[top]Tips & Strategies

Tips:
1.- You will see like 2-3 little bars on the top left of the screen, when you full the last bar, the last bar will dissapear, and when all the bars dissapear the weapon will be broken, so be carefull!
2.- Custom weapons are pretty cool! , but don't spent the time creating new weapons if you want to get the skill trophies faster, just try to use all the weapons you find and it will be ok!

[top]Cheats, Glitches, & Exploits

None as far as I know, there is like one "little cheat" to get really fast the 10,000 samurai points, I'll explain it on the Legendary Samurai trophy.

[top]Roadmap

I'm going to writte here wich playthroughs I'm doing, if anyone has any better ones, or any tip for the playthroughs, just make me know!

Vegetarian: first at all, here is the most boring, but necessary playthrough, you only need to eat a radish, then go to the map and select "Leave Amana", you'll get the vegetarian tittle and 490 samurai points.
Just keep doing this until you get the 10,000 samurai points, by this way you'll get the Samurai Leader, Samurai Hero, Legendary Samurai, Head Collector and Outfit Collector trophies.

All the non-story related trophies except tittles and skills (I recommend to do this on a different playthrough just to be sure that you accomplish all the recqueirments for the tittles and endings, because the minor change can take you to a different ending!)

Tittles, tittles everywhere: read the Title Master trophy for a detailed guide.

Skills: maybe the hardest one, you have to get ALL the skills available for EVERY weapons, read the Weapon Specialist trophy for a detailed guide.

Clean-up: congratulations!, you have all the other trophies, just do this playthorugh to get the few trophies you need to get more, if you need to get any other trophies.

Samurai Master
Cleared the game in Hard difficulty.

Complete the game on hard difficulty, it's not pretty hard, just go to the Ending guide, and take a look and choose the shorter and the less difficult ending in your opinion (I recommend to get this trophy and Samurai Slayer trophies on the 2 last playthroughs, then you'll know how to play, and you can complete it without problems).

[top]
Samurai Slayer
Cleared the game in Instant Kill difficulty.

Same as Samurai Master

[top]

Just go to a blacksmith with enough parts for a weapon (blade, guard, grip and pommel) and it's yours!
You can get the weapon parts from dead enemies or purchasing them at any blacksmith shop .

Note: The DLC weapon parts are in the game, but no on your bag, so you must get them from dead enemies too.

[top]
Ninja Dual Sword Stance Mastery
Mastered all skills of Ninja Dual Sword Stance.

As I said on Bare Hands Stance Mastery trophy, you can purchase Skill Scrolls after Day 5 on the Posting Station Weapons Merchant, unfortunatelly, the Stance Mastery trophies aren't as easy as the Bare Hands Stance Mastery trophy, so you need to keep purchasing scrolls until you get all the skills for that Stance, but you'll see that you'll need to learn 1-2 more skills depending on the weapon, that means that that each weapon has 1-2 unique skills, so you have to get ALL the weapon (see Weapon Specialist trophy for all the weapons location), and then, you have to keep using the weapon until you get all the skills for that weapon, and then repeat the procces for the 102 weapons that are available on this game.

[top]
Weapon Destroyer
Broke an opponent's weapon.

Just break an oponnents weapon, keep fighting with an enemy, and you'll get the trophy sooner or later.

Just spam guard, and he'll break him weapon sooner or later, or you can keep atacking him with a 5 durability weapon, then him weapon will be break easier, because him weapon durability will be lower than yours.

I get this trophy on Crossroads, on the mission were you must save a girl from a bandit group, it's pretty easy to get here because they are wearing only 1-2 durability weapons.

[top]
Blunt Attack
Defeated an opponent with a Blunt Attack.

Press select, and you'll see that your weapon is in non-lethal mode, that will allow you to K.O. the enemies, just get a K.O. and the trophy is yours!

A good place to get this trophy, is just at the begin, if you choose the dialog option #1 with the peasants, on takatane village, there's a girl to do a little combat tutorial, kill one of the two guys, and keep using the blunt atacks on the other, because he won't parry the atacks, and he won't atack you a lot.

[top]
Amana Native
Played more than 10 hours.

You'll get this trophy sooner or later while you're playing.

[top]
Forged Weapon
Forged a weapon for the first time.

Just go to a blacksmith, and forge a weapon.

It's really really expensive, defense and atack are the cheapest upgrades, so just buy one of this (500 yen only), and it'll be done
On the game you must need to get the highest durability you can on each weapon, so you can wait until you get the 2,000 yens for the durability.

[top]
Killer
Fist time killing an enemy.

Just kill an enemy.

[top]
Weapon Master
Mastered all skills for a weapon.

See Ninja Dual Sword Stance Mastery for the skills explanation and Weapon Specialist for a weapons location guide.

Mastered all skills for thirty weapons.

See Power of 100 trophy

[top]
Power of 100
Achieved 100 Chain Kills.

When you parry an atack, you have a chance to get the Glimpse of Death mode, that makes you kill all enemies on 1 hit by pressing the buttons that appear on the screen, you just have to keep pressing them until you get 100 kills, on the last part of mostly of the ends, you have to keep fighting enemies until you reach a concret place, just try to get this trophy on that situations (you can pause the game to see with enough time wich button you have to press).

Here are some pretty good tips (thanks to jqtaxpayer!)

-The first designated button will always be the X button.
-The button image's motion corresponds to its location on the controller, e.g. when the X button is displayed, the image moves in a downward direction.
-Pausing the game immediately upon entering "Glimpse of Death" mode gives you more than enough time to see which button has been designated to continue your Chain Kill; unpause the game while spamming the indicated button to continue your chain.
-The hardest part of this trophy is finding the 100 enemies in the first place. Your best opportunity would be found in undertaking an elimination job for any of the job brokers, which are given after killing a member of the job broker's faction. Some of the climactic battles found within the game's storyline also feature unlimited spawning enemies.

[top]
Payday

See Job Seeker trophy.

[top]
Job Seeker
Completed 50 jobs successfully.

Complete 50 jobs, my tip is just get 1 job from any npc, then sleep and return to that npc to get another job, and keep doing that.
The jobs can be re-done, so maybe you do 30-40 times the same job.

I just did the jobs from the old woman near to your house on Takatane, her jobs are pretty easy to complete, they'll take you 5 min or less, but there's one job where you must kill 100 enemies on Guard Gate (a very good place to farm Power of 100 trophy!)

[top]
Relationship
Obtained a partner.

[top]
Extra Sword Safe
Obtained an extra Sword Safe.

You can buy 1 for 2000 yen, you can get it via samurai points or there was a free DLC on store that gives you some for free also.

[top]
Assassin
Defeated Shuzen Fujimori.

See Way of the Samurai trophy to check the endings, and to know wich ending may you choose to kill him.

[top]
Bushido
Defeated Sensei at the Dojo.

At Guard Post, on the east side, there's a big building, just go inside and defeat the guy on each floor to go to the sensei, then defeat it, and you're done!

If you use blunt atacks to defeat her when you win the combat with her, you'll get a golden egg, and if you kill her you'll get her sword (it's a pretty good weapon!), but just keep in your head that if you kill her, the other guys at the dojo will atack you, so you'll have to kill them too.

[top]
Title Collector
Obtained 5 titles.

[top]
Zero Kill
Killed an enemy using a weapon with zero durability.

Just kill an enemy with a broken weapon.

It won't be hard at all, just try to evade all the atacks and try to atack him as much as you can.

It will be easier on instant kill difficulty.

[top]
Zero Blunt Attack
Defeated an enemy with Blunt Attack using a weapon with zero durability.

Same as Zero Kill, but you'll need to use non-lethal atacks.

The easiest way is do it on instant kill difficulty.

[top]
Samurai Leader
Total Samurai Points exceeded 200 points.

See Legendary Samurai trophy.

[top]
Samurai Hero
Total Samurai Points exceeded 2000 points.

See Legendary Samurai trophy.

[top]
Legendary Samurai
Total Samurai Points exceeded 10000 points.

As I said on the Roadmap:

You need to eat a radish, then go to the map and select "Leave Amana", you'll get the vegetarian tittle and 490 samurai points.
Just keep doing this until you get the 10,000 samurai points.
