[top]Introduction

Saints Row IV is the newest continuation of the Saints Row series. In this over-the-top action sandbox game you control the boss. A self-made character who is the leader of the Saints, a mob group, and the president of the United States. Unfortunately you get kidnapped by aliens and put in a simulation. Here you need to fight, destroy, wreck and use your sweet new super powers to defeat the evil Zinyak of the Zin empire to take back Earth and be the hero once more. There is guaranteed a lot of ass-kicking, awesome guns, loads of challenges, a sweet soundtrack and good ol' fashioned revenge.

The game's trailer:

[top]Tips & Strategies

  • Upgrade as soon as you can.
  • Go for personal upgrades, rather than weapon and vehicle upgrades.
  • Only upgrade your favourite guns or the guns having a challenge attached to them.
  • Go for clusters when you see them, to ease the later grinding.
  • XP rises faster than cache so focus on the cache.
  • Get the Collectible Finder from the first sidequest from Matt Miller. It makes upgrading less of a hassle.

  • The Dubstep gun and the SMG's are an easy way to dispose of a crowd of regular enemies.
  • For the Murderbots, use the shotgun and aim for the head.
  • RPG's are pretty good against portals.
  • For flying enemies, the Freeze Blast is useful since it makes them crashland.
  • For the armored robots with the weakspot at the back of the head use the Bounce Rifle or the Abduct Gun.
  • Wardens are killed easiest with a combination of the Arch-lightining Buff and an upgraded Bounce Rifle.
  • Tanks can be disposed off with the Freeze Blast and RPG's.
  • Alien Car are easily disposable by throwing them away with Telekinesis.

  • Try to complete as much of the challenges you can while doing the sidequests and the main quests. This will ultimately lower the grinding time.
  • None of the challenges are missable, so take it in your own pace.
  • When doing the activities try to get gold, so you don't have to redo it.
  • Use the challenge section further below for additional help on each specific challenge.

[top]Cheats, Glitches, & Exploits

There are cheats, but unfortunately they disable trophies. There has not been found any other exploits. Sorry.

[top]Roadmap

In this step, go through the game. Remember to do all of the sidequests before starting the last main quest, for "Saints & Sensibility ". Also remember to get the other missable trophy: "You Chose... Poorly ". Other than that focus on collectibles, upgrading, and the challenges to minimize the next step. The main game + sidequests can take some time, but it's mainly easy (even on the hardest difficulty). You can choose whatever difficulty you'd like, so choose "easy" to make the game quicker to platinum.

So after the main game is complete, all sidequests have been done, and the entire simulation have been liberated, it's time to finish off the collectables, the challenges and the misc. trophies. Grind towards those now to gain a new platinum. This may take some time, since some of the trophies and challenges can take quite a lot of time to complete.

[top]Trophies

[top]
Kingpin
Unlock all Trophies in Saints Row IV.

Like all other Platinums, collect all other trophies to add this one to your collection. Good Luck!

[top]
Zero Saints Thirty
Complete 'Zero Saints Thirty'.

Zero Saints Thirty is your opening mission, serving as a tutorial.
After the opening cutscene, follow the on-screen prompt to stealth kill, then make your way to the comm room, shooting terrorists along the way.
When you get to Cyrus (whom you may remember from Saints Row The Third as the S.T.A.G. Commander), follow the QTEs to kill him, then follow more QTEs to stop the nuclear missile. A cutscene will then end the mission.

[top]
Destroyer-In-Chief
Complete 'The Saints Wing'.

It's been 5 years since the Zero Saints Thirty mission and you are The President of The United States of America! However, there is little time for celebration, because the Zin alien invasion is on!
After a few conversations and a cutscene where the Zin aliens crash the press conference, go to the Oval Office and get your arsenal of firepower.
Head to the Portico, killing aliens along the way. Once you get to the Portico, get in your turret seat and start shooting down the alien craft, followed by a bigger battleship.
You'll now be face-to-face with the Zin emperor, Zinyak. Follow the QTEs, then watch the closing cutscene.

[top]
There Is No Pancakes
Complete 'A Pleasant Day'.

The simulation has trapped you, and you're stuck in a strange 1950s setting. It's time to start breaking out!
After your pancakes, head to the diner, then to the park. Once Kinzie tells you what's happening, start killing the cops, picking up the blue orbs to restore health as needed.
Next, pick up the rocket launcher by the Professor Genki Cat statue and get ready for a session of Mayhem! Blowing up a few cop cars should be more than enough for $100,000 worth of damage.
Now it's time to take down the Sheriff, also with the rocket launcher. He can dodge your shots, so adjust accordingly. After a few hits, he should be taken care of.
Watch the closing cutscene where Kinzie informs you of what's going on to close the mission.

[top]
Woah.
Get your first Super Powers.

It's time to take the fight to the Zin with your first Super Powers!
During "Learn The Rules: Time To Increase The Tempo", Kinzie will direct you to the first 4 Data Clusters. After acquiring them, you'll be directed to the Super Powers section of your HUB, where you will buy your first 2 Super Powers: Super Sprint and Super Jump.
Next, you will go to 2 "training programs", first for Super Jump, then for Super Sprint. Simply follow Kinzie's directions to complete both training sessions, after which you'll receive this trophy.

[top]
Don't Panic
Complete 'The Real World'.

It's time to get back to the real Earth! But what will you find when you get there?
Get to the marked location and go through the blue light. Suddenly, you'll be on a ship, stripped of your weapons (and clothing).
Get to the marked platform and press R1 when prompted to steal a gun. Then make your way to the landing platform, killing aliens along the way. Once you get to the platform, defend your position until a cutscene triggers where you are rescued by a hovercaft, piloted by Kinzie and your Vice President, Keith David.
After the cutscene ends, you'll pilot the hovercraft. Use L2 and R2 to roll sideways to avoid crashing. Once you get past the tunnel, you'll watch a cutscene of Earth getting destroyed and you going back to the simulation, which ends this mission.

[top]
Ghost in the Machine
Download a new ally into a robotic body.

Time to gain a new ally in the war against Zinyak!
Drive to the marked area and pick up the Bounce Gun. Touch the center device to activate it, as the others are duds that will not work.
Reach the roof on the waypiont, then defend CID until Kinzie hacks it (the meter is full).
Head to a Power Source, protecting CID along the way, then clear out the aliens. Then head to the next marked area to continue the download, clearing aliens along the way.
You'll get bad news from Kinzie: CID is overheating! You have just 30 seconds to get back to him and freeze him with Freeze Blast to cool him off.
Now defend CID for another 3 minutes against Murderbots and other Zin troops, then kill the Warden to learn the Telekinesis Power. After the Power Tutorial, you'll receive your trophy.

[top]
Didn't Need to See Him Naked
Complete 'Matt's Back'.

Kinzie may not like it, but you need Matt back first. Let's get to it!

After entering the Broken Shillelagh and watching a cutscene, you'll be in a purple tank, first in a 2D overhead view, then in a more "modern" 3D view. Destroy enemies and walls with your tank cannon to proceed.
When you get to the third tower, defend your position, then get on the bike. Avoid obstacles and enemies as you have only 4:30 to get to the IO tower.
You now have a choice of doors to go through. Go through the red one first (for You Chose...Poorly), then the blue one after restarting.
You'll now be trapped in a computer game similar to an early 1980s "Text Adventure" game. The correct responses are:
I Am a Slave, Enter the Purple Star, Drink the Wine, Make 2 martini glasses out of coconuts, Offer the architect a drink, Your mom's a slave, You locked me in a virtual hell-hole, I'm sorry, I said I'm Sorry, I want to rescue Matt Miller, Then What's That, Then Where's Matt?, Let's Do This!, I Know You Can Do This!, Punch Killbane, Punch Killbane, Punch Killbane, Time to go, Matt, Pick up the phone.

After acquiring the mech suit, go up to the door and shoulder-butt it to open it. Punch through enemies, collecting blue repair kits as needed, until you get to Matt.
Defend Matt as he adds guns to your mech suit, then head to the ship, fighting both aliens and aircraft.
Take control of the ship's turrets and shoot down the alien aircraft, then destroy the panel ON THE RIGHT (Kinzie will say left by accident)to block the shielded mothership.

[top]
Blast from the Past
Complete 'A Game of Clones'.

You've just rescued Ben King, but now the past has come back to try and kill you!

After defeating a Warden when returning to the simulation after rescuing Ben King, you will face past foes, such as Vice Kings and Morningstars. Team up with CID and throw him with Telekinesis into various relays and shield generators to destroy them. There are three generators you will have to destroy and you will face your first Maurader along the way, which can only be shot in the back of its head. Let it lock onto you, then dash behind him for a clear shot.
Head to the Source and use telekinesis to throw the various clones into it, including 2 Stillwater Default Players from the first Saints Row. Finally, defeat the Warden at the Data Surge to complete the mission and get your trophy.

[top]
About Time!
Complete 'Welcome Back'.

Now that it's confirmed that Johnny Gat is back, it's time to get him back!
It's time to play Saints of Rage, a spoof of the classic 2D brawler Streets of Rage! You'll use the face buttons to jump, grapple, punch and kick with Johnny Gat as your CPU partner. Run over weapons to acquire them and food to restore health. After 4 stages, you'll face Jyunchi, who will execute Aisha (Johnny Gat's old flame). Kinzie will "reset", starting a 2-part battle. Use grapples for maximum damage and approach diagonally. During Part 2 of the battle, Jyunchi will become Super Jyunchi and add a leaping attack. Jump when you see the crosshairs to avoid it.Once Saints of Rage ends, enter the mech suit and fight through another facility while Kinzie works to take down a force field. Once you get to the main chamber, clear out all the enemies, then proceed through a trail of dead aliens to trigger a cutscene that explains how Johnny Gat survived Saints Row The Third. Yep, Gat's Back!

[top]
Betrayed
Complete 'All Hands On Deck'.

You're ready to take out Zinyak. Or are you?
After the cutscene ends, fight the Zin with your Powers disabled. Take out the tanks, then get in the helicopter, providing cover for Johnny Gat's car. Scout ahead and destroy roadblocks until your helicopter crashes. Enter the Super Ethical Reality Climax building, defend Kinzie while she hacks and kill with the turrets to fill up the Murder Meter, hitting the "Ethical" signs to trigger fire and electrical traps, then kill Professor Genki. Head to the Prize Room to escape, then drive away and use the RPG launcher to clear a path through roadblocks.
Next, Zinyak will attack and take Kinzie. You'll return to the ship, where you'll have to clear out various decks and save your team before boarding Zinyak's ship, which has docked next to yours.
Pick up the bombs and the alien machine gun, then plant the bombs at the reactor and control room. Then you'll have just 1 minute to escape to your ship.
Now watch the closing cutscene, revealing you've been betrayed by Keith David!

[top]
Poodle Skirt
Complete 'Hello Teacup'.

Now that Keith David has been restored to his senses, it's time to rescue Kinzie!

After being transported to the 50s, stomp the flowers, then proceed to the next Kinzie and beat down the cops.
Head to City Hall to find the "real" Kinzie, rewire the speakers and pick up the Dubstep Gun. Use the Dubstep Gun to blow up the Propaganda Trucks that try to run you over.
Next, go up to the dance floor, triggering a cutscene, then kill Cyrus with the Dubstep Gun to end the mission.

[top]
Keymaster
Complete 'Batteries Not Included'.

You've figured out how to make a key to Zinyak's lair, but now the key needs power!
Go to the marked area and search for the power source with CID and Fun Shaundi, then take it. At area 2, you'll disable a shield first, followed by 2 shields at area 3, and finally 9 shields at the last area.
Get in the tank. You have just 3 minutes to get it to the drop-off point.

[top]
Imperator
Complete 'Grand Finale'.

It's time to defeat Zinyak, once and for all!

This mission is in 3 parts and you'll have your choice of 2 different homies for each part of the mission.
PART 1: The mainframe key.
Escort the truck to Zinyak's tower. When you crash, use Telekinesis to pick up and deliver the key, then defend the key while CID hacks it.
After entering the building, stomp the circuit breakers, take down the suppression fields and destroy the relays, defending CID and the key along the way until CID delivers the key to the proper spot.
PART 2: Overload Simulation.
Clear the platforms of aliens and defend the portals for the time needed (1:00 for the first, 1:30 for the second and 2:00 for the third).
Then you will have just 3 minutes to find an escape portal. After 2 portals close, the third one will work. A screen from the first Saints Row will show, press "Continue Game" to proceed.
PART 3: Zin Mothership.
Find the Armory, then defend your position while your crew blasts the door open.
Get the Power Armor and drop into the chute, avoiding the lasers along the way.
Locate and destroy the Power Conduits, then dodge the debris on the way down the chute, then get ready for the finale!
ZINYAK BOSS BATTLE: Freeze and shoot Zinyak. Dodge his shots and stomps.
At 50% health, Zinyak will put a shield up. Use Telekinesis to hurls explosive CIDs at Zinyak. Once the shield is down, clear out the massive amount of aliens. Keep moving to avoids being overwhelmed until your homis show up. Once Zinyak's health is on, follow the on-screen QTEs to kill Zinyak and watch the ending! Congratulations, you are now Emperor of the Zin Empire!

[top]
Saints & Sensibility
Complete 'Grand Finale' after completing all Homie missions.

This trophy is awarded after beating the game, but ONLY if everyone's side missions, Loyalty Missions and romances are done before "Grand Finale". As there is no way to play previous missions without starting a new game, make sure you do all Homie Missions as soon as they are available.

[top]
And I Ran...
Super Sprint for 250,000 meters.

This is a very time-consuming trophy as 250,000 meters works out to 250 kilometers or over 124 miles, depending on your method of measurement. Super Sprint EVERYWHERE, especially after you get the Unlimited Super Sprint upgrade during Keith David's questline. This trophy will take time, but stick to the plan and you'll get this eventually. You will use sprinting as your major sense of transportation, so this will come while getting the other trophies.

[top]
Don't Look Down
Be airborne during Super Jumps for a combined 10 minutes of gameplay.

10 minutes of being airborne sounds like a lot, but this should come naturally through normal play.
An early side mission has you jumping up one of the large towers to climb it to the top, making it a good spot to farm towards this trophy. Don't worry if that's not enough as you'll be using your Super Jump a lot during this game.

[top]
Chill Out
Freeze and Shatter Kill 100 Aliens with the Freeze Blast Super Power.

After the "Hot and Cold" mission, you'll acquire the Freeze Blast Super Power when you beat the Warden. Like the name would suggest, this power allows you to freeze targets and hit them for extra damage, shattering them in the process. This power may seem basic, but is one of your best Powers, especially when upgraded.
Simply put, use this repeatedly after acquiring this power and this trophy will pop in no time.

[top]
Pounding the Pavement
Kill 150 Aliens with the Stomp Super Power.

After beating the "Matt's Back" mission, you will immediately face a Warden when returning to the Simulation. After defeating it, you will acquire the Stomp Super Power. This Power allows you to stomp the ground, either while standing or when jumping, to damage enemies and scatter them in all directions.
This can be a tough power to farm towards, as one hit is often not enough to defeat a Zin, even when upgraded. A good place to farm this is during Pierce's questline, where at one point you will have to face a wave of 101 Genki mascots while a "Virus Injection" is taking place. These mascots can be killed with a single Stomp, making this an ideal place to work towards this trophy.

[top]
Here! Catch!
Kill 100 Aliens with the Telekinesis Super Power.

The Telekinesis Super Power is unlocked after finishing the "Power Up CID" mission. This power allows you to throw enemies and objects with your mind. Just kill 100 Aliens, either by throwing them or throwing objects at them, and this trophy is yours. It's quite easy and you'll most likely get it through normal gameplay. If not, then it's easy to grind out.

[top]
Bringin' the Heat
Kill 100 Aliens using the Fire Buff Super Power.

The Fire Buff Super Power is unlocked after finishing the "A Game of Clones" Mission. This power will allow you to set both your bullets from your regular guns and yourself on fire for a brief time. Simply kill 100 aliens with this Power through guns or standing close to an enemy and the trophy is yours. It's very important it's the fire element as any other element won't work.

[top]
Fist Meet Ground
Kill 100 Aliens with the Death From Above Super Power.

The Death from Above power will become available after the "Welcome Back" mission. To activate it, jump as high as you can, use L1 to aim the crosshairs and R1 to activate the power. It will take time to grind and is not an easy power to master, but keep at it and you will get this trophy in time.

[top]
Experimental Tech
Kill 25 Aliens with each: Dubstep, InflatoRay, Bounce Gun, Disintegrator, Abduction, and Black Hole.

See the Challenges section below for how to use each gun. This trophy will take some time and grinding, so keep at it to attain this trophy. The Black Hole Launcher will unlock rather late in the game. Try to get each 25 kill (and maybe the challenges too) as soon as the gun becomes available.

[top]
Maximum Stopping Power
Upgrade one weapon to the max.

Any weapon upgraded to maximum in ALL categories will get this trophy, but normal guns are cheaper than alien guns. I personally recommend the SMG's because they can be dual wielded through an upgrade from the upgrade screen and can be upgraded with powerful acid ammo, which can make gunfights much easier.

[top]
Where's My Cape?
Purchase all Super Power upgrades.

This trophy will be unlocked after all upgrades are bought (upgrades as challenge rewards are not required for this trophy). You upgrade by collecting clusters and using them in the "Powers" menu in the main menu. You will not be able to buy all of the upgrades until after the "All Hands on Deck" mission. You need a total of 1035 clusters to be able to buy them all, which is not every cluster (although you need them all for the platinum trophy).

[top]
I Am Become Death
Kill 1000 Aliens with any combination of Super Powers.

This trophy is as easy as it sounds, yet also as time-consuming as it sounds. The best way to earn this trophy is to use Powers early and often, mixing them up to clear various Challenges along the way. For this trophy though you need to use two powers at once to kill an enemy. The quickest combination I've found is to use Freeze blast on enemies and then perform a Rock Stomp to break them. You can use the "Hard" Fight Club activity, get to the second wave, and instead of capturing the point just keep killing guys. You do need enough time to win at least bronze in the activity or the count will reset.

[top]
The Challenge King
Complete ALL of the Challenges.

There are 65 Challenges in Saints Row IV, and they are tougher than the ones in Saints Row The Third. They are still pretty doable, but they require a lot of time used on unideal tasks. For a complete list and guide for every challenge, refer to the "Challenges" section of this guide.

[top]
The Whole Story
Find ALL Audio Logs.

There are 39 Audio Logs scattered throughout Simulated Steelport, telling the backstory through the words of both the Saints and their enemies. The Collectible Finder will show them, but you will not be able to get all of them until after the "Hello Teacup" mission. Check the "Collectibles" section for more information.

[top]
Better This Way
Customize the style of all the weapons on your radial.

Once you have hacked entry into Friendly Fire (which is done during Learn the Rules), you can customize the look of your weapons under the Buy/Upgrade Weapons section. For this trophy to unlock, you need to have a weapon in all 7 weapon slots in your radial, then customize the look of each one.

[top]
Back in the Day
Spend 2 hours outside of missions with past Saints Row characters as your homies

For this trophy, you have to call a Homie with your phone in the HUB screen. The homie has to be an ally from a previous Saints Row game (ex. Kinzie, Shaundi, Pierce, Johnny Gat) and the 2 hours must be outside of a mission. This trophy can be gotten out of the way as early as after "The Real World", since you'll have access to backup from Kinzie right after that mission.
You can either let your game run while doing something else for 2 hours or just explore the Simulation and grind toward various challenges; the choice is yours. Just remember not to activate any missions as the time spent inside missions will not count toward this trophy.

[top]
Switch Hitter
Play for at least 2 hours as a male character AND 2 hours as a female character.

There are 2 ways to go about earning this trophy. The first way is to play as one gender the entire game and then starting over as the opposite gender. playing for 2 hours. The other, and more efficient, way is to go to Image As Designed once you have hacked entry into one of their locations to change your gender mid-game for only 500 Cache, provided you have played at least 2 hours already, then play for two hours as the opposite gender to earn this trophy.

[top]
First of Many
Buy your first Upgrade from the Upgrade Store.

You will earn the right to purchase upgrades after the "Learn the Rules" mission. Just buy any upgrade that you can afford and this trophy is yours. There are plenty to choose from and this upgrade shouldn't be your last.

[top]
Zoo Keeper
Kill 25 Wardens.

Wardens appear when your wanted level is at maximum (Level 6) and during certain missions. You will need to use Powers to break their shield, then shoot them until you get a QTE event to defeat them. Wardens are easily killed with a combination of the Arch-lightning Buff and Bounce Rifle. Kill 25 of these aliens and this trophy is yours, you need 30 for a challenge, though, so keep at it untill you reach that.

[top]
You Chose... Poorly
Surrender when given the chance.

In the story mission "Matt's Back!" Zinyak is going to give you a choice between going through a red door or a blue door. Going through the blue door will progress the game, and going through the red door will end the game and make the credits roll and give you a "Mission failed" status. To get this trophy you need to go through the red door. If you go through the blue door the game will autosave and you will have missed your chance on getting this trophy.

[top]
Ooo A Piece of Candy
Find 100 Data Clusters.

See A Real Cluster.

[top]
A Real Cluster
Find 100% of all Data Clusters.

There is a whopping 1,255 Data Clusters in Simulated Steelport, and some must be retrieved using Super Powers. You will need to Blast clusters stuck in walls, Stomp clusters out of the ground and use Telekinesis on clusters trapped in floating balls. Once you get the Collectible Finder, you can see where every cluster is on your map.

[top]
Elementary
Choose a new element for all of your superpowers.

This trophy requires you to have an alternate element for all of your Super Powers (ex. Shrink for Stomp). You will get these extra elements by doing side missions for various homies. After you have an alternate element for Blast, Telekinesis, Stomp and Buff, just change each of them in your HUD screen under Powers to acquire this trophy.

[top]
Epic Jump Quest
Jump from the roof of 3 Count to the Nuke Plant, without touching the ground or other rooftops.

There is more than one way to get this trophy. One popular method involves gliding to a tall building, running up the side without touching the roof, jumping and repeating the process until you reach the Nuke Plant.

Another method, and a more efficient one, has been found by our own Kratos:

An easy way to do this is :

Make sure you have a VTOL in your "garage" (helicopter might do the same trick, I used "The screaming Eagle")

- Climb ontop og the 2 Count casino (I jumped from the pipe above the boulding, but I'm not sure that has anyting to say)
- Start your jump and start to glide.
- As soon as you are airborne press .
-Selecy the "phone" menu and use the vehicle deliverence option.
- Choose a VOTL (or helicopter).
-Enjoy your flight towards the nuclear plant.
- When you arrive, hover above the roof and press to exit the aricraft.
- Make sure you land on the roof (I landed next to the broken pipe in the midle)
- Since you have jumped out of the roff of 3 Counts and not touched the ground and rooftops, Ding, trophy.

This works, I did it myself just now...

Fourth and Forty
Spend over 40 hours in the Simulation.

Even with all the Homies' Side and Loyalty Missions, Saints Row IV can be completed in less than 35 hours used in the simulation, making this likely your last trophy. In other words, leave the game on while sleeping or at work to get the remaining hours required for this trophy. Remember all the time used outside of the simulation does not count towards the trophy, making the total plat. time around 45-50 hours. You can in the XMB menu on your PS3, under Settings, and then under Power Save Settings turn off the Controller Auto-off, meaning the controller will always be on. You can then plug the controller into the PS3 (so it doesn't run out of battery), enter the Steelport Simulation

Blazin' Gold Medals

Description: Get gold medals on all 9 Blazin' activities.

How to: Blazin' is an activity where you need to run fast from checkpoint to checkpoint. Collect the green parts to speed up, and avoid the firewalls or you'll get a time penalty. These are generally quite easy. The only tricky part they portray is the jumps. You get very little time to prepare a super-jump, but even if you mess up it's easy to quickly get back on track.

Genki's M.O.M. Gold Medals

Description: Get gold medals on all 3 Genki's M.O.M. activities.

How to: Probably the second-hardest activity. Here you need to use TK to pick up objects and throw them through hoops. People go through green rings, vehicles through blue rings, and masks through pink rings. The "easy" and "normal" activities are very manageable, but the "hard" activity is actually pretty tough. It requires you to do 6 rounds in a skimpy timeframe. It's practice and luck on this one, since there are no upgrades that could help you. If you remember the locations of the rings it should be easier and faster.

How to: In Insurance Fraud you need to throw yourself at cars. A money counter will increase, which is the amount of insurance money you get. The best way to do these is going long distances and hit as many different cars as possible. The time you get is very forgiving though, and it should not prove you massive problems.

On-Foot Mayhem Gold Medals

Description: Get gold medals on all 7 Mayhem activities centered on handheld weapons.

How to: Mayhem activities is about destroying stuff. You need to destroy for a set amount of replacement cost. The Mayhem activities that is on-foot, usually uses a lot of guns. There is one for the Black Hole Launcher, one for TK, one for the Alien RPG, and etc. They can be a bit tough and a bit luck-based, but the overall hint is to not just fire away blindly, but try to go for the areas which has the most concentrated amount of vehicles, people, and items.

Super-Powered Fight Club Gold Medals

Description: Get gold medals on all 3 Super-Powered Fight Club activities.

How to: These are the hardest activities. Before messing with the medium and hard version of the activity I would suggest to go and find all of the clusters and get all of the upgrades you can. It seriously help. You're in an arena and you need to defeat 3-5 waves of baddies (the last wave being a boss fight) using only your superpowers in a certain time limit. Suggested powers: Arch-lightning buff, Freeze Blast, and Rock Stomp. You can use Death From Above, but you're not able to get high enough for a nuke. The bosses can be annoying. I found the Freeze Blast, followed by melee attack while having Arch-lightening buff to be quite effective.

How to: Mayhem activities is about destroying stuff. You need to destroy for a set amount of replacement cost. How to: Here you need to go through a platforming course within a time limit while getting a certain amount of points. You need to aim for the middle of the platforms for a "Bullseye" bonus. It's very easy to get the required points before reaching the end, so if you have that, just sprint to the end. They're generally very easy.

How to: Another relatively easy activity. You need to speed through a tube, gathering charge material to destroy walls. Remember to spare a bit of charge to unexpected walls. Breaking walls is the best way to earn points. The amount of points needed before reaching the end is pretty forgiving.
Rewards

TK Rift Gold Medals

Description: Get gold medals on both TK Rift activities.

How to: I'm not sure if it's even possible to get through these challenges without getting a gold medal. Here you need to throw red balls in red holes, and yellow balls in yellow holes. The holes keep changing colour, so have a bit of foresight when throwing. Keep the combo-meter up to earn more points, but it's a pretty easy activity to get the hang on and complete.
Rewards

  • XP: 500
  • Special: Telekinesis - Power Up 2

Fire Element Ignitions

Description: Kill 10 Aliens with fire powers.

How to: Pretty easy. The fire power comes with the Blast and the Buff. You just need to kill 10 aliens with it, which is quite easy and quick.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Freeze Shatters

Description: Shatter 100 frozen aliens.

How to: Freeze is the very first element you get, and maybe also the most effective. It's for the Blast and the Buff. You freeze enemies with it, and then you can use any other powers or any weapon to destroy the frozen enemies easily. This may be gotten through normal play, but if not, it's easy to grind out.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Gravity Float Kills

Description: Kill 10 enemies while they're suspended in the air with the gravity float.

How to: The Gravity element unlocks for the Stomp. When used the enemies are heaved into the air by bubbles. Here you can easily access them and shoot them. It's only 10 so it should be quickly over with.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Ground Stomp Stuns

How to: The stomp in itself only directly kills with the Rock element, which is the one the stomp comes with. If you frequent the stomp, it will come through normal play. It's not a tough grind, however.

How to: The Life Suck element is unlocked for TK. You pick them up and the life from them will automatically transfer to you. You know they're dead when a kill combo meter appears/increases. It's easy to do with 10 enemies.

Shrunken Enemies Squished

Description: Squish 10 shrunken enemies.

How to: The Shrink element unlocks with the Stomp. Use it to shrink enemies and then walk over them to squish them. Do this 10 times. It's quick and easy, although it really only works on normal Zin's. The robots are not affected.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Bounce Rifle Kills

Description: Kill 250 aliens with Bounce Rifle.

How to: The Bounce Rifle unlocks about a 1/3 into the main story. It's a very powerful weapon when upgraded and I recommend using it often. It needs to recharge and cool down, but the projectiles bounce of enemies and hit other enemies. 250 is a relatively large number, which can be grinded relatively fast. Upgrading it makes it faster.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Dubstep Gun Kills

Description: Kill 250 aliens with the Dubstep Gun.

How to: The Dubstep gun is pretty fun. It fires music waves in form of Dubstep and it can be quite good when a big crowd of lesser enemies appear. Go for the small enemies and generally try to upgrade it a bit.

Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Targets Abducted

Description: Kill 150 Abduction Gun.

How to: This gun makes a light beam appear from the sky and suck up all enemies in its area. It can only shoot once without having to recharge, and it takes a bit of time. Upgrades don't do that much. Go for crowded areas, and don't go for tanks or airships.150 is actually quite a bit for this, so you'll probably have to grind it out.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Targets Blackholed

Description: Kill 250 aliens with the Black Hole Launcher.

How to: It shoot black holes that suck in enemies! What more do you need? Racking up 250 kills with this beauty is very easy and quick. Just fire in the center of a crowd and there they go. Those big robots with the weak spot on the back of their head are somehow immune to this gun.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Enemies Disintegrated

Description: Kill 100 enemies with the Disintegrator.

How to: This gun, funnily enough, disintegrates the things it shoots at. It doesn't need to have the disintegrate affect though, some enemies just explode using it, but they still count. It doesn't work against bigger vehicles though. 100 kills is very manageable with this simple gun.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Inflato-Ray Kills

Description: Kill 50 aliens with the Inflato-Ray.

How to: 50 kills with this gun is a bit of a pain. It's only the aliens themselves that is affected by this gun. They get a big head, sure, but you need to target them enough for them to explode. There is a very limited use for this gun, but try to grind it out. You may want to keep the notoriety down to a 2-3 bar filled, so there doesn't appear a lot of robots.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Mech Suit Kills

Description: Kill 250 aliens with the mech suit.

How to: You get around 150 kills in the main story line. The Mech Suit is accessed through the phone after the game has been completed. You can only be in it a limited (though rather long) period of time. In that time though, you can kick some major butt, since it tears through aliens like no tomorrow. After the time is up, you need to wait a little to be able to use it again. You can grind something else in the mean time.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Tentacle Bat Beatdowns

Description: Kill 30 aliens with the tentacle bat.

How to: The tentacle bat is unlocked almost from the get-go. It's a melee weapon and can kill normal aliens in one hit. 30 aliens is not a lot, so there really shouldn't be a problem with this.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Destroy Alien Vehicles

Description: Destroy 100 alien vehicles.
How to: There are a total of 4 different vehicle type. A car, a hoverbike, an airship, and a tank. There will definitely be enough of these through out main- and sidequests.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Destroy C.I.D.s

Description: Destroy 100 C.I.D.s

How to: There are two different C.I.D.s. The regular ones that provides shields to other aliens, and then there are the golden ones, which are a fast and completely wipes your notoriety. You may want to grind this after game. It's easiest to go for the regular ones. They are very weak fortunately.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Destroy Murderbots

Description: Destroy 60 Murderbots.
How to: Murderbots are the Terminator-esque robots. They are quite tough using standard guns, but easy killed by the Abduction Gun and Black Hole Launcher. They first appear when you have a notoriety
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Destroy Portals

Description: Destroy 30 portals.
How to: Portals are the round voids that sends out enemies. They can take a beating but does get destroyed eventually. You'll encounter way more than 30 through side and main quests.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Kill Aliens

Description: Kill 1000 Aliens.
How to: Aliens are the basic enemy, and you will definitely meet more than 1000 of these in the main missions alone. Do not worry about this.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Kill Wardens

Description: Kill 30 Wardens.
How to: Wardens come out when your notoriety meter fills up all six bars. They are protected by shields and it requires you to use superpowers on them to take down the shield, and then attack them. The shield comes back on again, after a little time, making it annoying. The quickest way I've found to kill Wardens is to fully upgrade your Bounce Rifle, and then shoot at them with the Buff super power turned on. I suggest grinding for this (and you most likely will need to grind) after the game, since you will bump into around 20 of them through the main- and sidequests.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Alien High Notoriety Time

Description: Be in high notoriety for 20 minutes in total.
How to: When you cause ruckus in simulated steelport, the notoriety meter around the gun HUD gets filled up. High notoriety is four bars full or more. Hold it there for 20 minutes (cumulative, you don't have to do it at once). Keep it from filling up all bars because that will send in the Warden. You can also just choose to not fight the Warden, but the notoriety meter automatically goes to zero if you kill a Warden or Golden C.I.D.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Aliens Taunted

Description: Taunt 50 aliens.
How to: You taunt aliens by getting close to them, have your crosshair on them and then pressing and holding . The controls on this are a bit finicky and cause some distress. You know you've done it correctly when a "Taunt" combo meter appears/increases. Just keep at it. It works with every ground enemy, but the ones in spaceships can not be taunted.

Audio Logs

Description: Find all 39 audio logs.
How to: Audio logs looks like an audio wave on a blue screen. You collect them by running into them. For more information, see the collectible guide.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500
  • XP: 500

Distance Travelled in Alien Vehicle

Description: Traverse 762 kilometers in any Alien Vehicle (cumulative).
How to: You will most likely have to grind for this one. Vehicles have become kind of obsolete with your sprinting powers. You can try to get some mileage through regular play, but you're probably left short even by then. My advice for grinding is to find a rubber band from the kitchen, get an alien ship (the Void is a good choice), fly up to the red ceiling barrier, use the rubber band to hold the left analog stick pointing either right or left, and then make the alien ship fly in circles while pointing a bit up. Let the alien ship fly in circles, while you do something else. Depending on how much you've used the alien vehicles beforehand it can take a few hours, so you might as well grind for "Back in the Day " and "Switch Hitter " at the same time.
Rewards
  • Cache: 1500

Distance Travelled in Mech Suit

Description: Traverse 4 miles in the Mech Suit.
How to: The Mech Suit is the big robot armor you fight in, in some story missions. You would already have traveled 3-4 miles in it, before unlocking it after the main game. After the main game you can access it from the phone.
Rewards

Text Adventure Collected

Description: Collect all 8 fragments of the Text Adventure.
How to: There are 8 old-timey computers with green screens spread around fake steelport. Collect them all. Check the collectible guide for more information.

Time Spent With Homies

Description: Spend 2 hours with homies.
How to: You spend time with homies by pressing , choose "Phone" and then call up somebody. They will either response that they will come or they will not come. If you're alone outside of a mission, they will mostly come. You can up to three Homies with you at a time. When at least one Homies is there just faff about for 2 hours. Though try to go for: "Back in the Day " at the same time.

Clusters

Description: These clusters are everywhere. There is a total of 1225 of them, so you better get going. There are a total of 4 different clusters. The normal one which grants you one cluster, which can be obtained by just running through them. There is the hidden clusters which you need to use your Blast super-power on small forcefields on the side of a building or pipe, to make them appear. These give you 3 clusters. There are the buried clusters, where you need to use the Stomp super-power on lit up crack in the ground. These also give you 3 clusters. Lastly there is the incased clusters. These are inside a glass ball. Use TK to pick up the ball and throw it against something to break it and release the clusters inside. These are also worth 3 clusters.

Amount:
As said there are 1225 clusters in the Steelport simulation.

Usable for:
This is the "currency" used to upgrade your super-powers, so I recommend getting these as you see them (also so you can reduce the grind later on).

Audio Logs

Description: They look like audio waves on a blue screen. You pick them up by walking into them. They give some insight on some of the back story and thoughts behind some of the characters in the game.

Amount:
There is a total of 39.

Usable for:
Other than giving back story, they're only used to complete a challenge and get more cache and XP.

Zinyak Statues

Description: These are statues of Zinyak. They can be destroyed by shooting them. They're not very big and are hidden pretty well.

Amount:
There are 36 in total.

Usable for:
Only to complete a challenge and get more cache and XP.

Text Adventure Fragments

Description: These are old DOS computers with a green screen, which are hidden in the Steelport simulation. They are fragments of a Text Adventure you can play.

Amount:
There are only 8.

Usable for:
It gives a text adventure game you can play on a computer on the lower parts of the spaceship. Other than that you complete a challenge and you earn some more cache and XP.

Rather than compiling a huge list of all the collectibles here it is much easier to complete the main mission: "Matt's Back" and then do the very first sidequest for Matt, which is called: "The Pledge". After that you get a collectible finder.

To access this press and then choose map. Press thrice to get to the new collectibles section, where you can see all the collectibles (clusters, statues, text adventure fragments, and audio logs). If you press here too, it will transfer to the mini-map as well. You can't see anything else on the map and mini-map while having collectibles selected.

So just follow the instructions of the map. Also remember that in the map menu you can press to set a waypoint that will make the mini-map point you in the right direction.
