Complete the game in Rorschach mode.
Complete the game in single-player while playing as Rorschach. Easy enough. Awarded during the final cutscene. You should go for the
Thief trophy at the same time.
Complete the game in Nite Owl mode.

Complete the game in co-op mode.
A beautiful gold, and a very simple trophy. Complete the game with a partner sitting on the couch next to you – there’s no online co-op, which is pretty dumb, but hey. Good time for bonding, right?
Find all abilities and pick-ups in Rorschach mode.
Nab all of Rorschach’s pick-ups for a not-so-quick ‘n’ dirty silver:
1/5 - Prison entrance.
2/5 - Right after the generator
3/5 - There are some stares just before Cell Block C.
4/5 - In the doorway to rehab.
5/5 - In the second level room's doorway.
1/1 - This is below the second set of levers. Instead of going left up the stairs, approach the chicken wire on the right. It'll prompt you to pick a lock, also giving you a handy tutorial on how to do so. Grab your first card!
1/3 - Impossible to miss. In your path.
2/3 - Beat the first enemies, and you'll come to both an open and a closed gate. Pick the lock on the closed one, and step inside for the card (right) and ability (left).
3/3 - In you path after you split from Nite Owl. Impossible to miss.
1/2 - Beat the first enemies, and you'll come to both an open and a closed gate. Pick the lock on the closed one, and step inside for the card (right) and ability (left).
2/2 - End of the level, you'll come to a rooftop with barbed wire. Rorschach'll say, "Almost at the Rum Runner." DO NOT jump down until you grab the card slowly revolving in the middle of the roof.
1/3 - Can't miss, in your path.
2/3 - You'll have to shimmy up a pole (after the crane) to open a door for Nite Owl. You two will fight some enemies, but before you go through the door on your right, nab the card behind the boxes at the walkway's very end.
3/3 - You'll climb another pipe to get inside a warehouse. Once inside, you'll drop to a ledge while on your way to the ground. Grab the ability resting on the ledge.
1/2 - After the first fight, before you go down into the drydock, pick the lock in the right corner. May take a few tries, it's a doozy.
2/2 - Nite Owl will open a door for you, and you'll beat the enemies inside. When he grapples up to go outside and open the door for you, run out into the fenced area. The card's in the right-hand corner.
1/1 - You'll be ambushed in a huge room filled with pillars, after which you'll have to climb a pole. Go through the open door and through the curved tunnel. Instead of going right into the green room just yet, go left into the closed tunnels. There is an ability in there.
1/2 - Just at the top of the pole mentioned above.
2/2 - Once the two waves of enemies are done in the green room, choose the left hand side when Nite Owl offers you the choice. Fight your way through the men and you will see a gate on your left. The hardest one to manage, so good luck!
1/1 - After the first fight, look for a really long alleyway branching from the starting point. The ability will be at the end.
1/3 - After you two split up again, you'll kill some mean cops by their patrol car. There will be a pole on your right - climb the pole for the card at the top.
2/3 - When you and Nite Owl find each other again, you'll see a chopper, and have to fight some baddies. You'll come to a gap in the buildings - don't jump yet, turn around and go to the edge of the building. It is by three smoke stacks.
3/3 - You and Owl will split again, and you'll make your way to the ground. Turn to the right and navigate the short alleyway. The card is waiting.
Find all abilities and pick-ups in Nite Owl mode.
Nab all of Nite Owl’s pick-ups for a not-so-quick ‘n’ dirty silver:
1/5 - Prison entrance.
2/5 - Right after the generator.
3/5 - There are some stares just before Cell Block C.
4/5 - In the doorway to Rehab.
5/5 - In the second lever room's doorway.
1/1 - The first battery is when you enter the fiery room. Look up at the doorway, and it will prompt you to grapple. Night vision will kick in, and from there it's a simple matter to follow the (long) catwalks to the battery.
1/3 - An alley with a blue light just before you and Rorschach split.
2/3 - Soon after, you'll fight a few baddies. Kick their asses, and then look under the small stairway to your left.
3/3 - When you and Rorschach find each other again, some nasties will attack you. Defeat them, and defeat the second group that assaults you from the garage. This ability is inside the garage.
1/2 - First thing in the level, you'll fight a big guy. Now look around for a neon "Way Up" sign. Once you've grappled up, night vision will kick in. Climb the ladder you see - the battery waits at the top.
2/2 - At one point, as you go through the main story, night vision will engage on its own. Across from you at this point, on the rooftop, there is a battery.
1/3 - Before going down into the drydock, check behind a shipping crate on the left.
2/3 - Next to the level you pull on the crane.
3/3 - This one's in your path near the end of the level. Impossible to miss.
1/2 - At one point you'll come to a warehouse where you'll have to grapple up to go outside (behind said warehouse) and open a door for Rorschach. While at the switch outside, look up for two fans. Grapple up to nab the battery.
2/2 - At the end of the level, the gate will open to continue on. Don't go through - instead, go back to where you came (past the scaffolding) until you see a "Way Up" sign. Grapple up to the battery.
1/1 - You'll be running toward a door in the beginning that Rorschach needs you to lift for him. The ability is in one of the smaller tunnels on the right.
1/2 - You'll come to a part where you'll grapple up inside of a metal silo. Night vision will kick in, and you'll exit into a small tunnel. On the right, tucked away and difficult to see, is the ability.
2/2 - In the next room, turn left. Go all the way to the end of the small alcove and you will find it.
1/1 - During your first reunion with Rorschach, a police chopper will come to spoil your fun. Immediately, you'll drop down a ladder. Head to the right side of the landing roof, all the way in the far right corner. The ability is hidden behind a staircase (noting a theme?).
1/3 - After dropping from the roofs at one point, you'll find three cops facing away from you. Don't fight them yet, instead go down the alley on your left. At the end will be a grapple. Grapple up, then turn around and grapple across to the second building. The ability will be near the water tower.
2/3 - Once you've fought the cops below, you will come to a grapple right in front of you. Don't take it yet - instead turn and take the sneakily hidden grapple to your left and nab the second-to-last battery - almost there!
3/3 - You and Rorschach will split up again (of course). Once this happens, you'll climb a ladder. Night vision will once more flicker on, at which point turn immediately left. You should see the revolving, turd-shaped cylinder on the ground.
Go unharmed for an entire level, without restarting from a checkpoint.
While this may sound hard, it’s actually quite easy. There are two ways to knock out this trophy (both are easiest done on the first level):
1) While doing co-op, make sure you are Controller 1 (only Controller 1 trophies unlock, as stated before). Now, sit back and have your partner plow through all the enemies while you hold
to block any attacks. Just watch out for the fiery parts of the level, as those will still hurt you.
2) Basically the same as up top. Just allow your AI partner to go to town on each group of enemies while you hold
At the end of the level, you should hear the oh-so-glorious DING!
Complete the game in less than 80 minutes, in one session without restarting from a checkpoint.
Seemingly glitched in your favor – I timed myself, and it came out at 90 or so minutes. I don’t know if cinematics and cutscenes don’t count, or if it’s genuinely glitched. In either case, here are the best tips I can offer:
This is best done with the fully upgraded Nite Owl suit. Save the enormous super blast for any enormous group of enemies you encounter, and utilize finishers as much as possible. Use the dodge move (
) and the counter attack (
at moment of enemy attack) at opportune moments. If your health dips below fifty percent, run around and dodge like mad until it hits seventy-five again.
The only real specific trouble spots are during the Underboss fights. Don’t worry about the goons when you initially chase him – you can go past them and it’ll be a breeze (save your über Owl-Blast for when a group won’t let you past). Only worry about them when Underboss jumps across to the piping at the building’s top and pulls out his flamethrower.
Eliminate 20 bad guys in 101 seconds.
Easy to do in the final portion of the Underboss fight. When he’s trying to kill you with his flamethrower, hang by one of the two edges where goons will spawn infinitely. Just beat the crap out of them, throwing them off the edges and utilizing Rage mode on Rorschach to great effect. May take you more than twenty enemies to get in a good rhythm, but you will get it eventually. It’s hard not to do.
Knock 100 people over, by throwing other people into them.
In the first two levels, spam the throwing move by pressing
. At later levels, they enemies are harder to pick up. Don’t worry if you don’t get this at the end of a play-through: all the “perform ‘x’ amount of ‘y’ moves” accumulate across all your play-throughs, even co-op ones if you’re Controller 1.
Perform 200 counter attacks.
Counter attacks are simple:
whenever an enemy attacks. For some reason, Nite Owl seems to be more efficient at doing this, so I’d recommend using him if you want to just spam this out. Again, all the “perform ‘x’ amount of ‘y’ moves” accumulate across all your play-throughs, even co-op ones if you’re Controller 1.
Perform 250 finishing moves.
Whenever you’ve beaten a fair amount of snot out of an enemy, a button prompt will appear above their head (a la God of War). When this happens, simply follow the prompts. When the enemy is motionless and bloody at your feet, congratulate yourself on a good finisher. Once more, all the “perform ‘x’ amount of ‘y’ moves” accumulate across all your play-throughs, even co-op ones if you’re Controller 1.
Dodge or block 25 incoming attacks.
Easiest trophy in the game. Whenever an enemy takes a swing at you, just dodge by pressing
(or blocking with
). Again, all the “perform ‘x’ amount of ‘y’ moves” accumulate across all your play-throughs, even co-op ones if you’re Controller 1, but if you don’t manage this by the end of your first play-through, you have no business earning trophies.
