.

I highly recommend going for Died Trying first unless of course you are attempting your S+ rank.

For this ending trophy you are going to want to run to your opponents and try to defeat them before they can kill you or Leon. On the higher difficulties your former teammates will have fully upgraded abilities and will take a lot of hits before they go down. There are quite a few health regenerating items laying around the map. You can attempt to hold back near Leon to allow your partner and Leon try to help take out some of their health but be careful not to die, nor let them execute Leon because then you will fail. Simply take out the opposing team and the trophy is yours.

if you are having trouble with this even on the easier difficulties you can play this online with a friend and have them to kill Leon and you choose to defend. Once the mission starts (As long as it isn't on Casual) your opponent can kill his partner and then you can kill your friend for the easy win.

The Loyalists
Follow orders and defeat all liabilities.

I highly recommend going for Died Trying first unless of course you are attempting your S+ rank or if you already have it.

For this trophy you are going to have to select Kill Leon S. Kennedy. In this ending you will be pit up against two of your former teammates and Leon. Your former teammates can be a pain to defeat however they are more difficult when you choose to defend Leon. I recommend going into this mission and taking out the zombies and your former teammates. Once they have been defeated you are going to need to focus on Leon. Leon is cheap, he will use tons of grenades and unless he is reloading, avoiding a grenade, or being knocked down for a hit he will shoot you a few times quite accurately as soon as you leave from cover. If health gets around 1/3 left make sure you run back for more health and do it carefully. If you can't get many shots off on your opponent try to open the crates all over the room and find the Grenade Launcher. This will take quite a few hits to defeat Leon however it is one of the safest guns to use because even where fired from the hip over a barrier it can miss him by a bit and still affect him and damage him. After taking him out you will be presented with this trophy.

I also recommend doing this on an easier difficulty because Leon is extremely cheap and there is no reason to fight him on higher difficulties.

If you are having trouble getting to Leon you can have a friend go on the opposite team and so long as it isn't casual difficulty then they can kill their partner and you can kill them giving you an easy way into the fight against Leon.

A Gun by Any Other Name
Kill an enemy with each weapon type including special weapons.

This trophy is really quite simple. To obtain this trophy you simply need to get 1 kill with each class of gun. That means 1 with shotguns, 1 with assault rifles, and so on.

For a list of the different types of guns, refer to the Quite The Collection trophy. You will need to get at least one kill from each of those classes of weaponry and also a Special Weapon, which includes but are not limited to guns and weapons such as grenades, flamethrowers, and grenade launchers.

Once you get 1 kill within each of those weapon types you will receive this trophy.

Great Success
Gain S+ on all U.S.S. missions on Veteran or Professional difficulty.

I have grouped the complete the game on professional, veteran and S Rank trophies with this one because it appears easier to obtain an S+ Rank on professional then it is to get one on Veteran for most missions.

YOU CAN RECEIVE THIS TROPHY BY COMPLETING ANY MISSION EITHER PROFESSIONAL OR VETERAN, YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ALL S+ MISSIONS COMPLETE ON EITHER PROFESSIONAL OR VETERAN, IT CAN BE A FEW ON VETERAN AND A FEW ON PROFESSIONAL AS LONG AS THEY ARE ALL S+ IN YOUR RECORDS FOR HIGHEST GRADE IN THE CAMPAIGN SECTION.

To obtain an S+ rank you will have to score enough XP to meet the levels quota. You get basic XP from defeating enemies but you also get bonus XP at the end of the round for completing the levels challenges. The only challenges on each level that will become cumbersome to defeat are the time and Death counts.

There are two ways to go about this. You can either do it solo and try to best each levels times, kills, and intel enough to gain enough XP to obtain the S+ rank OR you can go at this in co-op, however going into this co-op, make sure you decide which of you is to get the S+ Rank because it is impossible for two players to score enough points to both get S+ rank. Once you have decided who is getting the S+ rank have them be the Spectre (Surveillance) with their Passive Ability "Item Detection" maxed to level 3 and the one who is not going for the S+ rank be Bertha (Medic) with Passive Ability "First Aid Proficiency" at least level 2 and their Active Ability "Neutralize Infection". Whoever is getting the S+ will need to get at least the minimum number of kills for the level attempting as well as complete it together within the time frame, collect almost every piece of intel in the mission and destroying every camera while the second person is there to deal with the more difficult situations and heals the players and such. If health or ammo is needed and neither player has any simply kill the medic because their death count will not affect the other players rank. Each time the medic dies the other person can take their gun which will get refilled upon revive and the medic will revive with a First Aid Spray, so make sure you utilize this loop-hole.

Here are the requirements for each level shown at the end of each level, however the cameras will not show but are added to the list and try to collect every piece of intel instead of the bare minimum.

THESE SCORES ARE TAKEN FROM A 2 PLAYER CO-OP SESSION. ALL DEATH AND INTEL COUNTS ARE DOUBLE FOR PLAYING SOLO. Scores for Solo's co-op can be found in each of the levels corresponding S+ Rank video, courtesy of Powerpyx

Also note that the Cameras are NOT required for S+ however, every bit helps in achieving S+. Getting all cameras can make up for some instances where you may not meet one of the other level challenges. If you want to attempt collecting all cameras then I recommend playing the round on Casual first to try finding them all so it won't affect your overall time during your S+ Rank run.

Also getting S/S/S/S for all challenges is not completely necessary as I have gotten an S+ Rank when getting scores such as S/A/S/A and have gotten an overall A as a score when receiving S/S/S/S as a score.

Attempt to kill as many basic zombies as you can throughout each of the levels to up your kill count and XP gaining. Also if playing with a friend make sure that you are the one who deals the final blow to any boss enemies as you will have an even higher chance at getting that S+ ranking.

Level 1: Containment
16 Enemies Killed
1 Deaths Taken
6 Intel Collected
25 Minutes Time Completion
11 Cameras

Level 1 Quick Guide for S+ Rank in co-op:
As with most of the missions I recommend that Player 1 chooses Spectre and collects all of the intel, laptops and shoots all cameras if possible. Player two can stand by and follow along but have them kill only what is necessary and have them be the guinea pig in instances where you might need someone to take a hit like against the first boss where you are running away. They can stay back and distract Birkin while you make a run for the door. Also when the part comes up where you must run from Birkin a second time and he automatically grabs you upon entering the hallway, have your partner be the guinea Pig here again also. If they die it isn't really a big deal, don't bother trying to revive them at this point, the mission is just about over. Other then using your partner as a guinea pig when necessary this isn't an overly difficult mission to S+.

Level 2: Corruption
75 Enemies Killed
1 Death Taken
10 Intel Collected
35 Minutes Time Completion

Level 2 Quick Guide for S+ Rank in co-op:
This mission is also pretty basic. There shouldn't be much trouble getting through this mission with an S+ ranking. The first room with enemies in it, the zombies will always pull you in so make your partner be the one to take the fall here. Once inside the room, on your left will be a red barrel you can shoot to destroy most of the enemies in here. Continue through the mission normally until you get to the part where you are in an overly large room with a bunch of Spec-Ops who will spawn from the back of the room, opposite you. Once you kill most of these Spec-Ops more will spawn from the right hand side from where you entered and another wave after that will spawn from the far back side where the first wave spawned. Stay in the room before that one and take out the enemies through the doorway. They take a bit of shots to kill and this is a safer method. Continue through the level until you get to the control room where you are greeted by two enemy Spec-Ops. Take them out and hit the switch on the computers to proceed. Once you activate the switch and the cutscene ends, take out the zombies that spawn through the door ahead of you and the ones that spawn behind you. Continue through the level normally which will only contain the basic zombies and Spec-Ops. Continue until you get to the next control room (server room). If you are Spectre, make sure you look at the computer and gather the intel from the middle of the room which will blow up all the servers so you can continue and give you bonus XP for completing the "Spectre Challenge". Destroy all the servers either way and take out the zombies that will spawn all around you. Continue the mission and head to the objective marker where you will come to a set of small stairs and a set of stairs on either side of you. if you take the side on the left hand side there will be a few Spec-Ops with zombies while the other side has just Spec-Ops. I recommend taking the path with the zombies and Spec-Ops as they will fight each other making getting through easier. Fight your way through to the next checkpoint. In the next room you will have no enemies but you will have to go through a room filled with mines and destroy the pieces of paper that are required to progress (they are always in the same spot). Make sure you shoot the mines instead of running into them. Continue through the game after destroying the paper until you get to the room with lots of lickers. You can opt to fight which I don't recommend, or you can go straight to the center of the room and grab the black keycard which is surrounded by mines and just run straight for the next checkpoint at the exiting door that leads you back to the rather large room. Please note that when you pick up the keycard the room blows up and catches fire so be sure to be careful on the run out. You can have your partner attempt to run to the checkpoint if you wish but either way you will have to also. Once outside the licker room there will be an infinite number of zombies around. Go ahead and take them out if you think you need more kills for the S+ but be careful not to go over your time. Once you think you have enough, head to the exit, which is the next checkpoint.

Level 3: Lights Out

55 Enemies Killed
3 Deaths Taken
10 Intel Collected
35 Minutes Time Completion

Level 3 Quick Guide for S+ Rank in co-op:
This is yet another basic mission. There really isn't all too much to this one at all. This mission does however have a boss fight and a few new enemies, Hunters and Zombies strapped with explosives. You are going to want to progress through this mission normally and when you get to the Helicopter crash make sure you try to get the EMPs as fast as possible. When you get to the boss fight against Nicholai have your partner stay in the back of the area while you go in close to the windows. Have your partner try to blow up the hidden barrels in the windows on the far left and far right when Nicholai is in those windows. You simply just wait for him to pop up and throw a some rounds into his head. Once the Clock Tower rings, be ready to get rid of enemy zombies that will spawn as fast as possible. Repeat this step again until you are done with the second wave of zombies. Nicholai will attempt to shoot again for a third time. Take him out the same way but this time instead of zombies appearing, you will be able to progress with the level. Try not to spend too much time here. The fight should only take about 7 minutes or so. You will encounter more zombies and Spec-Ops on your way to the final area but just take your time but not too much because you are going to want a decent chunk of time for the final area. In the final area, each time you activate a generator a wave of spec ops will appear. If you are playing solo I highly recommend taking out all of the spec ops before activating a new generator otherwise you will have a really rough time with this. If you are playing it co-op and are rather quick you can swing around the right side and have your partner activate the first generator. Once it starts rising, run behind to stay out of sight of the two spec ops.

In the last room, try to have your partner do as much of the work as possible while you focus on staying alive. If you don't need Bertha as a partner I highly suggest using Vector as a good teammate if nothing else, just for this final part so he can use his Camouflage to easily place the EMPs and activate generators while you focus on just trying to stay alive through the whole onslaught.

Level 4: Gone Rogue
75 Enemies Killed
2 Deaths Taken
10 Intel Collected
35 Minutes Time Completion

Level 4 Quick Guide for S+ Rank in co-op:
This mission is also another basic one for the most part but has a few parts I recommend skipping. For this mission try to make sure that player 2 has a Machine Gun or Assault Rifle of some sort for the final battle. Progress through this mission normally collecting as much intel and cameras as you can. Once you get into the main lab is when this mission starts to get a bit of difficulty to it. Run downstairs and do what you have to do to extract the parasite from the Tyrant's head using the syringe and head back up to the door on the floor above where your continue objective marker is located. Once there the Tyrant will wake up and you will have to collect three keycards. The one who is going for the S+ should run back downstairs to where the Tyrant was laying dormant and head to the left when you get to the bottom of the stairs. Follow that hallway until you get to a closed door, open it and destroy the camera, enemies and grab the key card. have your partner grab the other two keycards while you go for this one. Meet back up at the door and go inside. Once inside split up and go to both control rooms and activate the switches to open up a path between those doors from the middle of the room. Head into the room you just opened and go through the door. You will show up in another lab with some more zombies and another Tyrant. Collect any intel and cameras in this area and head up to the elevator. Avoid contact with this Tyrant as well. Once you head up the elevator you will be brought to a boss fight against Nemesis. For this fight you are both going to want to stay on the platform you spawn on and hug the wall to the left where the ammo crate is. You can't be hit against this wall unless you are standing out too far. Let player 2 focus on the nemesis while you just stand behind, ready to revive them and take care of any zombies that go up on that platform to attack you guys. This will get you a lot of kills towards the ending score. Once the Nemesis moves to the opposite side of the room, kill your partner and take their gun, revive them and both of you unleash on the Nemesis from that first platform while he is contending with the Spec-Ops that showed up in a cutscene when he moved. DO NOT target any Spec-Ops and they will leave you alone. The last thing you want is a pissed army of endless Spec-Ops and a pissed Nemesis at the same time. Let them work along side of you to take him out. Once he kneels down it is your opportunity to finish him off by running up to him and injecting him with the parasite. You only have about 20 seconds to inject the parasite or else he will get back up. MAKE SURE that whoever is going for the S+ is the one who injects the Nemesis.

Level 5: Expendable
75 Enemies Killed
1 Death Taken
8 Intel Collected
30 Minutes Time Completion
12 Cameras

Level 5 Quick Guide for S+ Rank in co-op: This level is a bit frustrating on the professional difficulty. This is the one and only mission I recommend attempting playing on Veteran if you are finding yourself dying too much on professional. Either way the concept remains the same. You will want to play as Spectre and collect every piece of intel you can and collect every laptop along the way. For the mission itself, have Spectre throw down a grenade into the crowd of zombies below to get some of them out of the way before they start attacking. Next head down the platform and take out the zombies. Keep heading forward into the mission and beware of the one lonely dog. Continue until you destroy the evidence in the Police Chief's office. Once you leave that room at this point the hall will fill with lickers. Defeat them before getting to close to the door at the next objective marker. Once they are defeated head into the double doors that the zombies break through and head directly to the ladder to hit the next checkpoint. Once at that checkpoint, you can turn around and throw some grenades up into the crowd of zombies or shoot them with your gun. You don't have to but instead head directly outside and deal with the group of zombies outside where you meet Leon. Continue through the garage door once the zombies are gone and take out the lickers in the garage so you can continue the level. Once through the garage head around the back of the gas station and be careful of all the Spec Ops and the sniper on the building directly across from the gas station. Once all the enemies here are defeated, continue to the next checkpoint where you will encounter a few Hunters. Be careful against the Hunters and take them down as fast as possible. Once they are defeated, head down the alleyway where another hunter will spawn. Take him out as fast as you possibly can and head to the next area. This is a part you are going to want to attempt to skip. There are a lot of enemies here and they are mostly Spec-Ops and Hunters. As soon as the cutscene ends, have Bertha shoot you with a Painkiller shot and run directly for the next checkpoint which is directly opposite you on the other side of the gas station. Run straight there with Spectre so that Bertha can suicide to continue to the next checkpoint without her having to run all the way over there also. Once you are inside the opposite garage and past the Spec-Ops they won't really worry about turning around to try shooting you so just stay on the opposite side of the garage by the blue door. Continue through the hallways until you get back on the streets. Take out the Spec-Ops and go around the corner and take out the rest of them. Once they have all been defeated, head to the open area but watch for the falling Hunter containers as they deal quite a bit of damage. This part flat out sucks. You will have to deal with 5 Hunters at once and the AI does nothing. Take them all out as fast as possible and once the very last one is killed have bertha shoot you again with Painkiller to run straight through to the Tyrants area. Once you get to the Tyrants area take out one Tyrant at a time if possible and use your AI partners as a distraction when you need some health or ammo. MAKE SURE THE ONE GOING FOR S+ GETS THE FINAL HITS ON THE TYRANTS. If they do not then they will not be able to gain enough points for S+.

Level 6: Redemption
75 Enemies Killed
3 Death Takens
16 Intel Collected
30 Minutes Time Completion
16 Cameras

Level 6 Quick Guide for S+ Rank in co-op:
For being a later level in the game, this one almost seems easier then some of the ones in the beginning of the game if you know what parts to skip. At the very start of the chapter, aim through the crates at the crowd of zombies and take them out while in safety for easy kills. Make your way to the back of the train station and activate the ladder where more enemies will appear after activating the elevator switch. Use this time to rack up as many more kills as you can. Activate the switch on the elevator and have whoever is going for S+ throw grenades down into groups of zombies as they start to appear while going down the elevator. Watch for the parasites that spawn behind you at the second stop. After going down to the very bottom of the elevator you will be faced with a boss fight. Take them out carefully before heading on to the next room. Once they are taken care of, head into the next room which will have a bunch of intel in it and some zombies to polish. Defeat them and head onto the next elevator and start heading down. Halfway down this elevator you will be swarmed by lickers. Try to take them out from a distance so they don't all get onto the platform and start attacking you at once. Once they are defeated the elevator will go down again. At the bottom there will be zombies to the left and Parasites to the right. Take them all out using grenades and your guns. Try not to let many combine together if any at all. Once these jokers are taken care of continue onwards until you get to the part where you have to run up and over the bottom of a reactor room. Be careful as there are 3 Hunters in here. Run to the checkpoint door and hit the button to activate it. Try to make the 2nd player try to distract the Hunters until the door opens. Continue onwards until you get to that long hallway where there are a bunch of zombies and Hunters. Only kill what stands in your way between you and the next checkpoint door. Run directly to it if you can and activate and wait for the door to open. The Hunters will be trying to end your life during this process so keep avoiding them the best you can until the door opens. Once the door is open head inside and collect the collectibles in there and head to the next checkpoint. Simply run to the opposite side of the reactor room and head up the ladder. Once up top, run straight through the blood frenzied zombies to the left side of the room and activate the next checkpoint. At this part you will be in front of an elevator. Once on the elevator you will be confronted with three waves of enemies. The first wave is a boss fight against a Super Tyrant, second is a round of lickers. Between 2 and three will be three jets of fire you can easily avoid by running from one end of the platform to the other and then finally a more aggressive Super Tyrant with a few more tricks up his sleeve. Have your partner try to grab the attention of the Super Tyrants. Avoid their attacks and try to maintain your distance. While playing this in co-op make sure that the person going for the S+ deals the final blow to both Super Tyrants.

Level 7: End of the Line
75 Enemies Killed
2 Deaths Taken
4 Intel Collected

Level 7 Quick Guide for S+ Rank in co-op: Playing this mission co-op with a friend makes this trophy quite the bit easier, especially at the end of the mission. This is the first mission that I don't really recommend attempting to collect every single camera. Instead I recommend playing this mission on an easier difficulty and trying to memorize where all of the intel is located. Once you have a good idea of where the intel is, Choose Vector as a character while your partner chooses Bertha but this time with her Painkiller ability. Vector will be the one trying to get all the kills in the first few parts of the missions while Bertha takes the time to stay behind to keep Vector healed and to help get him out of an sticky situations. Once you get to the final part of the mission where Leon is trying to snipe you and you must break through the wall by making a Spec-Op bleed out to start a frenzy, have Vector stay back a bit while Bertha uses her painkiller to get a Spec-Op to bleed out to start the frenzy. Once the frenzy has started and the barrier is broken through Use Vector's Active Camouflage to run through all the enemies and past Leon to the ladder to start up the final battle. Once you get to the final battle against Leon have your partner (Bertha) choose to Execute Leon while you choose to Defend him. have your partner immediately unload into the AI partner that is on his team so he won't be able to take you out. Then run around and farm the remaining kills on the zombies here and collect the rest of the collectibles in this last area. Once you have collected everything and all the zombies are dead, kill Bertha to complete the mission easily.

Skill... Or Luck?
Achieve a 10 kill streak in a Versus match.

This trophy can be boosted.

For this trophy you have to manage to get ten kills on enemies before you die once, either to other enemies or zombies. Pick yourself a decently powered gun and had into any game mode. Try to remember where there are a few first aid sprays and herbs and try to keep yourself stocked up. Heal whenever you need it and try to utilize cover when needed. This will come down to a bit of skill and a bit of luck when attempting in a public match.

If you are going to boost this trophy I recommend going for this one and Like a Bee at the same time. Use the method shown in Like a Bee and use the same method.

Once you get your ten kills in a row it will appear on the screen in red letters saying "Ten Kill Streak". You will get the trophy after the tenth kill but remember not to die to AI zombies even when boosting.

Now That's G
Collect 3 G-Virus Samples in one match.

This trophy can be boosted.

For this trophy you are going to need to be the player that recovers 3 G-Virus samples in a single game of Biohazard, however the only problem is that there are only 5 points to score per game so unless you are really good at capture the flag types of games I recommend boosting this one by taking turns scoring 3 points on each side. Simply enter a game of Biohazard and wait for the G-Virus sample to appear on the map and run to it. Pick it up and run towards your home base and deposit the sample to score a point for your team.

Once you have turned in 3 samples in a single game you will receive this trophy.

[top]
No Sample For You
Force 25 enemies to drop G-Virus Samples in Biohazard (lifetime).

This trophy can be boosted.

In order to get this trophy you are going to need to kill enemies that are carrying a G-Virus sample in a game of Biohazard before they score for their team. This does not need to be done in one match and can be done over the lifetime of the game however if you wish to boost the trophy and get it out of the way it is really easy to do.

If you wish to boost this trophy head into a game of Biohazard with your boosting partner and decide who is going to get the trophy first. Once you have decided on it have the person not going for the trophy head to the G-Virus ad pick it up. Run and find your boosting partner and have them kill you (or however it needs to be depending on who gets the trophy). Once dead have the carrier run straight back to the G-Virus sample and pick it up. Then have the carrier get shot again and keep repeating this process until the trophy is earned. Once earned switch spots and do it again.

Supreme Survivors
In Survivors mode, have all 4 players on your team Survive the game.

This trophy can be boosted.

I recommend boosting this one or it will greatly depend on luck.

If you don't wish to boost this one, head into a game of survival mode that consists of three other people on your team and play around for a while until the chopper shows up. It will give you a 30 second notice when the chopper is around. If you are playing on the most common map (The gas station) then the chopper will appear smack dab in the center of the map. The chopper only holds 4 people so as soon as it lands you need to make sure your entire team gets on without any opponents getting on. One person can completely ruin this trophy for you. If all four of your team members manage to get on the chopper then you will receive this trophy. To get on the chopper, head to the open door and hold . While you are holding you are vulnerable to getting shot and once you are in the chopper you can't shoot anymore. So make sure there are no enemies around while you attempt to hop in. If an opponent tries getting in either shoot them fast or melee them and hope it knocks them down. Only one person can get on at a time so make sure whoever is last can fend for themselves while getting on.

If you want to attempt to boost this, you are going to need 5 players. One who will not be receiving the trophy while the other four easily get on the chopper for the trophy. At the lobby make sure to use to select which team you are on otherwise it will split up the group as evenly as possible. Get four players on one side and just await the chopper and hop on one at a time while the opposing member just wastes the time.

[top]
Fallen Idols
In Heroes mode, eliminate 4 Heroes in one game.

This trophy can be boosted.

I highly recommend boosting this trophy as it will be quite difficult otherwise.

To get this trophy you have to take out all four opposing Heroes in a game of Heroes by yourself. If any of your team members or AI zombies kill any of the four heroes you will not be able to receive this trophy. There really is no good way to explain this trophy for those who do not wish to boost it besides be fast and be accurate. Defeat al four opposing members and you will receive this trophy.

Remember, killing a hero and having them respawn will respawn them as a foot soldier and not a Hero so killing them again will not in any way help receiving this trophy.

If you wish to boost this trophy you will need 5 players, the trophy recipient and the four Heroes. The easiest way to boost this is to play on the gas station map. There are numerous roofs to climb on in this area and zombies tend not to follow (occasionally you will get a hunter that jumps up but he can be taken out fairly easily with a decent gun). Meet up with the four opposing heroes on one of these roofs and take them out one by one. Once all four are taken out and the match ends you will receive this trophy.

[top]
Sampler
Play at least one match in every game mode type.

For this simple trophy you simply have to complete a match from start to finish in each of the versus game modes. There are only four game modes ad there are trophies relating to each of them so you will get this trophy along the way to your platinum without even trying.

The four game modes however are as follows:
  • Team Attack (Team Deathmatch)
  • Biohazard
  • Heroes
  • Survivor

[top]
You Love to Hate My 98
Complete 98 versus games.

This trophy can be boosted easily and quickly (In comparison to actually playing through 98 matches).

All you have to do is complete 98 matches in Versus Mode. You don't have to win, just compete in 98 altogether. A lot of the matches can take forever and last usually near 10 minutes or so but can range from 30 seconds to 15 minutes.

If you want to boost this trophy you can get together with a buddy and play Heroes Mode. Once in Heroes Mode simply choose any map and stick to that map the whole time. Find yourself a meeting spot and start up the match, head there and have one or the other players kill the other fast to get the match over with as fast as possible. Doing it this way will result in the matches lasting less time then the loading screens.

I recommend using the Apocolypse map to boost here and meet somewhere near the center.

Whichever map, method or game mode you play in, you will receive this trophy upon completing your 98th match.

Tongue Tied
Free teammate from Licker grapple.

When a teammate gets gripped by a Licker with it's tongue, quickly aim at it and shoot until your teammate breaks free. I recommend shooting at it's exposed brain as that is it's weak spot. The second campaign mission is full of Lickers near a specific spot at the end and they all will try to grip you with their tongues and so I recommend attempting this trophy in the second campaign mission.

Another good spot for this is in Mission 5. When you go into the Parking Garage following Leon you will have to fight a group of enemies. If you missed this in chapter 2 and decided to keep going, this is a great spot for this trophy also.

Like a Butterfly
Kill 100 zombies with CQC (lifetime).

For this trophy you need to execute 100 zombies using your knife. You can either do this the longer way or the shorter way.

The long way is to hack away at zombies pressing over and over until they are dead. The faster alternate method involves you knifing them once using and comboing it up with going in for an invincible fast kill.

Either way you choose to get your knife kills is completely up to you. Either way, once you hit number 100 the trophy will pop up.

Stop Squirming
17 Hunters Killed (lifetime).

Hunters can be found in Mission 3, 5 and 6 and almost any game mode of versus depending on which map you are playing on. The Hunters are the big green enemies with spikes on their backs. These enemies are almost invincible from behind so make sure you shoot them while standing in front of them facing you.

There is no real tricks to this but strong guns. When you kill an enemy hunter a message will show on the screen in red saying "Hunter Killed" while playing online. Once you have successfully killed 17 of these heavily armored enemies you will receive this trophy.

During gameplay through Mission 5 you will encounter the better part of ten of these enemies. Don't hesitate to take your time in dealing with these enemies because they hit hard and they don't let up once you get knocked down. They also tend to attack in groups making it impossible to get up once knocked down. When you defeat these enemies they have a 50/50 shot at attempting a last ditch effort of taking one final swipe at you. You will see them kneel on one knee and roar before this last ditch effort, don't worry, he is already dead but make sure you avoid that last attack.

Once you get this trophy try to avoid ever having to make contact with these guys ever again.

This Place Crawls
31 Parasites killed (lifetime).

Parasites are found in the fourth mission where you have to head to Umbrella's secret lab. That place is crawling with them. At first they will attempt to attach to a zombie and control it but once you inflict enough damage the parasite will break off resulting in the death of the host zombie and the parasite will crawl at you trying to attack you, give it a few bullets and it will die. The parasites spawn almost infinitely in that level so you can do this trophy in one go before completing the main objective.

Kill 50 opponents in Versus. (lifetime).

This could essentially be considered a story related trophy for the most part. You just have to kill 50 enemies controlled by other players. Between your ten kill streak and knife kills, 25 G-Virus drops, and other miscellaneous online trophies you should have at least near 40 enemies killed and a lot of games to play until the Play 89 Versus games match and should be extremely easily obtained. Kills with any weapon or knives count.

If you feel like grinding this out however you can boost this with a friend in Team Attack in a private match.

Hat Trick
3 Tyrants Killed (lifetime).

Tyrants start appearing on Mission 4 but there are two mandatory Tyrants you must defeat at the end of Mission 5. They are really big enemies that take a LOT to kill. For this trophy I recommend playing Mission 5 on easy a few times. There are two tyrants on this levell at the end but you don't have to worry about other zombies, parasites, or the combination of the two of them, you just have to focus on the two Tyrants at hand. Make sure you target the first Tyrant to appear until he is down and out so you don't have to worry about dodging two enemy Tyrants.

A good weapon to use is an assault rifle with good accuracy and you need to keep aiming at it's head as much as possible. He will throw his arm out to protect his face because that's his weak spot. I don't recommend using grenades because chances are that he will move out of the way by the time it explodes. but if you can corner him and throw one quickly then you will substantially reduce the amount of effort and time needed to kill them. You need to keep a close eye on the ammo box sitting by the bus in front of the little area you fight in because you will need it to refill on ammo every two minutes. a good tip is to be close enough to the tyrant that he will attempt to punch you and when he draws his fist to get ready to hit you then immediately move backwards to get out of his reach, all while shooting at him. stay near the bus and keep moving around it slowly but don't stray too far from the tyrant or he will do one of two annoying moves where he will either jump up and land on you. or will charge you. also you will want to stop firing every time you become low on ammo, because then the others will fire on him drawing their attention away from you. Use the chance to stock up on ammo, heal and revive your fallen team mates. Then get back in position by the bus and shoot at them again. You can shoot through the bus' windows if the positioning is correct which is handy because you can hit him and he wont be able to hit you or use his other lethal moves when there's a bus in between you two. Lastly, you have to focus on one tyrant and ONE tyrant only!!! this way he will go down easily making the fight a 4 against 1 (which is still an unfair fight) but it is easier than having to fight 2 tyrants for most of the duration of the fight because you keep shooting one then the second and etc...

Only Hurts For A While
Infected 13 times (lifetime).

For this trophy you simply have to become infected 13 times. You don't need to turn into a zombie, just become infected.

This can be done offline and online. If you get attacked by zombies a lot during your campaign then chances are you will easily get this trophy without trying.

To purposely get infected, find yourself some red skinned zombies. They are fast and scratch at you a lot. If they scratch you a few times you will more then likely become infected. If you wish to become a zombie that's fine, but you can use the Anti G-Virus spray to cure yourself. You will also become infected if you are grabbed by a normal zombie and don't win the little action sequence while he is grabbing you. The zombie will bite you and you will become infected.

The game will let you know once you are infected and the screen will turn blue and the less health you have the wavier and bluer the screen becomes until the meter diminishes and you turn into a zombie.

Become infected throughout the course of the game (Online and Offline) 13 times and you will receive the trophy.

13 Parasite Zombies killed (lifetime).

Parasites and Parasite zombies are found in the fourth level in Umbrella's secret lab. The parasites attach themselves to a zombie making it faster and overall more ferocious. A few well placed shots will kill the zombie and detach the parasite which will attack you on it's own or attach to another zombie if one is nearby. Also the parasite spawn infinitely so you can get this trophy in one shot before completing the main objective.

Also note that in order to get progression towards this trophy you must kill the zombie so that the parasite and the zombie die at the same time. If the zombie dies and the parasite falls off and continues to run around there will be no progression made towards this trophy.

[top]
Revival
Revive 31 teammates (lifetime).

This is a very easy silver trophy. All you have to do for this trophy is revive any downed allies you have and on the higher levels and the higher difficulties the AI will down a LOT. Simply revive them when they are down and after your 31st time doing this you will receive the trophy.

If for some reason you wish to get this trophy faster, simply head into a room where there are no enemies and take out your allies and revive them over and over again until you get the trophy.

[top]
Green Thumb
Heal with 101 Green Herbs (lifetime).

You will more then likely get this between your offline and online play. Whenever you get the chance to use an herb, do not hesitate. If you have full health then don't worry about it too much. The herbs in the game are quite plentiful. You can find herbs laying around the map as well as dropped by enemies at random.

This trophy is pretty basic and shouldn't be a problem for anyone at all.

Down Boy
Kill 13 zombie dogs (lifetime).

There are a few places in the game where you will encounter zombie dogs. There are a few dogs in the first chapter but they don't appear again til one single lonely dog appears near the beginning of Mission 5. If by the time you have completed the game and collected most of the other trophies and have no need to really play the campaign anymore start up Mission 5 on Casual Difficulty and run down the ramp and past all of the zombies. Run up the alley past the part where zombies break through the wall of the buildings on either side of you and they are on fire. You will come to a long road and the game mentions something about the dog. Take out your pistol or use your main gun to gun him down. Get to the next check point and go back to the Main Menu and keep repeating this process until you have earned this trophy.

Organic Shield
Kill 5 enemies while using a zombie as a shield.

For this trophy you will need to grab a zombie and use your pistol to kill 5 other enemies on the map. This can be done in either single player or versus. To complete this simply go up to any zombie and press and hold . This will make your character turn the zombie around and grab them as a shield and automatically pull out their handgun. Simply use your handgun to take out any 5 enemies whether they are other players or just AI zombies. Once you kill your 5th enemy you will be awarded this trophy.

Baker's Dozen
Kill 13 zombified teammates.

For this trophy you are going to need to kill 13 teammates over time that have turned into zombies.

When you see a team member has become infected, instead of healing their infection let their meter drop down and allow them to turn into a zombie. once they have become a zombie they will start running around and attacking teammates. Watch out because they are quite quick and on professional they hit hard and can kill you in just a few hits. Just be on the lookout for when a teammate is about to turn and be ready to take them out. Complete this 13 times and you will receive this trophy.

This can be done with the teammates or other players on your team during the campaign or can be done in Versus Mode in any game that requires a team.

Also note, don't have Four Eyes on your team while going for this trophy during campaign as an AI character. She has a tendency of healing the infection of your teammates, but of course not you. So you are better off leaving her on the side bench or controlling her yourself at least until you get this trophy.

[top]
So Hot Right Now
Kill 103 enemies with incendiary rounds (lifetime).

For this trophy you are going to need to choose the Assault Class as your main character.

The Assault Class has an Active Ability called "Incendiary Rounds". You will need to equip that to your character in order to obtain this trophy. Head into any map or into Versus mode. Go to anywhere there are crowds of zombies and press to activate your Incendiary Rounds Ability and just plow down the enemies while the ability lasts. Once the ability is finished try to wait for it to recover. Once it recovers repeat this process until you you receive this trophy.

A good method to making zombies come to you is to play in a private match of Versus Mode in Heroes. Choose a map that is open like the gas station and go to your boosting buddy who is on the opposite team and shoot him to make him bleed. If he is bleeding you will see a +10 pop up from his body. This will activate a blood frenzy and a lot of enemies will start crowding around them. Use an assault rifle to plow down the enemies. Playing in Heroes is beneficial because zombies and Hunters will not be able to damage you too much.

If you have a friend willing to help you get this trophy in just a few short minutes, head into the online mode and shoot them in the head once with a shotgun, this will usually make them bleed out and get swarmed by zombies. Take this time to use your ability to take out as many enemies as you can while they are all crowding around your friend while you are basically ignored by them.

Also note that the more upgraded you have the Incendiary Rounds Ability the longer the ability will last.

Bloody Good Time
Kill 5 enemies with Blood Frenzy in a single campaign game or multiplayer match.

For this trophy you are basically going to have to send enemies into blood frenzy.

To get an enemy into Blood Frenzy you have to shoot them and make them bleed out. Once they start to bleed out they will get swarmed by any zombies that are in the area. You will need to make 5 enemies bleed out to the point where they get attacked by zombies enough to have the zombies completely kill them. You can tell they are bleeding because an abnormally large amount of blood will be pouring out of the side of them.

Once five enemies have died this way you will receive this trophy.

Good weapons for making opponents bleed out are shotguns and Submachine Guns.

Raccoon City Mascot
Collect all 7 Raccoons.

For this trophy you will need to collect all seven raccoons throughout the seven missions in the game. Here is a list of the location to all of the raccoons along with a video.

Mission 1: In Birkin's Lounge, the room with the blast door and a bunch of couches, in the back behind the tall servers on the left side is the raccoon.

Mission 2: While progressing through the level naturally you will get to a control room with two Spec-Ops soldiers in it. Take them out and activate the switch. Once the cutscene ends you will get ambushed by zombies from in front and behind. Continue into the next room where the zombies ambushed from and head up the stairs. Go through the door upstairs and there will be two Spec-Ops trying to fend off zombies. Take them out and fight straight directly ahead of you to a set of double doors. Take the stairs in this room to the top where the raccoon will be waiting.

Mission 3: Once you get to the Helicopter crash landing site, hug the right wall until you get to a sewage pipe. The raccoon is right next t this pipe.

Mission 4: Once you get to the room after the first elevator take the door out into the reactor room, it has long walkways with container looking things. Head down the first walkway and at the giant platform in the middle, take a left and follow that path to a big green glowing hole in the center pillar. Head into that halllway and you will stumble across this raccoon behind one of the canisters.

Mission 5: Inside the Police Chief's office where you "Destroy Evdence". The raccoon is on a bookshelf inside that room.

Mission 6: This raccoon is located on the first elevator you come across. It will be in a back room in plain sight at the second stop the elevator makes.

Mission 7: This raccoon is located in the area where you must bleed out a Spec Op to start a frenzy while Leon is sniping above. Run through the crowd of zombies under the platform where Leon is shooting from and take the alley to your right. The raccoon will be sitting in plain sight at the end of the alley. If you are having a hard time getting there alive, use Vector's Camouflage, Bertha's Painkiller, Lupo's Super Soldier abilities.

Kill an infected teammate with a headshot before they become a zombie in any mode.

For this trophy you will need to be working alongside another player and wait for them to become infected. To tell whether or not they become infected is simple. Next to the lifebar above their username a biohazard symbol will appear in blue when your teammate is infected. While they are infected you will need to shoot them in the head and kill them before they turn into a zombie or heal themselves f the infection. If the last shot was a headshot that killed your teammate you will receive this trophy.

Like a Bee
Kill 10 enemy players in one multiplayer game with CQC.

This trophy can be boosted.

For this trophy head into any multiplayer game (however I suggest Team Deathmatch). In one match you have to kill enemies from the opposing team (actual human enemies) with your CQC which is your knife. I suggest buying the Ravager and shooting your enemy a couple times and then go for the knife kill and be careful because if there are other zombies around they may kill your opponent before you get the final blow in and it won't count as a kill towards this trophy. If the kill counted as a CQC kill it will show in red letters on the screen saying "CQC Kill +xx points).

Once you have gotten ten knife kills in one match this trophy will pop up.

If you are boosting this trophy I recommend finding a good meeting spot that both players can navigate to easily for a faster shot at this. Also choose a map that does not have any Lickers or Hunters on it.
