'Nightmare in North Point' To Feature Zombies and Vampires!
Earlier today, Square Enix and United Front Games announced that they'll be delivering a horror movie style add-on to the gritty open-world action of Sleeping Dogs. The publisher and developer showed off the trailer and some gameplay from Nightmare in North Point, and talked about the special weapons and abilities Wei Shen will get access to with the DLC.
This DLC follows the trend of Red Dead Redemption's Undead Nightmare DLC and the Festival of Blood add-on that Sucker Punch made for the PS3's Infamous 2 last year. I, for one, applaud this movement, especially if it includes grindhouse-inspired presentation like in this trailer. Look forNightmare in North Point to hit on October 30th.

Source: Sleeping Dogs' first story-based DLC features undead gangsters, vampires - News at Gameplanet New ZealandUnited Front Games and Square Enix London Studios have announced that Nightmare in North Point, the first Sleeping Dogs DLC to expand the story of Detective Wei Shen, will be available on October 30.The Halloween-themed expansion features undead gang members and Jiang Shi (Chinese vampires) as enemies.
To combat his new ungodly foes, Shen has a lightning fists upgrade and a peach wood sword – the latter of which was used in Taoist exorcisms according to Chinese lore.
Nightmare in North Point will offer a few hours' worth of content according to Square Enix. A price is still to be confirmed.
Sleeping Dogs’ previously-announced racing and swat team DLC is out on October 17.
