Game Of Thrones narrowly pips The Walking Dead, Red Dwarf and Sons Of Anarchy for me, just a strong cast and story, beautifully presented and the best theme song on television.

Game of thrones pales in comparison to the walking dead. I don't know if its because TWD was completely new for me vs GoT, but I think TWD was the best thing on television these last twelve months. The end of season two was awesome, and the beginning if season three trumped even that. The walking dead all the way! Sons of anarchy sucked compared to it, and I could even finish justified. Honourable mention goes to key and peele.

I'm surprised at the love for TWD. I mean, I definitely enjoy the show from a pure entertainment point of view, which is more than I can ask for from most series, but it's a mess. It's a show where everything and nothing happens at the same time and there is no clear direction. Almost none of the characters behave like actual people and all of their personalities are wildly inconsistant, if not unlikeable. The zombie encounters are getting stale and the reliance on over the top gore is turning into a distracting gimmick. Then, the show keeps churning out plot twists, but can't come up with the writing to back up the narrative consequences. I cared more for Lee and Clementine in the video game than the entire cast of the tv series combined.

But hey, maybe that's just me.

The Walking Dead better not win. The real champ here is Breaking Bad. If you aren't voting for it then you clearly have not seen it. My runners up are Louie and Wilfred. Both hilarious and original shows. Anyways Breaking Bad has changed television forever. Never have a felt sooo much for charactes in any other form of media. And the beginning is always sick.
