Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Sonic the Hedgehog and was followed by Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in 1994. The game introduces Tails as a new playable character.The story follows Sonic the Hedgehog and his new partner, Miles "Tails" Prower (in later games simply referred to as "Tails"), on their mission to stop the evil Dr. Robotnik from stealing the Chaos Emeralds to power the Death Egg. Sonic and Tails must defeat Robotnik's army and free their friends.

1. Have a ring with you at ALL Times. If you get hit you lose all your rings. Having one will save you from dying.

2. Memorize the stages so you know where the enemies are and where the bonuses are. This makes it easier to get past the level and will help with the speedruns.

3. Use and to turn Sonic into a ball and make him spin. this is a good way (for me at least) to build up speed and saving you precious seconds during your whole game speedrun.

4. ABUSE THE SAVE SYSTEM!! Like the other games, you can save anywhere so while you are playing the "story" and going for the Conquering Time . Use it when you are progressing during the story. By doing this you can save before the difficult parts of the game so that if you get stuck, you can go back to the same part. This helps you save time so that it makes beating the game under an hour a breeze.

Complete the trophy list in this order:

Step 1: Play the MP and get those 2 trophies out of the way

Step 2: Play the SP and get the 3 trophies

Step 3: Go for the and 2 that are for speed runs

Step 4: Go for the and that's related to chaos emeralds

Step 5: Collect about 50-60 rings to go and get the 2 Super Sonic trophies

Step 6: 100% and then delete this crappy game off your PS3

Simple. Clear the first part of the Emerald Hill Zone Level. This will be your first trophy if you play the story first. should not take you longer than 1:00 to 1:15

Ok this is another easy trophy that might take a couple of tries to get. Just go To The Emerald Hill Zone and complete it under 35 seconds.

Building Up Speed - Before the stage starts hold and tap to be in a ball and build up speed. then just use the tip above and complete the stage

This trophy is a bit tricky. For this you have to beat the first part of the Chemical Plant Zone under 45 seconds. May take a few tries but not too difficult.

To get this trophy you must have Sonic remain Super Sonic for 1 minute. To even get to sonic you have to collect all the 7 chaos emeralds and a minumum of 50 rings in order to activate the power. For getting all the emeralds look below at the video. After getting all the emeralds collect a minimum of 60 rings because 1 ring = 1 second of Super Sonic. Once you have 60 rings Press to jump and press again to activate the power. Then wait for a minute and the trophy will pop. You will also get the Super Sonic at the same time.

As the trophy simply states, beat the game under an hour. refer to Tips and Tricks Above.

Simple. Play all 4 of the multiplayer zones in the game once. This cant be done locally so either play with random people or grab one of your friends or boosting partner.

Simple. Win 10 multiplayer zone matches. Like stated above this cant be done locally so you either play with randoms or have a boosting partner just keep winning and the trophy should soon pop. I recommend that you play the Emerald Hill Zone because its the shortest one.

Heres A MP tip from commonfate:

go to the first stage have the person who is going to win get a single ring or not, doesn't matter. If one person loses all his/her lives then there is a forced game over and the victory automatically goes to the person left alive. Turns out that counts for the 10 wins!
