[top]Introduction

When was the last time you enjoyed getting dragged through the mud?
Fans of the original games and SEGA Rally Revo will rejoice with the release of this small, but action packed racing package. Featuring 5 themed stages, 14 fully licensed vehicles and a wide selection of game modes.
SEGA Rally Online Arcade is now available on PSN for $10 (6).

[top]Tips and Strategies

Drive in the tyre tracks
Terrain deformation is your friend! Drive in the tyre grooves on the mud or snow and your car will accelerate and handle better. The track will be more deformed after a few laps, which will make things much easier.

Use Manual
Manual transmission is very easy to use in this game and it gives you a huge advantage over other racers, both online and offline. Just time your gear changes and keep your car in 6th. You should only shift down to 4th for hairpins as they require you to slow down a lot.

Practice
Make sure you try out all the available circuits before you begin. They can be difficult at first, but after a few races you should have the best route memorised.

[top]
3, 2, 1, GO!!
Complete your first Quick Race.

Very easy. Just select Quick Race from the Single Player menu and finish the event.

[top]
Game Gears
Complete Championship with manual transmission.

Just start a Championship and when choosing your car, select manual. In manual you should shift up (press ) when the needle on the speedometer touches the red zone and shift down (press ) when it hits the number 4. You will not have to shift down at all for most stages as they are not very complex. Remember you don't have to win the Championship, just finish it.

[top]
Long medium left ... maybe
Play fifty games in any mode.

The trophy description is confusing. To get it you have to complete 50 Single or Multiplayer races. You will probably earn this while trying to unlock the other trophies. If not, just do a few Quick Races or complete a Championship to add to your race count.

[top]
Conditioned Reflex
Win a Classic race five times.

Win 5 Classic races. Remember to use each car twice to unlock them. If you are struggling, change the difficulty in the options menu.

[top]
Over Jump
Beat all five default ghost cars in Time Attack.

The ghost times for the selected track can be accessed by pressing . The staff lap times are very slow, so anyone with some skill should be able to beat them easily.

[top]
Go, Go, Sega Rally!
Win five online races.

Very easy to boost. Just invite someone into your private lobby and win 5 times. If you don't have a boosting partner, just go online and use manual. You should have no problem beating people that way.

[top]
Super Challenge
Unlock all courses.

To get this trophy you will have to unlock all the courses. For a guide on how to unlock them see the Game Over, Yeah! trophy below.

[top]
Reckless Running
Touch all five AI cars before winning a Quick Race.

Start up a Quick Race and make sure you have the difficulty set to Casual. Then just bump everyone as you overtake them. Choose a simple circuit so you don't miss anyone.

[top]
Ignition
Win a race with every car in the game.

To get this trophy you will have to unlock all the vehicles. For a guide on how to unlock them see the Game Over, Yeah! trophy below.

You will have to win a race using the following vehicles:

Citroen Xsara
Ford Focus RS
Subaru Impreza WRX STi
Skoda Fabia
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX
Peugeot 207 Super 2000
Toyota Celica
Lancia Super Delta HF Integrale
Bowler Nemisis
McRae Enduro
Andorra Racer
Icelandic Racer
Baja Dune Buggy

[top]
Lakeside Memory
Finish 1st on Lakeside in Championship.

Win the face off event at the end of Championship mode. You will have to win the Championship to gain access to this event. You will also unlock the secret Lakeside course.

[top]
Finish!!
Place 1st on all tracks in Quick Race on Arcade difficulty.

A little tricky this one. You will need to have some skill to earn this trophy. My advice is to use the Manual transmission, as you will accelerate much quicker if you can shift up at the right time. Also, try not to use the breaks. Just ease of the throttle as you go into corners and you should maintain your speed.

Game Over, Yeah!
Unlock all cars and courses.

Toyota Celica- Win a race using this vehicle in Classic mode.
Lancia Super Delta HF Integrale- Same as above.
Bowler Nemesis- Win a Quick Race on the 4 courses on Arcade difficulty.

Andorra Racer- Beat the staff ghost time on any circuit in Time Attack using all 6 default cars.
