Players: 1, 1-12 online
Online Trophies: Yes: Clubman , Contender , And So It Begins! , Face-Off , Team Work , Unbeatable , Lifer
Estimated Time to Platinum: 50+ hours
Minimum Playthroughs: 1
Collectible Trophies: None
Missable Trophies: None
Glitched Trophies: Hoon-a-tic is currently causing some users issue, not unlocking once the requirements are met. It is unknown what causes this at this time, but Evolution Studios claims it will be fixed with the next available patch.

[top]Tips & Strategies

  • Start a Club as soon as possible! This will allow you to spend the least amount of time working towards Lifer (1000 miles as a club member.)
  • Watch those turns! Cut the wheel too sharp and you'll be penalized and slowed to a crawl for a few seconds.
  • Learn your vehicles! Some vehicles have better handling at higher speeds than others. Take note of how well you vehicles perform to know when to brake/drift.
  • Complete Accolades for huge Fame bonuses!

DRIVECLUB has a fairly simple platinum, but it will take a while to earn. The following steps should help you through with as little headache as possible.

Step 1: Tour
You'll start your path to plat in a tutorial race. After you finish it, you'll be free to move on to other parts of the tour. In this step, you should earn:
  • You Only Get One First Time
  • First Of Many
  • Level Up!
  • 5 And Counting
  • Progress
  • On The Podium
  • Nose To Tail
  • Long Distance
  • Making Waves
  • Full House
Step 2: Club Work
The main draw of DRIVECLUB is racing as part of a club. By doing so, you not only get extra Fame for yourself, but your friends and the club will benefit as well. In this step, you should aim for:
  • Clubman
  • This One Is Mine
  • Team Work
Step 3: Challenges and Face-Offs (if the servers ever work properly)
When connected to PSN, you may find that unannounced Face-Offs will often appear during your solo races, as well as accept and send challenges from other players online. This step is entirely dependent on the servers working to their full potential. You should work on:
  • Contender
  • And So It Begins!
  • Face-Off
  • Unbeatable

Step 4: Final Grind

This is where you'll spend the majority of your time racing for Fame, drift points, maxing out accolades, and total miles. You should get:
  • Life Begins
  • Full House
  • Mastery
  • Hoon-a-tic
  • Lifer
  • Welcome To The Limit
  • Credit Where It's Due
Step 5: Cleanup
Here you should just worry about any miscellaneous trophies you may have missed during the bulk of your racing career. When it's all said and done, you should wind up with #UniteInSpeed for your trophy case.

Collect all of the other Trophies.

As usual, unlock all of the other non-DLC trophies for this simple, yet time consuming plat.

You Only Get One First Time
Complete your first Event.

Welcome to DRIVECLUB! Use this first race to get to know your vehicle, the track, ways to earn/lose Fame, and how the AI racers behave. It doesn't matter where you finish, so go out and have fun. You can always restart the race afterwards to go for the win and earn more Fame.

Join a Club, or have someone join a Club that you have created.

Another easy trophy… Once the servers work properly (they truly are a mess at the moment). Simply create a club and have somebody join it (or invite someone). The other option is to either join or get invited to another club.

First Of Many
Beat your first Face-Off.

Tour Races have multiple secondary objectives. One of the types is a face-off. You will need to match or surpass the small preset goal for the face-off. For more info on the types of face-offs, see Face-Off .

This One Is Mine
Customize a vehicle.

Easy enough. From the main menu, head into the Garage and select one of your cars. From the start, you can customize paint designs, colors, and numbers, with more customizations being unlocked as you progress/earn accolades. Simply go in and change anything on the vehicle and hit save.

When the timer expires on a Solo Challenge, be at the top of the leaderboard.

Challenges work in one of two ways in DRIVECLUB. Club challenges pit multiple clubs against one another to fight for the best score/time. Solo challenges are simply between you and any other driver you want. When sending out a challenge, you may set the amount of time to work on the challenge for the other player. If they do not surpass your goal by the time the timer expires, you'll win the challenge.

*Note* the other player must at least attempt the challenge for it to count.

And So It Begins!
Send a Challenge to another player.

After you complete a race, drifting event, or time trial, you have the option to send a challenge to a friend based on score or lap time. Simply select this option from the post-event menu and choose a player to challenge for an easy bronze.

Level Up!
Reach Driver Level 2.

As you race, you'll gain and lose Fame depending on your actions. Racing fast and making clean passes will earn you Fame, while hitting walls, other vehicles, or cutting corners too tight will cause yo to lose Fame. You'll need 30,000 Fame to reach Rank 2, which should take you about 2-3 races.

5 And Counting
Reach Driver Level 5.

Rank 5 requires 135,000 Fame. See Welcome To The Limit for more info on Fame.

Reach Level 1 with one Accolade.

See Credit Where It's Due for more information on Accolades.

Complete a point to point Event with an average speed of 100mph or 161 km/h.

Point to point events are the best event type in DRIVECLUB. Rather than race around a small track with numerous slow turns and multiple laps, you're placed on a long stretch of road and told to race to the end. For this trophy, you'll need to use these straight sections of track to their full advantage with an extremely fast car Any of the Hyper class vehicles should do the trick here. Now choose whichever point-to-point track you want (marked with an arrow rather than the figure-eight of close circuit courses). You can either make this event into a race or a time trial, but the latter is more helpful, as you'll be given a running start. Now race to the finish, making sure to keep your lines clean and your speed high through turns. If you can manage to keep your average speed above 100 mph, this hidden bronze will be yours.

Complete 50 Face-Offs.

Your first taste of Face-Offs will come in your introductory Tour race. There are only 20 of them across the 50+ events, so you won't be able to earn this just by completing Tour events. More Face-Offs become available in in solo races (when connected to PSN) and online races, normally 2 or 3 per race. The most common Face-Offs are:
  • Cornering: Try to follow the blue racing line as closely as possible. You earn more points towards the challenge the longer you remain on the line.
  • Drifting: Often occur through areas with a couple turns. Drift through these zones and try to earn the required score.
  • Average speed: Stay above the average speed for the duration of the zone.

On The Podium
Place in any of the top 3 positions during a 12 player race.

Your first chance for this in Single Player is selecting Mountain Dash, which is much easier to win as the difficulty increases the further you progress through the Tours.. Simply come in the Top 3 to unlock this trophy.

Nose To Tail
Draft another vehicle for at least 2187 yards (2000 metres) in a single event.

In Driveclub, you can begin drafting if you race close behind an opponent moving at at least 70 mph. This is much easier on point to point races, as they have plenty of long stretches of straight track. If you can manage a few hundred meters on each straight section of the course, you should have no trouble with this.

Team Work
Be a member of a Club that is Club Level 10 or above.

There are two ways to go about this. You can either start up a club with a friend/random player and keep earning Fame until you reach Rank 10 (2,659,500 Fame), or simply join a club that is already at Rank 10, instantly granting you the trophy. If you choose to start from the ground up, remember that you can only earn Fame for your club when you have two or more members joined AND you must have a connection to the servers. I only mention the second part because at launch, the servers tend to drop you after a certain amount of time, so turn in those points quickly, or you may lose them!

Rack 'em Up, Knock 'em Down
Beat 3 Target Times in a single Time Trial event.

Not as difficult as it may seem at first. Go to Single Event and start a time trial, you'll need to run 4 laps. For your first lap, take the course as slowly as you can. On your second pass, move through at a moderate speed to beat the first time. Like before, speed up again for the 3rd run, aiming for a new best time. On the 4th and final lap, put the pedal to the metal. After you complete your fastest lap, the trophy should unlock.

*Tip* A short track with very few turns can be found in Canada at Maplewood (2). With a mid-range car, one lap takes just under a minute.

Long Distance
Drive for at least 300 miles (483 km).

Nothing to do here except drive! Compete in races, shoot for the best lap time in time trials, practice drifting, or my favorite: taking a somewhat slower drive along the point-to-point tracks and soaking up the scenery (it's gorgeous). You'll easily rack up 300 miles on the odometer as you progress, so take your time.

Making Waves
Reach Driver Level 15.

Rank 15 requires 822,500 Fame. See Welcome to the Limit for more info on Fame.

Life Begins
Reach Driver Level 30.

Rank 30 requires 4,117,500 Fame. See Welcome to the Limit for more info on Fame.

Full House

Win 5 of your own Solo Challenges after sending them to at least one other player.

After sending out your first challenge, your opponent will have the opportunity to beat your high score or record time. If they fail to do so before the challenge timer expires, you will be awarded a win for that challenge. You will need to win at least five of these challenges, having the challenger at least attempt it for your victory to count. The easiest way would be to simply send 5 time trial event challenges to a friend and have them complete a lap slower than you each time.

Max out one Accolade.

To max out an accolade, you'll need to complete all 5 levels of its challenge. See Credit Where It's Due for more information on Accolades.

Rack up 1 million Drift Points in total.

Get ready for a ton of drifting, as well as being unsure of your total points (there is currently no way to track total drifting points, just a total distance). You will likely make a big dent in that 1,000,000 point goal by working toward the gold rank in each of the Tour's drifting events. However, your final score in the events is not indicative of your drifting points, as it also factors in speed zone points. Outside of drifting events, you will also be able to earn drift bonuses during races. So if you get tired of running the same drift event over and over, you can move to a different race type and look for opportunities to drift. Time trial events on closed circuit courses are probably the best way to go about it, as there is no time/lap limit, and there are plenty of turns to drift through on every lap. The trophy will unlock as soon as you hit 1,000,000 points.

*Glitch Warning* At this time players are reporting that upon reaching 1 million Drift points, the trophy remains locked. It is unclear if there is a set scenario that causes this, but Evolution Studios claims it will be solved with the next patch. Keep an eye out until then.

In a 12 player race, finish on the podium without losing any Fame due to collisions with other competitors.

This has the potential to be one of the more annoying trophies in the game, especially if you're one of those people that use other cars to slow yourself down when taking corners. You'll first need to find a race that you are comfortable with that has 12 racers. Carefully make your way to the finish line by cleanly passing other cars. Be warned that other racers slamming into the back of your car DOES penalize you for some reason, so be careful. The thing to watch out for here are the "Hit-Vehicle" prompts that appear and deduct Fame. These are the only collisions that count against you for this trophy. If the prompt appears, you'll need to restart the race.

*Note* If you bump into a car and the prompt doesn't show up, you SHOULD be okay to continue racing.

Drive at least 1000 miles (1610 km) as a Club Member.

Yet another time consuming trophy. Once you join a club, you'll need to pull one helluva road trip to finish this. If you race for your club often, this will simply come over time. Point to point races are the fastest way to get through this, often being about 10 miles long and allowing you to reach insanely high speeds. Time trials on Circuit courses can also be a quick, if not mind-numbing way to grind out the mileage, seeing as they have an unlimited number of laps and a distance of around 2 miles.

*Note 1* There may be a possibility of your progress being wiped if you leave the club, so try to stick with it until the trophy pops.

*Note 2* You may not need to be connected to the servers for your mileage to count! There are reports of players earning the trophy who joined a club and then only played offline.

Welcome To The Limit
Reach Driver Level 50.

Reaching Rank 50 will require you to rack up an astonishing 14,547,500 Fame! While this number seems high, nearly everything you do in DriveClub earns you Fame. During race events, you can earn Fame for:
  • Finishing races ahead of last place (with Top 3 positions granting the most Fame)
  • Drifting
  • Drafting
  • High speed
  • Passing opponents
  • Clean sector
  • Clean laps
Drifting events will grant you Fame for:
  • Drifting (duh)
  • Speed zones
And Time Trials will allow for the most potential Fame. On closed circuit courses, you have an unlimited number of laps to earn the best possible time. You can continuously circle these courses to build up Fame by:
  • Drifting
  • High Speed
  • Clean sector
  • Clean Lap
Beyond the standard Tour Events, you can also earn more Fame when racing with a Club in online events, as well as completing challenges and leveling up various accolades.

Credit Where It's Due
Max out one of each Gameplay, Game Mode, Vehicle and Event Accolades.

Accolades are earned for everything from driving any car from one manufacturer to passing a set number of opponents to winning races. The easiest by far are the "Drive __ mi/km with (insert manufacturer)," normally requiring you to drive about 50-75 miles with it to max out the accolade. Unfortunately, these Manufacturer accolades don't count toward THIS trophy. The list below shows all of the accolades that WILL count for this trophy. The ones in blue are either the easiest, can be quickly boosted, or will come from general play.

  • All About the Win: Complete any event finishing in 1st Place to contribute to this accolade.
  • Clean Racing: Complete a Clean Sector Overdrive to contribute to this accolade.
  • Commitment: Complete any Multiplayer, Tour, Single Event, or Challenge to contribute to this accolade.
  • Drafting: Complete a Draft Overdrive to contribute to this accolade.
  • Drifting: Complete a Drift Overdrive to contribute to this accolade.
  • Overtaker: Complete a Position Gained Overdrive to contribute to this accolade. In a full 11 opponent race (Tour or online), you will have the chance to add 11 Position Gained overdrives. An easy way to boost this accolade is to run a one-lap 12 player race on Canada, Maplewood 02. The race will last about a minute, so you can quickly max this out.
Game Mode
  • Club Challenges: Complete any Club Challenge event to contribute to this accolade.
  • Driver Challenges: Complete any Driver Challenge event to contribute to this accolade.
  • Drift Events: Complete any Drift event to contribute to this accolade.
  • Race Events: Complete any Race event to contribute to this accolade. You will be spending most of your time in race events, especially during Tours and the DLC packs, but you will still need to grind a bit for this. You'll need around 500 ()races to max this out.
  • Time Trial Events: Complete any Time Trial event to contribute to this accolade.
  • Hot-Hatch Racer: Complete any event driving a Hot-Hatch Class Vehicle to contribute to this accolade.
  • Sports Racer: Complete any event driving a Sports Class Vehicle to contribute to this accolade.
  • Performance Racer: Complete any event driving a Performance Class Vehicle to contribute to this accolade.
  • Super Racer: Complete any event driving a Super Class Vehicle to contribute to this accolade.
  • Hyper Racer: Complete any event driving a Hyper Class Vehicle to contribute to this accolade.
  • Tour Events: Complete any Tour event to contribute to this accolade. Should be maxed out without trying, especially if you plan to work on the DLCs.
  • Single Events: Complete any Single event to contribute to this accolade.

*Note* If you have a lot of race requirements remaining, you can quickly boost many of them in a race event at Canada Maplewood 02. It is the shortest track, with an average lap time of 1 minute or less, allowing you to work on many accolades quickly, but be warned, it gets boring fast. This method is most helpful for Race Events, Overtaker, and any of the vehicle class accolades.
