[top]Tips & Strategies

  • If you do not have the platinum for the base game play through the DLC first.
  • You can press the button at anytime and restart the race or round (even with multiple events). This can save you a lot of time from having to go back and playthrough each of the races if you only need a star from a particular event.
  • Earn all stars for an event before continuing on to the next event so use that method above before the race ends.
  • Do your best to place 1st in every race.
  • If you're having trouble beating the time trial events follow the ghost bike that has the quickest time to see where they break or let off the gas to provide you with a better racing line.
  • If you're having trouble with the drift events, use the vehicle with the best drift statistics. Do your best to learn the turns and how fast or slow you need to accelerate for the best possible points.
  • Earn all 3 stars for each race before moving onto another event/race so the track is fresh in your head.
  • The race objectives are represented by the stars on each event.
  • To see how many stars you have unlocked overall in the DLC you can back out of the DLC tour where the list of DLC events are and the total will be displayed at the top right. It will show */27 and if you press on the event each race will also show you how many objectives you have met within each event.
  • The objectives do not have to be completed in one race, you can restart or even exit the race and go back in and the only objective you will need to complete are those you haven't previously.
  • Only the stars earned in this DLC will count towards unlocking the next set of race events and trophy event for this DLC.

Like the bike tour within DRIVECLUB BIKES you will need to race your way through five events before you are met with the trophy event. Play each event in any order you like, earning the maximum amount of stars before moving onto the next event. Same goes with the trophy event although you will need to restart the round before you cross the finish line in each event before you are forced to the next stage of the championship.

* Must be done during the same attempt - this also counts for only 1 star*

The first five race events consist of:

Win the 'EBR' Trophy event.

The EBR Trophy Event is like any other event with the exception that it consists of three races with a total of nine stars. At the end of each race you are rewarded for points in which you place when you finish (place top three every time or you'll be replaying this event). At the end of the three events your accumulated points will tally up placing you in the respective position where the remaining three objectives are met. Only the first six objects can be done while racing as the last three are based upon your overall race statistics.

* Must be done during the same attempt - this also counts for only 1 star*

There are objectives within a race called Face-Offs that require you to achieve a higher score or average speed within a predetermined distance. The scores and speed totals will be shown at the start of the Face-Off so you will be able to see what you need to beat. Face-Offs can be...
  • Beat the cornering zone score - this will require you to drive over the racing line. Driving at a faster rate will have the score tally quicker.
  • Beat the average speed zone score - have an accumulated higher speed throughout the zone.
  • Beat the drift zone score - most of these only have you drifting through one turn so they are much easier. Drift through the corner the best you can.
  • Achieve a time of..or have a clean race through sector - requires you to either make through the sector within a time limit (easily managed even if you go off track) or complete a sector without having any points deducted by going off the track, falling off your bike, or colliding with another racer hard enough to take away fame points.

The most difficult objectives are the time trials as the may get your frustrated early if you mess up as the top times have little to no mistakes so you too will have to be almost flawless. There are ghosts though, one for each time objective so you can follow them around the track and see how you are doing with time. This is key as you will know where you are doing really well or terrible during the track event. During the start of the event you will have a rolling so you should have met top speed already, however, the event doesn't end until you press the button and finish the event so if you had a bad lap continue on and it's possible you may be able to pull ahead of the ghost at the start of the next lap depending on your speed which can be used as an advantage.
