[top]Tips & Strategies

Some tips:
  • is sprint. And it is your friend.

  • The closer an enemy is, the more damage it will do to you.

  • Lure enemies out of their rooms and corners. The last thing you want to do is rush into a room and be surrounded on all sides.

  • Death will come on swift wings to those who let bosses into secret areas with them.

  • Save often. If you die you can load your save and it will put you right back where you were exactly when you saved, equipment and all.

  • Check those corners!

  • You do not have to play the secret 10th floors to receive any trophy in the game

  • I added key locations to the maps. If there is a key on the map, you need it to get to the exit door. If there is more than one key, you need both. (I didn't bother playing the 10th floors, so there are no key locations on the maps)

  • Game get boring? Turn down the music and put on some of your own. Make sure too keep the sound effects up though!

None Left Standing
Get 100% kills on any floor on Don't Hurt Me or harder

Kill all the enemies on any floor (and don't forget the dogs!) The easiest floor to do this on is the first one in episode one. I recommend doing this on the "I Am Death Incarnate" difficulty setting and in the same run, collect all the treasures and find all the secrets; that way you can get five trophies in one go. The following video has the locations of all the enemies, treasures, and secrets for the first floor on episode one.

Clean out the Castle
Get 100% of the treasure in any floor

Find all the treasures on any floor. The treasures include: crosses, chalices, chests, crowns, and extra life icons. I recommend doing this on the first floor in episode one while on the "I Am Death Incarnate" difficulty setting, while also killing all the enemies. That way you can get five trophies in one go. See the above video for all the treasure locations.

You Are Death Incarnate
Complete one floor on "I Am Death Incarnate"

Complete any floor on the hardest difficulty. I recommend doing this on the first floor of episode one while collecting all the treasures and finding all the secrets, that was you get five trophies in one go. If you are having trouble with a certain room, walk to the edge of the entrance of that room, then back away. Any enemies in that room should exit the room toward you and you'll have a clear shot at them. This way you won't be surrounded by enemies. If the room has a door, it might eventually close. Simply reopen it and back up until all the enemies are dead.

Escaped from Wolfenstein

Make sure to look for secret areas. They have treasure, ammo, health items, and extra lives in them, which make the episode a lot easier.
I recommend doing this on the "Bring ‘Em On" difficulty setting so that when you're done with all six episodes, you'll get the Blazkowicz-ed! trophy and don't have to play through the episode twice.

Here are the maps for episode one.

The Boss:
Open the secret area and grab any supplies you may need. If you don't need supplies it's still a good idea to open it in the beginning just in case.
Then, open the door to go on and rush backwards while shooting. Hide behind walls/pillars and peak out to shoot him. After killing him, pick up the key he drops, go through the door and run free to the outside world!

Then open the door and kill the mutants inside. Pick up the ammo they drop and run straight ahead to encounter the boss. Strafe left and right to avoid his knives, and pump lead into him in long bursts. If you run out of ammo or run low on health, sprint to a secret area and pick up some supplies.

The Boss:
Grab any ammo you may need and go through the door ahead. Kill the Hitler/Dracula/Whatthefuck thing while avoiding his deathly slow red pixels of doom. Open the secret area and grab any health an ammo you may need. (If you have 90% health or higher, don't waste a health pack, you might need it later.) Go through either of the two doors in the wooden section of the wall. Kill the two guards that are straight ahead of each door. Follow the left and right corridors and kill the guard (first) and the Hitler/Dracula/Whatthefuck in each. If you are low on health or ammo, back track to the secret area or the starting room and grab what you need (there is only ammo in the starting room.) After restocking, go through either of the two doors in the wooden room and kill the two guards and the two Hitler/Dracula/Whatthefucks. Try not to get corned by the red pixels of doom because they do a lot of damage. Pick up the key to the left. Again, if you are running low on health or ammo, go back and restock. I would highly recommend saving your game at this point. Assuming you have a decent bit of health and ammo, you should be fine. If you think you might not have enough on you and left in the storage rooms, save on a new file.
Go through the metal door and avoid Hitler in his machine while killing the three guards inside. There is ammo in the far corner if you need it. After the guards are dead, hide behind the huge metal boxes and shoot Hitler. His guns are beast so try not to get shot. Eventually his machine will break and he'll get out of it. Use the same strategy until he dies. If at any point in the fight you run low on ammo or health, you can exit the room to get more, (just remember there is ammo in the room with you. No health though.)YouTube- Wolfenstein 3D episode 3 boss

The Boss:
Go in the door to your right, keep going forward and kill the lone guard standing by the two keys. Immediately back up because about 4,000 guards are going to come out of the doors ahead of you, and they all have bullets they want to give to you. Hide behind the wall and wait for them to pass it, shoot them, grab any ammo you need, shoot more of them, repeat until they are all dead. Grab the two keys near where you killed the first guard, then open the secret area to your left and grab those two keys as well. (There is one cross in the room where all the guards spawned, snag it if you're interested in getting 100% treasures on the floor.) Saving at this point might be a good idea.
Go into the room on the opposite side of the map. Open the door in the blue wall for ammo, and the door in the red wall for health. Grab whatever you need from both and then confront the boss. All he does it shoot rockets at you, but they do a bit of damage. Hide behind walls and fire at him while avoiding his rockets. Make sure to watch your health and ammo and refill whenever you need.YouTube- Wolfenstein 3D episode 4 boss

The Boss:
Go through the door on either your left or right. Kill the guard inside and back track. Some of the other guards should come in that room in need of some good bullets to the face. Kill the guards then go through the door straight ahead. Inside are a bunch of health packs and possibly another guard (depending on if he was in the mood to follow his friends to death.)
Go through the door straight ahead. This is where you will fight the boss. At the end of the room there are two doors on the left, and two on the right. The two on the left lead to ammo and depending on what difficulty you are on, an enemy. Same with the two on the right.
Hang a left and go all the way down to the far corner to open the secret door. Inside is some ammo and some treasure. The secret area on the opposite side only has treasure. Snag any ammo you may need and walk towards the center. This should trigger the boss.
All she does is shoot you with her two guns, much like Hitler after you break his armor is episode 3. Take cover, pop out and shoot, repeat until she dies. Long bursts work best. Grab the key she dropped and restock on any health and ammo you may need, while picking up treasure if you're hunting for it. Find the locked door on the left side and open it.
Inside are a bunch of guards. back up and let them walk out of the room into your line of fire. Go in the room, kill any guards that may not have followed the conga line of death, and hang a left. The level will automatically end with that bad ass jump cheer. YEAH! YouTube- Wolfenstein 3D episode 5 boss

Confronted
Complete episode six on Don't Hurt Me or harder

Make sure to look for secret areas. They have treasure, ammo, health items, and extra lives in them, which make the episode a lot easier.
I recommend doing this on the "Bring ‘Em On" difficulty setting so that when you're done with all six episodes, you'll get the Blazkowicz-ed! trophy and don't have to play through the episode twice.

The first couple of floors can be hard. Just go slow and check you're corners. When you come to a four way intersection in a hallway, go to the intersection and back up. If there are enemies in either side they will yell and come out.

The Boss: This is one of the hardest floors, and fittingly so, since it's the last one. Kill the guard directly a head of you, pick up his ammo and quickly take out the two guards on your far left and right side. Open the secret area, grab health, ammo, and the gun if you need it. Open the far left (or right) door and shoot everyone ahead of you. I find it's easier to rush in the room and spray it with bullets before letting them come through one of the three other doors. When all those guards are dead, so back for health and ammo, you'll need it.
Go to the room on either side, and start killing. There are a few ways to do this. If you kill everyone in front of you quickly you can circle around and take out all the guards that were in the other room. I found it easier to go back and forth for a bit, while grabbing any ammo and health you need in the first secret area. Don't forget to open the secret area in both of these rooms for ammo and health. Once everyone is dead, and you have a decent amount of supplies, save your game, and go on forward.
Kill the guards in the hall and approach the main room. Take out as many guards as you can before starting the boss fight, any guards that are left will just get in your way. There are enough supplies in the secret area on the right for the boss fight, just try not to get stuck in it like I did (see video.) The boss shoots at you will bullets, and a mini rocket launcher. The rocket launcher attack is devastating, so avoid it at all costs. As with other bosses, pop in and out of cover and spray him with bullets. Grab health and ammo as you need it and he should be down in no time.YouTube- Wolfenstein 3D episode 6 boss

Hey, That Wall Moves!
Find one secret

The first secret you'll come to is on the first floor in episode one. Once you enter the first wooden area (brown walls), take your first left. There will be a short corridor with a Nazi standing in front of a painting. Kill the Nazi and press against the painting to discover the secret.
If you missed this secret and don't want to go back to get it, take a look at any of the above maps. All the secrets have a green block representing them. Press against the area on the wall that is marked on the map to discover a secret.

Simply finish any floor for this one. I recommend doing it on the first floor in episode one on the "I Am Death Incarnate" difficulty setting while also collecting all the treasures and killing all the enemies. That way you can get five trophies in one go.
