[top]Introduction

TV Superstars is a Playstation Move game where the player assumes the role of an aspiring TV game show celebrity. Players create their own avatars with the help of the Playstation Eye camera and set out on the road to fame by competing in wacky game shows and starring in television commercials. The game uses the Playstation Move controller to imitate activities as varied as running, painting, cooking, modeling and so on, showcasing the Move's aptitude for both subtle and rapid gestures.

[top]Tips and Strategies

Get a second Move motion controller before starting this game, as cooperative play cannot start without two Move motion controllers active and calibrated.
Make sure you have turned on the Eye's voice recognition capabilities in your system settings. You will need to record your voice when you create your avatar and at other points in the game.
Practice makes perfect, so keep playing each game until the controls become second nature. As you get better, focus on doing activities faster so you can get time bonuses on certain shows.
Relax and have fun with this game; it's meant to be wacky and silly.

[top]Roadmap

1. Create eight avatars using the Playstation Eye and following the on-screen instructions.
2. Play on five consecutive days, or advance your PS3 calendar after each play session to fool the game into thinking you've played on five consecutive days. The choice is yours. Either way, make sure to play with the same two avatars on a single team for two "days" straight.
3. Play each game to score points and start making your way up the TV Superstars Magazine Fame List. As you go from Wannabe to Z-List, C-List, B-List and eventually A-List and Ultimate TV Superstar, you'll unlock new shows, new episodes and new commercials to star in. You can replay a show or commercial as many times as you like and only the highest scores are saved and added to your Fame score.
4. Now that everything is unlocked, go back to cooperative mode to complete all the trophies that require playing as a team.
5. Clean up the grinding and any other unlocked trophies.

[top]Trophies

[top]
True TV Superstar!
All trophies collected

Like it says, collect the other 50 Trophies to add this Platinum Trophy to your collection.

[top]
Ultimate TV Superstar!
Top of the A-List

You actually need to have at least 86,000 Fame Points to unlock this trophy. Also, this trophy will not unlock until you check your rank in TV Superstars Magazine, which can be accessed from the main menu screen.

[top]
A is for Amazing!
A-list reached

You'll need 56,000 Fame Points to become an A-Lister. This will unlock after you check your rank in TV Superstars Magazine form the main menu.

[top]
Fame Fantastico!
Every show completed three times

You need to play Frockstar (any episode), Let's Get Physical, Big Beat Kitchen (any episode), DIY RAW (any episode) and Let's Get Physical: Reloaded three times each with the same avatar to unlock this trophy. Keep in mind that you will need 22,000 Fame Points to unlock Let's Get Physical: Reloaded.

[top]
B is for Big Shot
B-list reached

You'll need 30,000 Fame Points to get B-List status. The trophy will unlock after checking your rank in TV Superstars Magazine from the main menu.

[top]
In Your Faces!
One team beats another team twice in a row

The same two avatars must beat the same two other avatars in the same show twice in a row for this to unlock. Simply start the same show over after winning the first time, then do it again.

[top]
Let's Get Physical: Physically Fit!
Great score for Wheel Heroes and Airheads

You'll need 2,000 points on Wheel Heroes and 3,000 points on Airheads to earn this. Fortunately, this can be done on seperate shows.

[top]
LGP Reloaded: Paintball Power!
10 paintings scored at 80% or higher

After a session of Paint By Blunders, if host Spike Powers compliments you on good shooting you should have at least 80% accuracy for that painting. Keep doing this until you have done 10 using the same avatar and the trophy is yours.

[top]
Frockstar: Simply Stunning!
Great scores for all three locations

You will need at least 4,000 points each in Paris, New York and Tokyo to unlock this trophy. It helps if you have the correct outfit and makeup on, since it gives a bonus to the catwalk portion of the show; however, a lousy walk or vogue can make you lose that bonus. Therefore, it's important to practice the on-screen gestures to get their speed and timing down properly.

[top]
Big Beat Kitchen: Super Chef!
Great scores for all four recipes

You will need both 4,000 points and a completed recipe on each episode to get this trophy. That means you must succeessfully cook at least one pancake, an entire fajita, the curry and/or rice and the meatballs and/or pasta. If Big Chilli D says you rule the coop while you sit on his throne after your cooking is done, you should be good.

[top]
DIY RAW: DIY Dynamo!
Great scores for all four apartments

You will need to score 7,000 points or higher on each apartment for this trophy to unlock. To complicate matters, the apartment you are redoing is selected at random, so there is no way to know which one you will get until you start.
To score 7,000 points on an apartment, you will have to do everything almost perfectly. This is the toughest show to get trophies from due to the variety of activities and the unusually high point threshold required to unlock these trophies. Be paitent and keep practicing both your accuracy and speed and you will get this.

[top]
STAA: Publicity Machine!
Great scores for all commercials

You will need to score 7,500 points or higher on all eight commercials to unlock this trophy. This can be tough for some of the later commercials (the ones that unlock after reaching the B-List and A-List), but will come with practice.

[top]
Trio
Three single players complete one show against each other

Put three of your avatars on seperate couches on the main menu screen, then start any show except the STAA commercials. This trophy will unlock at the show's conclusion.

[top]
Quartet
Four single players complete one show against each other

Put four of your avatars on seperate couches on the main menu screen, then start any show except the STAA commercials. This trophy will unlock at the show's conclusion.

[top]
Outnumbered!
One team completes a show against one player

For this trophy, calibrate a second motion controller, put two of your avatars on one couch on the main menu screen and one avatar on another, then start any show except the STAA commercials. This trophy will unlock at the show's conclusion.

[top]
Dream Team!
A team completes every show twice

You must play two shows each of Frockstar (any episode), Let's Get Physical, Big Beat Kitchen (any episode), DIY RAW (any episode), and Let's Get Physical: Reloaded using the same two avatars to earn this trophy. You'll need to have two motion controllers calibrated for each session and at least one of the avatars you are using must have unlocked Let's Get Physical: Reloaded, which requires 22,000 Fame Points to unlock.

Competition
Two single players complete one show against each other

Put two avatars on seperate couches on the main menu screen, then start any show except the STAA commercials. The trophy will unlock at the show's conclusion.

[top]
Two By Two
Two teams complete one show against each other

Calibrate a second motion controller, put two avatars on one couch and two on another on the main menu screen, then start any show except the STAA commercials. The trophy will unlock at the show's conclusion.

[top]
Team Players!
A team completes one show

This will be unlocked after the first show done in cooperative play. Remember, you will need to have two motion controllers active and calibrated for any and all "team" trophies in this game.

[top]
Perfect Partners!
A team plays on two consecutive days

Either have the same two avatars play for two days straight or advance your PS3 calendar one day after doing a team show, then doing a team show using the same people again. This trophy should pop up either way.

[top]
Let's Get Physical: Airhead Ace!
30 perfect Airheads windows

A perfect Airheads window means to match the target shape with 100% accuracy. You will need to twist the Move contoller around, sometimes using the T button to tuck in, to line up your body perfectly. This will take both time and practice and the 30 perfects must be done with the same avatar.

[top]
Let's Get Physical: Wheely Good!
Great score for Wheel Heroes

You will need at least 2,000 points in the Wheel Heroes half of Let's Get Physical to earn this. If you can keep a good speed up (shake the Move as hard as you can) and avoid the robot hands until the end, you should get this.

[top]
LGP Reloaded: Celebrity Hotshot!
50 Starstruck targets hit in one game

Keep hitting the celebrities for three full rounds without hitting yourself. You'll hear your catchphrase when your avatar shows up, so avoid hitting him or her or the round ends. If you can avoid hitting your own avatar and keep shooting the celebrity hosts, this trophy should show up at the end of the show.

[top]
LGP Reloaded: Quite the Artist!
A painting scored at 90% or higher

This trophy requires you to shoot the right colors at the right sections of the painting almost perfectly. Since your paintball colors are randomly selected at set intervals, do your best to get it right the first time. Avoid the flying men at all costs as shooting them releases their paint, usually in the wrong areas. Unfortunately, there's no way to tell if you got 90%, except for the trophy popping up at the show's conclusion.

In each of the three "tour" episodes you will need to get the proper outfit and makeup on quickly (60 seconds or less, depending on the episode). If you get either one right and qualify for a fashion and/or makeup bonus, the trophy for that episode will unlock at the show's conclusion.

[top]
Big Beat Kitchen: Rapalicious!
Great score for rapping

In each of the Big Beat Kitchen episodes, you will do two short rap verses with host Big Chilli D. Simply rap in time to the beat using the Playstation Eye's voice recognition capabilities and match the on-screen gestures with the Move motion controller. The trophy should unlock if you earned at least a silver medal on your performance.

Gold medals are earned for outstanding jobs done in the various cooking and rapping skills that you will do in Big Beat Kitchen. The pancake and fajita episodes offer more opportunities for gold medals than the curry and meatballs episodes (About 8 for the first two and 4 for the last two). You should get these trophies with enough time, skill and paitence.

S.T.A.A: Oh No You Don't!
A character fails to take a commercial's top score

You must finish filming the commercial without being thrown off the set, but at the same time, fail to beat the preset high score to earn the commercial contract. It's easier than it sounds, however, as you will most likely earn this on a later commercial that you barely finished the first time. For those who want to get this trophy out of the way, simply do just enough to not put the "cut-o-meter" in the red; your lack of a score multiplier should take care of the rest.

[top]
S.T.A.A: Fight for the Top!
A commercial's top score has been beaten by another character

To unlock this trophy, you must beat the game's preset high score to win a commercial contract. To do this, match the on-screen gestures, motions and pressing of the T button on the Move with the correct speed and timing to earn points and build your multiplier (up to 4x). Record your line when prompted and finish the commercial with a new high score to get the contract and this trophy.

[top]

[top]
Hotshot!
TV Superstars has been played for three hours

You need to have played the shows and commercials that make up this game for three hours, all with the same avatar, to get this. This should come naturally through normal play.

[top]
Eight's Great!
Eight new avatars created

You will be asked to create a new avatar when you first play TV Superstars. First, take the pictures of your face with the Playstation Eye when prompted to, then coustomize your avatar's look with the various options and record your catchphrase with the Playstation Eye. Repeat the process until eight avatars have been created and this trophy is yours.

[top]
C is for Celebrity
C-List reached

You will need an avatar to get 14,500 Fame Points to earn C-List status. After it is reached, check your rank in TV Superstars magazine from the main menu and this trophy will unlock.

[top]
Getting Started in the Fame Game
Z-list reached

You need only 5 Fame Points to go from Wannabe to Z-List, making this impossible to miss on your first show. Just play any show, but the trophy will not unlock until you check your rank in TV Superstars Magazine from the main menu.

[top]
Five Days of Fame
TV Superstars played for five consecutive days

Either play for five consecutive days or advance your PS3 internal calendar a day after each play session until you've "fooled" the game into thinking as such. The choice is yours.

[top]
Team Tremendous!
A team plays for five hours

For this trophy, the same two avatars must play together for a total of five hours. This can be a tough grind, either with help or by yourself, since most shows take five minutes or less to complete. Fortunately. time spent on the score results screen at the end of each show (meaning when your score pops up, not your Fame meter) counts toward the five hours, so do a show, get to the results screen and do something else, leaving your game on that screen, for as long as your Move controllers' charge will allow you. Repeat the process until the trophy is yours.
