Screwed Out Of Plat?

I think my sims game glitched, the challenge completed but the trophy never popped. I also did the stupid thing and saved it over

When I restarted my system and did it over the trophy still never popped but the challenge is still complete so thats probably why. I heard alot of people experienced glitches and I saw that this games plat is possible. Though what do you guys think am I screwed out of this plat? Soo Close..

Oops, forgot to mention the trophies are Dont fear the reaper and Dancing fiend.
Both require the reaper and they were honestly kinda annoying to get for a easy plat :/

I'd just do them again and see if they pop this time. Otherwise you might be best off re-installing it and giving them another shot.

In my own experience with The Sims 3 and The Sims 3 Pets, (and my boyfriend's as well,) when we had challenges pop without giving the trophy, we immediately exited the game without saving, as once a challenge pops on your ps3 it can never pop again once saved (it gets saved to your profile, and I believe even removing the install and all save data from the game will not even fix it). HOWEVER if you did not save (which from your post it seems you may have) you can delete the install data from the game, and reinstall the game, which will fix the challenge to trophy glitch, but will not resolve any other glitches (such as my sim who seems to be immortal now but is permanently stuck on the roof of Goth manor). Upon doing the reinstall you should be able to complete the challenge again for the trophy. If in fact you did save, I would contact EA customer support, and see if they have a workaround, for removing the challenges from your profile, so that you may get your plat, but with EA discontuining online support of the game, I would suggest contacting them as fast as possible.

ok you guys thx I'll try deleting my install data and if that doesn't work my last resort is deleting my master save but thats best be saved for last lol

I didn't experience any problems with those two trophies, but the same thing happened to me with one (I don't remember the exact one). I unlocked the challenge, but the trophy didn't unlock. I immediately quit the game (honestly I did it because I was pissed off, not because I wanted to redo it), and when I did it again, both unlocked.
