[top]Tips & Strategies

  • All but two trophies can be earned in multiplayer mode.
  • Matching five identical colors will provide you with the almighty hammer.
  • Matching four identical colors will provide you with a power-up of that particular color.
  • If you don't have a second controller you can use the SharePlay feature to enable a second player for the multiplayer trophies.
  • Playing on multiplayer will be considerably easier to complete levels as you won't have a timer or move count like you would playing solo.
  • During the toy building levels you will be given toy pieces where you match two or more pieces. By matching and breaking colors you will earn a toy piece, however you must break those colors in the same general area of that toy for the piece to appear.

[top]Power-Ups & Tools

This can be used to pick up a block and replace it with another of your choice. You cannot move obstacles or blocks that are tied down! This tool takes the longest to become available.
This isn't as useful as the other tools, but it can still be helpful in plenty of areas where you think you're stuck and can use the help of reshuffling the board. This tool takes the second longest to become available.
The paintbrush allows you to paint regular blocks a specified color, but not obstacles or power-ups. This tool takes the shortest time to become available.
A tool of destruction, the hammer is earned by connecting five matching blocks at one time. The hammer will destroy many blocks on the board. If used on a toy it will destroy your opponents toy and build yours even to where you'll have duplicates.
A standard power-up has the ability to clear an entire row or column once it has been matched with two other matching blocks. These are earned by connecting four matching blocks at one time.

[top]Roadmap

Step One: Work your way through the first thirty-one levels by yourself or with another player. The goal here is to make the locomotive train in level 31 and then you can go back and replay any of the previous levels for the miscellaneous trophies you didn't acquire during this step.

All Aboard!
Twice the Fun

Step Two: Focus on the two multiplayer trophies now that you have acquainted yourself with the mechanics. This can be mixed in with the first step if you decided to play with a second player.

Toy Smasher

Step Three: Time to tidy up the trophy list by earning the miscellaneous trophies you missed during the first two steps.

[top]Trophies

[top]
First Toy
Make a toy by assembling all the pieces.

This will unlock after completing the second level as it's an introduction to building and placing toys on the conveyer belt. You will have 40 moves total to finish the level which is more than enough.

[top]
No Help Needed
Complete an advanced level without the use of any tools.

Any level from eleven and up will be credited as an advanced level, therefore this trophy cannot be earned by playing on level 10 or below. The second factor of this trophy requirement is not use any of the tools which are the paintbrush, shuffler, and the crane arm found on the left in the objective box. Sometimes they're not always active since they take time to build up from prior use based on tallied points so you may not even have the option of using them in some levels. A better way to successfully earn this trophy would be to play in multiplayer without a move counter or timer so you can focus on the level without the use of any tools whatsoever. The use of power-ups and the hammer will not negate this trophy!

[top]
Double Smash
Smash two lines of crates by combining two powerups.

You will need to setup the board to where you can switch two power-ups with each other to make a match of 3 for both colors therefore clearing both lines. You earn power-ups by matching four of the same color blocks, but you'll have to be precise and methodical. Try doing this in multiplayer mode if you're having any issues.

[top]
All Aboard!
Make the locomotive toy!

This will be earned after completing the thirty-first level as this is the first time you encounter the locomotive train that needs to be put together from four separate pieces. Unlike the toy building with a move count you will have to put this toy together and on the conveyer belt in under 1 minute. There will be some obstacles that could block your train from reaching the bottom so be sure to refer to the Power-Ups & Tools or Obstacles above for their strengths and weaknesses.

[top]
Shake, Rattle, and Boom
Cause an opponents board to shake in multiplayer.

This must be done in multiplayer mode while on a toy building level. Although this game doesn't support online multiplayer this can be done with a second controller or the SharePlay feature if you have PS+. Once a second player has joined you all they need to do is press in the level selection menu.

By playing in multiplayer you more than likely earn this naturally, but if not just focus on matching blocks of the same color hoping to score a hammer or power-up. If you earn a hammer you can use it to destroy a bunch of blocks in order to tally up enough points to shake your opponents board. Power-ups also have the ability to do this by clearing lines as they are used so you don't have to rely on just a hammer.

*If you're second player breaks your toy with a hammer of their own this will not get you the trophy!*

[top]
Twice the Fun
Make two toys in the same level.

This will unlock after the completion of the sixth level. Here you will be limited to 30 moves to build and place both toys (drums and ring toy) onto the conveyer belt. Practice putting your toys together at the bottom of the level so you have the experience as you reach the advanced levels.

[top]
Four in a Row
Make a row or column powerup.

All that you must do is match four of the same color blocks in a row horizontally or vertically allowing a power-up to produce. You will know when you have correctly aligned four in a row as a new block will take it's place, however with a new paint scheme of colors. The power-up will in turn take the color representation of the four blocks that were aligned to make it.

[top]
Crates Be Gone
Combine the hammer with a powerup.

This can be a time consuming trophy just because you need to arrange the board so you have a hammer and power-up next to another other. In order to create a hammer you must match 5 or more of the same color blocks and for a power-up you will only need to match 4. That part isn't to difficult as it happens naturally often, however, you need to work the pieces so they can be switched out with one another. It will be best to do this as you're playing multiplayer so you have unlimited time and moves so you can focus on each move and what will occur as you do it.

Toy Smasher
Use the hammer to break an opponents toy in multiplayer.

This must be done in multiplayer mode while on a toy building level. Although this game doesn't support online multiplayer this can be done with a second controller of the SharePlay feature if you have PS+. Once a second player has joined you all they need to do is press in the level selection menu.

The trophy requires you to match 5 matching colors to establish the hammer and once that is done you have to use it on one of your toy pieces once your opponent has a toy put together already. As you do this you will have the fully built toy instead of your second player! You can also use your tools to coordinate a row or column of 5 matching colors for the hammer if needed. It would also help if you allow the toy pieces to fall off the map prior to earning the hammer because you can match 3 in the vicinity and have a toy piece near the hammer location.

*If you're second player breaks your toy with a hammer of their own this will not get you the trophy!*

[top]
Speed Demon
Beat an advanced level in less than a third of the time given.

Cannot be obtained by playing multiplayer!

Advanced levels begin at level 11 and continue beyond that. Not every level will contain a timer as some will grant you a certain amount of moves that can be made instead of time so those levels will not count for this trophy requirement. There are two types of levels with time limits on them; reaching a score total and putting toy(s) together onto the conveyer belt. You must complete the level within 1/3 of the time given to you from the beginning so you will need to work quickly and try and make combo's to drop your toy to the bottom quicker or making big score tallies for score.

Score Tips: Attempt to match 4 or more blocks at once to gain power-ups that will increase the combo points. Doing the required three color matching won't work if you're going for this trophy as it will simply take to long!

Toy Tips: Make matches toward the bottom of the level and not in the corners so it can just drop onto the conveyer belt when it's completed. It's up to you if you prefer to make more than one toy as it could be easier, however a short list will be provided down below. Also make good use of the tools you have such as the paint brush, shuffler, and crane arm as they can speed things up rather quickly.

List of levels from 11-35 that are timed:
Level 11 - 2 Toys - Space ship has 2 pieces & tow truck 2 pieces - 2 minutes
Level 13 - 2 toys - Kite has two pieces & airplane has 3 pieces - 1:30 minutes
Level 15 - 2 toys - Dinosaur has two pieces and ring toy has 2 pieces 1:30 minutes
Level 17 - 2 toys truck 3 pieces & helicopters 3 pieces - 2 minutes
Level 19 - 1 toy 3 pieces - 1 minute
Level 21 - 2 toys - space ship 2 pieces & tank has 3 pieces - 1:30 minutes
Level 31 - 1 toy - 4 pieces -1 minute
Level 33 - 12,000 score - 1 minute
Level 25 - 15,000 score - 1:30 minutes

Moves to Spare
Complete an advanced level in less than a quarter of the moves given.

Cannot be obtained by playing multiplayer!

Any level from eleven and up will be credited as an advanced level, therefore this trophy cannot be earned by playing on level 10 or below. It's suggested you attempt this on a toy level although it can be done on both the score and clearing the board of the window blocks (particular areas that must be destroyed to complete the level). Your tools will be extremely important for this trophy so make sure they're accessible by scoring points. As you begin a level with a toy that involves making moves you want to start matching blocks towards the center of the board to help place it on the conveyer belt.

The most difficult part of the requirement is to do this is less than a 1/4 of the given moves so you must calculate what less than a 1/4 is and restart the level anytime after that unless you're practicing of course. This will more than likely take multiple attempts so stay focused and don't give up to easily if this is becoming an issue to unlock. You can also look at the video below that was added to help anyone out who can't see to unlock it.

Hammer Power
Use the hammer on a toy piece.

The trophy requires you to match 5 identical colors to establish the hammer and once that is done you have to use it on one of your toy pieces. As you do this you will have the fully built toy instead of a toy in shambles. You can use your tools to coordinate a row or column of 5 matching colors for the hammer if needed. It would also help if you allow the toy pieces to fall off the map prior to earning the hammer because you can match 3 in the vicinity and have a toy piece near the hammer location.
