[top]Introduction

This game has a clear difference to the trophies on Rock Band 2, and these trophies require more than finishing the game. It pretty much raises the bar from its already "almost impossible" standards. It asks you to do more than before with the tasks of full combos on specific songs, or gold stars. But with a bit of training, and my help, you'll get it done.

[top]Accessory Requirements

It is not possible to platinum this game without the following peripherals. Instruments that function with The Beatles: Rock Band will be able to play.
  • The Beatles: Rock Band Retail Game
  • Peripheral Guitar
  • Peripheral Drums
  • Peripheral Microphone(3)

[top]Tips and Strategies

  • When trophies ask you to do a task on specific details, see if it requires any difficulty limits. If it does not ask any, do what you're comfortable with. This can be on "EASY" difficulty, or "EXPERT", it does not matter. But I absolutely recommend doing it on a challenging difficulty. The harder the songs are you play, the better you will become.
  • To achieve "GOLD STAR"status on a song, it must be played on "EXPERT" difficulty. It varies by score and can be easily obtained if you're good enough.
  • VIDEOS: They are used for a visual reference, and they may or may not help you. Regardless, they are put to describe the songs on the default "EXPERT"difficulty, and not all of them show the required definition for the trophy.
  • Super Speed ON! - Always use Super Speed (Breakneck Speed in Rock Band 2) for playing! Go to the Options Menu in the main screen. Look around and check off Super Speed. It makes the track speed much faster. I absolutely suggest this because the notes are more spaced out and easier to read. It will help you a lot.
  • Have a friend! - You will need people to help you. Having at least one friend (online or in real life) will be good. Having a friend, you will be able to unlock trophies much easier. Some trophies do ask you for a group. Look for someone to play with you, or check in The Official Beatles Rock Band Boosting Thread. Career is online compatible and so is quick-play.

[top]Trophies

[top]
The Complete Anthology
Wow! You've gotten all the Trophies in The Beatles: Rock Band!

Unlock all other trophies in the game to earn this platinum trophy.

[top]
A Little Help From My Friends
Start a Story with a four player band.

Go to Story Mode. Play online and hook up with three other rockers. You do not need all four instruments for this trophy. If you do have the four instruments, do either way. The trophy is given to you when the game is directed to the story screen.

[top]
All You Need Is Love
Five-star every song in The Beatles: Rock Band

This trophy is not hard. It's one of the easier trophies in this game. I have confirmed that you can do all the songs in The Beatles: Rock Band on any difficulty. No hesitations, just pick up an instrument and give each song a go. If you do not remember which songs you haven't five-starred, check your Trophies Screen. Another way to do this is in Story Mode. All the songs are there and can be focused on individually while you try to complete the game. Note that you do not have to five-star "The End" or any downloadable content.

[top]
Don't Let Me Down
You saved a bandmate from failing!

Either offline or online, you can get this without realizing. Practically a straightforward trophy. Have enough Beatlemania stored so you can release it, and then wait, or have a friend purposefully fail the song. Unleash Beatlemania however your instrument can and once the song is done, the trophy is unlocked.

[top]
All Together Now
Get a Guitar, Bass and Drum unison bonus on the songs listed on the Trophies screen.

The songs below are what you must do for this trophy. You can get this unknowingly if you actively play online Quickplay. Whether or not you do this, find people online who are intending to do this. It requires the three instruments - bass, guitar, and drums. The songs can be done on any difficulty. Nothing hard here, but some Band Unisons may appear only once or twice in the song, so restarting may be inevitable. A Band Unison is when the notes on the track becomes white for all members of the band, excluding the vocalist. You must play all notes for Band Unisons to work, where the Beatlemania is rewarded doubly.
  • And Your Bird Can Sing
  • Birthday
  • Hello Goodbye
  • Revolution
  • Taxman
  • Yellow Submarine

[top]
In Seconds Flat
Maintain Beatlemania for 60 seconds.

Have at least one other band member with you. Keep Beatlemania on hold until you have a full bar. Let one band member go first, suitably the drums or vocals. Once you go through the first bar, let your second member unleash his/her's before the first one expires. Hopefully you will be able to keep this up until you reach the 60-second mark. It may take several tries to get this, varying on songs.

[top]
Shake It Up, Baby!
Use Beatlemania at least 5 times in a single song using either Bass or Guitar.

When you have Beatlemania ready, activate it instantly. It prevents overlapping of any other series of white notes. Once you get five done, the trophy will be received after finishing the song.

[top]
Eight Days A Week
Get an 8x Band Multiplier.

An 8x Band Multiplier requires the vocalist, drummer, guitarist, and bassist. Let the whole band store up enough energy for Beatlemania. Have the vocalist go first, and then follow with the drummer and finally both the strings. Let the multiplier run almost harmoniously. The trophy will be given when the song is done.

[top]
Like a Million Suns
Score 1,000,000 points in a single song.

Believe it or not, this trophy is difficult to get. Most of The Beatles' songs are about four minutes long with simple scores. A song I suggest is "I Want You (She's So Heavy)". The song is close to eight minutes long. With a full band on "EXPERT", properly use overdrive with one another. If you do this properly and get through the song good enough, you will have at least 1,000,000 points. Note that this may take a few attempts.

[top]
Authenticity
Finish any song as a Bassist with Lefty Mode turned on, hitting at least 50% of the notes.

Take a guitar, play any song on any difficulty. Whether you are a lefty or not doesn't matter, doing this on Bass will not make you fail. If you score at least 50%, I suggest turning on "No Fail" on for best chances.

[top]
How Could I Dance with Another?
Score 100% playing I Saw Her Standing There on Expert Bass.

Simple, well, pretty simple. The notes consists of typical hits moving up and down. No hammer-ons or pull-offs, no worries. But do realize that the rhythm is quite fast among its simplicity. Nothing all too difficult.

[top]
Day Tripper
Start a new Story save file and reach the credits within 24 hours.

The story mode takes only 3-5 hours, depending on how dedicated you are. Do all songs first, and restart if you do not achieve a five-star rating for All You Need is Love. Ignore all Tour Challenges and you will get this, if you decide to take several hours off your schedule. But depending on how competent you are, you may take another task of changing the actual PlayStation 3's internal clock in the Option Menu outside the game itself. Whenever you started your story mode, change the date to that same day and you will be set from starting off or finishing off the mode and have this trophy.

[top]
I GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!
Score 100% notes hit on Helter Skelter playing Expert Drums.

This can be difficult to many. The only part of "Helter Skelter" I would be concerned about are the four rolls across the last half of the song. The rest of the song consists of notes from the crash and the simple polyrhythms in between. Practice any problems you have in this song in "Practice Mode".

[top]
Let's Get Some Levels
Calibrate your system for the optimal experience.

Your first and only effortless trophy. The game automatically asks you when you start the game if you want to calibrate your system. Automatically, manually, or input numbers, choose your style. When you are done, you will receive your bronze.

[top]
Better Free Your Mind Instead
Earn Expert gold stars on the 4 songs listed on the Trophies screen.

The songs that need to be done are the following listed below. Anything that is close to impossible is "I Feel Fine". It requires a close full combo for the gold stars on "EXPERT". Everything else is pretty simple, and Revolution can be excluded to be difficult on guitar. Let a friend help you to make it less stressful.
  • I Feel Fine
  • Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
  • Revolution
  • Twist And Shout

[top]
No One's Frightened of Playing
Earn Expert gold stars on the 4 songs listed on the Trophies screen.

For the trophy, the required songs must be gold-starred below, all on "EXPERT". Any songs worth mentioning of the difficulty are "Taxman" and "I Me Mine". Both the songs require good combos for the stars. Having someone to help can make this much easier in obtaining.
  • I Me Mine
  • Something
  • Taxman
  • While My Guitar Gently Weeps

[top]
And the Band Begins to Play
Earn Expert gold stars on the 4 songs listed on the Trophies screen.

The songs below are entirely easy except one little song. "I Wanna Be Your Man" is indefinitely straining to a drummer. But I would like to disprove it, it's possible to gold star these with a partner on "EXPERT". Be aware that this song asks for a good combos to be done properly.
  • I Wanna Be Your Man
  • Octopus's Garden
  • Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band / With A Little Help From My Friends
  • Yellow Submarine

[top]
Things That Money Just Can't Buy
Earn Expert gold stars on the 4 songs listed on the Trophies screen.

This assortment of songs are much harder among the rest of the challenges, but nothing impossible. One worth looking at is "Helter Skelter". This song asks for close full combos on "EXPERT". Again, having a partner will alleviate the challenge greatly, as long as you are both good.
  • Back In The U.S.S.R.
  • Can't Buy Me Love
  • Get Back
  • Helter Skelter

[top]
Elmore James Got Nothing on This
Get 85% or better on all solos in The Beatles: Rock Band on Expert Guitar.

There are twenty-two songs that have to be completed for this trophy. There are no tricky solos with some exceptions, like on Taxman. Be reminded that there can be more than one guitar solo in a song. You must have at least one solo with 85% or more. The following are shown below:
  • A Hard Day’s Night
  • Back In The U.S.S.R.
  • Boys
  • Can’t Buy Me Love
  • Come Together
  • Day Tripper
  • Dig A Pony
  • Drive My Car
  • Get Back
  • Good Morning Good Morning
  • Helter Skelter
  • Hey Bulldog
  • I Feel Fine
  • I Saw Her Standing There
  • I Wanna Be Your Man
  • I Want You (She’s So Heavy)
  • Octopus’s Garden
  • Revolution
  • Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band / With A Little Help From My Friends
  • Something
  • Taxman
  • While My Guitar Gently Weeps

[top]
Oh Yeah, All Right!
Hit 100% of the notes in the solo of The End on Hard or Expert Guitar.

Put the difficulty on Hard, to prevent any errors on the solo. Shortly after the drum solo, this will be activated. Only a few hammer-ons and pull-offs here and there, but I guarantee that you will get this trophy without any itching. There are several "changes" in the rhythm but nothing to throw you off.

Solo begins at 1:12

[top]
Still My Guitar Gently Weeps
Hit 100% of the notes in either of the solos in While My Guitar Gently Weeps on Expert Guitar.

There are two simple solos in this song. One in the middle, and the second one at the end. They are both incredibly easy and, since this song holds a slow tempo, you can get this done within your first or second try, if you do fail both solos.

Toggle Spoiler

First Solo begins at 2:13
Second Solo begins at 3:54

[top]
What I Got I'll Give to You
Hit 100% of the notes in the solo of Can't Buy Me Love on Hard or Expert Guitar.

Whatever difficulty suits you, the solo in this song is quite easy. The solo is midway with very few hammer-ons and pull-offs. They go very slowly and it can be done on "EXPERT" without much problem.

Toggle Spoiler

Solo begins at 3:54

[top]
Are You Gonna Be in My Dreams?
Hit 100% of the notes in the solo of The End on Expert Drums.

Not entirely hard, but before attempting this, put on Super Speed in the Options Menu. Ringo's first-ever solo consists mostly of the bass pedal. The rest of the notes played are the toms in patterns of two. It is easy to lose combos because of the irregular style, but practice will eventually lead to your next silver.

[top]
Sun, Sun, Sun Here It Comes
Get a 350-note streak playing Here Comes The Sun on Guitar.

This is possible on "MEDIUM", "HARD", and "EXPERT". Honestly, there is no difficulty in this song on any mode, and can easily be full combo. I advise putting on Super Speed in the Options Menu for best results.

Toggle Spoiler

[top]
That's It! You've Got It!
Get a 350-note streak playing Hey Bulldog on Bass.

It is allowed on any difficulty. The song is catchy and easy to follow. There are no hard parts, but some fellows can screw up on the occasional eighth notes (whomever they be).

Toggle Spoiler

[top]
Goo Goo G'joob
Get a 550-note streak playing I Am The Walrus on Drums.

Very simple. "I Am The Walrus" maintains simple beats with very addicting rhythms at the end on "EXPERT". Without much effort, you can go up to 1,000 in note streaks. Play it on any other difficulty if you do have problems, but all in all, this isn't hard. If you try playing this song on "EASY", you will receive just enough for this trophy.

Toggle Spoiler

[top]
Do Right By Me
Get a 350-note streak playing Ticket To Ride on Guitar.

The pattern in this song is played through out with the basis of chords and ties. Nothing much to be concerned of, because this can be done on any difficulty, which has been proven. All you have to do is keep a note streak and get the bronze.

[top]
We Would Be So Happy, You and Me
Play Octopus's Garden on Expert Guitar, playing all hammer-ons and pull-offs without strumming.

You basically need most of the song done. The beginning starts with about ten hammer-ons. It continues with the basic pattern of a strum then several pull-offs, and then another strum followed by more pull-offs. This pattern goes through the song until you reach the solo, which isn't entirely difficult. Once the solo is finished, the pattern finishes off until the song is over. Practice this if you do have difficulties. Practice mode can distort the song and decrease the speed of it entirely.

[top]
Won't You Come Out to Play?
Play Dear Prudence on Expert Guitar, playing all hammer-ons and pull-offs without strumming.

Beautiful song. Quite short and is the easiest of the three pull-offs and hammer-ons challenge trophies. The main pattern consists of a strum and then three pull-offs followed with another one. Once the second one is finished, a chord is made. The notes vary but it remains generally the same. Practice is all I can say, and this can be difficult to some (like me).

[top]
Pick a Moon Dog
Play Dig A Pony on Expert Guitar, playing all hammer-ons and pull-offs without strumming.

Hardest off the list with the fast hammer-ons and pull-offs. When the beat is given, there will be several hammer-ons or pull-offs that follow. Most people can get challenged with the chord pull-offs that are quite quick. And the solo can be endearing, but not impossible. Work with the end because it varies quite a lot with the descending notes.

The Words You Long to Hear
Earn a five-star rating for the songs on the Trophies screen as a Vocalist on Hard or Expert.

Put your difficulty on whatever you please. The following songs are below. Most of them are simple, but I would check on "Don't Let Me Down", just for the sakes. It has some variables in pitches that is look-worthy.
  • Boys
  • Don't Let Me Down
  • Do You Want To Know A Secret
  • Getting Better

[top]
She Still Sings It with the Band
Get all possible Double Fab ratings for every song with 2 vocal parts.

Not impossible, but very disclosed to people. It requires two people for the trophy and, sadly, is not online. But don't hesitate; turn the difficulty to "EASY" if you two aren't that conditioned. The trophy asks you to have a good rating whenever the duet goes on together. The following songs are:
  • A Hard Day's Night
  • Come Together
  • Dig A Pony
  • Eight Days A Week
  • Get Back
  • Hey Bulldog
  • I Am The Walrus
  • I Me Mine
  • I Saw Her Standing There
  • I Want To Hold Your Hand
  • I'm Looking Through You
  • I've Got A Feeling
  • Something
  • Ticket To Ride

[top]
All the Children Sing
Get all possible Triple Fab ratings for every song with 3 vocal parts.

Will probably be the last trophy you get. There are a good fraction of the songs that have 3 vocal parts. It will require three people and three microphones, and yes, local multiplayer. You can put it on any difficulty, suggestively on "EASY" as it makes Triple Fabs much easier. It requires scoring all lyrics properly and to receive a fab rating when all three sing. The required songs are below.
  • And Your Bird Can Sing
  • Back In The U.S.S.R.
  • Birthday
  • Boys
  • Day Tripper
  • Dear Prudence
  • Do You Want To Know A Secret
  • Don't Let Me Down
  • Drive My Car
  • Getting Better
  • Good Morning Good Morning
  • Hello Goodbye
  • Helter Skelter
  • Here Comes The Sun
  • I Feel Fine
  • I Wanna Be You Man
  • I Want You
  • If I Needed Someone
  • Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds
  • Octopus's Garden
  • Paperback Writer
  • Sgt. Pepper's
  • Taxman
  • Twist And Shout
  • While My Guitar Gently Weeps
  • Yellow Submarine

[top]
Liverpool Lads
Play a song in The Cavern '63 in Story.

First Story trophy. Just do one of the simple selections given and be applauded by the onslaught of fan-girls and you'll receive a bronze trophy.

[top]
Really Big Show
Play a song on The Ed Sullivan Show '64 in Story.

Second chapter, nothing worth mentioning in here. Just finish a song, as it is part of the Story.

[top]
Stadium Superstars
Play a song in Shea Stadium '65 in Story.

Arrive to the United States, and once you finish your first song, you get another easy bronze.

[top]
The Final Tour
Play a song in Budokan '66 in Story.

When you go to Japan, pick a song and get yourself a bronze. Nothing incredible here.

[top]
In the Studio
Play a song in Abbey Road, Studio 2 in Story.

After playing your first song within the three chapters of this story, this trophy will then be in your hands.

[top]
Passed the Audition
Play all the songs on the Apple Corps Rooftop '69 in Story.

All the songs. Now you meet the more "mellow" side of The Beatles in this chapter. Still lovely to hear, and nevertheless beautiful, and fun songs to play.

[top]
The Love You Make
Complete the Encore in Story.

After seeing the jaw-dropping ending, there's the Encore. The Encore consists entirely of one song: "The End". Nothing complicated in this masterpiece. Two insane solos for both drums and guitar. Any difficulty can be done for this song, and just have fun. Once you complete the song, a simple silver is given to you.

[top]
Mr. K Will Challenge the World
Finish all 8 Chapter Challenges.

There is no difficulty in the Chapter Challenges. Play on any difficulty, but suggestively one suitable for five-star ratings for the following trophy. It's just time consuming for this. I advise doing this trophy after finishing story mode.

[top]
Toppermost of the Poppermost
Finish all 8 Chapter Challenges with full star ratings.

Get this after doing the Story mode in under 24-hours. I suggest putting the difficulty on a lower mode. Every individual challenge requires one play to get all five stars. It isn't hard, but definitely time consuming.

[top]
I Saw the Photograph
Get your first Beatles Photo.

Simply done when you finish a song. But get a five-star rating on a song, and you will receive two each.

[top]
In Penny Lane There is a Barber
Get half of the Beatles Photos.

Without trying, you will have half the Beatles Photos when you finish the story. It is not difficult to do this. To get the Beatles Photos, it requires a three-star rating and five-star rating on each individual song on Story. It requires getting all full-star ratings on the Chapter Challenges.

[top]
Images of Broken Light
Get all the Beatles Photos.

This will take some time. You will achieve this trophy after getting several beforehand. To get this trophy, you must get a five-star rating on every song, this includes full-ratings on the Chapter Challenge. Check the Beatles Photo Album to see which you are missing. Songs can be done on any difficulty for the trophy. You can also see which ones are missing whether there are one or two photos by a song or Chapter Challenge, and when you finish either one, it shows which photos you are missing and what you gained.

[top]
The Teachers Who Taught Me WERE Cool
Complete all the Beatle Beats.

There are 86 Beatle Beats. Quite challenging for a bronze trophy. It is especially difficult because you have to do each Beatles Beat on 100% tempo. There are about ten Beatles Beats that require practice. Remember that you can slow down the speed and add the metronome to keep your rhythm. The last Beatles Beat includes the drum solo from "The End" and the rest are generally from other songs, including downloadable content.

[top]
Doing the Best That You Can!
Complete all the Drum Lessons.

Typically easy. Whatever you prefer, you just need to finish the Drum Lessons. Put the BPM on what ever suits you, it registers even 40 BPM, but not 20 BPM. It does not matter, but keep the metronome on and have them done. There are no lessons too hard, especially with the varying adjustment of the tempo.

[top]
Gear Guitarist
Earn a Guitar Career score of 1,000,000.

Continue to play on Quickplay. It can take as much as several hours or a few depending on your skill. You can average about 80,000 points per song (on "EXPERT"). You cannot replay songs for more points, sadly. Having band members does not particularly include to the points-fest as well.

[top]
Ace Bassist
Earn a Bass Career score of 1,000,000.

See Gear Guitarist for trophy information.

[top]
Dazzling Drummer
Earn a Drum Career score of 1,000,000.

See Gear Guitarist for trophy information.

[top]
Sensational Singers
Earn a Vocal Harmonies Career score of 1,000,000.
