[top]Overview

Players: 1
Online Trophies: None
Estimated Time to Platinum: 30-35 hours if reading, probably a good while shorter if not.
Minimum Playthroughs: You need to see 6 endings, but if you do some clever saving you can shave off a lot of time.
Collectible Trophies: Technically 9. The four CG trophies and the five trophies for wallpapers, episode summaries, and songs.
Missable Trophies: Depends on what your definition of missable is. You need to redo some of the chapters for some of the trophies anyway. There are some trophies that require you to do something specific in a specific chapter. I'll mark them in the trophy guide.
Glitched Trophies: None to my knowledge.

[top]Note About Spoilers - Please Read!

I have in this guide tried to give you a spoiler-free walkthrough on how to about the platinum. However, what constitutes as a spoiler may vary, but if there are anything in this guide that will count as a spoiler it will be very minute. Note, that I will need to spoil how to get certain routes in the game, and if you want none of that, then you're at the wrong place, mate. If you find something spoiler-worthy, then I apologize for doing so, and if you'll message me about it, I'll revise it. Thank you.

[top]Introduction

Welcome to Steins;Gate! Steins;Gate is what has become known as a Visual Novel; a pretty niche genre of games in the western world, but are absolutely huge in Japan. Visual Novels are basically advanced books. A lot of the time you will just have a static background graphic and just read a lot. Most Visual Novels acts a sort of Choose-Your-Own-Adventure book, where there will be choices for your character to take.

Steins;Gate is about time travel and the consequences behind it. You are Rintarou Okabe AKA the insane and mad scientist Hououin Kyouma! You, with your super hacka otaku friend Daru, ditzy childhood friend Mayuri, young grumpy scientist Kurisu, reserved phone-enthusiast Moeka, the semi-mysterious Suzuha, and local cat-girl Faris, go out to answer important questions such as: "Is time just an abstract conjecture of the human mind?", "Is warping of the perception of time really possible?", "What should be done with such an immense power?", and "How many anime tropes can we fit into one visual novel? (Many!)".

[top]How the Visual Novel works

In most Visual Novels at some point the novel will just flat out give you the choice at some point in the story. This is not really the case for Steins;Gate. All of the choices you make is based upon what you say to people when e-mailed, or whether or not you pick up the phone when people call. You can always bring up your phone by pressing the button. As many other Visual Novels you can choose to skip dialogue you've already seen or just all dialogue in general, and then keep an eye out for the mail icon on the display in the upper left side of the screen. For a more in depth look on what does what check out the "Event Map" section of the guide.

It's also worth noting that you can skip in text by holding down , and you can autoskip unread text by pressing (you can even set it to skip all text by tinkering with it in the options menu). It will automatically stop once you get an e-mail or stand at a choice, so don't worry, if you don't want to read the story, you can very well skip the whole reading process (this is not personally recommended, since it's a pretty damn good story in my opinion).

[top]Roadmap

I would recommend having a read-through of your own so you get as much enjoyment out of the title as possible, and then you can clean up afterwards but it's up to you. I would recommend making separate saves at the start of every chapter.

Step 1: Get to Chapter 4
Read through the novel until you get to chapter 4. You may want to get as many CG's, misc. trophies and other things along the way. You may also want to save at the beginning of each chapter. Once you get to chapter 4, save.

Step 2: Get to Chapter 6 with True Ending checkpoints
In chapter 4 and 5 there will be certain e-mails you will need to reply with the correct response to unlock the true ending. You will see how in the "Event Map" section at the bottom of the guide.

Step 3: Chapter 6 & Suzuha's Ending
Get to the chapter six and at the end you will get a choice on whether or not to send an e-mail to save a certain character, but having another go away. Save, then choose to not do it, and you will get the ending.

Step 4: Chapter 7 & Faris' Ending
Reload the save the you've just made, and then choose to send the e-mail. Go through chapter 7 and get the true ending checkpoint, and then at the end of chapter 7 you will get another choice to make, very similar to the previous chapter. Save again, and then choose to not send the e-mail, and you will get the ending.

Step 5: Chapter 8 & Luka's Ending
You know the drill now. Reload the previous save and go through chapter 8, hitting the true ending checkpoint, and then you get to the ending choice at the end of the chapter save and then do not send the e-mail for the ending.

Step 6: Get to Chapter 10 with True Ending checkpoints
Now you just need to go through chapter 9, which does not have an ending, but does have a true ending checkpoint. Once you get to chapter 10, save.

Step 7: Chapter 10 & Kurisu's ending
Go through chapter 10 but do not get the last True Ending checkpoint and then complete the visual novel for the ending.

Step 8: Mayuri's Ending
Load up that save from world 4 you did at step 1. Now just skip through the whole visual novel (though not getting any of the endings) until you reach chapter 10. Get through chapter 10 as well and you will not have gotten any of the true ending checkpoints and therefore get this ending. You may want to get some of the missing CG's and trophies and stuff in this step. It's up to you.

Step 9: True Ending
Load up the save from chapter 10 with 5 out of the 6 true ending checkpoints reached. Go through chapter 10 once more and this time get the last true ending checkpoint and at the end of the visual novel you will have gained the true ending and therefore gain: "All Worldlines Complete ", which is one of the two main trophies to get.

Step 10: Clean-up

The other main trophy is: "100% CG Achievement ". Go back to all of the chapters and get all of the CG's and Misc. trophies you're missing (not tips tough). Note that the last CG does not appear until you've gotten everything else, and then you'll get an e-mail at any point in the story you load up.

[top]Trophies

[top]
Sky Clad Observer
Unlocked all trophies.

Once you've reached Steins;Gate and gotten every other trophy in the game you will receive this.

[top]
The Choice of Steins Gate
Started Steins;Gate.

You'll get this trophy as soon as you boot up the game and get to the main menu.

[top]
Prologue of the Beginning and the End
Prologue Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed!
The prologue is fairly short and there are no choices to be made, so it's mostly just a question about reading through it.

[top]
Time Travel Paranoia
Chapter 1 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed!
The first chapter is kind of convoluted in explanations and setting up plot, but there aren't a lot of choices, at least not a lot of choices that really matters. This is also the chapter you get: "Homerun-level Clumsiness ", "RaiNet's Mascot ", half of "Princesses of Chaos ", and a fifth of "Hero of RaiNet ".

[top]
Interpreter Rendezvous
Chapter 2 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed!
Not a lot to talk about chapter 2. There are a few decisions to take note of, and the chapter itself is one of the slower ones (except for one pretty bone-chilling moment). This is also where you get "Cruel Sister ", a third of "Songs of Chaos ", and a few choice-specific CG's.

[top]
Butterfly Effect's Divergence
Chapter 3 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed!
Chapter 3 is where things start to get up to speed. Here you will also be able to get one third of "Songs of Chaos ", one fifth of "Hero of RaiNet " and one third of "Froggy Fad Demise ".

[top]
Chaos Theory Homeostasis
Chapter 4 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed!
Chapter 4 has by far the most choice-specific events in the game. Not only does the first True Ending checkpoint appear in this chapter, but you also need to get "Genius Girl's Melancholy ", "Discontinuous Qualia ", "Cat's Tea Time ", and the last three thirds of "Hero of RaiNet ".

[top]
Dogma in Event Horizon
Chapter 5 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed!
Chapter 5 is kind of annoying trophy-wise, since some of the choice-specific events requires you to get the True Ending checkpoint, and some require you to not get them. In this chapter there is another True Ending checkpoint, as well as, "Passions Best Forgotten ", the second half of "Princesses of Chaos ", and the last third of "Songs of Chaos ".

[top]
Metaphysics Necrosis
Chapter 6 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed as long as you don't get an ending before this chapter is done!
Chapter 6 has the first ending, Suzuha's to be specific. Chapter 6 is probably also the longest chapter. Despite that there is only one choice for a CG, and then the choice for the ending.

[top]
Made in Complex
Chapter 7 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed as long as you don't get an ending before this chapter is done!
Chapter 7 is a bit more return to form. It has the most complex e-mail, dialogue tree so watch out for that one. In this chapter there is another True Ending checkpoint, as well as, the last two thirds of "Froggy Fad Demise ", and Faris' Ending.

[top]
Fractal Androgynous
Chapter 8 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed as long as you don't get an ending before this chapter is done!
This is a pretty sweet, and relatively short chapter. It only has a choice for a True Ending checkpoint, and Luka's Ending.

[top]
Endless Apoptosis
Chapter 9 Clear

Story-related and cannot be missed as long as you don't get an ending before this chapter is done!
Chapter 9 is probably the least choice-specific chapter. There is a choice for a CG, and a True Ending checkpoint. That's it. The chapter itself is pretty intense though. We are nearing the end so that's natural. Also remember that the ending after chapter 10 is based on how many of the True Ending checkpoints you've gotten, and there is another one in chapter 10 as well.

[top]
Open The Steins Gate
Reached Steins Gate.

Ending!
This is for getting the True Ending. For those of you unaware of Japanese Visual Novels or RPGs, they often have a "True Ending" which is perceived as the canonical ending that they often built sequels based upon. To get the True Ending you need to get to chapter 10 without triggering any other ending, while picking certain options when talking to Kurisu over e-mail. You can call these checkpoints or flags. It's important to notice that these has to happen in sequence, so if the instance in chapter 7 doesn't appear, then you didn't handle the instance in chapter 5 correctly.

The first instance of talking to Kurisu over e-mail happens in chapter 4. At some point Kurisu will send you an e-mail titled: "Did you write it?" here reply to "Scientist". This will start an e-mail conversation between you and Kurisu. The things to reply to next are, in order, "Bad scientist --> Do better --> Outsider --> Disgrace --> Why am I still here???". Kurisu will send one last e-mail titled: "Being here". Read it. This will also give you: "Genius Girl's Melancholy "

The second instance is in chapter 5. Kurisu will send an e-mail titled: "Plans", here reply to "Traveling Expenses". Kurisu will then send two mails, one where she gets mad, and then one where she apologizes. Read both of them.

The third instance is in chapter 7. Kurisu will send an e-mail titled: "The key (Д `)". In this conversation reply in this order: "I don't have a key --> Security --> Reality". Kurisu will send one more e-mail titled: "Reality". Read it.

The fourth instance is in chapter 8. Kurisu will send an e-mail titled: "Explain yourself!". Read it. You can reply to it, but you don't have to. Whether you reply or not doesn't matter, as long as you read it. Kurisu will send another e-mail later titled: "From an unpopular girl". Read that as well.

The fifth instance is in chapter 9. Kurisi will send an e-mail titled: "Contact me, idiot!". Reply to "Worried". Kurisu will then later reply. Read the reply.

The sixth and last instance is in chapter 10. Kurisu will send an e-mail titled: "Where are you now?". Reply to the "Where you are", and that's it! Once you get to the end of the chapter the true ending begins.

For a more fulfilling guide see the "Event Map" section of the guide.

[top]
Genius Girl's Melancholy
Made friends with Kurisu via email.

Choice-specific!
This is gotten in chapter 4, and is the first objective to get the True Ending. At some point in chapter 4 Kurisu will send you an e-mail titled: "Did you write it?" here reply to "Scientist". This will start an e-mail conversation between you and Kurisu. The things to reply to next are, in order, "Bad scientist --> Do better --> Outsider --> Disgrace --> Why am I still here???". Kurisu will send one last e-mail titled: "Being here". Read it for the trophy.

[top]
Paradox Meltdown
Reached Kurisu's ending.

Ending!
To get this ending you need to get to chapter 10 without triggering any other ending, and get at least one, but not all of the True Ending checkpoints, so basically if you fulfill the requirements of "Genius Girl's Melancholy ". It's important to note that if you're past chapter 4 and did not fulfill the requirements of "Genius Girl's Melancholy " all of the other True Ending checkpoints will be unavailable, so it's chapter 4 or nothing. I would suggest to check out either "Open The Steins Gate " or the "Event Map" section at the bottom of the guide, and then just get the first five of the True Ending checkpoints, and then save at the beginning of chapter 10, and just ignore the last checkpoint for this trophy and then reload the save and get the checkpoint for the true ending.

[top]
Stardust Sky
Reached Mayuri's ending.

Ending!
For this ending you need to get to chapter 10 without triggering any other endings, while avoiding all of the True Ending checkpoints. So, when you get to chapter 4 and you get an e-mail from Kurisu titled: "Did you write it?", just simply ignore it. At the end of chapter 10, you will get this ending. If I were you I would also make a separate save in chapter 5 on this run, since there are some misc. trophies to get there where they require you to not get the checkpoint in chapter 4.

[top]
Irreversible Reboot
Reached Suzuha's ending.

Ending!
Towards the end of chapter 6 you will have to make a choice concerning Suzuha. It's fairly obvious when you get there. You can then either choose to send or not send an e-mail. Send it to progress the novel, don't send it for Suzuha's Ending.

[top]
Link of Corruption and Rebirth
Reached Luka's ending.

Ending!
Towards the end of chapter 8 you will have to make a choice concerning Luka. It's fairly obvious when you get there. You can then either choose to send or not send an e-mail. Send it to progress the novel, don't send it for Luka's Ending.

[top]
Isolated Jamais Vu
Reached Faris's ending.

Ending!
Towards the end of chapter 7 you will have to make a choice concerning Faris. It's fairly obvious when you get there. You can then either choose to send or not send an e-mail. Send it to progress the novel, don't send it for Faris' Ending.

[top]
All Worldlines Complete
Completed all endings.

There are a total of 6 endings, including a True End (which is the canonical ending). They each have a trophy, and are all therefore described (I've even marked them), so either go look at those trophies or check out the "Event Map" for the really big picture.

[top]
25% CG Achievement
Unlocked 25% of CGs.

See: "100% CG Achievement " for more info.

[top]
50% CG Achievement
Unlocked 50% of CGs.

See: "100% CG Achievement " for more info.

[top]
75% CG Achievement
Unlocked 75% of CGs.

See: "100% CG Achievement " for more info.

[top]
100% CG Achievement
Unlocked all CGs.

CG's are computer graphics. They are the "special art" of the game. Most of the time, it's just a layer with character art put on top of a background, but the CG's are picture of characters actually painted ON the environment. There are 77 of these in total. They can be viewed in the "Extras" menu after getting your first ending. Most of these comes from just completing the stories. They will also require you to get every single ending, and there are even a few CG's that requires you to do some certain choices. The latter are in the "Event Map" section at the bottom of the guide. The last CG will unlock once you have all of the other CG's. To get it, start a new game, skip past the prologue and as soon as you have access to your phone you can find it by opening an attachment in an e-mail sent to your phone.

[top]
Memories of the Self
[Phone Trigger] Viewed email send history at least once.

Pretty much unmissable. You pull out your phone by pressing , and you can do that almost any time you want. Just press the upper left button on the phone and there you go.

[top]
Memories of Another
[Phone Trigger] Read an email.

Pretty much unmissable. You pull out your phone by pressing , and you can do that almost any time you want. Just press the upper left button on the phone and then choose an e-mail to read and pick that, and you will get this.

[top]
Resonant Reaction
[Phone Trigger] Replied to an email.

You pull out your phone by pressing , and you can do that almost any time you want. Not all e-mails can be replied to. Some e-mails have highlighted blue text. Those words or sentences can be selected and you will send a reply concerning that specific block of text. This is also how you get most of the misc. trophies in this game. Just send a reply to an e-mail and you will get this trophy.

[top]
Message of Oblivion
[Phone Trigger] Cleared someone's mail without reading it.

This one is a bit trickier. There are no manual way to clear an e-mail, but there are points in the story where e-mails get cleared (like endings, but there are also some in the middle of the story as well). If you pass one of those points in the story while having an e-mail that is unread you will get this trophy.

[top]
Vision Projection
[Phone Trigger] Changed phone wallpaper.

Easy. You pull out your phone by pressing , and you can do that almost any time you want. Press the lower right button. Choose "Change Wallpaper", press a wallpaper and then press "Set as Ringtone" (why ringtone I don't know. Probably an oversight on the developers part), and there you go.

[top]
First Sound
[Phone Trigger] Changed ringtone.

You pull out your phone by pressing , and you can do that almost any time you want. Press the lower right button. Choose either "Ringtone for Call" or "Ringtone for Mail", and then choose a ringtone and then press "Set as ringtone" and you will get the trophy.

[top]
Identity of Complete Isolation
[Phone Trigger] Ignored a phone call.

Throughout the story you will several phone calls. Some can be ignored, some can't. Some contains CG's and misc. trophies, some don't. The first phone call you are able to ignore is in chapter 2, when Mayuri calls you while you're in the shopping district, however, that one has both CG's and a misc. trophy tied to it, so you may want to either save before ignoring it or just wait until the end of chapter 3 where Daru calls you and choosing to either ignore or answer it has no impact on anything related to the platinum trophy or the story.

[top]
Hero of RaiNet
[Phone Trigger] Received all 13 RaiNet episode summaries.

Choice-specific!
This is a trophy that expands over chapter 1, 3, and especially 4. By replying in a certain way to certain e-mails you can get an attached file with a summary of one of the plots for the Yu-Gi-Oh-esque card-based cartoon for children RaiNet. There may be 13 different summaries but they are spread out on only five different e-mails.

Early in chapter 1, you will get an e-mail from Mayuri about Upa's. Here reply to the "Upa" and a little later on you will get another e-mail from Mayuri. Here reply to the "Kakeru-kun" (there is also a file attached to this e-mail which is what gives you "RaiNet's Mascot "). Towards the end of the chapter Mayuri will send yet another e-mail, where this summary is attached.

In early chapter 3 you will get an e-mail from Faris about PHANTASM. Reply to "Theme Song". Sometime later you will get another e-mail from Faris about RaiNet. Select "RaiNet Kakeru" here. A little while later a third e-mail from Faris appears which contains the episode summaries.

In early chapter 4 Mayuri will send you an e-mail about lotteries. Here reply to "Magazine". A little later Luka will send you an e-mail. This one just contains the summary and requires no further action than to just open the attachment. A little later you will get an e-mail from Faris. Here reply to "He". Later, Mayuri will then respond to the e-mail you send in the beginning of the chapter. Reply to the "Crunchy-kun". Faris will then reply, and you will need to reply to the "Chinchilla Star". A good while later on, Mayuri will respond again. Here reply to the "Kakeru-kun". Mayuri will respond again, this time with summary. Open the attachment. Faris will then respond a little later. Reply to the "Ep. 8". Faris will then e-mail you the last summary. Open the attachment.

[top]
Froggy Fad Demise
[Phone Trigger] Received all Gero Froggy wallpapers.

Choice-specific!
This trophy expands over chapter 3 and 7. You can not do this on one run, since there are two different e-mails in chapter 7 that give the wallpapers and doing one will negate the other, so I recommend saving at the beginning of chapter 7 for this reason. It's also important to note that to even get to that point in chapter 7 you will need to have hit both of the True Ending checkpoints that comes before the one in chapter 7.

In chapter 3, not too far from the beginning of the chapter you will get an e-mail from Luka titled: "About Frogs". Reply to "Gero Froggie". Luka will then send you another e-mail shortly after. Open the attachment and cycle through all three of the wallpapers.

In chapter 7, considering that you've hit all True Ending checkpoints, you will get an e-mail from Kuriso titled: "The key (Д `)". Here reply to "I don't have a key" and then Kurisu will reply. Reply to "Frog" and Kurisu will e-mail you again. Open the attachment to see the wallpaper.
Then in the e-mail titled: "The key (Д `)" reply to "Home" instead the next time, and then you'll get another e-mail. Reply to "Hyahha", and you'll get another e-mail. Reply to "I'm gonna give it to you straight" and you'll get another e-mail. Open the attachment for the last Gero Froggy wallpaper.

[top]
Songs of Chaos
[Phone Trigger] Received 4 songs from a chaotic head.

Choice-specific!
This trophy expands over chapter 2, 3, and 5. You need to receive some songs from Faris from certain e-mail conversations. I'll recommend letting the songs play for 2-3 second before putting away the phone, since I had to do one again since it didn't register.

In early chapter 2, you will get an e-mail from Faris titled: "Original Sin level rising to 180%". Here reply to "2000" and you will get another e-mail from Faris shortly after. Open the attachment to get the song.

In early chapter 3, you will get an e-mail from Faris titled: "PHANTASM is the cat's meow". Here reply to "PHANTASM", and later you will get another e-mail from Faris. Reply to "Chaos" and shortly after you get another e-mail. Open the attachment, and make sure you register both of the songs.

Towards the end of chapter 5, you will get an e-mail from Faris titled: "ComiMa". Reply to "Collapsing", and shortly after Faris sends you another e-mail. Open the attachment to get the last song.

[top]
RaiNet's Mascot
[Phone Trigger] Received 2 Upa wallpapers.

Choice-specific!
This trophy is gotten in chapter 1, and is gotten via e-mail communication with Mayuri.

Early in chapter 1, you will get an e-mail from Mayuri titled: "Upa...". Reply to "Upa", and a little later in the chapter, Mayuri will respond. Open the attachment in the e-mail and cycle through both wallpapers for the trophy.

[top]
Princesses of Chaos
[Phone Trigger] Received 3 wallpapers of characters from a chaotic head.

Choice-specific!
This trophy is split into chapter 1 and 5. You get these wallpapers via e-mail communication. Note that you cannot get the one in chapter 5 if you passed the True Ending checkpoint.

In late chapter 1, you will get an e-mail from Faris titled: "The final battle is close at hand nya". Here, reply to "Red Southern Cross" and Faris will shortly after reply. Open the attachment for the wallpaper.

In the middle of chapter 5 (if you are going for the Mayuri Ending) Mayuri will send you an e-mail titled: "What made me happy today". Here reply to "Fubuki-chan and Kaede-chan" and shortly after, Mayuri will reply. Open the attachment and cycle through both wallpapers for the trophy.

[top]
Discontinuous Qualia
[Phone Trigger] Asked by Kurisu to buy cup noodles twice in a row.

Choice-specific!
In chapter 4, Kurisu will send an e-mail titled: "Did you write it?". Here, reply to "Report". Then a lot later in the chapter, Kurisu will respond to the e-mail. Reply to "Cup Noodles" and a bit later you will get another e-mail from Kurisu. Read it for the trophy.

[top]
Passions Best Forgotten
[Phone Trigger] Learned why Mayuri started making costumes.

Choice-specific!
You can only get this trophy if you ignore the first True Ending checkpoint in chapter 4. If you that, then Mayuri will send you an e-mail in chapter 5 titled: "What made me happy today". Here, reply to "Cosplay". A little while later Mayuri will reply. Read the e-mail to get the trophy.

[top]
Warrior Girl's Pride
[Phone Trigger] Received an unusual proposition from Suzuha.

Choice-specific!
In chapter 4 you will get an e-mail from Suzuha titled: "Akihabara's". Here, reply to "Peaceful", and a little while later Suzuha will reply. Read the e-mail to get this trophy.

[top]
Cruel Sister
Learned about Luka's relationship to his sister.

Choice-specific!
In the beginning of chapter 2, Luka will send you an e-mail titled: "I made sweets." Here, reply to "Family", and a good while later in the chapter he will respond. Here, reply to "My sister". He will then at the end of the chapter respond. Read the e-mail to get the trophy.

[top]
Cat's Tea Time
[Phone Trigger] Offered tea by Faris.

Choice-specific!
Midway through chapter 4, Faris will send you an e-mail titled: "Sign of increasing misfortune". Here, reply to "He" and Faris will respond a little later in the chapter. Reply to "NyanNyanian", and towards the end of the chapter, Faris will send another e-mail. Read it to get the trophy.

[top]
Homerun-level Clumsiness
Made 10 mistakes while attempting to set the PhoneWave (name subject to change)'s timer.

Choice-specific!
You can get this two places in chapter 1. One is at the beginning of the chapter, and the other one is at the end. There will two points in the chapter where you need to type in "120#" on a numpad to start the PhoneWave. Instead of doing that, press the wrong thing ten times. Basically just keep mashing to just rapidly put in "1111" over and over again. Once you've messed up ten times you will get the trophy.

[top]Event Map

[top]Introduction - Please Read!

As most of the trophies are based on decisions you make in this visual novel, a sort of roadmap on when the important choices come and what to choose would be pretty handy. A lot of the misc. trophies comes from picking certain reply options when receiving an e-mail. You do this by highlighting a certain word or sentence fragment from the received e-mail, and then press to send a e-mail that will focus on that certain word. This "map" will list all of the important choices in chronological order, and what to do to get the certain things. This will involve CG's, Misc. trophies and endings. There aren't any choices in the prologue so I'll just skip that.

IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO NOTE... that a lot of the e-mail conversations will be intertwined with each other. So while the first initial e-mail will always be in chronological order in the guide, it doesn't mean that the last e-mail of the previous entry will come before the first e-mail that comes after. Heck, sometimes they the next one even manages to finish first.

Some people would probably prefer visual representation rather than this chronological style. If you're that type of person I would recommend checking out the Steins;Gate Wikia's guide for 100% completion. It's in a form of a flow-chart and is very helpful. It can be found here!
