[top]Tips & Strategies

  • You can hold down to build up speed, allowing you to move faster.
  • Once you enter Stephen's bunker in Little Tipworth you CANNOT go back unless you backed up your profile and save data before you entered, so if you cannot do that be sure you finished everything you needed/wanted to finish in that playthrough because you will have to start a new game.
  • When finding maps, books, Chads, and noting train numbers, you don't have to interact with them, you just have to get close enough and look at them for a few seconds.

[top]Roadmap

This roadmap follows the fastest way to obtaining the platinum. It is highly recommended though that you play through the game once first just to enjoy the story and get a feel for what you'll need to do and look for.

Step One - Play through the game normally. You will want to explore thoroughly for events and collectibles. Make sure you have interacted with all telephones, radios (orange and silver), TV's, and computers. BEFORE entering Stephen's bunker you should have the following:
Tea Leaf
Wrong Number
Graffiti Artist
Bibliophile
Lost
Howard's Train
Trainspotter
Perpetual Motion
Moonwalker
Backtracker
Hypochondriac
Ready Meal
Last Orders
Passive Observer

Step Two - If you can, once the game saves and BEFORE entering the bunker, BACKUP YOUR PROFILE AND SAVE DATA, be it through cloud or USB. This will allow you to go back to your game in case you missed something for the Completionist trophy without you having to restart all over again.
Step Three - Enter the bunker and complete the game.
The End
Completionist

Step Four - Start a new game. You will ONLY be collecting ORANGE radios. You CANNOT trigger ANY main story events in this playthrough, which are the motion controlled ones that turn the world from day to night. You can trigger side events which are the ones that automatically happen when you're in close proximity to them but try to avoid even those if you can, just to be safe. Upon collecting your final radio you should have:
Radio Enthusiast

Step Five - AFTER completing the Radio Enthusiast trophy, backtrack through Little Tipworth and complete Stephen's story to access his bunker.

You will need to find and use all radios, orange and silver, turn on all televisions, use all telephones, this includes the ringing red phone booths and all of the house phones that aren't ringing, turn on all computers, and trigger all main events as well as all side events. You don't actually have to stay and listen to the radios or conversation if you don't want to or if it's not your first time playing, you just have to make sure you trigger them so they count. All of this has to be done in ONE playthrough.

Please refer to the video guide below if you're having trouble.

3. The third Chad is on the side of a grey van in a wheat field in Appleton's Farms. Following the main road, make a left at the white house on the corner, go straight a little ways, there's a big wheat field on your right, the van can be spotted there, there's also a radio in the van.

Listened to all the radios before doing anything else

This trophy is missable.
There are a total of 25 orange radios in the game but you only have to listen to 24 as one of them is part of a conversation and does not count towards the trophy. The silver radios in the game do not count either so don't be fooled, do not play them as you will mess up this trophy and have to start all over again. You will need find and listen to all 24 radios BEFORE doing anything else. You will only interact with the radios and whatever doors or gates needed to access them. Do not do anything else but that. You are allowed to trigger side events as they play automatically when you're close enough but you CANNOT trigger any of the main, motion controlled events. Reached Stephen's bunker without ending any other story arc

This trophy is missable.
For this you have to finish Stephen's story and enter his bunker in Little Tipwoth without ending any of the other characters story arcs. The easiest way to go about this is to do it in your second playthrough, AFTER you've finished the Radio Enthusiast trophy. Since you'll already be in Little Tipworth, just backtrack, complete his story events, and return to his now open bunker by the substation and enter it. All of his events are located in Little Tipworth.

2. Inside the train station.
