The Violet Beauregard Memorial Trophy
Tried every piece of gum. MISSABLE TROPHY!
Once you find yourself locked in the RIGHT jail cell, sample both the "Entirely Flavorless Gum Stalagtite" and the "Wads of Chewed Gum". There are eight different "Wads" flavors:
- Bile and squid ink.
- Cat litter.
- Chocolate and pickle.
- One with a tooth in it.
- Rotten clam.
- Sour milk.
- Turkey and mashed potatoes.
After trying the nine different types above, continue along with the plot until you try the *actual* Spirit Gum. Once you sample it (using the Root Beer), the trophy will unlock.
Discovered Morgan's Dying Words.
Once you convince Morgan that death is worth living by helping her overcome her depression (but BEFORE you get her help), talk to her and use the following conversation prompt:
"Are you sure it wasn't De Singe who killed you?"
Grog, Grog, Grog!
Used a dollar bill to try to buy every drink in the Grog Machine.
You don't need a dollar or a dream for this trophy. Right after you dig your way out of your own grave, you'll be in front of the Grog machine. Just push all four different options (Grog, Diet Grog, Cherry Grog, Grog XD) and the trophy unlocks.
Dance, Monkey, Dance!
Did the dance of the hybrid fruit.
This trophy is EXTREMELY missable. In fact, unless you read a guide (such as this one), I can't imagine how you'd ever find this. Anyway...
After (kinda) unsuccessfully placing the items on the Crossroads center, you'll find your ghostly self back at the Crossroads, no worse for the wear. Sail to the Swordfight at the top of the map, then walk through the "Rip".
You'll find yourself back at 'Club 41', albeit as a ghost. To the lower left of the bar, you'll find a barrel on a table labeled "Barrel of Yellowish Liquid". Select it eight times. After the eighth selection, you and your monkey pal will enjoy a little dance, followed by the unlocking of a bronze trophy.
Read every gravestone.
When you first free yourself from your own grave, you'll find yourself in front of the Grog machine. Go back to the left and read all the tombstones - there's a total of nine different ones - and the trophy will unlock.
All Roads Lead to LeChuck
Opened the Crossroads.
Story-related. After you place the items on the Crossroads, you'll be sucked into the oak-paneled-door-looking thing. As the scene closes, the trophy unlocks.
I Ain't Got No Body
Bound Guybrush's spirit to his body.
Story-related. After you sample the Spirit Gum, you'll bind your spirit and body together, and as everyone knows, the holy union of body and spirit comes with a free Silver Trophy.
Does This Corpse Make Me Look Fat?
Completed the Diet of the Senses.
Story-related. After combining the six elements with La Esponja Grande to shrink it down, you'll get a cutscene. At the very beginning of this cutscene, the trophy will unlock.
A Credit to Pirates Everywhere
Witnessed Morgan's Final Fate.
After you beat the game, watch the credits. It's that simple. Really.
Found out what Morgan treasures above all else.
After allowing Morgan to 'defeat' you (which involves some great Monkey Island series throwbacks), she'll be much more upbeat. Before enlisting her help, ask her the following questions:
"When you crossed over, did you have a "Shred of Life" too?"
"What was important to you when you were alive?"
After that, the trophy will unlock.
Fall of the Pirate God
Story-related. This trophy will unlock once you defeat LeChuck and complete the game.
