[top]Tips & Strategies

  • All Trophies are in XMB order.
  • Lara can shoot enemis from the hip by pressing the , but if you hold the you can lock on to your enemies and shoot them during jumps, rolls and running away.
  • Adrenaline Shot: The Adrenaline Shot is a very useful technique in the game. All enemies have a hidden Rage meter. Shoot them repeatedly to drive up the Rage meter and they will eventually get mad and charge you. Just before a charge you will see a red flash above them, then when they get close enough in their charge you will receive a prompt to use the left stick plus to dodge. You must be holding the for this to work. When you dodge a target reticule will focus onto the head of the enemy. When it turns red fire to kill them in one shot.
  • Experiment with the hidden weapons to find what weapon is right for you. I personally prefer the Dual .50 Caliber Pistols, they have excellent range and deal a lot of damage. The Shotgun is good if you are being overwhelmed in close quarters, and it usually drives up the Rage Meter in one shot. The Dual Mini SMGs are good for quickly driving up the Rage Meter, but do minimal damage and chew through the ammo very fast.
  • To backjump from a Wall Grapple you must wait until you turn the to run the opposite direction, otherwise Lara will just jump the way she is facing with her momentum.
  • If you hold down the while hanging from a ledge, Lara will do an acrobatic handstand when she pulls herself up.
  • If you press the immediately after a jump, Lara will do a swan dive, even if it is over land.

[top] Comp and Hoff's Path to Platinum

  1. Play through the game on Hard Mode. This will be your Collectibles run. Take your time to learn all the puzzles for each level and the tricks of the game to make you get through each area faster. Make sure you collect all the Relics, Artifacts and Weapons so you don't have to waste time looking for them later. If you miss anything don't stress out, you can play the levels over on Level Select.
  2. Play through each level through the Replay Level choice and make sure you select Time Trials. This is your second playthrough, you do not need to start a new game, simply level select. Try and use this time for your cleanup of any trophies you may have missed in your regular playthrough such as not dieing in sections or on bosses.
  3. Play Croft Manor to complete the challenges, which will unlock the Time Trial Mode for the Manor. From the Main menu select Play Game, then Level Select to find Croft Manor at the top and select Time Trial mode.
  4. Cleanup any random trophies you may have missed.
  5. Ding!

Sign Seals Delivered
Collect the seals of Anubis, Horus, Isis and Osiris

This is a Story Based Trophy

This trophy is impossible to miss as you must collect these 4 seals to complete the Obelisk of Khamoon level. I'm going to give you a quick rundown of how to get them, if you need a more detailed description, please see the Raid Like an Egyptian trophy below.
  • From the beginning of the Obelisk chamber, turn to your right and pull the lever against the wall which will lower one of the bridges. Use the ramp to grab The Eye of Harus seal.
  • Turn to your right and jump into the water. Now climb into the doorway that's open and proceed to the next large room. Use the artifact on the wall to lower the pillar allowing you to start your climb to the top of the area.
  • After getting to the top of the area, follow the hallway until you reach the Obelisk room. Once there, turn right and use the ledges to reach the platform on the right side that has a lever which drops a bridge that will give you access to a Seal. Once you do that backtrack to the starting platform of this room, and use the ledges to reach the hallway on the left side of the room.
  • Follow the path until you reach a large room with a long ramp to slide down. Head down to the bottom, and turn around and you will see a lever in a nook under the ramp. Pull this lever to reveal a long staircase. Now turn around and grab the movable crate out of the nook on the other side of the room and pull it out far enough to allow you to reach the ledges above the opening for the crate. Use these ledges and the wall grapple points to climb up to the very top of the room and head down the hallway to find another lever that drops another ramp to another Seal.
  • Now head back to the room you came from, and climb down to the open gate at the bottom of the stairs. This path will take you back to the Obelisk room.
  • Grab the Seal of Anubis, then use the poles to reach the back platform of the room, and use the other set of poles to reach the other bridge and grab the Ankh of Isis, then turn around and head down the hallway.
  • In the next area, turn left and use the wall artifact to open the gate at the bottom, it also starts the blades >:F, and use the wall ledges below that to reach the bottom.
  • Climb up to the doorway, then follow that path to the end of the area to reach the last lever and drop down the last bridge. Head back to main Obelisk room and use the poles to reach the middle bridge and grab the Scarab of Osiris and the trophy will unlock.

Central Shaft Survivor
Complete the central shaft in the Lost Island without dying

The Central Shaft is located in the Lost Island: The Great Pyramid level. You might unlock this on yur normal playthrough, but there is no need to stress about it . If you don't simply select the Play Game option from the menu, then choose the Replay Level option and you can even play it on Easy. From the start of the level, follow the path until you are in a Central Room and you will see a cutscene. After the cutscene, you will head back into the previous room, kill the enemies and head to the back corner to find a door open on the right with a ladder. Climb up and kill the enemies the again head to the back right of the room to find another open door. Follow this hallway until you reach the Central Shaft, which comes with a Checkpoint. This is the start of the "without dying section". Follow these tips for this trophy:
  • On each level there will be a Red Target to shoot which will release the wall mounts needed to make it to the next level. This will also release some fling enemies as well. I recommend using a high power long range weapon such as the Dual .50 Caliber weapons to quickly take them out. Stay in the middle of the platforms and be careful trying to dodge as they have an irritating habit of knocking Lara off the edge to her death with their projectiles. After killing the enemies, reshoot the target and then proceed
  • The targets you shoot are on Timers, which makes this part even more irritating. The Wall mounts and poles to proceed will disappear fairly quickly so you must move quick in each section. In addition to the Wall Mounts each sections platform will start to slowly retract on a timer after you first shoot the target. Once you have killed the enemies and reshoot the target, the floor on each level will re-extend.
  • Level 1: From the start shoot the target, kill the enemies, then reshoot the target again. Now jump over to the ledge on the right side, shimmy to the left and backjump. Immediately press the to wall grapple, and then press the at the height of the wall run to jump and grab onto the ledge on the left. Jump up to the higher ledge and then shimmy to the right and back jump to the next platform.
  • Level 2: From the start shoot the target, kill the enemies, then reshoot the target again. Now jump to the lower ledge on the right, then jump up to the higher ledge and shimmy to the left. Backjump and use the wall grapple to swing over and jump off to grab the lower ledge on the other side. Jump up to the upper ledge, then shimmy to the left and at the end jump up again to a higher ledge. Now from here backjump again to reach the next level.
  • Level 3: From the start shoot the target, kill the enemies, then reshoot the target again. Jump to the right to the ramp and immediately jump again to the pole. New jump again to the higher pole, and turn around, get a good swing and jump up to the ledge. Shimmy to the left, then backjump to the pole, then jump off and press the to wall grapple. Now this one you must wait for Lara to turn around at the height of her jump. Press the control stick away from the wall and press the to back jump then press the again to catch the wall grapple point on the next wall. Wall run across this wall then jump to the ledge on the other side. Jump up to the higher ledge, then shimmy to the left and backjump to the next level.
  • Level 4: From the start shoot the target, kill the enemies, then reshoot the target again. Turn to your right and jump to the ramp. Immediately jump again to the pole, then quickly jump again to the next ramp, quickly jump again to the next pole and then finally jump again to the next ledge. Jump up to the next ledge and then shimmy to the left and backjump to the next level.
  • Level 5: From the start shoot the target, kill the enemies, then reshoot the target again. Jump to the ramp on the right side then jump off and press the to catch the wall grapple and jump off again to the ramp on the opposite corner. Now immediately jump off again and press the to catch the wall grapple on the next wall and jump off again on the next corner to reach the ledge. Jump up to the next ledge and shimmy to the left. Backjump up to the next area and proceed through the door for a new checkpoint. Once you finish this section without dieing the trophy will unlock.

Slayer I
Defeat the boss in Peru without dying

The boss here is the Giant T-Rex. The level starts you off by first defending yourself against two sets of three raptors. Kill the 6 of them and it will activate an interactive cutscene. You will need to press . Once this is completed you will be up against the T-Rex. There are two ways this can be done.

One - Using the pistols (as they reach further than the shotgun) stay far away from him and shoot. Once he goes into rage mode, avoid it and have him charge into one of the three objects with spikes. Keep doing this until he is out.

Two - I found a little spot over by the building. If you go to the side and hide between the side of the building and a tree you can continuously shoot him and he can't get to you. When he swings his tail though he can but it doesn't do much damage. From here you just keep shooting till his health is gone. This is the longer way though.

When you defeat him there will be another interactive cutscene where you have to press to finally beat him by making him run into the building and have rocks collapse on him.

[top]
Slayer II
Defeat the boss in Greece without dying.

There are two bosses in this fight. They key is to focus on one at a time.

One - Lock onto one of the centaurs with :L1: and keep shooting it until it rages. The first time it rages it will try to turn you to stone. So either press to get down or just put your guns away and you won't turn to stone. When the ray is gone, lock on again and start shooting till it rages again. This time it will charge at you. When it charges do the adrenaline shot and shoot it in the head. This will make him put his shield slightly down. Use the grapple to pull the shield away.

Two - Lock on to the centaur with the shield and keep shooting. Once again the first time will be the ray to turn you to stone. Lock back on and keep shooting till he rages again and charges. Do an adrenaline shot to the head and use the grapple to pull the shield away.

Three - Now when you shoot and they rage, it will only be the ray to turn you to stone. When they are about to use this ray, pick up one of the shields to deflect the ray back on its self. Once the centaur is stoned, keep shooting and watch his health go down. Keep doing this till you have kill both centaurs.

**Hints**
1. If you are turned to stone, move the analog stick back and forth to break out. If you do not, the centaur will come over and kick you, thus killing you.

2. Save right before the fight, this way if you die, or start to die, you can just reload the save and try again.

3. Dodge their fire balls, press to roll out of their way. You can usually see where it will land by the ground where it will land start to glow just a tad.

[top]
Slayer III
Defeat the first boss on the Lost Island without dying

You will receive this trophy in the final chapter "The Lost Island" in the last level "The Final Conflict".

As soon as the level starts, walk through the room until you activate a cutscene. As soon as the cutscene is over, SAVE. This will begin the boss fight. You can't shoot the boss yet as it will not damage him, so look for the target on his left hand. You have to make him go off the ledge, and this is pretty easy to do. Just stand next to the edge of the pit with your back towards the edge, and enrage the boss. When it comes to attack you, just do an adrenaline dodge to move out of the way. This should make him fall over the edge. He will hang from the ledge with his right hand and try to get back up with his left. An orangish circle will show over the left hand, so now shoot at it. Depending on the weapon of choice, you may have to repeat this process again.

Go through the same process as before, but this time the orangish circle is over the fingers of the hand holding the ledge. So shoot the fingers to make him fall. All fingers have to be shot at. Once this boss falls into the pit, the trophy will unlock.

[top]
Slayer IV
Defeat the final boss on the Lost Island without dying

You will receive this trophy in the final chapter "The Lost Island" in the last level "The Final Conflict".
This is the final fight of the game, the one the game has been leading up too. The fight isn't hard at all. There are two main steps to the fight. Right at the fight starts, SAVE.

Step One:
Here you will have two targets you will need to hit. Point your guns at Natla until you see the two orangish spots, one is on her right wing, the other on the left. There are your first two targets. All you have to do is keep running around and shooting at the targets on both wings, but careful of the first balls. After a bit the wings will be damaged enough and a cut scene will activate. Thus beginning step two.

Step Two:
Here you will need to use the adrenaline headshot to damage her. As you have destroyed her wings in the previous fight, she will not be able to fly though she still has the fireball attack. This attack is a bit harder to dodge this time around, so just run and hide behind one of the pillars. Keep shooting at Natla until she is enraged, and run at her and do the adrenaline headshot over her head. You will end up facing the back of her. Notice the green spot on her back as you are landing, this is your new main target to aim for. Keep shooting at it until her heath is gone and she is dead. This won't happen the first time, so repeat the process of the adrenaline headshot until she is dead. Once all her health is gone, the fight ends and the trophy pops.

Work your way around the corner on the ledge, then backjump into the small nook that has this Artifact.
  • Artifact 6: After defeating the T-Rex, proceed through the water tunnel and head to the upper walkway of this large outer area. Work your way all the way around until you come to a broken bridge. Jump across this bridge, and then climb up the ledges on the left side to get to a new walkway. Instead of sliding down the ramp, jump over to the ledge on the other side of the ramp, then jump down to the next ledge below you. Look down and you will see the Artifact below you. Jump down to the platform to get the Artifact.
  • Shotgun: From the main Waterfall Room, climb to the top of the Waterfall, then head all the way to the back of the cave and collect the Cog at the end of the path. Once you get there, hang off the edge of the bridge and climb down the bridge and jump over to the right to find a small tunnel you can crouch walk through to find the Shotgun and receive the Weapon Master I trophy.
  • Relic 2: AFTER placing all three Cogs into the gears to lower the damn into the waterfall, head back up to the top of the waterfall. Follow the path all the way around to the broken bridge you swing to from the Grapple point. From here use the ledges on the right to climb up to a walkway on the top that leads to a lever. Use the lever and a gate will open underwater. Now head back down to the beginning of the waterfall so you have your bearings with my landmarks and then head to the first bridge you cross in this area. This should open a gate back on the first platform against the wall you jumped to from the pillars. Backtrack to this opening to find the first Artifact.
  • Artifact 2: In the Greek door main Hub, from the top, use your grapple to pull out the ledge towards the Atlas door, jump over to the platform and jump off to the right and move down the wall ledges and slide ramps. When you get to the Atlas door, drop down and shimmy under it to the left side of the door. Backjump to the pole and use it to swing over to the platform with the Artifact.

The next 4 Artifacts can be done in ANY order!
  • Artifact 3: Haephaestus Room: After passing the Lightning Floor, you will need to get the Hammer to hit the ground without crushing you. Climb up the Hammer, and jump to the right, then jump to the right again to the platform above the locked door with the key. Head into the nook on this platform to find the Artifact.
  • Artifact 4: Atlas Room: After releasing and avoiding the Globe from Atlas, head towards the ramp, and climb up the now broken pillar on the right to reach the platform. Turn left and climb up to the upper platform to find the Artifact.
  • Artifact 5: Poseidon Room: In the main room, head behind the middle pillar and jump into the water. Swim down towards the bottom and pull the lever to open the gate above you. Now swim back up to the surface and climb up into the nook in the back of the room with the Artifact.
  • Artifact 6: Damocles Room: After obtaining the key, and avoiding the falling swords, head to the back of the room and climb up the ramp. Use your grapple to get to the raised platform, then jump to the middle platform. From here you can see the Artifact on your left and the lever on your right. Pull the lever on the right first, then head back to the main room. In here, avoid the spikes on the floor and work your way back towards the entrance. At the entrance, head around the other side of the room and at the back of the room climb up to the nook opposite the Artifact. This will lower the spikes around it. Now make your way back to the Key room and back up to the platform with the Artifact.

Coliseum
  • Artifact 7: After getting the Balcony Key, head up to the balcony and over to the platform on the left facing the Ceiling Grapple Point. Jump and grapple, then swing and jump again but swing low enough to grapple onto the second Grapple point in front of you. If you swing to high you will try and catch the ledge instead. From here look to your left, and you will see a small nook on the stairs that has the Artifact inside. Turn so Lara faces the nook then get a good swing going and jump to the nook to get the Artifact.
  • Dual .50 Caliber Pistols: After getting the Balcony Key, head up to the balcony and over to the platform on the left facing the Ceiling Grapple Point. Jump and grapple, then swing high and jump while holding the to catch onto the high platform in front of you. Climb up onto this platform, then head to the other side of it. Once on the other side, hang off the other side, then shimmy to the right and into the nook next to the pillar to grab your weapons and the Weapon Master II trophy.

Midas' Palace
  • Relic 1: Once you get to Midas' Main room, use the lever on the upper right to unlock the left door. Head through the left door to the Sword Room. This is the room with the pillars and swords around the base of them. Once inside the room, look in the upper corners for a pile of rocks with a Grapple Point on them. Pull these rocks down, this is our destination. Now head through the other door and pull out the crate on the side of the stairs. Go behind the crate and pull the lever to open the door at the top of the stairs. Now head up the stairs and pull the lever up top to raise the pillars. These are timed pillars that will being lowering one by one as soon as you grab onto the first one. From here, head back down and look at the sloped pillar in front of the nook we are going to for the Relic. Look on the side of the pillar and you will see a groove that goes down to the floor. Grab the moveable Block from the other room, and lodge it into this groove. This will prevent this pillar from lowering before we can get to it. Now head back up and quickly snake around the room to reach this nook for the Relic.
  • Artifact 8: After getting the last Relic, head back upstairs and pull the lever again to reraise the pillars. Before jumping glance out to your right and in the corner you will see another nook. This is our destination. Do a half snake over to that side on the pillars, and on the wall platform, turn to your right and jump over to the small pillar and then to the wall ledge. Pull yourself up into the nook for the Artifact.
  • Relic 2: The Final Relic for Greece is through the middle door behind Midas. Once you get into the water room with the flame pillars. First head into the water and lure the alligator over to the edge so you can climb out of the water and shoot them, trust me he's in the water. Head up the pillars on the left and the right and pull the levers in each hallway to raise all the flame pillars in the room. Next, head back to the beginning, like you just came in the room to get your bearings and head up to the lever hall on the right side of the room. From here turn left and you will see a Wall Grapple high on the wall. Use this grapple to reach the ledges against the far wall, then follow these ledges to the small nook in the back of the large Flame pillar. Once you pull the lever you will see the relic in the cinematic. Now quickly jump back into the water, This is a timed lever, and swim back to the beginning. us the Pillars to get back over to the large Flame pillar and grab your Relic to get the Greek Reliquarian trophy.

Tomb of Tihoacan
  • Artifact 9: In the main room, use the wheel to raise the water level, then swim under water to the other side and at the middle pillar, swim down to the lever that releases the grate on the floor of the area. Now swim up and catch your breath, and then swim back down to the very bottom for this Artifact.
  • Artifact 10: The final artifact is located outside the final temple. When you are facing the underground temple after swimming through the water tunnels, swim in the water to the very left and then swim under water to find a short underwater tunnel with the Artifact at the end and receive the Greek 'fact Finder trophy.

Egyptian Reliquarian
Collect all the relics in Egypt

There are only 2 Relics in the Egypt area. Once you have collected all the Relics from Egypt, you will receive this trophy. Below we will cover all the Collectibles in the Egypt area, there are 9 Artifacts to collect in addition to the Relics and even a new Weapon. These are listed in the order you will find them during your game play.

Temple of Khamoon
  • Artifact 1: From the main temple entrance, climb the pillars on the left side. On the upper walkway, shoot the target on the wall to make a pole appear, then continue along the path until you come to a ladder. Climb up the ladder until you come to a large nook on the outer wall. Head into the nook and climb up into a an upper area in the right corner to find this Artifact.
  • Artifact 2: Once you are inside, you will come to a small inner oasis. Jump in the pool in the middle and swim through the underground passage and complete the puzzle in the next room. When you get to the top, and are looking out on the oasis, look at the top of the structure and you can see the Artifact. From this opening, turn left and use the Wall Grapple to swing and jump and catch a ledge on the wall to the left. Now backjump, then use your Grapple to catch the Ceiling Grapple Point. From here, swing and jump across the next 2 Grapple Points to reach the top of the structure and the Artifact.
  • Artifact 3: After the room with all the Panthers, you will come to a room with a large ladder. Climb up this ladder and there should be a large beetle statue attached to the wall in front of you and a single Anubis Mummy. Kill him then head to the corner of the room to find some blocks to climb. From these blocks turn around and you will see a an upper platform in the corner, this is where we are going. use the wall Grapple and then jump across the pillars to snake around the room to reach the wall, then climb over to the upper platform for the Artifact.
  • Relic 1: When you get to the room with the 4 pillars and all the moveable blocks, pull the block out from the wall pillar to the right side of the door.and use this to climb up to the ledge. Follow the ledges around and then backjump to the top of the pillars in the middle. Hope across the tops of these to the other side, then climb up into the nook with the first Relic.

Obelisk of Khamoon
  • Artifact 4: From the main entrance to the main room with the 4 seals, jump into the water, after lowering the platform with the lever, then head through the bottom right door into the doorway with an eye on the side. At the end, use the wall mount to lower the pillar and start your climb. About halfway up, you will come to a sealed door with some rubble and a lever next to it. Pull the lever and a pole will emerge above you. This is timed! Now move as fast as you can snaking around the room to this pole and swing across to the upper walkway 2 stories up to find the Artifact.
  • Artifact 5: In the room where you slide down the very large ramp, once you are at the bottom, use the moveable box at the bottom to climb up into the alcove to use the lever. Once you do the ramp will go away and get replaced by stairs. Now you must use the wall ledges to get back up to the top of the stairs again. From the second stair from the top, jump and use the wall grapple, then back jump and catch the wall grapple on the next wall. From here come to a complete stop and look down. You should be right above a pillar with the Artifact. Drop down and grab your Artifact.
  • Artifact 6: After pulling the lever at the top of the Ramp room, head through the door at the bottom of the room to make your way back to the main chamber and grab the Seal, then swing across the poles to get to the walkway on the other side. Grab the Seal on this side and then head through the open door. Head through this hallway to a large main room. Turn left and climb up to the Mounted Artifact lever on the wall to start the spikes. Now drop down and move to the right avoiding the spikes to the opening with a ramp that leads down. Instead of heading down, use the wall ledges to climb up then back jump to a higher platform. Now from here, look up to the right and you will see two higher platforms. The one closest to you is our target. Now this is the MOST irritating Artifact in the entire game, and I spent about 2 hours trying to get this damn thing. You need to use the Wall Grapple and backjump from the top of the wall mural as your reference point, and hold the , and catch the platform. sounds easy...BUT IT'S NOT...maybe ill make a rage comic about it. Once you grab ahold, pull yourself up and crouch by holding the to avoid the spikes. Move over to the right and when the spikes go away jump and grab the ledge and quickly move to the right and jump off and grab the pole. DON'T JUMP YET!!! Wait for the pole to lower down, then jump and catch the next ledge. Pull yourself up and crouch walk to get the Artifact.

Artifact 7 can be done before 6, thus not having started all the swinging blades makes it easier.

    //WhiteWolf
  • Artifact 7: After grabbing the last Artifact, grab a new controller if you broke your last one after the Grapple fiasco, drop back down from the platform and go back over to the entrance. From here, drop down the ledges next to the entrance to get to the bottom of the room. Once there kill the mummies, then climb up the ledges on the wall to get to the rooms exit. Instead of leaving, jump to the pillar on the left, then make your way around the room avoiding the spikes. After the long jump past the double spikes, wall climb to the end and pull yourself up into a nook for the final Artifact of this area.

Sanctuary of Scion
  • Dual Mini SMGs: These are located on the very top of the Sphinx, on it's head. To get these, from the front of the Sphinx facing away from it, climb the stairs in the back of the room and head to your right. Use the ledges and pillars to climb up to the very top and kill the flying mummies. Look up and you will see several Ceiling Grapple points. Use these to swing over to the top of the head to the new weaponas well as the Weapon Master III trophy..
  • Artifact 8: From the Mini SMGs, use the Grapples to get back to the high platform, then jump down and head through the door in the back of the area. In the next large area, head to your right and climb down the ledges and ladders on the wall. From the ladder jump to the ledge above the door, and shimmy to your right until you get to the other side and the Artifact.
  • Relic 2: Now this is the most irritating Relic in the entire game. When you get to the large room full of water, swim down to the bottom to find a lever to drain out all the water. Now from the lever, facing away from it, swim over to the right side and climb up the walls to find a set of shootable Scarab Beetles. Shoot them so the Beetles face in this pattern:
    • Upper Left: Left
    • Upper Right: Down
    • Lower Left: Up
    • Lower Right: Right

Once you do this, the gate will open allowing you to pull the lever inside and raise the water. While you are in the lever room, look up and you will see an opening to another room above you, remember this for later. Head back out and climb up the ladder to your right, then work your way around the ledges until you finally get to a Wall Lever that opens an underwater gate. Jump into the water and swim around the front of the left side statue and swim underwater and through the now open gate to a small room. This gate is in a timer so don't dawdle. Climb up and you will see another Scarab Puzzle. Ignore this for now and head the opposite direction towards the water and look down and you will see a moveable crate. Drop off onto the ledge with it and push it off into the water. Swim back to the drain lever and redrain the water. Once you have done this, swim back to the left side and push the crate against the wall with the closed gate so you can use it to climb up. Don't climb up yet, head back over to the right side statue and climb your way all the way back up to the wall lever that opens this gate. Don't Add more water yet. Open the gate and jump into the shallow water and use the crate to climb up into the room, then use the ledges to get to the top. Now head back to the ledge the crate was on and hang off the edge. Shimmy to the right and drop off to catch the leg of the statue. Shimmy to the right around the leg, and jump to the wall lever that will open a new gate to the very right of that statue you just jumped from. This is your destination. Now jump off and head over to the other statue and climb back up to the Scarab puzzle and pull the lever to add water. From here move all the way back around to the lever on the wall that opens the gate, then swim through it and get back to the 2nd Scarab Puzzle, the one we previously ignored. Now shoot these Scarabs into this pattern:
    • Upper Left: Up
    • Upper Right: Left
    • Lower Left: Right
    • Lower Right: Down

The gate above you should open, climb into the hole and use the lever to raise the water again. Once you have done that, jump back into the water and swim under the water and into the nook with the first lever and swim up into the hidden room I had you remember from earlier. Now climb into this room and use the ledges to get up to a walkway outside above the water. Jump on the wall lever in the middle of the walkways to raise the water again. Before you leave the area in the doorway, swim under the water into the gate we opened that I told you was our destination earlier on the right side if you are facing the statues to get your final relic of the area and the Egyptian Reliquarian trophy.
  • Artifact 9: After the water puzzle, you will come to a room with several pillars. You need to use the pillars and the ceiling grapple to get to each side of the room and pull the levers to open the gate. When you get to the left side, instead of jumping to the lever platform, jump into the corner to a nook with the final Artifact of the area and the Egyptian 'fact Finder trophy.

Natla's Mines
  • Artifact 1: From the top of the locked Room that has your guns in it, BEFORE you destroy the roof, jump from the roof of the building off to the right side to the posts and then jump to the ledge on the wall. Move around the ledges, then backjump to the pole and jump to ramp. Slide down the ramp and jump off to reach the platform with the first Artifact.
  • Artifact 2: AFTER retrieving your guns, head back to the first room and get on the raft. Shoot the stake on the land the raft is tied to and ride it over to the rock wall. Climb up the ledges and follow the ledge path to the crates on the other side to find the Artifact.
  • Relic 1: After grabbing the last Artifact, jump in the water and swim into the waterfall to pull yourself up into the tunnel. Run to the top of the tunnel and use the ledges to reach the first crate. Jump off the rope and stand on top of the crate, then shoot the rope so the crate falls to the ground. It will open with the Relic inside.
  • Artifact 3: Once you use the Drill to get into the lava room, jump around the room until you are on the broken tracks on the other side. Instead of climbing up, jump off to the right to land on a pole, then use the poles to reach the rock platform in the lava with the Artifact.
  • Artifact 4: After the Super Action battle with Kold, you will be in front of a large wall with what looks like metal spikes poking out. Head over to the left side and use the crate to climb up on the rocks. Once you get to the top you will be able to jump down and stand on top of the spikes. You need to jump from spike to spike all the way over to the other side. Now try and stay on the gray ones, as the silver ones will disappear as part of the door unlocking mechanism. When you get to the other side you will notice a walkway on the rocks, and if you look higher you will see a ledge. You need to grab this ledge to get to the top and you can't do it from the walkway. You will need to quickly jump onto the silver spike in front of it and then quickly jump again to grab the ledge. once you do shimmy to the right and then jump over to the high ledge to get to the Artifact.

The Great Pyramid
  • Artifact 5: Once you climb up to the top of the Central Corridor, instead of heading through the door, head to your left and jump over to the ledge leading to the small nook that has the Artifact.
  • Relic 2: After your battle with the Doppleganger, you will come to a room with a lava pit in the middle and on the sides there will be 3 pillars ramming in and out of the wall. Head across the pillars and pull the lever on each side to open the door and extend the walkway. Next head across the walkway but pull your guns and point up until Lara targets the ceiling. Shoot the ceiling to cause a rock to crash through the floor. Jump in the hole and slide down the ramp and jump to grab a Grapple point which will swing you across to a tunnel. At the end of the tunnel is a ladder and at the top is the final Relic of the game and the Lost Island Reliquarian trophy.

Final Conflict
  • Artifact 6: After crossing the lava river in the beginning, fight off the ambushing Centaur, then pull the lever in the next room to open the door to a lower room. In this room, jump in the pool of water, and turn around and swim under the floor to find a lever. Pull this to release a platform in the room above. Hop out of the water and use the platform to get into the air vent above and you will see a moveable crate. Jump up into the area with the crate and turn around and you will see the Artifact behind you. Push the crate out onto the floor then turn around and get a good run and jump to the Artifact.
  • Artifact 7: Now jump down to the Crate you pushed out and push it over to the stone pillar. Climb up to the lever and open the locked door. Once the door is open, jump back down and push the crate down the hallway to a nook on the upper left with the Artifact.
  • Artifact 8: After the water tunnel, you will come to a large room with a river of lava below you. Jump to the ladder on the right then work your way across the ledges to get over to the left and then back down to the ground. From here jump across the stone platforms to get into a nook opposite the wall ledges that contains the Artifact.
  • Artifact 9: From the last Artifact, head out of the nook and use the wall ledges and poles to get to the other side of the lava river. Climb up the ladder at the end, then turn around and jump to use the grapple point to get to the other side of the gap. Head around the corner, then jump to the platform fir the final Artifact of the Main Game and the Lost Island 'fact Finder trophy.

Peruvian Speed Run
Complete all the Time Trials in Peru

The Speed Runs should be what you work on for your second playthrough. You will need to complete each of the 4 sections on the Peru map for the trophy. If you FAIL the Time Trial, the game will instantly stop you at :00 and you will have the choice to restart. You can work on these at any time, but if you wait until your game is complete, you will have access to all the weapons and outfits to add a little more fun to your runs. You can collect regular level trophies during the Speed Runs. That being said I don't recommend looking for Artifacts or Relics during these as it will take up too much time, however, this is a good time for cleanup on the trophies fro completing objectives without dieing. I will list the target time and my best time for each section so you have an idea how much room for error there is on these levels. Now with that in mind I am by no means an expert on Speed Runs so you will probably do better. I will also list any major issues I have with each area and if you have any tips let me know and I will add them. If you need specific puzzle help see the Peruvian Raider trophy above. You can die on the time trials! If you die, however, the game will respawn you at the last checkpoint at the time it was on the timer when you died. So try to die as little as possible to not waste time.

Mountain Caves
  • Target Time: 6:00
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 5:29
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • This is really straightforward, just keep moving. At the Wolf Pit, I recommend taking out the wolves before trying to climb the broken bridge otherwise they can jump up and knock you down and become irritating.

City of Vilcabamba
  • Target Time: 7:00
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 6:08
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • Much like the last area, just keep moving. I recommend taking out the wolves and the bear in the village before attempting to open the door.

The Lost Valley
  • Target Time: 15:00
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 13:59
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • This one is a pain in the ass, took me several attempts. Grab the Cog on the ground first, then take out the wolves or they will annoy the shit out of you.
    • Place the Cog and climb over to the door leading to the T-Rex, which will also knock down a swing pole for later.
    • Use high powered weapons against the T-Rex and try and get him to hit each of the 3 spiked structures on the edges with your Adrenaline Shots to take him out as fast as possible then grab Cog #2.
    • Be careful when you are climbing around the top to leave this area, especially on the 2 sliding ramps you must jump off of to reach the swing poles at the end. If you somehow fall down, you can pretty much kiss your time trial good bye because you will restart by the dead T-Rex
    • When you get back to the main room, DONT PLACE THE COG! Use the swing pole to get above the waterfall and head to the back for Cog #3
    • After you grab Cog# 3, jump into the water below to quickly get back to the main room.
    • KILL THE PINCHE LOBOS FIRST!! I had to restart this once because I wasted over a minute, not killing them and trying to just jump up and climb.
    • Replace both Cogs you have in your inventory to stop the water and then dive into the pool below, Don't waste time climbing down, and head into the exit.

Tomb of Qualopec
  • Target Time: 13:00
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 12:20
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • This one was tougher than I thought it would be, as soon as you get into the main room, make the ball drop and jump down to pull the pillar over to the door on the left side of the room.
    • Head into the back of the room and pull the lever to raise one of the gates. On the way back you don't have to kill the Velociraptor, he cant follow you across the gap.
    • Back in the main room, jump to your platform you moved, then jump to the ledges on the left and use the pole to climb up above the door and target the hanging statue near the ceiling and shoot it to free the second platform. Now swing over with the grapples and release the second door by pulling the lever.
    • drop down then drop from the ledges into the pit. Pull the two platforms over then quickly climb back up and into the door.
    • Head to the end and kill the stupid wolves, then pull out the block, and climb up to reach the lever opening the last gate. DO NOT DROP DOWN! Jump to the right to the pole then swing and jump to the ledge on the wall and climb up into the small walkway. Jump down to the door area to leave quickly and avoid the Velociraptor in the hallway.
    • In the main hall jump across your platforms to reach the middle, DO NOT drop down and climb back up. Head up the ramps then head around the corner and up the second ramp to the Scion piece.
    • After the cinematic, run and don't stop. Try and not fall in the pit with the Velociraptor near the end, but if you do you will need to take him out or he will knock you off the ledges when you try and climb. Once you get to the end you will need to finish the Super Actions but this won't count against your time.

Once the gate is open behind you, use your grapple to pull out the pins from the globe and roll it off the edge. Now jump from where you are at to the broken pillar on the left then jump to the floor. Push the globe onto the floor pressure plate to open the gate above you. Now climb up the pillar by the opening like you did to get to the top already, and when you get to the second pillar, jump over to the open gate. Now jump down and use the lever to open the gate and you can roll the ball inside to open the gate to the next room.
    • In the next room, use your grapple to pull out the ledge then jump over to it. Head to the left and over to the top Left Lever to open one of the doors.
    • Head back to the center and then back to the ledge we pulled out with the grapple. This time head to the right, and follow the ledges towards the locked Atlas Room. Use the ledges to crawl under the Atlas Room entrance, and then drop down into the nook at the end of the wall and from there jump over to a ledge on the wall to your right. From here use the ledges to get to the next Lever to open another door.
    • Once you have opened the last door, drop down to the bottom and pull the Lever on the wall opposite the exit to open the third door.
    • Now its time to start heading to rooms, head to the middle structure, and first head over to the Poseidon Room and complete the puzzle for the key.
    • Now head back to the middle, use your grapple to pull down the pillar on the wall above the Damocles Room, then use the ledges to drop down to the Damocles Room and grab the key.
    • Now head all the way back to the top to the grapple ledge, and then head right and down to the Atlas Room and grab the key.
    • Now when you exit the Atlas Room, you will autotarget across the main room to a target on the wall. Shoot this to extend a ramp. When you get to the middle, ignore the ramp you just made for now, and turn to your left to see a pillar you can pull down with your grapple. Pull it down and climb up it to reach the Top Right Lever opening the final door.
    • Climb back down to the ramp you made a minute ago and use this to get to the Haephaestus Room and grab the key. This is also an excellent time to get the Lightning Never Strikes Twice trophy if you missed it on your first playthrough.

    • At the start, use the ramps on the left to get up to the stairs, then climb up above the entrance and pull the lever to unlock the gate below you. head into the gate and solve the puzzle to grab the Balcony Key.
    • Now head back up to where you pulled the lever and use the key to open the door giving you access to the balcony.
    • Now use the grapple point to swing over to the other side and use the ledges to get to the other Luxury Box and drop down to the Exit. Head down to the bottom of the corridor to end the level.

    • Head back to the main room, climb up behind the statue and pull the lever to unlock the room on the right. Head through the door on the right to the next main room. Head downstairs in the main room and use your grapple to pull out the harnesses for the pillar and grab the Lead Bar after it falls.
    • Now on your way back, head up the stairs on the left and you will be above the now sand filled room that the pillar was in. Use the ledges and broken pieces of wall to get to the other side of the room and follow this path until you get back to the main room and pull the lever on the left side to open the door in the back behind the statue.
    • Head into the next room and you will be in the flaming post room. Jump into the water and get the alligator to follow you back to land and shoot him or he will annoy you. Now swim back under water to the post on the right and pull the underwater lever to raise a platform.
    • Head across the posts to the right nook and pull the lever to raise a new platform.
    • Now head across the platforms to the left nook and pull that lever. Now finally jump back to the post in the middle left you used to get over to this nook and then use the large post in the back to jump all the way to the back for the final Lead Bar.
    • Now head back to the statue and place the Lead bars in the broken hand to turn them to Gold. Place the Gold bars in the statue to open the underwater passage then swim through the passage to end the area.

Tomb of Tihoacan
  • Target Time: 13:20
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 10:52
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • Head out of the water, then push the crate into the back left of the room to use the lever to open the passage to below.
    • Next you will come to a large room with water below you. Turn right and head across the ledges to the back of the room. Backjump, then use the walkways in the back to reach the other side of the room. From here push the crate off the ledge, then follow the ledges until you get to the other crate and push it down as well. Now jump across the broken bridge and turn around and you will see a large turning lever in a nook by the entrance. Remember this for later but for now, turn around then dive into the pool below.
    • Climb out of the water in the direction of the last crate you pushed down and when you get to it, push it over and into the pool of water.
    • Now head counter clockwise around the room until you get to the other crate and push it into the water as well. After you do that head over to the opposite side of the room to find a large lever to turn that drains the water. Jump down to the bottom and take out the alligators, then push the two crates on top of the two pressure plates and then use the wall ledges to climb back out of the pit.
    • Head back to the last lever to raise the water, and a small raft will float up from the bottom.
    • Now what you want to do is use your grapple to pull that raft into the area that was previously blocked off by a large grate until you put the crate on the pressure switch at the bottom. Pull it all the way to the walkway. Then head back around the room and climb up the ledges beneath the top level turning lever you looked at earlier.
    • Use this lever to raise the water to the top. then swim over to the raft by the exit and use the raft to get out of this room.
    • After the underwater passage ride, swim to the bottom right and into the tunnel to make it to the temple. Swim under water in front of the entrance to find a lever to open the temple doors then head into the temple.
    • Once you are done with the Super Action Events kill the two Centaurs to clear the level.

Egyptian Speed Run
Complete all the Time Trials in Egypt

The Speed Runs should be what you work on for your second playthrough. You will need to complete each of the 3 sections on the Egypt map for the trophy. If you need specific puzzle help see the Egyptian Raider trophy above. You can die on the time trials! If you die, however, the game will respawn you at the last checkpoint at the time it was on the timer when you died. So try to die as little as possible to not waste time.

Temple of Khamoon
  • Target Time: 20:30
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 16:20
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • Follow the path to the big open area with a small lake and an oasis in the middle. At this point climb the pillar to the left of the door and move around the upper walkway until you are behind the building with the door, and pull the lever to open it.
    • Now continue to the inner oasis. At the oasis, use the underwater passage to get to the room on the right and move your way up to the very top to find the lever to open a passage on the floor of the structure at the oasis. Dive into the water below then quickly go into the new passage.
    • Continue on following the path and you will eventually come to a room with 4 pillars and several pull out blocks. Pull out the blocks with the image of a woman on them to find the correct picture pattern, then turn the base of the pillars to match up to unlock the door and exit the area.

Sanctuary of Scion
  • Target Time: 28:50
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 27:58
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • First thing to do in this area is the Obelisk puzzle. This can make or break your speed run. From the stair case, head to the Obelisk on the back(furthest away from you) left corner, and turn it two clicks so the person holding the 2 small white house looking things is facing the front left corner. Now head back to the stairs to get your bearings, and then head to the Obelisk on the Front Right corner, grab it and turn it two clicks, which should put the other tree Obelisks into position and solve the puzzle.
    • At the Spinx, from the stairs that lead to the door in the Sphinx, head up the stairs, then head to the right. Use the Ladder at the end to get to the higher level, then head to the back of the room and into the door on the back left that leads to a light pillar puzzle.
    • the light pillar puzzle is really easy if you know what to do. you need to jump onto the 4 wall mechanisms and ride them into place until they lock, and a pillar will appear behind them. With each one you raise, the bridge will expand as well. Once you have raised all 4 platforms, climb back up to the top and use the lever to lower the light pillar which opens the door to a key for the Sphinx. Grab the key then head through the door that opens in the room and head back to the sphinx.
    • Once you get back to the Sphinx, head back up the stairs, then head to the left. Use the pillars to get to the upper area, and head to the door in the back right corner, that leads to another light pillar puzzle. Solve the puzzle grab the key, then head to the Sphinx and use the keys to open the doors.
    • Head to down the tunnels and dive into the water in the large room, swim down to the bottom and pull the lever to drain the water. Now swim towards the opening and climb up the statue on your right, and climb up to the Beetle Puzzle. Shoot the beetles in this pattern to open the gate to the lever to raise the water:
      • Upper Left: Left
      • Upper Right: Down
      • Lower Left: Up
      • Lower Right: Right

    • Now climb up the ladder and follow the ledges until you get to the ledge switch that opens the underwater gate. Swim through the underwater gate on the right side, and climb up to the second Beetle puzzle and shoot them in this order to open the gate to the lever that raises the water:
      • Upper Left: Up
      • Upper Right: Left
      • Lower Left: Right
      • Lower Right: Down

    • Now swim back to the first Beetle Puzzle lever you pulled, which is now underwater, and swim through the opening in the ceiling to get out of the water. Follow the ledges to the upper walkway and jump grab the wall lever in between walkways to raise the water level again which will give you access to the exit.
    • Head to the pillar room, and use the pillars on the immediate right side to maneuver to the second pillar. From the second pillar, you will either use the grapple to get to the back left of the room and place one of your Scion pieces, or use the wall grapple to get to the back right of the room and use your Scion piece. you will need to do each one so you will need about 2-3 minutes. Once you place them the door opens and the level ends.

Natla's Mines
  • Target Time: 17:00
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 14:21
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • From the start, swim to the right and follow the tunnel to get to the poles and crates above. Use these to get over to the other side and head through the tunnel to the main room. In the main room, head to the left and at the end of the tunnel you will find the Red Fuse on top of the mine cart. Grab this, then head back to the large control building in the main room and place the fuse in the circuit board and press the button to move the large crate that sits over the building in front of you.
    • Now head over to that building and use the movable crate on the left side of the building to jump up to the roof. Head over to the other side of the roof, then jump to the tunnel and follow the tunnel until you are back in the main room. Drop out of the tunnel onto the upper platform, then push the movable crate off the edge and drag it to the next upper walkway and use it to climb up. Follow this path until you get to the room the Red Fuse was in and jump over the fence to drop down and grab the Green Fuse.
    • Head back to the Control Room in the main room and place the Green Fuse in the circuit panel and press the button to move the crane holding the crate. Now press the Red Button again to move the crate back to its normal position. Head out of the Control Room, then head down the stairs and up the stacked crates that are within jumping distance to the crate the crane is holding. Jump onto the crate, and move to the left towards the backside and then backjump to land on a walkway leading down the tunnel towards the boarded up exit. Turn right at the first intersection, then drop down to find the Blue Fuse.
    • Head back to the Control Panel, and place the Blue Fuse in the circuit panel then press the Green and Red buttons one time each. Once the crane stops, press the Blue button to slam the crate into the ceiling giving you access to the room. Use the crate to the left of the room to get into the room and grab your pistols.
    • Now head back to the room the Red Fuse was in and jump on top of the drill. Jump and shoot out the windows in the small Control Room, then jump into the room and press the button to move the drill onto the tracks. Hop on the drill and press the button to exit the area.
    • After defeating Larson, you will need to head back to the control panel and replace the Blue Fuse he took out to lift the crate off the tracks and continue.
    • At the Pyramid, move the crate to the left side of the room and use it to climb up so you can jump on the spikes sticking out of the face of the pyramid. Jump on the shiny ones to make them lower and unlock the door, once they are all pushed down, hop to the nook up top of the pyramid and use the lever to unlock the door.

The Great Pyramid
  • Target Time: 16:15
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 11:30
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • The Great Pyramid is really straighforward only puzzle is the underwater passage, which you should remember from the first playthrough. The only boss battle is the Doppleganger, which isn't really a boss battle as much of a open the way forward and she will fall to her death as well.
    • The most difficult part of this will be the Central Shaft. Once you shoot the targets to open the grapple points or poles to move forward, always take out the flying creatures first, then reshoot the targets to restart your timer.
    • Try and stay in the middle of the platforms while taking out the flying creatures otherwise they have a really irritating habit of shooting you off the edge.
    • Other than that, just follow the path and you should have no problem finishing this level with plenty of room to spare.

Final Conflict
  • Target Time: 23:50
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 16:45
  • Tips and Strategies:
    • The final level is one of the easiest IMO. it starts with a a boss battle against Boss#3. Make this an quick battle by blowing off one of his arms, then getting him to charge at you when you are by the edge to the lava. perform your Adrenaline Shot and it will cause him to hang over the side. Now take out a High Powered weapon and shoot his hand and if you can get him to fall he will die no matter how much health he has left.
    • Follow the path to the end, there are no puzzles in this section either.
    • In the final fight, take her out with Adrenaline Shots, and then for the second part of the fight, jump shoot her to avoid the explosives she throws to get her to perform multiple rage attacks on you. These are the most difficult of Adrenaline Shots of the entire game IMO. I recommend a backwards roll to avoid her wings, and you need to hold her shot till you get a clear shot of the jewel on her back. You need to shoot this to stun her, then you can take off some major damage to end her quickly.

Home Run
Complete the Time Trial in Croft Manor

You must complete Croft Manor once from the main menu before the Time Trial will become available for the game, so this will probably be the very last thing you do before you earn your juicy platinum. That being said, if you follow the videos for the Homebody trophy, and then do the Time Trial immediately after you are finished, you will know exactly where you are going which makes this much easier. If you haven't played it in a while, I will list out the order to collect items to complete your objectives below. Once you head through the final door under the target time, you will achieve the trophy.

Croft Manor
  • Target Time: 19:00
  • The Hoff's Best Time: 18:21
  • Comp's Best Time:
  • Tips and Strategies:

  2. Drop down to the floor, in the middle of the boxes, and grab the movable crate. Drag this crate back straight back to the floor panel near the couch that opens a secret compartment behind the fire.
  3. Head up the stairs to the left wing, and head into the first door on the right. Now head all the way to the back room and through the door. Once inside the next room, turn to your left and go to the second bookcase from your left and press the on the book sticking out to open a secret location with Maze Map inside.
  4. After grabbing the map, turn around and head up the stairs and into the room above the bookcases. In this room head straight across from the doorway and you will see three bookcases. Use the on the two outside bookcases to open the middle one and pick up the Dual Action Pistols.
  5. Now turn around and head back into the other room, and as soon as you are in the other room, turn left and jump onto the painting. Hang on to reveal a button underneath and once it has finished moving, back jump back to the railing take out your guns and shoot the button to reveal a secret entrance on the bottom floor.
  6. Head through this secret entrance, and in the bottom corridor you will encounter a pile of crates. Shoot them to destroy them so you can climb over the bottom row, but before you climb over to leave the room, grab the Empty Bucket from the shelves on the left.
  7. Proceed over the crates, up the stairs and then press the button by the door to open the door. Go through the door to find yourself in a trophy room with all your Relics collected in the Single Player game in cases. Turn right and head up the stairs and into the room at the end of the walkway. In this room shoot out the glass panel on the far right with your pistols and grab the Sundial Gnomon
  8. Now turn around and head back to the Relic room. Press the green button to the left of the stairs to open the door, then proceed back to the main room. Once you get into the Main Room, from the doorway, jump over the balcony and head straight ahead to the bottom door to the left of the staircase.
  9. Follow the hallways and through the doors until you get outside. Once outside, jump over the wall and head to the center of the lawn and you will come to a huge Sundial. Head to the front of the Sundial and attach the Sundial Gnomon to use it. Now turn the Sundial in this pattern:
    1. Turn the dial left until you are pointing at XI. The controller will vibrate and once you are directly on it, the XI panel will raise.
    2. Turn the dial right until you are pointing at II. The controller will vibrate and once you are directly on it, the XI panel will raise.
    3. Turn the dial left again until you are pointing at VI. The controller will vibrate and once you are directly on it, a beam of light will come down from the sky and the gates will open to the maze.

  10. Once inside the Hedge Maze, follow this path to get to the center quickly:
    Maze Map
    1. At the first intersection, turn Right then follow the path.
    2. At the Second Intersection turn right. Follow this path until you come to an opening with an oval grass patch in the middle.
    3. Head through the opening on the Left side of the area, then turn Right to continue.
    4. When you turn the next corner, go straight, and follow the path around making two more Lefts on the pathway. After the 2 Lefts, on the next passageway, take the first Right.
    5. Take an immediate Right turn, then take your second Left.
    6. Head straight to the end of the path and turn Left, then head straight to the end of the next path and turn Right.
    7. Turn Right again, then head straight to the end of the path and turn Left.
    8. Follow this path all the way to the end and turn Left, then follow this next path until you get to the next intersection.
    9. At this next intersection, take the second Right, then the first Left.
    10. Now you will take your first Left, then at the next intersection turn Right, then take your first Left.
    11. Follow this path until you can take your next Left and you should be in the center of the Maze.

  11. Grab the Grappling Hook off of the front of the fountain, then turn away from the doors and use the Grapple to pull off the panel in the middle of the fountain. In this hole, place the Gear for later, then turn around and use your grapple to open the gate and head back to the house.
  12. Once you are back in the main room, head into the bottom door on the Right side of the steps and then proceed into the training room and follow these steps:
    1. Head up Ramp 3, and jump up to the ledge. Head to the right, and at the halfway point, drop down and shimmy around the ledge above the emptied pool, then use your grapple to swing to the right and more ledges.
    2. Backjump to the pole, which will turn, then jump into the nook and press the button to turn a pole you need.
    3. Head up Ramp 1 and jump to the pole tree. As soon as you start to turn, jump again to grab the second pole tree. Now you will most likely be on the middle pole facing to the right, turn to the left and the poles should turn and you will be facing the ledge. Jump to the ledge, then jump to the right to the wall pegs. Climb up and back jump to the nook. Press the button to raise all the padded posts.
    4. Now head back to Ramp 3, then head up and to the right again. At the midway point, instead of dropping, backjump to the poles, then swing over to the posts. Use the posts to reach the suspended walkway and grab the Wrench

  13. Now that you have the Wrench, proceed back through the door to the bottom left of the stairs and head back outside.
  14. Follow the walkway past the turn for the Sundial, and head all the way to the end and you will see a Fence with some pipes and machinery. Head through the gate and head over to the Control Panel, and use the Wrench on the small pipe by the control panel to turn on the water.
  15. Now that the water is on head out of the fence and to the fountain in front of you and use the Empty Bucket to gain a Bucket of Water.
  16. Now head back inside to the Fireplace and use the Bucket of Water to put out the flames and grab the Arrow from the secret compartment behind the fire that we opened earlier.
  17. Now, head through the door to the Right of the fireplace, then follow this passage to the room that is under construction. When you enter the room, immediately turn right and use your grapple to pull down the post on the statue. Now turn back to the middle and you will see a red trash bin a little to your left. Grab that and drag it back towards the entrance until it is between the two upper walkways to your right and left. If you look up, the pole that sticks up from it should be inbetween them. Now head towards the back of the room and shoot the target that is holding down the wooden plank in front of you.
  18. Climb the crate steps in the back right , then turn and jump to the pole between the wall and scaffolding. Jump from the pole to the ledge, then follow this path all the way to the area of the room above the entrance.
  19. In this area, you will find another trash bin. Grab it and drag it over to the other side of the room and at the top of the "X" on the floor you will see an indentation. Place it in the indentation, then turn the trash bin until the pole stick out matches the line for the "X" below it. Now grab the statue and turn him so his spear matches the "X" as well, which will open a secret target in the middle of the wall.
  20. Shoot the target to open the first gate in the Underwater Passage, then turn right and head to the right side wall and you will see a rope with a target. Shoot this to free one of the ropes from the hanging statue in the middle of the room.
  21. Now jump down and then back up the crates in the back of the room, and this time when you get to the last edge before jumping to the statues pole we used the grapple on, backjump to the upper walkway. use the pole in the trash bin to make it over to the other side of the room, then use the grapple to make it towards the back left corner. Look to the right and you will see a movable crate. ignore this for now. Once there, use your grapple on the Atlas statue and he will drop the Earth which rolls into the indentation on the floor unlocking the second gate in the Underwater Passage. From facing the Atlas statue, turn right and jump over the crates to shoot the second tie for the hanging statue. Now head back to movable crate, and jump onto the wooden plank you freed from its tie earlier. Let the ramp start to rise, then run up it and jump to the ledge on the scaffolding. Timing is very important on this, if the plank gets too high you will slide off and have to climb back up. Follow this path until you can back jump onto ledge on the right side of the room. Up here you will find the last tie for the hanging statue and shooting it knocks it through the floor into the water.
  22. Jump in the water and grab the Bow, then swim through the tunnel, pulling the lever to open the water valves and the pool will fill in the Training Room. Swim into the Training Room and out of the water. At this point you need about 2:30 minutes left or so.
  23. Head back to the fountain in the Maze and climb up to the statue in the middle. On the left side, place the Arrow and on the right side, place the Bow. Then jump back down and pull the Lever and the statue will shoot the statue in front of him with the Arrow making him drop the Music Box Cylinder.
  24. Grab the Cylinder, and head back to the Main Room of the Manor. Head up the stairs, and to the Right Wing and head into the second door on your left. head to the end of the hallway and place the Music Box Cylinder in the hole by the door which unlocks the door. Head through the door to complete Croft Manor

Dressed to Kill
Unlock all the outfits

The outfits will unlock as you progress through the game and finish chapters. Now I'm not sure if collecting Relics and Artifacts play a part in the Outfits unlocking, but if you get all the collectibles on your first playthrough you are going to unlock this trophy as I did on the The Lost Island chapter at the end of The Great Pyramid level. If anyone can confirm that you will still unlock all outfits without all collectibles let me know so I can update this. You can view your unlocked outfits by clicking Rewards from the Home Screen, then click Outfits. The outfits don't unlock in order so if you are looking at them don't assume you missed one because of a gap. The Unlockable outfits in order of the menu are:
  • Anniversary
  • Legend
  • Doppleganger
  • Camouflage
  • Golden
  • Croft Manor Sport
  • Classic
  • Wetsuit
  • Catsuit
  • Scorched Natla

Tough Enough
Complete the game on Hard difficulty

Hard Mode, unlike other n00bish games, is available from the start of this game. They were very kind to not force you to play an entire playthrough on Medium to unlock it. From the Main Menu select New Game and then press either the or the on the difficulty to select the Hard Mode then start your game.

There is nothing difficult about Hard Mode. The enemies can take off a decent amount of damage when they attack you, but there are plenty of Small and Large Health packs in every level and the amount of ammo you get on the game isn't changed for the higher difficulty. Try and use your Adrenaline Shots on all the enemies you encounter, and you will most likely take very little damage for the entire game. This will also allow you to save up plenty of Health Packs for the boss battles. In addition to the high number of Health packs, the game also has a very generous amount of Checkpoints. You will most likely die more from Lara jumping into nowhere like a n00b, than you will from the enemies. Once you have finished the game on Hard Mode you will receive this trophy.

This trophy is stackable with the Sweet Victory trophy.
