[top]Tips & Strategies

Warframe is designed as an online Co-Op game, so the best way to play it in most cases is to play it set to public, or set to friends if you have friends that play too.

- Play in groups as often as possible. Whenever a team member kills an enemy, you get exp from the kill, provided you are close enough to them divided between all your equipped gear.

- You can skip most planetary missions if you group with someone that has already defeated the boss for that planet. Simply have your partner pick the boss mission for the planet and vote your agreement. In this way you don't have to beat any missions on a planet besides the boss before unlocking the next planet.

- It's always easier to do boss fights in groups, so go in public or gather some friends to help you out. In fact, with many of the fights, going solo, even with a maxed out warframe and weapons, is a sure fire way to die and fail the mission. It's a waste of time and effort to go that route, so get a team.

Step 1: Run missions on planets to unlock each planet's assassination mission. When you are looking at the navigation map, completing a mission will unlock all adjacent missions.

Step 2: Run the assassination mission to kill the boss and unlock the next planet.

Step 3: Rinse, lather, and repeat until you've unlocked and defeated the bosses for Mercury and Uranus.

Saviour of Mercury
Kill the boss in the Mercury region and get to extraction.

Warframe begins on planet Earth. At the end of the tutorial mission, you receive your ship, which has damaged or missing components. You then must complete a series of missions to "restore" your ship's systems to working order. When the last of these "ship restoration" missions is complete, you unlock access to Mercury.

On Mercury, a single mission will be unlocked. You must complete this mission in order to unlock the mission adjacent to it on the navigation map. To earn this trophy in the shortest time, find the assassination mission, and determine the route you must take to get there. Complete missions on this path until you unlock the assassination mission and then run the assassination mission.

The boss on Mercury is Captain Vor of the Grineer. This fight is a pretty straight up fight compared with bosses you'll face later. Up to this point, Captain Vor will be the strongest enemy you've faced. He'll have more health, more shields, and stronger weapons than the rest of the Grineer you've faced. Aside from being stronger, Captain Vor only has two other things that set him apart from everything else you've faced, the ability to teleport, and the ability to deploy a temporary, invulnerability shield. Just unload on him when ever his shield is not up and he should go down in short order.

Once Captain Vor is defeated, you must make it to the evac location to complete the mission. The trophy will not pop until the mission is completed. Sometimes it will pop during the load screen while you are "returning" to your ship, sometimes you won't see it until you are actually back in your ship.

Among your mission rewards for completing the mission, you should receive the nav coordinates that unlock Venus and Mars, the next planets in your journey.

Alternatively, if you can find someone that has already completed the boss fight on Mercury to group with, you can have them load the mission. In this way, you can actually skip every mission on the planet except for the assignation mission.

Saviour of Uranus
Kill the boss in the Uranus region and get to extraction.

In order to get this trophy, you will need to unlock access to planets until you unlock Uranus. As mentioned in the guide for the Saviour of Mercury trophy, you should receive nav coordinates for both Mars and Venus when you defeat the Mercury boss. To get to Uranus, youíll need to defeat the Venus boss to unlock Jupiter, the Jupiter boss to unlock Sedna, and the Sedna Boss to unlock Uranus.

Uranusís boss is Tyl Regor and youíll find him in Uranusís assignation mission, Titania. Tyl Regor is a boss that uses primarily melee attacks. Stay out of reach of his melee attacks and try to avoid his Slash Dash and Seismic Shockwave abilities while unloading your ranged weapons on him and you should be able to take him down pretty quickly.

There are a couple of tricks that can make this fight even easier too. First, Tyl Regor sometimes glitches if you can maneuver him under some stairs and then get upstairs before he can respond. He will begin run into the wall if youíre above him and you can easily take him out without any risk to yourself. Alternately, if you have a warframe that has an immobilizing ability, such as the Rhino warframeís Rhino Stomp ability, this boss is susceptible to it and it will make this a short fight. Be aware that there will be additional enemies attacking you as well, so donít let your guard down.

Once again, you canít get the trophy if you donít make it to the evac in order to finish the mission. Completing this mission, in addition to popping the trophy, will also reward you with one of the Ash warframe component blueprints as well as nav coordinates for Eris and Neptune. There are reports of only getting one of these nav coordinates the first time you run the mission. If this happens to you, don't panic, it just means that you'll have to repeat the mission in order to get the second one.

Again, according to many player reports the trophy may pop during the load screen after completing the mission or it may not pop until you are actually back in your ship. It's only a difference of maybe 30 seconds, so it isn't really a big deal, just be patient if it doesn't pop right away, you won't have to repeat the mission or anything for the trophy.

Pleas see this video by BoneSickle for a mission run though.
