Complete Chapter 1.
Simply complete chapter 1 on any difficulty. This is only 1 mission, and all you have to do is play against Jester. As far as I remember, you don't even have to win. Just finish it. However, if you are playing on casual (which I would suggest since there is no purpose to playing Insane here), defeating Jester should be a piece of cake.
Complete Chapter 2.
Simply complete chapter 2 on any difficulty. See Just Business trophy guide below for more information.
Does Not Compute
Complete Chapter 3.
Simply complete chapter 3 on any difficulty. See Bag of Bolts trophy guide below for more information.
Not in Kansas Anymore
Complete Chapter 4.
Simply complete chapter 4 on any difficulty. See Open War trophy guide below for more information.
I'm Not on a Holy War
Defeat Akasha and complete the campaign.
Simply defeat Akasha on any difficulty. See Fear the Reaper trophy guide below for more information.
Complete Chapter 2 in Insane.
Complete Chapter 2 in the Insane difficulty. Again, you only have to play the last mission of the chapter in Insane mode to get this trophy. The best and easiest route appears to be playing through the missions in this way:
Shangri La -> Reflection -> Sinkhole -> Market District -> Tank Crossing -> Kargo -> Torlan Delta -> Hydrosis -> Serenity -> Suspense -> Downtown -> Diesel -> Kargo -> Serenity
This way you bypass a few unbalanced matches where you are playing down a couple people, plus the difficult end mission of Torlan Delta (which is the one I got stuck with). If you do take one of the mission paths that end in Torlan, good luck. The only thing I can say is capture the prime and center nodes as fast as humanly possible, then once you have that taken care of, you are gonna want to camp the center node with the Leviathan and hang on for dear life. If you can manage to keep those 2 captured for the entire match you will be leading in node captures when overtime rolls around, and your opponent's core will destruct faster than yours, ending in a difficult yet satisfying win for you. If you do follow this mission path, you should have a much easier time on Serenity, but it's not a cake walk by any means. Again you want to get the Leviathan as quick as possible by capturing the Mine Node and holding it for 60 seconds. I would also suggest using the Tactical Diversion card, since this match starts as a 5-on-4 in favor of your opponents. Having one more player than them can make all the difference. Once you get the Leviathan, go take out the enemy prime node, as your team *should have* been able to keep control of your prime node while you were getting the Leviathan. Once that is taken care of, you shouldn't have much trouble destroying the enemy core. If they get to your core early, don't worry. I helped a few friends out and we went down to 46% on our core, then came back and won without losing anymore. Lastly, make sure that you or another human (if you're playing coop) grab the Leviathan and not an AI friendly. I had trouble getting them to actually drive the thing out of the woods once they got in it, and they even got it stuck, meaning all I could do with it was camp the mine node and destroy it and enemies as they came through. It worked, but it's not ideal.
Bag of Bolts
Complete Chapter 3 in Insane.
Complete Chapter 3 in the Insane difficulty. Again, you only have to play the last mission of the chapter in Insane mode to get this trophy. Chapter 3 has a very complicated mission path tree... The best route, however, appears to be playing through the missions in this way:
Arsenal -> Dusk -> Power Surge -> Heat Ray -> Coret -> Carbon Fire -> Islander/Containment -> Strident -> Heat Ray
Islander and Containment can be played in either order, since you are required to play both. Before the last Heatray you have an optional mission in Gateway. Unless you are trying to unlock all characters and you haven't unlocked the character Matrix yet, I would suggest passing the mission. When playing Heatray the second time around, you will want to set the mission difficulty to Insane. When you start, don't even try to get any kills. Immediately find a good hiding spot. The best spot for me was on top of the building where the Armor Vest is, as the opposing team tended not to go up there unless they knew you were there. If you wait for about 3 minutes, you will see a ship bring in a DarkWalker. As fast as you can, run directly to the port where the DarkWalker gets dropped off at. Once the DarkWalker appears, get in it. If the blue team beats you to it, you might as well restart the mission. Now once you have the DarkWalker, just start mowing them down, and you should easily pick up the win, the Does Not Compute trophy, and the Bag of Bolts Trophy.
Complete Chapter 4 in Insane.
Complete Chapter 4 in the Insane difficulty. Again, you only have to play the last mission of the chapter in Insane mode to get this trophy
. The best and easiest route appears to be playing through the missions in this way:
Islander -> Market District -> Shangri La -> Corruption -> Suspense -> BioHazard -> Onyx Coast -> Avalanche -> Deimos
Deimos is difficult, but not nearly as bad as some of the possible insane matches from chapter 3 (Torlan Delta for example). If possible I would try to get a friend's help on this one, and have both of you go straight to the turret. Have one of you man the turret and the other watch the portal in case somebody tries to come in and kill you both. With a two man army at the turret you should be able to knock off a bunch of kills and tip the scale in your favor. Otherwise, just play a straight up deathmatch and do your best not to die
. Your teammates seem to be less of an annoyance than usual on this map and don't seem to die as easily as they did back in Chapter 3 playing Heat Ray in Insane, but maybe that's just me.
Fear the Reaper
Defeat Akasha and complete the campaign in Insane.
Complete Chapter 5 in the Insane difficulty. Again, you only have to play the last mission of the chapter in Insane mode to get this trophy. The mission tree for Chapter 5 has no branches, but here is the path anyway:
Omicron Dawn -> Sandstorm -> Sanctuary/Fearless -> Necropolis -> Vertebrae -> Floodgate -> Sentinel
Sanctuary and Fearless can be played in either order, cuz you'll have to play both anyway. Upon finishing Floodgate, you will be sent directly into the match against Akasha. You will have to quit to change the difficulty to insane. With that being said...
AKASHA IS A BITCH! If you are really really good at this game you might not have a problem with her flying solo, but I have a feeling most people will have trouble with her. It is highly recommended that you get at least one friend to join you, more than one if possible. Akasha really likes the UDamage, so if you can get a couple friends and camp the UDamage watching all directions, you should be able to pick her off as she comes for it every time, especially since she tends to get that before getting weapons a lot of times. Also, another thing I recommend doing is having friends join and then exit, as this makes a bot take their place. When I played Akasha, a couple people joined up with me and a friend, but they decided to leave. The match ended up being my friend and I paired with 2 bots versus Akasha. It appears, at least to me, that Akasha has trouble killing the bots. They seem to last MUCH longer than you do in face to face combat against her. So if you can get a couple bots in the room you should greatly increase your chances of winning. No matter if you have help or not, do everything in your power to keep Akasha from getting any of the powerups: UDamage, Shield Belt, Armor Vest. Especially the Shield Belt and UDamage. If she gets either of those you are basically giving her like 5 kills. If she gets both you might as well restart.
I Need Some Backup
Complete 1 mission in co-op.
Simply complete 1 mission in campaign mode in either offline or online co-op. If you haven't completed it by the time you get to Akasha at the end of Chapter 5, I would suggest playing co-op against her, as you will get 3 trophies when you beat her: I Need Some Backup, I'm Not on a Holy War, Thanks to All the Little People.
Got Your Back
Complete 10 missions in co-op.
Simply complete 10 missions in campaign mode in either offline or online co-op. This is definitely easier if you can play with friends, as it is usually easier to figure out a game plan and stick to it to complete these missions quickly. Playing online with random people can be frustrating because some of them simply don't know what they're doing, and it can cause you to spend more time than necessary on this trophy. If you are going to play with randoms, I suggest finding people playing on the earlier missions, like Act II missions, because they tend to be easier and quicker to complete.
Thanks to All the Little People
Complete a campaign in co-op.
To get this trophy, you only have to beat the very last mission of the campaign in co-op mode, which is defeating Akasha. I would suggest using some help on the insane trophies if needed. But if you do not, simply have a friend join you to beat Akasha in Insane mode, and you will get double the trophies from one mission win. Also, if you haven't gotten the I Need Some Backup trophy yet, you will get it for completing this.
I See How It Is
Complete an Instant Action match in every game mode.
Simply start up an instant action match and play to completion in each of the game modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Vehicle Capture the Flag, Warfare, and Duel. You do not have to win to get this trophy, only complete the match.
Reach 20 kills against a god-like bot in instant action without dying.
There have been a couple of people that have come out with suggestions on the easiest way to complete this. The easiest one I found was this:
Start an instant action match against a godlike bot in the map Deimos, with a mutator of the impact hammer on, and set the kill count to 20, time limit to 60. Now immediately when the match starts run to the teleporter and get in the turret. Now just search for the bot and mow him down. Be careful as he likes to get the redeemer and shoot it towards you. However, since the redeemer moves at a slow pace you should be able to see it coming and shoot it down. If you die, just restart and try again. For the most part the bot won't even try to come up through the teleporter to you, he will usually try to kinda hide til he gets the redeemer and then shoot it at you. This was the easiest way for me, I got it first try.
Like the Back of My Hand
Collect every power up on every map.
Exactly what is says, you need to collect every powerup on every map. This should only be for pre-Titan Pack maps however. You can find your progress in the Community->Trophies section from your Main Menu. This link has a compiled list of all the powerups on every map. However, this includes the XBOX360 exclusive maps that didn't come out for PS3 until the Bonus Map pack and Titan pack.
Like the Back of My Hand Guide
Also I posted this in a new post on page 2 but am adding it into the guide as well... I just recently found a link that has overhead map images of all the Warfare and VCTF maps and the locations of all pickups on those maps. If you use these in conjunction with the link above you should complete Warfare and VCTF extremely quickly.
Warfare and VCTF Key Guides
Here are some videos of somebody getting all the powerups for this trophy: Like the Back of My Hand Playlist
Spice of Life
Play a match with every mutator, using only 1 per match.
Simply play a match in any game mode (instant action, online or offline multiplayer) using a mutator, but only 1 mutator per match
. When setting up the match make sure you only have one mutator on or else it won't register. The mutators are listed below. I suggest playing all mutators in Deathmatch if they exist there first, and then playing the others in whichever mode they can be found in.
Get the "Head Hunter" award in 10 matches.
Get 15 kills in a match using the sniper rifle and getting headshots. Can be difficult to complete as you really have to be on target. Definitely play with novice bots for this one. Or pick up a second controller and have player 2 sit there while you pick him off. Do this 10 times to get the trophy.
Don't Taze Me Bro!
Get the "Combo King" award in 10 matches.
Get the "Combo King" award in 10 different matches. The combo king can be difficult at first, but once you get the hang of it, it comes fairly easily. To get Combo King, you must kill 15 enemies by way of the shock combo from the shock rifle. This is achieved by firing the Shock Rifle's alternate fire, which is a giant blue/purple orb, towards an enemy. Once the orb gets close to them, you want to shoot the orb with the primary fire of the shock rifle. This will blow the orb up and act as a kind of black hole, sucking the enemy in and shredding them to pieces. You will know if you hit the combo correctly as the enemy's body parts will go flying everywhere. If the enemy's body is still in tact, you missed the combo.
Get the "Biohazard" award in 10 matches.
Get 15 kills in a match with the bio rifle to be awarded with the "Biohazard" award. Do this 10 times to get the trophy. If you are using the weapon replacement mutator strategy to complete your weapon trophies, you are SOL here. The bio rifle cannot be mutated in through that method. You must simply find a map that has this weapon in it and kill to your heart's content. I had an easy time of it playing Reflection, getting the flag and standing under the bridge that houses the flag, waiting for enemies to appear. There is a bio rifle that spawns right there so when you are running low on ammo you can pick it right back up.
Get the "Gun Slinger" award in 10 matches.
Get 15 kills in a match with the enforcer to be awarded with the "Gun Slinger" award. Do this 10 times to get the trophy.
Get the "Blue Streak" award in 10 matches.
Get 15 kills in a match with the stinger minigun to be awarded with the "Blue Streak" award. Do this 10 times to get the trophy.
Get the "JackHammer" award in 10 matches.
Get 15 kills in a match with the impact hammer to be awarded with the "JackHammer" award. Do this 10 times to get the trophy. I would suggest using the weapon replacement mutator for this one so that your opponents don't have weapons to shoot at you, and can only use the impact hammer themselves. It makes life a lot easier when trying to get this trophy.
Get the "Shaft Master" award in 10 matches.
Must get 15 kills in a match using the alternate fire of the link gun. You cannot use the primary fire at all to help on the kill. If you do, it will not count.
Have A Nice Day
Get the "Rocket Scientist" award in 10 matches and "Flak Master" award in 10 matches.
A 2-in-1 here, you have to get "Rocket Scientist" in 10 different matches and "Flak Master" in 10 different matches. These CAN be achieved in the same match, so I would suggest doing so since they tend to be the easiest to complete. Rocket Scientist is 15 kills with the rocket launcher, and Flak Master is 15 kills with the flak cannon.
Big Game Hunter
Get the "Big Game Hunter" award in 10 matches.
Get 15 kills in a match with the longbow avril to be awarded with the "Big Game Hunter" award. Do this 10 times to get the trophy. If you are using the weapon replacement mutator strategy to complete your weapon trophies, you are SOL here. The longbow avril cannot be mutated in through that method. You must simply find a map that has this weapon in it and kill to your heart's content. I found Serenity to be a good one, as it has many about 4 different longbow pickups in it as opposed to some maps with only 2.
Get the "Roadkill" award in 10 matches.
Run over an enemy with a vehicle in 10 different matches to get this trophy. Basically any Warfare or VCTF match will do the trick, get a vehicle and start running over enemies.
Jack of All Trades
Kill an enemy with every vehicle (except hoverboard).
You must kill an enemy with every vehicle, excluding the hoverboard, to achieve this trophy. Running over enemies doesn't count
. It must be a kill with one of the vehicles weapons. All of the vehicles and their locations are listed here
Get the "Top Gun" award in 20 matches.
Shoot down an enemy flying vehicle with another flying vehicle. I don't believe vehicles like the Manta work for this because I've shot down an enemy Manta while in a Manta and not gotten credit for it. I would use the Raptor, of which you can find 2 in Suspense.
Get "Bullseye" (self-destruct to destroy an enemy) award in 20 matches.
To do the self-destruct, you need a Viper. Can be found in a bunch of different VCTF maps, I tend to do Sandstorm cuz it's fun. Either way, once you get in a Viper, you need to find an enemy, doesn't matter if they are on foot or in a vehicle, although the vehicle targets are larger and usually easier to hit. Now, if you hold the
button, the viper will rise and open its wings. Once this occurs, aim the crosshairs that appear at the enemy, and press
. You will exit the Viper and it will go spinning towards the enemy. If you score a hit and the enemy dies, you have gotten Bullseye for that match. You must do this in 20 different matches to achieve this trophy.
Have over 20 minutes of "Berserk Time".
Get 20 minutes overall of "Berserk" time. Start a VCTF match in Sandstorm with time/capture limits set so that nobody will be able to win the match before you want them to
. Then get the Viper, and go up to the top of the hill. There is a tall building to the left. On top of it is the berserk powerup. The opposing team has one on their side as well. I suggest landing on top of that building, getting the berserk powerup, and then going to the other side and getting it there as well, after that, simply go back and forth as the powerups reappear and keep picking them up until you get your trophy. Berserk powerups take approximately 90 seconds to respawn.
Maps that contain Berserk:
Never Saw It Coming
Have over 20 minutes of "Invisibility Time".
Get 20 minutes overall of "Invisibility" time. I would suggest, if you haven't already, download the Titan pack so you have the map Searchlight, and then use the x2 invisibility in that map to achieve this trophy faster. Invisibility powerups take approximately 90 seconds to respawn.
Maps that contain Invisibility:
Survival Of The Fittest
Have over 10 minutes of "Invulnerable Time".
From what I've seen, the only map this powerup exists on is Fearless. You will have to start a match in Fearless and simply wait out the powerup everytime. Get the powerup, wait for it to reappear, get it again. Each powerup pickup is 30 seconds, so you will have to pick it up 20 times to get this trophy. Theoretically you can just stand on the powerup spot and walk away, because when you have the powerup you can't be killed, and when you don't the bots don't go for it (assuming you're playing novice bots anyway). Invulnerable powerups take approximately 2 minutes to respawn.
Maps that contain Invulnerable:
Delivering the Hurt
Have over 20 minutes of "UDamage Time".
Get 20 minutes overall of "UDamage" time. Start a VCTF match in Suspense with time/capture limits set so that nobody will be able to win the match before you want them to
. Either get the Raptor or go to the back of your team's base where the cables start that run up to the top of the bridge. Get up there. Once up, there will be a UDamage powerup on both team's side of the bridge, at the top. It doesn't appear immediately when the match starts, you'll have to wait a minute or two. Once they appear, start running back and forth, getting both of the powerups as they appear. Continue this until you get your trophy. UDamage powerups take approximately 90 seconds to respawn.
Maps that contain UDamage:
Achieve a Hat Trick in 10 CTF or VCTF matches.
Get a Hat Trick (3 flag captures) in 10 different matches, can be either CTF or VCTF. Easiest/quickest way is to set up CTF against 1 novice bot on a map of your choice. Once the match starts, just get 3 captures, and that's 1 Hat Trick. Play 9 more times and you have the trophy.
Being A Hero
Return 100 Orbs in Warfare matches.
"Returning" an orb means to go up to a dropped oppenent's orb in a Warfare match and press the Square button to destroy it and return it to their base. This must be done 100 times to get the trophy. However, this can be done more than once per match, so any chance you get, if you see an opponent's orb laying around, destroy it. Also, to do this a little faster, get a friend and play 1v1 against each other in a private match. Both of you pick up your orbs and run up to each other. Press the down arrow to fake death and drop your orb. Now destroy the opponents orb. 1 destruction down. Now simply continue this trend until you get the trophy pop-up.
Complete 100 CTF matches played to at least 3 captures.
You must play CTF to at least 3 captures and complete the match. If time runs out and 3 captures has not been reached by either team, that match will not count towards your total. I found the quickest way to do this was to set up a private match with 2 players against a godlike bots, with limits of 5 minutes and 3 captures on the map Reflection. This will pit you 1v2 against godlike bots. Now once the match starts, you can just leave the system alone and go do something else. The bot can get 3 captures on Reflection in about 2.5-3 minutes. When playing online the matches also automatically restart once completed. So if you leave it alone, this can complete on its own in 6-7 hours, or less if you already have completed some CTF matches to 3 captures. If you want it to finish any faster or you would rather play it yourself to get the credit, find a friend and play 1v2 against a novice bot. Once the match is about to start have your switch sides so that you and your friend are paired up 2v1 against the bot. Now both of you run to your opponent's base. Whomever gets the flag first, return it while the other player stays behind. As soon as the first player gets the capture, player 2 start to return the flag as player one return to the opponent's base. Do this once more and you will have 3 captures, and hopefully, if the bot cooperated, in a fairly quick time. Continue to do this until you get your trophy. Also add in the Speed Freak mutator as this should probably halve the time the matches take to complete.
30 Minutes Or Less
Complete 100 VCTF matches played to at least 3 captures.
You must play CTF to at least 3 captures and complete the match. If time runs out and 3 captures has not been reached by either team, that match will not count towards your total. I tried the trick used above for CTF again in VCTF, but it appears that the bots you are playing against get stuck and never get even one capture, resulting in your PS3 staying on for a long period of time for absolutely no purpose (4 hours in my case, I came back from work and had no progress ). So I don't think there's much you can do here, you just have to play 100 VCTF matches and get 3 captures. If you have a second controller I suggest using that so you can get the captures without any bot interruption. Otherwise just play against a novice bot. 4/7/2009 - Ok so I found a VCTF map that works with the trick above. You can play against a godlike bot on the map Sandstorm and let the bot get 3 caps. It takes about 7-8 minutes per match because the bots like to get in vehicles to come over to your side, which takes extra time. The tendency is to get the Darkwalker first which takes the longest. Each capture seemed to take a shorter amount of time. Anyway, if you set it up against just one godlike bot in an online multiplayer match (since multiplayer matches don't need to wait for you to press the fire button to start) in the map Sandstorm, you can walk away and let it finish on its own. Also add in the Speed Freak mutator as this should probably halve the time the matches take to complete.
I've gotten multiple messages saying that Sandstorm isn't fully working for some... English_Para found one that worked for him, the map Corruption... if Sandstorm isn't working, give Corruption a try... thanks EP!
Paint the Town Red
Complete 100 Deathmatch or Duel matches played to at least 20 kills.
You must play Deathmatch or Duel to at least 20 kills and complete the match. If time runs out and 20 kills has not been reached by either team, that match will not count towards your total. The quickest way is to set up a Duel to 20 kills against a godlike bot in the Morbias Arena, since it is a small map. Either leave the weapons the way they are or set a replacement mutator to the instagib rifle. It appears it works the same with either that or rocket launchers, but there might be a slight difference. Now just walk away and let the bot annihilate you for 100 matches. It should end pretty quickly since there's nowhere to go really in that map. Also add in the Speed Freak mutator as this should probably halve the time the matches take to complete. Also, instead of setting it against just one godlike bot, make it a full 16 player field. The 16 godlike bots make the match end hella quick, allowing for this trophy to come to you in less than 2 hours.
Connect The Dots
Complete 100 Warfare matches played to at least 3 points.
You must play Warfare to at least 3 points and complete the match. This takes a WHILE, because even if you get a flawless victory the first round, you still have to play a second round to get the 3 points, and if you don't get a flawless victory at all then it takes 3 rounds of Warfare play just to get credit once towards this trophy. I haven't tried the 1v1 against a godlike bot trick for warfare yet, so I can't tell you if it hits a glitch or not. Even if it does work it's going to take a long time to complete because the bot has to win in 2 rounds, which could easily take 5-10, maybe even 15 minutes. My suggestion is to get a friend and play 1v2 with a novice bot in a private match. Before the match starts have your friend or yourself (whomever is on the team with the bot) switch teams so it is 2v1 in your favor. The extra person should make the matches go a little faster. Now just move as fast as you can towards getting the opponent's core demolished. Hopefully you achieve Flawless Victory, as that means you only need to play 1 more round to get credit. Also add in the Speed Freak mutator as this should probably halve the time the matches take to complete.
Thanks to English_Para, he has found that playing 1v2 against godlike bots with the Speed Freak mutator in the map Market District is over in less than 2 minutes... thanks EP
Get the "Killing Spree" award in 20 matches.
Get the "Killing Spree" award in 20 different matches. To get a Killing Spree, you need to kill 5 opponents without dying. This one will come along with getting Monster Kill, so follow the method laid out below under Sir Slays-A-Lot to get both at the same time.
Get the "Monster Kill" award in 20 matches.
Get the "Monster Kill" award in 20 different matches. To get a Monster Kill, you must kill 6 people in a short time span. It must also be performed without dying in between kills. The exact time span is as follows:
- Double Kill - 2 people killed within 4 seconds.
- Multi Kill - 3rd person killed within 4 seconds of a Double Kill.
- Mega Kill - 4th person killed within 4 seconds of a Multi Kill.
- Ultra Kill - 5th person killed within 4 seconds of a Mega Kill.
- Monster Kill - 6th person killed within 4 seconds of a Ultra Kill. Any kills above 6 will register as Monster Kill.
I found the best way to achieve this is to play CTF against a full field of Novice bots. Get your weapon of choice (Rocket Launcher, Flak Cannon, and Stinger Minigun tend to work best here), and get full ammo for it if you can. Then go to the other team's base and get their flag. Do not return the flag
. Simply stay in the other team's base with flag in hand. Since they know you have it, they will be gunning for you. Just stand in a decent spot to see them coming at you, and mow them down. 6 kills should come pretty quickly. I found the best maps to do this on were Reflection and Coret. In Reflection, I stood underneath of the platform that the flag started on, since you also have health packs there in case health gets low. In Coret, the best place seemed to be in the curved corridor just outside of the flag room. All opponents come through to you at a rapid pace, so you shouldn't have a problem getting a Monster Kill.
End sprees in 20 matches.
End a killing spree of any player (including yourself!) in 20 different matches. The best way to do this is probably to get your own killing spree, and then kill yourself in whatever your most favorite method happens to be. Mine was to get a rocket launcher and stand near a wall and just keep shooting at the wall until I died.
Off to a Good Start
Get the "First Blood" award in 40 matches.
Be the first person to get a kill in 40 different matches. Easiest to do if you are playing 1v1 against a novice bot, since they are easy to kill and nobody else has a chance to kill them first (unless the bot manages to kill themself ).
Let's Get It On
Complete a multiplayer match in every game type.
Simply play a multiplayer match to completion in each of the game modes: Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Vehicle Capture the Flag, Warfare, and Duel. You do not have to win to get this trophy, only complete the match.
Around the World
Win a multiplayer match on every map.
Not much you can do about this one, you just have to play, and win, on every map (pre-Titan Pack). Easiest to set up a private multiplayer server, and play by yourself against novice bots. Should be fairly easy to win on every map. Will still take a little bit of time however, as there are 40 maps that count towards this.
Get a Life
Get 200 kills in multiplayer on 50 different days.
This one will take quite a while to complete. If you really, really, really want it, I've heard you can just change your system date and get 200 kills 50 times to complete this. That seems like too much of a hassle for me. So all I do is whenever I get the chance to play is just set up a password protected server against novice bots and play until I get 200 kills. I will just spread it out and eventually hit 50 days full of 200 kills. Also, if you are able to play around the crossover to midnight on any given night, you can get 2 days quickly by playing and getting 200 kills before midnight, 200 kills after midnight. This is easiest for me since I can't play every night, so I play every 2 nights and try to play through midnight to get 2 days that way.
The quickest way I have found to actually get the 200 kills for a day has been to set up a deathmatch against 16 novice bots, set super berserk on, set the map to either Rising Sun or Morbias Arena, set the kill count to 100, and kill to your heart's content. You should be able to complete to matches to 100 kills in less than 10 minutes this way. Then if you wish you can change the date on your PS3 and repeat. If not just wait until the next day and do it again. Either way it is pretty quick to do, even if you do have to do it 50 times...
Win 500 online matches.
Just win 500 online matches. It will take a while, but it will come with time. I have a few different ways of getting this done, listed below:
- A quick way is to set up a private match 1v1 against a novice bot in duel. Set the time limit to 5 minutes and the kills as low as possible (I think 5 is the lowest). Now just kill the bot 5 times and you're done. Only problem is you have to do it 499 more times after that. Ugh. You will get credit for wins if you are just a normal player playing online, so you might as well do that so as to not get bored. Also while trying to achieve the Flag Waver, 30 Minutes Or Less, Paint the Town Red, Connect The Dots, and Get A Life trophies, if you play those in private matches and win they will add to your total as well. As I said, it will come in time, so just keep at it.
- Another way is to set up a private match 1v1 against a novice bot in CTF in the map Reflection. Make sure it is set to only 1 capture, and the time limit doesn't really matter. Also make sure you have the Speed Freak mutator on so that you can run a lot faster. You should be able to get 1 capture in about 30 seconds, maybe a little more. If you continue to do this over and over you can rack up wins pretty quickly. It does get boring though. For a lot of wins without doing any work, try out #3.
- From English_Para, he found a quick way to get some wins without doing them on your own was to set up a team deathmatch in Rising Sun against a full field of godlike bots, and make sure force respawn is off. This way you can only die once and you won't hurt your team. Now you can walk away, and your team should be able to pull out some wins without you. EP said he got 10 wins in 20 minutes, which isn't bad considering you don't have to do any work. This should help to make this trophy come to you faster. Thanks again EP.
