Most Over Rated Game of 2012

Now I think in the past this has been a fairly biased category. Call of Duty has won this category every single year, and it seems to get votes whether or not the game is bad, but more based on hatred of the series. The most over rated game, should be the game that was extremely built up and advertised all the way up to release and then turned out to be a huge disappointment when you got a chance to play it. Will Call of Duty continue its domination of this category, or will a new victor emerge in the voting this year.

• All games that have a release date between December 1, 2011 and December 1, 2012 are eligible. This means that if the game didn't release during that time please don't vote for that game.

The Walking Dead.

It's an interactive movie, not a game. I enjoyed it, but pressing every 5 minutes isn't exactly what I'd call compelling gameplay.

The Walking Dead.

Maybe it's just because I don't have the same zombie fever that everyone else in the world seems to have these last few years, but I felt underwhelmed. Good game, but not the phenom that everyone says it is.

Assassin's Creed 3 is a close second just for the amount of hype.

FIFA 13 is lauded as the greatest sports game around when it's not even the best football title.
Not surprising that most casual gamers i know lap it up the same way they do Call Of Duty.

Then it is Resident Evil 6. I don't even want to know how much money Capcom spent on advertisements, but as a fan of the these games I got to say that this is by far the worst one of the series and the biggest disappointment of the year. Mercenary Mode was okay, but the story just sucked. Was a good idea to have 4 story lines, but badly realized. The gameplay was super boring and the graphics are unacceptable for such a small game. RE6 even started with a 8/100 user score on metacritic for the first weeks after release. That clearly shows how much the fans hate it.

See, it's even too big on my post. Anyone who played AC3 and yet voted for ME3 should be ashamed of themselves. The ending might have been... um... controversial, but the rest of the game was far better and more polished than the steaming pile of turd that is AC3.

From the little I played with my nephews I have to say Assassin's Creed 3 (mass effect 3 would be a close second though)
